Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wait yo wa.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Hi everybody. Friday, we made it Mother's Day weekend.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Yeah, that's right. Not that I forgot, because I mean
a rezi, but I do forget that as mothers, and
I feel like I should go get cards today for
myself and the kids.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
You might want to action that. I feel like it's
early for Mother's Day.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
I don't know, but it does feeling. Yeah, but it's here.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
It's on Sunday.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
You know.
Speaker 5 (00:33):
Everyone celebrates differently. Some brunch, some do dinner. You're doing
a dinner.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
We're doing dinner at SMITHA Wolinsky's. So yeah, foreign's free.
Speaker 5 (00:41):
He used to back in the day have to buy
gifts for the mother of his children. Not anymore, man,
it's free. His kids got jobs now see yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Now will you hit her and wish her?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Of course? Yeah, of course. Why do we need to
celebrate one day? Why can't we celebrate the women in
our lives that are mothers all the time.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Most of us do the same thing for dad.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
No, and I agree, But then like we focus on
this one day, we need to just do something special
for mom, And it's all like all the commercials are
based around that, like whole mindset and like I get
it at the same time, like, let's champion it like
all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I get it.
Speaker 5 (01:14):
But if we could try, it's never gonna happen. No,
you have to have a specific day or it's never
going to happen.
Speaker 6 (01:19):
They got to be a day, I guess for her
to feel special. Yeah, what's the Sanci's point. They've turned
it into a business.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Like it now, you know what.
Speaker 5 (01:31):
I am having this weird uh like conflict though, because
I'm a mom now and my mom lives near me,
so I'm trying to like make sure I give her,
like cut out a little chunk of time for her
to be celebrated. But then also I know that you know,
we're doing a brunch for me on Sunday, So could
you do it like on a different day because we're
doing Yeah, we're gonna on Saturday. We're gonna hang watch
(01:51):
the Celts, oh God, willing win and get some food.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Will she be upset that you're not doing it on
a Sunday on like Mother's Day?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I hope not. It hasn't come up.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
I think she realizes now, like you know, but it's
so funny because she asked for something this year. She
doesn't usually do that. You know, whatever she gets when
she's happy with, but she asks for something. And I
said to my friends that it reminds me of old people.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
What she wants, what she wants.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
It just it just gives me.
Speaker 5 (02:20):
It gives me the vibe like a woman by the
name of Ruby would want it, Like Ruby's ninety in
my head.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
A digital picture frame, Yo, that is the new crazy?
What is that?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Keep hearing about that all the time, and you know
what's hilarious. I've been clowning it all week. I'm like, God,
was she a thousand? Me and ad are sitting here.
It's silent. They're like the number one GIF this year
for Mother's Day. Digital picture frame really make her feel special.
Speaker 6 (02:45):
I'm like, what, I've been hearing about this for weeks now,
and everybody's kind of been pushing, Oh yeah, I get
it for your for Mother's Day. They're gonna love it.
I'm like, what is this now you're talking about it?
I'm like, that must be the new crazy.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
I dropped one on this thing. So you here's why
it's not that big. No, it's bigger than a four
by six. But here's the reason.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
I wanted.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
I couldn't fathom the thought of her having like one
of the og ones that just looks so corny.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
Oh, just so bad. So I got her this one.
Speaker 5 (03:18):
Pull up the picture for you guys. It actually looks
like it's would so it looks like an see that
from here form. It looks like a real picture frame
and people, you know, I don't know it just I
couldn't walk in her place and see the og ones
and just the cringe.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
So now, but here's the thing with the with the
with the digital picture frames.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
It's a gift you give somebody, but you the work
goes on you, on you the gift gift because now
we all got to get the app and we all
got to send her the photos that are gonna rotate through.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
My brother was like, I don't like this.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I saw.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
I'm telling him, like, we got the Aura frame, So
you have to download the Aura app and you can
upload your pictures into the r and they'll pop right
up on Mom's picture.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
He's like, I'm out. He's like, don't Vemo request me
for this because I'm like.
Speaker 5 (04:09):
It becomes because she'll be like, I haven't seen any
new pictures in a few days.
Speaker 7 (04:13):
The girls.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Can you hit the app? You know it just it
just I feel like it will turn into But I.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Mean, that would be a cool gift for for your
family in Africa.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
That's kind of.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
Yes, yes, yes, not that I'm thinking about it. I
might have to get my mom, she's supposed to be
here next week. I might have to get home one of.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Those number one gift.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Yes, I'm telling you this morning.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
I even heard it, get a digital get a digital
gift for your mom's from Mother's Day.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I'm like, what why I can't.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
I'm sure there's I like the if you do some research,
you can find ones that don't look corny. But it
just gives elderly to me, Like when I picture people
having them in their homes are always old.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
I don't know, but it's a good idea because then
you just put the picture frame up, especially if it
looks like the one you bought, and then it just
swipes pictures there. I know what you're talking about. The
other ones because the design was not that good design,
That's what it was. It just looked it looked like it.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
It really did.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
She's gonna put this like on a coffee table up
on the wall.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
She had no. She has like a bookshelf, so if
it's up.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
To me, I'll help her with like some I'll put
a couple of books down like Dacore books and then
we can put the picture frame.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Yeah stop, like you'll stop.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Just look there.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
I'm gonna just hit that things with selfies every morning, Sentry.
Speaker 7 (05:31):
Here you go, Terry.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
She's milky again.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Especially in the morning show with Joign and Sonty.
Speaker 8 (05:39):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Buston number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags. She haven't any more vis.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
Baby Baby Boot Scrap, Papa Babe Booms, Papa Friday.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
May Night.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
We have a pope. People, you don't need to know
how to say it in Latin. You can just say
it the way you want to say it. It's happening.
Speaker 5 (06:05):
Pope Leo the fourteenth leading his first mass today. The
conclave elected good old Cardinal Robert Francis Provost, who has
decided to go by Pope Leo. Really Dope sixty nine
years old, was born in Chicago and graduated a Villanova
University in nineteen seventy seven. Fun fact for you, he
(06:27):
is the first American to be elected as pope.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
Huge basketball guy too. He loved loves, he loves jacketing.
I'm assuming that he has to write.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
He was a missionary who spent his career ministering in
Peru and led the Vatican's powerful Office of Bishops. When
the white smoke came out of the Sixtine Chapel, I
felt something in my soul.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Man, It's just exciting, dude.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
I had the thing on live and when you see it,
like everybody started freaking out and like, oh my.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
God, can I see it? Am I see? Oh my gosh.
They were saying they were.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Not Why can't they say God, oh my god? Because
this is a positive thing, right, you.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Can't drop it. You can't drop a hard d on that,
all right, I can't.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
But anyways, he's in, he's ready. He seems spray.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
The last couple of them have been a little bit
like old, like older feeling like older vibes. You know
what I mean. You knew they were mare gonna last
like too long. I feel like this dude's going to
be in there for like a minute.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
It was exciting that it was taking a little bit
of time because I think it was like building and
building and building, but it's go time for Pope Leo
the fourteenth.
Speaker 3 (07:31):
Yes La, Yesterday, I was like, nobody knows who it's
gonna be. Like everybody tries to do the hope, the
whole thing with like just the predictions, and it never
turned back.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
He was not the prediction.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
We're not all cardinals. We don't know what's going on
behind the scenes.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
You know what's popping off and it we don't know
what kind of questions they're asking.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
Yeah, maybe they've gone in there. And Bob was like, listen, guys,
I got this. Yeah, crust me, God for me.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
All right, let's talk Paul Pierce. This had me in
tears yesterday. One thing we can say about Paul Pierce
is he's.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
A man of his word. Okay uh.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
He was talking about the Celts and he basically said
if the celt not basically he said, if the Celtics
do not beat.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
The Knicks in Game two, I will walk to work
in my robe.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
This man walked to work yesterday fifteen miles in his bathrobe.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Man, this is really wild, though I can't believe it
self has got me out here like this.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Chris.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
The Celtics really played Paul Piers because it was I'm
seeing cars drive by him. I'm thinking to myself, if
I'm outside and i see somebody walking down the street
in a robe, I'm like crack or.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Dementia because something is off here, Like this is crazy.
Speaker 5 (08:50):
This is not like go up to that man and
CEV has a bracelet with his information.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
I also doing barefoot too, but I staying true to
his word.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Man, he I think he knew he would have to
get to work and hear from everybody if he did
it fifteen miles. I mean, that's it's cuckoo.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I'm pretty sure they posted a picture of him afterwards
who knocked out because he was exhausted. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
I was crying too because the very first video he did,
he had to get to work on time, so it
was like pitch black outside.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
You could hear all these weird animals making noises. Sauce.
I don't know if this man's going to make it
to work, but he did.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Paul Piers is my favorite, another man that if I
could party with anybody.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Yeah, Paul Piers.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Paul's in my top five, that's for sure.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Ah, all right, Karen Reid Retrol yesterday, Well, Uri a
Buchanik on the stand from sun up to sundown and
by the way back on the stand this morning, listen,
I said saying this to Feign this morning because foreign
and I both watched the whole things.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
We don't have lives.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
Good for you Son, and I think that during the
cross Alan Jackson did a fantastic job of paint the
picture of Yes, you may have been the supervisor, but
Michael Proctor, leaky butthole, had his fingertips on everything. He
was a part of everything. And we know today Alan
(10:12):
is working up to how can we trust an investigation
if this is the man that's doing the interviews, that's
signing off on things. I mean, Uri has He has
a pretty impressive background. He's been a detective for ten
plus years. He did two tours, I believe in Afghanistan.
He's a marine.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
We all know I have a favorite the Marines.
