Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, everybody, Good morning, It's Ashley and the jam of morning.
Imagine the paths go to the super Bowl and bad Bunny.
He's just like that. Wow, that's a possibility, everybody at
they're two. Okay, speaking of the Patriots and our old guy,
Bill Belichick, here's the thing. Prior to having Daisy, I
(00:23):
was still playing basketball, like multiple times a week. Okay.
What I would never do ever in my life is
tell the fireman, why don't you come watch me play?
Why don't you come watch me play it? For it
really would not And if he was sitting in the
stands watching me play, the absolute dick that would give
me like, what do you get out of here? Get
out of here? But by the way, that's not a competition,
(00:44):
that's just me playing pick up. But there's just something weird,
like in the adult age. I don't there's something off
about it. I say all this to say that Bill
Belichick has gone viral for supporting his his girlfriend Jordaan,
who by the way, were friends of you know, we
love her. Yeah, that's when she beat Witty up in
that and that verbal battle. That's why we love her.
(01:05):
But anyway, Jordaan was at a cheerleading competition. So remember
Bills seventy three, she's twenty four. So he stands out
like he's at this like adult cheerleading competition supporting his guy.
I just I don't. I don't visually, I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Wait, she was actually competing. She wasn't coaching like she
was in like the second row, like doing stunts and
all that stuff. Oh wow, she's competing.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
She's literal okay, competing. It isn't is it? It's an
adult cheerleading competition.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Now I play adult baseball and my wife will come
from time to time, but a lot of the wifes
don't come in. That's just a pickup game, Like that's what.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I'm saying in a pickup situation, that's what this is,
a quote competition. So maybe it's a little makes it
a little bit more realistic that he would go to
something like this. But everybody's talking about it, the fact
that Bill's just at this adult cheer competition. Do you
want you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Now here's the issue. The real thing. If this was
your daughter, then you show up to the thing. But
because of the age different, that's what makes this very
makes it very weird for everybody.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
But listen, you know, if we just take everything away,
and at the root of this, it's just a man
supporting the one that he loves, just like she supports
him in Chapel Hill every week.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
He's in the seventies twenty.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I mean, I think it does make it a little different.
She also is active on social media active, and Dave
Portnoy was just doing his podcast and he he made
a comment about how Bill needs to get the hell
up out of North Carolina. It's not going well for
Bill there a Chapel Hill. And listen to what Trdan
send him.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I got a thumbs down from her?
Speaker 1 (02:45):
What DM just a thumbs down?
Speaker 3 (02:49):
What did what did you send her? I didn't send
her nothing.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
I say like they have to get Belichick out of there.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I said something to that effect.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
And then she thumbs down it. Yep, she thumbs down,
just out of nowhere emoji thumbs down or did she
thumbs down a message?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
She DM me a thumbs down.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
No day. Oh, I love it so much because she
didn't even send the article. She just sent the thumbs down.
And that's the thing. Remember her battle she had with Winnie.
She doesn't mess around like you want to talk smack
about her or Bill, and she gets wind of it.
She's coming for the jugular.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
But she's going to understand she's in the wrong situation
because the comments are going to come just based off
the age alone. Now it's Bill. You add in a
whole demographic of people there.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
And this convo isn't about that. Like, I do find
cheerleading to be a sport. I've seen cheer the show,
Like these people are athletes and she's a national champ.
We know this. Uh, but yeah, there's something I don't know,
there's something weird about Bill being at this. I don't know.
Maybe it's the fact that, like if the adult cheer competition.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
No, it's the fact that he's old. That's the issue here,
and she shouldn't be responding to anybody. This comes with
the territory, especially because the age difference. Keep saying it.
But it's the almost obvious thing. People are gonna talk
about this, like until Bill dies, Can we at.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
This point in time say that we truly believe that
they're in love? I think we can't. I don't think
there's fighting that anymore.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yes, like absolutely, but even to say that it's not
going well for a football team now, and he needs
to leave. Everybody's sinking the same thing. He's one of
the greatest football coaches of all time. Yeah, clearly he
should be coaching in the NFL, and it's not working
down in Chapel Hill.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Seventy three years old with a twenty four year old.
