Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake yo. Well, well, well here we are back weekends.
(00:20):
Just go it's just it's gone. It's like I feel
like we were just it was just Friday. Now we're
here again Monday. But at least we got a lot
to talk about. The Diddy news took forever to come
out on Friday, so obviously we'll cover that next. The
Patriots win, Stefon Diggs putting on a show CARDI with
the no post something's up there, something's up there?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Can I say about the Diddy thing? Like that tragged on,
like why not just come out the gates? They here's
what it's gonna be. Like, they did this whole facade
in the entire day. I understand it's a big case
and all this stuff, but.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Well they had they I think the time allotted was
they stop down for lunch. Pissed me off, as like,
guys like, you can have your sad, you can have
your scene. We needed an answer, but they were letting
people speak like did he spoke? And they were going
through the motions of people speaking, and so that's.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
I understand, but come on, like they just like born said,
the guy already knew what he was going to do,
and now Saunds like fans in the public, just waiting,
just tell us, right, just tell us.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I want to call myself a fan, I would just
say I was nosy, not fan, just a nosy person waiting,
just waiting and waiting for what was going to happen.
But yeah, we had a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
How was everyone's weekend good? I had twenty two girls
in my house on Friday night.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
It was photo of all those Like you said twenty
and I'm thinking probably not twenty. It was twenty.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Twenty two crazy and it was so loud in there.
And then at one point I was drinking wine and
I fell asleep on the couch and I kept feeling
people past me. So these girls were like, oh, look
at man, that's McKenna's dad, just passed out on the couch.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
Then it got to the point Where'm all right now,
I'm embarrassed and I'm drooling like like all of myself.
So I went up to bed before the even lefty tough. Yeah,
but they looked like they had fun. It was a
glow in the dark party too, so we had the
blue lights.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
On and everything. So what do they wear? Like neon stuff?
Got it? So yeah, and it was so loud.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
No, okay, that was the compromise because I think they
initially wanted to do that, but we were like, no,
we're not going to do that, but you can invite
as many people to the house as you guys want.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I know, you told me that Joanne really didn't want
to order. She wanted to make stuff. Did that? Did
she cook up her pasta? She ended up making pasta,
but her mother came and helped.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Ah, because that's a lot of people. Yeah, but pasta's easy.
You can't mess up pasta. It's simple. You boil it
and then you put the tomato sauce in and then
you go.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
But that's cooking in bulk is not fun.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
The issue was the next day because they had I
think it's tinsel or like, I don't know, it's something
that they had was all over the yard.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
It was everyone so.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
It was stringy something that was just everywhere, grass, skirts
thatched skirts, like I don't know, something that they had.
It was just completely else as well.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
What did they you said they were doing crafts like what.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
They were painting pumpkins and so then we had to
go buy a ton of pumpkins. So they're making pumpkins,
and at one point I saw one of the girls
come to the house with like paint all over her hands.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
I'm like, oh, man, touch a singular thing. But all the.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Girls behave they're all like nice people and stuff. So
it was fun. Nice people and there's always a a
bunch of my daughters don't get involved in that type
of stuff, and like, this group of girls are not
dramatic like that.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Clubs.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Clubs was good. First time I've ever been. Y'all know
what a steinholding is?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Steinholding? Stein?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
You ever heard of that? First time I learned about this.
So I did this Oftoberfest event out in Low. You
mess Low by the way, they will feel beautiful spot ye,
but they yeah, you gotta hold this big ass mug
that's full of liquid. They put water in it because
they didn't want to have a be all over the field.
But you gotta hold that joint out straight arm. Can't
bend your arm can be above your head, gotta be
(04:00):
right by your chest like straight out. And it's a
heavy guys that you got to hold out and whoever wins.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Whoever holds it the longest, and I'm assuming they usually
have beer in it.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
They usually have been it. This one they had water
in it. But yeah, these are some heavy mons steinholding.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I was like, what are we've seen them? Yeah, I've
never seen this done before.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
No, I didn't. I didn't partake the DJ I was playing.
I was playing the music while they were doing it.
But yeah, it was impressive.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
This one.
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Check hell that joint forever. We were like, damn girl,
But that was the highlight of my thing. Oktoberfest seeing
people getting.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
Drunk Octoberfest sounds like it's the time. Remember when Drake
was just in Germany and he was at october Fest.
He he went full costume and everything like he yeah,
and he looked like he was heaving.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
One two people had had costumes on. I had to
go like the overalls laden.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, it's not real costume, but it's like it's like
they're like, get up there, get up. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:56):
You had to put a playlist together and it's like
all German music, and I was like, I hope they
ain't saying nothing too crazy in these songs.
Speaker 1 (05:05):
Yeah, I don't know what's happening. I'm just I'm like, I.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Wonder happened Germany from the fifties on cool before that,
I don't know before time.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
It's not good, not good, not good. Luckily nobody knew German,
so you were safe. That's good. I did the old
booze and bounce party on Saturday. Shout out to busy
bee jumpers. Busy bee jumpers are the best, Like if
you aren't in the area, if you're in New England,
and I mean you have to go on their website
to see where they delivered to. But they're huge in
(05:37):
the South Shore and they come on Friday. You pay
for the bounce house, they drop the thing off on Friday,
pick it up on Sunday. You do nothing like The
team that they have is is. They're so smart, they're
so good. They're in and out. But yeah, when we
decided we were going to do is, I basically told
my friends, I was like, also apply the bounce house.
You guys supply the booze. And it just turned into
(05:58):
a satturday like everybody you showed up. Of course, people
brought more things than just booze, but there were so inside.
We did the drugs because the kids were outside. But no, no,
but I mean like cookies and I made cupcakes and
I just I loved it so much because I had
(06:18):
Santi's second skeleton, so I put that up by the
bounce house. I had my penny Wise up the stairs
holding a sign that said welcome to Booze and Bounce.
But everybody stayed on theme. It's like they knew that
I would have a Halloween theme going, so everybody brought
stuff that had to do with Halloween for the kids.
So it was just tons of food and it was
so fun and it was it was a time we
(06:39):
went out after and that's when things got aggressive. I anyways,
it was it was a lot. I'm just not drinking,
am I what you say that? Every couple of weeks
when I was in the kitchen sneaking shots, I was like,
this is I'm doing it again. I can't. I can't. Like,
if I think about it, I start to gag. I
could do. You guys believe in Hair of the Dog?
Speaker 6 (07:01):
Have you?
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Are you hair of the dog? Here of the Dog
is when you're so hung over the next day that
you have a drink to kind of level yourself back out.
I'm not that way. I don't know because I never
tried it. Yeah, some people swear by it, like you
have one or two drinks the next day to kind
of like get your hangover to a zero and level out.