Speaker 5 (10:35):
And you know, I think the prosecution kind of laid
that out there, like you know, you've been doing this
for a long time.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
You you, you go, you're by the book, you do
it the right.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
Way, and then Daddy Al gets up and the back
and forth was just wild.
Speaker 9 (10:53):
Was that a question?
Speaker 10 (10:53):
I'm sorry, sure, everything I say question honor.
Speaker 11 (11:00):
Sustained to the comment go ahead and ask you again.
Speaker 12 (11:05):
You and integrity by Michael Procter. Okay, I love it.
Speaker 13 (11:15):
The investigation was conducted with honor and integrity and all
the evidence pointed in one direction, in one direction only.
Speaker 14 (11:22):
So, Sergeant Buchanic, you don't want to answer my question.
Speaker 9 (11:27):
Correct, I will answer your question absolutely.
Speaker 10 (11:33):
Do you think this case was handled with honor and
integrity by Michael Proctor?
Speaker 14 (11:39):
Sergeant?
Speaker 13 (11:40):
The investigation was handled with integrity by Michael Proctor, but
it wasn't.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, I mean yeah, I was saying this to fore,
and I'm like he did.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
In his soul, he feels like he did the right
thing with this case, right, like he's the sergeant.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
He handled it with honor and integrity.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
I think he's fistfighting himself on the inside because he
knows the.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Text messages that Michael Procter was sending.
Speaker 15 (12:11):
But he's still, in his soul believes it was Karen
Reid who did it, and that he did it with
honor and integrity, even though he knows that these text
messages were sent.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
I feel like I could see the battle internally. I
think he could have specified like but then say he said, okay, yes,
I feel like it was done with honor integrity. Those
text messages were not Jackson like, I didn't ask you
about a text message.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
Yeah, I asked you if you you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
So actually remember if you remember, we're watching it.
Speaker 6 (12:38):
And Jackson had to object to him himself, to him
he asked the question, he answered, He's like objection Yanna,
And then they had a saba, and I think in
the saba he told the judge to instruct him not
to like expand on his answers, like just answer what I'm.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
Asking, because he kept doing that.
Speaker 6 (12:53):
He kept answering and then giving context and answering giving
and sometimes you don't want that as a defense law
because you're trying to paint the pictures.
Speaker 5 (12:58):
Because I feel I feel like once he gave contacts
it was better. I mean, like, for example, he said
in his very first interview with Karen Reid, the first
thing she said to him was John never went in
the house, which is like, hush, like that's like, you know,
but but if Alan wasn't specifically specifically asking that, you
know whatever, And by the way, that that part didn't
(13:18):
come out with Alan Jackson that came out with Hank Brennan.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I just thought, like, there's there's so.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
Much to get through with Uri because he was the guy,
like he was the head guy. And you know, remember
when this all came to light and we found the
text messages and we learned about all of those things.
Michael Proctor lost his job, like he is no longer.
I don't know what the hell that man does for income.
Yuri lost five vacation days as his slap on the wrist.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
There was a back and forth with him.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
It got so hot, like I mean again, you can
tell that there's absolute hatred between the two right because
ury Buchanic is like she did it, like I know
where the evidence of appointing she did it, and Alan
jack is trying to fight that. So what At one
point Alan asks him something and he's like, I don't know,
you know, I'm sorry, Sarah, Like I don't know if
I can answer that, and Alan Jackson goes, you're not sorry.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
We all know you're not sorry.
Speaker 5 (14:13):
You're not sorry now like comments like that, you know,
it got it got hot between the two of them,
and he's expected back on the stand this morning. So
I'm very interested to talk to Nick Rocco at seven
thirty about him specifically, because I just think like he
was a part of everything and he knows so much.
I mean, he had to hold up John O'Keefe's bloodied
(14:35):
shirt from the hospital because he's the one who retrieved it,
his sweatshirt, the shoe, it was. It was heavy, and
I thought to myself, poor Peggy. I always think about Peggy.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
I can't.
Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, especially if he's sitting there and then all the
clothes that he died and is right in front of
your face. Again, are these people just playing games in Quartal?
Speaker 5 (14:53):
Yeah, like going back and forth and it's Mother's Day
weekend and she has lost two children.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:59):
Karen Reid out side of court yesterday, still seemingly doing well.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Go in the house? I did you saw him going?
I sauched on going that. Can you describe him going
into the house?
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Which door and how and when?
Speaker 5 (15:10):
No?
Speaker 2 (15:10):
I have though, and I'm sure the prosecution will play it.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
I don't know if I like her talking this like this.
I don't much. It's too much, gives too much context
and emotion to people.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
We don't like it. But there's no way Alan Jackson
isn't given the oki. Dok, she wouldn't.
Speaker 6 (15:26):
I was thinking that she wouldn't do it. He's too
strategic to be like, you know, go do your own
thing and go rogue. Nah, this is planned.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
This works when the impact is positive. On the other end,
I don't think it's positive for her. I think it's
giving people an emotional connection to her that's not positive.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
But like this whole case has been contradictory, Like Jim
McCabe says one thing, then she says another. So Karen
Reid telling the police officer right away I never saw
him go in the house, and now saying she saw him, like, it
doesn't shock me. There. They all are switching up. It's
not just her, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (15:58):
I problem is that people who will switching up but
actually testifying. Yeah, Karon's is alleged.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
She's just on Vogue. What do we think this morning?
I change every day where we think.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
She's going to jail?
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Or do you think she's right now? I'm leaning to yes. No.
I still think it's going to be a hung journey.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
I want to slap you, but I get what you're saying.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
I don't think there's really anything that that that's going
to change my mind. There's no way, there's too much.
It kind of sounds like maybe she did something. But
then at the same time, it's a debauchery of what
they did for an investigation. Because of that, there's no
way you can sit and then these little little things.
If I'm a join, I'm watching this office and not say, oh,
I'm not going to call him the lead, I'm going
to call him this, it's like, why are we dancing
(16:41):
around the facts?
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Like one thing that upset me yesterday too is like,
you know, Alan Jackson was trying to make up he
would Alan was using big words on purpose.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I'm sorry he wasn't. It was great because URI didn't
know some of them. Can you define that? I don't
know what that means.
Speaker 5 (16:57):
But there was a part where he was like see this,
like see this, this is a piece of paper.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Yeah, did you see this is did.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
You document when you went to three?
Speaker 5 (17:05):
And he was like no, He's like, sometimes we don't
felt the papers right away we were And then he
did say we write it on the bag, so the
dates on the bag, but he never filled out the paperworking.
And it's just like little things that might stand out
to a jury.
Speaker 16 (17:17):
And be like, well, why didn't why didn't you feel
see as simple as did you document this yes or no?
Speaker 3 (17:21):
He'll go like, whoa, what do you mean by a document?
Very clear? That seems so clear, Just answer it.
Speaker 6 (17:28):
And that's what to me seems so suspecially is that
you will not answer the questions directly.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
And these are not like gotcha moments.
Speaker 5 (17:35):
What I then I think about I'm reversing it, and
I'm thinking about me being on the stand and somebody
trying to get to like doup me into throwing YouTube
under the bus.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
And you're my squad, You're my team, and I'm gonna
be like.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Well, what do you mean did he come at five
twenty instead of five? Five?
Speaker 2 (17:54):
Times? He wasn't.
Speaker 5 (17:55):
Nobody asked like you know, I would be. So he's
he's going to defend his man absolutely.
Speaker 6 (18:00):
Remember he's been doing this for how many so he's
been doing this to other people as well. He's been
trying to manipulate answers out of people. So he understands
the game. He knows the game that Jackson is playing.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
It's crazy.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
I cannot wait to talk to Nick Rokko will do
that at seven thirty that's three things need to go
for Friday, May ninth. Like I said, the clock is
ticking on that Kendrick and says the show Monday Nights
at the Garden. If you want to go listen for
the two of them. Once you hear them, leave us
a little talk back. Name where you're from, favorite tongue
and you might be going.
Speaker 1 (18:27):
And the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn It's
saw t Morning.
Speaker 8 (18:31):
Bustin's number one for hip hop. He am in ninety
four or five.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
Hi everybody, Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (18:43):
I've been beating myself up on the inside about whether
or not to talk about this because I don't know
how you two are going to react.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
And I'm definitely.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Nervous about it because I know there's a way in
which I come off across is just like a just
like a bitch, But I don't.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Know what other word to use.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
So backtracking a week ago, the fireman asked me to
bring in a package and to not look at the
name on the box because it was my Mother's Day gift.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Obviously, Like in what world?
Speaker 7 (19:22):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (19:22):
Like, I I how it's hard yeow Am I not
going to look now?
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Listen?
Speaker 5 (19:28):
He tried to do it where it would get delivered
on a day where he was home from work, but
he works whole days, so it's not it just wasn't
a situation and where.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
That you know, just didn't work out for him.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
So I actually said to myself, you're not gonna look.
I really was trying to be better about it because
I don't get surprises a lot. I don't really love surprises,
but every once in a while, like they're fun. So
I said, you're not gonna look. So I go to
pick up the box and it's really heavy. It's heavy,
So I think to myself, hell, could this be?
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Like what could this be? That's heavy that?
Speaker 5 (20:07):
So I do what any other normal person in the
world would do. I read where it's from, because, you know,
although I was directed not to, and I am so
like sadly disappointed in the gift. I actually hurt my
feelings a little bit, really.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Yeah, because.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
I feel like the only two things right now in
my life. And this isn't to say that I don't
love my life, because I love my girls and my kids.
But I'm still the kind of the lifeline. You know,
I'm still breastfeeding. So I go to work, I work out,
and I go home and I mother.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
Okay, I don't really. I'm not smashly as much as
I want to be.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
I have my days, but I can't think of the
last time other that we have to plan things out
because the kids that I've been like, I'm just gonna
go today and go have some beers with my friends
or go grab coming.