You know, he's probably in the same place as my
dad right now. Bluetoo youtu on Auto Ship, especially in.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
The Jamie Morning Show, and you need to know.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
No, we got you three things you need to know
on Bustin's Number one for hip hop and the best
throwbacks you haven't any more.
Speaker 7 (04:48):
Five Thursday, November twentieth, and we are elated to tell
you that we finally got a little looxie at Stefon
Diggs and Cardi bees new baby.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
But I'm so happy, I mean, seemingly the baby's cute,
and Cardi looks really good in the photo.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Just happy, she looks good. I think the most important
thing that we noticed from the photos he was there.
We literally were trying to do the math. We didn't
know if the baby was born in the third and
the fourth. She confirmed it was the fourth. I believe
that would have been either a Monday or Tuesday, so
he would have been able to be present, but we
didn't know. But he was there. He's in the photos.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
The baby boy is wrapped in a Patriots custom Stefan
digs swattle, blanket and hat.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Are we okay?
Speaker 2 (05:32):
No, I'm so happy and I feel just because of
that picture in the birth of the child, I feel
like we're going to the Super Bowl. I think I'm
just looking for ways to just put it out there
in the atmosphere.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
One of the photos has the baby's face blurred. I
kind of thought was interesting.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I don't understand that.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
I don't either. We don't have a name. But you know,
Carti's Cardi shows her kids. But I did say this earlier.
This is not an offset child, and maybe that's an
agreement they had and stuff on, Like, I don't know
what my baby's photo on the inch. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I mean according to him, it might be Yeah, according
to his.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
He was hacked. Yeah, right, he was hacked either way.
I want to show some love to Carti because her
album am I the Drama has achieved three times platinum,
meaning it sold a three million units, and the album
has become the highest certified album by a female rapper
in the US this decade. By the way, Stefan Dig's
also commenting on the post proud of you, boo, but
(06:28):
I love you, and she wrote back, I love you,
thank you for giving me this beautiful baby boy. We
want a name, all right, So let's chat about Normani.
Have you know she and like the company? Okay, yah,
It's like when you see something for twenty dollars, Shean
is definitely selling it for two dollars, you know what
I mean. It's one of those. But Normani is signing
(06:51):
up with Shean and she's doing this like fashion exclusive
launch straight through them. She said. It's a curated mix
of edgy streetwear, inspired books, daring silhouettes, and refined staples.
The brand and powers individuals to express their unique sense
of style with confidence. Listen, you know it's gonna be
a good price. Yeah, but what I've heard I haven't
(07:13):
ordered from them, but what I've heard is when you
when you order from Sheen, it's it's a roll of
the dice.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
It really is. Because my son bought a pair of
shorts that were like paper. They felt like.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
I'm saying, icous, you look at the photos and you
think you're getting like something just beautiful and grand, and
it comes and it's like that the quality is not good.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
I've also noticed who the designs are a lot smaller
on the pieces when they come to.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
What's the other one? At Cheen and Team, I look
at aj because she's a female. When we shop you
right away you've.
Speaker 7 (07:43):
Been I have.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Yeah, designs come small.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
That's gonna say. It's it gone well for you? Alrighty. Lastly,
I don't know if we'll ever see Drizzy perform at
a Rolling Loud festival, but not for a lack of
them not asking. The co founder, Tariq Sheriff, is like
I ask him ever ever single year, he said, Listen,
I sent an offer to Drake. Every year. We send
him our max offer, millions and millions of dollars and
(08:08):
he never accepts.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Listen. It's pretty simple. It's like when you go buy
a home that's a little bit too expensive, right, you
need to double the offer. If you really want the
house that bad, you gotta pay.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
You what the agents always say. Rolling Loud has been
in Cali, Florida, Thailand, and most recently in Mumbai. Like
it's literally everywhere. I would love to see Drake there,
but clearly they think they're offering a right amount of money,
not enough the street things need to know for Thursday,
November twentieth, we're gonna do the check in next. I
feel like there's probably a few Hispanic men that still
(08:37):
have something to get off their chests. And I understand
six one seven nine three one one nine four five
that a six one seven nine three one one nine
four five. We're checking in on you, your life, your world,
What are you doing, how are you doing? Call me
and tell me all about it.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
Good morning, Dashy and the Jamin Morning Show.
