Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, well, well, happy Friday, everybody.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
We made it.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
My weekend plans changed drastically Yesterday. Today was going to
be we got errands to run, which we do. We
have a lot of last minute things to do, gearing
up for the big fourth birthday bash tomorrow at the
wolves Den, So I had things that I needed to
get done today. Yesterday, we're here, we run into Ernie Bach.
(00:31):
We start chit chatting about you and him are just
showing your role excess to each other. Having a whole conversation. Anyways,
he mentions that he's having a holiday party tonight. Extend
the invitation to us. You can't make it. I called
the fireman. I was like, listen, there's this thing I
think we need to go. I'm going to the party tonight.
(00:56):
To the party tonight. I can't say who else I've
heard is going, but just know there are rumors swirling
that there's gonna be some VIPs.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
At the Yeah, there's never been a time where I've
been to his house and it hasn't been fun. That
it doesn't pay off it like always.
Speaker 1 (01:11):
And he just knows how to throw an extravaganza.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
Yeah, I think I can say this.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Who's performing I think so. Yeah, so everybody knows Kevin Bacon,
the actor Footloose. No, no, mister patriot, give me Patriot
Patriots Day, Patriots Day. Yeah, yeah, he wasn't with Mel Gibson.
(01:39):
He's I mean, he's just an og actor. He's in
a band with his brother.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Yes, the Bacon Brothers.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
The Bacon Bros. They're performing at the party. At the party.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
That's another thing that he does. He always brings in
these acts to perform and it's usually like some high
level stuff and it's always always good. I have been
to a few of his parties where like things start
going crazy. He has he has this indoor pool and
now one of the parties, all of a sudden, people
started jumping in the pool and there were a bunch
of people that were in the news, like the news
cast casters in the pool and females like in these
(02:11):
dresses and skirts. I'm like, oh my god, Like this
is crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:14):
I cannot wait to see who's there.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
Yeah, like you mean people from around Boston.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Just yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
Yeah, it's always that too.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
That's what I mean, it's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah. There were times in the past where I had
another friend that's friends with him, and then we would
always like find a little all this sounds bad, no,
we we we we would just like hit the you know,
yeah that.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
I imagine myself having some expensive champagne tonight.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
I think that will happen.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Probably you're gonna ask somebody his car collection.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Too expensive champagne and you know the farm.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
I was like, I wonder what the food will be,
and I was like, it's giving beef Wellington vibes.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (02:55):
You know.
Speaker 3 (02:57):
He has a car collection in his house that's amazing.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
And he has a mazo le.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
He has a masoleum, yes, that he's paid for for
the next like one hundred years, which is crazy. That
is nuts, It really is. So if this house is
gone and they sell the home, that's like it's with
the state that you can't take that part out.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
And he plans on hopping in with his parents in there.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
He'll take you inside. It's really like.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, but yeah, I highly doubt I get any one
on one with him at this party.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
I think you will. He's always walking around. Yeah, at
his summer parties. He would always walk around like barefoot,
which I always thought was weird.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
His house.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
I understand that, but it's a party. But yeah, barefoot,
he's just hanging out.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
I was in straight panic mode when I decided that.
I was going about, what can you what would put
me for sure?
Speaker 3 (03:48):
No nails, out fit?
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Oh fit okay, sorry, yeah all of those things will
less makes sense, But you can't like all of a sudden,
I'm going to this massive holiday party with all these crazy,
like important people, and I would have planned my outfit
six months ago, you know. So I tried to put
something together quick last night. I'm stressed out. I'm putting
the fireman in a suit, really yeah, because I asked
(04:12):
his assistant, you know, I said, is this like you
guys could wear jeans and like dress them up, And
she's like, it's not black tie, but it's kind of
a step underneath.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
And she goes Ernie said dress what makes you feel comfortable?
Speaker 1 (04:23):
And so the farman was like, oh, Ernie said I
could wear jeans. I said, no, that's not what we're
doing here. So yeah, I'm putting no tie, but like
a looking more casual look. But I mean it's a
holiday party.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Really yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I do the drinking.
