Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake up, wake yoh, hi, everybody, we have a new.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Chef or cook. If you'd like the chef, I say chef.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Flex in that six a yem no no no.

Speaker 4 (00:37):
In the building, I'm like the building, well, I was,
you didn't let me finish.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I was getting there.

Speaker 5 (00:45):
I was gonna say in because because sometimes I say
chef in this building and they're not chefs.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
I'm gonna say he's a cook because I think.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
What are the qualifications? Because I really don't know.

Speaker 4 (00:56):
You probably have to go to like a legit culinary
school and work at certain places and ascend to the
level of chef. Okay, so you can't just go work
at the ninety nine then all of a sudden you're
a chef.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
Or so if we went down there and started working,
we're cooks.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Were cooks, I think so. I think they call them
like line cooks. Yeah, so I think that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
So we have a new one, and.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Of the five days of the week, I would say
at least three of the five we come in together.
At least every time he asks me what my name is,
it's it's getting out of hand. So today he by
the way, he holds the door for me, and he's
a good distance ahead of me, like, doesn't need to

(01:40):
do it. I always try to tell him, like, oh,
just go, it's okay, I gotta get my bag, but
he always waits.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
He always holds the door for me.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
A gentleman holds the door, and he goes, Happy Friday, Brittany.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
And honestly, at this point I am Brittany like I'm not.
I'm done correcting the man like it's fine.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I I yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:59):
So I said, yeah, happy Friday to you. It's the
fourth of July next week, and I just kind of
went and he goes.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It's Brittany.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Right. It's now really starting to piss me off. So
I go, it's not Brittany. And he goes, I am
so sorry. I know we do this every week. What
is your name? I go, not telling you? He goes, really,
I said yeah, really, because it genuinely doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Also, if you think you don't know the name, don't
say it.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
What's up girlfriend? Happy Friday? Hey girl, Hey, just hey,
you don't have to say that Happy Friday, Brittany.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
And then, by the way, immediately after makes the comment
that it's Brittany right, so you you weren't sure you
went with Brittany.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
You weren't sure. But this is now like the third
week in a row of this.

Speaker 5 (02:51):
You're asking me three times a week. You simply don't care,
which is cool.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
He must be terrible with names though, like really bad.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Say hello.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
But I think he wants to be personable, and I
can tell when I even like speak to him.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
He wants to be like down on, which is good. Yes, totally.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
I like chatting with him in the mornings. I'm totally fine.
But we don't have to go through what my name
is three times? Like I'm good. You know, Hey, it's
the most basic white girl name in America.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Dare I I argue, it's so easy.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
It's very easy, and I'm pretty sure he has the
most basic white man.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah he's Mike. Yeah, Mike, he's Mike.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
I'm actually we're not. But you know what today, to you,
it's Brittany. I don't want one person calling this show
calling me Ashley. It is Brittany to you, Brittany. And
then it's like and then it's like, why Brittany, what
am I giving off dancing in MYO?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
I think you're giving off white I think that's when it.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Comes down to it.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
In his head. He was like, it's it's Brittany, it's Emily.

Speaker 5 (03:53):
Megan like yeah, but it's I mean every week.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
I just feel like after the second week of asking
me what my name is, just let it go.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Yeah, or he should be studying it right after. He
should be repeating your name constantly so that way.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
It gets stand or not at all, Like he doesn't
care what my name is. Cool, that's fine, but.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I will say he's really good at what he does though,
Like you go down then the whole place is decorated.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
But he's super nice.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
That's kind of why I'm being gentle here because I
like his food.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
He's he's very personable, and we don't. I don't.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
We've had beef with so many people in this building
because because I don't care. By the way, it doesn't
bother me. It doesn't remember my name, just stop asking
me what it is, just let it go.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
They've expanded the kitchen. There's so there's so many more
options there. You can like break the different It's like
five star.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Now Forreune's gonna be He's gonna say hello, how are
you so? Yeah, if you call in the show today,
I would like to be addressed as Brittany and Brittany
only Good Morning, especially.

Speaker 7 (05:00):
Show with DJ Foreign and Sonty When you need to know, No,
we got you three things you need to know on
Boston's Number one for hip hop and the best throwbags
you Haven't any more five.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Friday, June twenty seventh, And I kind of feel like
the cook in the building because it took me but
this long to realize all of the times that Foreorn
would say, ash Adam Sandler was at this establishment in
New Hampshire.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Oh, yeah, Adam Sandler was in this place. Never knew
that's where he was from.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
Yeah, Bedford.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
He had no idea.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
They literally this morning, everyone's so excited because he's coming
to Boston for his show, and they keep saying New
Hampshire's own. I'm like New Hampshire's own who had no idea.
But Foreign you've seen him, You've heard that. He's been
in and around and he does it in his.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Regular you know, a little house. Yeah, he's always on those.
He'll go to the Oscars in that.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Yeah, but he's always around. Yeah, he'll be at McDonald's
or something, or he'll be at the Dina downtown. His
mom lives kind of like downtown, but a little way.
He's up and he had a concert one time at
the arena out there, and right after that, like mad
people followed him and they went to his crib and
it was just chilling out there. But he's very tied
into the city and he's always out here.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
He'll also hoop like anywhere. He does not care.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
I was gonna say, I've not heard a bad story
about Adam Sandler. He will not be going to New Hampshire,
but he is going on a North American tour titled
You Are My Best Friend, and he will be going
to the Garden.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
That show is going to be in September.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
It'll be right after the debut of Happy Gilmour Too,
which comes out on Netflix that people are very excited for.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
As a comedian, he's great, but I don't really dig
his comedy like that. I would never go sue his shtick.
He does like all these bits because he was on
SNL for a while. But sometimes he'll like break into
song and do all these voices.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
It's very when they show that he's going on tours,
he's holding a good tuitar because.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
He'll sing songs about and change that voice. Yeah, so
it's it's fine, but it's just not my thing. But
he's good though.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
We have a clip of his most famous song.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
The one thing I love about him, unrelated to his comedy,
is that he always puts his friends in his film.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
So that's like a big Adam Sandler Thingy.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
Noticed grown Ups one that had all his best friends
from the SNL days. The only one that was missing
was Chris Farley because he had passed away. But he
would always have like his crewer people there.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
He has Happy Gilmore Too coming out, and then he
has another comedy coming out after He'll leave Boston.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Do you know who's the other star of that comedy?

