Speaker 1 (00:00):
Especial morning show When you need to know, we got
you three things you need to Know on Bustin's Number
one for hip Hop and the best Throwbacks.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
She Haven't any More vives Tuesday, January sixth, And you know,
if you're a man, you might be thinking to yourself,
I need me a girl like Carti, no matter what
I do, got my back.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
And she'll take you back if you cheat.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
That's that one's been well documented. But Cardi b is
out here protecting her man's our man, Stefan Diggs of
the Patriots. Listen, he's uh, he's looking at a charge
strangulation charge. I guess there was a you know, an
incident between him, so she says, and a chef, an
ex employee, who claimed that he both choked and slapped

(00:47):
her over a salary dispute that happened earlier in December.
We gotta believe the chick is local, because if it
happened December, he's been here and he's been working. I
read a little bit of the police report, and it
seems like there was kind of a back and forth
in a sense of hey, I need you to leave

(01:11):
the house her. Well, this is not part of my vacation.
You need to pay me for that. Hence the salary
dispute and things I guess just kind of escalated from there.
CARTI is really standing on Hey. Absolutely none of this happened.
I can prove it. Here are my text message exchanges
with this woman. She said not once did she say

(01:31):
anything to me about getting touched. Not once. Mind you,
we were talking every single day until she left the house,
and she just wrote me this. But I will let
the court handle stuff. And when the court does handle this,
I want you, guys, all of you that were talking
smack to me, to be on your knees apologizing just
as loud as the way you've been harassing me. And
I put that on my two month old son in
the name of the Lord. That's how confident I am.

(01:54):
And the text message exchange was basically the chef saying
to CARTI, I'm so sorry I can't talk to you.
I didn't say that, especially in that way It was written,
Please contact my mediator and she will answer anything you
need to know, but only in person and confidently, Lynette.
Now we don't know the rest of the conversation. It
was just that little part, which by the way, was
a old tweet and delete card. He posted it and

(02:16):
took it down. But she's really standing on the fact that,
you know what, this never happened. Look at the tax messages.
I'm not trying to hide anything. You'll see what happens.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
In course, does the saying that police report that she
was choked or did she just say that someplace and
it got out there.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
I didn't get that far. I just read like the
I wanted to read about the salary dispute where this
all started, and so I didn't get into that. It
was only a couple of pages. It wasn't long then.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Also too, like unless you agreed upon it before that
you were going to get paid on vacation, then that's
not a part of the deal, right.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
See, And again I'm not in that business. I don't
know how that works. But if you're like a private
chef and a celebrity hires you, you know, I'm assuming
you guys kind of work that out amongst yourselves, and
if he asked you to leave, and if you're not
cooking during that time, do you get paid?

Speaker 5 (02:58):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
I don't know how it works. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, I mean this feels like it's false. And I
also feel like it's a money grab too.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It also seems like it's bothering Stefan Digs. I mean
he he won't speak about it, but when he has
very quickly mentioned like I've been going through something in
the last couple of weeks, like he looks hurt by
it and we need this man that we need, you
know what he needs catch up. False. I don't mean
he's about this.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
I don't mean this is the way it's going to
sound like. Listen, I don't care how he feels about
this as long as we went on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, you're really like you're us. Yeah, you're concentrating. I
get it. And with that being said, he's supposed to
be in court for it January twenty third, but he's
back in action this Sunday, eight o'clock, Bright Lights, Wildcar Game,
lock line in. All Right, we got new music coming
from Bruno Mars. People were very excited about this. One
tweet that set the world a fire. He said, my
album is done. Yeah, it's new. It be his first

(03:46):
solo project in ten years now. Remember he had Silk
Sonic with Anderson Pock, but this would be him by
himself and.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
They're saying the first single is Cocaine is My Candy?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Sounds like a banger would Yeah, that could already exist.
Actually that's how good it. Yes, Steve Nie made it
actually all right. And lastly, Wenona Rider starring in asap
Rocky's new music video, the Collab. We did not see coming.
But asab Rocky also gearing up to release his first

(04:19):
full album in eight years. He had a lot going on. Rihanna, babies,
court cases, fake guns, all the things. But yeah, our
Galli went on a rider, isn't it right? From stranger
things into this? Here is a clip from asap Rocky's
newest single, punk Rocky. When I think punk, I think

