Speaker 1 (00:02):
Especially end up jam in morning show with DJ Foreign
and Santi.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbacks you haven't.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Any more vive.

Speaker 1 (00:16):
This is a dark moment for America. Charlie Kirk traveled
the nation, joyfully engaging with everyone interested in good faith debate.
His mission was to bring young people into the political process.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Thursday, September eleventh, Charlie Kirk, thirty one years old conservative
political activists, assassinated in Utah at Utah Valley University during
one of his rallies.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
His first stop on his collegiate tour that he was.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Doing, where he sits in a tent and says, hey,
prove me wrong. This is my thoughts on ABC, let
me hear yours. Let's have a healthy, educated debate. And
he lost his life for it. And I think, you know,
we've kind of been discussing all morning. I've spoken at nauseum.
I don't know if you guys want to add in
your feelings on it, but for me, that man could

(01:09):
have said the craziest of things. I might not agree
with half of what he says, but my brain will
never go to I want him dead because of it,
because I have opinions on things, and I don't feel
like I deserve death because of them either.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I mean, at the end of the day, the freedom
of speech line is the best thing. It's like he was,
He's exercising his freedom there. He doesn't deserve to die
for that. And I think unfortunately we're in a world
where if you're not agreeing with what somebody is saying,
then they take it as you hate them, or you're
crazy and all this stuff, and some people resort to violence,
which is insane.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
That video and the videos circulating. I think Ford and
said it last hour, we shouldn't see that, that it
should not be something that we see, and then you
said it on top of it. Side it's like at
one point his little babies are going to grow up
and that's out that lives. And it's scary. One single

(02:04):
gunshot wound to the neck. The shooter, as of this morning,
still on the run. The FBI has arrested two different people,
both were let go. Authorities do believe the sniper did
it from about two hundred plus yards away on top
of a building. There's a couple of videos circulating the
Internet of a shadowy figure on top of a building
they believe could be the suspect to the Utah.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Governor Spencer Cox, making it very clear that the death
penalty is still intact in Utah and threatening this.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
I want to make it crystal clear right now to
whoever did this, we will find you, we will try you,
and we will hold you accountable to the furthest extent.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
Of the law.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I think it's important to note that if you were
somebody who's you know, leaving me a DM and me
a nasty message, or leaving a talkback, or you know
you don't agree with my opinion on it, what I'm
trying to say is your opinion to me on how
you feel about how I feel.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
I'm listening to it, and I'm not thinking you should
die for it.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, that is what I'm trying to articulate as much
as I possibly can this morning.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
I'm also a mom, and I also have two little babies.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Who I know would incessantly be asking for me every
single night, not understanding why I'm not coming home. And
every video of Charlie Kirk that I'm seeing this morning
is of him with his kids and that's pretty gut wrenching.
He also was a kid, he was thirty one years old.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
And the killing of somebody like is, even if you
disagreed with what their opinions were on certain things, and
let's just say you wanted them to die that the president,
that that sets It's like, okay, so what if what
if you're having an opinion that's different and somebody kills you, Like,
that's not the vibe we should be going for, right,
That's not the answer.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
The three of us. Let's let's talk. Let's use the
vaccine as an example. The three of us. We did
not agree on the vaccine mandates back in twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
We have healthy debates about that. People called in and
had debates about that. I didn't.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I never once thought, oh, if they don't agree with
me on how I feel about this, they should die.
That's not that's not that's not why we live here.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I got the vaccine, and there are people out there
who were against it and were staunchly against it, and like,
you know what, my thought process was like, good for.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
You, Yeah, and those people are me informed.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, hello, I love the vaccine. Give it to me again.
But at the end of the day. We didn't hate
each other for it, No.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
No, Yeah, hate me, despise me, talksmack.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Put me out of your family or friend group.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Never talk to me ever again this owe me all that,
but don't never once in your life should you be thinking, oh,
I want it, I want that person to die, I
want to kill that person. That should never be your mind.
And if it's getting to that point, you got deeper
rooted issues than just a yeah, their opinion of somebody.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Now there's a part about this too. If the person
who shot him, like, obviously they're not a normal person.
They are completely psychotic to kill somebody like that, So
there's that as well.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
The way this whole thing happened is giving me like
military background vibes. One shot from two hundred yards away, sniper. Yeah,
so this obviously is ongoing. As soon as we get
from more information, I'll keep you posted. Like I said,
Kirk had a wife and two small babies.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
RTT is out.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I feel like that is a big conversation here in
the New England area. I was talking about the fact
that I don't shop at the market basket. I don't
have one in Marshfield. But again, anytime I talk about
market basket, my dms blow up. And now I got
people like you better get to hand over and get
yourself a steak in cheese. It's not that far from me.
I know I will because I know a strike's coming.