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Yeah, let's talk about the drinking.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
I'm really I'm planning on reading it in because you
be serious, all right, I'm thinking about just because and
I think you'll believe me on this. I have Layla's
birthday party the next day, so I can't really afford to.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Be high over it. I want to believe. But in
the moment the ad then like the celebrities are there.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
There, Yeah, I know that's a possible.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
It's a possibility. And next thing you know, you're just
slugging them back. You know, yeah, you're in the pool.
Dress off everything.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Okay, I'm wearing seat through Sparklevan, Oh with a blazer.
First leaves listen, I was digging in the depths of
my closet.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
We got something holiday happening especial.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Morning show When you need to know, we got you
three things you need to know on Bustin's Number one
for hip hop and the best throwbacks you haven't any more.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Five.
Speaker 6 (05:35):
Have you made a decision about whether you wish to
testify at this trial?
Speaker 4 (05:39):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I have, And what is your decision?
Speaker 3 (05:43):
I will not testify.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
Friday, December twelfth, And that was the guy Brian Walsh
saying I am not going to testify. I'm not getting
on the stand. But we also found out yesterday. The
defense didn't have any plans. I'm putting any witnesses on
the stand. The Brian wash Walsh trial has essential wrapped
after just eleven days. Prosecution is rested and defense rested
in ten seconds.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
It was co quick. So what are we gearing up for?
What's next? Today?
Speaker 1 (06:12):
Are gonna be closing arguments? Each side will get forty
five minutes. We've been here before, we know how this goes.
After jurors get their instructions from the judge boom, forty
five minutes each side, and then the jury has a case.
Speaker 3 (06:27):
I just don't see him walking right. It seems so obvious.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Well, I told you this this morning. We found out
this little fact. The jury, you guys, does not know
that he is admitted to both lying and invading the
police and moving the body.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
They don't know that. Now, if you take that out
of it, is it enough?
Speaker 1 (06:46):
I mean, for me, it's the Google searches and then
it's the supplies like that.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
But is that enough beyond a reasonable doubt?
Speaker 3 (06:57):
I think there's no question that he did the ever
thing too. It's like the defense is gonna say there's
no body, so there's no case. Here, which I understand,
but yeah, the jury is not that stupid, and all
the other soft points that he is a killer.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Because if the jury.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Essentially doesn't know that he moved the body, and the
defense is saying that he was washing the dishes and
then she was dead in the bed, where'd you go? Yes,
I mean, doesn't take a brain sign to where you go?
Speaker 3 (07:24):
And then what's up with the hacksaw? Like all blood?
Speaker 1 (07:27):
What's up with all the police? What's up with all
the DNA all over the certain things? Why are you
going to secret dumpsters?
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Yeah? I don't think it's gonna take long. Hopefully we'll
have a decision by this afternoon.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
I mean, Christmas is around the corner.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
These guys gonna get home, Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
All right, let's talk about Sharon Moore.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
I told you that this is going to be a
massive story, and I said, listen away from football.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
This is crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Sharon Moore, former Michigan football coach, was arrested yesterday. I'm
sorry Wednesday night. Yesterday was Thursday when the story kind
of broke.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
And we didn't really know much.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
We knew that he was fired from the head coaching
position at Michigan. We knew that he had essentially had
some sort of relationship with a coworker, which is why
he lost his job, And we knew that he was
arrested and we didn't know why. Now we're finding out
more details. First and foremost, we got multiple nine one
one calls. The first one coming from his wife saying,
(08:25):
my husband lost his job today and he's suicidal and
he's like carrying around a knife.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
That sounds sad, so sad.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
The second call comes in from another woman, younger, saying
that she's being attacked by a man and he has
been stalking her for months. So essentially the wife and
the lover both called nine one one. Both said he
had a knife. One said he was suicidal. The lover
(08:53):
said he ended up dropping the knife and running off.