(05:20):
would own a rider. She's like perfect for the video.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
People don't realize this. Back in the day she was
like the girl like the nineties, like she was a
massive star and.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
This, yeah, she's kind of the girl right now. So
there you have it. That was a clip from punk Rocky,
the first single off of asaps very anticipated album, Don't
Be Dumb. That has three things you need to do
for Tuesday, jan the sixth, Oh, the check in is next.
I love this. What are you doing? How are you doing?
What's going on? We're talking about anything you want? Six

(05:49):
one seven, nine three one one nine four five six
one seven nine three one one nine four five. What
are you doing? How are you doing? Tell me a story,
gossip with me, anything you want. It's the check In
Only I Jam ninety four five that us up sadly.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
And the jam In Morning Show.

Speaker 1 (06:04):

a Tuesday.

have you been? I've missed you. Keirsey is in Lynn
checking in saying hi and with child. Oh we're pregnant.

(06:39):
Oh you're pregnant.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Hi guys, Yeah, Hi guys, good morning, good morning. But yeah,
you guys said, I'm from Lynn. I'm just super excited
to be pregnant again with my second boy. You know,
I went from not wanting any kids so now being
a mom of two. So that's freaking insane.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, that is insane.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
It is crazy, to be honest. But even on my
husband's side, I was the seventh child popping up. Oh boy, I.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Was about to say, did your husband convince you meeting him?
Was that the thing that pushed you over the edge?
You're like, okay, I'm doing it now.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Yeah, pretty much. I'm like, look, I never wanted kids
and I'm popping out kids for you. This is crazy.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yeah, this is true love, This is true because I
do hearn that off and people being like, yeah, I
don't know, you know how I feel about kids, and
then they kind of meet the right person where they're like, oh,
I have to pro create with you.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah. I'm the youngest of seven, so I was like
zero children. Now, yeah, are changing? I am four months right.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Now, four months. How are we feeling?

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Yeah, I'm feeling good. I just found out the gender
a couple of days ago, so I'm really excited. His
name's going to be Riley. So super excited about that.
I wanted to check in with you guys.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Oh yeah, how was how was the holidays? What do
we miss.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
It was smooth. It was smooth. It was actually it
was a little wild, but not to be TMI. But
besides that, I spent it with my little close family
and I was really happy to be with them.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
Smooth and wild. What a combination. Yeah, well, congratulations on
the babes. I'm happy you're out of the first trimester
because we all know that can bring on all the
nausea and all rude all things. Yeah, for some it
really can be. It was horrible both times for me,
but this is exciting. We got a baby on the
way in twenty twenty six.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
Yes, we do. Thanks so much for you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
All right, congrats. I guess for hour holidays. Word and
she said they were smooth, they were released super Actually
they were wild. Not to be TMO they were Which
were they smooth or wild?

Speaker 4 (08:40):
Why?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
I know, I just want to get it. It was different
and didnt want to get into it. Meg is in Princeton, May.
What's that tough go for the car? Yesterday? Eh?

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Yeah, I was driving my neighbors to their lacrosse games
ten pm. My car dies. Thankfully there was a nice
dad there would jumper cables. But I'm deciding to start
my new year today because I gotta leave that in
twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Yeah, we gotta get a new car. I gotta get
a new car too. It's so stressful. What are you
gonna do?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Well?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (09:11):
I just have a charging in the garage, so hopefully
the battery lives to.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
See another day.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
Yeah, but yeah, that's just how that's that's how my
day would But it's better now that I'm on the radio,
that's for sure.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Guy will listen. I'm here for you. A ten pm
lacrosse game though, Where they are they young kids? Because
that's a really late game on a Monday.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
Yeah, it's a yeah, it's a club there were some
it was a club program. Shout out Bay Stay Bullets,
best lacrosse club in the in the region. But yeah,
I was there for an extra hour, so that's how
it ended up being ted.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
But yeah, it was all right.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Everything worked out. A very nice dad jumps my car, so.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
We are all good now, good And Meg? What do
you How old are you? What do you do like
for life? What's your job?

Speaker 5 (09:55):

I'm just home from college and yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Just are lack Are you a lax bro?

