Speaker 1 (00:01):
Especially in the Jamie Boy Show with DJ Foign.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's Sonti when you need to know, we got you
three things you need to know on Boston's number one
for hip hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Five Sovereignty has taken the lead. Journalisabeth second fourth, the Good.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Time by its third, but it will be Sobeignty to
roll fuck that Entucky. It's the most exciting minute and
a half. You're gonna get go, go go. You're eating,
drinking your mint julip and you have your hat on
and it's just so exciting. Monday May fifth Sovereignty winning
the one hundred and fifty first Kentucky Derby on Saturday.

(00:43):
Odds there were nine to one, so certainly a favorite.
And it's just so exciting. They get into those little
thingies and they just go what are those things called? No,
I have no idea, but yeah, they get them in
there and then and the last horse never wants to
get in, and it's a little bit and once they
get it in and it's like wop and they're gone
and it's a blink and it's over.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
So much money. There's more races, right, there's not just
a big one, right, they have a bunch like leading
up right.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So for the it's called the triple Crown for the horses,
so they have oh they have smaller ones, yes, yes, yes, yes,
at like the fair grounds. Yeah, but the big ones
for the horses are the Preakness, that the Belmont and
obviously the Derby. You want your horse to win all
three and make it the triple Crown.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
The jockeys weigh like.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
And they have to stay like that. They almost as
bad as models.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Yeah, they're there. They gotta be little nuggets, but it's
just it's exciting nonetheless, and it's fun to bet and
get it on the action. I myself did bet on
the eighteen horse not going to see a dollar because
my bookie's my dad, and he definitely pocketed. I'm gonna
text him this morning and be like, you still haven't
told me how much money that I won? All right,

(02:00):
let us talk about beehonse have you? Guys started to
see some of these videos coming out from her show
and all the mishaps that are happening here.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
It was kind of scary. The one with the frames
kind of come around out that was kind of crazy.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
That one was super scary. Okay. So during her show,
she has this part where there's like robots on and
they're each holding like an empty frame, and she walks
up and she has to they mark the stage if
she knows exactly where to stand, because the frames are
coming in the front, in the back of her head,
and if she were in the wrong spot spot, she
gonna get hit with a metal frame. You can see

(02:33):
her looking down down, She's looking around. She's looking down,
she's looking around. They never marked the stage, so now
she's trying to look at the robots. You could see
in her face like a little bit of fear, but
also pissed because that should have been done, that should
have been taken care of. She doesn't get taken out
by the robots, thank god. Separate part of the show,

(02:54):
she gets inside of a horseshoe and flies around the
stadium in the horseshoe while something happened where they were.
The guy that's connecting her either his glove got stuck
to her or his glove got stuck to the wire.
The look of death this woman is giving him, like
get away from me, get off, figure it out, fix it,

(03:16):
because I need to go into the sky and like
mad mad, and I think she was already mad about
the robots. Now his glove is stuck to her and
she can't fly. She ends up getting off there, but
Rocky start to her show, and of course this is
playing into everybody's like, well, that's why no one's going
and buying tickets because they can't figure it out. Guys,
it's the second show, Like give her a second.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I understand, but didn't we rehearse this?

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Like we probably just a bunch of times, you would think,
But but I don't correct me if I'm wrong. I
feel like at different venues, you're gonna have different people.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Right, she travels the same okay hands, Yes.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
The same stage hands, because those are the people who
know how to set up the stage and anything like that,
at least a call group. Yes, I'm sure there's people
these other hands from the TDT and the coming and
say we got to put this head, put that there,
and lay it all out. But for the most part,
there's someone who knows, Okay, this is the X, this
is the this like the technicians, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Not putting the X in between the robots is diabolical.
And it's not like I feel like the guy's glove
was an accent getting stopped. But it just it just
looked bad.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yeah, the robots are legit robots, like they're not no
small robots. Like they choot like if one of those
frames hit done, it's gone. And you got to also
remember that everything, everything is sequenced, right, so you can
just stop the show and say, okay, let's stop the
show and fix it now, because if you stop here,
then the timing is off and everything else falls off
off the train, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Did you guys also see the sphere stuff?

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yes, So in.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
The first show she does, there's a there's a part
on the screen where I can be getting a little
bit off, but Beyonce is walking in Vegas on the screen.
This is like a like a cartoon kind of thing,
and she picks up the Sphere as she's walking. The
Sphere sued her and they were like, you're not going
to use our likeness. Like in her next show, it's

(05:03):
like again spear paying with her.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
We have checked this beforehand and make sure everyody was
fine with it.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Here's the thing she always does this. She takes cultural
things that are popping and adds them into the show.
Most people take them as like, oh damn, that's a
lay of Beyonce being mentioned. Whether it's a dance, especially dancing.
She'll take a lot of viral dances and kind of
like do them. And then of course the people who
created these dances are like geeked out. But spheares like,
we make enough money, we don't need you, so please

(05:29):
remove that from your show.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah, the Sphere was like, we're all set by the
way I saw somebody put Well, then I guess that
whole rumor about her having a residency at the Sphere
is not true because the Sphere was like, you're gonna
sop it or you're gonna pay, and Beyonce was like,
cut it out. So yeah, she said, hey, a few
bumps in the road thus far, but we'll see. Is
only show number two still alive.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
We're on the up and up.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, she made it past the robots all right. Lastly,
Selts back in action tonight, which is exciting. We got
Game one tonight, seven o'clock. Tip I'll watch for an hour.
I like that. I'll give him a good hour. Drew
Holiday and JB. Jaylen Brown off the injury list. That's
what we like to hear Obviously, the Celts are favored

(06:13):
against the Knicks, but they were favored against the Magic
and they took an l there. You never know what's
going to happen injury wise, so playoffs are exciting.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Nonetheless, Celton five and Celtics take care of the rock.
It's that simple, Hey.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Protect the rock at all costs.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I like that song.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
These three things need to know for Monday, May the fifth,
Listen live on the app because if you want to
go to Kendrick and you want to see Sissy, they're
going to be here in just a couple of days.
The easiest way to do it is listen either live
or on the app. As soon as you hear one
of them, go leave a talk back, name city, favorite song,
and you might be going good luck.