Speaker 6 (08:54):
Good morning your Bostin's number one for hip hop jam
in ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Hi everybody, Good morning Ashley the gym In Morning Show.
We're checking in on you, meaning you call me and
you tell me about anything you want. Whatever's going on
in your life, how you're doing, comment on things we
talked about thus far, ask us something, Just say good morning,
whatever you want. Six one seven nine three one one
four five six one seven nine three one one nine
(09:21):
four five. Liz is in fair Haven. Hi, Liz, good morning.
Speaker 8 (09:25):
Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Listen? No, respectfully, don't want to be you this morning.
Don't want to be doing what you're doing it.
Speaker 8 (09:32):
No, I just want to give a psa uh not
to drink and drive because it doesn't just inconvenience you,
inconveniences others when they have to plan the whole day
or I'm going to court for something so stupid.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
Yeah, so you weren't even involved in the drinking and
driving accident, but you were like a witness or something.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
I was the bartender that and it happened on my shift,
and I didn't even serve this person. They just came
barreling down the street. And because I was the bytender
right in front of the thing, Now I have to
go to court. But it really just ruined my whole day.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
And you got your best. Are you like essentially a witness?
Speaker 6 (10:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (10:11):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
Oh that's yeah, that's tough.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
I didn't even see it happened, right, and.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
You never served the person a drink, so they're not
going to be like you overserved.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Correct.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Well, there you have it. Now now you can't work.
You have to give up your whole Thursday to do
this here. I just want to triple chet because a
lot of times on the news I see people going
to court, and I'm like, did they look in the
mirror and say to themselves this was the appropriate outfit?
Are you at least wearing business casual?
Speaker 8 (10:40):
I'm not because this guy is not worth my time
about his fourth or fifth? Do you why are you wearing?
And he's a hot night success.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
I got my hoodie on and a pair of cargoes.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
You know what, Liz, I'll give you props for not
giving or you know what? Thank you really say?
Speaker 8 (11:00):
You don't?
Speaker 5 (11:02):
No? Yeah, this is the best.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
I will pray you're not of the newslest. Thank you
for the call. Chandra? Okay, Chandra is in Fall.
Speaker 7 (11:10):
River, Yes, and it's her birthday, Happy.
Speaker 9 (11:14):
Birthday, thank you, it's tomorrow, but thank you tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
And you know what it actually says that in the call,
screener literally says it is her birthday tomorrow. How old?
Speaker 9 (11:26):
Forty seven?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Forty seven? And how do you feel? How do you
feel about being in your forties? I just turned thirty nine,
and there's like the big fear of the forties. Santi
says he loves his forties.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
That's amazing.
Speaker 9 (11:38):
I love it. You just you know, you're just doing
you at this point, right you don't really hear what
many people thinking. You know, you're just living your life
and doing what you gotta do.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
I gotta believe at forty seven, you know yourself and
you're you're comfortable with that and you're not second guessing
anything anymore.
Speaker 9 (11:57):
Absolutely, and that and that's what it is right there.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Love that. I love that for us. Any big plans Tomorrow.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
My son's gonna bring me to the a comedy show
in Cambridge Smile something Smile High Club or something cute.
So we're gonna go there and we're gonna laugh, hopefully
and have a good time.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
I hope we laugh. That would be tough. I love it. Well, listen,
have the best birthday. And I like hearing that. I
like hearing from somebody who's not afraid of you know,
aging it's father time. It is what it is.
Speaker 9 (12:34):
Absolutely it's gonna happen. We just gotta make the best of.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
You how to accept it. Happy early birthday.
Speaker 9 (12:39):
Chandra, Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
You're welcome. All right, let's continue with the check them
by the way. You can call us now or you
could leave a talk back, whatever is easier for you.
Six one seven nine. That's six one seven nine call me.
We're talking about whatever you want. It's the checking only
on Jam and eighty four five. Hi, everybody, good morning.
It's Ashley and the Jam, a morning show. We're checking
(13:02):
in on you. By the way. Apologies the phones have
been so finicky today, but we have a we have
a correction for that big announcement coming not yet. Oh
we got something coming. Uh six one, seven three. If
you want to check in, we're talking about anything you want.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Jess is in Rhode Island just wants to talk about
Cardi B what specifically about Carti?