Speaker 2 (20:54):
No more random nights and not that I couldn't, but.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
You know, you have to be responsible.
Speaker 5 (20:59):
So when I think of like things that I would
want for Mother's Day, a gift that's affiliated to work
or working out, not on.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
My list, I agree, not on my list.
Speaker 7 (21:12):
I agree.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
It was a weighted vest because one time I said
to him, Oh, when we go on walks, I want
to get one of those thirty dollars Amazon waited vest
and toss that on so that way I can also
burn some galleries while we're walking.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
It was a waited.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
How often do I walk, I.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Don't know, a couple of times a week, maybe, like
we're not walking every night.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
I think, you know, to Thorn's point, it is very thoughtful.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
Listen, yeah, and I know that, and I trust me,
I've thought about that.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
It's not a mother's day.
Speaker 5 (21:51):
It's not a mother's day of foreign like it's not that.
But you're right, I will not argue with.
Speaker 2 (21:56):
You on that.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
I will not one hundred percent like cool, like he
did listen to me say like at one point, I
want to get.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Up, but I don't, like I don't want jim equipment.
Speaker 6 (22:06):
But but maybe he's trying to stay away from the
same thing like father's then you know, the grills and
the tides. Maybe he's staying away from the spa days
and all that. She likes to walk. She's conscious about
her her health. Let me get out this thing that
she's been asking.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
She likes jewelry.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
She likes jewelry. Everybody knows where I like jewelry from. Like,
even if he got me a hundred my.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Favorite jewelry designer is this place out of Brooklyn called Caper.
They actually have on a Newberry Street. Right, even if
he got me a fifty dollars gift card there and
was like, pick out something you want, I mean I'd
have to chip into that.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
But I'm just saying, but.
Speaker 5 (22:37):
I and by the way, I feel so I hate
admitting this that I that it like genuinely hurt my feelings.
Speaker 2 (22:43):
I was like, what a weight.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
That's but you're also sometimes tough to shop for it
because you'll say I don't like this right in the moment,
and also on the other end of things, you'll buy
yourself a lot of stuff too, so it's like, yeah,
hard to kind of like navigate that.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
I feel like it's as if I'm opening a bar
with dumb bells. That's kind of what I feel like.
It's not what's the difference when you wear and when
you do this when you're just curling around the neighbor.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
I know I am so cooked out his men, I know, don't.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
I know you still get the.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
I sound crazy. I know that, and I'm sure my
d ms are like you. I'm sure, I'm.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
Sure, but it's just kind of I was just so
saddened like that, that's why.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Should he have gifted you that for your birthday? Because
I don't think you'd like that.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
I don't think you should have gifted me that at all.
I think that's like if I wanted to get a
weight vest to do the.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Wait, what do you mean?
Speaker 5 (23:47):
I would have bought that for myself. I don't want
that as like a thoughtful gift.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
The thoughtfulness of him, I know.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
The saying. It's the thought that I know.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
I know trying to help.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
This is what women actually want in like a j
which is that someone could gifted us something. I think,
all right, especial he knows you see the thing is
that he knows that you're health conscious. So he's like, Yo,
she's gonna love this because she talks about this a lot,
So let's do it. And she's gonna find value in this.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
You know what I mean. You jewelry ain't gonna help
you lose.
Speaker 7 (24:22):
This is you.
Speaker 5 (24:23):
Guys are gonna think I'm lying, and I'm dead serious.
I would rather him return that weight, vest take me
to pancakes and get me flowers than that than than
a weight.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Well, I think that's my question. What are you gonna
do on Sunday? Because he's unaware.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
That now it's going to be terrible pretending.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
You have a hard time pretending in situations like that.
At what point are you gonna snack? And he's gonna
the weight restaurant and then all of a sudden, she's
gonna snack.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I guess I'll wear it for my pancakes. I guess
I'll wear it if.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
You see me at the corner Cafe Marshfield and my
Weighted Best say nothing.
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Hi everybody, Good morning Ashley.
Speaker 5 (25:06):
In the day worry So somebody left me a shockingly
the messages are pretty nice right now, but somebody left
me a message and goes.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
You better hope that.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
That woman that hates you that leaves talkbacks is not
listening right now, because.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Sure has some trouble. You're in some drubs.
Speaker 5 (25:20):
This is the type like maybe I didn't articulate it properly,
but this talk like that we got is kind of
how I.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Feel, Ashley.
Speaker 17 (25:29):
I would be upset about the weighted Best to One
year for Mother's Day, my husband gifted me a comforter
set and I was livid. I literally threw a tantrum
and left the house because how are you gonna get
me something that we are both going to use, We're
gonna share it. This is not a gift for me,
This is a gift for the house.
Speaker 12 (25:48):
It would be like buying me a vacuue.
Speaker 17 (25:51):
I was so disappointed, So be upset about that weighted Best.
Let your man know, get yourself some jewelry.
Speaker 5 (25:57):
Just m Somebody also hit me and was like you
know what. I feel like I'm new to the Mother's
Day thing because we just had it.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
It was a guy. He's like, I'm new to this
because we just had a kid a year ago.
Speaker 5 (26:06):
So maybe it's just like it is, you know, it's
not something that he's had to do a lot.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Would you rather be asked what you want from Mother's
Day or surprised with something that you like?
Speaker 5 (26:15):
I'd literally rather go out and have pancakes and him
get me flowers and we have a couple of mimosas
than awaited workout.
Speaker 3 (26:24):
Best is that what you're gonna do this Sunday?
Speaker 2 (26:26):
Then, I don't know because if the best is given before,
it might not go well.
Speaker 5 (26:29):
The pancakes might not pancake if the but that is
the game plan either way.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
It's the.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Actually and the jam. In Morning Show with DJ Feign, It's.
Speaker 8 (26:41):
Saunty When you need to know, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's Number one for
hip Hop and the best throwbags you haven't.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
Any more five baby Most.
Speaker 5 (26:55):
We have a Pope Friday, May ninth, and Pope Leo
is gonna be our guy.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
The conclave elected.
Speaker 5 (27:02):
American born Cardinal Cardinal Robert Francis Provos.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
He's gonna go by good old Pope.
Speaker 5 (27:10):
Leo sixty nine years old, born in Shytown, graduated from
Villanova University in nineteen seventy seven. Sixty nine years old,
but looking spry man. Fun fact for you, the first
American to be elected as pope.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
Listen. I wasn't whoever was gonna be pope was gonna
be pope. But the whole I love.
Speaker 5 (27:30):
I love like rich, rich history, and I think it's
so dope the way they do the conclave and the
black smoke and the white smoke, and how exciting it.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
Was when that white smoke.
Speaker 5 (27:39):
And I was like, oh, if you got to be
in Rome for that man, Timothy Shalloman, Kylie Jenner were.
Speaker 3 (27:45):
Doing it up selfishly. What sucks is I was in
Rome in August. I missed it by like seven months.
I would have given anything just to be there.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
I think even if you aren't Catholic, you can respect
the way in which they.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Do the things.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
Definitely all there's a big part of the history that
like is really better things. Hopefully clean things up. Yeah, fact,
And I hope he doesn't have anything in his past.
Speaker 5 (28:09):
I hope, Well, I'm sure that's why I took, you know,
a few days for them to figure it out. Listen, everybody,
everybody that talks about him speaks insanely high about highly
of him. And A J was just saying, like how
crazy it is, Like you go to sleep and you
wake up near the pope, Like how much things can
change for you overnight.
Speaker 18 (28:25):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
He was a missionary who spent his career ministering in
Peru and then led the Vatican's Office of Bishops. Again,
no one has come out and being like, let.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
Me tell you about Pope Leo. Yeah, haven't heard it yet.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
He did have some tweets that upside a few people,
but besides that, I haven't heard anything bad. Oh do
tell Yeah, he got kind of political on the which
side with the right side leaning right or leaning No,
he's not a fan of trumping JD. Vance And he
tweeted a few things like twenty sixteen people. But well
they're not really bad. But he definitely got political.
Speaker 2 (28:59):
Not the other cards. They were fine with it.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yeah, they were good.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
So the white smoke has white smoked did and Pop Leo,
it shall be all right for let's talk new music overnight.
We got some stuff the first thing that I saw
this morning on my timeline was a remix with.
Speaker 6 (29:18):
Doci on the weekend, Yes, the weekend Playboy CARDI, who,
of course are going to be on tour. They did
the DOCI remix. She jumped on the verse of course
dochi We know recently in the news for her meltdown
unbrelegate at gala where she kind of issued an apology
but not really. And also more importantly, she got announced
as Woman of the Year, I believe by Billboard.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
But here's the remix.
Speaker 6 (29:38):
Her verse on the remix of Timeless came.
Speaker 17 (29:41):
I just CD and up brigains of crops and strip
up down to wet stock, pulling up block stock in
that stock.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Someone when this is no easter? Delecreman Craft, do you mean?
Do you do you mean? I just went the teen
I've been to the hills.
Speaker 8 (29:59):
I did the see my breakroad, saying number You'll never
believe it's ability on the streams happen the book that
you danced on the blee just a practice legs and
she hands over me.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
I don't want you to wear my hands on my knees.
I do so easy. Listen.
Speaker 5 (30:14):
She might abuse her staff, but I like her music
boss for sure.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Really, she really.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Definitely is a rapper.
Speaker 6 (30:20):
Let's take it to South Africa now, Tyler, we're gonna
keep it with the females who's also been doing hard thing. Yeah,
she's pretty and she's on fire. This almost I feel
like she drops music down there every week. But here
goes another single from her. She's alone on. There's no
features this on it. It's called Bliss.
Speaker 19 (30:37):
I don't wanna be about you, baby, I don't want
to let you on my side. I don't wanna I
don't wanna ever break away from you. On the line
Michael and lit the sme bring my burden, Zia.