Police were able to get him within the hour.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
So I feel bad from the wife's perspective, But from
the lover's perspective, this dude has been stalking her too,
that's what she's saying, which I mean, you have to believe,
right because a guy lost his job and all this
other stuff that went with it too.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
I also told you.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
Guys, there were rumors yesterday that he had essentially door
dashed her the plan B told her to get an abortion.
It's seemingly like those rumors are starting to look true
as well.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
No validity.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
I mean we haven't heard like one hundred percent, but
that's everywhere as well. And I just think after he
got terminated, he just lost his mind. Yeah, I don't
know what he was planning on doing, who knows. Unrelated
but related. Somebody had kind of tweeted out suggesting that
the Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood, who's really good, transfer like
(09:45):
get out of Michigan.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
And Tom stepped.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
In and said, what because that dude is amazing.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Tom Brady goes, he's a Wolverine.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah, and he's going to get back to work and
he's going to lead us next year LFG. And I
guess some people did not appreciate that from Tom Brady.
I'm like, why, like, no, you know, think about it's
his al my mother. Yes, yes, something happened there, but
guess what. People still want to go to Penn State
and we know what San Dusky.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Was doing, you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Like something bad, bad things have happened at Northeastern. I'm
still screaming from the rooftops. That's I'm a Husky for life.
Tom is not co signing for anything that happened there,
but Tom is co signing for the university from Michigan.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
He's a Michigan fan.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
And he's ultimately defending the player too, which is really
good and bright, amazing quarterback. And he's from Michigan too,
So this is yeah, yeah, crazy.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
People are nuts.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
We will learn, I think a lot more and what
exactly the charges are looking like because Sharon Moore is
expected to be arraigned in court two day.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Can I tell you though, I did not know that
you can door dash plan B, which I think, like,
I don't know how that makes me feel. It makes
me feel a little bit odd. I never do. But
what door dash that? I'm just kidding that, I know.
Speaker 1 (10:57):
Yeah, that was kind of I never door down. Uh,
grocery items was what I was gonna say. But every
time I go up there to order food, it will
say for an extra fifteen backs they can go to CVS.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
So I know I knew it was an option.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
I've done medicine and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I've never even done that.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Something about this one, it makes me feel little bit uncomfortable.
Strain idiot was trying to like door dowsh to her.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
House, to any Yeah, and it's hard not to kind
of start to like create these narratives in your head,
Like if she says he was showing up with a
knife trying to attack her, he was stalking her for months,
but she's also his executive assistant.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
It's like, what, There's way.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
More to the story that I'm sure we will learn about.
At one point, the police were telling the wife call him,
try to get him to come back home because they
were trying to find him.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
They thought, you know, he had this. There's a lot happening. Chrisy,
this story is nuts. All right, let's talk about Usher.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I this kind of like Legit melted my heart because
as a parent, this is something I think about often.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
You're actually going through this, this is like your life.
Speaker 1 (12:02):
But Usher and his two sons, Sinco and na Vede
have a new Instagram series called Carversations where they discuss
social media and online safety. I think it's dope that
Usher is spearheading this because it kind of makes it cool,
and I think that it will help the teens because
they'll see, like, wow, the celebrity is kind of having
(12:23):
these type of conversations, but essentially Usher's trying to highlight
real convos with families about technology and what it's like
to grow up in a digital world.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
You know.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
He says he appreciates the features like the teen accounts
on ig limiting, trying to limit kids exposure and give
him a peace of mind. They have discussions about screen
time limits and you know, things that they should prioritize,
so things that will populate onto their feed and he
essentially says that it changed the music industry and they
have these heavy conversations which.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Again are.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
It scares me, yeah, to think of my little girls
getting older and then having to deal with social media.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
I didn't because I didn't.
