Speaker 1 (00:01):
Especially and the Jamin Morrisha with feign It's.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Santy When you need to know, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more?
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Five? All right, Wednesday, July second, we've talked about it
in length. This morning we got some act shown in
the Ditty case and I really really thought to myself, Wow,
this is the first time I have felt any sort
of excitement towards this because we can't watch it. The
federal cases, we can't see and we're kind of having
(00:34):
to decide if we like a journalist and how they
are reporting what Diddy's looks like and what he's looking
like in there, and what the judge is saying, and
it's without being able to watch it with your own
two eyes. It just doesn't feel the same. But we
found out that the judge received a note from the
jury yesterday saying, hey, listen, we've reached a verdict on
(00:55):
counts two, three, four, and five, but we are unable
to reach a verdict on the biggest one, which is
that rico racketeering conspiracy charge. Listen, I know how extensive
this Diddy case has been and you know, trying to
follow it is even harder and crazier. But I think
the easiest way I can explain it to you is
(01:16):
that charge, that big one, the racketeering conspiracy charge, basically
is alleging that Diddy is this massive mob Boston, that
he has this criminal enterprise where he is trapping and
abusing women, and they just cannot decide if they believe
that is guilty or not guilty. But what they do
feel like is they know two through five, which is
(01:38):
sex trafficking by force, fraud, a corsion, the victim being Cassie,
transportation to engage in prostitution, victim being Cassie, four and five,
same charges, but pertaining to victim number two, Jane, do I.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Feel like with the Cassie ones, he's definitely guilty because
you remember he was threatening her family with a bunch
of stuff too, So that's coersion some capacity.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Right, Yes, I think so.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
And that's we had Lisa from Mattapan calls earlier. She
was just a juror on a murder trial and she's like, listen,
when I found out that the jury had come back
that quick on two through five, it was straight up guilty,
for me, and that's what I kind of thought yesterday.
But I also see exactly what you're saying form, which
is that if they can't figure out one, why was
it so easy to figure out two through five.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
Yeah, that doesn't make sense to me because it kind
of all it's almost like they took that part out
of the rico just to be able to be like I,
if the RICO doesn't work, at least we can get
him on these things. So to me, whatever you're guilty,
guilty or not guilty on two through five should kind
of be the same thing that you give him on
the rico.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
But they stuck on some If they get them for
a guilty on two through five on any of them,
that's a minimum of most likely.
Speaker 5 (02:46):
Fifteen per charge or just total I believe per charge.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yeah, I think I think it's per charge because I
remember the minimum in the beginning of this we were
learning was like fifteen to life. So you know, there
was somebody that was reporting that did he looked really
solemn that his attorneys were whispering to him, and it
didn't look good on their side. They were nervous, they
were worried. Uh, we can't see, so you know, you
got to take these people at their word if that's
(03:10):
you know, but who knows that somebody else might see
that look and digest it as did he looking confident.
I don't know. Uh, they're back in there today. The
judge has officially sent them back a note being like, deliberate,
figure it out, get back in there so we shall see.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
It's wild to think that did he might be spending
the rest of his life in prison or.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Even like a majority of that, you know what I mean,
ye sometime or something, even if it's fifteen, that's a
lot of time.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
You know what I really noticed yesterday too, because you know,
once our group he started going crazy. The verdict is in.
I had a TV on. They're they're just showing Diddy
from like our childhood to now, and it really is
like it's Diddy, it's a it's it's the guy. Yeah,
And it's just crazy to think that the guy might rot.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
It's wild all for freak offs, man, if you think
about it, if you break it down like it was
a freak.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Offs sexual deviant, yeah wild. He can still freak off
behind bars too, So I'll have.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
That he might like it more. I don't know, but Anyways,
with that being said, we will see if we get
a verdict today. Obviously, we will keep you posted. Something
else is going on in North Andover and I feel like,
you know, we kind of were talking about it. We're
going to get more answers as time goes on. But
an off duty police officer was shot and wounded yesterday
and I'm sorry Monday in a confrontation that involved three
(04:30):
other police officers from the same police department. So essentially,
a couple cops went to this off duty police officers
home to serve her a court approved restraining order. Something
happened and a weapon was discharged when one of.
