Speaker 1 (00:01):
Ashley and the jam In Morning Show with DJ Foreign
It's Santi When.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
You need to know, No, we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags you haven't any more.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
Five.
Speaker 4 (00:15):
All right, here we are Monday, October sixth, and let's
start with Diddy. We were all waiting waiting to know
what this sentencing was going to look like. You know,
they stepped into the courtroom on Friday around nine thirty am,
and we didn't get us sentencing until damn near dinner.
I mean it was like four or five pm where
(00:35):
we finally found out what kind of time Diddy was
going to do.
Speaker 5 (00:41):
If you haven't heard.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
The news, Sean Diddy Combes was sentenced to fifty months.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Now we know he had already done.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
I want to believe twelve months, twelve to fourteen he
had already done. So you add that in, he's looking
at about four years and two months in federal prison
plus a five hundred thousand dollars fine. That's the maximum
allowed for the two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The conviction and the sentence can and will be appealed.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
We know that's coming down the line.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
But the judge basically said that he felt this was
necessary to send a message of accountability for quote abuse
and that Diddy had harmed women, and he emphasized the
need for a substantial sentence to deter similar crimes and
send a message that victims experiences will be taken seriously. Now,
(01:34):
the internet was back and forth on this, especially because
Diddy's gonna serve. He's gonna get credit for the twelve
months he served. He got that five hundred thousand dollars
five But the photo of Diddy, you know, laying down
on the floor, it looked like he was maybe like
hitting his chair or something when he found out he
was sentenced to fifty months. I think I think him
and his team really thought time served was what it
(01:54):
was going to be.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
It in fact was not.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
There was a big divide online, and as we were
coming in here this morning and I was talking to
you about it's on, I was like, I don't want
to play this game of us trying to guess what
it's going to look like for Diddy. I think it's
just better that we go to a professional So Jay
Duncan is joining us. She's a defense attorney Jay a
lot of back and forth online. Did he was sentenced
to fifty months five zero in a federal prison? But
(02:24):
there is a divide, and I see a lot of
people talking about it online. Some people are like, Hey,
we're going to see Diddy in a halfway house here
in six months. I think it's best to have you
on to kind of help us break down because I
know that if once a case is federal, I thought
there was this notion that they had to serve I
think up to eighty five percent of this sentence. Why
(02:44):
are we now seeing people say, well, no, no, no,
he might just be in a halfway house by middle
of next year.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Well, I think it's possible that that can happen. But
I also think a lot of people online are confusing
state and federal sentencing. So in a state sentence, that
likely would happen, you serve so much less of your
actual sentence. But the SEDS, you nail that on the head,
you're a little bit closer to serving more of your
(03:13):
sentence than less of your sentence. So personally, i'd be
surprised if you were in a halfway house in two
or three months. But I've also heard in the rumor
mill that twenty four months is the new year and
a day in the seds, so he might be out
faster than we think.
Speaker 4 (03:30):
Interesting and I know now also the big conversation is
where is he going to go?
Speaker 5 (03:35):
Can you talk a little bit about that process?
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Is that?
Speaker 4 (03:38):
Do the judge and his team kind of work together
on that? Do they have any say? Does it matter
if they're like, we'd rather have him here, or is
that essentially the judge making that decision as well?
Speaker 3 (03:51):
I don't believe the judge has any say in that decision.
I think that is all the classifications matter once the
sentence is laid down. So I could anticipate that at
some point today we'll find out where he is. But
I haven't heard that yet.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
I just saw on Friday that his team told the
judge give us the weekend so that they can kind
of look over where they want.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
You'll give us some time, but that is important. Ends are.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Actually I have I have many many concerns and questions
about what came out of the defense team's mouth on
Friday afternoon, but we can leave it at that.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Well, I can only imagine do you think as a
defense attorney it was a fair sentence.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I do, I do. I think I thought the prosecution
was overshooting, and I thought defense counsel was drastically undershooting,
and I think the judge did a pretty good job
of landing squarely in the middle.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
For those of you guys that don't remember, prosecution was
pushing for eleven defense attorneys were pushing for time served,
and it was it was somewhere smacked up in the
milliment was it was fifty months, it was around five years.