Speaker 11 (30:57):
Arms around me.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
It's a bill. I am pressed.
Speaker 16 (31:01):
Page.
Speaker 2 (31:02):
I just got all this when.
Speaker 19 (31:07):
The pies that take me.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I like when the beat picks up right there. I
started out real nice and slow and then the beat
that's nice.
Speaker 3 (31:25):
How you think about it?
Speaker 16 (31:25):
On he doesn't think, he does not think about it.
Speaker 6 (31:29):
He's going, I like to want a lot better. Okay,
I mean again, Tyler. You know she's got a lot
of hits, and I see what she's doing. She's kind
of trying to be in every pocket of music so
you can enjoy her vastly, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (31:40):
She was talked about a lot of the Macalla.
Speaker 6 (31:41):
Yes, out of this gorgeous and like I said, she's
a beautiful woman and makes dope music. So I was bliss.
Now can we take it behind the wall? And before
I play this next song?
Speaker 2 (31:50):
Is dropping an exclusive?
Speaker 6 (31:52):
Is that not even shock? Why couldn't you say Tormy
Lane's But it's all good? What's happening with the studios
in prison?
Speaker 12 (31:58):
Like?
Speaker 6 (31:58):
Do they got like the top not studios? Guess who
just dropped the record? That surprised me even at midnight.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
I know the answer because I can see it.
Speaker 6 (32:07):
But Son, I'm gonna give you a guest. He ran
the Summer for what two three, maybe even four years?
I covered one. I remember the moment he gave the
Summer jam Lates. Yeah, and he drove himself there with
a like a mad cars I.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Was gonna say it was like a legit motor case.
Speaker 5 (32:27):
And he was an hour late and we were frantic.
Did not think he was gonna show up. He showed
up and just killed it. And now he's locked up.
Speaker 6 (32:33):
He's been locked up because of some drug charges. I mean,
the fall for this guy, like I said he was
running the summer for like four or five years maybe,
and then the fall for him is just it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (32:42):
But anyway, if the quality of this song is better
than some of the people who call in to play
us their music, I'm gonna be upset.
Speaker 6 (32:49):
The song is called Forever and then he puts his
uh his inmate number at the end of it. I
guess they want some pen pals. But this is Fetti
Wap's new song called Forever.
Speaker 14 (33:00):
You goods.
Speaker 20 (33:04):
Look de benching my soul, A promise you will and
sad a shocking, I love some my shop.
Speaker 19 (33:26):
Go over again.
Speaker 2 (33:29):
Well no, I'm I'm blown away right now.
Speaker 5 (33:38):
Do you know what this is going to make a
lot of overcoming rappers look at themselves long and hard
in the mirror, because if your quality isn't that, then again, we.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
Got pro tools in jail cell this guy.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
So he had to have done it over.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
The or an iPhone.
Speaker 6 (33:54):
Admittedly, yes, unless this is an old record that they
somehow flipped and may sound bad, but he's kind of
talking about losing it, all about people needing him.
Speaker 16 (34:02):
For things, and you can hear the like TV headlines
talking about it that was in the vision where they
were kind of giving you the little TV headlines.
Speaker 6 (34:08):
But yes, my assumption is is that he recorded this
in prison and then dropped it. I mean, the quality
top notch, the production top notch, the vibe of it.
This guy, if there's one thing Freddy Wapa knew how
to do was make music. I don't know what he
did with the rest of his life, but that definitely
was about for me.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
That's music.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
Yeah, that's something I'll be playing. But anyway, that was
new music Friday for Today on Friday obviously because it's
new music, thank you.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
It comes after Thursday every week. I know I'm not
let me yeah listen, you know me Monday and I'll
be like, all right, off to deatim we go. Karen Reid,
retrial is picking up some action.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
You know we I think we said it meteorologists, people
talking about Google searches.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
It was it was lowing us to sleep below bit,
you know it was.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
But Yuri buchaniic on the stand yesterday from sun up
to sundown, and he will be back on the stand
this morning. His testimony is so interesting to me because
he was a guy and he was there from the
very beginning to the very end. He had said multiple times,
all of our evidence was pointing one direction. Just a
few things that stood out to me from his testimony,
(35:22):
First and foremost, when he spoke to Karen Read the
initial time, she told him straight up that John O'Keefe
never went into the house at thirty four Fairview. She
has since changed that, but that is what he is claiming,
she said initially.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Along with I could have hit him.
Speaker 9 (35:39):
Did I hit him?
Speaker 2 (35:40):
I hit him? Those he said, I don't even know
the way he said it. He was like those type
of things. But under him was one Michael Proctor.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
And I'll tell you what Alan Jackson put on a
clinic yesterday and proving his point that yeah, you're a
You might have been the guy, but under you was
Michael Proctor, and Michael practor or had his hands in everything.
Speaker 9 (36:06):
Was that a question?
Speaker 12 (36:06):
I'm sorry everything I say question Honor and integrity by Michael.
Speaker 11 (36:12):
Okay, sustained to the comment go ahead and ask you again, you.
Speaker 12 (36:18):
Said, and integrity by Michael Procter.
Speaker 7 (36:23):
Okay, I love it.
Speaker 13 (36:28):
The investigation was conducted with honor and integrity, and all
the evidence pointed in one direction, in one direction only, So.
Speaker 14 (36:35):
Sergeant Buchanan, You don't want to answer my question.
Speaker 7 (36:40):
Correct.
Speaker 9 (36:42):
I will answer your question absolutely.
Speaker 10 (36:46):
Do you think this case was handled with honor and
integrity by Michael Proctor?
Speaker 14 (36:52):
Sergeant?
Speaker 13 (36:54):
The investigation was handled with integrity by Michael Proctor.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
He left out honor. But it's fine, listen. I thought
that Daddy Al had hatred for Jenn McCabe. It's not
anything for what he has for Uri and Michael Proctor.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
Let me tell you there was a moment during the
cross where Uri basically was like, oh, I'm sorry, sir,
like let me, I don't know if I can answer that.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
I'm sorry, and Alan goes, not sorry, You're not sorry.
Speaker 5 (37:22):
We all know you're not sorry. Like they were having
exchanges like that between the two of them. It was, uh,
it got hot in there. Form brought it up. At
one point, Alan Jackson objected.
Speaker 2 (37:33):
Himself because he was like, I'm getting getting away from mself.
Speaker 5 (37:35):
He also there was a sidebar, and during the sidebar
we basically found out that Alan Jackson is like he's
answering and then he's giving contacts I want to guess
or no answer. So Bev had to say to him,
answer the questions, you know, answer the question that has
asked of you. You know, there was even a part
during where he had to hold up for the jury
John O'Keeffe's shirt that he was wearing in the hospital,
(37:56):
John O'Keeffe's sweatshirt, his shoe.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
I mean, we're we're hearing from the guy, the guy,
the guy who.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
Was one of the first on the hospital, in the
hospital to take the evidence, you know, things like that.
So yesterday was really interesting telling you know, like I said,
I think if you're somebody who is on the on
the side of the aisle where you believe Karen Reid
did it, I at least think you can take a
step back and realize that there there's a master at
work and Alan Jackson is amazing at.
Speaker 14 (38:23):
What he does.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
Yeah, and there was a lot of hatred between the two.
Speaker 3 (38:27):
Do we get the sense that practice coming up soon?
Because I feel like that's when the conversation last couple
of days in there, we feel that way.
Speaker 5 (38:34):
But Karen Reid was outside of court saying she doesn't
believe that Michael Procter is going to take the stand.
So that's a good question for Nick Rocco. I'm sure Nick,
will you know, maybe have some insight on that. I
got a couple dms from people who had questions for Nick.
He has confirmed he'll be on here in a couple
of minutes. If you have anything, you can leave as
a talkback on the app right now for Nick Rocco,
or you can DM me at Ashley Feldman two. He's
(38:56):
on the Ashley. He will join us next And that's
three things need to know for Friday, May ninth.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
Good morning, Dashy and jam.
Speaker 1 (39:04):
In Morning Show with DJ four and it's such a morning.
Speaker 8 (39:08):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jamming ninety four five.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 5 (39:21):
As always, nobody is shying away from any conversation, especially
a Nick Rocco. So if you have anything you want
to ask him while we're live, you can do that
six one seven nine three one four five.
Speaker 2 (39:35):
You can leave us talkbacks. You can also DM me.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
I've gotten a lot of messages already thus far, questions
for Nick.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Nick, good morning, good morning, How you doing good?
Speaker 5 (39:47):
So you and I were just chatting right before we
came on air, and I had said to you that
you know again I for a lack of better words,
because what we're trying to do here is find out
what happens to John O'Keefe, and there was a life loss,
and I never want us to forget that because he
should still be here today. But this week, you know,
(40:08):
some of the testimonies lullg you a little bit. I said,
you know, for instance, like a meteorologist, and you said, no, Ash,
a meteorologist is very important for people who maybe were
like a me and thought, I'm not going to watch
the testimony today. I'll wait until, you know, a bigger
player gets on talk about why other people that were
on the stand this week are important.
Speaker 7 (40:31):
So with the meteorologist, yes, we learned this was one
of the biggest storms in January's history. But the most
important thing that he said was majority of the snow
came after six o'clock. So when Jen McCabe and Julie
Nagel and Sarah Levinston were pretty much one of the
last people to leave that house at one forty five,
(40:52):
there was only zero point eight inches, so not even
an inch of snow on the ground yet. And as
Sarah had stated, you know there you could still see
the grass through the snow, which would mean that if
John O'Keefe was laying on the lawn point eight inches
of snow was not covering his body. You would not
miss him laying there on the lawn. Fast forward to
(41:13):
six in the morning when Karen Reid finds him, there's
only three point nine inches of snow on the ground,
which still would not cover a human body. So you
would still see him out there on the lawn. Hence
why she was able to see him.