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Like?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Can the girls be lax bros too? Blax scals Me
and the girl.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Yeah, we're lax bros. Maror mac lacrosse.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
This is our year.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
We've been we've.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
Been killing it in fall ball and I can't wait.
Our season starts go back to practice January thirteenth, so
almost that time.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Well we'll be cheering for you guys. Mary mac lacrosse.
You heard it here first. This is your year. Do
you have a ninety four or five believes it?

Speaker 4 (10:34):
Thank you?

Speaker 2 (10:35):
I love it. Meg, Thanks for the call. You wonder that.
I mean, I don't ever want to that, but in
that conversation, they always call people to play lacrosse lax bros.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Yeah, because they have a certain look and feel they do.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
They have like the shaggy hair, they're like.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
They're white.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, their first names are like Brent and Chad.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yes, yeah, and they wear like boat shoes and yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
Can totally say it. Six one seven nine five six
one seven nine one one nine four calling. We're talking
about whatever you want the check in. Good morning, everybody,
Good morning, it's Ashley that you have a morning show.
We are back. We're here. We're checking in and guess
what we're also doing making major announcements and not a
miss good morning.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
Good morning, Santi Ashley.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
So before you make your major announcement, how many people
know this secret? Maybe about three? Three people know this secret?
Tell everybody what's going on.

Speaker 6 (11:35):
I'm also pregnant. I'm fairly early. I'm about ten weeks.
So that's why I wanted to stay anonymous. I don't
want to jinx myself. It's my first pregnancy after a miscarriage,
so I just wanted to, you know, play it safe.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
You are, you know, because I've talked about this on length.
I've had many miscarriages in my time, unfortunately, and you
even calling and being able to say that your ten
weeks pregnant is you are better than I like. You're
strong and I'm really proud of you for doing that.
That's that's great.

Speaker 4 (12:06):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (12:06):
I'm actually the one that bought the ninja from you
as well.

Speaker 2 (12:11):
Oh my god, what.

Speaker 6 (12:14):
About that?

Speaker 2 (12:16):
This is a secret. I got it for my boyfriend.
Oh my god. Two of my friends. Oh she hung up. Guys,
Oh my god, what I know? I know. Two of
my friends got me a housewarming gift. I didn't want it.

(12:42):
I feel, oh my god, I hate her. I'm happy
for her brancake, I'm happy for her brandan say the
ones probably listening trying to do it on Facebook marketplace
really quick because because it was like a good thing
and I wanted to.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
But now, so you've got something and you sold it
to her.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yes, And here's what I thought. If I sold it
and I bought something with the money, then it could
still be like that they bought me something and maybe
it wouldn't feel like so wasteful. I don't know, but
this is just this is not good.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
Did you sell it for a lot?

Speaker 2 (13:14):
No? God no, I sold it for what like, way
less than it would have been.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
That is awkward, though the girl calls in and outs
you like that, doesn't I'm a little.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Speech like because I thought I could do it in
secret and my friends would never find out about it,
But now they could just listening to the podcast because
I don't sell a tone on the marketplace. I love
buying stuff on Facebook Marketplace. But it was just sitting
there collecting dusk, and I'm like, I will never use this,
and somebody should.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
That's why you should always ask what if somebody kind
of need and then buy it for and then don't
don't surprise them with them.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
What hurts my heart is I could tell they really
thought they had something because I they've just really they
were very excited to give it to me, and so
I just went along with it. It happily. I blocked
them on Facebook Marketplace and I sold it to that nice.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
Mom, which is a step for you because usually if
you don't like something, you'll tell the person you don't like.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
It, I know. And they were just so pumped up
about it. They were like, this is it. Your life
is going to be changed, and it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
I can't wait to hear what it was.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
It never came out of the box that it was
a desk collector there for a while. My god, do anything.
I can't do anything.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Something's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four five.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
Hi, Hi guys. Ohr fluay.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
That's lung cancer fluay.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Now you know my liver is going out first before Yes,
big day in my world. We are going to tour
a preschool tonight.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
It's a big step.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
It's a huge step. You know. Last year I was
really in my head about not putting her in to
preschool for two years before she goes to kindergarten. Just
because of her age. I could have put her in
last year, but I thought better of it. She'll go
this upcoming year. If she gets in. It's a lotto system.
I feel like I'm trying to get like a bag

(15:26):
or my favorite sneakers or something. I don't know. But
if she does get in and we like the school
today and all the things, she would go starting September
three days a week in the morning.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
That's exciting. Do you know what you're looking for when
you go to the school, Like, do you have something
like in mind?