I can't do that. And the tough part is I
was drinking shots of mcgilligutties, And if you've ever had that,
(07:25):
you know, my husband calls it like Southy mouthwash, but
it's minty, so it basically tastes like you are doing
a shot of scope. So the next morning I start
brushing my teeth immediate dry heaving brush. I'm like, you
know what, Ashley, We're done. We're never drinking again.
Speaker 7 (07:45):
Hold up, especially and the gam In Morning Show with
j Foreign and Sauty.
Speaker 8 (07:50):
When you need to know, we got you three things
you need to know on Buston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more Vives.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
All right, here we are Monday, October sixth, and let's
start with Diddy. We were all waiting waiting to know
what this sentencing it was going to look like. You know,
they stepped into the courtroom on Friday around nine thirty am,
and we didn't get us sentencing until damn near dinner.
I mean it was like four or five pm where
(08:21):
we finally found out what kind of time Diddy was
going to do. If you haven't heard the news, Sean
Diddy Combs was sentenced to fifty months. Now we know
he had already done. I want to believe twelve months,
twelve to fourteen he had already done. So you add
that in, he's looking at about four years and two
months in federal prison plus a five hundred thousand dollars fine.
(08:45):
That's the maximum allowed for the two counts of transportation
to engage in prostitution. The conviction and the sentence can
and will be appealed. We know that's that's coming down
the line. But the judge basically said that he felt
this was necessary to send a message of accountability for
quote abuse, and that Diddy had harmed women, and he
(09:08):
emphasized the need for a substantial sentence to deter similar
crimes and send a message that victims experiences will be
taken seriously. Now, the internet was back and forth on this,
especially because Diddy's gonna serve he's gonna get credit for
the twelve months he served. He got that five hundred
thousand dollars five But the photo of Ditty, you know,
(09:30):
laying down on the floor, it looked like he was
maybe like hitting his chair or something when he found
out he was sentenced to fifty months. I think him
and his team really thought time served was what it
was going to be. It in fact was not. There
was a big divide online and I as we were
coming in here this morning and I was talking to
you about it's on, I was like, I don't want
(09:51):
to play this game of us trying to guess what
it's gonna look like for Diddy. I think it's it's
just better that we go to a professional. So Jay
Duncan is joining us in a a defense attorney. Jay
a lot of back and forth online. Did he was
sentenced to fifty months five zero in a federal prison?
But there is a divide and I see a lot
of people talking about it online. Some people are like, Hey,
(10:13):
we're going to see Diddy in a halfway house here
in six months. I think it's best to have you
on to kind of help us break down because I
know that if once a case is federal, I thought
there was this notion that they had to serve I
think up to eighty five percent of this sentence. Why
are we now seeing people say well, no, no, no,
he might just be in a halfway house by middle
(10:34):
of next year.
Speaker 9 (10:37):
Well, I think it's possible that that can happen. But
I also think a lot of people online are confusing
state and federal sentencing.
Speaker 10 (10:46):
So in a.
Speaker 9 (10:47):
State sentence, that likely would happen. You serve so much
less of your actual sentence. But the Feds, you nail
that on the head. You're a little bit closer to
serving more of your sentence than last of your sentence.
So personally, I'd be surprised if he were in a
halfway house in two or three months. But I've also
(11:07):
heard in the rumor mill that twenty four months is
the new year and a day in the Feds, so
he might be out faster than we think.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Interesting, and I know now also the big conversation is
where is he going to go? Can you talk a
little bit about that process? Is that? Do the judge
and his team kind of work together on that? Do
they have any say? Does it matter if they're like,
we'd rather have him here, or is that essentially the
judge making that decision as well?
Speaker 9 (11:36):
I don't believe the judge has any say in that decision.
I think that is all the classifications matter. Once the
sentence is laid down, so I could anticipate that at
some point today we'll find out where he is. But
I haven't heard that yet.
Speaker 1 (11:54):
I just saw on Friday that his team told the
judge give us the weekend so that they can kind
of look over over where they want. That you'll give
us some time, but that is important. Were ends Ashley?
I have.
Speaker 9 (12:10):
I have many many concerns and questions about what came
out of the defense team's mouth on Friday afternoon, but
we can leave it at.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
That, well, I can. I can only imagine. Do you think,
as a defense attorney it was a fair sentence?
Speaker 9 (12:24):
I do?
Speaker 10 (12:25):
I do.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
I think I thought the prosecution was overshooting, and I
thought defense counsel was drastically undershooting. And I think the
judge did a pretty good job of landing squarely in
the middle.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
Yeah, for those of you guys that don't remember, prosecution
was pushing for eleven defense attorneys were pushing for time served,
and it was it was somewhere smacked up in the milliment.
It was. It was fifteen months, it was around five years.
So listen, we shall see that appeal is coming, we know.
Speaker 9 (13:00):
Oh yeah, if for nothing more than the latest ruling
where the judge considered all of the conduct that he
was acquitted of of. We're definitely going to see an appeal,
Yeah we will.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
And you know, his Didy's attorneys were just like, we
don't believe the sentencings match the verdict that came from
the jury, So that's what they're going to be pushing.
Speaker 6 (13:22):
Jay.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Thank you so much for joining us. Listen, the legalities around.
The legal stuff just gets a little crazy for us sometimes,
so I'm happy to have you on and thank you
so much.
Speaker 9 (13:32):
Well, Ashley, it gets a little crazy for us too,
but I'm always happy to help.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
I believe it. I believe it. Thank you so much.
Friday happened for and I know you really thought it
was going to be time served. How did you feel
when you saw the sentence? Unfair?
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Come on, guys, like they took into consideration things that
they shouldn't have taken into consideration. He got found god
guilty on other stuff like try him for prostitution or whatever. Yeah,
calling the two charges that he got, I think it
was over excessive opinion. I don't agree with whatever that
lawyer just said.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
It's hard to like not you know, because like the
Cassie Stuff. I think that's you know, not.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Again that Cassie Stuff was shot and he got found out.
Built No, like absolutely, but it was involved in the trial.
I think, like, again, I'm not a lawyer, but if
I'm the judge, I'm sitting there and listening to all
these things, it's hard not to like not let that
one go.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
Well, that is what that was his thing. And he said,
quote there is a need for a substantial sentence because
he wants to send a message that victim. He said,
quote victims experiences will be taken seriously. That was the
judges thing. Yeah, no, listen, I I didn't think at
any by any means he was getting eleven. But like
I said, right smack dab there in the middle and
(14:40):
seeing that photo of him laying on the ground, head
and hands like he didn't see it coming. Yeah it
So we should find out this morning where he's headed. Obviously,
as soon as we get that news, we will we
will send it you away. Does this mean we're getting
a freak off, No, absltuely not. But we're gonna get
a photo of him, right because it's going to get booked.
