Speaker 1 (00:11):
Hi, everybody, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I feel like I should just talk about what I
was just talking about because this is like, this is
kind of crazy lands. So you know, we've all been
for the most part, entrenched in this Karen Reid stuff.
I know for a fact that people that listen to
the show are like they had never even heard of
it until we started talking about it, and then they
(00:36):
became obsessed with it too. The three of us, like
we're crime junkies for sure.
Speaker 3 (00:42):
We be.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
There's no Karen Reid case. We're talking about something else
because we like this stuff. These like the documentaries, were
watching all this stuff. I've never seen it where people
are so just unopen to hearing any sort of conversation
(01:06):
about the other side.
Speaker 1 (01:07):
And it's strange to me because especially on this.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Show, where we kind of pride ourselves and being like hey, like,
for instance, Farren literally said yesterday, I think women are
sneakier than men. So we open up the phone lines
prove them wrong, like let's play Let's dance. Because other
people have other opinions. I know three of my friends
I could give a different opinion to that, but.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's what we do in this show. We have opinions.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
So, you know, when it comes to Karen Reid, we
all kind of right away our initial thoughts were, oh,
she's meeting frames. Yeah, like we all thought that fine.
We started to have a guy on at Rocco. Nick
became like a part of the show. People that listen
to this show love when Nick comes on and kind
of break down what's going on with Karen in court.
(01:52):
But every single time, and I've never hidden this, every
single time we have Nick on, I say, there are
a whole lot of other people that believe that Karen
did this. If you are one of them, please call
Nick had even said call in, I'd love to debate you.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
We never got anybody.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I ended up just literally like fell into my hands
meeting somebody who is on the other side, who was
actually on the stand during Karen Read's court case.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
And that person.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
That I spoke to is unavailable to come on the
show because of some obligations she has for something else
for it, for a different documentary. But she's like, hey,
there's a ton of people that would be willing to
come on and kind of tell you how we feel
here on the other side. So I said, okay, because
that's what we do on this show we have there
are other opinions. That's why Court TV and things of
(02:50):
this nature and YouTube and Instagram.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
That's why it exists because people have.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
Opinions already, getting people upset that we're having somebody on
from the other side. And I'm like, guys, you watch
the documentary right, you're checking that out on Max.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
That has both sides.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
There are people who are supportive of Karen and Karen
Read supporters, and then there are people who are like, wait, no,
I think she did it.
Speaker 4 (03:16):
Okay, yeah, so you're mad at what that.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
We're given a platform to somebody to give what they
feel is true to them, same way that you feel
is true to you. That's exactly That's exactly what I feel.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
Weird.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
I have an opinion on what I have an opinion
on what I think happens, Yes, and I don't know
if today's going to change my opinion, but I want
to hear it. I'm open to hearing it because as humans,
there's another side to all the stuff.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
But that's what If everybody thought the same thing, they
wouldn't be a calledcake, right, Everything would be cool. Obviously,
there's a bunch of people who feel like she did
what she did? What you don't want to hear it
just because you're relaxed.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
It's yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
And I also think why this is important because it's
something that three of us have said on repeat. This
one that's coming on today has had a relationship with John.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
And John has gotten so long.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I've noticed we'll do whole conversations with Nick Rocko.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
John's name doesn't get mentioned once.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, and so you know, and I think that was
a text from her that stood out to me, which
was like, I just really want to come on and
talk about John and you know, and I said that,
you know, it's fine. A good example a girl that
listens to our show daily. She's in a Facebook group
and she said she started watching the documentary and she
said she commented on a post about the Karen Read
(04:35):
case and she said, she said, I actually don't think
Karen did it. She said, but watching the doc and
seeing kind of the other side to this, one thing
that sticks out to me is why didn't Karen just
go in the house with John?
Speaker 1 (04:48):
Like a simple question she put.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
She was like, I just thought that was kind of strange,
Like she let him go in and then she called
him seven times then just left him.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Like that's weird to me. Why didn't she just go
in the house.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Got called fat, got called ugly, got called like told
to die, got told to start skipping meals.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
Which is crazy because she asked a question.
Speaker 3 (05:12):
Because these are the questions too that are gonna come
down in the trial to like, these simple questions get
asked all the time, but you can't ask them with
like on Facebook.
Speaker 1 (05:20):
We've asked these questions on the show, like we honest question. Yeah,
it's it's weird.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
It's a sensational case, which you know now that you're
seeing it on Max and New New York Times and
all these other big platforms. It's becoming you know what
this reminds me of, though, real talk, real talk because
I don't engage in this and this is kind of
how I feel about it. It reminds me of a
This is like a Facebook chat group in real life.
You get what I'm saying, Like, yes, except now you
know who the well you kind of know who the
(05:46):
people on Facebook unless you're a bot. But this is
exactly how Facebook is, but just playing out in real life.
Everybody hates everybody. You say one thing wrong, Now you
wear pink tie. Go die, you go wear another tie
all your your horror. This is exactly the way because
people so opinionated now, like you said, because of the Internet,
I think everybody's so like, relax, come down. Yes you
(06:08):
can have your opinion, but you also got to be
open minded to hear other opinion. Yeah, that's how you
get balance in life, exactly.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
So I mean worse than the election four years ago, right, honestly. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
And and by the way, I'm jealous of the morning
show that's on right now in middle of America because
they're they can talk about it and they're like, oh
and they're getting both sides. Everybody has it, but because
it's here and because it's so.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Hot, like it's just it's crazy.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
So we're gonna see listen, Like I said, if we
were a different kind of show where we just said
our opinions and said that's what it is and.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
Moved on, that's that. But that's just not who we are.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
That's not how we do that's not how we could converse.
I I personally I like to learn.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
That's why I'm watching the documentary. It tells both sides
they better come up with someone better. Than go die though,
that's Sun or tell me to skip them off.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I know I should skip him a.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Geat guys the love God, it's Friday. Good morning, especially.
Speaker 7 (07:15):
With j Foreign and Santi.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 9 (07:26):
Five Wow Wow Wow Friday, March twenty first, and it
is the most money spent for a franchise in North
American sports history. The Celts Ownership Group has agreed to
sell the franchise to William Chisholm, he's the managing director
(07:47):
and co founder of Symphony Technology Group, for a cool.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Six point one billion with a B dollars. Mind you,
the number goes up.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
I don't know exactly what happens to it, but it
was an initially six point one, but they're saying it
could be upwards of like seven point two seven point three.
The largest amount of money ever paid for a franchise
in North American sports history. And I am saying b billion,
b BO.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Can we say that he overpaid for this team because
the Celtics don't even own they don't own the building.
He's just paying just for the team alone.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
But it's a team is a team.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
But when you start comparing it to other teams out there,
like the Patriots and like NFL teams who make a
lot more cash than that, Like there are teams in
basketball who don't make.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Money, So I might be wrong.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
What was the sec So what's the who held this
record before the Celtics got sold?
Speaker 3 (08:35):
I want to say the Washington Commanders?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Yeah? What did they get sold? For? About six million?
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Right, the Commanders six point zero five billion.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Now, the NFL makes a lot more money than the NBA,
so that's why I'm like, wow, he really like he
wanted his team.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
He wanted it.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
And by the way, not even a basketball player. Played
soccer in college really at Dartmouth.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
And he looks hell young, Yes he does. I'm googling, bro.
I'm like, cool, this guy walking the streets of Boston
worth of billions of dollars.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
Yeah, yeah, it's just chilling. You probably bumped into him
at Starbucks. I tagget his son.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
No you didn't. You know why because he lives in California.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
You know where he bumped into him in Nantucket that
owns a home, which by the way makes a lot
of sense to me.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
He is now foreign though, going to buy a house
in Boston.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I will say, though, And of all the teams that
you want to buy, this is the team in basketball
that you do want to investor. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
So, like I said, he played soccer at Dartmouth. His
son also played there. Uh.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
He graduated in ninety one.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
He received his MBA from the Wharton School and then
went to a very very good business school at University
of Penn.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Well, the guy is really smart, but he is he's
crazy young.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
Do you know who also went to Wharton School? Donald
Donald Trump DT.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Wow, they're really producing really good get l to the
Wharton School.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Yeah, jesus.
Speaker 10 (09:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (09:56):
No.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
I saw the numbers on this thing and I was like,
oh my god. Now I know a lot of diehard
Celts people were like, what's gonna happen with Wick?
Speaker 1 (10:02):
Where's Wick going?
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Wick?
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Rosbeck will still remain as CEO and governor of the
Celts at least for the next three years.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
He's not going anywhere.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
He also said that him and William have been on
the phone like twenty four to seven.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
Everything is cool. Nobody panicked if.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
I'm I'm gonna work for a little bit, but I'm
gonna like run off to the sunset. Because he bought
the team for three hundred million dollars, he sold it
for six point one.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
I think I saw that in two thousand and two
Wick and like the basketball players LLC. Whatever he bought
it with was like three hundred and eighty three million. Yeah,
sold it for six point one billion.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
Raft. On the other hand, Score bought the Patriots for
one thirty and that franchise could sell today if I
feel like for seven billion. So crazy?
Speaker 10 (10:43):
Yeah, oh my god, last minutes later, have a jam
all gotcha?
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Gotcha, gotcha.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
I'm gonna pluck for of those.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
All right. Big news for Ireland they have a.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
New candidate for presidency, speaking of Donald Trump, Connor McGregor.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
You can still play shipping. Oh we have the Foggy
Do the Foggy Do. Yeah, he's he's gonna be running
for president. He says.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
The next presidential election must take placed by the eleventh
of November. We who else is going to stand up
for the government and oppose this bill? Any other presidential
candidate they attempt to put forward will be of no
resistance to them, and I will if you.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Vote McGregor, your voice will be heard. Like, no, I
can't know that. Like maybe in his day, in his time,
I'm sure Donald Trump did a little blow. I'm not.
I'm not taking maybe Joe Biden too, but I can't.
If I'm Ireland, I'm like, we can. That man is
a loose cannon. He's outwardly doing bad things. We can't.
(11:56):
He doesn't hide it, No Ireland.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
He eats cocaine like he loves CoA.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
He loves cocaine, and like currently we can't it could
you know? If it was a thing of his past,
then I would say, but we gotta be careful Island.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Yeah, that's all I say.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
That's all I say. Also, I don't want to see
him running for president. I want him back fighting.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah, I want to fight.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
But he's done, dude, Like he's just he doesn't have
the star quality that he used to have.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Well, I think the bigger problem too is once he
made a hundred million a fight. I think it changed
this whole dynamic which happens in like that world, you know,
like you use your edge.