Speaker 5 (05:09):
So listen, we shall see that appeal is coming, we
know it.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Oh yeah, if for nothing more than the latest ruling
where the judge considered all of the conduct that he
was acquitted of of, we're definitely going to see an appeal.
Speaker 5 (05:27):
Yeah, we will.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
And you know, his Ditty's attorneys were just like, we
don't believe the sentencings match the verdict that came from
the jury, So that's what they're going to be pushing. Jay,
Thank you so much for joining us. Listen, the legalities around,
the legal stuff just gets a little crazy for us sometimes,
so I'm happy to have you on and thank you
so much.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Well, Ashley, it gets a little crazy for us too,
But I'm always happy to help.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I didn't want to get into it with Jay, but
also the characters, I can't stop, I can't stop. We
knew that something like this obviously age Diddy, but whoever
was drawing those cartoons of him laying down, crying, head
in hands all the things, was like, I will make
sure that people know that this man has gray hair.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
We get it now, we get it.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
It's still hard to imagine because I feel like we
have to see it to have it put into perspective.
But his hair is gray. He always in the dark.
Speaker 4 (06:18):
He's gonna get booked, whether it's today or tomorrow in
a federal prison.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
We're getting a photo.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Yeah, years old, I know, and he's going through a
lot of stress. I'm not talking about this just as
a business mogul, like you go through a lot.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
And remember when they did the raid on his home,
they found boxes on boxes on boxes of roguain, so
he you know, he June COVID.
Speaker 6 (06:40):
It was a time that he went on live and
he was he was kind of like as white as
you see him now, Like the hair was like super
super white.
Speaker 5 (06:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Diddy's lawyers very very obviously disappointed in this. Remember prosecution
looking for eleven. They were trying to push for time serve.
Here they are after the sentencing came down.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
We are planning to appeal.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
We think we have strong bases to appeal. The strongest
bas is that the jury reached a verdict on coercion.
It found there was not coercion, and I think the
judge said coercion today as a basis for a sentence
at least a dozen times. We think that that is unconstitutional.
(07:22):
We think that a jury verdict should mean more than
our jury's verdict seems to mean, and so we are
planning to appeal. What we feel happened today was that
the judge acted as a thirteenth jur one that we
did not choose, and that he second guess the jury's verdict.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
I like that word. The choice of word right there.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
The judge was acting like a thirteenth thirteenth jur It
doesn't really matter at this point. They will appeal. But
did he's going away? Did he didn't walk? And I
think a lot of people thought he would and he
did not. So we'll be waiting to see what prison
did he is heading to. I bet you everybody's in prison.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Is waiting to see too for the freak off?
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Right, all right, the Patriots gave us some great news
this morning.
Speaker 5 (08:04):
Wow, did Stefan Diggs put on a show.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Beating the unbeaten Bills twenty three to twenty, handing them
their first l of the season.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
And you'll love to see it.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
The Patriots are sitting at three and two, but they
were looking goods last night, and Stefan Diggs said, I
know y'all are gonna regret trading me ten catches for
one hundred.
Speaker 5 (08:24):
And forty six yards. He was doing the thing last night.
Was this one personal for you?
Speaker 1 (08:29):
One hundred percent? Obviously? I love those guys, still got
a good relationship with those guys. Got a lot of
respect for him. But I love a game of football
more and every time I go, I'm trying to prove it,
not only to them but to myself.
Speaker 5 (08:39):
So absolutely it was personal.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
You're playing the team that traded you, you have to
show up and he did.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
Dare I say the Patriots might make the playoffs like
it's looking like it's going to be.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Gotta keep this momentum going, Yeah, you gotta keep it going.