Speaker 6 (04:46):
The offices was escorting Miss Fitzsimmons during the service of
the court order. A non confrontation took place. As a
result of that confrontation, one of the responding officers did
charged their weapon, which struck Miss Fitzsimmons once.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Multiple moving parts here. So the officer Fitzsimmons, she was
on leave from postpartum depression. She had had her weapons
taken away from her when she got put on the
initial leave. Now I don't know if she had weapons
in the home, if she went to grab an officer's
a weapon. But the man who used his weapon has
been on the department for I think they said over
(05:24):
twenty years, so a vet in the department. Her only
han't been on the apartment like a year and a half. Now,
mind you, she had recently gone to her superior and said,
I want to get my weapons back. I feel better,
you know, like I said, struggling with postpartum depression. I
can also tell you the baby was home, oh wow,
during the time, which is insane. She as of yesterday
(05:46):
was in stable condition. But something just like I don't know,
there are a lot of rumors circulating around this one,
and it is something we're missing something.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
Yeah, it's telling in what he said, right, he was like,
what was accompanying her? I'm assuming so the vehicle got
into a struggle, which means either she wasn't handcuffed because
they probably like, yo, this is one of our fellow officers,
so we're not really gonna treat you that bad. And
then obviously they had a little struggle. I think she
went for the weapon because whoever the other cop was
seeing what was going on and for him to pull
(06:14):
out his gun and shoot, he must have felt like
that somebody's life was it was about to be was risky,
exactly high risk. So for him to have and you're
saying he's a vet, so it's not like he's a
rookie who just panicked. This is a guy whop. I
was like, wait a minute, something's going on here. But
thinks she reached for the gun.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Who was going to file the restraining? Like that's a
good question too, because that seems to be the whole
part that I guess we're not talking about. Yeah, and
it's given the feeling that clearly it was more behind
the scenes maybe and again I'm speculating, yeah, some sort
of a fair happening.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
It's also so sad because she's clearly still struggling, even
she's in the right mental state. The babies at home.
I don't know how the baby is.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
It's just it's a lot.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
The tough thing with a story like this, especially this
day in Agent Massachusetts, the conspiracies are gonna start running
with this one. You're not gonna be able to cover up.
But if there is, if there is, I think we
do only that time anymore, especially here.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
I was just about to say they're going to have
to do another conference and give the more detail because
people are going to be like, no, what are y'all
covering up?
Speaker 7 (07:08):
Like?
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Also, no body cams on the North end Over police
officer for the reason.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
Yeah, you could just talk about it and say what
it was and.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yeah, yeah, something just seems off here. So as we
get more details on that, we will keep you posted,
all right, And lastly, big news for Mariah Carey fans.
I know there's some of you out there Christmas fans. No,
we don't even know if it's a Christmas album, but
she is giving new info on her upcoming album.
Speaker 7 (07:33):
But its next Well, it's the album coming out, So
I don't want to tell too much about it because
I just don't want to reveal the whole thing.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
So it's finished.
Speaker 7 (07:45):
Yes, it is.
Speaker 3 (07:49):
Maria's icon, right, is a beast the original Well no,
not the original diva but she you think diva?
Speaker 5 (07:55):
You think yes, Mariah is all these things. I mean,
from her early career to now you know she runs
Christmas and all of this. Who's checking for Mariah album? Nobody? Honestly,
be honest, let's just be yeah, unless it's holiday themed, nobody. Yeah,
she better have like the remix to the she comes.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
Out with a whole new Christmas album. I'm too, Yeah,
but it's not going to be that.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
It's not I mean, it's who's checking for that.