Speaker 5 (12:31):
She's over here on Lamborghini yachts that I've never seen before.
He's always dressed up to the tea and the nice
customs so fast. He's loving life.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Bro. This this doesn't really shocked me because I don't
know if you guys saw it, but he was just
at the White House meeting with Trump. So I'm wondering
if this was all a setup to then announce that
he was going to run for president.
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Who's fun Crazier things have happened, that is true.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
I think people said that about Donald Trump exactly. Actually,
all right, lastly, some brand new music. I told you
we would, we would chat about it. Dojah Cat and
Jack Harlow teamed up on the song just Us for
and you've now heard it early thoughts.
Speaker 4 (13:07):
It's not bad.
Speaker 3 (13:08):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
It's very Jack Harlow.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
Jock Hallow is doing his Jack Hollow thing. I was
surprised by the Doja verse and how she spit it
her delivery. I really liked him. I wasn't mad at that.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
I was like, Okay, she was in the pocket on
this joint.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Okay, do we have like an actual clip from the
song or age is gonna play a little bit of
it for us. This is Dojah Cat and Jack Harlow
brand new just Us.
Speaker 11 (13:31):
I wish she was using this, but they can't trust us.
Speaker 12 (13:34):
And it's because I'm trying in this high.
Speaker 11 (13:37):
Let's keep it on a hush hushing this.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
I told her she's so pretty and she just blessed this.
Speaker 11 (13:44):
She clutching my hind. I'm adjusting my hind. She husky
like much mushings. You must be nuts rushless, slow it
down like Mcarney. I know it sounded like Zach and Cody.
Speaker 9 (13:56):
This is like sweet.
Speaker 11 (13:56):
I mean, how kid, you might be.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Something that isn't quite a slightly slow it down like Macaroni.
That's I mean, you like it's to be slow. So
there you go.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
Yes, I definitely you could ask Joanne tonight to slow
it down like Macaroni.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
I asked her to do that because she goes too fast.
It's just you know, Okay.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Between eight days and this, I went out. This is
the news.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
This is the literal news, seven o'clock in the New
Music Friday segment, I'll play the doja cap part.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Okay, let's keep it moving, Okay.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
This is the news.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
That is.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
Three things you need to know for Friday, March twenty.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
First, who revend tickets are gonna happen at seven twenty
and then of course Wu Tang Clan at eight twenty
good morning, Happy Friday Weasley.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
And the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreign It's.
Speaker 7 (14:43):
Saw t Morning.
Speaker 13 (14:45):
Clausin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four
or five.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
You know it's It's funny if somebody were to literally
say to Foreign and I can you guys guess, like
what could the Santi's dream. This is close, that's close,
Like this is extremely close, because I could say something
along the lines of he's getting ready to get on
an airplane. He's traveling and he runs into Tom Brady
(15:15):
maybe at like the bar at Logan International, and they
have a quick cocktail together before they get on their flight.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
Talk about being dads, and you know.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
That not necessarily getting to drink, but this was a
reality for some Tom Brady was handing out cheeseburgers at
the airport.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Which is random, so random. We have a little clip of.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
It from the boorgame age twenty one for flight the
Seattle actually have better using that.
Speaker 1 (15:42):
I've done a lot of very cool things with Delta over.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
The last eight keys.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
So we got a Delta Tom Brady partnership.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
I remember this a while ago there was an announcement
that he was doing a partnership with Delta, and I've
got to think, like right like at this point, like
they need him more than anything because air travel is
not getting the best pr as of late. And even
to the point where like we flew the other day
and the pilot came on was talking about all the
stuff on the news. He was like, listen, this is
still safe, guys. We're gonna get to get you there
(16:12):
like nice and safe, and there'll be some bumps, but
all positive things I see.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
From twenty twenty three, Tom Brady joins Delta Airlines as
strategic advisor.
Speaker 4 (16:20):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
And by the way, Tom saying he's flying to Seattle
on a Delta flight.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
You're lying, Tommy, and Tom, give it a rest, buddy.
We love you, but give it a rest. Tom though,
as of late, is he's really becoming a businessman.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
I don't know if you saw this news for him,
but Tom just signed.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
A big deal with card Volts, and card Volts is
owned by Billy Costa's son.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Yeah, they're just signed a big deal. He invested, he
bought into half of it, which is like millions of dollars.
Speaker 1 (16:49):
Chris is like Chris Costa, Billy's son is a good
looking man.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
I just don't say that that has anything to do
with the story. But he's here all the time and
he is just the nicest, most personable guy. So there
were rumblings in the hallways that there was a chance
of this partnership with Tom Brady, and I remember asking Justin,
and Justin's like, yeah, Chris is like having literal meetings.
And I guess Chris had like a pinch me moment
(17:17):
when they had their first one, because he was like,
oh my God, like here I am presenting my company
to my idol, like the greatest quarterback of all time.
But Tom is all about Cardvall and he loves it
and he wants to be the face and he wants
her to be a ton of stores and.
Speaker 5 (17:32):
He's just people don't know what. Yes, that's good if
somebody else could, but it's is it trading cards?
Speaker 3 (17:39):
Yeah, it's basically like after the pandemic, like trading cards
popped back up where people were making videos about opening
cards and finding like all the super rare ones and
stuff like that, and then the whole business just blew
up again. So Cardvall is a store. I think they
have two locations. They have one that's in the at
the Garden.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
And the Garden one is right near that studio that
we have the big night.
Speaker 3 (18:01):
Yeah, that's what record trading. Cards are huge now. So
like obviously this is a business, you know, and they're
trying to make make it bigger. Tom bought into the
fact that they're changing the name of it from Cardvall
to Cardvall by Tom Brady, And I think the idea
believes it so much they want to open something like
five hundred stores the next ten years, like all over
like the country, which is crazy to think.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
And as a person who's even into cards right or
into you got to be kind of into sports at
some point, why not Tom Brady like for the Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:29):
Yeah, it makes him like what Tom, he never loses
you don't go with him?
Speaker 1 (18:35):
Who else?
Speaker 2 (18:36):
There's no one higher, Like you've reached the pinnacle there
and the fact that not only he believes in it
and wants to be a part of it is amazing.
So congrats to Chris, because Chris, he's in here a lot.
He's often you guys went to the same college no,
what we actually did.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
We played baseball together in the summers. We went to
different schools, but we played on the same summer took.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
It like you guys at softball together.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Baseball. It's baseball. But yeah, Chris, uh, I mean, I
don't know what his net worth is now, but in
the next couple of years, it's gonna be in the
multi millions for sure.
Speaker 4 (19:06):
Like you're doing your thanks.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
Yeah, I mean I literally just saw a huge.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Moment for Billy though.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
Yeah, if you're talking about it, like even you thinking
about your kids growing up and being like, yo, damn,
like you really thought that were one of the greatest.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Money. Billy's rich, right, but Chris is gonna be richer,
I know, which is which is what you kind of want.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Billy's probably like finally someone can take care of me.
Billy like a walking at m Yeah he is, No,
but I don't. Obviously Tom doing this with Delta and
handing out cheeseburgers at Logan, something is gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
I don't know what, but that's insane.
Speaker 2 (19:43):
Could you just imagine you're just hopping on your flight
to Seattle and Tom Brady's hating you a cheeseburger.
Speaker 14 (19:47):
The hell.
Speaker 3 (19:48):
I'm sure there's gonna be commercials of Tom, like, oh,
Delta Sky Miles.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:54):
Do you think that because he's starting all these businesses
and that's obviously like the next step for Tom.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Is he going to stop broadcasting.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
Or do I think he leans into that?
Speaker 3 (20:05):
Yeah, he has a tenured deal.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Yeah, he's going to lean into that. He's only going
to hopefully.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
By year eight nine we see it.
Speaker 7 (20:13):
Up.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
No, he's not better, has gotten better.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
The craziest thing is that he's the highest paid sports
announcer and he's not even closer.
Speaker 7 (20:21):
And I.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
Gave it the top.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
There's a commercial.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
I'm not trying to hate on Tom, but there's a
commercial that always comes on on YouTube whenever I'm watching it.
It's where he starts talking and then he like shuts down.
It's so for her. I don't I don't know if
it's for her, so whatever it is, but it's horrible.
Oh he's like robotic Tom.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
What do you feel He's like, whoa the way he
dropped He's so he's.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Not an actor, he's but like he's getting better at
the announcing.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
I will say, you guys, forget that. There was another
football star from back in the day that had the
same type of career. He was doing commercials, doing films
and all the stuff he was and all this stuff.
It turned out he murdered two oj Man.
Speaker 15 (21:04):
It was such a nice guy here, I say, oj
was better. Yeah, yeah, and the glove didn't fit by
the way, especially and the Jam and.
Speaker 7 (21:15):
Boy Show with DJ Foreign.
Speaker 8 (21:17):
And Santi When you need to know, we got you
three things you need to know on Boston's Number one
for hip hop and the best throwbags you haven't any
more five Friday.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
March twenty first, and Santi thinks overpaid, overpaid, overpaid, the
most money spent for a franchise in North American sports history.
The Celts Ownership Group has agreed to sell the franchise
to William Chisholm. Willie Boy, who's the co founder of
(21:51):
Symphony Technology Group, said, you know what, guys, I love
the Celts.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
I'm a massive fan. Here's six point one billion dollars.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
It'd be a different story if they own the building.
But they pay rent to the bruin, so that's another thing.
If they own the building, like, okay.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
That's interesting, fun fact. I did not know that makes a.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
Lot of sense. But it's like buying is no, it's
like coming across the home that you really want, so
you're gonna overpay for it because that's your dream home.
That's what this guy did.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
I don't think he overpaid.
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Well, at least you know who doesn't think they got overpaid.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
You just described my life.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
That's cool.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Yeah, they got a couple of billions sitting in their
bank account.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Yeah, I mean, listen, this guy's got money and he's local.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
He went to Dartmouth, he was a graduate of Dartmouth
and native of Georgetown. Played soccer there though, but a
massive fan. A sports family son also played soccer as well.
He lives in California because I believe that's where the
technology group is based out of. Has a home in Nantucket. Guys,
let me just if you're not a big person that's
(22:50):
into Nantucket. There's it's one of my favorites. But you
get off that ferry into Nantucket and it smells like money.