Speaker 10 (13:23):
Hi, guys. I want to say that this is really
different of her showing us the baby right away. Usually
after she gives birth, she just shows us that she
just gave birth and that's it. But this time she
even shows us a little side profile and she looks
so happy, and I'm just so happy for her.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Okay, good because I mean you hear in my voice
how excited I am every time I talk about it.
I'm like, you would think that I gave birth to
this baby. Okay, But Jess, what is your take? I'm
with you. She shows a side profile, but then in
a different photo she blurs the baby's face. Out. I
thought that was a little I can't make sense of that.
Speaker 8 (14:00):
Yeah, I oh my thing.
Speaker 10 (14:02):
My thought about that. I think that she probably at
first was like, no, we're not going to show the baby.
But I think that years ago they had said that
offset was the one that didn't want to show the baby.
I think it was Kature or one of them.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
So I feel like.
Speaker 10 (14:17):
He just said, you know, go ahead post the picture
and that you know that one picture was blurred, but
then the last picture she showed it out.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, and listen, I think we all were females. We
all know we like pictures that we like. Maybe she
liked how her and Stefan looked in that photo and
she was like it was not the best look for
the baby. So I'm gonna, you know, help the baby out.
But either way, the wrapping of the swaddle that was
Patriots and it was customed and said digs on it.
I can't. I cannot handle it. The cuteness is next level.
Speaker 10 (14:49):
We are going to go to the Super Bowl. I
feel that's exciting. Let's let's throw that in the air.
And I also want to give a shout out to
some of my friends.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
Let's do it.
Speaker 8 (15:00):
I want to shout out Nana.
Speaker 10 (15:02):
I don't know if she's listening. I also want to
shout out my husband, thank you for working so.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Hard for us.
Speaker 10 (15:08):
And I just won't have to tell everyone to have
a lessie, you know what.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
I actually we're gonna keep this between off. I'm still
that line. I'm gonna go off to the fireman today
when I get home and say thank you for working
so hard for us. That's nice. Appreciate your husband. You
should let your husband know you're appreciating. All right, We're
gonna run through some talkbacks that we got, uh because again,
(15:35):
you know, sometimes people can't call them they're at work.
We got one about specifically about cheerleading. And every time
this comes up in the studio away from us being
off air, Santi goes off. I don't really have I
don't have a dog in the fight. I don't care
that much. But for some reason, this really rattles Santy's feathers.
Speaker 11 (15:51):
Since we're talking about Chailead this morning, I just wanted
to give a shout out to my daughter's fourteen you
ever Crimson tied. We're going to Nationals in a few
weeks for the first time. My daughter is twelve, a
lot of the girls are twelve and thirteen. We only
have four girls that are actually fourteen, So this is
(16:14):
a huge accomplishment, and we get most of the girls
back next year to do it.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Again, back to back.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
I don't want to take away from the accomplishment because
it is an accomplishment to these girls, and I acknowledge that.
The problem that I have and my daughters we're on
the cheerleading team for a while, is that you go
to these competitions and they'll break them out into age groups,
and each age group will have three different divisions. When
you look at the divisions, sometimes there's two teams in
each division, so they announce the winners. It's like you
(16:43):
beat one person and you're celebrating, which is great, but
you're not really beating that many people. And then sometimes
that leads to a spot in Nationals. So I'm like,
what this is really a competition. It's just like a
You were just able to go to that competition for
that for that weekend, and now you go going to Nationals,
which is a financial burden on a lot of families.
(17:03):
And furthermore, it's a money making machine. It's not about
accomplishment at the day, that's.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Well, you're you you used to be. You're not a
cheer dad anymore.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
No, I, to be quite honest, I told them that
they're that because of their size, they're tall, they would
be more suited for softball and basketball.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
But couldn't they be like the bottom of the pyramid.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
They could? But then, like, it's really hard when you're
a tall girl and you're a cheerleading and you're the base,
because the base, from what I understand, you have to
be like at least kind of like the same size
and height because are up there stunting and one flegs
up the other one's bottoms.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I have heard that the cheer comps for the younger
girls down in Florida is like money, money making emotion.