Speaker 2 (15:42):
No, I'm just trying to catch a vibe like I'm
just trying to catch a vibe of safety. Yeah, and
you know, feeling okay at a place where I would
be dropping her off for a couple hours.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
I would look for a cleanliness. That's an important part too.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Yes, that's gotta be a high on the list.

Speaker 3 (15:59):
You also want to look around and look at our
like other rooms, and see how the teachers are cheating
the kids too. That's another thing.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Oh my god, what else?

Speaker 3 (16:09):
And again I told you this, it's a small thing,
but you want to look on the kids faces if
they all have snots all over their face that look dry,
they've been there for a long time and they're not
washing their faces.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
Yeah I should. I'm in my head too, like should
I wear jeans? Like do I need? I don't know
what the I've never done this before, so I'm like,
do I show up in business cash?

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Like, oh, you wear whatever you want? Because like what
like what are they going to say if you walk
in with like leggings, Like, oh no, she's leggings. No
she can't come here. No.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
I just don't know if it's like a you know,
And I'm happy that they offer this, that we can
get the tour into this, because it's like I'm dropping
my little precious babes off and put it that is
that is the thing I can't get out of my head.
And it like chokes me up to think of, you know,
you're putting your baby in other people's hands. I don't
like it.

Speaker 3 (16:57):
I remember the first time we dropped off our oldest one.
On the emotional part was kicking him up the first
day and seeing him without him seeing us and seeing
him in his new little like circle of friends and
him like eating lunch that got me super emotion.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
That's gonna get me emotion.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
He looked happy, so it was okay, and that will.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Make me happy. And I actually said to her yesterday,
I'm like, would you want to go to school this year?
And she's like, yeah, can I get a lunch box?
That was her first question. But you know, there's a
question to hear and you answer some questions. And one
of the questions was why are you doing this? And
I mean my real answer is like I want her
to understand what a school setting is like, so that
way when she goes to kindergarten it's not like, oh

(17:36):
my god, what is this? But also these are the
kids that she's going to be going to kindergarten with,
and it's like, I would be nice for her to
kind of have like a little base, a little bit
of a knowledge as to who, yeah, we are.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I think the social part is so important. Yeah, I'm
I don't mean to offend, but I'm gonna I'm going
to offend me. No, just in general, homeschool kids are weird.
They don't adapt, well, they don't.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
You're poking a bear here, go ahead.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
Bear, come for me. Like it's like everybody who knows.
The homeschool kid, they know when they get to high school.
In those ages, they just seem a little bit. So
what you're doing is really good. I think that's the
most important part.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah, and listen, she she will love it. Yeah, she
will flourish, She'll love it. You know. I drop her
off at gymnastics sometimes it's just a little camps there,
and she's it's time. But it's just so crazy how
fast it happened. And now I feel like they're gonna
be interviewing me as well. This is like a dual
interview or something. I don't know. And what if when

(18:33):
we're in there she says something crazy.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
They have said crazier things. Trust me on that. They're
not interviewing you. They they're gonna take your money. They're
gonna sell themselves to you.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
And that's that's that's another thing. But I just I
can't believe we're here. I can't believe that we are
going to look at a preschool today, like what.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
And I keep telling you this like the time goes
by super fast. It is crazy. My oldest is getting
his license in like a week and a half like
that. That's to me blows my mind. And then two years
way he's going to college. I know, are you serious?
And that gets me super emotional.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Saying saying to somebody who has just had a baby,
like it goes by so fast they they won't understand it.
And then when you live it, you're just like, because
what's the saying. It's like the days are long, but
the years are short. That's a fact. I like, last
year was a blink of an eye. I don't even
it's crazy.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
I believe I've told you this a couple of months
ago that by the time they get to high school,
you have already spent seventy five percent of the time.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I can't handle it.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Like, by the time they get to high school, like
think about that? No, and then yeah, so like it's
it's really tough now to be in the moment and
slow things down at this age because every day probably
feels like a blur and then they get sick. There's
all this stuff. But man, if you can slow it
down and live in like the moment, it's so important
because it goes by fast. So today, enjoy the moment.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
I'm going to be a boohooing walking down these hallways
like that, I'm going to be the psycho.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
You'll be boo hooing the first day you drop them
off at a real school or the saying they get
on the bus. So then like that's a real pivotal point.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I I can't picture her not this year the following
year for kinder and getting on a bus. Now I'm
driving her, I'll be here.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
But regardless, you still have to drop her off at
the school in like right and la Lee, it's like
first grade or yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
Yeah, that's it's just parenting is so weird.

