The topic of annoying things people do at meetings came up. For example: When someone shows up to a meeting late and then asks about something that was already talked about, Jack gave everyone permission to say, "we covered this earlier."

Okay, so I was trying to figure out how to
tell this story.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I'm just going to say this, and I think a
lot of you have dealt with this, dealing with human beings.
Anytime you're dealing with human beings, it's going to be frustrating.
Homo sapiens part of an organization trying to make a
major decision at a meeting, mate, and I'm going to
change all the facts, but the principles will remain. Says

if an organization is trying to decide are we going
to market to consumers or to a corporate market? You're
at your flat earther's club meeting and you have this
discussion exactly. There's no way the curve of it just
doesn't make any sense anyway. So are we going to
be a retailer or a wholesaler? That is what we

must decide. Now, we're not here to talk about the
packaging or the marketing message, because that's not We're here
to talk about are we going to be a wholesaler
or a retailer.

Then immediately somebody.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Stands up and says, I don't like the packaging.

It's too red, And you think, what.

Oh Jesus, oh, God, this is why dictatorships are effective.

He's not calling for one my Ley's favorite thing in meetings,
because this happens a lot at things I go to. Uh,
they go through a whole bunch of stuff. Then they
open it up to questions, and the person or people
who showed up late and missed all the information ask
about it, and then they go through it, all of
it again. For those of us who are there.

Right date uncomfortably look around for a second, and then
they just redo everything.