Speaker 5 (41:27):
To play Devil's advocate here, because I know this was
brought up, there were lights on in the house that
would have lit up the front part of the lawn,
But do we believe that over by the flagpole it
would have been lit enough that you would have seen
a body, right, because you could argue that it was
one something in the morning, it's dark out, but you're looking.
Speaker 7 (41:47):
When you're looking for something, your eyes are more peeled.
And for example, they left Jen McCabe's house, they went
to John's house to look for John. The next place
they were going to look for John was thirty four
fear of you, so they they they were going there
to look for him. Hence, so if if the house
is on the left hand side, you're going to be
looking out the left hand side, and don't forget Kerry
(42:09):
Robertson's car. You know, she claims it was. It was
horrible conditions, so she was probably driving in the middle
of the road and then and the headlights they don't
just they don't just go completely straight. They do go
out to the left a little bit and to the
right of your vehicle. So the yard probably was lit
up with her with her.
Speaker 5 (42:28):
I'm specifically talking about when Jen Jen Mett and Sarah
Levinson and the other girl that was with them, the
four of them left. You're saying there wasn't a lot
of snow on the ground, they should have been able
to identify his body had it been outside. But my
point is, what if it was legit just dark because
remember she said, she said, I was looking down at
my feet.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
It was slippery. We got in the car and we left.
Speaker 5 (42:51):
Okay, why would they Why would they if why would
they ever be looking for something?
Speaker 2 (42:56):
You know what I mean, Like, it's you're leaving a party.
It was fun, is it.
Speaker 7 (42:58):
I'm not going to be like they back out of
the driveway. Right, once you back out of that driveway
and you're about to throw your car into drive, your
vehicle is literally pointing at the flagpole, Like, your headlights
are directly on the flagpole. But unfortunately, Jen, Julie and
Sarah were all talking about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
(43:20):
at the time, so they weren't looking out the windows.
But Matt's driving, Matt's eyes are straight ahead, you know.
Jen said, Matt was focused on the road the whole time.
So if he throws his car into drive when he's
when he throws that car and drive, his headlights are
literally on the flagpole. Like John, John wasn't that far
off from the street, so it's not like he was
(43:41):
like deep into the wooded area he was. He was
very close to the street. Don't forget, when Julie Nagel
gets on the stand, she quote unquote saw a black blob,
so she had saw something but didn't tell anybody for
eight months later. So the stories just don't add up.
Brian Higgins, for example, if his jeep was really parked
(44:03):
out front the minute he put his cow on and
his and his headlights came on, John o'keef would have
been right there. Yeah, there's just no way that anybody
would have missed him.
Speaker 5 (44:12):
The Brian Higgins thing, I can see, but I don't.
I left Marshfield this morning at three something in the morning.
I couldn't tell you what was on anybody. I'm sorry,
like just I'm saying just to play the other side
of it, but I do see exactly what you're saying as.
Speaker 7 (44:28):
Well as well. Every everything it gets a little bit
lighter out, Like the ground is is all white, so
which which is going to reflect the moonlight? Everything gets
a little bit lighter outside when when there's snow on
the ground, and even if it's a dusting on the ground,
it still makes everything seem a little bit brighter. There
was there was no snow on the street, as as
(44:49):
the meteorologist testified to you. You know, you would have
been able to track a cat, but they're the most
likely in the street. You wouldn't have seen like tire marks,
which Jen McCabe claims she had seen it the time.
Speaker 3 (45:01):
So there's just so much no there is, there's no
there is.
Speaker 5 (45:04):
There's so much you could depending on who you're taling
to set a perfect scene.
Speaker 2 (45:10):
I feel like for each side, you you really really could,
you know.
Speaker 5 (45:15):
And then there's there's the argument of when police came
on scene still staying in the meteorology, realm in the snow,
and all these things. There were no there was no
evidence to back that a body had been either drug
out to the street, carried out, No shoeprints, no evidence
of that.
Speaker 7 (45:34):
Well, here's here's the issue with that. It's depending on
what time Jon O'Keefe was put outside on the lawn.
It was continuing to snow, so any footprints or drag
marks could have potentially been covered up with snow. But
here's the thing is, I personally don't think he was
actually I don't think they dragged him out there, like
like you know, ass on the ground, dragged out there.
(45:56):
I think he was carried out there. I don't think
they actually When when people say he was dragged out there,
I think they're assuming like he was literally dragged by
his hands exactly like yeah, I'm.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Taking hands under the shoulder on the button.
Speaker 7 (46:08):
Yes, Yeah, if anything, I would say he would have
been carried outside, not not actually dragged outside.
Speaker 6 (46:15):
Okay, it is yeah, like you've had so many people
seeing you because he's a tall guy and he's heavy,
so you're carrying dead weight. It's gonna take a few
yah to carry him walk him out into the yard
and then drop him like and you're risking everybody seeing you,
that your co work across the street. The cop to
see you too.
Speaker 7 (46:36):
Oh Ford Edge parked exactly where John o'keef's body was found.
That's why the plow driver couldn't get down the street.
So was that vehicle there on purpose to block anything
that was happening at the time. And if John o'keeff
was on the lawn at twelve thirty thirty two, like
the Commonwealth's claiming, and that vehicle was there, let's say
at three in the morning, that person who parked the
(46:57):
car had to have gotten out of the vehicle. There's
no way they would have missed John. He literally popped
right next door him.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
So to you Nick, when Sarah Levinson gets on the
stand and she says it was happy.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
It was a party, we were playing music there. Nothing
changed when the adults.
Speaker 5 (47:14):
Got to the house. Whatever, we got into the car,
we left, we went home. I stopped drinking.
Speaker 2 (47:18):
So I can you know you think she is just
bold face line under oath?
Speaker 7 (47:24):
Well, I think I've stated this before. You know, depending
where you are in that house, when you walk so
that you have the front door and you have the
side door, the front door. I don't know if you've
ever seen the layout of the house. If you walk
through the front door, you have a door on your left,
which is a big room they called a study, and
then maybe three feet forward is the door to go downstairs.
(47:46):
So John could have easily walked in and went right
downstairs or something like that. So there could have been
people in the kitchen that they didn't see him. So realistically,
some of those people that were in the house really
may not have saw John. They may really not have
seen them. But at this point they I am sure
they're aware of what happened. But but anybody in New
(48:07):
England knows less than an inch of snow. That's nothing.
I mean, you use people bob aque and pointing inches
of snow.
Speaker 2 (48:16):
We're living We're living out our normal day with an
inch of snow. I will I will confirm that.
Speaker 7 (48:21):
For these people to say though, like oh I was
looking down at my feet, I had to be very
careful walking, It's like this isn't you live in New England.
Speaker 3 (48:29):
This is nothing, This is slipper.
Speaker 2 (48:31):
I mean, what kind of traction she had and the
old navy flip flop.
Speaker 7 (48:38):
Fom They remember details like that, like I was looking
down at my feet, or I was talking about peanut
butter and jelly sandwiches, but they don't remember anything else.
Speaker 5 (48:48):
Well, she'd you know, come on, let's be specific. Sarah
Levinson does the other ones. I'll give you, But I
I thought her testimony was pretty damning for Karen because
she stopped drinking, she had dinner there, she was the
entire night, and she's like, listen, nothing.
Speaker 2 (49:02):
Was awry, like we were hanging out. It was fine.
It was a party.
Speaker 5 (49:07):
We also heard the voicemails this week, Nick, you know these.
I'm gonna play just a little recap on some of
Karen's voicemails.
Speaker 9 (49:15):
John John, I'm going home.
Speaker 13 (49:19):
I cannot maybe sit in me.
Speaker 21 (49:21):
I need to go home.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
You are using me right now.
Speaker 7 (49:24):
You're another girl leathing next to me. You're a loser yourself.
Speaker 5 (49:33):
Listen, Karen's craziness and her voicemails doesn't mean she killed
John O'Keefe.
Speaker 2 (49:38):
That's a fact.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
But I don't know, necessarily if you're in the jury,
if those voicemails play well for you, because you know,
we all I guess the jury doesn't know it yet.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
Because we haven't got there, but we all know it's.
Speaker 5 (49:52):
Interesting to hear Karen call John a pervert when she
was having a little something something on the side with
Brian Higgins. No.
Speaker 7 (50:01):
Yeah, so I was there that day. I watched, I
watched the jury. During these voicemails, a few of them
took notes down, but it didn't really seem to phase
them much because of the fact, I think where you
just said, it's not evidence that she had killed him.
What what they're what the what the state is trying
to do is show motive. Now you have you have
(50:22):
Karen Reid on these voicemails. These would be self incriminating herself.
She would basically be admitting to what she had done
if she had if she had hit him. Most most
people would call and be like, John, you know, I
wish you left with me, I wish you came home.
Speaker 3 (50:39):
You know where are you?
Speaker 7 (50:40):
I miss you?
Speaker 2 (50:43):
If you're so drunk you don't remember.
Speaker 7 (50:45):
But when you hear when you hear Karen on the scene, okay,
that that's that's genuine and that's raw emotion of finding her,
of finding her boyfriend. If she had known, if she
knew she hit John, O'Keeffe. That reaction would have been
a lot faker. She wouldn't have been able to She
wouldn't have been able to act the way that she
did on scene when she found John O'Keeffe had she
known she did something earlier. But don't don't forget too
(51:10):
everybody at the bar that puts them at the bar.
I know, we haven't seen a lot of the witnesses yet,
and we may not see these witnesses called by the state,
but from the last trial at least everybody says that
she wasn't She wasn't like nobody was drunk. They weren't drunk.