(05:36):
They love this man so much. This is their fearless leader,
and we're finally getting a statement on his behalf. RTT
is deeply disappointed that mediation failed despite his very determined
efforts to reach a resolution. Over time, it became clear
to us that this was not a good faith effort
by the board or his sisters to reach agreement on
the issues created by their abrupt actions, placing RDT, his family,

(05:57):
and members of his senior management team on leave. It
is now crystal clear they have no intention of reinstating
mister Demula's.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Seems clear to me the sisters want to sell. They
aren't happy with the collecting a salary. They want to
cash out on the billions that seemingly is due to
them at some point. That being said too, I don't
want to stereotype, but everybody works the basket. I feel
it like has like a smoker's voice. They're like at
that tea, but they go to bath for this man.
And there's a striking. Those people on the picket line

(06:28):
just ripping buttsto.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
But they're dedicated. That's there, that's their Lord's savior. And
by the way, we've said it cool with everybody that
works here.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
I'm not going on strike.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Here's what I'll say too. If the company sells or
something bigger, the vibe of market Basket, that that feeling
that you have when you walk in there will absolutely change.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
If that is the case, whoever they sell it to you, Yeah,
I hope they don't. Market Basket is dope, bro.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
I again, I've never been, but the way you guys
describe it, there is a sort of feel when you
walk in and again that's like.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
When Saji walks into Whole Foods and it feels rich.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Regular Deglar market Basket just a regular supermarket, and they've
developed it so much. Like I'm surprised they don't sell
clothes in there at this point because you have weddings,
because like they've just they've built on that brand and
they've again, you want rotastity checking at lunch four ninety nine.
You want a steak and cheese, easy peasy. You want
some fresh squeeze orange juice. Nice, you want some coffee,

(07:24):
some some snacks, some some sweets, and then get some
good deals and some food like market basket is the spot.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
You're not even getting fresh squeeze orange juice. And some
restaurants you get in traffic canna like that's.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
The machine and they're not lying to you. There's a
whole machine that you see. The orange go in, get peeled,
get squeezed, and it goes into a bottle and they
put it up for sale.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
But don't go on the weekend though, because those ales
are on the weekends. It's like a mad it's like
pure war. You gotta Tuesday ahead.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
And lastly for not for you, we got big news, son,
we got big news.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Prince Harry and King Charles reunited for the first time
since feb of twenty twenty four.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
No no, no dad and son Harry and King Charles.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
So Harry and his dad basically had a meeting at
the Clarence House in London. They said Harry stayed for
about an hour before he left. Remember, Harry has slung
some serious accusations against the family, and it was believed
that Charles was like goodbye, like we're done with you,
like we're not.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
You're not having someone who left, right.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Harry's with Megan Markle, the devil, he left, he left,
he gave up, He gave up.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
His title for Meghan Markles. No bad person.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Do you know?

Speaker 3 (08:40):
There's rumors out there that the king is really sick
and I think that this might be a sign that
possibly to that to that storyline. Well, the king had
process cancer a few years ago, but they said it
possibly could have come back.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
And this is on like the European rags.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
And by the way, will is next up for the crown.
I mean we all know that.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
But what I can tell you is Buckingham Palace confirmed
that they had heat together privately. No one else was
there and that's the only details we have. But again,
if Harry and Charles are able to put what all
the other things inside, something's popping off because this is
I mean, it was, it's bad between you.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Yeah, like listen, you can hold a garage, but at
some point you got to fix that stuff. That being said,
I should why I call my dad today too.

Speaker 1 (09:18):
Because.