Speaker 5 (07:42):
No, George Cloney. Oh, like George has been chilling for
a while in the cut.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Well, yeah, he just came off of his Broadway show,
so he died his hair back to what it was.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
He hated doing that.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, I got to be worth some bread though, Adam.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
I heard his worth about six to seven hundred million
because he right and produces all his own style.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
He lives a very simple time.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
That's what I was gonna say. There's nothing lavish about
that man. She chills, nothing like, yeah, he's like, I'm
not dying to watch his films. I don't like.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
I think I'll watch Ivy Gilmore too, just like everyone's
gonna be talking about it, but I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
It's not my cup of tea.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
All right, Let's talk about the prosecution yesterday giving their
closing arguments in New York.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Her name was Christy Slavic. She spent one.

Speaker 5 (08:30):
Two, three four five hours in the close now never
forget Bev Canoni gave each side an hour and fifteen minutes.
I guess this judge was like, go off queen, five
hours to solidify their case, or so they think. She
honed in on that racketeering charge against did He, saying
did he is the leader of a criminal enterprise.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
He does not take no for an answer.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
She also said that he is guilty of hundreds of
acts of drug distribution alone, and he is the essential ingredient,
and drugs are the essential ingredient of every single freak off.
She told the jury, it is time to hold Sean accountable,
It is time for justice, It is time to find
the defendant guilty.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
So they get the way she flipped it though, because
she one day. She was like, you just got to
find him guilty in one Yeah, you don't gotta do,
you know what I mean, Like, we don't got to
say here, you don't got to look at every single
one of them again, I think, which is the playoff
the defense being like some of these people wanted this,
like they wanted So she's like, you just got to
find that one time when someone didn't want it and
he forced them to do it, and he's guilty.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
And that reminds me so much of the way Alan
Jackson talked and spoke to the jury where he was.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Like you might think.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
He didn't come out and say you might think that
she did it, but he basically said, you know, all
you have to do is say the word but or all.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
You have to think is but did she? I don't know.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
Maybe he's like that is reasonable that like he taught
the jury and kind of the same thing here, like
teaching the jury.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
If you thought but one time, that's it, that's all
you need.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
So the jury gets a case today or Monday.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
So close for the defense is going to be today.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
Which should be very sure considering what the other thing was.

Speaker 5 (10:04):
I mean, if they only took thirty minutes to present.
You would think the clothes would be ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
But they'll deliver their closing arguments today and that's why
the rumor is that the jury will get the case
as of Monday, but who knows.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Maybe they deliberate a couple hours.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Today could go like EYI the way, like he could
literally be out by next week and literally have that
freak off of the fourth that we were talking about.

Speaker 5 (10:24):
You know, I just watched an interview with Aubrey o
Day and you can almost see it in her face
in the interview that she is fearful that this man
might watch. She's like, I can't even put that in
my realm of possibility. She says she thinks that the
jury will be hung on the Rico charges. She said
she thinks they'll find him guilty of sex trafficking. But
she's like, I can't even think of a day where

(10:45):
that man walks like I can't.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I'm leaning that he's getting out.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I just have no feeling today. That's how I'm leaning too.

Speaker 5 (10:51):
Yeah, I mean, thirty minutes, that's how that's how little
they think the prosecution proved. I guess you could look
at it all right, Drake and t page drama I did.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I had no idea. I had no idea.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
But the way Drake has responded leads me to believe
that T Pain's been saying such things for a very
long time. T Pain kind of went in on Drake,
essentially saying that Drake didn't take his own advice and
gracefully exit the rap game.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Here's what he had to say.

Speaker 8 (11:19):
One thing I learned from Drake, but one thing he
hasn't followed his own words. Drake said, I want to
be one of the people that gracefully bow out and
not get kicked out. I have ever since said y'all,
sate y'all, I'll see y'all, I see y'all when I dropped,
don't worry about it, just drop.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Let me know if you heard it. Drake is like, no, listen, okay,
I got another one. I'll check this out. Check this out, y'all.
Don't like that one? Okay, real quick, just one more,
let me try one more.

Speaker 8 (11:48):
And then he's the person that he said, you know,
he didn't want to be, and I learned that from him.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
So I guess.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
At one point in twenty twenty three, Drake did an
interview where he made a comment of maybe exiting music
but didn't and te Pain really like it really stopped.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Pain couldn't let it go. He really so.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
This little clip of Tea Pain talking about Drake not
bowing out when he said he would went viral yesterday,
and Drake actually hopped in the comment section and said,
this guy's always had.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Resentment, resentment for me.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
You can hear it every time he speaks on my
name with a crying laugh emoji.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
What if fakes him to leave in like two years
and wasn't you know his I.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Don't know why Tea Pain cares so much.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
I don't even think. I didn't take that as too
much shade. Again, I don't know the full context of
that whole clip, but I didn't really take that as
shade too much. You know, maybe they were talking about
the beef and they were like, you know, exit the beef.
I don't know what the full context of in.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
The article that I read, it was due to the
fact that he said he was going to retire and
he didn't. But then I'm also like, if I'm Drake
and I hear that, I'm thinking, why.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Do you want me to retire so much.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Okay, yeah, I could see where Drake is coming from.
But I think Drake also thinks that everybody's against him. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
I was shocked to see Drake in the comment section though,
fact because he usually kind of stays quiet.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
But yeah, so.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Tea pain verset drink before man ad tea pain to
my list. That is three things needs to know for Friday,
June twenty seventh. Tyler the Creator is coming to Boston
on July the eighth. We have two tickets in for
you at both seven twenty at eight twenty. Remember those
eight twenty tickets are floor seats, so we'll make sure
to hook you up on a Friday and morning.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Dashy jam In Morning Show with DJ four and it's
saw Take Morning.