It's money everywhere. You're not in a house on Nantucket
if you don't have serious type of bread. Remember the
house that Dave Portnoy.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Bought, it was just millions and millions and millions.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Of dollars, so he has his house there in Nantucket.
Bill Belichick also has a home in Nantucket. He will
buy a Boston house, he says.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
I would hope.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
I just hope he keeps investing in the team because
the team is doing really well and the fans love him.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
So I wonder if this is disruptive at all for
the players or if they're just kind of like this
has I mean, it doesn't have much to do with them.
Speaker 1 (23:28):
It does, but it doesn't in a sense.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
It hasn't changed stuff as long as you like, as
long as he doesn't start trying to do cut back
some yeah, travel and hotels and all weird stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Well, in case anybody was wondering about Wick, Wick Rosbeck
will still remain as CEO and governor, which I think
is important for the guys to have that continuity, that's
a familiar face. But Wick is like, Hey, William Chisholm
and I we've been on the phone a ton, We've
talked for days at a time.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
We're good. Wick will do that for at least the
next three years.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Oh it's three years, Yeah for sure, all.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Right, brand new zick overnights DOJA Cat and Jack Harlow
teaming up on just Us.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
I've I can't stop seeing the music video now, okay, everywhere.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
One ig I have Yeah, chemistry on a bad screen.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
And I told you they are each other's type.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
They are each other's type. This goes back to twenty
twenty two. This guy manifested this whole thing because one
time in twenty twenty part of me, Jack Hallerw was
on IG Live with Doja Cat, and I think at
that time they didn't really know who each other were.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
At least Dojah didn't know who million who Jack was.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
And Jack was like, Yo, my fans tell me that
I'm your type because I kind of look like your boyfriend.
She goes, how tall are you? Are you five eight?
And she's like, nah, my boyfriend's five eight. How tall
are you? He goes, I'm six three. He's like yeah, yeah,
you guys are not the same. He's like, yeah, three
inches makes a big difference. He's written, he's risen, yeah,
laid on. It's trying to be like yo, you know.
He asked kind of question and then she ended up
(24:51):
saying her wig was falling off, so she got off
the live and when he got off the live she
was like, yo, I've had a crush on this woman
for months before she even jumped off. He was like,
I love you, and she did say, you know, he
tried to trap on. So he's manifested this thing. And
now today they dropping this song, right and let's listen
to a clip of it. We still got to do
a deep dive into the video. I don't know if
you know a couple of things, okay.
Speaker 1 (25:10):
And before we play the clip, I just also want
to say mad sexual bro like.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
But the whole video, the premise of the videos that
they're at a ball with friends or at a restaurant
with friends, each one of their own groups, and they're
pretty much just flirting with each other.
Speaker 1 (25:23):
From the They're like, we we wish it was just
us in here so we could do dirty things to each.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
Other, eyeing each other. They eyeing each other and sinua here.
Can y'all guess number one? I'm gonna give you one
dope cameos in this right. Number one was John Mayor.
He's in there as well. Can y'all guess what Boss
the Native is in the video? Celebrity actor case a
close market or whatever? No, close, very close. Come on, madam,
(25:48):
there you go.
Speaker 4 (25:50):
Video.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
He's chilling at the ball and he looked like he
was trying to make it to Doja and then Jack
slides in and they kind of have that Caemra saying,
he kind of takes his drinks and walks away. There's
mad video is amazing. But their chemistry on I'm looking
at it. I'm like, if y'all two were not together,
I understand why, y'all. I tell you that that this
is why they ran with that rollout of Oh, they
might be an item. Their chemistry is next level, Like
(26:12):
they really look like they rock with each other. If
they don't end up hooking up in sometime in life,
I'll be shocked because they look like they wanted to
be together.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Here's a clip from just us.
Speaker 11 (26:23):
I wish she was just sussing this, but they can't
trust us and this because I'm trying to put this high.
Let's keep it on a hush hushing this.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
I told her she's so pretty and she just blessed this.
Speaker 11 (26:35):
She clutched clutching my hand. I'm adjusting my hand. She
husky like mush mushrooms. You must be nuts. Rushless, slow
it down like Mcaronney. I know it sounds like Zachy Cody.
Speaker 1 (26:47):
This life sweet. I mean I care two hands on
my thro stabbing into my soul.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Lag up on that chair, hand on that on.
Speaker 10 (26:55):
Tell me that throw.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I don't play with my pens. Leave it on a good.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Tell he didn't see off the show.
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Never forget forever ago Doja was like doing She was
in like these weird chats. Yes, and she basically was like,
I only date white boys. I love white like that
that like put it this way. I know somebody that
dated her and she likes some tall and.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
See through what that's her type. But yeah, again the
chemistry on the on camera. You gotta go watch the
video post. Ye yeah, actually too, he's in the am,
I mean, going on something. I'm telling you. If they
didn't at some point later on in the night, like go,
if I heard that they went off to the night
and did some things, I would not be shot.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Jacqueline Denny's like, I don't care that you don't have.
Speaker 4 (27:44):
Dark too.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
You guys are gonna love this. And I'm hoping that
you haven't heard this rumor yet because I think that
the viewership on something like this would break Netflix streaming records.
Speaker 1 (27:59):
I do.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
There's a rumor that a certain somebody is being considered
for the next Netflix roast. Now, remember Tom was up
there and it got crazy, like it got real crazy,
but where you could tell Tom was like, okay.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
Enough with the Gizella Joy.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
He had an issue an apology to her after because
basically what I'm getting at is nothing was off the table.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
You could make fun of anything.
Speaker 12 (28:26):
Have you heard.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
The Entanglement.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
Watch material there.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Are? Well, by the way, it's rumored that his name
is high on the list because people obviously think that
not only would he allow the jokes, but that they're
never ending.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
I mean, Tupac we mentioned every six seconds because it takes.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
The bullets right out of the gun and he can
laugh about it all all the stuff. But what would
make it amazing if Chris Rock does a session on it,
which I don't think.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
He Glazier should just come and dressed as.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
G I Jans.
Speaker 5 (29:13):
Yeah, oh my god, it would be if that's how
they kind of bring back their friendships him loud.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
That would know, I'm saying, like that would really break ratings, Like.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
That would level it was a g I Jane joke.
Do you remember that this has.
Speaker 1 (29:29):
To walk out with security. No guys.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
I sometimes I'm embarrassed that, Like every once in a
while I think about it.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
Yeah, I think about it the biggest night.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
And by the way, for a woman who's in love
with a dead man, maybe we don't know how with
other people.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
August your son's friend.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
Damn, that would be amazing. I hope this happens.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Right?
Speaker 7 (31:59):
No?
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Really, I have rid of all of them, I could.
Speaker 4 (32:04):
Dylan is the bigger dude.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah, and I need to know how Dylan's story ends.
Does he end up? Does his any merry?
Speaker 3 (32:11):
Absolutely?
Speaker 5 (32:14):
But he was spoiler. He was quitting his job. Yeah,
I fall in love you cheating on me with me?
That was the best line I heard.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
I think the craziest line that Dyl. How could you
ever get rid of Dylan? When Dylan looked Helly in
the eye and goes Mark couldn't even tell Mark couldn't
even tell it. By the way, nobody if you don't
watch sever Like, what are they talking about Severnce? Somebody
wrote me yesterday and said, y'all talk about Severan's like
you're being paid?
Speaker 1 (32:40):
That is how much we love the show like they're
not giving us a dime. Absolutely, no one pays us here.
Speaker 4 (32:45):
I hated that. I hated it because I started watching it.
Speaker 1 (32:48):
I was like, how many times did I come in there?
Speaker 4 (32:49):
But please do it?
Speaker 5 (32:51):
So then luckily I was able to binge watch it,
and I think that helped because I just tied everything
together and I was like, oh, okay, this shows fire.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yeah, it's really good. So the finale was out tonight.

Speaker 10 (34:23):
Good morning, Happy Friday.
Speaker 12 (34:26):
I just have to add one thing, Ashley.
Speaker 8 (34:29):
It's really time that you get on TikTok place, because
there's so many tiktoks that.
Speaker 14 (34:33):
I feel like I need to share with you and you're.
Speaker 7 (34:36):
Just not there.
Speaker 10 (34:37):
I can't share it with Namzi because you won't get it.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Yeah, and four it's not there e though, so I
need somebody. Yeah, that's so, that's so true. I'll just
ignore it because what am I gonna do? Play with
you on TikTok and like the message is no, but
I think you're missing on on great content because on
TikTok there is people I found an ability to report things.
It's not credible, but it's entertaining.
Speaker 1 (34:57):
So no listen. And you don't even know how many
times a day.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
By the way, I love this girl because I'm sure
whatever she needs to send me is I would love
how many times a day. Even my own friends are like,
can you please get on TikTok. Here's the thing for me, guys.
I can't add anything to my plate right now. I'm
on Instagram enough and if I add that, it'll it'll just.
Speaker 1 (35:18):
Be crazy land.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
But if there is a video from the TikTok that
you think that I can see or need to know about,
a DM, me at Ashley Feldman two e's on the
Ashley cause there are there are a lot of things
that get sent to me that are from the TikTok.
And here's a little little bit of inside info for
you guys.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
I actually have a TikTok.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
Yeah, I don't use it, and my screen name is
like Ashley Feldman six four five two five nine, oh,
because somebody it's some crazy numbers at the end of it.
But I have it because Santi would send me so
many that it was pissing me off because.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
It'll be like, do you want to watch on the app?
So I finally just got one.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
Why don't you have your full name, like your real name?
I tried, Oh some idiot like some has it?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
So I so it's like Ashley Felmin six for five
nine seven underscore.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
And he Ashley Joyce is out there actually.
Speaker 6 (36:04):
For the one.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
But there are christ are Okay?
Speaker 7 (36:12):
I know?
Speaker 2 (36:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Can I get like that when I'm hungry? That was?
That was like where's where are we headed?
Speaker 7 (36:27):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (36:27):
To hell?
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Okay, Well, let me talk to Ralph real quick because
I feel like he would maybe hang up if I
don't get to him.
Speaker 1 (36:35):
Ralph, good morning, Yes, good morning. So foreign tells me.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
Quote, you found out that aliens are not here to
harm us, which is an absolute positive for everybody. But
do tell me how you found out about the aliens
are here to just be peaceful with us.
