Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dashy and the Show with DJ fourn It's Saw Morning
Sustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hi babes, good morning, Happy Wednesday, but kind of like
a Friday and also the biggest party night of the year.
I was saying to you last week I met with
my friend Audrey Rose, and I was like, Audrey, she
owns ageless Wayless was like, I know you have IV's.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I need you to hook us up.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Because I like to do the ivs either after I
drink too much or preventative, and this is preventative. We're
doing a little Meers cocktail right now, which is just
mainlining vitamins and minerals. That's the way I love tasting
vitamins in my mouth.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
If he.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
But it's true.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I mean, listen, the bottom line is I'm drinking tonight.
I'm gonna drink tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
We know that. And this is just the quickest way
to get the vitamins.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
You know, also soon for those who aren't going to
be partying tonight too. This is good just for everyday hydration.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
I listen, we all know I actually likes to drink,
so that's the way I use it. But This is
just in general, a great thing to do if you
just need a little refresher. Just get your body, get
those vitamins in you, the minerals. Just you'll feel better,
You'll feel hydrated. There's nothing better than being hydrated.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yes, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
So shout out to Audrey. I literally was like, Hey,
it's me, Mommy drinks a little bit. Can you hook
us up?

Speaker 2 (01:32):
So they came to the studio, which is really nice.
They have locations in Salem and in Ubern.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
But to your point, though, I love tasting in the
back of my throat.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I know, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
It tastes so awesome.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
Well clip that.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Yeah, tomorrow's Thanksgiving. There's so many people in town. Just
because of the fact that it's the holiday. You have
this personal vendetta against Thanksgiving. To me, it's just it's
it's we can eat and sweatpants and we have off.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Like I'm cool with that.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Then that is the wrong word to use. I just
want to remind people of what this is, and I
just constantly use the opportunity to do so. Like listen,
I like the day off, I like the eating part,
but like the reality is is like we're celebrating like
massacres and stealing of land.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
You're not alone. By the way, we got this talk back.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I want to say happy Thanksgiving to you guys. Listen
to you every single day. It's funny how Santi says,
you know what we're celebrating is crazy. My fiance I've
been with for five years. He will not celebrate Thanksgiving
with anybody. For that reason. He stays home by himself
and orders Chinese food. My I go off to my
family's house. His family has a big gathering, but he

(02:38):
will not go anywhere. He refuses to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, Like, how would you feel if somebody came to
your home, taking away home turn and then celebrated with.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Hurkey, not saying it's right. I'm turning a blind eye.
I'm gonna eat my stuffing. I'm gonna have the mashed potatoes,
I'm gonna eat this hurricy. I'm gonna have my mimosas
with my clco and I'm gonna call it a day
and I'm gonna take it as a day off.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Yeah, but you're gonna remember that that happened right on
your day off. Like I'll celebrate tomorrow. I'm like yes,
I'm sleeping in it feels awesome at the same time.
Back in my mind, we're gonna remember that. Yeah, well,
people are living a reservation because you guys try not to. Okay,
will your turkey be dry tomorrow? My brother in law
is cooking, so hopefully it will be more because my

(03:24):
mother in law turkey is so dry and cold, because
I found out they cook at days in advance, Like
what is happening? They cook at days in advance for
what I don't know. I have no idea.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
They cook the turkey days in advance. That's I've never
heard of.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Their Thanksgiving is a few days of processing. The first
day is turkey, the next day is the socides. Then
they heat it up, but then the turkey they heat up,
but then it cools back down. So that's why it's
super dry.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Well, that's the hardest part. So I'm told I help.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
I'm like the Sioux chef with my mother, but making
sure all the sides are ready at the same time,
and they're nice and hot with your warm, juicy turkey.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
By the way, not cooking the turkey till it's too dry.
You have to wave said turkey and then you cook
it depending upon the weight.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Now I have to assume that cooking the turkey is
like the centerpiece of the whole thing, So everything's based
around that. But what you cannot do is cook a
days in advance, because that's just stupid.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
I secured my turkey yesterday. I picked it up from
Gerard's farm in Marshfield. I had no idea that there
was going to be like lines to get turkeys, cops
out there dealing with the line. My neighbor hit me
up yesterday and she's like, Ash, you have to come now,
there's no line at your ards. I said, I got
the girls by myself.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I can't.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I'm not bringing both of them in there trying to
carry this turkey. She goes, I'll wait in the parking
lot with your kids so you can run it and
shout out to coordinate my neighbors.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
She's adult.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So I got the turkey, We're secured. I'm ready to go.
I got the shamps. We are having a time tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Do you usually have your turkey stuff?

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (04:56):
He was looking at me the whole time with this face,
and I.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Knew something was up. I knew it was gonna.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Be because I will come.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Oh, he comes, Stuff my turkey. What a doll, so sweet,