(15:01):
Whatever pass right, We're gonna get something it's coming because
he because he was very gray, very gray in the photos. Yes,
could you.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
I think it's crazy that you can pick where you
want to like do your time.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
I think you can help, like maybe suggests, suggests and
I don't know if the if they'll agree, but I
think you can suggest. Hey, we would love you because
also what I've heard rumor wise, there are some federal
prisons that are far worse than others depart on. Yeah,
so some will be like he's just on vacation and
(15:35):
others will not. All right, let's talk about the Patriots.
We're so excited to be able to say that. They
just said, you know what, you're not going to stay undefeated,
beaten up on the Bills. They are now sitting at
three to two for the season. I love this because
going into this game, no one thought they could do it.
Twenty three to twenty was the final. It was a huge,
(15:56):
huge moment for Stephan Diggs coming back face his whole
old team and he was like, I'm gonna let you
all know you never should have traded me ten catches
for one hundred and forty six yards.
Speaker 11 (16:08):
It was lit like, you know, Tom, I'll played here
before I've been on the other side.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
There was this electrophon and I knew that it was
going to be a test for us. It was lit. Yeah,
that's what he said. It was lit. Ten catches one
hundred and forty six yards. He was putting on a
clinic out there. He looked good.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I'm shocked that they won. I was expecting them to
get to joy.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Everybody was. I think we should all, especially me, Like
the team is pretty good. They look pretty good.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Watch did you watch the game? Something I did not
know was gonna say. If you watch the game, like
do you think like they did good? Or do they
get lucky?
Speaker 1 (16:39):
That game was on way too late, Like what are
you crazy?
Speaker 2 (16:41):
Eighteen thirty They won the three and two. That's so
much like better than what we expected.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
From what I've seen this morning and just the clips
that I've seen. Drake May just looked calm, He looked poised.
He looked really good out there. I was exciting here
he has After the game, that's a tough one.
Speaker 12 (16:57):
I took everybody in the locker room and the guys
came out and we battled. He didn't play the best
in the first half. The defense helped us out and
get back offensively and got some things going.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
It was a big one, but even a blind squirrel
squirrel finds a nut. So we'll see. They're back in
action Sunday one o'clock game. Better for you and your
sleep schedule against the Saints. All right. Lastly, Bad Bunny
hosting the season premiere of SNL. In his opening monologue,
he had much to say, even a few jokes. To
Fox News.
Speaker 3 (17:26):
You might not know these, but I'm doing the Super
Bowl half done show, and.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
I'm very happy.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
I'm very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it,
even even Fox News.
Speaker 7 (17:48):
Bad Bunny.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
This is my favorite musician and he should be the president.
I loved his he has some comedic time. He was
really good. Here's another club of his monolog.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
But really, I'm very excited to be doing the Super Bowl,
and I know that people all around the world who
love my music are also happy. Latino, Latina and.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Yaqui.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
And if you didn't understand what I just said, you
have four months to learn.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
I'm gonna have to figure could you help us outside
what he said? That? Do you think I know what
he said? That's as up I want to bet. Now
you guys want to because you don't want to lose, lose,
but I want to lose. I give you more money.
I know what he said. Then you guys have to
make out Spanish divorced like I'm the whole Yeah no
(19:03):
in Spanish, No go ahead.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
He basically said, especially all the Latin people here in
America that I forget what he actually said.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
Okay, so.
Speaker 13 (19:14):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
He's saying, I don't have to make out. Four. Now,
that's three things you need to know for Monday, October six.
If you can't, yeah, seriously, if you can't call us,
you could leave us a talk back. Great. We had
to access the show down the free iHeartRadio app, put
on jam and hit that little red microphone and say
good morning day and the jam.
Speaker 7 (19:32):
In Morning Show with DJ Foreign It saw.
Speaker 14 (19:35):
Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop jamm in ninety
four or five.
Speaker 1 (19:42):
Hi everybody, Sorry, Yeah, I was getting better. I probably
crushed my whole immune system the drinking over the weekends.
I'll be honest with you. I hadn't followed this story
at all, Like I didn't know this until this morning.
Have you guys been seeing the headlines that former NFL
(20:03):
star like Mark Sanchez was stabbed but then arrested, and
it was so confusing. I never like looked into it.
But then I was chatting with you about it this
morning and you were saying it was a DoorDash descriptant.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Say, yeah, apparently he was drunk and ordered food and
then there was some sort of like debacle that happened
and he must have attacked the door dash guy and
the guy pulled out a knife and stabbed them in
the chest. But then Mark got arrested, So it seems.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Like, yeah, Mark gets arrested because he must have been
the one to attack.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
Yeah, he probably got aggressive, it took too long, you
took a wrong turn, you took a fry or something.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Well, dude, that's the thing. It's like. Getting in a
physical fight over the delivery is crazy. We can't be
out here stabbing people. But I'm gonna be honest with you.
They fire me up sometimes they do, Yeah.
Speaker 15 (20:55):
Like.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
I sometimes I get so upset time. So one thing
that's been really driving me crazy as of late is
is like, don't put the options on there if you're
not going to read and follow the options. My first
example of this, if I choose the one that says,
just leave it and go. Heave it and go. It's
(21:20):
mind willing to me, so I choose that option. But
yet the doorbell is still rang and the kids are asleep.
Now the dogs are barking, and it turns into this
whole scene. That part of it I don't understand. And
listen if you're a door deass driver or uber each driver,
I'm not saying I'm specifically talking about you don't to
feel the way. I don't know who this person was,
but I don't get why if it's stated on there
(21:41):
and I have the option to click it, why why
aren't you?
Speaker 7 (21:44):
Why do you?
Speaker 1 (21:44):
What do you want to engage with me?
Speaker 2 (21:46):
Well, to your point, they aren't reading like the directions,
that's basically it. They're just trying to fly through as
many deliveries as possible. My biggest thing is when they're
on the map and you're like watching them and they're
taking the wrong you're going the wrong way, you're going
the like the other way. And then I also hate
that they double dip too. So what they'll do is
they'll have like all of the apps open and they'll
pick up orders like for all of them, right, and
(22:07):
they're trying to mixing match, and it's the most annoying thing.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
I It always gets me when you order and then
all of a sudden, it's it's starting to drive, the
car starting to go, and it pops up and it says,
this driver has a stop along the way.