Speaker 7 (13:26):
Bostin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four
or five.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Hi, everybody, good morning.

Speaker 5 (13:36):
I myself do consider myself a dumb bitch at times.
You know, I could, I could list a couple of
reasons why I am a dumb bitch. I will go
out and get drunk and act like I don't have
to mother at six thirty the next morning, and then
I'm hungover trying to mother. I have decided, Hey, I'm
gonna take both girls swimming by myself, dumb bitch.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I think that's gonna go well.

Speaker 5 (13:58):
I've also woken up in the morning and thought, I'm
gonna take these two for pancakes by myself, dumb bitch.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Like I disagree. I think that's living life. None of
those situations. I'm like, oh, she's a dumb bitch.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Well uncomfortable, I'm saying it about myself. Like you even
take both kids swimming by yourself. You think that's gonna
go well for you, dumb dumb It's not. Something's gonna pa.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
You can't.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
You can't master that.

Speaker 5 (14:24):
I've done many things in my time where I'm like,
you know, I I remember the time that I went
to Mexico and I was taking shots from a stranger
clearly laced, and I got drugged and I ended up
in the wrong room on the ship, naked in someone
else's shower that nobody was there. Don't make weird, but

(14:51):
you know what I mean, Like like, hey, hey, I'm
in Vegas.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I'm in Vegas. I'm drinking for two days straight.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Finally, I'm like, I don't want to drinking where my
friend's like get drugs off the street.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
They released I was hospitalized PCP. Dumb bitch. Yeah, like dumb, dumb, dumb.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Okay, get that.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
I could list one hundred things that make me a
dumb bitch. But this talk back that we just got, like.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
This is the one. This is the thing that sent
you over the edge.

Speaker 3 (15:21):
This is why it's given dumb bit.

Speaker 9 (15:24):
How do you not know Adam Sandler is from New Answer, Bro,
that's crazy.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
That's the one. I don't think.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
That's all of the stories I've told in my time
me not listen.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
It reminds me of that meme where the girls like
looking up in the sky and you can see the
pieces of the puzzle coming together.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
It's like the the math equation and it's all kind
of figuring out in her head.

Speaker 5 (15:43):
It all came to me because I'm like, oh, yeah,
bren has mentioned that he has seen Adam Sandler multiple times, and.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
You, oh, he that's that's the thing that sent you
like that.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
I also think if you're above the age of maybe
forty to forty five, you're more familiar with the fact
that he's from around here, especially from his time on
esen L. Like again, for most of the people you
associate him with Hollywood, not really being from Like.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Honest, yeah, Florence, exactly, what's gonna say every time I
see him?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
He's on a street in New York. I'm playing basketball in.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
New York, Like it's yeah, but there has been comments
from Florren.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Oh, yeah, he was at this place in New Hampshire.
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
Yeah, but that's like, that's not the craziest thing not
to know about.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
That made me a dumb bitch.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
That all just that's the that was just like light
work right there that I was planning.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
I could think of eighty five thousand other things like but.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
God, yeah, like the PCP one definitely trumps that one.
The uh oh, I brought this one up the other day.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
I don't do well at funerals. I got that. I know,
this is the dumb bitch you want to talk about.

Speaker 5 (16:54):
So I knew that my friend's father had passed away.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
I knew I had to go to the wake.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
I wasn't well about it, but you know what, support,
So I pull up to the wake. I there's a
huge line, and I'm nervous, so I'm not looking up.
I'm not noticing. Dumbitch A single surrounding element of myself.
I am in the line. My hands are clammy, I'm
in black, and I'm just waiting. I'm waiting, I'm waiting.

(17:22):
And now I lift my head because now I'm at
the point where I am greeting the family to get
to the body.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Nobody don't know a single soul.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
So you said sorry for your loss, but you don't
know who the hell do you.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Take ten people to ten people?

Speaker 5 (17:36):
Because now because now I am drenched, like I can
feel sweat going down my legs like it was immediately
when I get really really sweaty, I sweat from my
knee caps like everything was drenched. So I get to
the last woman, who was really visibly upset, so I'm
guessing her husband, and I hug her and I say,
I'm so sorry for your loss. She says, thank you
for being here. I turn, What else am I going

(17:59):
to do? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:00):
You have to.

Speaker 5 (18:01):
I knelt in front of a dead stranger and I prayed, okay,
and then I signed the book on the way out
because I didn't want to make it noticeable that I
was not part of the family.

Speaker 4 (18:16):
Hey, did you see that talker? That camp by who
was that? Do you think that was Dad's jump off?
They thought you were like the mistress who pulled.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Out a sad thing for cousin Ted. He went out
so sad. I was like, oh the hell is that?

Speaker 5 (18:35):
Like I actually was getting hot just even I get
that is it?

Speaker 2 (18:40):
I can't speak. It was one of the worst moments
in my life.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
Situations like that do seem to follow you around, though
you do, like it's so funny.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Dump batch.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
I think about the time where the guy had just
gotten fired in this building and he's at.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
The elevator and there I am, and I.