Speaker 14 (36:55):
Well, I found out a guy that channels him. He
channels his features and he has an audience of people
that ask questions about everything everything from relationships to dreams
and one thing he did say about any time you
(37:16):
think you're not thinking in the past, you're thinking into
another reality, because he was saying, I get this right, yeah,
please that like say, for example, you had an incident
like yesterday, and then you think about it over and over.
(37:40):
What you're doing is because anger only lasts fifteen seconds.
You're going into judgment. Because when you constantly think over
and over about something that happened back that was bad,
you're going into judgment. And then in truth, you're really
going into another reality.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Where do okay? And where do the aliens come into play?
Speaker 9 (38:04):
Here?
Speaker 12 (38:05):
Now?
Speaker 14 (38:05):
The aliens? The aliens are here because from what I've
heard is that our DNA in I'm trying to think
of how to say this right there where like their ancestors,
because our DNA has been altered.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
Got it? And did he mention about the res pieces?
Is that what they eat?
Speaker 14 (38:32):
No, I didn't hear about You didn't care.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
About that, okay, because the friendly one is. But that's
just what I heard from Stevens.
Speaker 14 (38:41):
There's gonna be contact, but not everybody's gonna know the
contact because what he's been telling us is to you
know that people like to follow people yep, he says,
follow you up excitement with no expectations on that result.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Who is he?
Speaker 2 (39:05):
This is?
Speaker 14 (39:05):
This is a guy I listened to. His name is
bishah b A s h Ar and he's his real
name is Stale. I can but he teased, I found
a mind like he's all on YouTube. A lot of
people some people that they get rettle skeptical. They don't
want to believe in that.
Speaker 1 (39:23):
But that I heard, No I can't believe. But people
wouldn't believe him.
Speaker 14 (39:32):
Yeah, well, because people get Here's another thing. He says,
watch your definitions because a lot of people that get
stuck in life because of their definitions. He said, think
of it as a piano out of tune and and
it doesn't sound right. You have somebody come in and
you they adjust the sound. He said, life everything is definitions.
(39:58):
When you look around, everything is named.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Does he do recreational drugs?
Speaker 3 (40:05):
No, there's no need for that, Okay, enlightened.
Speaker 14 (40:09):
He just said something about weed because you know, people
like to smoke it all the time, and he was
saying that what people need to do because the plant
itself allows us to get into a certain state, and
then our job is to focus on that state that
(40:30):
we're in and do it our own selves without smoking it.
That was the purpose of weed, But we end up
believing that we can't do or getting a certain state
of mind, so we end up smoking it.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
Ralph, where are you right now?
Speaker 9 (40:47):
Like?
Speaker 14 (40:47):
Currently, I'm in what's the mask? But I can get
ready ahead to work.
Speaker 1 (40:53):
Are you in the Who's who's chatting it up in
the background?
Speaker 14 (40:57):
Oh that's I'm in the in my apartment complex. I'm
in the hallway.
Speaker 1 (41:02):
Oh you're in the hallway. Okay, okay, got it.
Speaker 10 (41:03):
Guy.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
What do you do for work.
Speaker 14 (41:06):
Now? I work at this place called Metamagnetics.
Speaker 3 (41:12):
Sounds responsible?
Speaker 2 (41:13):
Yeah, all right, Ralph, Well listen, this was we went
somewhere with this. We were on a journey, that's for sure.
You know. I had this guy up on on Instagram
bashar talks B A S H A R t o
ks if anybody wants to check them out. A lot
of follows, A lot of follows here, two hundred and
twenty six thousand ralphs one of them. All right, Ralph,
(41:36):
if you could just tell everybody, if anybody comes across
an alien today, how should they should they be receptive?
Speaker 14 (41:42):
Well? The first thing with aliens, Like aliens frequency is
a lot higher than ours. So that's what people would
end up going into shock because what happens is your
energy levels rise and then it pulls up all the
stuff that you're holding non to that's negative. Yeah, and
if you don't let that go, you're going to shop
(42:02):
so they can't come here to meet us. Otherwise half
the world or most of the world, we're going to shop.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
Yes, I agree on that. All right, Ralph, Well one
more thing before I let you go. Do you think
Karen reidid it?
Speaker 7 (42:16):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (42:17):
Okay, thanks for the call. Yeah, yeah, from a few
words from please do you.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
Give me two seconds head?
Speaker 12 (42:27):
That's what physical reality is, a dream you are having
in spirit that you're no longer in spirit.
Speaker 3 (42:35):
You know what's crazy, Ralph?
Speaker 12 (42:38):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
I've heard a lot of these theories before, but their
theories in his case, Ralph believes that their actual fact,
and that's what you.
Speaker 4 (42:45):
Start going in the path.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Actually for zero point two five had me where he
was like when you because I'm a rethinker, right, like
I think out my scenarios over and over and like,
and he's trying to say that that's you in like
a different dimension, Like it's maybe happening to you a
different dimension you're rethinking maybe, by the way, is pissed.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
That Ralph was the one trying to explain what the
hell he was saying. Ralph though he did his best,
but that.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
Was and Bshark just a guy out there who's getting
all this information and he's creating like theories behind him
putting out on TikTok, but Ralph is believing that they're
actually fact.
Speaker 5 (43:18):
We don't know is the thing because does this thing
on YouTube where he's he's kind of channeling and and yeah,
he talks with his eyes closed the whole time.
Speaker 3 (43:26):
Yeah, but like I could do that too, you know.
Speaker 5 (43:29):
Yeah, so the dream is going to be the dream,
and when you wake up for the dream, it's going
to be a reality of what you thought was a dream,
which is kind of like he's meditating. He goes into this,
his body shakes a little bit and then speaking, it's
like the aliens are talking through Yeah sick.
Speaker 3 (43:46):
Now there's people out there who find comfort in that,
and then Ralph is one of them, which is fine, No, that's.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Totally fine, but.
Speaker 4 (43:54):
Is crazy But.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
Who's crazy?
Speaker 3 (44:00):
For sure?
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Okay, do you believe in Bigfoot?
Speaker 7 (44:03):
I do.
Speaker 1 (44:05):
And Hi everybody, good morning. It's Ashley and the jam
In Morning Show. We're checking in Onya. How are you?
What's going on? Dominic or Dominique?
Speaker 14 (44:15):
Dominic?
Speaker 1 (44:15):
Dominick is in Lynn Dominic.
Speaker 2 (44:18):
It's funny because I've been seeing a lot of people
kind of feel the same way as you. I think
I don't know how well, let me ask you this
first before we get into this, because you want to
talk about the documentary about Karen Reid that's out on
Max right now, brought to everybody from the ID Channel.
Were you invested in this case prior to hearing about
(44:39):
it on our show?
Speaker 4 (44:41):
I was, okay, So I've seen it when it first
sat on the news, okay.
Speaker 14 (44:46):
And then I did listen to the show. I listened
when neckro Auto came on, okay, and I was like,
Karen didn't do it?
Speaker 4 (44:55):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
So now you've watched this documentary on Max like most
of us have, and where does dominic Inlinn lie?
Speaker 4 (45:03):
Now?
Speaker 14 (45:05):
So I'm really on the on the fence and I
believe Karen knows more than what she plaimed.
Speaker 1 (45:12):
Interesting, what what from the doc makes you feel that way?
Speaker 6 (45:15):
Specifically, just her demeanor and she the way that she
refers to John. Now if it was my spouse or
my partner or as such, but I'm the documentary.
Speaker 16 (45:29):
I just feel like she referred to him as the
Boston cop that I'm being accused.
Speaker 14 (45:35):
Of killing, and it was really.
Speaker 9 (45:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (45:41):
She never said like, oh, my boyfriend or my man.
She was like, I'm being accused of killing the Boston cop.
Speaker 2 (45:48):
You know, there wasn't a time period. They didn't ask
her the question, but they didn't really say to her
like were you in love? Did you plan on having
a life with this man? Did you guys talk about
having a right We never really got any sense of
where their relationship was at or headed that type of
thing exactly.
Speaker 16 (46:08):
And everybody else who spoke about John, if you notice
they had tears in their eyes, they're fighting back in motion.
The recounts of the night for her, not one single
chair came out of her eye during that Maybe it
was you know, when everything was fresh. But if he
meant anything to you like he did to those other people,
I'm assuming you'd be emotional recapping that night.
Speaker 2 (46:31):
I get that you had fight not to play devil's advocate, though,
whether someone cries or not doesn't make them a killer.
Speaker 1 (46:38):
That's what somebody would say, you know what I mean.
Speaker 8 (46:43):
She did and.
Speaker 4 (46:45):
I will give you guys that question. It opens up.
Speaker 1 (46:47):
With them saying did you hit John with the car?
Speaker 2 (46:50):
And she like giggles and she says, well, if I
look up, you'll say something if I look down. I
don't even like answering that question because people judge the way.
I say, well, yeah, we're judging you right now because
you're smiling. You know.
Speaker 1 (47:01):
It's a weird.
Speaker 14 (47:02):
She cares more about her appearance than she cares about
the incident.
Speaker 2 (47:07):
In my opinion, that was another big well, that was
a big debate on social media because when they arrested
her for the second time and told her that the
charges had changed and that she could really be looking
at life, she didn't. She didn't like what she had
on and she wanted to change because she didn't want
to be in that outfit in the nightly news.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
And there was a great debate on that.
Speaker 16 (47:25):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (47:26):
There was even a clip where she's showing off the
closet and she's like, oh, these are all my dresses.
She said something like, if I if I had to
own it, was something about her clothes and she's like
something and I now own them all, or because I
have to dress up to go to she talks about
her appearance, Yeah a lot.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
Yeah, well, Dominic, I don't think you're alone, which is why,
you know, I think it's even more important that we
do have somebody on to kind of talk about this
other side. That documentary did a great job of saying like, hey,
here are the people that support Karen, and here's why.
And then here's the other people who think that she
like you're saying no more, and here's why they think that.
Speaker 1 (48:03):
So we are going to be joined by somebody very
close to this in just about a half an hour.
Speaker 2 (48:08):
I have yet to say who it is, because I
think she should explain who she is and why she's
so close to it and why she believes what she believes.
But listen, the bottom line is there is another side
to this. I think even in the doc they say
it multiple times.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
This is a classic quote. Who done it?
Speaker 3 (48:25):
And people?