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Yeah, that might be nice.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
It's been a couple of years. Bet you have spoken
to your father, bro? Yeah about a year and a half.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
The dog bite. How many times the dog bite through
this man, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Kidding, that's very true. I know years. Yeah, so I
should probably call because I just.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Like to take in foreign dogs and he's like, no,
I'm not gonna do it today.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
It has three things you need to know for Thursday,
September eleventh. Ashanti tickets right now six one seven nine
three one one nine four five collars twenty five. We
are hooking you up a little girl's night out action
on Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
The Lovely and the jam In Morning Show with d
J feign It's Saunt Morning.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
US is number one for hip hop. I am in
ninety four or five. Hi everybody, good morning. I uh.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I am having this like internal debate with myself and
like just you know, you know what, we're our own
worst enemy. And I've just been kicking myself while I'm
down about this. School is back and everybody's posting their
photos of their little kids going to pre school. Now,
pre school obviously is not you don't have to go

(10:31):
to preschool. I also learned you don't got to go
to kindergarten. Didn't know that you have, but you should.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
You should, but you but it is not mandated. But
I did and I did not know that.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Well, I guess technically school isn't really because you can
homeschool your kids.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
That would be a horrifying site.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Yeah, those kids are weird too, honey, we all know.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
Okay, Well along the lines of this. Yeah, so I
see some of my friends even with kids, and they're
posting like preschool.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Now the age again on first time right here, But
I think kindergarten is five. Layla's three and a half.
She's gonna be four in December, so for even for kindergarten,
she's not gonna make the cut because you have to
turn five before September right to go. So she's gonna
be in kindergarten and be one of the older ones

(11:20):
when she finally does go. But I mean a lot
of you guys follow me on social medium, so you're
saying she she is not going to preschool.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
And it is like messing me up.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Because I have this weird feeling now, mind you all right,
let's start out with with the real truth of it.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
We have childcare.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
We have Helen, that's my gal, and we have to
have Helen because of my schedule and because of the
fireman's schedule, and because the days like we have to
have Helen, we can't afford to do both.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
You have to pay for preschool, preschool, childcare.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Like if you're in that world, you know how expensive
everything is.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
It's crazy money. So we can affore both.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
We already have Helen comings, so it makes the most
sense for us financially right now. But I do have
this like fear of is she not getting the social
aspect of everything? Now, I'll tell you what if I had,
She's she is a lot like me when it comes
to like we go. I take her to everything, So
I think that's how I'm trying to offset it. I mean,

(12:22):
she's in gymnastics, we had swim class last night, she's
We're putting her into lacrosse for three year olds on Sunday.
I am doing everything I can to offset the fact
that she's not in preschool. But it is eating me
up inside because I'm like, am I messing her up?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
Now?

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Because when it comes to kindergarten, a lot of those
kids will have gone to preschool.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
They're used to that setting. Yeah, and she won't be.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
I'm you're beating yourself up a little much. But go
ahead song.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
No.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
As a parent who just went through a lot of this,
as I mean in recent years, I would say I
think it depends on the kid. Really, I think you
need to be a judge of what your kid needs
the most. There were probably some of mine where I
think they could have done without. There are some of
them that need it too. When I'll say, because you're
doing all these other things, she's socializing and she's very social,
I think it's completely fine.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
And these things can I also add I'm not there,
like I drop her gymnastics for example, I just perfect, yes,
so she's getting the she's listening to somebody else. I
go as far as to ask the people like, talk
to me, how was she Does she listen?

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Is she find?

Speaker 2 (13:23):
You know?

Speaker 4 (13:23):
Because she's not getting that setting of like a teacher.

Speaker 2 (13:27):
Now I have her I make I'm like, oh, these
are your teachers, and I have her call them that.
But I do I see all these photos of the
kids around the same age going to school, and I'm like, damn,
am I like if preschool?

Speaker 1 (13:37):
If preschool, if the if your anxiety is that she's
not going to be social, and that's why you want
to put it in preschool. I think you're doing just funky,
that's what it is. Yeah, all these things that she's
getting into, all team sports, they're all the way you
got to build with each other, you gotta you know,
work with other kids. So she's already she's already learning that.
I don't know why we're putting on a lacrosse me neither.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
No, no, no, it's not that expensive number one because
obviously the finance.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
But you know what it is.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
I saw shout out to Liz. I saw a friend
of mine, her three year old was they're not really
they're just holding the sticks and running around. But her
kid was running around this huge field with like six
other kids are So I wrote her right away, I go,
what is this. It's Sunday morning, it's for an hour.
It's called like scoops, lacrosse, shencross player.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
But it's something to get her out to meet other
kids and like that.