Speaker 4 (08:25):
Probably tough artists like that to let go. But I
think at some point your fame fades away or she.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Goes nostalgic on us and has like another voice to
men like I would want to hear that.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Yeah, she can't do that because one of them is
not here, So that would the same.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
Still perform without like TLC still out.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Here, you know, I mean the guy's technically still alive,
but he ain't come definitely what happened. The guy's technically
still alive, so they can drag him back into the
group and they can do his like base, you know,
because there's a guy who talked I mean AI is
out here.
Speaker 8 (08:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
I'm just saying, like, maybe something nostalgic for those of
us because like she.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
Was, come on, But want to hear one sweet Day
from my riot in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Yeah, I don't know, we'll see, but I will hear
like holy night for that little dummer boy to bait.
Actually that is here.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
All right.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
That's three things need to know for Wednesday. July the second.
Let's do round two of those tickets six one seven
nine three one one four five Whiz and Sean Paul
at the Xfinity Center next week with you Good Luck.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Dash and the Morning Show with d J four and
It's s Morning.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Three in Summersworth is going to whis Khalifah and Sham Paul.
We will do it again tomorrow morning. But of course
DJ Popdog has your next shot that comes up in
the three p m Hour. I don't know why this
does shock me a little bit that Nelly is not
doing this I feel I guess I felt like, you know,
(10:08):
with Nelly and Ashanti having the baby, that Nelly would
just get right he's old er. Yeah, so I felt
like he would get right into baby mode and stop
acting like he's a young.
Speaker 4 (10:19):
And but I will say, this makes sense because this
is probably the way he's always been and he's not
gonna change now.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
This blows me because I I'm in diaper land. This
is this is almost like breakup worthy for me. I'm serious,
like we're supposed to be a team. We talked about
having kids together and you're gonna act like this.
Speaker 9 (10:43):
I'm gonna take you back to this conversation we had
before you kick me under the table. I said, baby,
I give you the world. I just ain't changing no, doctor,
it's all you.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
I ain't gonna even lie.
Speaker 7 (10:54):
You know.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
I ain't got none for him, absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
I know me too.
Speaker 9 (10:58):
He can say I'm hungry until he gets But as
soon as he started walking, I told him, I said,
enjoy because soon as he gets to.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Walk in and talking with the crew, listen, there's a
point about this that I don't like to change him.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
I didn't.
Speaker 8 (11:17):
I hate it.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Raise your hand if you do no.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
But at the same time, it comes with the package.
And I feel like when you do that, you feel
like a parent. At least I did it.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
I feel like a dad.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
It would make me feel so alone in it, like
he's I don't know, like maybe he's saying it to
be funny and he's actually helping her. I can't tell.
I don't. I don't know, Nelly, But like this, this
is the lack of teamwork right there. I don't.
Speaker 5 (11:42):
I don't like that.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
So when he's not around or in the middle of
the night he's waking haf to go change the diaper
or he or he's keeping the kid in a messy
diaper until she comes home.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
He actually said that number one, he sleeps. He just
sleeps right through the baby crying.
Speaker 4 (11:55):
Of course himself, he's faking it, he's gone.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
But yeah, he's basically saying, I ain't doing nothing until
the kid talks.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
That would make me like, I'm not kidding, like divorce
wor they I would be so pissed off, so hurt.
Like again, having a baby is a joint decision. It's
not just a one one person thing. By the way,
fun fact for you guys, my ex went viral for
this exact same thing. He said that I think him
(12:30):
and his wife have I don't even know four kids
now maybe three. He said in an interview that he
doesn't change diapers. In fact, he will alert her like, hey,
there's a diaper in the middle of the night. He
will wake her up and say the baby and she
goes and she still doesn't. Oh yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:46):
But like viral for it.
Speaker 4 (12:47):
He's kind of a how do I say it, like
a chauviness kind of like on that s end of things.
Is that accurate to say, I know I'm not shocked
that he's saying that because he said some other.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Things like that, Yes he had not to me, but
in his time on MTV, Yes, yeah, But I'm just
saying like there are there are guys like that that
don't And by the way, just like you don't want
to change the diaper, Nelly, nobody does. Many times I've
gotten like poop under my fingernail, Like I don't want
(13:17):
to be doing that.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
And then also he's justifying it by saying that he'll
change the diaper or do whatever. When the kid starts talking.