Speaker 1 (48:26):
People invest in this, they love it.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
If we were anywhere else in the world, I would
say to you, guys, I have both sides from this case,
and people would be drooling. Oh I want to hear
both sides. That's why people watch the ID channel in
these type of documentaries.
Speaker 1 (48:37):
But it's here in New England. This is so close
to home.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
Even the fact that I'm telling and saying that we
have someone else coming on, I'm getting nasty messages and
it's like.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
Guys, this is crazy.
Speaker 1 (48:48):
All I'm saying is we're having someone on that's going
to tell another side to it.
Speaker 15 (48:51):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (48:53):
Just like we've there's money and just like we've had
Nick RockA on a ton All right, Tominic, hopefully you
will be able to listen to at a thirty.
Speaker 14 (49:01):
Hey, I will thank you very much. I appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
I haven't seen the dock yet. I haven't seen the
doc yet, but I feel like as of late, some
of the tones have been changing his opinions on her,
and I don't think her pr focus has been a
good thing for her, what.
Speaker 4 (49:17):
You mean, like going out in public doing all.
Speaker 3 (49:18):
These interviews and doing like these docs and all that stuff. Yeah,
I don't think it's it's it's it's helping her. And
this is just from somebody who's been kind of listening.
It's a strategy though, and I understand and like all like,
I absolutely do. But I feel like I'm feeling a
change now, something.
Speaker 4 (49:35):
That they will notice you.
Speaker 5 (49:36):
And I think you're gonna say when you when you
do watch it again, not saying that because you're smiling,
you're guilty. But she smiles a lot, and she's very
I don't want to say comfortable. But it's like he said,
she's not, like, you know, heartbroken. I never get that
sense from her. You get what I'm saying again saying,
but she's been through it for so many years, she's
probably immune to all these trials, which could be the
(49:58):
case too exactly. So she's now like so soaked into
this thing that it's not fresh for her.
Speaker 4 (50:03):
But she smiles a lot.
Speaker 2 (50:04):
If you are somebody that has texted me, has sent
me a message pissed off that we're going to have
somebody from the other side on the show in just
about a half an hour, I'm gonna play this clip
for you because this this is a constant in the
dock and it stands out to me.
Speaker 1 (50:21):
Now magazine wants to feature me, she was the happiest
friend in America.
Speaker 4 (50:25):
You're either pro Karen Read or you are pro police.
Speaker 12 (50:30):
It's become a Civil War.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
There's two sides to it. We've only had the one
side on. We're going to have the other side on
in thirty minutes.
Speaker 7 (50:38):
Good Morning, Ashley and the Jamin morri Show, Foreign and
Sauntilyn You need to know No, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 1 (50:50):
She haven't any more five Friday, March twenty first.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
It was the most paid for for a team franchise
in North They're in America sports history, which is crazy,
second to only the Washington Commanders at six point oh
five billion dollars.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
The Celts are sold to William Chisholm for a cool
six point one billion with a B dollars.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
This was a situation where Wick throw out a number
and the guy was like sure, and what was like, really,
your buyers could have been?
Speaker 5 (51:24):
I mean imagine being a diehard fan of the Celtics
and being able to say I always yes, so cool, which.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
I understand, But if you're a business meaning you'll be like, listen,
don't want to really like overpay if I don't.
Speaker 5 (51:35):
Have to, I feel you because everybody's out here buying
soccer teams lately and well, they don't give a damn
about those things. They probably don't even know how to
play soccer. God really like loves the Celtics. He's like, what,
I'm going to own them?
Speaker 4 (51:46):
That's fine.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
Now on that point, the bigger soccer club in the
world is worth six point six billion, and that would
probably probably sell for about seven or eight.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
To Florren's point, every article that I've read about him
so far actually wrote it down to repeat it because
they say that he has an encyclopedia.
Speaker 1 (52:01):
Like knowledge of the team.
Speaker 3 (52:03):
That's how that's why he bought it.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
Yep, he loves them, so he probably would have been like,
for me to be able to hold this thing, say
I am the owner of the Celtics, he.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
Might have paid a little bit more than he should have.
Speaker 3 (52:13):
And listen, at some point he could sell a team
for twenty billion and he'll make his money back.
Speaker 5 (52:17):
So it's fine, bro, Bro, what kind of flex is
it if the team's worth three billion and you said,
you know what, throwing another three just like.
Speaker 1 (52:24):
Your kids, just to solidify this deal and make it faster.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Since Wick was mentioned, Wick will still remain as CEO
and governor of the Celts, He said for a minimum
of three years.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
He's not going anywhere.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Him and William have been on the phone multiple times
for days at a time, and he said it's great,
like he's making it seem like every experience now good.
Speaker 3 (52:41):
But at the end of the day, Wicked now has
a boss. Yeah, he has a report.
Speaker 1 (52:45):
That's that part is a very true.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
Do they think the social media game is on fire?
Don't change your damn thing. We love what the Celtics
are doing right now.
Speaker 2 (52:54):
William Chrishen by the by the way, is the managing
director and co founder of Symphony Technology Group, which is
based out of californ However, he does have a home
here in Nantucket and he does plan on buying a
home in Boston, obviously, because.
Speaker 1 (53:08):
He is now the owner of the Celts.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
All Right, if you are a resident of Ireland and
you listen to this show, Hi, doubtful, but Hi, you've
probably seen the headlines. By now, Connor McGregor has announced
his bid to become Ireland's next president. This man fell off,
like I'm just and I'm not just talking about his
fighting career, his personal life. I mean, he cheats on
(53:32):
his wife all the time. He's constantly apologizing. He's constantly
in court. It's sad because there was a Connor McGregor
height where he was captivating. I mean, he walked into
an arena and that's why he was getting paid the
big bucks, because beyond the fighting he was he was
this entity like, he was this character and he had
he was so charismatic and every time he spoke, You're like,
(53:54):
oh my god, what's he going to say?
Speaker 1 (53:55):
What's your favorite line?
Speaker 9 (53:56):
Son?
Speaker 3 (53:57):
Your wife was in the DMol after he had lost.
Speaker 2 (54:08):
Yeah, and and and now the fact that he thinks
people the people of Ireland will vote for him for
president is crazy. He said, vote McGregor and have your
voice heard, Like, are you gonna hear my voice? Or
are you going to be doing so much cocaine that
you're too busy to care.
Speaker 1 (54:22):
About what I think?
Speaker 3 (54:23):
But you're gonna, I mean, you gotta admit that campaign
is going to be really like entertaining in front. Absolutely,
I'm going to Ireland in August and I hope for
god that the campaign is happening. Then please, oh my.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
God, that would be amazing, that would be amazing. He
has your vote, Mean, let me know about the cocaine,
all right, and lastly, we talked about this earlier in
the weekend. I told you I didn't care what Kanye said. Overnight,
I was taking a break because I just can't do
it anymore. But one thing that Kanye had tweeted out
(54:54):
we discussed for And did you end up ever looking
it up what he had said about jay Z and
Beyonce's kids, Yes, I did. Okay, there's no coming back
from that. And like I had said, there was, there
was that weird rumor circulating. And again, what's going on
with jay and Beyonce's kids is none of our business.
If that's something that they want to talk about, that's
on them. But this happened yesterday and now it has
(55:18):
people talking because Mama Noles Tina Knowles said on IG
she said, corny joke time. It's hard to remain positive
and classy in ignorance and evil.
Speaker 1 (55:30):
And this was a little jokey joke, she dropped.
Speaker 12 (55:32):
We got a quarney joke.
Speaker 3 (55:33):
You want to hear what happens when a snowman throws
a tangent?
Speaker 14 (55:39):
He has a meltdown?
Speaker 4 (55:42):
Youah, no best way?
Speaker 2 (55:45):
Yeah, but people obviously think that's to Kanye. She went
on to say, but I know that no weapon formed
against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is
not mine but the lords. I know that God has
got this.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
So I mean, listen, she might as well have written
dear Kanye, because what else she.
Speaker 3 (55:59):
Talks about this whole thing is that like, seemingly he
has outed what's going on with Jay and Beyonce where
they're a kid, and it's almost like, in a roundabout way,
has confirmed it, which should have been up to them,
and they decide how they want to come out with that,
if they even do, and like that's the part that
really sucks.
Speaker 1 (56:12):
Yeah, he was.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
He was tweeting a little bit yesterday too, But really
the latest is what I told you yesterday that some
family members or friends showed up to his hotel room
and said, hey, we want to take you to a retreat.
He said, what are the esthetics of this retreat? And
they said, we want to take you to hospital. Yeah,
like we want to we want to check you in somewhere.
You need to go to rehab.
Speaker 1 (56:29):
All right.
Speaker 2 (56:30):
The three things need to know for Friday, March twenty. First,
Wutsang Clan are going to be the garden for the
last time, and have you heard me say it again?
Six one, seven, nine, three one four five Collar twenty five.
We are hooking you up with two tickets to go
check out the Wu Tang Clan at the Garden. July eleventh.
Good luck, Hi, everybody, Good morning. It's actually the Jam
in the Morning show, Domin Lynn our winner right there,
(56:51):
DJ Pop Dog, We'll do it again, Pop hooking you
up with tickets to go see j Balvin in the
three pm hour. All right.
Speaker 1 (56:58):
We talked about it a little bit during the check in.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
This Karen Reid documentary that is out on Max right
now has everybody talking and one of the main narratives
they push is that there are two massively different sides
to this. There are the free Karen Reid supporters, which
we know are a lot of people that listen to
this show. We have Nick rock on on almost weekly
now to kind of update us on what's going on
in the courtroom, and we're super appreciative of it. He
(57:23):
knows this is happening. But there is another side to it,
and I think that that's the beauty of this show.
You know, the three of us are very opinionated, and
we know there are other opinions out there, and we're
always always giving the phone lines, always telling you leave talkbacks,
message us with your thoughts. So you know, every time
I've had Nick on, I've opened up the phone lines
(57:44):
and said, if you think something different, if you want
to debate Nick, if you have something else to say,
please call.
Speaker 1 (57:49):
Nobody ever does. And it just so happened that I was.
Speaker 2 (57:54):
Able to kind of have a conversation with somebody on
the other side and they said, listen, we do want
to come on, like we do have something to say,
and I said.
Speaker 1 (58:03):
I'll listen, but I have some questions. Who is she?
How is she connected to all of this? She's going
to tell you for herself.
Speaker 2 (58:10):
Next we are going to have somebody who does believe
Karen Reid killed John O'Keeffe, Dashly.