Speaker 2 (17:45):
And then you start looking into how often they have them,
it's like, wait, so this isn't like a super Bowl thing.
This is like every weekend there's this national, this national
And that's what's hard to bother me about the whole thing,
money making recking.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Oh my god, Well there you have. It's six one
seven nine three one nine fourth on six one seven
nine three five. You want to say what up? If
you want to check in how you do when we're
talking about anything you want. Good morning, Hi everybody, Good morning.
It's acting the gym of morning show. David is in Cambridge,
David is checking in. Talk to me. What do we
got going on in your life?
Speaker 10 (18:18):
Not bad?
Speaker 5 (18:19):
You know, I'm just living. I just got that new
iPhone seventeen, so kind of happy.
Speaker 7 (18:23):
We're on the up.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
There's nothing better than getting a nice new crispy iPhone,
like the batteries better. It's just lasting you you know
what I mean if you always got to plug it
in the camera, crispy photos crispy.
Speaker 5 (18:39):
Exactly, brand new, brand new, and on top of that,
like you can't even wear a case the first week. Well,
I never do it right when I get a phone because.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
I always immediately go on Amazon and try to do
like a next day, or because you don't want to
buy a case in the stores?
Speaker 8 (18:54):
Is it me?
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Or are they always like fifty dollars? Like the stores
prices for phone cases are crazy.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
That's what I'm saying. Like I have my girlfriend give
me a couple of cases off shame, so it's pretty
good for me.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
There you go, There, I go. A tells me you're
on the way to some big, big event with your girlfriend.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
Yeah, my girlfriend's sisters getting married, and she's Kritian and
they don't really speak much English. And this is like
the first actual event that I'm actually gonna sit down
with her parents. Like I met her parents after with
my girlfriend for over two years, so but like this
is the first actual event that I'm gonna sit down
with her, you know, her parents, and it's gonna be like,
(19:35):
you know, a big dinner after. And it's really nervous
and I don't know what to say. I usually just smile.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Well, yeah, if there's a language barrier or whatever. But
here's my question. Two years you've met the parents, but
this is your first time like having a sit down
dinner with them. The hell you guys been doing?
Speaker 5 (19:51):
Oh no, they've just been working, you know, like as
far as like a marriage, like an actual like big event.
You know that we went on to eat a few times.
Speaker 1 (19:59):
Okay, And do you heard her parents speak English?
Speaker 5 (20:04):
I mean her dad does, but her mom a little
bit not much. All right, Well, mom loves me, though
her mom loves me, and her sister loves me. I
don't know her her dad loves you.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
To say, don't get too drunk there, but don't worry that.
The positive is we have someone on this show that
speaks close to no Spanish, but he can help you
outside and give him a couple of phrases he could
use at the wedding.
Speaker 2 (20:27):
He's cave verdie and I don't know that language.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
I mean, I'm myself so like we speak creole. But yeah,
it's like, like I.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Love He's like I just I just sit there and smile.
That's all you can do, buddy, Just you just smile
and wait, they're gonna love you. It's gonna be fine
because you know what, you can't say anything to upset them.
Speaker 5 (20:53):
I'm saying that, like I just hope I got on
the right out and everything.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Yeah, that's the positive and.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Everything.
Speaker 7 (21:02):
See.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
The one thing I would feel like is anytime someone
spoke they were talking about me. You know, it's like
if there's a barrier of any sort, Like sometimes I'll
go to the nail salon and if there's the barrier
there in my brain, my brain is telling me that
they're talking about about me. Probably not, probably not. Probably
(21:24):
it's funny.
Speaker 6 (21:29):
Good Morning Boston's number one for hip hop jam in
ninety four or five.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
We're cruising everybody. It's Thursday. We're very very close to
the weekend. That's exciting. That's fun. By the way, we
were just chatting about Cardi. She had announced I don't ounce,
but she posted some photos of the new baby boy.
Didn't get a name yet, but we got a date.
The baby boy came eleven four. We know Stefan Diggs
(21:56):
was present. The baby was wrapped in a custom Paget's
swaddle blanket. Adorable, Like I die, it's just so cute.