Speaker 5 (18:55):
Go, let's blow this popsicle stand and he goes, yeah, no,
I am, I just got fired. So I'm I'm never
coming back here again.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
I was like, or he was thinking, I actually might. Yeah,
you have a good idea this place out.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
Yeah, there's there's many, But you know what, I'm not
putting on the list me not knowing that Adam Sandler
was from New Hampshire, Like I went to a dead
man's funeral that I had never met, Like, I add.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
That to the list.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
You are not a dumb fee male dog.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Oh that's so sweet of you. That's so sweet of you.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Unless I'm rolling to your uncle's funeral who I've never met.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
Especially in the Jamie morrishaw with DJ Foreign and Santi When.

Speaker 7 (19:34):
You need to know, No, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
She haven't any more five Friday.

Speaker 5 (19:44):
June twenty seventh, and yesterday did he had to listen
to five hours of prosecutor Christy Slavic solidify her case
against him. Five hours she took in her closing argument.
Just to put that into perspective, Alan Jackson Hank Brennan

(20:04):
were allotted an hour and fifteen minutes from BEV. And
by the way, say what you will about BEV. I'm
happy and thankful for that. Yeah, five hours would have
pushed us a whole other day at the deliberation.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
Five hours is super long.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
That's crazy, It's crazy, you know.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
She kind of honed in on those racketeering charges that
Diddy is looking at, saying that he is the clear
cut leader of a criminal enterprise and he does not
take no for an answer. She went on to say
there were hundreds of acts of drug distribution alone, and
drugs were the essential ingredient. As well as didty of
every freak off party. She told the jury straight up,

(20:40):
it is time to hold Sean accountable. It is time
for justice. It's time to find the defendant guilty.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
But they're not charging him with the drugs, right or
are they? Or is that all under the whole Rico thing.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
It's got to be.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
It's got to be because again, think about it in
the Karen Reid filter, it was like these main three
charges with all these other ones underneath. So I don't
know what comes with each one, but I mean, listen,
the drugs working firm.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
We got the photos of that.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
Yeah, baby oil lube, drugs freak offs.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
So if he gets out next week, he's gonna be
dressed as George Washington. The girl would be dressed up
as Martha.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
And somebody said to me.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Somebody said to me, you know, but he won't have
the same type of support, and I'm like, I argue,
he might have more. He already has support right now
if you look in the comments sections, he has support.
I don't think it's gonna be a situation where did
he get mid Listen. He'll probably lose any sponsorships here
he had, but he already lost those I don't know,
I mean, but yeah that I agree with you for

(21:45):
I think the arrogance and I think it will exude
because I think he will have a party. I think
he will literally be like, y'all try to get me
on party. I'm going to have a party.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Yeah, the Diddy that we saw on like the TV
shows with Ellen and stuff like, Yeah, I don't think
we'll be able.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
We'll see that didiot like again.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Care free half Yeah, I think the party.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Imagine that b y.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
L Yeah, not liquor.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
He he meant lube.

Speaker 5 (22:15):
All right, we got some brand new by the way.
Let me also add in the defense. Diddy's defense will
do their closing arguments today. If it's anything like their case,
it'll be seven seconds.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
I think it's going to be long.

Speaker 5 (22:25):
It could be they only took thirty minutes to present
their case, but they obviously can have five hours for
their closing arguments, So we shall see. Rumor is that
the jury will get that case on Monday, and like
Santi said, did he could be at a Fourth of
July party addresses?

Speaker 2 (22:40):
God only knows what.

Speaker 5 (22:42):
George Washington on Friday, all right, we got new music
overnight for and talk to us.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Oh, there's a ton of new music and we can
only get to a few. So let's start off with
Rick Ross, who was a smart guy doing this move
because he teamed up with Pharrel for real, who just
came off the Louisvaton somem A runway where Beyonce and
jay Z were there. They dropped a new song. It's
actually Rick Ross is produced by Pharrell. This was called
for the Money.

Speaker 10 (23:04):
Everybody won't be Then everybody got rich, then they went
broke on the shop, then they wanted to post when
I came with him, money came for the money, came
for the money. Money.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
Differently, hear Rick Ross on like an Island type of thing.
You know, he's usually doing something that slower beatm or
something more trappy. What you feel about that? I don't
know how how much I like it.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
I just I don't. I wasn't expecting it.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Maybe I don't know correct And again, you know, for
Rell produced, so maybe he's just trying to do it
to get into the algorithms before he dropped something major.
But that was Ric Cross for the Money. Let's go
to Ashley's favorite person in the world, Lizzo.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
By the way, did you see? She admitted she was
on those.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Lizzo teamed up with. How Bessie says, if you know
the relationship between these two ever since they linked up,
they've always been friends and fans have been fiend and
for them to always put out music together. So they
finally did. The Lizo actually got a new album out
right now. It's called My Face Hurts from Smiling. I
don't know if it's a fake smiler from them zempeg.
But this one is called I r L in real life.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
My fine in real life, I'm so pretty baby, I'm
so glamor riss I'm so far go ass in real life,
have fun in real life.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
I can't let no comments section.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Ever with my no if it's real, be the holy home.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
I don't care which way.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
If we had a.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
Turn it up, turn it up on a temperature when
if you feel more, feel let me feel. Now.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
That's exactly what I expect from a Lizzo, that type
of sound.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
I listen.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
I always like when there's modern day references, like I
like a little comment section reference in there, you know,
because because she gets gets a little crazy in there.

Speaker 3 (24:59):
Not go ahead, Sonty. She called herself pretty.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
That just comes off really weird to me, especially considering
what she's done does.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
She does anthems for the women so that way they
can they can sing along to these guys.