Speaker 3 (20:18):
And then they get boyfriends old friends, and that's a whole.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
I know, and I can't even think about. I truly cannot,
because it is true, like you have these days where
you're just like, oh, I mean yesterday, I don't even know.
It was such a blur. He was working in twenty four.
It's crazy. It's just everyone sick. They're crying, they're whining,
I don't have enough hands. And then I think about,
like I only have a few years of this, and

(20:43):
then it's then they're at school. I don't who am I?
What person do I become When I go home and
there's no little kids running around, Like I can't even
think about it. I will boo who on this radio station.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
I feel like I used to tell yourself like this,
like years ago, like oh, you're gonna be this, and
you're gonna be that. You like, you're an idiot. I'm
not going to do that. I'm not going to It
changed me, no change for the better.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
It did. It's crazy, but I will say Santy told
me that. I'm right now being like, it's gonna be
so sad. I genuinely don't want them to go to school,
but you told me that once they go to school,
that that's great.

Speaker 3 (21:17):
Oh my god, it's like the best. Oh school's back
in session.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Thank god. I see these memes. I'm like, no, I'm
going to be times will probably change.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Sadly show Good morning, Bastin's number one for hip hop
you am in ninety four or five.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
All right, everybody that is going to do it for us.
I have to go to a pre school. Actually did
pretty good getting through that conversation without getting too emotional.
But I have had many a moments over the past
couple of days where I think about it. When I
kiss them good night, sometimes I want to cry. Really yeah,
it's very strange because you know what it is. I

(21:56):
had kids later in life, so when I start doing
the math and I think be forty this year, Like
it's it's crazy. You're not thinking about like no, no, no,
I'm just thinking like damn, like when she's twenty four,
I'm gonna be sixty four.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
Yeah, but you won't know the difference of what it
would have been like without what I know, you know.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Which makes it yeah, yeah, but preschool, preschool it is.
I I hope they're not going to judge me for
whatever I'm wearing a ball make bond.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
There's probably a good chance that they're going to recognize,
you know, the door. You're not going to understand the
demographic of girls I work there. They're on the younger end,
so they're going to know that it's you one thousand
per trust me, I'm figure about you.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
If they do. Yeah. Like We've only been back a
couple of days of the show, and I'm so many
people are asking me like how Santi. I don't know,
I've seen the man for forty eight hours, Like, I
don't know why everybody's no concerned about you? What about me?

Speaker 4 (22:54):
Me?

Speaker 2 (22:54):
Crying all the time? All I do is cry.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
I've told you There's there's one dad specifically in my
town that like ask about you constantly, like and like
not not that it crosses a line, but like you know,
he's told that line about like what he's asking. Yes,
if his wife knew what he was asking about, she
would not have told me some of the things he

(23:16):
I have told you about him, like whenever I ask him,
he finds a way to ask about you. And I
remember back in the day he was mentioning like, oh
my gosh, she's so hot, so hot.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Well, oh god, all right, shout outs.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Yes Instagram shout outs going up to Stephie p Nikki
four five seven and Stephanie James.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Should for all the mommies out there that understand what
I'm saying when I say I think about the kids
being in other people's hands and it just makes you
feel the type of wayman gets you emotional. Thank you
for reaching out. We made a couple of people cry
to that conversation because it is like it's you know,
it's it's evolution, it's it's life and I know that
father time, but it just I wish I could slow

(23:57):
it all down.

Speaker 3 (23:58):
It's only the beginning of these emotional thoughts you're going
to have, like over the years about all these stages.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Yeah, and you know what, it's about time she's mean
to someone else, because I'm pretty sick of it.