They're back in action Sunday at one o'clock against the Saints.
Bad Buddy was on Saturday Night Live for the big premiere, and.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
I gotta say the guy's got comedic timing. I like it.
Speaker 8 (09:06):
But really, I'm very excited to be doing the Super Bowl,
and I know that people all around the world who
love my music are also happy to Latino La Latina
and Mundo yaqui. And if you didn't understand.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
What I just said, I you have four months to learn.
Speaker 5 (09:37):
I got four months to learn South. He's gonna help
us out. What did he say?
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Something especially all the Latin people here around the world
and in the US.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Oh okay, all right, if you start coaching us up,
if we could get somebody I want to start coaching
us up, We're gonna be ready to go. He even
had a little dig to Fox.
Speaker 5 (09:52):
News, which was hilarious.
Speaker 8 (09:54):
You might not know these, but I'm doing the Super
Bowl half done show.
Speaker 9 (10:04):
And I'm very happy.
Speaker 8 (10:07):
I'm very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it,
even even Fox News.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Bad Bunnet, this is my favorite musician and he should
be the next president.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
Yeah, he was good. He was really good.
Speaker 4 (10:25):

Speaker 9 (11:09):

can't say it.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Bro, that's a Spanish name.
Speaker 9 (11:14):
It is what GLORI Mar Glory mot Glory.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Never heard that name, but I don't know well better
the you may mess My mouse was fro screw for
the next one. Yeah, Yeah, it's gonna just be ola
for us because sweet don't anything. All right, So the
check in was crazy and we got a lot of
talkbacks that I wasn't able to get to. So let's
(11:39):
run through a couple of these. A lot of calls
about Joe's Hideaway, which.
Speaker 5 (11:43):
Is an all male camp, yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Where clothes are optional. We learned that they do potluck dinners,
they have drag shows, all of the things. Obviously, it's
a big question mark aarone here. Has Santi been or
has he not? So we got this talk back in
response to that.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I just have a question for Santi. Santi, does your
wife know that you're bisexual? And if she does.
Speaker 9 (12:07):
What does she think about it?
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Is she accepting?
Speaker 5 (12:10):
That's it? That is a really good question. Does do
I know you're bisexual?
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Is that question serious or is it a joke?
Speaker 5 (12:16):
I'm taking it serious.
Speaker 9 (12:17):
She sounded serious.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Okay, this serious answer to that is like, I'm not bisexual.
That's a serious ignswer. But the joke part of it
is like, yeah, I'm bisexual. When she's fine with it,
here you go.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
I honestly do get asked often about this. Is it listen?
Speaker 4 (12:34):
It's It's something that I've obviously ran with because some
of the things that come out of his mouth lead
me to believe there there is a chance.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
But no, yeah, definitely not.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
But you would maybe go to Joe's Hideaway for a
pot look with Brad.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Pitt definitely go.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
Yeah, Santi has a tie.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
Looking just gets warm. That's true.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
Like I will never forget when we were in the
presence of Enrique and Glaciers, like he was acting like
he almost fainted.
Speaker 5 (13:08):
He couldn't believe the aura.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
No, but you have to admit even straight men there
were like, wow, that is a good looking guy. The
other part about him, I wasn't expecting him to be
that tall, so he was imposing, and he was giving
me tequila, so he was seducing me too. So all
these things were working.
Speaker 5 (13:24):
See, this is what I'm saying. The man he has
a type, all right.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
We also got this talk back in reference to the
live show. We're having a live show in Salem that's
coming up on the twenty fourth.
Speaker 10 (13:36):
Hey, jam in ninety four or five, I wanted to
know how do we get picked for your live show
October twenty fourth for Halloween. This is like my second
talk back and I haven't heard anything, So what do
we have to do?