She wasn't stumbling, she wasn't slurring her words. She was
okay to drive. So because of the blood alcohol level,
(51:31):
we don't know what her tolerance is. For example, she
might have a higher tolerance than I do. She may
drink more than I do, so she might she might
be able to handle this stuff. So you know, in that.
Speaker 2 (51:42):
On the team and said that, I've always said that.
Speaker 5 (51:49):
All right, Nick, I have a couple of things. Well,
let's let's let's play the clip from Uri Uri was
did you were you able to? I know you have
life and a job, were you able to Okay? Okay,
so Uri took the stand yesterday all day. He'll be
back on again today. Here's just a little clip of
a back and forth between Alan Jackson and Yurie Bukanek.
Speaker 9 (52:12):
Was that question, I'm sorry, is everything I say question
honor and integrity?
Speaker 12 (52:16):
Michael Prompter?
Speaker 1 (52:18):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (52:19):
Sustained to the comment, go ahead and ask you again.
Speaker 3 (52:23):
You said.
Speaker 12 (52:25):
Honor and integrity by Michael Proctor.
Speaker 7 (52:29):
Okay, I love it.
Speaker 13 (52:34):
The investigation was conducted with honor and integrity, and all
the evidence pointed in one direction, in one direction only.
Speaker 14 (52:40):
So, Sergeant Buchanic, you don't want to answer my question.
Speaker 9 (52:45):
Correct, I will answer your question absolutely.
Speaker 10 (52:51):
Do you think this case was handled with honor and
integrity by Michael Proctor?
Speaker 13 (52:58):
Sergeantstigation was handled with integrity by Michael Proctor.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Nick I said it earlier. I don't care what side
you're on.
Speaker 5 (53:06):
I think Alan Jackson put on a clinic yesterday of
doing exactly what he.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
Needed to do, which was paint the picture that.
Speaker 5 (53:14):
Yeah, Yuri, you may have been the guy, you may
have been in charge, but every document, all these documents
I'm showing most things that involved this investigation at thirty
four of air View and the Death of John O'Keefe
had a pawprint from Michael Procter on it.
Speaker 7 (53:30):
Wait, what house are we talking about? I'm just kidding.
That's a year.
Speaker 3 (53:33):
That's a year exactly what I'm saying.
Speaker 7 (53:41):
Yeah, I mean listen, you know, Ury wants to obviously
defend Michael Proctor because at the end of the day,
it's a reflection of him, Like he's boss. So so
if if he was, does he truly believe that? Absolutely not.
But can he say that in front of in front
of a jury, no, because then that's that's case ending.
If if you have your boss admitting that, yeah, my
(54:04):
guy underneath me did a horrible job with this investigation,
what is that? What is that going to show? So
it's it's Yuri is going to get a lot more today.
It's not going to be the end of his testimony,
that's for sure.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
No way, I think we're just building up.
Speaker 7 (54:20):
All right.
Speaker 5 (54:20):
A ton of questions have come in, son, do you
want me to do some from Instagram first? Or do
you want to go to the phones on Instagram first?
All right, So the first one I have for you
is Nick, will you see if Nick knows anything about
why evidence was in plexiglass. Some of the evidence is
shown in the grocery store type bags where the uh,
they have to be cut open with the gloves. Other
(54:41):
evidence like John's shirt and his sweatshirt were shown in plexiglass.
Does that mean the jury gets to keep them after
for full viewing.
Speaker 7 (54:49):
Yeah, I'm not sure about that. I haven't seen that before,
and when I was on when I was talking with
Vinnie from cour TV last night, he also said he's
never seen that before. My only guests could potentially be
that there's some pretty damning evidence on John's sweatshirt, which
would be the bitemarks from Chloe's teeth, and the sleeve
(55:13):
doesn't show rips or anything like that from tailight, but
what it shows is puncture holes of something entering and
then also exiting, So they'll only be able to see
that in pictures and not actually physically on the sweatshirt.
Speaker 5 (55:27):
That's interesting, Yeah, because you would think there would be
rips on the sweatshirt as well.
Speaker 7 (55:33):
Yeah, no rips, only only puncture holes.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Okay, why didn't Karen say to Jen while they were
looking for John. I've actually thought this too.
Speaker 5 (55:44):
This is an interesting question what happened when he got
in the house, Jen, what time did he leave, who
was he with, how was he acting in there? There's
so many questions that she didn't ask, Jen McCabe or
even the police officers when she was first interviewed. I
would have been asking a million times, why didn't my
man come home?
Speaker 7 (56:01):
Jen? Well, I mean, when I've never found anybody dead
that I loved on a lawn. So I don't know
what I would what type of questions I would be
asking at the time. I think I think a chaotic
scene like that, really you kind I think you have
to be in the moment and to just know how
(56:21):
it is. I mean, it's a good question to ask
why she didn't ask those, but I don't think. I
don't think there's like a real answer for that, because
everybody's going to act differently in that type of situation.
Some people might handle it a lot better, yeah than others,
you know what I mean? For that, that's something you
would just I don't.
Speaker 5 (56:40):
Fight that argument because I have said before, and I
say this all the time. We talk about everybody. Everybody
knows everybody, all of a sudden is an extra Well,
why didn't Jerry do this when you got on scene.
Why didn't you know Karen say this? And that, like everybody,
we are all outsiders looking in and we all feel
like we could have done a better job securing the area.
And you don't know what you're gonna do until you're
(57:02):
you're actually in it. I think that goes for both sides.
Beth is in Providence.
Speaker 2 (57:08):
Hi, Beth, good morning, Good morning, Beth. You're on with
Nick Rocko. Good morning. Go ahead and ask your question.
Speaker 4 (57:16):
Good morning.
Speaker 21 (57:17):
I said it last week, Nick, and I can't wait
to give you a hug when you finally figure it out.
I don't really know what kind of propels people who
are on the FKR side.
Speaker 7 (57:27):
It seems like.
Speaker 21 (57:29):
Instead of actually showing evidence, you always just put up
a like a defense for like somebody who's like super
insecure as to why all this stuff makes sense. But
as far as the when they found him, I don't
understand why she said right where I left him. If
she thought he went in the house where she said
(57:51):
he went in the house, why wasn't she like going
towards the door, well, I mean that's where he was.
Speaker 7 (57:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (57:56):
That was a big part of URI's testimony. In the
very beginning when Uri was on with the prosecution. He's
in the cross now, so he's speaking to Alan Jackson,
but Nick. So initially when prosecution started talking with Yuri,
we found out that the first thing Yuri Bukanik said
he heard from Karen during her testimony to him when
(58:17):
he interviewed her, was he was right where I left him,
like he never went in the house. He was right
where I left him when he got out of the car.
Speaker 7 (58:27):
Well, again, there's no note, this is not a recorded interview.
And he also said that she said she dropped him
off on the lawn, So she dropped him off, meaning
he got out of the car. We know that he
had to have gotten out of the car, considering the
fact that he was found dead there. But I think
it's a play on words. I mean, we see the
(58:49):
way that Yuri has been trying to dodge dodge questions.
So again, there's no unless Karen takes the stand, there's
no way of proving Yuri to be a liar. But
at the same time, we don't know if those were
the exact words, right, because we don't have a transcript
of Karen from that night, because there was no there's
no notes and there's no recording. Just like Jen mckab
(59:10):
and everybody else gets on the stand, they have to say, oh,
can I see my transcript to make sure I said
exactly those words. Karen unfortunately doesn't have that situation on
her hand.
Speaker 21 (59:21):
Go ahead, Beth, I will also say that I work
in insurance, and your first statements. That's why your calls
are recorded. Your first statements are your most true, and
Karen's first statements are her most true. She's also stayed.
She also stated in her documentary while she was doing
her hair she doesn't want to focus on the T
twenty seven because she knows when the twenty seven gets
(59:44):
explained and proven that it was done at six whatever,
that she doesn't want that to be the catalyst that
proves her guilt.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
Okay, best, thank you for the call. Hey, Nick, I
think we know what side of the aisle best on.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
Well, so I can.
Speaker 7 (59:59):
Understand that, and I can and I can say this
about the two twenty seven. A lot of people think
that's a macro break, but it's really not a macro
break situation. If say, if Jen didn't google that at
two twenty seven, that still doesn't explain John's injuries. John's
injuries to his arm into the back of his head,
his arm injuries are clearly from a dog. So whether
(01:00:19):
Jen McCabe google that or not at two twenty seven,
that's not really the nail on the coffin for Karen Reid,
and the reason why she doesn't Karen doesn't want that
to be the Maco break is the reason I just
explained it don't. The way that this trial has gone
is if Jen didn't google it, Karen did it. But
look at all the other evidence. I mean, you have
the FBI ARCA experts confirmed John O'Keeffe was not struck
(01:00:42):
by a vehicle. You have the medical examiner. The medical
examiner undetermined death because this is not consistent with a
vehicle and pedestrian strike. So tail light does not shatter
into forty seven pieces. It's polycarbonate, It's one of the
strongest plastics known to man. It does not shatter off
(01:01:02):
of an elbow. So even if Jen didn't google this
at two twenty seven, which I'm not saying she didn't,
but if she didn't, there's so much other stuff that
proves Karen's innocence. Aside from the two twenty seven aside
from practice text messages. I mean, it just goes on
and on and on the list of reasonable doubt.
Speaker 5 (01:01:20):
In this case, I have fistfaught myself with this information
and whether I wanted to mention it because it's it's
so gossipy that it's next level. But I have heard
it this week now, I want to say five times.
So I just I have to ask if you've heard
this rumor as well, because it's you know where I'm
(01:01:41):
going with the son with the lung, with the swinger thing.
Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
Do you know what I'm talking about?