Speaker 4 (25:10):
That's fine, but then don't force people to do crazy
things in clubs and Amsterdam.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
Speaking of that, the last line, I don't know if
y'all caught that. She said, if you're feeling me, let
me fill you up.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
Oh, exactly what you want. I don't think that lies
her lawyers, get it out, get it out. So obviously
she's the chorus.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Yeah, she's the hook. Actually not she She has a
verse and a hook on it, and then Liz pretty
much raps throughout that whole song, which was kind of cool.
I'm not mad at it. I'm not a big Lizzo fan,
but I'm not mad at that song. It has that
modern feel to it that could probably play in the club.
Like I said, the ladies were go crazy for it.
This one one of my favorites, of course, Burnham Boy,
who's off of the F one movie soundtrack. By the way,

(25:50):
the f One movie. Me and Santi got to watch
it early last week. Amazing flick. I think Santi, you
can concur It drops today and the soundtrack draft Today
as well.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
Well.

Speaker 3 (26:00):
This is one of the many singles that's coming off
of that soundtrack. Dare I say the soundtrack is just
as good as the movie. This is burna Boy with
Don't Let Me Drown Me?

Speaker 2 (26:29):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Yeah, little d m Afro Houses you know what I mean.
I mean, Burner Boy is one of the biggest Afro
Beach artists. But listen this, this this album, this f
one soundtrack, dojak At, Don Tolliver, Roddy Rich of course,
Berna boy, Ed Sharon. Who else is on here? Ray Rose,
dark Old, you name him? That, Chris Stapleton. It's jam packed.
The movie, like I said, drops to day, it's Santi.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
It's amazing, to the point where I'm going to see
it tomorrow again.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
If you guys had to say whose acting stood out
more to you, Damnson or Brad Brad.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
And I'm gonna say Dampson because I don't have an
experience with him. I knew what I was gonna from Brad,
and both of them are good though.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Yeah, Ford and I've been singing from the rooftops about
how amazing Damsons.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
I mean he is fun. I think in years to
come he will be one of the greats.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
He will be one of the greats. But for me, yeah,
Brad definitely did his thing. I mean he played that
underdog role really really well. But again, f one, even
even not into cars, just the lifestyle that these people
live and the amount of money that's in this sport
will make your mom below. But go check it out.
And like I said, the soundtrack is out today. Shout
out to f one for having us last week.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
All right, lastly, very quickly, Epic Games, the maker of Fortnite,
issuing a refund to a ton of Americans.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Do you guys know about this?

Speaker 3 (27:51):
I heard that. I don't know the reason why, but
I'm seeing them roll out the checks.

Speaker 5 (27:54):
Oh form, wait until you hear the reason why. This
is actually messed up because I think about like your
young son or where you're like the younger kids playing it,
and I'm like, they would all get duped by this.
So they were tricked into making unwanted game purchases as
a part of a two hundred and forty five million
dollar settlement. Guys, nine hundred and seventy thousand refund checks

(28:14):
are going out valued at one hundred and twenty six
mil bill.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Most people will get them today, but some of.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
The deceptive tactics they were using to attack kids was
like a single click purchase, one of which was if
you clicked to get the game out of sleep mode.
They were charging the kids and they like literally just
a hit.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
No, they had no idea.

Speaker 5 (28:34):
This happened to like the game would rest and they
would I'm assuming, and then they would come back to
play and it was like click to get out of
sleep mode.

Speaker 2 (28:40):
They charged them.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
The first one we saw was a charge for four
hundred and forty bucks. What the hell? And we realized
we got charged by Fortnite. Yes, one four four hundred
and forty one box, Yes, and we had to pay it.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
So wait, are you going to get a refund check today?

Speaker 3 (28:55):
I hope?

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Well was it for because things will pop up on
the screen and you just kind of go pack, so
you just you know.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
Hey, I'm not kidding. You should go to this website.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
I'm going to.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
Visit ftced dot com Slash Fortnite. If you think Epic
Games owes you a refund before July night, you land
to the nineties.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
This has happened multiple times.

Speaker 5 (29:14):
That makes me sad though, because these little kids like, oh,
let me hit this so I can play the game again.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, that's exactly. It's not like a like a second
chance for you. Are you sure you want to buy this?

Speaker 4 (29:23):
There's not.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah. It sounds like you just clicked it and they
charge and that was it.

Speaker 5 (29:26):
That shit, the one click purchase, even for adults, like
on Amazon when it's like slide one for one.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
I mean, it's just it's right there. These kids are like, oh,
one click done. Yeah, you need to go on that.

Speaker 8 (29:37):
I have to get out of sleep moments right.

Speaker 5 (29:41):
No, I want to play the game FTC dot Com
Slash Fortnite. If you think that's you this Three things
you need to know for Friday, June twenty seventh, Tyler
the Creator tickets right here right now six one seven, nine,
three one.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
One five twenty five.

Speaker 5 (29:54):
You're gonna kick it with Tyler the Creator at the
Garden on July eighth, Goluck, Sadly and.

Speaker 3 (29:59):
Bo with DJ four and it's Saunty Big Morning, Bustin's.

Speaker 7 (30:03):
Number one for hip hop gamming ninety four or five.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Hi everybody the morning. You know it's so crazy.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
I mean, I think the best example we could give,
and it was one that Santi said was that the
Karen Reid case for us was like Christmas. You know,
it's like the holiday season. You have this big build
up and.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
You're doing all of these cool Christmas events.

Speaker 5 (30:28):
You're seeing Santa at different places, you're telling people what
you want, you're getting gifts, you're going to holiday parties, you're.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
Eating cookies on a Monday. It's great.

Speaker 5 (30:37):
Then all of a sudden it's over and we're just
supposed to move on New Year. New me f that
that's not as fun as Christmas, and that's kind of
how it's felt.

Speaker 11 (30:44):
You know.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
We every single week at this time would have Nick
Rocco join us, and we were kind of gearing up
for a verdict, and we got one.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Karen Reid is freed DA with a d fore read du.

Speaker 5 (30:54):
Some of the Pink people can't seem to accept that
they still are out there, which.

Speaker 4 (30:58):
Is crazy because you would think that's what the solution is,
that's what they wanted, so for them it should be amazing.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
We actually saw it live action.