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Let us know? Thanks Jammin. Okay, first off, guys, let
me give you the details.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
We're doing a live show show six to ten at
Rockefeller's in Salem on October twenty fourth, This is open
to the public as well, so anybody can come. Now,
we are gonna have a little VIP area that we
talked about, and I don't know the amount of people
that can get into that, but we're starting to create
a list here.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
I've been getting dms from people.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Some of you guys are literally taking off of work
just to come to the live show, which is I
was afraid zero point and zero people we're gonna come
to this thing, and everybody in the building has been
telling me to relax. I want to cancel it because
I'm so afraid, but everyone's just like, listen, relax, people
are gonna show up. I guaranteed we got like twenty
because I've gotten at least twenty dms from people saying
they're coming.
Speaker 5 (14:41):
So the first answer to that is anybody can come.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Booze won't be served until eight o'clock, so you can
wait and have them a mosta. Then I don't expect
everybody to get there at six. That's totally fine, that's
super early, but we're gonna be working. We're gonna be
doing the show live. Think about if you've got to
see your favorite podcasters, it's the same type of setup
we'll be there with Mike's.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Doing the show. You can hang out, uh.
Speaker 4 (15:02):
And then when it's over you can explore Salem, which
there's no better place in the world to celebrate Halloween,
but in Salem a Friday leading up to Halloween, it's
just gonna be The vibes are going to be.
Speaker 5 (15:15):
Super high and super spooky.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Also, as a show, we haven't even talked about this.
Are we dressing up?
Speaker 4 (15:21):
We must It would be disc definitely, a hundred percent.
It would be disrespectful if we did it. For at
least give me like a T shirt.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
Give me something i've been looking. I've been looking like
your vibe.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Would be maybe just like a scream mask hat or something,
you know, like a baseball hat that has a little
horror to something. You got to give me something I
need to touch. But yes, open to the public, so
really anybody can come. The restaurant's huge. By the way,
shout out to Rockefellers. It is beyond This one of
my favorite spots for Halloween because it's right across from
the Bewitch Statue is the top of Essex Street. It's
(15:56):
the place to be because you can literally see everything
saying the foot traffic in Salem on a Friday is
going to be crazy.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
So my suggestion is make a day of it.
Speaker 4 (16:07):
If you can only come to say like the last
hour of the show, come hang out, we'll have Mimosa
or two and then have just an amazing day in Salem.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
I'm so worried about it.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, do you know what's crazy? Saturday night? I got
two phone calls middle of the night from people I
went to high school with saying that they're coming to
list year. They were drunk, but they said they were coming.
I'm like, was this a topic of conversation on Saturday
night between you guys? But they said they're pulling up.
Speaker 9 (16:28):
Ill up?
Speaker 4 (16:29):
No, please, everybody pull up. I I want to meet everybody.
I'm excited about meeting everybody.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
It's just week confirm Sorry, we're going back to it.
Breakfast is free, right yeah? Oh yes, for everybody. For
everybody else say.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
That that's a crazy thing for you to say. I
do not think it is free for but I think
it's free for the people in the VIP section, which
we don't. We still have an iron dot because I
think what we're going to do is do give ways
to the VIP section within the next two weeks.
Speaker 1 (16:54):
He free for everybody.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Okay, if you need details, you can DM me at
Ashley Feldman to ease on the Ashley. The best gift
you could give me is for us to just pack
this thing like crazy. Celebrate our first ever live show
in Salem on the twenty fourth of Happy Spooky Seasons
(17:19):
and The.
Speaker 9 (17:19):
Jam In Morning Show with DJ four and It's Sautic Morning, Bustin's.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
Number one for hip hop jam In ninety four or five.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Hi babes, good morning.
Speaker 4 (17:32):
I don't say this often, but I started a show
last night.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
I don't know if I want to finish it.
Speaker 4 (17:43):
Really put it this way Monster the ed Gean story
makes Jeffrey Dahmer look light.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Oh.
Speaker 9 (17:50):
I started this. I thought it was conning.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
Okay, fine, I could see that, But the things that
he did were you not like, yo, this is next
level type stuff.