Speaker 1 (14:26):
That's what that's my mind, that's my mind for building teams.
She's understand that that's dope that you just drop off
and leave all alone. So she's getting you know, there's
a different authority figure that she's learning from and all
of that. Yeah, I think you did it. Preschool was
only because of that, and that's all I'm worried about.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
Yes, No, I'm not, because because really they're they're listening.
They're learning probably to listen and follow directions and that
type of stuff.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
It also helps if she has a sibling at home too,
because I think it's very different if there's only one
by themselves.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
I think you're fine.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
It's just this constant worry of like which every parent
has its like am I doing it right? And there's
no there's no like textbook for that.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
The right way is whatever you think is best for them,
because people are going to tell you ten thousand different
ways to do things, so don't listen to them, like,
listen to what you think is best for them.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
And you know how I am.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
I would be the first person to be like, she's
in like large groups, she's acting like she needs this,
So I would I would say that.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
And then I would tell my husband, we have to
figure this out.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
I think I would also have to tell you too
if your kid was on I'm like, yo, you I
think your dad who needs to go to school or something?
Because yeah, you know, but I but I think she's fine.

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Yeah, And I just again like there's everybody does it
different And if your kid is in preschool, that's amazing.
If they're not cool too, I think it's like I do.
I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
I do think it's child dependent, but it's also just
a worry of mine that, oh my god, like half
of the kids in her kindergarten class will have been
to preschool. Oh, this is perfect. Liz is in Haveril. Liz,
I'm so happy to talk to you because, as you
can say, I'm stressing. Uh, Liz was an actual preschool teacher.

Speaker 6 (16:02):
Hi, Liz, Hi, how's it going.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
I'm sure you've probably had this conversation with parents before,
the uh do we do it? Do we not? Type
of thing.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I mean, you've heard kind of my worries. What are
your uh, what are your thoughts?

Speaker 6 (16:16):
Honestly, it seems like you are just beating yourself up.
It seems like you're doing all the right things. It
seems like it seems like your daughter's very independent when
she's doing these activities, she's listening, she's you know, used
to being alone away from you for a period of time,
and honestly, that's what preschool's for, like getting getting rid
of that separation anxiety and letting them discover the independence.

(16:39):
And she's doing all these activities and across gymnastics, all
sorts of different things. And thence she's gonna be one
of the older ones in kindergarten. It sounds like she'll
be kind of ready to be one of the older
kids helping the younger ones and it'll put her into
a really good independent role and like develop her confidence.
And it sounds like you're doing a really good job.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
I cannot tell you how how much I needed to
hear this. And it's of no offense to you, son,
just the same. That's why I said it's no offense
to you or to foreign because I know you guys
both just you know, are saying what Liz saying.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
But Liz is actually in the thick of it with
these kids, and that does make me, uh and it
makes me feel better.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
I'm sorry, he'd Liz, thank you for this though serious,
Like this is all I do every day is stare
at the ceiling and being like, am I raising this
child in the right manner?

Speaker 6 (17:28):
Mm hmmm. And honestly, there's even no right way to
raise a child. It's like they're they're so smart and
like they're there. They have their passions, their drive, even
at three and a half, and it seems like she's
figuring out her way in the world with some really
good guidance from you.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
Oh thank you, you know, choke me up, Liz, thank
you so much for the call. I said, no offense
to you too.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
I care what I'm doing, but I took offense.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
You were on the phone front and said, Liz, as
much as I appreciate and I do what Foreign and
Sandia have to say.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
Hearing it from you me, it's like.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Said the same exactly.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
You're not preschool teacher, so it makes me feel better
hearing it from that.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Fine, Oh my god, I hate you. All right, Well, hey,
if your kids not in preschool too, guess we're doing
something like summit. Right, It's gonna be fine. They're gonna
be fine.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Moments and the jam In Morning Show with d J.

Speaker 4 (18:23):

Speaker 4 (18:36):
And don't I love that? Don't I love those sound
shout outs?

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:40):
I feel like nothing against this one personally, but I
feel like most meetings can be addressed with an email.

Speaker 1 (18:46):
Why can't this text?

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Right? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Or let's say hey, we'll I'll pop in for a second.
Is that to be a big sit down?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yeah? Okay.

that I saw was because obviously different people were listening

(19:30):
to that interview that love him, that came to the show,
why does she sound like that?

Speaker 1 (19:36):
People still don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
They don't know, so they don't know that I always
don't sound sickly. And this is, by the way, I
imagine if that interview was like at the end of
last week, we'd have been in some real trouble.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
So this is way better.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
We're sinus infectioning, and God willing, I'm almost halfway through
the meds that I don't sound like this by next week.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
We shall see. However, we're getting out of here. I agree,
and Aunt you know, can't say it enough with foreign
Be nice, be nice to somebody today. Bye.
