People hate that the fall people rush the summer and

do get mad at the thought of somebody being like, well,
summer's over, it's like it relax.

starts back up and give it a rest.

Yeah, and like all the summer activities are kind of done,
Like I haven't been in my pool in like a monk,
just because the kids are back in school and wearing
this like new rotation there but for them, like it
just changes.

That quote right therefore, and just reminded me of when
Kim was like, we don't even have it, cuzy. I
haven't been in my pool in a month. We don't
even have we don't have.

It's the first world thing to be like, i'n't been
in my pool. My pools so cold. Yeah.

I just think when the kids go back to school,
to me, that signifies.

But I will say, and this is coming from somebody
who no one loves the fall, crispy air and Halloween
and just the fall in New England better than me.

They had the Halloween candy out in my local grocery
store probably a month and a half ago.

know what season I hate? As a spring, The spring

does feel good. I'm good with the spring, but everything
else is nice.

I will say in like the kids clothes world, they
they really rush through because they want to get out
their their outfits. And I got a pr box yesterday
from one of my favorite clothing lines, Posh Peanut for
kids Christmas Christmas really Christmas pajamas, which by the way,

they so gracious they sent me and they were like cool,

my youngest was born on the thirtieth, so we kind
of doing like a combination bowling event. They had urban
wild shots of my people over there for taking care
of me. But yeah, we're gonna go out there. I'm
surprising with some what time. I'm a surprise him with
some tickets to his favorite artists. And I don't think
he knows about just yet, which is NB. A young

All right, Friday, September twelfth, let's start with what we
know on the shooter of Charlie Kirk. Images have been released,
alongside some video footage of him scaling the roof and
jumping down. I'm pretty sure by now you guys have
probably seen the photos. Eerily reminds me of when the

FBI released images of the Boston bomber.

That's right.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
Yes, it was almost like one of those things where
you kind of felt like they were on the cusps,
but they were like, you know what, we don't know
exactly who he is. We need some help from the public.
Images get released, and very shortly thereafter somebody was like,
well I know that guy. That's Joe cart Yeah. So
images are out I'm assuming by now the FBI has

probably been flooded with tips. But we saw him walking
towards the university with a backpack at a round. I
think it was like eleven fifty two. Remember he shot
and killed Charlie Kirk around twelve twenty. He was walking
with a limp. A lot of people had a question
about that. But if you notice he just has a backpack,
the gun was in his pants.

Oh okay, because I thought of that too.

Yes, And then the video footage that we got of him,
mind you, he was walking through a neighborhood just very
nonchalantly before he got up on the roof. But the
video footage of him getting off the roof, I mean.

It's not like crazy high, but it's not n Yeah,
and he jumps off fairly athletically and gets down and
starts running.

But it's shocking that they haven't had some sort of
a sighting though. And like, I know that disguise was
like not good, but like easy enough to blend in.

He did ditch the gun. Nothing, He ditched the gun
in the woods. So I know they have that. There
is a rumor circulating. I don't have any confirmation on
it that he had certain things etched into the other
bullets that were inside of the gun.

I'm sure we'll learn more about that.

But yeah, I was even hearing on the news this morning,
they're like, now that his photos are out, his.

Like the world is gonna shrink you h Yeah.

I don't get the Again, I don't know, but I
don't get the feeling that he took his own life.
I feel like he's still on the run. And again
I have no that's just my feelings and I don't
know that.

somebody already said and they may have already contacted the FBI,
But I feel like somebody must know this guy.

those photos got out yesterday, they got a million tips
from a million different people. But but but young.

At least in the photos that I saw, I thought
he looked like a younger kid. Uh.

You know, especially with the first two people they arrested,
those elderly gentlemen and everybody was like, wait a second,
this is grandpa.

By the way, the grandpa was screaming, I did it.
That's why he was arrested, which is because everybody was like,
why would they do? Who knows?

Maybe he was part of like the because there was
also an anti Charlie Kirk protest happening at the same
time as his.

Maybe he's just crazy all distraction.

Distraction, Yeah, I mean certainly could be.

I say that they focused on me, you know, my
god gets away? Oh if I don't even know the guy,
I let whoever did it get away?

I've been hearing all different types of people's theories that
maybe it wasn't straight to the neck, that maybe it
went in the body somewhere else and came out through
the neck, and just it was so fast that we
couldn't see.