Speaker 5 (31:05):
We saw a pink person and we said, hey, you
must be feeling great, like huge news.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Karen read acquitted freed, and she was like, no, I'm
not okay. I like what she's like.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
I just.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I can't I can't sleep until I know who did this.
It's like, honey, you can't give up your life.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
You're gonna stop.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
You must stop.

Speaker 3 (31:27):
I'll be honest, I think this might be the first
case we've ever seen that social media was so huge,
not in the in the cases, but actually in the
case itself, because even after all this, you know, prosecutors
are coming out and be like, yo, social media did this.
Social media did that. But this might be the first
case that we've seen, like really social media dive into
it and everybody was just invested in it and posting

(31:49):
about it and blogging about it and tweeting about it.
Oh every make people na nah, and they're not stopping.
Social Media was huge in this case.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
And that's why I wanted to address it today because
there's a lot of things that are still happening on
social I certainly don't see it being talked about as much,
obviously because we got a verdict, but a few things
that we obviously must cover from social media. The first
being we found out that the new current owners of
thirty four Fair of you allowed Alan Jackson and the

(32:20):
team to come to the house to test out. If
one was inside the bedroom and somebody else was out
on the lawn and there was yelling and screaming, would
you be able to hear it from the bedroom. I
was blown away. That's Daddy al on the lawn and

(32:48):
the filming is from inside the house.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Yeah, you would be crystal clear.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
I don't know who the help Paul is. Is there
a fat engines allowed?

Speaker 5 (32:57):
Now?

Speaker 4 (32:57):
If the person's passed out been partying like on I
could you sleep through that? Possibly? But still there's so
much commotion outside with the lights and all stuff that
you would wake up. And also the house is so
close to the street.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
I listen, I've drunk slept and it's like you're dead
in there.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
You know it's tough, but I get I get what
you're saying about the engines. You can feel that like when.

Speaker 5 (33:18):
A truck, a fire truck is idled, you can feel
its presence. I mean again, think about this, guys. This
is inside. This is recording from inside of Brian Albert's bedroom,
and this is Alan Jackson on the lawn. Or pretend
say a Karen Reid on the lawn screaming and yelling
to Kerry Roberts and Jemmacabe, I can hear you.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
I'm waking up.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
And by the way, you gotta think it was louder
because there was legit scream like blood curdling screams. So
that's the first thing that kind of went and everyone
was like, oh my god, now, mind you. I saw
a lot of the Pink people being like, thank you
to the saviors, the current people that own a thirty
four fair of View. God send them well wishes for
allowing our team to come inside.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Oh it's like a cuckoo.

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Another little thing that started to catch fire. And now
we have a response to is Turtle Boy said, I
have to address this because so many people are asking
me why Karen Reid, Yanetti, Daddy al haven't been on
my show, Because, mind you, at this time or by

(34:35):
this time, we got plenty of Daddy al Content, Yanetti Alessi,
they had all done interviews, none of which with.

Speaker 2 (34:43):
The OJ with Turtle Boy. So here's the original him
addressing that.

Speaker 9 (34:47):
Question, eating against Melanie a little who has David Yanetti
and Robert Alessi on twenty two thousand people over there
which is awesome, and I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 9 (35:02):
I can't get a return to call, like I've just
I'm being I'm not gonna lie, I don't know what's happening,
because people are gonna ask me, are you gonna have
these people on? I'm being completely ignored, and it's just
it's I understand they're busy. It's just getting a little
bizarre at this point. And I'm not gonna lie. And
you know me, I say how I feel. I don't know,

(35:23):
and it's just getting a little bit weird, like I
can't get a text back.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
It's like I don't exist. It was like thanks for
all to help, but see you later. I don't know, and.

Speaker 9 (35:31):
I'm not trying to start anything here, but a lot
of people are gonna ask me, like you're getting this
person on? You're getting this person on? Apparently not, And
that's fine. I'm still gonna do what I do. I'm
still gonna cover this case. I don't regret a thing
that I did. This was the completely right and just
thing to do.

Speaker 5 (35:47):
So that clip goes viral because people are like, wait
a second, like he's the one who cracked this case.
Never forget him posting they can't cover up at like
three point thirty am being like whoa, whoa, I mean
years ago, and that's how we all are talking about
Karen Reid. Now watch the change in tone that to
me was very just honest, open, like hey, that was him.

(36:10):
Now here is a couple days later, just yesterday, his
response to the feedback he got from answering that question.

Speaker 9 (36:19):
She assured me that after the first interview she'd be
happy to sit down with me. So no, Karen Reid
and her team are not distancing themselves from me because
they're worried about new charges or because I use foul
language that they don't want to be associated with. In fact,
I was the second person Alan Jackson called after his
wife on the day that Karen read was acquitted. I
was invited out to dinner with all of them that night.

(36:41):
It is purely a business decision for them now, which
I not only completely respect, but I think they would
be crazy and stupid to blow that type of financial
opportunity just to throw me a bone. Everything I did
with this story was for justice for John O'Keefe. I
didn't do this for any sort of professional or monetary game.
I didn't do this to get an exclusive interview with

(37:02):
Karen Reid. I did this because I was outraged and
couldn't remain silent. I am fine with whatever happens from
this point on. I will continue to do my show
and make public speaking appearances talking about my coverage of
the story. If and when Karen Reid is up for it,
I'd be happy to sit down with her for an interview.
But for now, I just hope that she does what

(37:22):
is best for her and her family, as will I.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Wow a written statement he was reading Aiden.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Here's what I'm going to say. I love what you do.
I think you're amazing. If you did this for us
or anyone here, you would be the first call I
pick up all the time. If you wanted me on you,
I would go on anytime. Just because if it wasn't
for him, we woult to be talking about this.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
I want to team him, absolutely, no question. We were
riding with Turtle, but this is crazy.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Now.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
Here's by the way, and I'm just going off the
tones here. The original one is him free talking like
we are right now. He's like they're not answering my
cars calls and it's weird, like I don't know why
they're not getting He even us the words getting a
little bizarre. That goes clearly somebody from that team called
him and was like, what are you doing. You're making
this looks bad for us, like we're not like all

(38:16):
of a sudden, something changed and it was fast. Now,
do I think there's validity to him saying that Karen
could probably make a million off of a Good Morning
America interview, for sure, but that man deserves America.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Did not free you girl?

