Speaker 1 (00:00):
Work was my social life when I was in my
twenties and early thirties. You know, you went out with
the people from work. A lot of people dated all
the other people at work. I mean that that's where
your whole thing was. I can't imagine what that would
have been like. To have all that goal away when
I was in my twenties. Might have been miserable. Yeah, well,
and people were. And what's interesting about as opposed to

(00:21):
when you're old and bitter and you don't even talk
to your co workers and uh, you know, somebody says
how you do it? And you say, um, get off
my cubicle, same day, a different st and you just
keep shuffling to the coffee maker. You know, once you're
old and better, it doesn't have the same effect. But
for the younger crowd it had to be terrible. Yeah,
I would agree. What's crazy and ironic, um, is that

the people are so deranged with Trump hatred that they like, uh,
embraced what do you what do you call it? In prison?
Solitary confinement for like an entire population, even as they

could scientifically be explained by you know, COVID risk just crazy,
far strong, and yet

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