Speaker 4 (58:16):
And The Morning Show with d J.
Speaker 7 (58:18):
Feign It's saus A Good Morning, Bustin's.
Speaker 13 (58:21):
Number one for hip hop jam in ninety four or five.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
Hi, everybody, good morning, Sashing the gym in Morning Show.
Speaker 2 (58:30):
I love this show, by the way, and we'll say that,
and what I love about this show is that the
three of us are super opinionated, but always always open
to hearing the other side of Honestly, anything that we're
talking about, it happens often.
Speaker 3 (58:45):
I mean, vaccines was the first one. I love vaccines, you.
Speaker 1 (58:48):
Know what I mean, And I absolutely hate that for
myself and my children. Yeah, but that's a good that
was a good example.
Speaker 3 (58:56):
And we're all accepting.
Speaker 1 (58:57):
Great, we're fine, you're still my friends.
Speaker 2 (59:00):
You know, I've played this clip and I'm gonna play
it again because everybody is talking about this documentary right
now on Max that you know, it was an ID
channel doc.
Speaker 1 (59:09):
It's on Max and they repeat this this narrative over
and over. The magazine wants to feature me.
Speaker 14 (59:20):
She was the happiest murder to fund it.
Speaker 1 (59:22):
In America, you're either pro Karen Read.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
Or you a pro police.
Speaker 12 (59:28):
It's become a civil war.
Speaker 2 (59:31):
You're either pro Karen Reid or you're pro police. There
has always been two different sides to this. And when
we first started talking about this case, you know, our
interviews with Nick Rocco happened.
Speaker 1 (59:45):
And we're lucky because Nick is in the courtroom.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
You know, he has been a free Karen Read supporter
for for a long time, and anytime we had him on,
I always said, is there anybody else from the other side?
Speaker 1 (59:59):
That can come on and talk, and no one ever called.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
And I think then we started doing the Nick interviews
weekly and I think it got to the point where
the other side was like, f you, Ashley, We're not calling.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Totally fine.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
I ended up having a conversation with somebody who you know,
was not only in the courtroom, but took the stand,
and she did tell me. She said, it is hard
to listen to your show, you know, because you do
only tell one side. And I said, oh no, no,
I would love to tell the other side, to have
the other side told to us how people feel, but
no one ever calls. And she said, I'll get somebody
(01:00:31):
to call. And that is why we are joined by
Jackie Dougal. This morning, Jackie and I have been texting
back and forth. I text Jackie an hour ago, I said, Jackie,
are you good? And I asked that because just me
saying that we're having somebody on from the other side,
I got immediate nasty messages. So I can't imagine what
it is to be Jackie Dougal and all this, And
(01:00:52):
I obviously will ask you about that. But first and foremost,
for everybody listening, who are you Jackie?
Speaker 9 (01:00:59):
Hi?
Speaker 12 (01:01:00):
I'm Jackie. I was friends with John and actually friends
with Karen as well when they dated. My husband and John,
we're pretty pretty close friends. And I just want to
thank you guys first of all for the opportunity to
come on and allowing me to give you guys a
little insight into who John was and the position of
(01:01:22):
myself and his family and friends. Yeah, I really appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
And I think let's start there, because so many times
when we talk about this case, John isn't even mentioned, Jackie, Like,
I mean, we'll talk for fifteen minutes about just amongst
the three of us, and John never gets mentioned. I think,
you know, something everybody can agree on, no matter where
you're at, is that John kind of got lost in
this tell us about John and you know, your friendship
(01:01:46):
and the time you guys spent.
Speaker 12 (01:01:49):
Yeah, absolutely for sure. And that's how we have felt,
you know, and that's why we really didn't want to
go on anything, you know, before the first trial or
during the first trial. We wanted to keep our sights
on our priority, which was to support John and his
family in this you know, pursuit of justice. And uh,
you know, John was a great guy, actually knew him
(01:02:11):
before my husband, just like in social settings and selfie.
And the day I met my husband, he was with
John and a small group of friends. And since then,
you know, we had formed this relationship to you know,
as most people know, he took on his niece and
nephew after his sister and his sister's husband passed pretty
(01:02:33):
tragically close you know, close in time, and he took
those kids on like his own and and his life changed.
And you know, my husband and I had kids ourselves,
and we thought, you know, gon living close by would
be you know, somebody we would be friends with forever,
grow together and you know, have our kids play together.
(01:02:57):
And you know there'd be times where John would tell
Carl to leave his trunk open, you know, leave your
car open. I have some stuff. You know. His nephew
was a little older than our kids, and you know
we'd get hot wheels and many you know, many trampolines
and all these old sports, you know, sporting goods that
(01:03:21):
we could hand me down.
Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
You know.
Speaker 12 (01:03:22):
He was just that kind of guy. He's just loyal, trustworthy, selfless.
He was. Yeah, he loved to see people. He was
so social and his character. He cracked jokes and you'd
always laugh and always have fun when he was around.
Even as walk, you know, he had a little bounce
(01:03:44):
to his step that you could see from a mile
Away'd say, do.
Speaker 1 (01:03:47):
You remember the day that he told you, Hey, I'm
I'm dating this girl named Karen.
Speaker 12 (01:03:55):
I don't think so. I think, you know, he told Carl,
probably my husband network. They worked in the same station,
and they they they started dating, you know, when COVID
was starting that spring, and that was kind of like
just a weird time we had them. I do remember
the first time I met her. They came to our
house and we sat in the backyard on the deck,
(01:04:15):
you know, yeah, the summer, early summer COVID. And you know,
I had met John's longtime girlfriend before she was at
our wedding, and I was in the midst of having children,
so I, you know, really didn't get the opportunity to
become friends with her. And I tried to make it
a point to do that with Karen and to really like,
if this is what John wants. We wanted to see
(01:04:37):
him happy and have somebody to spend his life with with,
you know, And and I tried to make an effort there,
and I do you know, I would have considered her
a friend up until you know, three years three plus
years ago, we we went out separately. We went out
with one of my best friends. We introduced each other,
we went out with three of us. She came to,
(01:05:00):
you know, a girl of dinner for my birthday the
summer before, and I consider her a friend. I did
consider her.
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
A friend after everything happened.
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
Did you still, like initially, try to keep that friendship
or did you right away feel like.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
She had some part in this?
Speaker 12 (01:05:24):
Initially but when we first found out, my husband frowned out. First.
He called Karen before he even told me, and she
didn't answer. I called her, I texted her something to
the effect of, I love you, please call me. And
I had never heard from her again to this day,
to this day. Yes, she the last time I saw
(01:05:48):
her before that, you know, we had a little Christmas gathering.
She put my kids to bed with you know, we
said prayers, we read books, we sang songs, you know,
and that's something that I felt was like very personal.
And yeah, she expressed me what a good mother I
was and for her, and you know that kind of
like put me off initially. I do understand that her
(01:06:10):
phone was taken away. But you know the next time
we've even made icon, she made a face of me.
You know, you know, it's just these little things, but
that those are the things combined with like the multitude
of hard physical evidence that that kind of like kind
of sway me in that position. That's just the extras.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
Okay, well, let's get into that, because I told you
I was gonna, you know, ask you these questions. There
there's there's the free Karen readers that obviously believe that
they also have facts to prove that Karen didn't do it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
Why if you could, you know, it doesn't have to
be three too, And.
Speaker 2 (01:06:48):
Why do you believe without a doubt that Karen Reid
had something to do with the death of John o'keef
that night.
Speaker 12 (01:06:56):
So there are the hard physical evidence that things that
cannot change. Right, There's the fact that in these things,
combined the fact that they were having arguments, she was
texting somebody else. They did have some tumultuous times in
their relationship. John's niece had testified that he said she
(01:07:19):
overheard him tell her that the relationship was over and
she refused to leave. Just a week, week or two prior,
you know, and then you go to that night, she
was intoxicated, She had nine drinks on camera. She admitted
that they were arguing on the way there. In one
of the interviews, her car did reverse at twenty four
(01:07:40):
miles an hour and the steering wheel is jostled. That's
part of her car data, you know, data. Fact. She
was the last person to see him alive. No one
in the house ever testified under oath that they saw
him enter. And the first person to find him he repeated, repeated, repeated,
(01:08:01):
I hit him, and this is my fault. At the scene,
multiple you know, first responders, and and then he gets
to the tail light pieces. Tail light was found in
his shirt. Tail Light pieces that all fit together and
fit in her housing of her car were found at
the scene. John's hair was found on her car. John's
(01:08:24):
DNA was found on tail light pieces. And then John's
phone data never ever puts him walking to the front door,
walking to the side door. His cell phone data shows
that his phone never moves from the spot of the
flagpole where he was found after twelve thirty one ish,
(01:08:47):
which is you know, there's not even there's actually there's
a time frame where his you know, cell phone must
have lost a little bit of service in the range
of where the cell phone could have been for two
seconds kind of hit the edge of the house, so
he would have had the teleport into the house for
(01:09:08):
two seconds in teleport exactly that spot for him to
even step foot in the house based on his cell
phone data.
Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
I have to ask this because on the other side,
there's obviously this notion that everybody in that house came
together and they decided that they were going to you know,
push that to them, push the narrative that he died outside.
(01:09:39):
But in reality, to the other side, he died inside
with some sort of physical altercation, maybe attacked by the dog.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
All of these things.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
When I say that, I'm talking about the Alberts, I'm
talking about you know, the Google search, all those things.
Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
What is your relationship to them?
Speaker 2 (01:09:54):
Do you know anybody and had you spent any time
with anybody that was inside thirty four fair View that night.
Speaker 12 (01:10:02):
I never knew a single person, a single investigator, a
single witness. I didn't know anyone except for John and Karen, Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
And I just think that's an important part, right because
then people will try to spin it that you know
them and you're trying to help them. So I want
to make sure that it's clear that you did not
know anybody.
Speaker 12 (01:10:22):
Yeah, yeah, and you know when it first happened, obviously
my husband is a detective. We sit down, we were
talking about what could have happened, you know, like when
when we didn't know specifics yet, like what could have happened?
You know, we went through every single possibility.
Speaker 5 (01:10:39):
Well, let's do that.
Speaker 1 (01:10:40):
Let's go through Let's go through some of the possibilities.
Speaker 2 (01:10:43):
Let let's let's start with the number one thing, because
you see people wearing t shirts that said it, that's
say it has long to Die in the cold cold.