Speaker 7 (22:23):
Damn.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
On Thursday night, I got food for my son and
he was right down the street and canceled it. Clearly
he got hungry and then was like, you know what,
I'm just gonna eat this. So we had to order
the same thing again, but he was right down the street.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Drives me, just like the stop along the way. It's
not the person's fault, it's not the driver's fault. It
just upsets me. It makes me mad because now I
know that the food's going to be cold, and it's
just it's just it's a house. Don't deliver it, period. Yeah,
that's it. Just and they act like they do. They
put the law.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
They're saying that they delivered it, but they dipped off
with your phone.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
And if you think about it, it's an easy way
to have a meal, right absolutely. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Yeah, we talked about this. I've seen it live action.
Bro Like Wendy started doing this thing where like they
just put it on the rack. I think most restaurants
do that now right, And you could just literally walk
in there in this build rap the food and did
the food didn't come to me? I hit up Wendy's
and Wenday's is like, nah, we just put it out there.
They don't even verify, they just we put it out there.
The person comes picks it.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Up and on the shelf. You could there. Well again,
you could be the random person just walking around. That's
what I'm saying. You can stop into like in Chipotle. Yeah,
you walk in there, there's fifteen bags usually just sitting
there of Uber eats. People were waiting to be picked up.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
One of my favorite like sushi spots in match like
they make you showed on the phone.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
There's some restaurants that are like there's a son, there's a.
Speaker 4 (23:44):
Whole Sonda and says we have to verify who you're
picking up for before we give you your food.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
And the lady.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
Literally holds the back beyond the counter like you about
the robber, and she's like, let me see the phone.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I've seen her do that multiple times. I'm like, that's
the way you should be doing it. I mean if
you're homeless, you could get three meals. They were then,
because then the we who ordered the food and paper
are not going to get it.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
But if they need a meal and they're hungry, just
walking there with the phone and be like yeah picking
up on an order, Oh cool.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
They just want to get the money back from dog Dash,
like their customer service sucks.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
Well.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
Door Dash is quick though, they like refund you fast.
I actually had just a thing the other day with them,
and it was I felt bad to do it because
it was like six dollars, but it was the principle,
like they sent me the whole wrong anyways, They gave
it to me right away. There was no no pushback,
no nothing.
Speaker 9 (24:34):
I know.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
The fireman also has done that with them and he's
gotten his money back, but it still sucks because he
still didn't get your food or whatever it is.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
You know.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Yeah, there's still the letdown of that. I hate when
you have something like in mind to eat or get
and then the whole thing goes. I'm not judging, I'm
not right if you're starting with that. Yeah, people pull
up and I'm like, yeah, they stole my food. Yeah
he did it too, because he does it and he
(25:02):
just takes a bag. I'll go do what I taco bell,
I'm out. Yeah, So if you're somebody who's not getting
your taco bell when you would it, yeah, I just
I guess you're right. I guess it is that they're
probably just not reading the directions. But it just it
like upsets me so much because if we have the
(25:23):
options to put like just leave the food and take
the picture, why are you.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Why not saying this is it's a solution, but it's
definitely a thought. If you can see them on the
map and they approach them, why not just meet them
at the door and just like.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
No, I could, but but then don't give me the
option to just leave it at the front step. And
you know I don't. Don't give me the option because
I went all the way to click that it did.
Luke's gonna come on the show real quick, Luke, I'm
I have the story pulled up because I didn't do
my research on this. I will tell you well, I
(25:55):
was just I was just reading the headlines and Santi said, yeah.
Well Santi said, oh no, no, I know what happened,
and he told me so obviously, I then was under
the impression that Santi had read the stories. But you're
saying the Mark Sanchez thing had absolutely nothing to do
with DoorDash. And here we are just doing a whole
conversation talking about about that.
Speaker 16 (26:15):
I know, I let's know, like oh god, so.
Speaker 1 (26:18):
This says TMC Sports reports that Mark Sanchez was released
from the hospital on Sunday before being sent straight to
jail to be processed over the shocking brawl which he's
accused of starting. They said, there's graphic pictures of the
driver with a huge gash and I guess this. There
was a discrepancy in a parking lot, a dispute with
a driver near like a pub and eatery in downtown Indianapolis.
Speaker 16 (26:41):
Yeah, he was picking up dirty oil like from a
fry lay at a type thing. You know who was
in the in the guy Sanchez he was, I don't know,
he's drunk. And he stopped with the guy about where
he was pocked and and the guy tried to use
Peppa spray on him and then and then that didn't work,
and the guy pulled out his knife and stabbed Sanchez
(27:01):
like three times. And then I guess Sanchez got the
knife and he cut this guy out and and then
Sanchez went up to this bar and the guy at
the box was closing the bar and he sees this guy.
He's all bloody, and he didn't recognize that it was Sanchez,
because who cares at that point. But and so we
went out and helped the guy and he put some
(27:23):
he put some rags on his wounds, and they called
the police, and so I get and then they found
the driver like in an alleyway. He was all cut out.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
The guy's like older sixties, you know what I mean, you.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Know what, I know what I didn't hear and there
door dash, hey, door dash.
Speaker 16 (27:41):
I think he's hungry.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
What No, initially when they said it when it first
came out, and that's what it said, food delivery thing.
So yeah, so going.
Speaker 16 (27:50):
Back to them, yep, well you just trying to find
the video and I was like, oh.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah, no, what we've learned here is a life lesson.
I will never I will read the story myself. So
thank you for that. Thanks for the info. But that
doesn't take away from DoorDash, specially off sometimes really too.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Wait another day, there'll be another story that they do
this and somebody will get stabbed. I was forst seeing
the future. See that's what you guys don't understand, got it. Yeah,
I'm like ahead of the game.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
We have door Dash, Uber Eats. Isn't there one more? Yes,
grub Hub, Grubhub. I haven't. I was gonna, but they
were out in the beginning. They might have been. I
might have been prior. I used to use that one
a lot because it was the only one that had
my driveway on the map. And then I don't know
if you guys do this, but I'll pull up each
app just because some there's different spots on different ones,
(28:40):
Like Yeah, for instance, an ice cream place might be
on door Dash that's not on uber Eat. So I
always before I partake, I look at all of them.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
Yeah, dude, the fees on the on these apps are
absolutely crazy. I know, spending like two hundred dollars. It's
in charge.
Speaker 4 (28:53):
Don't even think about the the up charge, something that
you would pay in store for two dollars, you're paying
like five I know on top of I Now you
talk about what Sancy's talking about, delivery fee, convenience fee,
whatever other fee they got.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
It's crazy. Well that's the word, they're convenience. You have
to add in how much are you willing to pay
to not have to get out my son and his
idiot friends.
Speaker 2 (29:12):
One time they door dashed balloons, just a pack of
balloons to the house so they can play the stupid
game called keep It Uppy.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
And it's it's a game from Bluie. I know that,
releast they keep the balloon up. Yes, oh they did.
