Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's get to the latest with Lauren. Lauren, you're coming
straight fast, man. She gets him. Somebody that knows somebody detail.
I'm the long girl that knows a little bit about everything,
and she'd be having the latest on the latest with
Lauren la Rosa.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Sometimes you have facts, sometimes you have details.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
Sometimes you have a little bit of everything. It's the
latest on the Breakfast Club. Okay. So going back to
the Brandy and Monica concert, there were reports last night
that Jan Roul got into UH, that he got jumped.
Soul got on. You were there, so you didn't see
that though. Well, first of all, the reports weren't even
that it happened at the Brandon Monica concert. Jarrul cleared
(00:40):
it up and then I found out more information and
found out that it happened at the concert. But the
reports were that he got jumped outside of a restaurant
in New York. But Jrul got on X and cleared
it up. He said something. He said somebody did try
to jump him. It wasn't at the restaurant that was mentioned.
Say lest he says he's currently or a few hours
ago he was chilling smoking a joint, watching as VP
(01:00):
with not a scratch on him with the laughing moji.
So from what I was told, Uh, there was a
scuffle that went down backstage at the Brandon and Monica concert.
Joah Rule was actually supposed to come out and perform.
They were do went crazy that card. Yeah, he was
supposed to come out and perform. On his way to
the stage is where this little scuffle went down. And
from what I understand, his camp isn't even really for
(01:22):
sure what caused the scuffle, like what where it came from?
But it happened and he didn't perform, but he's okay, we.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Don't like to come outside, Like what exactly who the
hell trying to scuffle with?
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Growing as I don't know. In the content, it was
such a good vibe. Was surprised that.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, I was so gone, come on and you pop off.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
Crazy?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
What the hell?
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Yeah, that's crazy, am I don't know my room? Comes
on and you decided you want to swing? That was
not the energy at the concert. He said, he is fine,
he's home, he's chilling, can.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Go to hospital, went straight home and all that because
they would say he got beat up bad thatsh false.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
No, And I did see a video a short video
that is believed to be video of the scuffle. I
saw some blocks posting that, but you can't even really
see anything in that videos literally just like shoving and
it looks like security like you literally can't see much.
So it seems like whatever it was didn't even fully
get to happen. Thank god, so blown whatever, you know.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Yeah, joll waits like that Joe would have caught the
well for them, it would have been a problem that
would have been on it.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
I'm just like, why are you bringing that energy for
Brandy and Monica? Like that wasn't the energy?
Speaker 2 (02:26):
Another grown ass man over here with the wrong competition, just.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
Trying to mind his business.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
He wanted to make home job, saying, y'all should be.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Why did they fight? Why is anybody fighting at forty
one years old? Somebody business?
Speaker 2 (02:40):
My point, that's we should be discouraging, not y'all, y'all.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
I'm just saying he left.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Yeah, he ain't gonna just fall on the floor roll
over like he's gonna fight back.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Yeah yeah. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Well.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
In other news, Prize so yesterday a federal judge sent
in Prize to fourteen years in prison. So back in
April twenty twenty, three, Priz was convicted of conspiracy, money laundering,
and illegal lobbying. This was after oh and then after
he does those fourteen years, he'll have to do three
years of probation. Now, this happened in the DC Federal court. Now,
(03:15):
the prosecutors wanted a hint, They wanted a couple decades
thrown at him, but his attorneys were asking for three years.
So his attorney said that they do plan on appealing
his contion, his conviction, and his sentence, and he's supposed
to turn himself in on January twenty seventh. Now you
also remember back in twenty nineteen, Priz was indicted on
four criminal accounts for making illegal contributions to Barack Obama's
(03:39):
twenty twelve re election campaign. And then two years after that,
defense added more charges in relation to the guy from
Malaysia that they said sold all that it was like
four point five billion dollars. So he's been going through
some legal things, but here is where it's landed. And
he's been saying for a while that this is not true.
Doing anything illegal like this to serve him no purpose,
why would he do this, So they plan on appealing.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I be in the house away from people because I
don't know why all these bad decisions being made. Is
fifty three years old, he'll be sixty seven.
Speaker 1 (04:06):

them two stories. Just let me know why I be
in the house. It ain't nobody gonna make me feel
bad about being that.
Speaker 1 (04:16):

have been there this.
Speaker 2 (04:21):

fighting an R and B concert.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
It really wasn't that bad.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Like, all I gotta do is look around in the
room and count. It's more than fun, the potential for anything. Okay,

of my life.