I feel like it's worse at that point because it's
more human.
Speaker 3 (13:26):
And Nelly, just so you know, when they walk, they're
still in diapers. Yeah, like, okay, my kid is walking
right now and she's still peas and poops in a diaper.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
I don't know I had divorce.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
I mean, that's a crazy stretch of a thing to say,
but like, I don't know how we what do you?
What are you giving?
Speaker 5 (13:45):
But the way you put it though, it's not a partnership.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
When it's like that, no, you feel and again, remember
postpartum is a lot anyways, I'm sure she's going through
a million emotions, but now to feel like she has
no help but she has to do it all herself.
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
Fun fact.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
I didn't know how to change a diaper till we
had our son, and they taught us in the hospital
how to change a diaper.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
No idea.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Wait, we're all everybody's learning. I still google stuff about
kids every single day, every day. Mister telephone man weighing in,
you better not be calling to defend this man. SA,
you better not be calling in to defend this.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Man I defend.
Speaker 3 (14:26):
It's crazy.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Any hand or me?
Speaker 3 (14:31):
I do? I do, and thank you for that. That
was thank you short sweetened to the point.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
But that's exactly it. It's weird.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
It's very strange to me. But I bet you I'm
gonna give the number and there's gonna be someone that's
gonna call me and be like, no, yeah, my husband
or boyfriend whatever, never helped, never changed one by see
you divorce six one seven nine three one one nine
four five six one seven nine three one one five
Nelly told Ushanti, I'll help help you when the baby's won,
(15:01):
but until then, I'm really not.
Speaker 5 (15:03):
Doing much at all.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Hi, everybody, good morning, It's Ashley in the jam in
morning show. So remember Nelly and a Shanty, by the way,
have this reality show that so many people have hit
me up about saying that I have to watch. We
reported on it that it was going to be coming out.
I actually had one woman write me too and say
that she's so appreciative of a shanty on this show
(15:27):
because Ashanti isn't like hiding her postpartum body and she's
you know, really showing like it's not easy to bounce back.
You know, it's like it's hard work, and she's not
like hiding that aspect of it, which sometimes celebrities do.
So people are super appreciative in a shanty for that.
What they aren't appreciative of is how Nelly is out
(15:48):
here talking about a shanty essentially has to do it
all herself until the baby can walk and talk.
Speaker 9 (15:53):
I'm gonna take you back to this conversation we had
before you kick me under the table.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
I say, baby, I get you a world. I just
ain't changing. No, it's all you. I ain't gonna even lie,
you know. I ain't got none for him, absolutely not.
Speaker 9 (16:07):
I know, until he can say I'm hungry, until he
can say I need to he used to passroom.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
It's gonna be a lot.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
But as soon as he started walking, I talked him.
Speaker 9 (16:18):
I said, enjoy because soon as he gets the walk
in and talk, he with the crew.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
I used to love Nelly. I've lived in Saint Louis,
so you know, Nellie and I we go back. We
have history. Nelly's a loser to me for that, absolute loser.
Raphael wants to tell me to relax.
Speaker 10 (16:38):
Hi, Raphael, good morning, Yo, Ashley, get off your high horn, sister, Yo,
you wanna te wow.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
So he's a loser. Nellie's a loser for that for
you in.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Your eye, Yeah, he's a deadbeat dad. He's gonna let
his postpartum wife do all the work herself and not
help change a singular diaper in the middle of the
night on a woman who's feeding a baby and keeping
the baby alive, not being able to have a second
to herself. He can't change a singular diaper. I'll stay
on my high horse, honey, all.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
Right, So let me say.
Speaker 10 (17:08):
Let me ask you this though, So, how how do
you feel about the fireman changing the diapers on a
on your daughter?
Speaker 4 (17:14):
You know I'll answer that I have daughters and I
did the same exact thing. You change the diapers. It
comes with being a dad, boy or girl. It doesn't
matter simple.