I'm sure we'll learn more.

I don't know if the two of you guys saw it,
but Vice President Vance put Charlie Kirk's body on Air
Force two to bring him back to Arizona, where he's from.
I don't know if that's done often I have.

Yeah, I've never seen that before.

After the coffin was you know, kind of brought closer
to Air Force two, I noticed his wife in the background,
and that that just because again that's what I keep
thinking about those little kids, those little babies, and his
wife and seeing her.

That's heartbreaking there just knowing that those kids are not
going to have a dad, and that continuous like story
in the back of my head. That's what breaks my heart.
And it's like, listen, you take aside all the stuff
that you disagree with him about at the end of
the day, that's what that's about.

Yeah, I mean, I think that's that's the major message.
I don't know every single thing that the man said,
but I'm sure I won't agree with it, but I
think that's that's obviously what I'm trying to push and
how I feel about it is no matter what somebody's
political beliefs are, they could be horrific, horrendous my mind,

and I don't believe anybody's mind should go to, oh
they think that way, I want them dead.

Yeah, that's what scares me. Support the fact that he died.
That's another thing that you're starting to see. And it's like,
come on, guys, like, if you're supporting that and if
somebody does it from your point of view like that,
aren't you going to feel a little taken aback by that, So, like,
why is it okay for somebody else to die based
on their beliefs? But if it's something when your own,
then it's fine.

Well yeah, but and that seeing those celebratory videos is
crazy to me because I keep thinking to myself, Fine,
you you didn't back him politically. You didn't believe what
he did politically, which means you think something different politically.
What if somebody from that side of the beliefs this
happened to you wouldn't be celebrating. It's nobody should be
celebrating someone's death unless their words turned into actions. I

want everybody dead, and that person then goes and kills
a bunch of people, think.

Guess what I want them dead to? Yes, but if
they are words, if they are literal words.

Yeah, it's just getting weird out there. It's getting weird.

think today we might I think we might know some.

Boulevard after they got a call of an active shooter.
Turns out absolutely no ongoing threat there on campus, but

the students were spooked obviously.

Nonetheless, I was on the tenth floor of the East
Hall residents, and the cops came up the staircase and
they kicked the door down and they head all tactical
gear on and rifles, and they were like, you got
to get out. There might be an active shooter.

Nobody should have to go to school and fear about
getting shot. That's ridiculous. I agree with her.

for instance, she she there was one little girl at
her gymnastics class.

she was shy. Yeah, So now I'm trying to.

Explain to Layla what a shy person is and she's like, no,
she just doesn't like me and she doesn't want to
be my friend.

whole interaction. I said, she does want to be your friend.
I said, but not everybody is like you. You want
to be friends with everybody and hug everybody and talk
to everybody. Some people need to warm up.

So then she's asking me how to warm up, and
then that get and it's just like everything is something
it is, and it's like little things that are that
that shouldn't be hard, but that.

you could only be one thing for Halloween and I
was like, well, we're going to like multiple different things.

It's the all season now, so if it's below sixty degrees,

she cancels. So you go to her facebook page to see.
So I go to her Facebook page. I check. There
she is with it. She's smiling. She takes a selfie
of herself and she says, swim is on. If you know,
you know, pool's a nice school or a nice warm
eighty degrees or whatever. I screenshot it. I send it

to the fireman and I'm like, swim is on, and
he like thumbs up it or whatever. We get to swim.

There's five kids in her class, meaning five kids, five
maybe more adults.

So there's a good twelve of us standing here. Okay,
all the kids get in the pool. She says hi everybody.
All the kids say hi back. It gets silent, and
Layla looks her dead in the eye and says, my
daddy looks at pictures of you in his phone. Oh
my god. Yeah, body froze and I go out of contact.

Daddy looks at pictures in his first the fireman breathless
like he could there were no I could see the
beads of sweat. It was sixty degrees that I can
see the beats this way, And I said, she does,
so what happened?

No, I'm explained the whole thing, and I'm like, so
was at work. I didn't know what the temperature was
gonna be, so I was checking. I screenshot the photo that.