Speaker 7 (01:01:48):
Yeah? That was I mean, that's been out there for a.
Speaker 2 (01:01:51):
Long time, okay, and I have never heard this. There
is a rumor Forloren.
Speaker 7 (01:01:56):
I don't know if it's true.
Speaker 5 (01:01:57):
I don't know if it's true either, but we have
these voicemails from Karen Kayeat. People are saying that Karen
left that on John O'Keefe's voicemail because the Albert home
was a known swinger's home.
Speaker 7 (01:02:12):
Yeah, yeah, I got no idea about that. Personally, my
belief as to why she's calling him a pervert would
be because no one knows how to get under your
skin more than your significant other, Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (01:02:26):
And and John O'Keefe was a police officer in the
sex crime Unit. He puts away perverts. He puts away
sexual predators, so to be called a pervert most likely
would get under his skin where he would call her
back and be like, are you calling me a pervert?
You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 21 (01:02:45):
So she was.
Speaker 7 (01:02:46):
She was trying to get she was trying to get
him to answer her. She was being ignored. She was
a woman being ignored, which only angers them more is
their offense to women out there. But it's true.
Speaker 5 (01:02:58):
Is there a world in which you can believe a
scenario that not on purpose but accidentally they got into
this argument. Karen was so hammered drunk that he throws
his cocktail glass at the car. She's mad, she reverses,
she leaves, and she's so drunk.
Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
She gets home.
Speaker 5 (01:03:19):
She has no recollection that she hit them. She's calling
them because she doesn't even remember their exchange. She is
that drunk, and she wakes up in the morning and
she's like, oh my god, maybe I did hit him,
Maybe I did him.
Speaker 2 (01:03:30):
Can you even get your mind to that?
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Or do you feel like the evidence and his injuries
and all that is strong enough to fight.
Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
That's absolutely not. I mean, in the last trial you
heard Arka testify about the fact that they made a
cannon and shot glass at it at the tail light.
They put the tail light in the freezer to make
it the same temperature as Karen's vehicle would have been
at the time, and they shot glass at it to
see if that would have been a pawability that he
(01:04:00):
threw the cocktail glass at it and nothing happened, you
would have to believe that Karen Reid was such a
good driver, not only forward but in reverse reverse to
only strike this dude's elbow at twenty four miles per hour,
say two feet. It didn't happen. It just it did
(01:04:21):
not happen. It didn't happen. It did not happen.
Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
It just did not happen, all right.
Speaker 5 (01:04:29):
As always, I just we're so appreciative. There's nobody better,
especially if you're on the one side of this. Nick Rocco,
thank you for joining us. You're back in court. I'm
assuming earlier in the week, not this week.
Speaker 7 (01:04:40):
I won't be there. I get to my moving so
I get too much going on. But the following week
after that, but I will be paying close attention to it.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
I know you will.
Speaker 5 (01:04:49):
You will join us next Friday at seven point thirty.
We appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
Thank you for the call, See.
Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
You guys later.
Speaker 3 (01:04:59):
There was a lot there. I go back and forth.
Speaker 6 (01:05:01):
I'm like emotionally up and you said it perfectly though,
no matter what side you can spin it to kind
of sue, yeah, I could. We could do this simony
and spin it and be like, this is why this
didn't happened on this side, and this is why it
didn't happen on that.
Speaker 5 (01:05:14):
And I've you saying it and thinking it really is true,
like and people say it all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
You have a house full of cops who like that's
the way their brain works, and the train the plan
they devise, though.
Speaker 6 (01:05:28):
Is to pick the body up and tossing two in
the morning, walk outside, there's a bunch of cops on
that street, and then just drop the I don't believe that.
I'm sorry, I don't. I don't think you know. I'm
on I'm on the side of I don't think like
she really is responsible. But that one is wild. That's
a wild that's a wild. Imagine seeing five people just
picking up up like with a dead body.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
Just watch the wire. McNulty's coming up with something better.
Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
Come on, Just saying, as always, if you have anything
for Nick Rocco, you can always message me at Ashley
Felman to ease on the Ashley.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
He will join us again.
Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
Next week Friday seven thirty. If you missed anything, this
will obviously be podcasted. You can find us on the
free iHeartRadio app search Ashlublee Happy Friday, especially end.
Speaker 1 (01:06:11):
The Jamin Morning Show with DJ fourn It's Santylynn.
Speaker 20 (01:06:15):
You need to know me know.
Speaker 8 (01:06:16):
We got you three things you need to know on
Boston's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks
you haven't any.
Speaker 1 (01:06:23):
More buys a baby most spot man that is Latin four.
Speaker 5 (01:06:29):
We have a Pope Friday, May ninth, Pope Leo, the
fourteenth Man. The conclave has elected American born and Cardinal
Robert Francis Provost.
Speaker 2 (01:06:39):
He has chosen to go by Pope Leo.
Speaker 3 (01:06:42):
It seems like Bob will be an offed well, I
don't want to say in office, but he'll be on
the holy throne. He'll Holy throne from maybe at least
like fifteen to twenty years, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
He looks Spry sixty nine.
Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
In Spry, he was a missionary who spent his career
ministering in Peru, and then he led the Vatican's office
of Bishop. First American to be elected as pope just
makes you feel closer to it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:04):
I mean, I don't even know what I would say
to the Pope, but I would love to be in
the presence of somebody that holy right.
Speaker 5 (01:07:10):
I think you have to be like, hello, God, bless Yeah. Yeah,
part of your no, no, you could say it to him.
That's like part of your pleasantry.
Speaker 3 (01:07:19):
Like honestly, I think you said whatever, but I think
you have to bow your head at the very least something. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Yeah, I remember. It was a huge deal if you
got to see the Pope and he like touched you.
Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
Oh my god, that's like, oh what ud you see ma'am?
Speaker 5 (01:07:35):
White smoke was seen from the chimney and it was
exciting if you were somebody that got to be in
Rome for that, wow, monumental moment. And I think it's
it's again, It's cool. He was from Chicago and then
he went to Villanova in nineteen seventy seven, and everybody
so far that knows him is like this is amazing.
Good dude, Sanchi said, it's you know, he tweeted a
(01:07:56):
little anti Trump stuff at one point in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
But yeah, but that but that's all in the past.
Now he's gonna be breaking bread with the Manwitter.
Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
Under the bridge, all right.
Speaker 5 (01:08:05):
Paul Pierce is a man of his word, and unfortunately
the Celtic really let him down. Paul Pierce said that
if the Celts didn't beat the Knicks in game two,
he was going to walk to work in his bathrobe,
and that man really walked fifteen miles in his bathrobe.
Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
This really wild, though, I can't believe it self. Has
got me out there like this, stop.
Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Chris, it's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:08:30):
He like I said earlier, he looked like he had
either a dementia or b was on drugs, because it
was like he was in his whole bathrobe. He had
to leave his house in the morning. It was so
dark outside. I don't know if you could see something
on the front lawn like that type of thought.
Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
Oh yeah, it was like wow, I thought that.
Speaker 22 (01:08:48):
I mean it was dark and there were like there
was a lot of animal sounds and things it so yeah, yeah,
right by the way, Selter back in action tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (01:08:59):
It's due or die. It's a three thirty tip. Here's
Jason Tatum on his play in the series thus far.
Speaker 17 (01:09:05):
And I take full ownership on the way that I've
played in this series, and you know, can't sugarcoat anything.
Speaker 7 (01:09:14):
I need to be better and.
Speaker 21 (01:09:17):
You know I expect to be a lot better.
Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
They got to get it done.
Speaker 3 (01:09:20):
He actually does, because I feel like the difference between
him and like Kobe is that Kobe was like a
closer and that they wouldn't be in that situation to
be down, to be up by twenty points in both games.
Speaker 6 (01:09:32):
Yeah, and not without a fight. Yeah, breaging the fourth
quarter of the last two games deplorable. They just they
just look like they've been beat you know what I mean,
they will beat down for the whole.
Speaker 3 (01:09:42):
Like least he knows that you stand on.
Speaker 2 (01:09:44):
I think they're the better team, and I still think
the comeback is going to be great. But like it's it.
We're not stop playing around now.
Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
Yeah, let's get serious, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
Let's okay.
Speaker 5 (01:09:55):
A jury has convicted a man who broke into Eminem's home,
not once, twice. Matthew David Hughes was sound guilty of
a first degree home invasion an aggravated stalking charges. Who
is out here stalking Eminem in this day and age
It was in twenty twenty and twenty twenty four.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
I could see you stalking him in two thousand and five.
Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
That's the issue with the fact that he got in
the house twice, that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
You guys always go to this, right, But I don't
think Eminem's like that with the secure retory.
Speaker 6 (01:10:23):
Okay, fine, got better after you're right, Okay, walk the
door to get a ring twice.
Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
This says Hughes received five years of probation after the
first break in, went to jail after violating his parole,
and then, after being released in twenty twenty four, decided
to get into Eminem's compound yet again. And yeah, you're right.
Actually they need to like make the de fence a
little higher.
Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
And talk about having a stand like literally.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Know okay, unrelated, did you all see the Jennifer Anison story. Yeah,
so some crazy stalker dude drives into Jennifer Aniston's home,
like drives through the gate into her house. She's home
at the time. Whatever smashes like smash like crazy land.
Speaker 2 (01:11:07):
His photo came out.
Speaker 5 (01:11:11):
Scary, Like I think had he have like got in
front of her, he would have tried to kill her.
He looked, he had no shirt on. He was like
holding a blanket over his naked body. Creep level type
stuff like he horrifying, obvious mental health.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Issues not but he.
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
But like that doesn't make it safe. Help, But that's
a scary thing.
Speaker 2 (01:11:35):
Yeah, Like he really had no clothes on.