Speaker 6 (18:00):
Couldn't get past the first few scenes. I was like,
this is because I saw that the way they played it,
it's like, yo, the pro the producers of Jeffrey. I
was like, oh word, I'm watching. I started watching. I'm
like corny, like what like, yeah, it was weird. It
was goofy like it was.
Speaker 5 (18:15):
I don't know, like he's I think he.
Speaker 9 (18:18):
Is that kind of that was the character him.
Speaker 4 (18:21):
Yes, I think he was really trying to play him
the way he was. The guy that stars in it
is the dude from Sons of Anarchy. Yes, Charlie Hannah.
So he's so hot in this. The amount of they
had to do, like hours and hours of makeup, he's unrecognizable.
But the way he's acting clearly is must be how
(18:42):
Ed acted and it's.
Speaker 9 (18:43):
Like he sucks like this his goofy to me.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
Yeah it was, it is. It's all true. The same
producers from the other show. Yeah, show is amazing, but
Ed Ed's worse than Jeff.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
Like Eds.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
I when I had read like the background it said
that he was a body snatcher, and I was like,
what does that mean, Like cause he's just snatching bodies
off the No, when you're a body snatcher, you're digging
bodies up from the grave and doing things with the
bodies like this.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
I'm telling you, this man.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
Was sick, like he was doing sexual stuff with the moment.
Speaker 5 (19:18):
Most serial killers are like sexual devians. This guy was.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
It was obsessed with Mommy, like next level obsessed with mommy. Well,
I don't know how far in you got for and so,
but like obsessed with mommy, Like mommy was.
Speaker 9 (19:37):
Like cuddled moms.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
Maybe yeah, that was after she had a stroke and
he was like cuddling with her and then he was
bathing her. But he had this obsessed sexual obsession with
like wearing women's clothing and then and they show it,
so he would put on his mom's bra and nundies
and like, guys, this man is sick.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Second, are you gonna keep watching it? Like he's it
good enough to keep watching?
Speaker 5 (20:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
It was really just a lot the two episodes I watched,
I was like, this is crazy, like because it's it's
a true story about his life, sickening stuff, and it's
just this little town called like Plainfield, Wisconsin where nothing happens,
just eat cheese.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
It was crazy. He's nuts nuts. They based the film's.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Psycho and Silence of the Lambs off this guy, and
you'll see why.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
You'll see why I didn't.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
It was a lot like I wanted to watch this,
and now with both of you guys' reviews, I'm like,
I don't know. And then the other part about this,
my wife doesn't like stuff like this and we just
like watching stuff together.
Speaker 5 (20:44):
Yeah, so more so would you think the acting was bad?
Speaker 3 (20:47):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (20:47):
I just thought it was goofy, you know, not that
the more I think about maybe I watched the trailer,
and the trailers what turned me off because I was like,
what is like it looked corny? Like I'm as soon
as they put on the first show because they tied
it in, right, They're showing me these are the same produce.
Speaker 9 (21:01):
I'm like, I'm in.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because you're right. If you see something
or like I love it, you watch him.
Speaker 6 (21:05):
I'm here for it and all. And then all of
a sudden, the goofing is the way he it almost
seemed like comical. I'm like, is this a true story?
Is this like some kind of weird ass parody?
Speaker 4 (21:15):
It is? I think that they're really trying to portray
like how he was and it's like, I'm not kidding you.
Speaker 5 (21:21):
He's he talks like this to.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Mommy.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
I'm sorry, do you want me to go get the Bible?
To reach the Bible?
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Like that's like legit how he talks had a stroke
and then mommy had a stroke because something happened to
his brother, and then that sent mom over and then
mom ends up having a heart attack, and he couldn't
bear living without mommy, so he dug up.
Speaker 5 (21:44):
He went to dig her up, couldn't get her, so
he grabbed another.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
This is crazy, crazy think that this is a true story.
That's what's wild. The people out there like did this.