Your high school son plays keep me Uppy from him
having a sleepover, and they door dashed balloons for that
stupid game. Yes, I was gonna say that was twenty
bucks probably, Yeah, a pack of balloons.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
But imagine pulling up and being like, oh I have
to pick up balloons harder. No he's fifteen, Yes, yeah,
to cry for help.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
And a cry for well, no, listen, this is of
no shade to the door dash drivers. We need you guys.
It's just like it's the it's the door. You don't
have to.
Speaker 7 (29:56):
Not act show it saunted when you need to know.
Speaker 8 (30:03):
No, we got you three things you need to know
on Boston's number one for hip hop and the best
throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 15 (30:09):
Five.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
All right, here we are Monday, October six, and let's
start with Diddy. We were all waiting, waiting to know
what this sentencing it was going to look like. You know,
they stepped into the courtroom on Friday around nine thirty am,
and we didn't get us sentencing until damn near dinner.
I mean it was like four or five pm where
(30:31):
we finally found out what kind of time Diddy was
going to do. If you haven't heard the news, Sean
Diddy Combes was sentenced to fifty months. Now we know
he had already done. I want to believe twelve months,
twelve to fourteen he had already done. So you add
that in, he's looking at about four years and two
months in federal prison plus a five hundred thousand dollars fine.
(30:56):
That's the maximum allowed for the two counts of transportation
to engage in prostitution. The conviction and the sentence can
and will be appealed. We know that's coming down the line.
But the judge basically said that he felt this was
necessary to send a message of accountability for quote abuse
(31:16):
and that Diddy had harmed women, and he emphasized the
need for a substantial sentence to deter similar crimes and
send a message that victims experiences will be taken seriously.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Now.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
The internet was back and forth on this, especially because
Diddy's gonna serve. He's gonna get credit for the twelve
months he served. He got that five hundred thousand dollars
five But the photo of Diddy, you know, laying down
on the floor, it looked like he was maybe like
hitting his chair or something when he found out he
was sentenced to fifty months. I think I think him
and his team really thought time served was what it
(31:51):
was going to be, it in fact was not. There
was a big divide online and I as we were
coming in here this morning and I was talking to
you about it's on, I was like, I don't want
to play this game of us trying to guess what
it's going to look like for Diddy. I think it's
it's just better that we go to a professional So
Jay Duncan is joining us. She's a defense attorney.
Speaker 9 (32:12):
Jay.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
A lot of back and forth online. Did he was
sentenced to fifty months five zero in a federal prison.
But there is a divide, and I see a lot
of people talking about it online. Some people are like, Hey,
we're going to see Diddy in a halfway house here
in six months. I think it's best to have you
on to kind of help us break down because I
know that if once a case is federal, I thought
(32:35):
there was this notion that they had to serve I
think up to eighty five percent of this sentence. Why
are we now seeing people say, well, no, no, no,
he might just be in a halfway house by middle
of next year.
Speaker 9 (32:47):
Well, I think it's possible that that can happen. But
I also think a lot of people online are confusing
state and federal sentencing. So in a state sentence, likely
what happened, you serve so much less of your actual sentence.
But the SEDS, you nail that on the head. You're
a little bit closer to serving more of your sentence
(33:10):
than less of your sentence. So personally, I'd be surprised
if you were in a halfway house in two or
three months. But I've also heard in the rumor mill
that twenty four months is the new year and a
day in the SEDS, so he might be out faster
than we think.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Interesting, and I know now also the big conversation is
where is he going to go? Can you talk a
little bit about that process? Is that do the judge
and his team kind of work together on that. Do
they have any say? Does it matter if they're like,
we'd rather have him here, or is that essentially the
judge making that decision as well.
Speaker 9 (33:47):
I don't believe the judge has any say in that decision.
I think that is all the classifications matter once the
sentence is laid down. So I could anticipate that at
some point today we'll find out where he is, but
I haven't heard that yet.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
I just saw on Friday that his team told the
judge give us the weekend so that they can kind
of look over where they want. You'll give us some time,
but that is important. We ENSI actually I have.
Speaker 9 (34:21):
I have many many concerns and questions about what came
out of the defense team's mouth on Friday afternoon, But
we could leave it at that, well, I can.
Speaker 1 (34:29):
I can only imagine. Do you think, as a defense
attorney it was a fair sentence?
Speaker 7 (34:35):
I do?
Speaker 15 (34:36):
I do.
Speaker 9 (34:36):
I think I thought the prosecution was overshooting, and I
thought defense counsel was drastically undershooting. And I think the
judge did a pretty good job of landing squarely in
the middle.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yeah, for those of you guys that don't remember prosecution
was pushing for eleven defense attorneys were pushing for time served,
and it was it was somewhere smacked up in the milliment.
It was it was fifteen months, it was around five years.
So listen, we shall see that appeal is coming. We
know it.
Speaker 9 (35:11):
Oh yeah, if for nothing more than the latest ruling
where the judge considered all of the conduct that he
was acquitted of of, we're definitely going to see an appeal.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Yeah, we will. And you know, his Ditty's attorneys were
just like, we don't believe the sentencings match the verdict
that came from the jury, So that's what they're going
to be pushing. Chay, thank you so much for joining us. Listen,
the legalities around, the legal stuff just gets a little
crazy for us sometimes, so I'm happy to have you
on and thank you so much.
Speaker 15 (35:43):
Well Astley.
Speaker 9 (35:44):
It gets a little crazy for us too, but I'm
always happy to help.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
We appreciate it. Like I said, I have to say,
it does sadden me that we couldn't see it live. Yeah,
the characters just don't. They don't do it for me.
And you know, even with the Karen Reid like being
able to watch the reaction when you hear the sentencing.
I would, but but I mean, I think the character
of him laying on the ground crying and holding his
(36:10):
head and hitting it, like.
Speaker 2 (36:14):
When there's video you can almost like you feel the
emotions of it. It's not the same thing a picture.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Don't know if there's any validity to it. But did
you guys see the rumor that Diddy had booked engagements
like that they were already set to go, that he
was booked like that is how much supposedly they thought
he was getting out.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
I saw the other one that he almost got stabbed,
and that the loyals and that he almost got stabbed
by somebody coming into the court.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Again, I don't know how true that was. I was
gonna say, there's just there's tons, tons and tons of rooms.
I thought that, I'll be honest.
Speaker 4 (36:43):
The character of him kind of like on the floor
on the chat, I thought that was a I for
a minute, I was like really, I was like yeah,
I was like someone like this is what happened to him?
But yeah, he must have been distrusted.
Speaker 1 (36:54):
That cartoonist made it a point to let us know
that that man is Greg Gray, like Gray.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
Not seeing that it's not like cause an effect of it,
but like he only got like, you know, a couple
of years right at the end of the day. Yeah,
that reaction, that's the reaction you should do. If you're
getting life right, you shouldn't break down like that.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Life to him.
