Speaker 1 (00:00):
And the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn It's
SAUTI Good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four
or five.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Hi, everybody, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I said that we had to have a longer conversation
about this because I was really floored that this's happened.
So I guess there's a Facebook group called work Memes,
and inside the work Memes Facebook, there was a conversation
about getting coffee for a coworker on your way in

(00:39):
to work. So every morning that said coworker stops by
insert the coffee place. Let's say, my favorite coffee shop
in Marshfield is slack Tide. I drive by slack Tide
every morning. I text Son and I'm like, hey, I'm
passing Slacktide.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
What can I get you?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Yeah, I personally love the ice t Honey Frother, but hey,
tweet their well sounds great, So I grab you the coffee.
And now all of a sudden, this work meme Facebook
is saying that.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
That is cheating.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
So Veronica calls us because she's like, guys, all I
did was hop in and say that's weird because I
get coffee from my coworker who's a mail every day
and this is not cheating like this is this is
crazy land. The Facebook page went as far as trying
to find her husband, look up there first and last name.
They wanted to report this to the husband and say
that she was cheating for taking a coffee that was

(01:30):
free from her coworker.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
Because it's a nice thing to do. And the fact
that people are going out there to find people like that,
that's in true.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Now, that's Facebook's nuts. They'll do that, they'll do that
to you. But I I mean, I said, we are
a great example. You go to Starbucks every single morning
and you grab our coffee. You're going anyway, You're literally
going anyway, so you grab it. It's not anybody's business.
But we trade off every other week. One week I
pay the next week Santi paste. This is not weird

(01:58):
like any like. This is not strange. This is not cheating.
This is not weird. People were blowing the phones up.
We had a woman calling and she say, no, it is.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Weird that we should ask permission and let our partners
know that we do this. It would be a waste
of a conversation.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Absolutely, We actually got this talk.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Back about it.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Actually, Sanky buys you, a married woman a coffee every day,
that don't count.

Speaker 5 (02:21):
He's gay, we're good.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Friends along and we're straight and married to a woman.
It would be an issue. Wow he really got me.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
God, So yeah, like that's that's the question.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
And by the way, I thought that everybody would be
on our side on this if the person's going anyway
and they stop in and what what that's cheating now?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
Like you guys are getting with this.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
But it's safe to say that if you find this
to be an issue and you think it is cheating,
then you have major issues. There's other things relationship, you're
jealous or whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
If in fact, you are accepting a coffee for free
from your co worker of the opposite sex or even
the same sex, do you consider that to be cheating
now in a relationship. My babe's good morning. It's Ashley

(03:31):
in the jam In Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Listen. Facebook is toxic, bro, Like Facebook is crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
There's a there's a Facebook page called work Memes, and
we had a girl by the name of Veronica call Us.
She commented in the work memes Facebook because they were
saying in there that if you bring a coworker coffee
in the morning, that that could be considered cheating. Who
are these people? Honest to God, I don't want to
know them. I don't want to be friends with them.

(04:00):
I got a DM from Edgardo and he goes ash.
This world has gone to You know what if people
are considering getting coffee for a coworker cheating and I
feel that my soul like that that is grasping at straws.
If we're like, hey, I'm driving past slack tide in Marshfield,

(04:20):
can I grab you something?

Speaker 3 (04:22):
I'm cheating now? Like they're all stopping slap yourself.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Like if you hug somebody like even that, like I
could see that's a form of affection. But if you're
grabbing some many coffee, that sounds like a real nice
thing to do.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
No, it's it's insane. I got another DM from a
ground She goes ash. My husband would be so hype
if I was getting free coffee every day, because coffee
is expensive and I have a problem.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Can I ask this question?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
What about?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
You know?

Speaker 7 (04:42):
And some people might might think this way because I've
heard it. If they buying you coffee, or they're doing
all these other things, buying you lunch, coffee, whatever, but
they don't do it for you. You feel what I'm saying?
So you got so you're doing you buying coffee for
Santy all the time? Yep, all buying him food. But
then Hubby's like, but you never buying me coffee? You
never even all fun to buy me a coffee? Would
that be? Is there a point of contention there now,

(05:04):
because it's like, why are you doing this so much
for somebody else?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Yeah, you never asked me to do.

Speaker 7 (05:08):
It for me?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Yes? Fine, Still not cheating, okay, I.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Still we still can't give it the word cheating by
picking up a TwixT coffee at mary Loo's.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Can't do it?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Yeah, you kissed somebody on the lips?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
All right?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Fighting? Okay fine.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Michelle is in Dorchester, Hi, Michelle, Hello, all right, so
talk to me.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
How do you feel about this?

Speaker 6 (05:32):
It's not cheating, thank you? Ive it just somebody being nice.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's just somebody being nice.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
And and by the way, I'll be honest with everybody
I do it.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Someone's house, hey, can I'm stopping by the coffee shop.
Do you guys need anything? I hope they say no,
because I don't want to buy it for them.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I'm praying they say no. But it's the right thing
to do.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Okay, Okay, she's over let me know what she feels,
and she's out. Rich is in Boston. Rich feels like
getting the coffee opens the door for other things. So
if I'm like, hey, I'm driving by Mary Lows, do
you want a coffee, I'm also saying do you want
my vagina? That does that? What?