Speaker 3 (13:05):
No, I think the best advice I could give as
a parent that's dealing with this has had these conversations
like early on because they show up fast and these
issues on social and when the phone start happening at teenagers,
it's like, you wouldn't believe the stuff that I've heard
just through the schools that's getting sent around or just craziness,
and it impacts them so much even.
Speaker 1 (13:24):
Telling them like it's just such a false sense of reality.
It's just everybody's best stuff. It's filtered. It's all the things.
I mean. Yeah, you might catch a few accounts where
people are like super authentic, and really, for the most part, that's.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Where people go to. It's a highlight reel.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
It's a mixed it is, but I would say the
bigger problems are like listen, when we were kids, we
would deal with stuff like throughout the week. Then we
had a weekend to take a break from everything. Now,
like all the issues that they're dealing with like at school,
it continues to live throughout the nine and it doesn't
go away, so there's no turning it off. So there's
so many elements of it, but they're heavy conversations that
(14:01):
you have to have and don't shy away from them.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I know it. I always go back to this, but
it just.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
You know how they say, like you never know when
you're in the good times, like the good old days.
You never know when you're in the good old days.
I think about that often because are we lucked out big.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Time with our childhood?
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:21):
I really believe that, just because it was we were
so so much more concentrated on being outside, being with
our friends, doing the activities like this.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
It's just different now, yes, but then again, in retrospect,
you're looking at it from what we experienced, They're going
to think the same exact thing.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
They're going to think the good old days are tasks horrifying.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yes, all these three things need to know for Friday,
December the twelfth.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
The number one preset on your app better be Us.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
When you're listening to jam and on there, it's super
easy hit that little button at Us as your number
one preset. So that way when we see Billy Costa
in the hallways, we can remind him.
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Beat you again again, Billy in the morning show.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Morning Bustin's number one for hip hop. I am in
ninety four or five.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
By everybody, Good Morning, Happy Friday. I wish that.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
I could say it's gonna happen again. We're gonna have
another holiday party here at I Heart. It's gonna get crazy,
we're gonna have stories. But we haven't had a holiday
party in damn near five years.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
I think the last one we went to was at Encore, right.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
I think, so yeah, and there's a picture of us.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Yeah, I'm in there. And even that one wasn't as
crazy because it was on like a t weekday and
we had to come in like the next day.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
But you know what, better than nothing. We're not having
a Christmas party this year.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
We're having some gathering the second week of January on
a Tuesday at three point thirty.
Speaker 7 (15:56):
I don't even know.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
They're calling it like a New Year celebration. I don't
even know what it is.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
But man, I miss the og days. We were talking
about this because I'm going to this holiday party tonight.
First off, Christmas parties, holiday parties great time.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
I think they're the wildest ones.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
They really are such a good time. You can get
a little fancier.
Speaker 3 (16:16):
Pay because usually what happens they're work related, right, so
you're there with people from work that you might have
this flirty relationship with and some of the times the
spouses don't get invited, so people get crazy, you start
to drink, and they actually, you know, people are sneaking
off into little corners and all that stuff. I'm seeing
that happened for so many years.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
You've had some tales like from parties that I wasn't
even in attendance.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
I had tales from back in the day where like listen,
the last ten years of life have changed a lot
for the media, for everything. But back in the day,
people used to get crazy and do wild things, and
I would say, like the sleeping around was really bad.
You know how many times I'd walk off from the
party in the parking lot see two people in the
car just like hooking up.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
There's a famous there was a famous iHeart Christmas party
where it got it was over, and two people got
spotted at a bar like they didn't even go too
far from where the actual party was, but it kind
of blew up and then the whole office knew about it.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
I wasn't here, We're not here. Okay, okay, you weren't.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
You had been fired, but you weren't back yet.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
And I think, like listen, I think you can almost
predict who would be hooking up with people in any office,
and there's always a tone. But when you see them
in this situation, specifically when it comes to the holiday ones,
people just let loose and get crazy. And then I've
also seen people like cross the line with certain things.