Speaker 4 (37:15):
If I get pulled over for running a red light
and I go to court and I'm like, I bet
you know, I might win this, and then all of
a sudden, the judge is like, you know what, I'm
gonna teach you a lesson. I'm sending you to jail
for five years.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
You gonna look around like what, Yeah, you might fall
down to your knees too. I know it's prison, but
I'm just saying like, yeah, And now the big question
is where will he end up? Where will he go?
Like I asked Jay, they say, I've never been to
federal prison, that some of them are a cake walk
in comparison to the others. Where will he end up?
(37:48):
And you know what that means? Once he gets booked,
we're getting a photout.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
I can't imagine They're gonna put him in the worst
of the worst. Who makes this decision? The judge, Well,
that's what we were saying, if it's the same judge
making the decision, he's sending him to the trenches. Worst
of the world, right, He's sending him to the churches.
Speaker 1 (38:02):
Bro, all right, let's talk about the Pats. Thank god,
I got good news. The Patriots beating up on the
Bills twenty three to twenty, taking away an undefeated season
for the Bills, handing them their first loss, and just
looking good out there, nice and confident. It was a
big day for Stefan Diggs facing his old team, and man,
he did not disappoint certainly left them on the other
(38:24):
side of that field, being like why did we get
rid of him? Ten catches for one hundred and forty
six yards.
Speaker 11 (38:31):
It was late, Like you know, Tom, Tom, I played
here before. I've been on the other side. There was
this electrophone, and I knew that there was going to
be a test for.
Speaker 1 (38:39):
Us because I care about things like this. I will
tell you not a singular post for her. Man last
night wasn't at the game. Something's up. They're not together, really,
I really think they broke up after this last little
I think I do.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
I think they've been broken up. I think she ran
with the whole thing of saying that that's my man
and that's my man. But I think Lowki that had already.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
She had posted about him a couple of times watching
his games leading up to the story coming out that
he was looking for a paternity test. After that, I
didn't see much that's my man whatever posting. So we'll
see she. I think she's about to drop a big interview.
What's the dude's name, Jay Shetty is? I think that
(39:23):
interview is going to drop today. I would think that
if in fact they're still doing well, he will be mentioned.
That's crazy already they broke up. I just I'm all
I'm saying, is not a single Patriots fan Stefan Diggs
post since the story came out? And I love him?
Speaker 2 (39:43):
Could she be taking a step back and some of
what happened last week and all this stuff step back?
Speaker 1 (39:47):
I don't know. I'm just saying, if that's your man,
and you know how important that game was to him
last night, Like that was a massive game game and
he showed up, showed out, you don't post a single
thing to say look at him something, Hey, she still
has time. But I thought that was really strange. You're
not even posting that you're watching the game. Huh, you're
(40:09):
not fair. You said you were gonna go start going.
We're waiting on til the next one. Maybe. I also
would like to say Drake May looked poised, he looked,
he looked like he belongs out there, and I liked
seeing it.
Speaker 15 (40:24):
That's a tough one.
Speaker 12 (40:25):
I took everybody in the locker room and the guys
came out and we battled and didn't play the best
in the first half.
Speaker 1 (40:30):
The defense help this.
Speaker 12 (40:31):
Out and came back offensively and get something's going.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
I love it. I love to see it. I love
when they win.
Speaker 2 (40:36):
Why is he talking so fast nervous? This is a
different hymn though like last Yay he was more relaxed.
Now he's just like bangle out.
Speaker 1 (40:45):
It's excited. Patrick back in action. Thank god one o'clock
came on Sunday they're playing the Saints. And lastly, real quick,
re Rea out in about spotted for the first time
since giving birth to her third child. I couldn't remember
the baby's name for a second, but it's Rocky Rocky,
so her first time out and what were they celebrating
(41:06):
ASAP's birthday, so it made sense they were. They were
seen in a really large convertible. Hug yeah, hugged up.
I liked the car. I liked Look, she was in
a leather jacket. Well, look at reread just out and
about all right? Not making music. That's not what you're
(41:26):
going to see here. What you're gonna hear me reporting
is she's happy. She's momming. Get yourself some. She did
announce that she's doing a new line of fentee. It
look like body wash and that type of stuff. Now,
so that's what you're gonna get from her good product
though we like it animal testing music, it's not animals.
Are you kidding me? God? You need to know from
(41:49):
Monday October? So you just lost her. You just lost
her a fenty skin purchase right there. That's untrue. I'm true,
all right. It is a two for one special, which
we love Caller twenty five. Not only are you gonna
go see the single Mariah the Scientist at MGM Music Hall,
but you are also gonna get two passes to Spooky
World Presents Nightmare New England, Happy Halloween Love Us six
(42:11):
one seven nine three one one nine four five Caller
twenty five. It is hip hop's most haunted Good Luck,
Dashy and the.
Speaker 7 (42:19):
Jam In Morning Show with d J four and It's.
Speaker 14 (42:21):
Saut Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop jam In
ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
Hi, everybody, good morning. How are we doing? What are
we doing? If you're new to the show, for real?
For real? It is our favorite part because we get
to see what's going on in your life. It's always
us talking, you know, what about each other and what's
going on with us. I drank too much on the weekend,
you know, the usual things. So what's up with you?
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
(42:50):
That is six one seven nine three one one nine
four five. You call us and we talk about anything
you want, whatever is going on in your world. We're
gonna start with Sam in Worcester. Sam, I'm so happy
because I was wondering what was going on with Joe's
Hideaway and you actually have an update for those that
don't know what Joe's Hideaway is. Why don't you explain
(43:14):
it first?
Speaker 15 (43:16):
All right? So Joe's Hideaway is only men's gay campgrounds.
Clothing is optional.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Love it.
Speaker 15 (43:24):
It's just it's just uh, just just to getaway camping. No,
I can't speak campgrounds for just men only have a
good time get away from your day to day life.
Pretty much.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
Yeah, it's it's it's an escape and you can wear
clothes or not, but you just escaped the regular day
to day routine.
Speaker 15 (43:44):
Yeah, pretty much, Sam, What is like.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
You've Ha'm sure you've been and so you have had
made memories there? What is an activity? If you could
explain that, like, what's what? Sometimes? Tell me something you
guys do there at Joe's for fun? I would ask Saunty,
But you know you get.
Speaker 15 (43:59):
Shot, yes, scientist too scared to go. That's what it is.
So one of the activities a couple of activities that
we have every weekend. We always have a barbecue potlucks.
Some of the stuff we would have we would have
jocks and boots, which is you can either walk around
jockstrap bare ass all out, some boots around, conversation with
(44:21):
people who dance parties. Some other times will have drag shows.