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Yeah, Turtle Boy.

Speaker 3 (38:34):
I don't care what nobody said. If it wasn't for him,
stand uncover and flip over rocks and find out what's
going on, you would not be You'll be in jail
for let's keeping a fight.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
Hey, speaking of that, he did sixty days.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
In jail for Yeah. So I don't care how much
money you're gonna get. I believe you should give the
first interview to Turtle Boy as down for free. Come
set on my channel. Let's go on into a blob
do it and you'll still make money. You will still
make bread. Don't give him everything, y'all sit down and agree,
you don't got to give me everything. We'll save some
other stuff for you to make some bread somewhere else.
But Turtlebood got to be the first interview. I would

(39:08):
love to have him have a Cameron here so we
could do the interview ourselves first. But Yo, Turtle boy
was your guy, and he felt it, and he was like, naw,
y'all dissing me, y'all.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
Sixteen days in jail away from his kids. He said
that when he would call all his kids from jail,
he would tell them he was on a business trip
so that they didn't know that he was actually locked up.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
The change in tone there is wildly. Yes, he's sitting
in front of a camera, he's reading it.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
You know what it gave Travis Scott after like astra world,
Like he is just being fed words that he has
to say.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
So do you think there was a trade off or
a payoff to make to make him do something like that,
right or hey, we'll just interview.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
Absolutely?

Speaker 2 (39:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:47):
I think he was told relaxed, settled down, we're gonna
hook you. I'm gonna I'm gonna come talk to you.
Just relax, let's just play what we're trying to strategy.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
Now, you're making us look bad to him we're not
answering it, like we've moved on from you.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
You're nothing to us anymore. We got what we needed.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
And we that's but they know if Turtle Boy decides to,
he could turn everybody against you. Yes, let's not get
it twisted. Turtle Boy is that guy. Turtle Boy is
the one who got people leaving their jobs, taking time off.
They don't even got to wear pink shirts and stand
outside of courtroom. It's him if he decides and comes
back and be like, nah, this chick is doing me dirty.

(40:19):
This is foul. He's gonna change her whole perception and
people will hate her. So they got to be smart
and come back and be like all right, till relaxed.
We got you, we go, and he's got to put
out of the state.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
I hated the statement me too, And I remember when
I first heard that clip of him being like, they're
not answering my calls.

Speaker 2 (40:34):
My first thought was ew care like that's just a way.
It made me feel weird, like how like it may?

Speaker 5 (40:41):
It gave the vibe of we got what we needed
and bye bye, bye bye.

Speaker 3 (40:47):
Where you came from? Gus, I mean it was turtle
I hate that he had to put that statement. I like,
as he was reading like it was, I stopped watching it.
I watched I the whole.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
Thing on the way in this morning.

Speaker 5 (40:58):
It was like eleven minutes long, and the whole thing
was just so written out, none.

Speaker 2 (41:02):
Of it so like him.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
He's sitting there on camera, his eyes are off to
the left and you can see his He's just reading
line for line. I'm like, this is not the Turtle Boy.
We know. Turtleboy don't give a damn. He does what
he wants. He says what he wants and and people
listen to him. So yes, somebody came to him and
was like, you know, if you messed it. I don't
know what he I think he got a little threatened.
Maybe I don't know what it was, but he definitely
had to write something up and be like, chat gp.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
CA, I'm getting a Turtle Boy news tattoo.

Speaker 4 (41:27):
Yeah on my phone, tattoo of a turtle on your
legit and honestly, just pick up the phone.

Speaker 2 (41:32):
That's the one thing that he was when he said
the word they're not answering my calls. It's getting bizarre.
That was real.

Speaker 4 (41:37):
That was for the record, we support like Turtle boy.

Speaker 3 (41:40):
We don't need him coming for us, right. No, bro, Listen,
I used to follow the Turtle boy before he blew up.
This is what he does. He would find people randomly
and dig into their life and don't face.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
That stuff is true.

Speaker 5 (41:57):
To me.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
We got find it out about them.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Nah, those tiktoks weren't about me.

Speaker 5 (42:06):
By the way, Bev is in New Orleans on vacation.
We'll talk about that next. If this hi, everybody, good morning.
It's Ashley and the jam In Morning Show. There's so
many little viral moments that are happening on the gram
and on TikTok about.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
The post Karen Reid being freed movement.

Speaker 5 (42:27):
Uh, this one had me in tears because this this
TikTok went viral. Now listen, you cannot see her face
because you have to picture this. It's two young girls
approaching who we can only believe to be Judge Beverly Canoni,
sitting in an airport waiting to go to New Orleans. Now, they,
obviously you'll hear in the video, go up to her
and they say are you the judge? Are you the judge?

(42:48):
And she's like, no, that's my sister. I do know
that her son is a lawyer. Bev Canoni's son is
a lawyer in New Orleans, so I believe obviously that
this is her, but she didn't want to be recognized
at the airport.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Listened to this interaction. Oh my god, that's your sister.
You look so much alike. Amazing, that's so.

Speaker 5 (43:15):
Cool, I tell Okay, really, yeah, God, are you guys?

Speaker 2 (43:19):
Clariss looks so much alike. Wow, that's so cool. She
even still has the thank you tell her by the way.