You posted of you. I'm telling the wholesale I go, yeah,
that that came across a little weird do we have?
Then I put on my my BS entertainment show. Then
I turned back to the fireman and go, do we
got a problem, And he's like, don't do this, Please,

My daddy looks at pictures of you in his phone.
So that we had to get in the car and
try to teach the lesson of like, this is a

in certain things, it's really uncomfortable. That explanation deathly worked
and it's understandable, but yeah, man, they are so matter

So then I felt like when that line came out,
they all were like, huh, yeah it was You.

woman is going to think we looked pictures of her
up and we're like making fun.

So then in the car I'm telling her like, some
things are secrets, like I just I don't even know.
So then she's like, well, how do you tell a secret?

rest of the night she would come after me and
be like, I have to tell you his secret. I
mean she'd be like, I'm like, that's not like you're

I feel like the consistent one is like that always
comes up and ask him up with every child is
the weight stuff, right like when they ask you when
they ask you in public height. Yes, that's the only
one I haven't been able to like explain and have
the person be like okay with I had.

One the other day with her where we were she
We're at the grocery store and she's in the front
of the cart and it was a guy with long.

This is so crazy because I'm on my phone yesterday
I see all of these posts on Instagram. Active shooter
at U Mass Boston.

You know, I discussed the news earlier this morning and
said there, thank god there was there was no active shooter.
But I we I played a clip of some of
the students and people are reacting. You are a student
at U Mass Boston, and you were there for the
whole situation. I not even imagine the fear.

Basically what happened was in the beginning, there was a
police car that blocked the street, and at first I
heard that it was a chemical spillage at an elementary
school down the street.

And I immediately knew that that was absolutely not the
case because the police officer looked.

Like he was very worried.

He looked like he was trying to get right into action.

So then I'm walking to the dorms because like a
bunch of my friends dorm there at the school, and
I'm telling everybody get inside, get inside, because I feel
like that there's gonna be some some stuff going down.

And then out of nowhere, forty cops pulling like rifles.

Out of nowhere, and they're telling everybody to go inside.

Was just crazy, and it was even if it was
like hoax, even if there.

school and not have to think a second thought about this.
I'm glad you're okay, I'm glad it was a hoax,
But I totally understand what you're saying, and I understand
your fear because I would have felt the exact same way.

And then after like everything was lifted, they're like, oh, well, clear,
like everything's okay, Like you know, nothing happened, So it
was just like, oh, okay, so none of that happened,

Like right, I guess the one positive that we could
take from it is that, like you said, when you
immediately saw that first cop, you could tell he was ready.

You guys had a huge police presence. At least that
was that happened fast and they were there and they
were prepared, because that's because that's also what you want
in that situation. But I'm sorry you went through that.
It's awful, and I you know, we were talking, we've
especially this week, even talking so much about it. You
guys shouldn't have to go to school and worry about that.

Yeah, just a little bit. I So last year, the
Boston Pops put on a sensory show for children on
the Spectrum and it's like a show with like lower
amount of seating so that you know, they can tolerate
the show. And so in January last year, I called
and asked when the tickets went on sale, and I

kind of called throughout the summer just to double checked.
They didn't have any preliminary tickets. So they said September whatever.
Tuesday was the ninth that they went on sale at
ten am, and so I went on at nine fifty
five and just kept refreshing and at ten am there
was nothing to select, and by ten oh one they

said they sold out a ticket. So when I called them,
they said that they sell them to they give them
to people who donate. And so when I looked up
online to try and find more tickets, they're on stub
hub and Expedia for two hundred dollars to start, and
then most they are it's eight hundred a ticket. And

I got six family members in my family.

Listen, the reselling on the tickets. The retelling, the reselling
on the ticket is crazy. We talk about this all
the time. It's sad because you know, you see retail
value of a ticket for a Back Street Boys show
or something, and it's one hundred dollars, and then the
resellers get a hold of it.

And like you're saying, it's eight hundred plus. It's just
so unfair, right, right, And.

I feel like in this situation when it's disabled people,
like there's got to be some kind of accountability for
like you're taking advantage of them.

Fortunately, people who love to make money don't care about
who you are.

And it's one concert, you know, one concert a year.
These kids get to just enjoy themselves and be themselves,
and it's just really sad, you know, yeah, like no, I.

person with deep rooted issues like eating up all those
tickets and then putting them on sites.

For they don't care what it could be the cause
for cancer, those tickets, so we sell it to the.

can give you is that we have a shanty. It
gets to win here in just about twenty minutes. If
you're trying to go to that tomorrow night, yeah, you know,
you know you could try to do that.