But now Cardi, she woke up this morning and she's
on her Instagram stories showing off like the room in
which she gave birth. She's like, if I got a cold,
I would come back here because like that's how good
I was treated. What French toast eggs and bacon sausage
(22:21):
they got for her. They have every cookie imaginable, every
dessert you could possibly ever want. There were cokes. There
was like luxury birthing room.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
But luxury average person does not get.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
No.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
I mean, I got like a little menu and I
could order something off that, but they weren't just like
bringing me a buffet.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Yeah, and I'm sure that food was decent, but not good.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
No, I can't even imagine what it like. The celebrities are.
That's a lavish situation. So good for her. For her,
it is really nice. But I like that she's giving
us a little peakski, so maybe we'll get a name soon.
Speaker 7 (22:54):
All right.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Sometimes throughout the show we get talkbacks, but things just
get crazy you don't get to get to them. So
I wanted to make sure we got it to a
couple of these. This one interesting. I feel like she
almost answers the question for herself.
Speaker 12 (23:05):
But so I just wanted to ask your guys opinion
on how do you guys feel about boyfriends or husbands
telling their girlfriend or wives what to wear? Do you
think they should be allowed to wear whatever they want
or should the guy have a say and what girls wear?
Speaker 1 (23:25):
First off, she sounds eleven. Yeah, like I'm concerned who
is dating what's going on? I think if you're even
asking this question, you know the answer. Listen. My direct
response to that would be, I think it's fine. Line,
you absolutely should wear what you want. But if you
come down the stairs and your husband's like, oh, that's
like okay, like that's what you're wearing, and you're just exposed,
(23:49):
you know, I think that there's a conversation that can
be had.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
But I think you can't really tell them what to wear. No,
I think you can have an opinion, like almost like
as an advisor. As long as like the outfit Matt,
which is the couple's brand, then it's fine. Like if
my wife comes downstairs and like something like school like
skin tight with their boobs out and you can see
like but cheeks, like we're having a conversation like when
you're on going out like that because that's not who
we are.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
Yeah, and that's not it's not happening for you all
the time, something that's different. But I I you know,
the fireman will say, like I like you way better
when you're covered up as opposed to like in a
bodysuit on the weekend where your beacups are out, for sure,
But he's never gonna tell me I can't wear it
sounds hot though. Yeah, He's never gonna like stop down
and be like you can't leave the house in that, Yeah,
(24:33):
but certainly will offer his opinion that he likes it
better when I'm more reserved.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
But on the other end of that, like let's just
say my wife comes downstairs, something's not looking right, like, hey,
you look great, but like I don't know about that
shirt with that outfit, because again there's that part of
it too.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Do you like, will she show you and it like
I'll get dressed and ready and come out and ask
for his opinion.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Yes and no, it depends. But then again, and sometimes
I see things that I'm like, that does not look good.
But I'm also like, it depends. There's God, we're gonna
go here now. So I'm she likes to wear these
shirts that have like a ruffle like on the top
of the arm, Like I don't know how to explain that, like.
Speaker 1 (25:13):
A poofy sleeve type of sing.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yes, there are times where it works and it's absolutely fine,
But then are.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
We talking on the shoulders or like like a little
bit down closer to the arm, because I think I
know what you're talking about.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
It's kind of mixing between. So it's like it's like a.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Muscle dinosaur type top with the frills.
Speaker 2 (25:30):
And like those I'm like, I just don't think they
look good. But I'm also like really like, oh she
wants to wear It's fine. It's not the biggest thing
in the world. And I'm sure I put on something
that she's like, I don't like that, and I still
wear it, right, But if there's something that's blatantly looks
like okay, that looks really bad and yeah, you look sixty,
then I'm gonna have the conversation in a nice way.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I have had it, where like the firemen will be
going out with his buddies or whatever, and I'm staying
home with the kids and he'll come out and it
will look like he has never ironed a single pant
in his life, and I'm like, go back in there,
because you're a representation of me out there and I'm not.
You're not going out like that. No, if it has,
if it takes for me to have to earn the pants,
I'll do it because I'm not.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Yeah, you know, but that's how you say it.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Yeah, I'm not nice at all. I will say that
I'm not. I also have done it where like I
buy him clothes and I hang everything in the closet
so that way he can just grab him go. I've
already approved everything that's in there, and I don't have to.
