They just switched up a few things, so hopefully that
does the job and I it gets It's the worst
in the morning and at night obviously, like I feel
like that's for a lot of people that are sick.
And thenviously you're adding the sinus situation. But still no
sense of smell. Okay, I still can't smell it a

But what did they call it? Just a cold?

No, I have an infection, that's it. Yeah, and then
sinus infection just came from a cold.

It's like a severe sinus infection that they believe came
from a cold.

I believe came from razor blade COVID.

But I tested negative the past two months for COVID,
So I don't know. I mean, but I my throat remember, remember,
like a month or so ago, my throat was telling
us how badly my throat was hurting.

Oh it was when we were on vacation.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Yes, my vacation was just trash because my throat was
hurting so bad. So I think I had that and
it turned into this severe sinus infection.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's my guess. But I'm not. I'm no doctor had.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
A crazy run if you think about it, because even
before this, you had the stomach stuff, like it's been
a rough stretch.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
If we're adding that in and the fireman does it's wait, yeah,
we're it's it's damn near.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Five six weeks of illness in that house. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
The only positive I can take from it is that
maybe this means like this is what's going to happen
to us, and now the winter time will be free,
free of it, because I don't know what's left really.

Yeah, I mean I feel like your system is just
building up some good immunity. So yeah, so I think
you're good.

Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
The science of vection is crazy, though, and I'm just
I'm so ready for it to end. But the doctor's
like yeah, these things can linger in tiness. Infections can
last fourteen days longer depending you know. So that's where
I'm at, right in the sweet spot of fourteen days.
So we'll see multiple anti antibiotics in the next step
is for me to see ear nose and throat, which
you went to yesterday, right for it?

Yes, Well, they say, well, I didn't go see the specialists.
You got to go see your doctor to get the
recommendation to go see the specialists.

Did you get the wreck?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Uh yeah, yeah. They're kind of pushing back on it.
They were like, oh, you should try something now. I
was like, bro, listen, I've been dealing with this damning
in my whole life.

And then the thing is that you don't see your doctor.
You see another doctor who now thinks that he got
the solution to it, like, let's try all these other
things first. I'm like, bro, I've been here before. Just
do what I'm asking you to do it. The thing frustrating.

Its completely broken and you have to jump through so
many hoops just to get help, and it's crazy.

And then they wonder why people don't go to the
doctor because it's impossible.

Sometimes it really does.

I feel like that's the play, just so we can
spend more money, because we talked about this. You go
to urgent kre okay, cool, you might get sung, but
even the bill itself, you end up paying like mad
bread for it.

I know people who have had to go into a
ambulance and said no, I'm not taking it because they
know they're going to get hit with a bill.

I tried when I ruptured my achilles. They were like
at the gym, I said, I'll get a ride. I
was in the worst pain in my life. I said,
I'll get a ride. That's so sad, but I knew
how bad, how expensive it is gonna be. But the
gym was like, your your foot is falling off and
we're liable, like we're calling that when you're getting in
the ambo.

It's embarrassing to the ambulance and fuck dead club foot. Yeah,
so bad.

Yeah, I mean, and it's a running joke, but I'm
dead serious, Like, call your primary care doctor. I don't
feel good, Like I feel really sick. It's September, what
is it, sixteenth? When can you see me.

They're like, November one at noon, are you available?

I've been dealing with an issue for like three weeks now,
and my appointments October thirtieth.

I'm like, what if? I mean, I'm not gonna die.
We hope you're heeled right, But I'm.

Like, why do I have to wait that long to
get fixed? It's kind of crazy.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
And like I said, I saw my and I like
my PCP. My PCP school actually made him even my
son's PCP, because he's a young dude who understands a
little bit more, you know what I mean, Like he's
he's more hips to trying different things. I couldn't tell
you the last time I saw him in person, you
know what I mean. I've seen like five other people
who I have no clue who these people are. And
again you create a history with the adopt like he

understands your your concerns, and I got to go re
explain everything again to this other new doctor who's probably
not gonna be here in six months, and I'm like, bro,
this is crazy.

Yeah, that happens to me too. They'll always be like,
well do you want to see you know so and

Could get you in earlier. But your main doctor can't
see you for two months. I'm like, I'll listen, I
will take a blind person and I don't care.

Yeah, that's the sad part.

Had a doctor a few years ago that he called
me obese, Like so I've left ruined.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
No, like I left the practice like half the words
because on the charney put on beasts. Instead of saying like, hey,
you could lose some weight, he put it just on
the chart. I was so mad at that I left,
and like some of these people are not nice.

That's the whole other thing, you know, that's his job.

There's a better way to like relay that information, you know,
like you don't remember they they talked to a thousand
other people in that day, delivered the news it was
the worst album here is that you need to you

and I knew at the time, but he wrote it
down and I'm like I was looking.

Die like say overweight, it's not to you're overweight. You
could stand to lose a couple of pounds. When you
say obese and obesity like, it messes with my head
out crazy.

I can't even look up the height to weight charts
that the weight you're supposed to be, because they'll put
me damn you're dead, they'll put me in the morbid.

But that's also from a timeframe where people just didn't eat,

Or opposite, maybe they ate what they were supposed to.

When you start talking about something like somebody's weight, it
just changes. Like I had my daughter tell me one time,
this was like three years ago, and it changed my
whole like thing. She told me that I was buff,
but I had a belly through me put me into
orbit of craziness. Yeah, so that's why I eat broccoli
every single day now because of that.

You know, they don't know, they don't. They just observe,
and doctors they know. Yeah, I feel like he was
saying it to like make a point. I mean he
said it mean too, so I left the practice. That's
what he gets. He doesn't get my insurance. This guy
is mean. Not all doctors are good people. At the
end of the day, there are people, and that guy
wanted to cut me deep.

Listen, We've talked about this.

No matter what the person is saying, it really is
the delivery of the message. Because there's sometimes where it's
like a very serious thing that I have to say
to whoever it is. But you can kind of like
lessen the blow a little bit. It doesn't have to
be as aggressive sometimes.

just these men out here just don't know how to
give that or don't know how to take care of

baby girl. He's locked up, and after a couple of
years of being locked up, he starts saying, I just

summer when he calls you and says, we're the engagement's over.

I have two kids. So I have a sixteen year
old and a daughter with him who's five. He took
the role on became the father of my oldest, so
I didn't out here just you know, raising them, and
they both call him dad. So that's why I was like,
all right, let me try to make it work. I
know he's in there for a while, but I plan
on being with anybody. I just got to be out
here supporting my kids and do what I do as
a mom, So I'm not paying attention to know other man.

he's in there, just be that supportive partner.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know what he's doing I
don't know why he wants to be single. Maybe he's

life on pause for him when he doesn't plan on

but I mean I feel like you got to at
this point try to match his energy. There's no point
in hanging on if he's and when he gets out
and you know, you guys are probably gonna have to

there and experiment, but there ain't nothing out here that
I'm willing to go and try to rebuild a whole
new thing with if like I said, ain't nobody's trying
to match energy of being independent, being strong and being
able to be bosses together and build together. That's what

Yeah, I'm not stuck on him. I've moved on it
did her. It was a sucky situation. It was somebody
that I did meet out in Rhode Island. I'm revisionally
from Lawrence and then just people out here like the
people I've met and try to engage with, and it's just, oh,

went for that person who has that entrepreneurship kind of
mind and you know, school wise and stuff and not

to move on and kind of experiment with something different,
