fundraiser tonight for suicide prevention at Mission Beach House and Revere.
I do know that's not Santi's favorite, but all are welcomed.
We do this fundraiser every year, so this is my
tenth year after losing my best friend suicide in twenty fifteen,

so this is very meaningful to me, and I just
wanted to kind of spread the word. We're going to
have a raffle tea. All the proceeds from the raffles
will go directly to my team. Mission Beach House is
also donating twenty percent of all food and drink sales
during the event, So whether you're dining in taking part
in the raffles, you're helping push us closer to our
goal and supporting suicide prevention and awareness. The walk is

for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. They're a nonprofit organization.
The walk is going to be held at the Boston
Comments on October twenty fifth, and if you just look

And right now, we're currently ranked fourth out of ninety
three teams, and myself I am individually, I am top

two out of nine out of four hundred teams or people,
actually four hundred and eighty five individuals. So right now
I'm top two and I'm trying to get to top
one because it is my tenth year and it's definitely
an emotional rollercoaster with it, and I just want to
spread awareness and just let people know like there's always
someone out there that can talk to you and be
there for you.

to the thought of what it would feel like to
lose your best friend. And I know it's been you know,

but I know what I can only imagine what it
would feel like to lose my best friend. And I'm

people his hat that he created, and it was a
cool hat in my opinion, but the way that they
were talking down on this dude, it just made no
sense to me. It's like you should be you know,
coming together at least, like give him some constructive criticism,
don't just tell him this stuff is trash and then
like to almost like man handle the hat and then

like I think he threw it on the ground.

It's towards the end of the video. So it's like
I'm seeing this and I have a clothing.

Line myself, and I'm like, you know, holding off on
it a little bit, trying to curate and whatnot, and
seeing that like kind of scared me, kind of turned
me off to the whole thing, cause I'm like, yo,
I don't want somebody just like to just say a
bunch of critical negative stuff about my clothing.

And then not give me any constructive criticism.

On top of that, they say that this is like
a great industry to be in and that everyone is
like so loving and blah.

Blah blah blah. It's like no, like all.

Hype beests, you look like homeless people have the time,
and then you buy clothes that costs two three thousand
dollars for what and you're gonna track somebody else's stuff
Like it makes more sense to me.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
Yeah, I mean, I just think that's uh, that's the
world right now. You know, we're we're just we're living
in some scary times where if sometimes it really does
feel like people just want to have their moment to
go viral that guy doing that and throwing the hat
and stuff. To me, that's just a facade so that
that moment goes on social media and that person becomes famous.
Because that's kind of crazy. But yeah, like you know,

sometimes people call this show and they wrap or they
sing and they have the guts to do it, and
we we try our best to be constructive and be nice,
but I think there's a way to say everything.

We had that conversation this morning too.

But you're there listen that you're always gonna there's always
gonna be one or two in every business, in every industry, right,
I mean no, no industry is like the perfect one
to work.

And let me say this, Tim, there's a lot of
there's a lot of dope street fashion designers in Boston
that are doing they thing.

Bro. I mean we got Yes, we got Quinda. Uh.

He's always like posting up and he's got people like
fabulous and people like that when he's apparently can go
get his stuff at South Shore Plaza. I'm wearing a
hot right now by brain Child, which is another Boston
designer that collaborated with New Era.

They put out some dope stuff. I mean, who else
grow rich.
Speaker 9 (18:29):
There's a bunch of people out here that are doing
dope fashion that can that can rival and I hear
what you're saying, that can rival all these name brands
that people expensive luxury brands that everybody's mind. Keep doing
your thing and don't worry about what everybody else says.

Bro and Tim, we'd love to see your stuff. What
kind of what kind of stuff do you make? What's
what's what's your fashion?
Speaker 8 (18:47):
So so pretty much it's streetwear, but it's like kind
of skateboarding, uh I skateboard also, so like it has that,
like you know, a little grungy style to it, but
at the same time, like the meaning behind it. It's
called wholesome apparel, and like I just think of, like,
you know, the most heartwarming things that I've gone through

and try to put that onto my clothing. Like, for
an example, I was raised Christians, so I think about
like how the piece and the dove with a little
whatever branch that he took when Noah's Ark happened. So
the logo for the brand is actually a dove, but
like it's a grungy dove that has like tattoos and
a beanie and all this other stuff.

It looks cool. Like I've talked to people before and
they're like, oh, this is really cool. Yeah, So it does.

It would end up being a thing, Like I have
a hockey jersey that I'm coming out with soon. If
it does come out the way I wanted to, then
I'll definitely send y'all a couple you guys say.