Speaker 2 (26:24):
But no, but she has been asking as of late.
It's probably because I've matured it and now I can
communicate these points a lot better, but I'm sure in
the day I wasn't telling her like in a nice way.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
I can only imagine they don't be You don't not
hurt anybody's feelings. But some people like you know, you
have to dress to like your body and your style.
And you know, some people like I have friends in
my life that just have no style.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
Yeah, and you know what, that's okay. Not anybody has
to have style. I think you have to be comfortable
with what you are, yes, yes, but there are something
like some guys and I only say this for this
addressing way too young for their age. And I think
that's where I'm right right now. I'm always like thinking about.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
That, right, You got to be cognizant of that for sure.
All right, we also got this one, and I didn't
mean to make her cry, but I'm glad I was
able to help out.
Speaker 13 (27:13):
Hey, Ash, it's your fellow Scorpio. I started my birthday
off inspired by you by listening to the voicemail messages
I saved of my grandmother over the years, and I've
never had such an emotional birthday morning, but also a
really grateful birthday morning, which is funny. I've got tears
(27:36):
and smiles and I just want to thank you for
the inspell.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
Love you girl, of course, love you too, and happy birthday.
It choke me up even to think about it, but
I you know, when we had my birthday and we
were on air and we were talking about it, I said,
I started every morning on my birthday going back and
listening to the voicemails from my grandparents like I actually have,
and I played some of them saying happy birthday to me,
and like, I cherish those so much. So I was
telling everybody, and I'm glad I said it because a
(28:02):
couple of people were like, oh my god, I didn't
even think to like screen record though. So I have
them and they don't go anywhere because you just never know,
and father time is father time. But it's I feel
so close to them when I get to hear them
tell me happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
You know, when your kids are having these thoughts, they're
going to have so much content, just because over the
years we have Instagram and all these platforms. We post
videos too.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
I know, and it's so true because anytime my mother
shows me a photo of like me and my brother,
we were younger, like I cherish them so much because
there's not a lot of them. My kids are gonna
be like.
Speaker 7 (28:32):
Well, here's mom again in a sluttie witch outfits.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Dashy Morning Show Good.
Speaker 6 (28:38):
Morning Boston's number one for hip hop jam in ninety
four or five.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Wow, I feel like that we were just started the
show and now we're here. I LinkedIn was that we
had a very entertaining show today.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, makes the day go by faster.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
It's always you know, things are gonna pop off when
somebody calls in and says I'll take any man except
for a Dominican man, and then then it was just
nuts after that.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
The reputation for us is not positive, but there is.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
And I wish I could say you you counteract that,
but you don't.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Well, no, it depends on what it is though. Like
some of the stereotypes of the makea men, I don't
do Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
I mean when you talk about how your dad gets
treated by your mom, sounds do anything.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
You don't understand how uncomfortable it is for everybody, Like
in our home listens to the.
Speaker 1 (29:24):
Show and she follows us on social media and I
love her very much, so so.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
But it's the truth. Though she serves him.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
She always looks happy.
Speaker 2 (29:32):
I mean a choice the heart brows are tattooed on
and the positive like she's always surprised, like nothing, I'm fine, that's.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
The one once I can get botox when I'm done
breast mean, that's what you're gonna say to me. You're
gonna be like, are you sad? Because I can't tell
I don't know what's happening.
Speaker 7 (29:49):
Do you know what?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
Somebody something look shocked and you're like, huh, She's constantly
in that state of shock.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Was the tattoo artist blind? Like I don't anyways? All right,
let's let's give some shout outs.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Shout out to Susie Cassillo, Zach Zach Galasso, and Kelly parent.
Speaker 1 (30:09):
I at Ashley Feldman two, he's on the Ashley I.
What's a show without me going to war with someone
in my d ms. But this woman basically told me
that I owed a public apology to a different woman
who said, how dare you not talk about Cardi and
her baby? There's a photo out there of her in
a football field. Just go look at my Instagram and
and you know, you decide if I need to be
(30:31):
apologizing or not because I'm not. I'm absolutely not. But anyways,
if you miss anything, make sure you catch up via
the podcast and we will talk to you tomorrow on Friday,