Speaker 6 (44:26):
Uh.
Speaker 15 (44:27):
Sometimes we have like drag shows with guys like girls.
And then some other days we'll have like leather people
that enjoy leather.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
So you could be like the pot luck having dinner
next to somebody who's just like as their penis celt
or you could they could be dressed in like leather chaps,
like you know what I mean. It's just whatever whatever
you want.
Speaker 15 (44:53):
Yeah, pretty much. But we try to at dinner time,
we try to keep it like a little bit conservative
for sure. So we trying to like not you know,
you want to get a sausage, but you want to
have a sausage in your mouth, right yeah?
Speaker 1 (45:05):
Yeah, like aggressive do you guys? You guys have respects
and that's and I like that about you guys. Are
So anyways, what's the update, Sam, what's the update on
Joe's Hidaway?
Speaker 15 (45:18):
All right? So the update right now is that one
of the owners recently just passed away last week.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
Wow, I am so sorry.
Speaker 15 (45:29):
Yeah, And you know what, it's very to me personally.
It's very hard for me because I am I'm also
a drag queen. I do. I just done a couple
of shows myself and she is the one that really
truly believed in me and told me I could do it.
And girl, let me tell you something, I did it
and I made my first show. I made one hundred
(45:50):
and fifty bucks. I'm not even gonna lie to you
one hundred and fifty bucks. I mean, my first show,
and this person, she's was just everything.
Speaker 9 (45:57):
You know.
Speaker 1 (45:57):
She she was.
Speaker 15 (45:58):
Loving, she was carrying. She could be a little bitchy
at times, but you know she hadn't days.
Speaker 1 (46:04):
Well everybody all right, but well I'm sorry about that.
So are we going to have like a celebratory Are
we gonna have like a party? What are we thinking
next season?
Speaker 15 (46:19):
For the opening season of May, We're going to have
like a celebration of life for her him as well,
So that'd be something that is going to be exciting.
You know, we're going to celebrate her. He was a
good person and all that fun stuff. The reason I'm
actually really calling is because the name Joe's Hideaway will
(46:40):
be no longer Joe's Hideaway. It would be something else.
They're still working on it. They're still trying to see
what's happened with the name, new branding, new owners. So
once all this stuff comes around, I would definitely give
you guys a call and let you guys know what's happening.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
Well, don't worry about copyright. You could call it Santie's
Away if you want. Yeah, that's why you were calling.
We're good. Yeah, you can happen. You can have it.
Speaker 15 (47:06):
Can we call it Santi Si, Yes we.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Can, Yes, you can. You can have that as well. Yep, yeah,
yeah yeah, but keep it, keep us posing, Sam, We uh,
we were definitely want to know what you end up
calling it? All right, buddy, I'm sorry for your loss.
Thanks for the call, Thank you, but I don't want
to go. I don't want to get deep into this,
but just promise me that when I die, you guys
won't say but she was a bitch at times. That
was what great lady. She'll be missed. She was a
(47:31):
bitch at times. I mean, what for her? They don't
be a bitch, and they would not have said that
about her. I'm actually excited about this next call, mainly
because Sam's always the one calling about jose hideaway. So
to me, Joe's Hideaway is it might not even be real.
Now we're getting the confirmation. Not Sam. I'm not saying
you're making it up. I just no one else ever
(47:52):
called about it. Greg from Boston actually used to work
at Joe's Hideaway soon to be Santi's. I can't say it,
but something Greg confirm that Joe's Hideaway is real for us.
Speaker 5 (48:06):
It's amazing to be honest with that. I worked there
from July until October of twenty twenty three maybe or
twenty twenty two.
Speaker 1 (48:15):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (48:15):
And all I did, realistically was cut wood. And I
cut all the firewood. I cut all the wood that
they sold. I we mowed the lawn. It was just
a great time. That the people that show up every
weekend were seasonal and then they had the you know,
the occasional people that just showed up. But it was
(48:37):
it's a great way to shed all your clothes and
realistically just go in and be yourself when the judgment
and if they judge it, then it's on them, not you.
Speaker 1 (48:46):
Yeah, and you shouldn't come you're going to be that way, Greg.
When you were there, you know, obviously you saw a
lot of people. Did you ever see a bald Dominican
man clothes not clothed. Did you ever do you remember
seeing someone like that?
Speaker 5 (49:01):
I think so.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
I think you so too. All right, Greig, thank you
for that just a quick I think you did. I
say I By the way, I'm I'm doing my best
because it is seven forty in the morning to not
make the jokes. But the man starts out with I
cut wood. Like, there's a lot of hardwood jokes I
could make, but I'm I'm just question was that part
of the act, Like is he cutting wood? Like No,
(49:23):
I think it really was maintaining the property is what
I'm getting there. And then the whole kind of grass.
So yeah, there's a lot. There's a lot we could
go with this, but anyways, let's separate that they confirmed
Joe's Hideaway is real. We'll have a new name where
we're all patiently waiting on the edge of our seats,
and in may I look forward to going. I know

Have a great day. Uh. Vonda is in raynhom Hi. Vonda,
good morning, Hey, good morning, so good. You've been off
for a whole year, but you're back working. What were
you doing for a year, God bless you.
Speaker 15 (54:34):
I was.
Speaker 6 (54:35):
I was living life and now I'm back into this
as they call it, the matrix. And I just want
to say, this is not okay. And I feel so
bad for everybody that does this every single day. You're
getting paid for eight hours, but me driving in two
hours to Boston and two hours back, I'm really giving
them twelve hours if I did.
Speaker 1 (54:53):
Yeah, yeah, it's not okay. I can't even do hasn't
worked in a year. It's not okay. And now she can't
do this. You could, girl, but you would have to
get up a little bit earlier.
Speaker 13 (55:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (55:08):
I just I just want to say, God gave us
this the world with all these free fruits and all
these three things, and humans decided, Hey, let's just make
the world expensive for ourselves so we can suffer for
the rest of our lives.
Speaker 15 (55:19):
This is not okay.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
Hey, this is all I'll say to you. It's day one.
You better get a better ratitude or you're going on
another year off because you're not gonna make it work.
What kind of job do you have? You have at
least a fun job.
Speaker 6 (55:34):
It's pharmacy related. And since I've been off the whole year,
I learned about plant medicine and other ways for people
to heal. So now it's bothering me that I'm back
to giving people tones that don't work.
Speaker 15 (55:44):
They keep you.
Speaker 1 (55:45):
This is getting worse and worse. Yeah, all right, fine,
let's just say this as well. You haven't been in
the car for a year, so you haven't been listening
to to us. Do you at least like that?
Speaker 9 (55:56):
Like?
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Are you?
Speaker 10 (55:58):
I got that back?