How do you explain Jennifer McCabe's Google search of has
long to Die in the cold?
Speaker 12 (01:10:59):
So I would say she searched that right at six
twenty three and six twenty four in the morning. The
Commonwealth of State had two really credible witnesses just to
hide and Ian Whiffen and Ian Wiffin, who is a
senior digital intelligence expert for the company that extracts the data.
(01:11:19):
So he builds, you know that software to extract the data.
He says, Listen, you open a tab on your Safari right,
you open a tab and this is what happened in
this case. She opens a tab at two twenty seven
books at her daughter's basketball schedule for the next day
(01:11:40):
or something to that effect, which you know they are
not disputing. Yeah, she searched for a basketball at twenty seven.
Then you know, you go back to that same tab
in the morning and on that data, you know when
when they pulled that data, the tab opening has a
has a time stamp. And then also when you go
(01:12:03):
back into that same tat that you opened, that also
has another time stamp, which you know they both confirmed
six twenty three unequivocally six twenty three, six twenty four
in the morning goes you know how long dying cold
was searched at the behest of Karen. She had asked
(01:12:24):
Jen to do that, and I can you know there
was another firefighter paramedic who testified who had taken her
once she was sectioned, taken her in an ambulance back
to the Good Samaritan Hospital. His name was Dan Whitley,
I believe, and she had asked him, how can you
(01:12:45):
can you tell me how long it takes to die
from the cold. He testified to that, so it's not
unreasonable to think that she asked to Google that, you know,
to Jen moments prior.
Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
I think.
Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
The images of his body, and I even I know
how close you were to him, so I feel even
weird asking you about this. But uh, the images of
his dead body. There are these what looked to a
lot of people as dog scratch marks on his arm.
The defense had a I believe she was an er doctor,
(01:13:25):
but she essentially has seen plenty of dog attacks in
her time, and she is saying that those injuries on
his arm, without a doubt in her mind, are from
an animal from Chloe.
Speaker 12 (01:13:40):
Yeah, doctor Russell was an er doctor. I think she
did some work with like canine trained kninees as well.
And you know the dog Chloe they had. So when
you get into this, you say they swabbed once this
once this conspiracy theory had come out, they swabbed his shirt,
(01:14:04):
sent it to UC Berkeley. There was zero DNA on
his shirt where the where the uh you know, cares
and his shirt on the right arm were there was
a pig DNA they said, possibly from bacon or something
like that, but zero DNA from a dog. So if
you scratch or bite you know, you would come across
(01:14:25):
something there and they had also, uh, the Commonwealth recently
has taken imprint. They did find the dog was rehome
to Vermont, you know, they they took imprints of the teeth.
And the defense was able and had the opportunity to
go see the dog, you know, doctor Russell was had
(01:14:45):
the opportunity to you know, come see the dogs, you know,
look at the imprints, and she didn't want to do that.
She was not interested, which makes no sense. You know,
if you if you really want to know what happened,
you would you would really, you know, try and get
all the information that you could.
Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Listen, we don't have a ton more time, but I
have two more things, and this one, this one is
gonna stand out because I know everybody's thinking it. I
don't even know whatever explanation you could give, I would ever,
like truly believe in my soul because I just believe
that the Canton police watched this so much so that
(01:15:26):
it does create reasonable doubt because we have cops throwing
away cell phones. We have them, you know what seems
to be like changing the way things images look on
cameras and such. I'm sure you get this all the
time when people say that to you, when they say,
but how do you explain all of these weird things
that the Canton police did?
Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
Do you think that the Canton Police did a really
bad job of investigating this at the time.
Speaker 12 (01:15:52):
Listen, I think that it was not a perfect investigation.
It was they were ill equipped. I mean, it's a
deep town. They hadn't had a murder I think, like
twenty years, and it was a six of them. You know,
it was a blizzard. I don't think they were well equipped.
I don't think that they had Initially it wasn't a homicide.
I don't think they had you the right you know,
(01:16:16):
the right availability of people, and uh, you know, and
once once the state police took over, then you know,
it does create some kind of it couldn't have been done,
been done, it been done better, Yes, but I don't
think you know, here's the important fact is that that
does not lend to a cover up. That does not
(01:16:38):
lend to a corruption. There's you know, just because there
was a you know, a couple of mistakes made and
not a perfect investigation, which I don't believe there ever
is you know, you can't overlook all the hard facts
this is where you know, that's the point we're all
(01:16:59):
talking about the the search and the and the you
know which has been debugs and the dog and this
is the conspiracy theories are headline grabber like, that's the point.
They're trying to distract from the facts of the case,
the hard facts, and you know, bloggers and media outlets
they like to drive these these false narratives because it
(01:17:20):
gets views and listeners and clicks and add money and
that's what sells.
Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
But like pains, Yeah, nobody went in that house. I
think about that often. How do we not go in
the house.
Speaker 12 (01:17:35):
So they they did go and talk to the you know,
talk to the residents. And you can't search something without
you know, probable cause there's not you know. They they
they looked at this case and it's not it's an
it was open and shut. You know, it's not because
of this conspiracy theory. It's like, why did they not
do this? Did they not do that? But all the
(01:17:56):
evidence was pointing so so directly towards care in that
that's how you go through an investigation. As you say,
these it's Okam's razor, the most probable thing most likely happened.
Speaker 1 (01:18:12):
So you know, Jackie, I do. I do want to
ask you this too before I let you go.
Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
I think, you know, like I said, even me insinuating
that I was having you on somebody on the other
side on I got messages immediately.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
How different is your life now?
Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
How much easier would your life be if you wore
a pink shirt and said free, Karen read, I'm sure
a lot easier.
Speaker 12 (01:18:35):
Listen, you know, I just missed my friend. We miss
our friends, and that's it like to be honestly, Yes,
the harassment and all that stuff, it was a shocking
at first, but now we kind of you know, we
we don't really listen to the noise anymore. My life
is I'm blessed. I have a wonderful family and wonderful support,
(01:18:58):
and know, we just miss our friend and he was
a great guy, and that's being lost. And I just
want you know, if you guys can remember one thing,
it's that there's somebody was lost and his family and
his friends and his and his cousins and his you know,
nieces and nephew and so many people. We miss him
(01:19:22):
and we're unable to really warn him because we're stuck
in this. Yeah. Absolutely ridiculous three plus year long craziness
I could have never imagined. And we just want we
just want the best for him, and that's what we're
(01:19:44):
here to do. Support and and uh continue to fight
for justice for our friends.
Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
Yeah, and I am sorry about the loss of your
friend because I've also never spoken to anybody who literally
is like, oh, no, I knew John. I mean even
hearing you say like, hey, guys, open your trunk, I
want to drop some kids off for the toys, Like,
we don't hear that stuff about John, because we don't
hear anything about John. This has been made to not
be really about him. So Jackie, thank you so much.
(01:20:10):
You know again I asked you three four times, are
you sure you want to come on? Because I know,
I know it's not easy, and I know I'm sure
you'll get the messages because I've gotten them. But I
do really appreciate it because again, that is the most
important thing, is the fact that we lost a.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Young guy who was a dad to to to two
little kids and that they don't have anymore.
Speaker 12 (01:20:29):
Ye right, right, And then yeah, he was really a
great guy. Let's say. And if I my grandmother always
told me, don't worry about the things you can't control,
so I can control, you know, how we think about
them and how we continue to to fight for him.
Speaker 2 (01:20:47):
So all right, Jackie, well, thank you so much for
joining us. I really appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (01:20:51):
God bless thank you.
Speaker 12 (01:20:53):
Thank you, guys, thank you very much.
Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
You too. Yeah, that's brave, that's beyond because she's gonna
get yeah to do that.
Speaker 4 (01:21:02):
Yeah, whether they're gonna make it out.
Speaker 3 (01:21:04):
Yeah, And it's heavy too, because again we forget that.
Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
We talked to Nick a lot, but Nick, I don't
think prior to this ever knew Karen, and I don't
think they were you know, this woman spent time with
that stuck out to me. I don't know if you guys. Yeah,
she said the last time she saw Karen, they were
putting her kids to bed and they were singing songs.
And I don't know about that time is sacred for me.
Speaker 7 (01:21:26):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
I wouldn't even let the nana's in there. So that
that's that stands out.
Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
You also think about the kids who lost now three
parents technically, yeah, you know, I mean perspects for them.
Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
Yeah, they they lost Karen, family that lost a daughter,
now a son, And how do you cope with that
a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:21:41):
It's a lot of people affected.
Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
If you missed any of that, it will be up
on the podcast just now in the free iHeartRadio apps
are to a s h L double Go Morning and
Morning show with.
Speaker 13 (01:21:54):
D J four and it's Costin's number one for hip
hop jam in ninety four or five.
Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
Hi, everybody, good morning. The internet is crazy. The internet
is so wild. So we just had Jackie Doogal on.
Speaker 2 (01:22:13):
She is obviously on the opposite side of Free Karen
Reid and Karen's supporters.
Speaker 1 (01:22:23):
I've been We've been.
Speaker 2 (01:22:24):
Nothing but open about the fact that we would love
somebody to come on and debate Nick Rocco and you know,
talk about the other side. Nobody, no one ever calls,
Nobody ever steps up. Jackie stepped up to the plate,
and I'm getting.
Speaker 1 (01:22:36):
I'm getting dms.
Speaker 3 (01:22:37):
Yikes, what's wrong with you?
Speaker 1 (01:22:40):
Why would you do that? I'm sick. I'm throwing up
listening to this. What's rot?
Speaker 3 (01:22:47):
Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
Is everybody okay today?
Speaker 3 (01:22:50):
Listen? I understand that it's a local story and you
may have some people connected aside from that outside of
that circle. Why are these people like so hateful to
hear another side or just another opinion.
Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
Yeah, and I think again, like, at least from what
I gathered from that chat with Jackie, She's like, Yo,
beyond all of this, I lost my friend, and that's
what I want to come talk about the fact that
nobody talks about my friend. I mean, like even that
little anecdote about how you know, John O'Keefe would call
them and say, leave the trunk open.
Speaker 1 (01:23:18):
I have some toys for you guys, like we would.
We don't sare things like that.
Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
We don't know that.
Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
The dms are crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
And it's crazy the think, like even politically, like I
have a certain stance on many things, but I like
to hear the other side of things that I think
it's educational and like. But I'm never going to like
try to like villify a person for who's open to
hearing like another side.