Speaker 5 (01:11:37):
He was holding up the blanket. But he You see that,
imagine somebody like that breaks through your door. I'm fearful. Yeah,
that's okay, Okay, that is.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):

Speaker 5 (01:13:41):
By the way, since we're here and we're talking about
tickets and winning, you know the way right now to
win Kendrick Lamar tickets is to leave the talkbacks. But
I can tell you that on Monday there will there
will be something very special almost every single hour during
the show.
Speaker 2 (01:13:56):
That's what I can say.
Speaker 23 (01:13:58):
Something I say I need like I've been day one, Kendrick,
like I taught Kendrick on I at the Middle East,
like wow, plus years ago, Like I need to go.
We've been trying to win, But I know you gotta
do the talk backting and I tried it once and
I'm gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Try to get Yeah, well listen, if you don't feel
like doing it, just wait for Monday. Stay locked in.
I promise you Monday will be a good payoff for you.
Then all right, I'm rest happy mom you too, thank you,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
You got a vest that makes it heavier for Mother's Day. Like,
think about that. That's the way you do.
Speaker 5 (01:14:36):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:14:37):
I already have the weight of the world on me
and now this do this. MD is in Boston wants
to talk Celtics.
Speaker 13 (01:14:45):
MD.
Speaker 2 (01:14:46):
Do you think they can come back and get it done?
Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
Yeah?
Speaker 24 (01:14:52):
The first of all, and I'm a second saying I
supposed to this for the butter of my hat every time. Please,
when I go out and play in parts of the play,
I'm a full supportive of Setics. First of all, we
don't the first game will play. We're not supposed to
(01:15:12):
goole over times with New York.
Speaker 2 (01:15:16):
We're not supposed to go into overtimes with New York.
Speaker 5 (01:15:18):
I agree on that we we are the better team
and we should have won in regulation both times.
Speaker 1 (01:15:24):
You're welcome, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:15:26):
Okay, We're not supposed to goof of over time with
New York. It's not a team that we have to
whoople over time. Is that will play a Warrior or
play Liquers or Cleveland. That woofer over time is not
a thing that you kneel A woof of over time.
Speaker 5 (01:15:43):
Well, I agree with you, but it has so now
the question at hand is going into New York.
Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Oh and two, can they come back and win the series?
Do you feel that in your soul?
Speaker 21 (01:15:53):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:15:55):
You, like I said to you right now, like I
said to you, I'm gonna say for Setics that game
is over. I'm not lying to you because Niia not
gonna lie. Also, go and come out of Boston. They're
not gonna do that. The friend to get to is
already over to mar game.
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
Wow, that's what if Jaylen Brown's listening to the show
right now. That's hurtful.
Speaker 4 (01:16:19):
Okay, look look at the second game to playing, the
second game to play that I did just until making
a clean point shot your point. Shout White, you make
it to your point, shout Waken.
Speaker 3 (01:16:28):
Go to the ring.
Speaker 9 (01:16:30):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (01:16:31):
I'm not gonna fight you on that. Like, hey, it
didn't work.
Speaker 5 (01:16:34):
Didn't work the first game, get to the hoop. I
I agree, but I do not agree that they can't
come back and win this series. There's a little something
special in the air. I feel it, and I think
they can get it done.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
We'll see the way. Call me back on Monday.
Speaker 4 (01:16:48):
Just Brown had it ball he make it to your point. Shot,
you're not making a shot. White can go to the ring.
You didn't want to?
Speaker 7 (01:16:54):
Got hurt?
Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
Is it paying all that money?
Speaker 7 (01:16:58):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
Man, it's upset?
Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
All right?
Speaker 3 (01:17:00):
Heystibating himself.
Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
M D call me back on Monday. Let's chat. Okay,
I'm gonna chat after the game on Monday. All right,
Go Celtics for the love of God, listen.
Speaker 5 (01:17:14):
I mean, I would think most Celtics fans would say,
we can come back from this.
Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
We can get it done.
Speaker 3 (01:17:20):
Mathematically. The odds are so I understand that a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
I get it six one seven nine three one one
nine four five six one seven nine three one one
nine four five.
Speaker 2 (01:17:31):
Call me.
Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
We're talking about anything you want. It's to check in
only on jab In ninety four five.
Speaker 2 (01:17:35):
Good morning, take a boat. Hi, everybody, Good morning, It's
Ashley in the jam In Morning Show.
Speaker 5 (01:17:40):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
We're gonna do something different right here. Obviously this is
the check in.
Speaker 5 (01:17:44):
We got so many talkbacks about this while Nick Rocco
had joined.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
Us earlier that I we just called and text Nick.
Speaker 5 (01:17:52):
I I asked Nick to come back on because I
got too many messages about it, and I would hate
for you guys to not get an answer on it.
The shoes John O'Keefe's one shoe that was found at
thirty four Fair of You and the other one that
was collected at the hospital. There was a lot of
back and forth about those shoes yesterday. Here's just one
of the talkbacks we received.
Speaker 18 (01:18:12):
Hey, guys, can we talk about how Yury pulled out
the right shoe labeled thirty four fair View Road for
bag and bag, But the day previous the left shoe
was also shown backed and jagged at thirty four fair
View Road. So where's the shoe from the hospital.
Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
I'm getting a lot of messages about this too. People
are showing side by sides. Wait, how can this shoe
be that shoe? I didn't even know this, Nick, you
do have an answer for us on it.
Speaker 7 (01:18:42):
Yeah, So basically, Yury Buchannick pulls out a shoe that
was shown the day before that was supposedly found at
thirty four fair of View Road, which I do want
to add that shoe that was found at thirty four
fav of You Road was very dirty. It was found
in snow, and when it was shown to us in court,
it was very clean, as if it either wasn't the
(01:19:04):
same shoe or they cleaned it, which would definitely be
against the rules because you're not supposed to alter with evidence.
But what he did was he pulled out a shoe
and claimed that it was from thirty four Fear of
You Road. Hence why there was about a thirty minute sidebar,
and Judge Bev does what she does best and went
into cover up mode and was like, oh, sometimes that happens.
(01:19:24):
There's so much evidence in this case, but really it
shouldn't have happened because that shoe was placed into evidence
the day before by officer I believe it was Keith.
He had shown that shoe and then a sidebar happened.
Alan Jackson and Brennan had gone into a room with
Uri Bucheniic and they obviously had to figure out something.
(01:19:46):
And then when he came back on the stand, he
shows the left shoe that was from the hospital. Now
I don't know exactly what the mix up was or
how that was mixed up, because the evidence bag should
say where the shoe is from. But as we know
seeing other searches and evidence found, they don't keep notes
or reports of things. Hence why we see so many
(01:20:08):
mix ups in this case.
Speaker 5 (01:20:10):
Well they too, Nick, But like Uri said, sometimes they
do it ten eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, nineteen months later, Okay,
it when they get to.
Speaker 7 (01:20:18):
Twenty one months. Well, we do know that the Commonwealth's
memory gets better as time goes on, so that would
make a little bit of sense. But yeah, I mean,
Alan Jackson, I'm sure it's put it this way. If
it's a big deal, Alan Jackson will bring it up.
If he doesn't bring it up, then it was just
an accident and a mistake exactly. That's one thing too.
(01:20:39):
A lot of people are like, well, the shoe found
on the scene had a black sole, and the shoe
shown in the pitcher had a white sole. Listen, this
defense team is on everything. If they think it's a
big deal, they will raise questions to it. If not,
then everybody on the internet needs to chill.
Speaker 2 (01:20:54):
Yeah, that is correct.
Speaker 5 (01:20:56):
Do you know how many times I have to look
at photos Ashley look exul, Ashley look white.
Speaker 2 (01:21:01):
I was like, I'll ask him, I'll ask him, I'll
ask him. I know you're in the midst of a move.
I appreciate you coming back on. Thank you for figuring
out shoegate for us. Appreciate it, you got it. It's nuts.
Speaker 5 (01:21:12):
I was getting side by sides of like, well, how
is this shoe from thirty four to fair of you?
But it's the same shoe that I agree with him.
I think if it's brought up today, Alan Jackson's going
to try to poke holes. But if he does not
even mention the shoes, Guys, it was an accident and
that is why that sidebar was crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:21:28):
It was a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:21:29):
You do assume that the court would be in line
with all the evidence and make sure that everything's checked out, like, yeah, twice.
Speaker 5 (01:21:35):
This has happened already, so who knows, Like there's just
an I don't you know the thought about the shoe
being dirty.
Speaker 2 (01:21:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:21:41):
When they take it to the lab, do they have
to clean it's the principle. I don't know how that works.
Speaker 6 (01:21:45):
Yeah, they can't touch it. They got to leave it
as as almost the way they received it. You might
take some pieces and things off of it. But yeah,
I saw that Nike. I was like, yo, that looks
like a brand new snaker.
Speaker 5 (01:21:55):
Yeah, all right, if we missed anything at Ashley Feldman
two ease on the ash as always, if you're in
the car listening and you're.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Like, damn, I gotta get out of the car.
Speaker 5 (01:22:03):
I want to keep I want to keep listening. I
want to keep following along. Just listen live on the app.
Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
It's free. Come all right, babes, It's just gonna be
me doing the goodbye here.
Speaker 5 (01:22:11):
Today, we thought it best to play Nick Rocco again
in his entirety, because he just always has such great information,
especially being inside of the courtroom.
Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
They're in debt him.
Speaker 5 (01:22:22):
You're a Buchanik is back on the stand right now,
so I'm going to head back to debta myself.
Speaker 2 (01:22:27):
Have a fantastic weekend.
Speaker 5 (01:22:29):
I will leave it at If you are a mom
in any sort of type of way, any capacity, have
the best weekend, have the best Mother's Day.
Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
We love all of the moms out there. Thank you
for listening, Lada,
