Speaker 1 (00:01):
Say, and the Morning Show with d J four and
it's sun Morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Cousin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
My babe's good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Rainy out there, so they have let me rain for
the next few days, but also warm.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yeah, tomorrow is gonna be sixty two.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
That feels so weird.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Set that's crazy. And then Thursday fifty five. But I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
The rain's also annoying because it's not like you can
really enjoy the time because can't go out. But it's
oh same Robert, I have been Yeah, let me get
my coffee, speaking of being thirsty.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
But yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Rain, maybe no rain.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
This time a little older, I would take the snow right.
It's the holidays. It adds to the sea. Give me
snow on Christmas, that's it melted all away the next day.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah, I'm good.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
I do love a nice like light dusting on Christmas.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
That's pretty. Yeah, is there any where are you really going?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:04):
You're not going anywhere? Crazy?

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Last time it's not on Christmas, it was like two thousands forever.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Yeah, I know, it's so weird. Anyway, I was just
telling you guys to utilize the show. You can also
use talkbacks because sometimes people you know, they can't call in,
they're at work, whatever the case may be. You can
down the free iHeartRadio app as soon as Jamin is
on a little microphone pops up and it would essentially
be like you calling me, I don't answer and you
leave me a voicemail like this.

Speaker 4 (01:30):
Hey, I was wondering if we could hear how the
Queen and the Fireman met. That would be awesome. I
don't know if you've ever told the story, maybe before
I was listening, but that'd be fun. Holler happy holidays, holloll.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Do people still say that, No, they do holla, you
know back in the day that was that was the
thing to say, Like, yeah, anyways, funny question, mainly because
if you were to ask me and then you were
to ask him, you're going to get two completely different answers.
I have told this before, but if you ask me,

(02:10):
I were to say that the Fireman and I got
close at the dog park. Now, technically is that where
we met.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
No, it is not. Technically speaking, we met at the gym.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Oh because you guys went to the same time, the
one used to play basketball.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yes, fun fact, that's where I always get my hook up.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
There too.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I like, if you're a man and you play basketball
and you can beat me, sign my vagiant up.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
And apparently if you're from selfie, it's like, yeah, I
lot it. Uh No.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
So we met at the gym and he was this
is so funny.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
So he was talking to.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
A girl at the time, and I knew of him,
and obviously we played basketball a couple times a week together,
but he never really spoke to me, and that drove me.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Is it me or you? What's happening okay? And it
drove me insane.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Drove me insane because all the guys would chit chat,
we would all chat after everyone would talk, not him,
wouldn't look my direction it.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
So what did that make me do?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Want?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I wanted the attention back? Now mind you now he
tells it where he's like I did that. I knew
that would drive you nuts because I did it on purpose.
I do because yeah, like he he would make a
point after you were done playing bagpack shoes off, go
and that's like social hour. After you play, you talk.
You know, he was out at the time. He was dating,

(03:38):
like talking to this girl, and I didn't know it
and after basketball one day, I'm out.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
I didn't know who she was. I didn't know anything.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
She's out there in the in like the regular gym part,
and she comes up to me and she asks me
about my lashes. So we start going back and forth,
and I tell her where I get my lashes done,
and she's like, okay, could I come with you? One time,
I was like, oh, now, mind you. I don't know
the connection to the Fireman at all. Fast forward, We yeah,

(04:07):
like she wants to come get her lashes done and
all this stuff, and I see her another couple of
times or whatever. It isn't until like a year later
when the Fireman I are like actually dating at this time,
and he tells me that that girl and him used
to kind of talk. They were not never exclusive, they
used to talk and she used to always tell him

(04:30):
that she knew that he liked me.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
How he wouldn't look at me, wouldn't talk to me.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
But I was the only girl that played basketball, So
in her mind she must have thought the only reason
he's playing is.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Because of her.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yeah, she turned out to be lunatic, but yeah, he
for real, she was trying to get close to me.
And now when I think about it, we never ended up.
I don't think going. But now that th about I'm like,
oh my god, she wanted to like become my friend
to see what I knew about him. Now his friend
group in Southey, I was close with a couple of

(05:09):
the guys, so that was also I had Again, I.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Had known of him.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
So he'll tell everybody we met at the gym, like
because technically speaking, but what happened was he was playing
his game, not talking to me whatever. But I overheard
him tell somebody he had a dog, and I knew
we lived in Dorchester, which is where I was at
the time. So after basketball one day, I went up
to him before he left because he was about to

(05:34):
be out the door, and I was like.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Hey, do you go to the dog park? That was
my line, and he was like, yeah, I go.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Oh, And I tried to ask him which one specifically
he goes to, and then I said, oh, we should go.
I go all the time, and we should we should
go to the dog park. Just get dude, I made
the move.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I did.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
So then dog park we meet and I don't know,
I just feel like we got to really know each
other at the dog parks.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
That's why I always say.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
That at what point did it become like a date thing?

Speaker 2 (06:05):
It became a date thing probably a month into us
hanging out. A month, I say, like once a week
we were going to the dog park together. Yes, we would.
We would text and be like, oh, are you going today?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I mean at that point you were you already know
that you you might have a feeling.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Oh, I could feel totally. I was waiting for him
to ask. I could feel something, and I was waiting
for him to ask. And then we went to Venanzia
in the Port and Port Nor folks to go on
our first day.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
And how far how fast? Like after that did you guys,
you know, get it a while?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Really?

Speaker 3 (06:36):
I made him wait? I was yeah yeah, honestly, guys
think it was like three months? Wow, Okay you like him? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Well, because I was just like I was. I was
definitely into him for sure.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
You know what's crazy you talking about that? That's the
one thing like I think I miss like that feeling
like I'm stable on fine, But there was something to
that that was so much fun, like yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
And getting butterflies and just that's why, honestly I've gotten
in trouble for saying this with some of the firefighter wise,
but I don't care. I like that he works twenty
four hour shifts. Bye bye bye, because yes, I get
the feeling again of missing him. And when they're there
all the time, you you might not get that feeling
because they're Yeah, And I like that we go days

(07:24):
during the week without seeing each other because then I'm excited,
like I'm going to see him today.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
I'n't seen him in forty eight hours, so it'll be nice.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, Yeah, that's interesting. I didn't know about the.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Actually embarrassed this one.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah, I didn't know that.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
You I don't like Yeah, and they set them out
and you may stop because that's not sure. He wanted
to become your friend.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Let's get on nails again. I'm gonna slice your throat.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Your lashes in at your home. I want to get
you and your eyes are closed, bitch,