Speaker 3 (06:17):
What are you talking about? What door is it opening?

Speaker 8 (06:20):
No, I'm saying in the man aspect, because the band
does nothing for free. At the end of the day,
even if he's being nice at first, its other options
that he's thinking about. All right, Tom, he's not buying,
thank you for He's not buying Becky come down to
hall coffee issue.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Well, Becky's not my friend from down the hall, so no,
I'm not going about her like.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
He's not gonna see Becky. He's only going to see me.
So you like, let's use Santi as an example.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Santy buying me this this beautiful cold brew every morning
means that he wants something else from me.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Rich, How about a job.

Speaker 8 (06:50):
Nope, no, because y'all got ten years in and y'all
both are married for ten years.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Okay, but that was the question if they're if they're married,
is it she? So if you're saying if if a
single person is buying another single person to coffee, okay, yeah,
we could dance with that one. I could.

Speaker 8 (07:07):
Or the man married in the person in the women's single,
or the man's single and the woman's married. It's gonna
he's trying to lead to other things. He's gonna leave
him coffee to drinks after work, to in the hotel room,
this storage room.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Oh okay, Rich, Well there you have it. Listen.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I think we could. That's what we could dance with that.
That that's a different conversation. This is two married people.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Yeah, it's not the case. And I don't think every
guy is looking for something else. There are people out
there that still do some nice things.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Noel is in Marlborough.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
Hi, Noel, how you doing so?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Talk to me?

Speaker 6 (07:43):
I was this guy, this huge guy. I'm not saying
no name, but I think his name is William, but
I'm not saying names. Okay, I was buying chicken. Every
every I will buy coffee. I'm like, I'm gonna bring
this guy coffee and I'm gonna say, hey, here's a coffee, brother,
and the guy who look at me struck buddy. I'm like,
this guy's gonna get rid of me. I am buying

(08:04):
coffee every day, carrying it and driving a ninety one
R two with no cup holders just to putting coffee.
Then my job only lasted two months.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
No, you're out here buying the coffee and it couldn't
even keep you a job.

Speaker 6 (08:21):
Didn't even keep the job. I knew. I knew my
time was gonna expired soon. As soon as he walked
in the door, I'm like, oh boy, this guy's walking
around with his little alligator pants real tight. He's about
I know, you know that little grand alligator. I knew
he was like a preap. He was a preppy guy
who went to college. I'm like, I'm gonna work. I'm

(08:42):
just a box boy. I'm just stucking bottles, you know,
I'm stucking bottles. I'm like, oh, man, this guy's gonna
fire me. I'm like, how you doing, sir? So yeah,
I'm going to manage. Oh, thank you man. Hey, here's
some coffee. IM like I better buy coffee. This guy
I knew I was making a little bit more money
than him. I said, this guy's gonna fire me. So
I started buying coffee. Then I said, you know what,
I'm going to play slicks. I'm going to bring them

(09:03):
some lunch too. So I started buying lunch with bread
and chicken. I said, hey, chicken man, whatever you touches yours,
just some touch mind. If you want to have them,
have them. The coffee did not help, not even the chicken.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Well, if the chicken don't help, then I got nothing
for you. Thanks for the call. That was completely unrelated,
but it was funny. Yeah, he's completely unrelated.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
It's funny.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
I mean, listen, I don't know what to say.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
I just think if we live in a world where
your coworkers go and buy a place and they say,
can I I'm here, can I grab it's just literally
being considerate.

Speaker 7 (09:35):
Guys know that not all And I agree with thee
from Boston shout out to her. There's some guys who
know that. Dudes don't always approach this out of kindness,
like Santy. They some dudes that are doing this to
try to get in your pants. Probably, but it's up
to the female whoever the other person is to be like, no,
you know, this is just coffee. But some there's some

(09:56):
guys who are in here with intention of I'm trying
to back this chick, and I'm gonna slowly work my
way in there and doing the coffee. Now, I'm not
a jealous type, but I can see how some dudes
might be like, Yo, this guy's trying to play you.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
And that is fine. I agree with you. Yes, I'm
sure there are people with all like ulterior motives, but
that still isn't cheating. True, the act of buying the
coffee is still not cheating, because if we're putting that
in the cheating realm, I mean, for God's sake, I.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Don't even think it deserves a conversation with your partner like, no,
not buy me coffee.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
No, I don't think the fireman knows that you grab
me coffee every Day's not business?

Speaker 7 (10:31):
And now you guys are you guys feeling like confident
that if you want to tell them, they would be like, oh, yeah,
that's not a big thing.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
Absolutely, you know, he'd probably be like, why are you
telling this?

Speaker 1 (10:39):
You're wasting my ears.

Speaker 3 (10:41):
We have bigger problems the five month old. He's sleep
and you think care. This man's buying you a black
cold brew every morning. I absolutely don't care.
