Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dashi and The jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn
and Sonti. Good Morning, Bustin's.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Number one for hip hop jamming ninety four or five. Hi, everybody,
good morning. The internet is crazy. The Internet is so wild.
So we just had Jackie Doogal on. She is obviously
on the opposite side of Free Karen Reid and Karen's supporters.

(00:31):
I've been We've been nothing but open about the fact
that we would love somebody to come on and debate
Nick Rocco and you know, talk about the other side.
Nobody no, never calls, Nobody ever steps up. Jackie stepped
up to the plate, and I'm getting I'm getting DMS.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Yikes, what's wrong with you? Why would you do that?
I'm sick.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I'm throwing up listening to this.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
What's wrong? Guys?

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Is everybody okay today?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Listen? I understand that it's a local story and you
may have some people connected aside from that, outside of
that circle. Why are these people like so hateful to
hear another side or just another opinion?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, and I.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Think again, like, at least from what I gathered from
that chat with Jackie, She's like, yo, beyond all of this,
I lost my friend. And that's what I want to
come talk about the fact that nobody talks about my friend.
I mean, like even that little anecdote about how you know,
John o'keeff would call them and say, leave the trunk open.
I have some toys for you guys, like we would.
We don't sare things like that.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
Don't know that.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
The dms are crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
And it's crazy the thing like even politically, like I
have a certain stance on many things, but I like
to hear the other side of things that I think
it's educational and like, but I'm never going to like
try to like vilify a person for who's open to
hearing like another side.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Welcome to the world of the Internet, when everybody has
an opinion, everybody's opinion matters. Everybody's opinion is valid, you
know what I mean. You know and us here we're
very opinion on certain things. But at the end of
the day, like if Floren said something or whatever, like
I don't care, Yeah I say something, you guys call
me insane and then we move.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
On right to be honest, That's what I love about
you guys, that we don't all think the same way
because like for what and I just think everybody needs
to calm down. I mean, I got a message from
a girl. Let me read it to you. Guys. Thank
you so much for having somebody on to talk about John.

(02:29):
You lost me as a listener over the last year,
not because you support free Karen Read, but because you
have never had anybody else on. I have no issues
with people who have both sides on their program. I'm
sure you're going to get flack for having her on,
but I'll say that was brave and I go, well,
how did you know then that we were having her on?
She said, somebody posted it on a Facebook group. It
was hard to stop listening to you, guys. I've been

(02:50):
listening from the beginning. I remember you from Real World.
I love Santee, but it was so upsetting when you
would only have one side on. There's so much more
to this case. And again, I completely get the reasonable
doubt as far as a police investigation, but I don't
think that means she should get off just like OJ Simpson.
That's my opinion.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
And and and again, we we are not in the
court room. No, you know what I mean. We are
I can say this, We are the majority of the
people that feel like, there's something wrong in this case.
Otherwise it's not making Max, it's not making headline news.
That's exactly if this was a clear cutcase, open closed
and it was just bog she's guilty. Nobody cares in

(03:28):
the sense that we're not making the news outlets. I'm
not going to spend ay, time and money doing this.
But because they so many holes and so many things
that can point to one side of the other, Yeah,
that's what's become sensation.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
They even said in the interview to Jackie, I like, respectfully,
I don't care what her Her response was going to be,
You're never going to convince me that the Canton police
did a perfect investigation. The man was talking about the
woman's leaky butthole, Like, you're never going to convince me.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Of that as a detective. What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (03:54):
But but do you know those are She's bringing up
points that like were facts that were brought up in court.
So again I can see why people there are two
sides to this, yes.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
But the other at the end of the day, you
can still form your own opinion and your own reality
to what you think happens, but you don't vilify the platform.
That's given the opportunity to the other side like that.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Because that's crazy. I'm not popping our collar. But do
what we did. We sat, we listened and we don't judge.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
You know what I mean, listen and we don't.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
That's true because we could have again. You may come.
You know, anybody who's listening to this who's on the
other side, and you feel like, yo, you know Ashland
the Jeremy Morning Show is very pro Karen read again.
From the information we're getting, it looks ellus sus. We
can all state that fact as fact to woe. It's
a very suss case. Now did we come here bombard
her and fight her and be like, oh nah, you

(04:40):
don't know what you're talking. Now, come say your piece.
You're somebody who's really close to the both of them,
you know what I mean. And I've always said, you know,
Jonas O'Keefe's name gets just lost, lost, bro, Like nobody
can I see I said this last week. I see
his mom every day in court, and I feel bad
for that lady because she's like, yo, dog y'are talking
about all this other nonsense. I lost the sun. But
she came, she talked about it and and and that

(05:03):
was brave of her, by the way, because again she's
in the lions, then she's here. We could have we
could have went ham on her, but we let her
speak the truth because why everybody has an opinion and
we should respect each other's opinion without being like sending
why y'all sending dms to ah, thank you, I'm pumping.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
As like give it a second, like what you guys,
And to Florence's points, if I if we were going
to go back and forth with Jackie, we'd still be
on with Jackie.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
We could do it all day, by the way.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I'm sure Jackie would have an answer for every single
thing I asked her. H But I think the point
was to let her tell her side and why she
feels how she feels, and and and again that was
her friend. She spent time with Karen, and obviously John
and her were super close, So I think, why wouldn't the.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Closest thing we've ever had on these birds to the
case cool? You know what I mean? Nick does his
thing and anything, and he's going to be vast than
that if but this is the close they've shed breathing
space together.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
The wildest thing about this too, is if you ask
ten people what they think happened like that, Like that
certain night, you'll get ten of pancakes, right, that's what.
But that's okay. But the many you have somebody else
on it, it's like a problem, Like, come on, goud, come.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
On, we better than that. You've been listening to this
show for a long time. Everybody's sending dms and things
like that. Yeah, yea, I've been listening.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
You know.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
We very we try not to be biased. It may
sound that way, but finally I'm thankful that somebody came
on the other side. It's like, nah, here's what I think,
and here's the evidence of why I think so, and
I'm gonna lay it out for you. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Another part of it that I think is important. If
she started out by saying I'm friends with everybody that
lives at thirty four of those are my friends, that's
not what that was. She's like, my friend is John O'Keefe.
I didn't even know anybody inside of that house. So
that's why I thought that that was important to establish.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
And I would think you want a radio station that
would have both sides on because a lot, if not
all radio stations in the city would not have done this.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Honestly, I hope whoever has been feeling some kind of
way about being on the other side that Karen is
guilty now feels like they can call it a little
bit yes, and they can call in and they can
talk about it. Because I want to hear from y'all.
I really want to understand, like this thing. Yes, it's fascinating,
but you know, we want to know. We want to
know what everybody thinks.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
And after you did an amazing job there, because I
think a lot of people would not have been able
to handle the pressure from all the sides and ask
the right questions with the right tones too.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
So yeah, amazing job.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I appreciate that I got Jamison in my let's go
I'm drinking. No, I'm just kidding that on occasion. It's
on occasion.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
If you saw my DMS