Speaker 6 (55:59):
I get to know what's going on in the real world.
Speaker 15 (56:01):
Now, who's going to the radio?
Speaker 1 (56:02):
Well, good, we're here for you. Yeah, I bet, I
bet anybody would, So just listen. It's only Monday, so
hold on strong.
Speaker 6 (56:12):
In the shout out to everyone. If you can work
for yourself, please do stop working for the man.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Okay, okay, okay, knew calling stop working for the man?
All right, Anonymous, Good morning Anonymous. You were hanging out
at Urban Wild for your birthday and this was was
this was born there this past weekend? Was this one
of his events?
Speaker 18 (56:37):
So it was this Saturday was the last minute thing.
We're like, oh, let's just go, We'll just go. We
were maybe there for about an hour.
Speaker 9 (56:44):
We had just ordered food. I heard DJ four.
Speaker 18 (56:47):
And say he was going to be there. I looked
over to my boyfriend and my best friend and I
was like, oh, that's so cool, Like let's eat up
here and then we'll go down there. I like the
music he plays in the morning, and so I was like, Okay, well,
first I'm gonna go the bathroom. I didn't realize they
have these landings with couches. I didn't realize that the
landings are a little bit higher than this step than
the steps. So on the last step, my half of
(57:10):
like a little bit of my foot was on the
landing and my other foot was on the step and
my ankle rolled and.
Speaker 10 (57:15):
That was the end.
Speaker 18 (57:15):
I had to get taken out in the stretcher.
Speaker 1 (57:18):
Did you see it? I didn't see it happened.
Speaker 4 (57:20):
So the only time like this was one of the
red times I go to the bathroom because I'm there
for like three hours, I usually don't go. I happened
to go to the bathroom and I see ambulance lights outside,
and I'm thinking to myself, what could have happened to
somebody who like what happened here?
Speaker 1 (57:34):
And I was like, I didn't think nothing about it.
And I went back to DJ.
Speaker 18 (57:37):
And and now this, yeah, well, and I know the people
that work there, so as soon as it happened, he
ran over to me and he looked and he ran
over it because he knew who exactly what I was with,
and he was like, she needs to go. And they
were like, I think she's okay, and he's like, no,
her ankle taking off her foot?
Speaker 1 (57:56):
What happened? Like, all right, did you break it?
Speaker 15 (57:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 18 (58:00):
So I broke my ankle and I have a whole
bunch of little fractures in between.
Speaker 1 (58:04):
So yeah, that's how that is crazy.
Speaker 10 (58:08):
That's how I went.
Speaker 18 (58:10):
That was like, it's so funny. I was just like
just telling them like, oh, well eat here, go down there,
listen to a little bit of music, then maybe do
some bowling. And then I was like, nope, that was
you know where you're going to the hospital.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
Yeah, that's where you had it. I know what I
didn't do this time around. I didn't do a health check.
Had done. Somebody's out here. I'm not could have hooked
you out.
Speaker 18 (58:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (58:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 18 (58:31):
Security couldn't even help me out.
Speaker 10 (58:34):
He would try so hard.
Speaker 18 (58:35):
When my foot was hanging and everybody was like, can
you try to stand? I'm like I cannot. I feel
my ankle hanging. And then when they took the X
rays and I show I like I showed, just showing
my friends and stuff, They're like, eh, that's disgusting. They
were like, you need to learn how to walk.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
Yeah, that's well, thank you for the call. I can
only picture myself like on a stretcher at a foreign event,
and this is how crazy that is. When he does
the health check, I'm dead. I'm on the stretcher, They're like, ma'am,
you have broken eighty five bones in your body. All
of a sudden, in the background, I hear raise your head.
If you're a join I don't today and I'm on
(59:10):
a stretcher, raising my hands like that's the type of
pressure it feels when the man does the health check. Everybody,
good morning. Mary is checking in from Wooster him Mary,
good morning.
Speaker 10 (59:23):
Good morning guys.
Speaker 1 (59:24):
This is going to be a very relatable call for
a lot of for I know, we'll tellybody what you're doing.
Speaker 10 (59:33):
Right now. I am dropping my three month old to
daycare for the first time, and I don't know how
I feel about that.
Speaker 1 (59:40):
Yeah, I can only there's gonna be tears, Like I
can put myself back in the car for both times.
Coming back to work that first day from maternity leave
and you go through like the range of emotions of
feeling like like you're you feel it like physically in
your body. It's a very weird thing, this range of
emotions of like I'm not supposed to be doing this,
(01:00:02):
but I need to do this. I need to get
back to myself. I have to get back to a
lot of things. But how exciting will it be when
you can do, you know, pick up and you get
to see the babes. It's just that that part of
it is great, but the drop off is.
Speaker 10 (01:00:15):
Yeah, that's part I'm looking forward to. Is just I'm
going back to work today. I have no make up
bond because I already know I'm gonna cry. I just
I don't know thinking about like what he's doing all day,
and I don't know that's gonna freak me out.
Speaker 7 (01:00:26):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
But did you know somebody that also used this daycare?
Obviously we got some good wrecks. You feel comfortable, Oh yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:00:33):
Yeah, it's just it's nervous, nerve wracking.
Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
Yeah, three months is it's that's a baby. That's a
little little baby. I know what's the baby's name, Legend, Legend. Well,
make sure you give a legend an extra hug and
a big kiss. You're gonna be okay, mom. You know
what I It took me, I would say, a solid
like two weeks to get into this new groove of like, okay,
(01:00:58):
my life doesn't look like like poop pea, diapers, feeding,
I'm brushing my teeth at four pm because we don't matter.
Speaker 9 (01:01:06):
You start to.
Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Get back to yourself a little bit. What do they
say you get your pink back a little bit? You
know that that's saying.
Speaker 10 (01:01:12):
Yep, actually you did my hair? You know?
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
Actually yes, yes, exactly something for yourself if you if
it gets bad, you call me back. Shed the tears.
It's going to happen. You'll probably cry even after you leave,
but it's gonna be okay. You'll get used to it
and you'll get you'll get in new routine surfing.
Speaker 10 (01:01:29):
I thank you, all.
Speaker 1 (01:01:30):
Right, babe. It's it's hard every time, every time that's
that first day back. And even if you love your
job and you you are happy where you're at in
life and all the things, it's just like you don't
feel like you're supposed to be doing that. And as
a male, I can never understand that connection of having
a child grown side brushing, so I can't imagine what that. Yeah,
and I know we've we've gotten that call, not from Mary,
(01:01:52):
but from so many moms who are you know, going
through as somebody else is in the car right now
doing the same thing, just boohooing. Yeah. Yeah, it's not easy.
Speaker 6 (01:01:59):
All right.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