Speaker 5 (01:23:41):
Welcome to the world of the incident. When everybody has
an opinion, everybody's opinion matters, everybody's opinion is valid, you
know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:23:50):
You know and us here we're very opinion on certain things.
But at the end of the day, like if for
intais something or whatever, like I don't care if I
say something you guys call me insane and then we.
Speaker 2 (01:23:59):
Move on right to be honest, That's what I love
about you guys, that we don't all think the same
way because like, for what, and I just think everybody
needs to calm down. I mean, I got a message
from a girl.
Speaker 1 (01:24:15):
Let me read it to you.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
Guys, thank you so much for having somebody on to
talk about John. You lost me as a listener over
the last year, not because you support free Karen Read,
but because you have never had anybody else on. I
have no issues with people who have both sides on
their program. I'm sure you're going to get flack for
having her on, but I'll say that was brave and
I go, well, how did you know then that we
(01:24:37):
were having her on?
Speaker 1 (01:24:37):
She said?
Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
Somebody posted it on a Facebook group. It was hard
to stop listening to you, guys. I've been listening from
the beginning. I remember you from Real World. I love Santy,
but it was so upsetting when you would only have
one side on. There's so much more to this case.
And again I completely get the reasonable doubt as far
as the police investigation, but I don't think that means
she should get off just like OJ Simpson.
Speaker 1 (01:24:56):
That's my opinion.
Speaker 4 (01:24:58):
And again, we on not in the court room. No,
you know what I mean, we are.
Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
I can say this, we are the majority of the
people that feel like there's something wrong in this case.
Otherwise it's not making max, it's not making headline news.
That's dunks exactly. If this was a clear cutcase, open
closed and it was just bog she's guilty, nobody cares
in the sense that we're not making the news outlets.
I'm not going to spend any time and money doing this.
But because they so many holes and so many things
(01:25:26):
that can point to one side of the other. Yeah,
that's what's become sensation.
Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
They even said in the interview to Jackie, I like, respectfully,
I don't care what her Her response was going to be,
You're never going to convince me that the Canton police
did a perfect investigation. The man was talking about the
woman's leaky butthole, like, you're never going to convince me
of that.
Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
As a detective, what are you doing?
Speaker 2 (01:25:45):
But but you know those are She's bringing up points
that like were facts that were brought up in court.
So again I can see why people there are two
sides to this.
Speaker 3 (01:25:54):
Yes, but at the end of the day, you can
still form your own opinion and your own reality to
what you think happens. But you don't Villa five the
platform that's given the opportunity to the other side like that,
because that's crazy. I'm not popping our collar. But do
what we did. We sat, we listened and we don't judge.
Speaker 1 (01:26:09):
You know what I mean, Listen and we don't.
Speaker 3 (01:26:11):
That's true because we could have again, you may come.
Speaker 5 (01:26:14):
You know, anybody who's listening to this who was on
the other side, and you feel like, yo, you know
Ashland The Jeremy Morning Shows very pro Karen Reid again,
from the information we're getting, it looks ellas sus we
can all state that fact as fact to woe. It's
a very suss case. Now did we come here bombard
her and fight her and be like, oh nah, you
don't know what you're talking. Now, come say your peace.
You're somebody who's really close to the both of them,
(01:26:36):
you know what I mean. And I've always said, you know,
Jonas O'Keefe's name gets just lost lost, bro, Like nobody
can I see I said this last week. I see
his mom every day in court, and I feel bad
for that lady because she's like yo, dog, yeah, talking
about all this other nonsense. I lost the sun, but
she came, she talked about it, and I'm and that
was brave of her, by the way, because again she's
(01:26:57):
in the lions, then she's here. We could have we
could have went hand. I'm on a but we let
her speak the truth, because why everybody has an opinion
and we should respect each other's opinion without being like
sending why a y'all sending dms to ah, thank.
Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
You, I'm pumping as like give it a second, like
what are you guys?
Speaker 3 (01:27:22):
Sweets?
Speaker 2 (01:27:24):
And to Florence point, it's if I if we were
going to go back and forth with Jackie, we'd still
be on with Jackie.
Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
We could do it all day.
Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
By the way, I'm sure Jackie would have an answer
for every single thing I asked her. But I think
the point was to let her tell her side and
why she feels, how she feels, and and and again.
Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
That was her friend. She spent time with Karen, and
obviously John and her were super close, So I think,
why wouldn't the closest thing.
Speaker 4 (01:27:52):
We've ever had on these to the case?
Speaker 5 (01:27:54):
Cool you know what I mean, Nick does his thing
and anything, and he's going to be fast than that
if but this is the close they've shed breathing space together.
Speaker 3 (01:28:02):
The wildest thing about this, too, is if you ask
ten people what they think happened like that, like that
certain night, you'll get ten of pankys, right, that's what.
But that's okay. But the many you have somebody else
on it, it's like a problem. Like, come on, guys,
come on, we.
Speaker 5 (01:28:15):
Better than that. You've been listening to this show for
a long time. For everybody's sending dms and things like that. Yeah,
yeah've been listening.
Speaker 7 (01:28:19):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:28:20):
We very we try not to be biased. It may
sound that way, but finally I'm thankful that somebody came
on the other side. It's like, nah, here's what I think,
and here's the evidence of why I think so, and
I'm gonna lay it.
Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
Out for you. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:28:31):
Another part of it that I think is important.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
If she started out by saying I'm friends with everybody
that lives at thirty four of those are my friends,
that's not what that was. She's like, my friend is
John O'Keefe. I didn't even know anybody inside of that house.
So that's why I thought that that was important to establish.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
And I would think you want a radio station that
would have both sides on, because a lot, if not all,
radio stations in the city would not have done this.
Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
Honestly, I hope whoever has been feeling some kind of
way about being on the other side that Karen is
guilty now feels like they can call it a little
bit and they can call in and they can talk
about it. Because I want to hear from y'all. I
really want to understand, like this thing. Yes, it's fascinating,
but you know, we want to know. We want to
know what everybody thinks.
Speaker 3 (01:29:10):
And after you did an amazing job there, because I
think a lot of people would not have been able
to handle the pressure from all the sides and ask
the right questions with the right tones to so amazing job.
Speaker 2 (01:29:18):
I appreciate that I got Jamison in my let's go
I'm drinking. No, I'm just kidding that occasion. It's on occasion.
If you saw my DM stay in the.
Speaker 4 (01:29:32):

Speaker 2 (01:29:41):
All Right, everybody who I need to sprint a boat
of here. Severn's finale. That's all I can think about
right now. Severn's finale.
Speaker 3 (01:29:51):
Mill check, guys, that's what I'm saying. I just saw
the spoiler.
Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
Know you did if but I believe it, I can
you not.
Speaker 2 (01:30:00):
They're gonna be like, why why did you end up
firing Santi? Oh well it wasn't for harassments.
Speaker 3 (01:30:06):
In fact, I have no idea. I just guess.
Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
I've only seen two people post about it, and the
word disappointed was brought up. And that's I'm staying off
because I I can't, because I won't even I won't
even look at X because that's where you'll see it.
Speaker 1 (01:30:20):
Is everybody watching tonight.
Speaker 3 (01:30:21):
Yes, what happens is Mark walks in there with like
a with like a suicide vest, like a bomb, and
he blows up the entire.
Speaker 4 (01:30:29):
Terrorist like he was wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:30:34):
You want to dance, You want to dance.
Speaker 3 (01:30:38):
With a knife, a gun, a vest, the red button.
Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
Imagine if Santi was severed, what his he would be
like like? If this is his audi, imagine what the.
Speaker 4 (01:30:56):
I don't know, I.
Speaker 1 (01:30:58):
Don't know, all right, shout outs.
Speaker 7 (01:31:04):

Speaker 5 (01:31:20):
So if you listen to this, so streaming this at all,
make sure you'll pull up to Portland, Maine. I'm an aura.
It's a jersey party. You don't got to wear a jersey,
but pull up and let's have.
Speaker 4 (01:31:28):
A good time.
Speaker 1 (01:31:29):
The effect jersey that he's worrying Ted Bundy people that
he killed, that's I did. That's dope. I didn't know
they made murder jerseys. I'm gonna have to grab me
one of those. What's your plan? Will you sleep in
Portland tonight? I thought, oh, yeah, you have to. Will
you drive there now, just to like check them on.
Speaker 5 (01:31:45):
My plan is to go to the crib, do my
boxing class at like twelve fifteen, jump on the road,
go there, shallow, sleep.
Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Smart, Yeah, just hang out at the Hoteland. I love
that Love Portland. There is a steakhouse downtown Portland. I'll
get you the name, please. One of the best takes
I've ever had. So got off figured out I will
all right, catch up on the podcast.
Speaker 1 (01:32:06):
You know, be nice. There's there's always two sides to
every story, whatever you believe. And you know what I
will say.
Speaker 2 (01:32:13):
After we just had that conversation, a lot of people
are messaging me saying whichever side they're on, like they're
trying to be adult about it and say that that
hearing another side is fine. Some people are saying that
made them further believe whichever side that fine.
Speaker 1 (01:32:28):
Whatever it is, that's what it is. It's crazy out there.
Speaker 7 (01:32:32):
It is.
Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
It's crazy about the wild West.
Speaker 14 (01:32:34):
Yea.
Speaker 2 (01:32:35):
The words that people are using to like one word
in particular, like I didn't even know people still use
that word. It starts with the C, like it's a
mean word for a female.
Speaker 1 (01:32:46):
I feel like people use that word at all. I
don't hear it a lot anymore. Really, you guys do.
Speaker 4 (01:32:52):
That word. I don't like it.
Speaker 1 (01:32:54):
I haven't I'm being called it, but I hadn't been
called it in some time?
Speaker 4 (01:32:58):
Like, is that the most disrespectful you could do? Say?
Speaker 5 (01:33:02):
Other than spinning on your face maybe or something like that?
Speaker 1 (01:33:04):
You know how I feel?
Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
But is that is that I've never understood the weight
of that word.
Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
No, I feel like it sucks. I mean, it's not great.
I'm sure I was shocked to see.
Speaker 3 (01:33:13):
Do you know that in certain parts of the world
that to use as like a positive. Yes, Australia. You
know when you're mad than that word it means like cool.
That was mad.
Speaker 2 (01:33:24):
So every message that I read that someone's calling me
that I'm gonna be Australian positive.
Speaker 1 (01:33:30):
I love that. Happy Friday everybody