Speaker 5 (43:29):
Santi then just showed me actual receipts and photos from
the same woman.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Who says she's Bev Cononi's sister on the flight. It's
best listen.

Speaker 5 (43:38):
She just she didn't want to deal with it at
the airport. She doesn't want to deal with it anywhere.
But the real if you have time, guys, the real
fun part about that video is the comment section, because
the comment section ask her differently sustained like that. People
are just making court references in there, and it is
so funny. But yeah, bab was going on a little
vacaey let her let her rest.

Speaker 3 (43:59):
At some point.

Speaker 4 (43:59):
I think we're gonna forget about her. I don't think
she's a major focal point of this on tired thing.
So that's good for her, but at least there say something, Yes,
I'm judge, Bev, I'm going to whatever.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
She doesn't want to deal with it.

Speaker 5 (44:09):
Those little girls try too, you know they're young, but
they could have given us a little shot of the face,
but it's just shoulders down, hilarious. We also have been
hearing a ton from the jury foreman, a lot from
the jury in general, and even Forum was saying there's
a little bit of controversy with jury number eleven eleven.

Speaker 3 (44:28):
Paula Prado is her name. She's on Instagram. She done
gained like fourteen thousand followers on Twitter because she's there
damnar evy day reposting anything negative that said about her
and all those contacting it. Sometimes she's Brazilian, so she
types in a native language sometimes, so I don't understand
what she's saying. But she's very vocal in defending her

(44:48):
decision and the jury's decision. I'm not gonna hold you.
It feels a little cloudy, a little bit like she's
trying to get, you know, fifteen minutes of fame. Paul
If you listening, I love ya. I wish you could
come to the show. I actually dimmed DMD, so you
could do that. But she's like on it. She's like
every day, she's just responding to anything and everything. I'm like,

(45:08):
how much time you got on your hands? But it
is what it is.

Speaker 5 (45:12):
Well, she has some time she was out of work for. Yeah,
so there's controversy surrounding her. I know there's a little
bit of a past with her and her dad.

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Yeah, so there's a rumor that her dad and somebody
posted it up again. I don't know if this, but
they shared the same last name. But the dad apparently
had some kind of like child pornography or child uh
something going on that that he went to court for.
It was a Massachusetts case, so I'm assuming that that
is the pops. But she came back and defended and said, nah,
that's not true or whatever it is. Who knows. So,

(45:43):
but you know what, everybody's digging up stuff about them.

Speaker 5 (45:47):
I mean, it's like at some point we have to
let it go. Hank Brendan his team Alan Jackson hist
they approved.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
The jurors, okay that they have to do that. Uh.

Speaker 5 (45:55):
The foreman, though certainly taking the center stage role.

Speaker 2 (45:59):
I mean this guy is iconic.

Speaker 5 (46:02):
Can you just explain take us into this jury room
and and and how the jury came to the conclusion
it did.

Speaker 11 (46:09):
Collectively together, we we looked at all the evidence that
we was presented with and we made our decision off
of that.

Speaker 3 (46:18):
We didn't at first.

Speaker 11 (46:20):
Some had their own personal opinions on what the case
should be or whatever, and was trying to go down uh,
like a personal feelings and stuff like that, and we
had to stick to what evidence we had in front
of us, and and.

Speaker 3 (46:42):
And go with go with that.

Speaker 11 (46:44):
So it was more or less just trying to figure
out that part, and it took us a couple of
days to really get the gears going, but when we did,
it was smooth trails after that.

Speaker 5 (46:58):
That was one of his more blog and he's done
some really colorful ones, one of which I loved where
he was like, listen, as a juror, I walked in there,
and to me, I said, she's innocent.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Prove to me that she's not.

Speaker 5 (47:09):
And that is certainly what you want out of a
jury of your peers if you're the one in Karen
Reid's spot. But one point he made when they were
asking him why he felt as if the police and
Canton were kind of being shade shady.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
He goes, oh, well, the first thing was if.

Speaker 5 (47:23):
That was my house and there was somebody dead on
my life, they're knocking down my door to get in,
that's for sure, Like how do they not go in
the house. So he has said some things that have
kind of stood out. He mentioned too, like they went
through all that evidence, They sat and walked through all
the evidence, that it was a lot of it. I
have heard rumors, you know, when Nick would come on
and he would tell us like there was one jur

(47:44):
in particular that just kind of never took a singular note,
just kind of like soaked everything in. They're saying that
it was him, that it was the jury foreman, and
that he's a sponge. So when they went to start deliberating,
other jurors have said he remembered everything from the.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Start to the end. He really is the.

Speaker 5 (48:01):
Waiter that's like, what do you want and doesn't write
your meal town he remembers.

Speaker 4 (48:05):
That's interesting that he mentioned that people came in with
a preconceived thing, which we all assume that people do. Yeah,
it's so hard to get away from this o case.
So yeah, it is.

Speaker 2 (48:13):
It is so yeah.

Speaker 5 (48:14):
I mean those are some of the more viral things
that have happened post her being freed, and then, of
course the biggest one Karen Reid in the seaport throwing
out trash.

Speaker 2 (48:24):
I'm like, why is this news? Why is the news
that Karen Reid throws out of her own trash?

Speaker 3 (48:30):
Is until she speaks, everybody's allys going to be TMZ
and the basically way she goes everywhere she does, it's
going to be a movie.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
Is she still on the seaport now? Is she living
there like permanently?

Speaker 2 (48:43):
I think.

Speaker 5 (48:45):
I do believe that she lives with her parents, and
I think she was living in the seaport during the trial,
and maybe she's kind of getting ready to move back.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
I mean, remember she lost her job, her house.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
Her car, But she will get back at some point.

Speaker 5 (48:59):
I don't know if she Everyone's again, I'm not now,
get me a tesla, get me a jeep wrangler, any
anything but
