Speaker 1 (00:00):
Dashi and the jam In Morning Show with DJ four
and it's sa a t Good morning, Bustin's number one
for hip hop jam In ninety four five.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hi everybody, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
If you're just tuning in, I am sure you are
expecting to hear Nick Rocco. Unfortunately, Nick just canceled on us.
He's not feeling well. So I hope Nick gets better.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
In the meantime, we're just kind of pivoting and we're
gonna do the check in here. Talk about you, your life,
your world. Call me six one seven nine three one
one nine four five. Can you tell me a story?
Just say good morning, ask for advice, anything you want.
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
It's funny because I think we get so much. People

(00:44):
just hate when we go on vacation. They get they
get upset and they're like, we.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Know you're not in there or whatever.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
And it's I mean, obviously we all have vacation day, yes,
but for the most part, and I think today is
a really good example, we're here ninety nine percent of
the time, like we have our VAK day, but if
you spread them out through the year, we're we're always
here and this is a good example. We talked to
Nick last night and firm, who's gonna be able coming on?
You know, we can't help that he's sick.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Yeah, I mean, and also too, I understand that people
get mad when we're off, but at the same time,
I'd rather have it like that because I've been a
part of shows where people are happy when we're off
and the ratings actually go through the roof when the
morning shows off. Yeah, which is not a good situation.
So the fact that you guys get upset, thank you well.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Foreren answers the phones, I'm going to tell you guys
that remember I had discussed that the big Marshfield Saint
Patrick's Day Irish Riviera thing as tomorrow, And I mean
the way people are talking about this block party is
that it's next level crazy, I mean Southie type. So
there's a five k attached to it had zero points, zero,

(01:46):
zero plans to ever run the five k, Like, I
don't run like that anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
I lift weights. My friend Casey really wanted to really
wanted to run.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
And I could just tell that she really was feeling like, Hey,
we're going to be boozing all day, let's run, So
we'll feel better about ourselves while we're drinking all this
jamison and whatever we have.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
So now.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I'm running this five k tomorrow morning, and I'm upset,
like even thinking about it, so making me upset?

Speaker 4 (02:16):
What are you thinking?

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Like pacing wise? Because that's an important thing we think
like ten Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Two minutes a minimum.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Yeah, that's a nice go of it.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
That's fifteen minutes because I'm not I have I hope
to finish.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Within the hour.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Because you know, if your friend Casey has been running,
she's probably gonna like take off from the beginning.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
She runs marathons, and I'm going to tell her that,
go run the marathon. Get out of here.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
You don't have to stay with me because I'm I'm
I'm it's not going to embarrass me to have to
walk a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I don't care. I don't again, I don't run like that.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Why not just run it with one of the kids,
like in the stroller, which I know people do too, No,
like people do it at these five ks?

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yah they do. Yeah, that's a lot.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, it's not harder.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
It is, yes, but then it's an experience and then
you can run and then you can walk.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You want me to make it harder for I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Wait, but you're thinking like this five case like a
serious face. Yes, it is for a certain amount of people.
I understand that, But for the back end.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Of it, yeah, I'm nobody. I like I said, I'm
going to run for as long as I can. If
I got a walk, I gotta walk. I'll probably get
a side stitch.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
What do you wear? I remember? But remember she's also
very competitive Ashley. Yeah, she's gonna start off like that.
Ten she's gonna be gassing it by like the end
a break.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I actually don't know what to wear because it's gonna
be fifty five and cloudy. It's only three miles, it's
not actually I'm running twenty four fifty five.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Yeah, fifty five cloudy.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
I have to bring my phone with me, and I
also have to bring my license and car because we're
going right to the bar after.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
But I'm also debating maybe taking a shot or two before.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
No, you don't want to do that because it might
hit you on both ends of the things, and you
don't want that to happen.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Three miles, I'm gonna poop myself.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Go ahead, do it. Then you've said that you don't
know how.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
You have anyways? What should I wear? Fifty five?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Asking it?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Because if it's a Saint Patrick's Day theme and I
assume a lot of people gonnadjust.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
Oh yeah, I'm.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Definitely gonna I have some Saint Patrick d bows that
I bought.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
I'm gonna dress.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
But if you're fifty five, I could I mean, you
could wear like a tank top because like that's perfect weather.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
Fun.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, oh, I was gonna wear leggings in a sweatshirt.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I wouldn't wear that sweatshirt.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
That so I should wear a T shirt.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Yeah, at the very least, like fifty five is coming,
you're gonna warm up quick. Yeah, I don't know what
marks at the bar school. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Oh so that's another thing.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
You know. Me, We're going right out after and I
want to look cute, so I'm I'm gonna pack a
bag for the fireman to meet me with so that
way I can freshen.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
Ups thro my makeup.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Yeah, pretty much.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
I'm so mad that I'm doing I'm probably gonna self
tan tonight for it.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
It's just like upsetting.

Speaker 3 (04:45):

they had like a DJ mixing and uh, you know,
the drinks were mixing and we were mixing.

It's a marsh Fields five k. We love doing that
event a year. It is so much fun and it
goes to the Marshfield Education Foundation and it gives lots
and lots of money back to the school and the future,
so we really appreciate the support. But on Sunday at
the East Bay Grill downtown Plymouth, they have a really
big Save Patrick's Day celebration, arguably one of our biggest

(07:21):
days of the year. We will have bands, we have
bagtypes coming in. There's a big tent felt back that's
like a heated ti. They have beer trucks. It's a
vent not to miss and also there's dinner as well
if you want to do your corn deeple cabbage.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Is it a kid friendly type of sen.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
There are children there lots of children today.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
By the way, I don't want kids to be there,
so it's fine. That's why I was asking my children.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Multiple people.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
For sure, it's definitely a lot of drinking. There are
some kids running around, but it would probably be more
with just you inspirement.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
That's what I want to hear.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
BECA.

Speaker 3 (08:03):

everybody after?

My daughter's going to be running. She's here, her name
is Lily, she's Marshfield student. And then I will be
walking for sure.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Maybe walking my dog along, probably me too. Not everybody
takes it.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Not everyone takes it real serious, right, It's kind of
like a just like a light jog.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
Yes, for sure, it's a really big event. Lots of
green where whatever you want, that's green, Okay, Saturday and
Sunday for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Okay, and then after the race when everybody parties down
in brent Rock. There are there also like bagpipe situations
and everyone's outside drinking, right, because that's why I'm doing it,
I believe. So.

Speaker 6 (08:52):
I'm not sure about the bagpipes, but there's definitely tons
of music, tons of drinking, and tons of people.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Tons of drinking, tons of music and tons of people.
You know what sounds up my alley beca thank you
so much for the call.

really want to sweat.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
My friend Casey that I'm running, it was like we
could do it in thirty minutes.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
I think I can. You definitely can't. I have division
one come about that I don't run it.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