Speaker 10 (17:25):
But but I don't know.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
I just feel some type of way that as a man.
And I'm a really head of social man.
Speaker 10 (17:32):
I mean, like, I love my girls, I love you
know everything.
Speaker 6 (17:36):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 10 (17:36):
But when it comes down to changing diapers on a little.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Girl, You're making this something that it is.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
And I'm not taking it.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
I'm not taking it.
Speaker 1 (17:53):
You're making this, man.
Speaker 10 (17:55):
It's just if you cannot clean a girl diaper, you
know her, you can't.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
Clean the girl. You can make things worse than what
it should be.
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Yeah, but you learn how to do that. You learn
really fast. It's that simple. And I know what you're
talking about. But like you need a cigarette, no, I.
Speaker 10 (18:14):
I you know, trust me, I figure a long time ago,
my boy.
Speaker 5 (18:17):
But I'm just leatying.
Speaker 10 (18:18):
You know, certain men out there, you know, just like myself,
don't feel comfortable changing a.
Speaker 5 (18:22):
Diaper on your point.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Your point isn't even good because Nelly's kid is a son.
Speaker 10 (18:27):
Yeah, so it doesn't know I know, but e but
either or what I'm trying to just point a fact
here a boy or a girl. Certain people just don't
feel comfortable changing a diaper on a on a Those.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
People shouldn't be parents or should say to their partner, hey,
before we do this, I'm not helping at all. Maybe
that they wouldn't want to have a baby with you then,
because that's that's lunacy and like this, this, this makes
zero sense to me, And I agree with Sandy. I
do think you made it weird because it's it's a baby.
But thank you for the call. I'll say I'm a
high horse.
Speaker 5 (18:57):
Yeah, I'm on your high horse too. I'm on the
back of it. Like we're talking about this is weird?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Like that made it? Has he made it that? Nelly
just doesn't want to do it because he thinks it's
dirty and girls, there's.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
A part about it like listen, I don't know how
to do. You know, it's obviously different plumbing and all.
That's a fine, but it stops there and you learn
what he did was made it completely weird and uncomfortable
for everybody and especially.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Yeah, yeah, no that AnyWho was weird.
Speaker 11 (19:27):
Somebody?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Yeah, like okay, let's end this, Danielle, what is this
is the problem?
Speaker 5 (19:34):
You know, this is crazy. We're talking about little girls
like you're the weirdo. You're aware we're talking about a baby,
like call baby.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
I have two young girls.
Speaker 5 (19:47):
I have a seven year old and a four year old,
and you get your aunt.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
I'm sorry, I'm sure, but their dad.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Changed every day card when I was not there or
when I was.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
And it wasn't weird because they're his daughter. Weird, bro,
you're making it weird.
Speaker 3 (20:01):
He made it weird. Listen, thank you that know me
to Hey did you I got a little bit of
that's thank you me? Yeah, Like that was strange, Danielle,
thank you for the call. That's that's And I actually
remember one of the first diapers that the fireman ever changed,
Like he asked me questions, he talked about it, especially
when it was poop because it's a lot happening. But
(20:23):
that's his daughter you take care of. Like the bottom
line is, if you want to have a baby, your
hands are gonna get dirty. That's just what it is.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
It's like being a dad. It's that simple. It is.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
I'm changing. I'm changing multiples a day. But guess what
the fireman's stepping in Sue, Okay, and I like a
high horse a high horse for my horse up here on.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
The morning Show with d J four and it sat
morning Sustin's number.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
One for hip hop jamming ninety four or five.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
Foreign had gone to the bathroom earlier, so he missed this,
so I'm going to replay it for him. But I
think it's going to open up a can of other worms,
not just foreign worms, but Ashley worms and Sauzzy worms.
Because anytime I can add to our blooper reel, I
love to, but then I get to go through our
(21:25):
blooper reel, which is so fun. But yeah, when you
were in the bathroom, your friend over here almost dropped
an F bomb.
Speaker 4 (21:32):
HEAs on the EXPRESSI I didn't think I did, but
I think close.