The next thing, you know, you need to come back to,
like work the next day. There was somebody I'm not
gonna say when they worked here, but they were on
(17:40):
stage rapping right like a song and this person's white
and they're rapping, rapping, rapping. It was a biggie song
and they're using the end word. I'm like, what is
going on right now? And there's a video on raging
at someplace with this person. Again, holiday parties, people get
too comfortable. They do this like that is that's wild.
(18:04):
It's usually the hookup stories that you hear. But I mean,
iHeart used to throw some legendary. I mean, we had
Brody Jenner, that's right, we had Brodie Jenner DJ. One
of our holiday parties. We had Little John. The Little
John one was really funny because again when we were leaving,
there were a lot of people down the lobby just
acting crazy and hammered. Why you know, I don't want
(18:26):
to tell it which one because I don't know which
one you want me to.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
There was a guy that used to work here. He
rests in and he's literally not with us anymore. Yes,
and we had that that specific Christmas party.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
But you need the privacy with what he was like
as a person at base level, like every day.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
But it's hard because.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
Himself, I think everybody would understand that he was not
really that happy of a person in the sense of
like he wasn't approachable.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
She's not going to be happy with this.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
But will you describe him in one word, aj, you're
not a part of this combo. Can you describe this
person and I'll give you my mic just in one
word angry.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
That's what I was going to say.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
You avoided this person every single day, but you didn't.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Want to ask him for anything.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
I remember one time I was filming something for like
CBS and I had to ask him something and I
was with like the CBS camera crew.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
He yelled at me.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
In front of them yep, And I asked like, hey,
can you unlock this door for us because only he
had access?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah, angry, I would. I would definitely say that.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
And at the time, Ramiro had worked here and Ramiro,
you and I like we we avoided him, you know,
but he thought.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
That, Well, he got upset at Romero because Ramero wanted
him to fix his computer and he like exploded, which
by the way, was his job.
Speaker 1 (19:53):
Yeah, and he it was this whole thing between Santi,
myself and Ramiro versus him again.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
May rest in peace now. Anyways, Uh, he gets guys.
Speaker 1 (20:05):
He gets so gone, like so drunk at the Christmas
party that when we were all leaving, he kept us
over and over going.
Speaker 3 (20:13):
Mirro, I love you, I love you in Miami. He
kept throwing in Miami in there, and I was like,
oh my god, what happened.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
I don't know if it's as funny for you guys
as it is for us, I think, but you understand
what we're saying, like the most, just mad, like angry,
hard edge, like goes to the holiday party, guys, lige Santa.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
At a party and people start acting crazy.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Yes, I'm not mad, I love you.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
We're in Miami, by the way, we were in the
city at like the w I don't know where we were.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
Where it is, but man, the hookup story is always
the best. And I've been at other ones where spouses
have been there and have seen some stuff where like
it causes some issues and just a relationship.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
So I wish we could tell you some crazy stories
from ours this year.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Wenna have him well.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
But does anybody have a holiday party story for us?
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Give us the juice, give us the tea.
Speaker 1 (21:11):
Six one seven nine three one one nine for five
six one seven nine three one one nine for five.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
We're talking holiday party drama. As the Morning Show when
you need to know.
Speaker 5 (21:26):
We got you three things you need to know on
Bustin's number one for hip hop and the best throwbacks
you haven't any four.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
Five Have you made a decision about whether you wish
to testify at this trial?
Speaker 4 (21:39):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (21:39):
I have?
Speaker 2 (21:40):
And what is your decision?
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I will not testify?
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Why is it just so creeped hearing his voice?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Because you know he killed his wife?
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Yeah, and we just never hear From Friday, December twelfth,
that was Brian Walsh saying, hey, I'm not going to testify,
but it didn't matter because the defense called zero witnesses
and rested in about seconds yesterday. So it's happening. Prosecution
is rested, defense has rested. So now we're gearing up
for closing arguments today. I feel like the judge will
(22:08):
probably give the jury some instructions. Forty five minutes are
allotted to each side. The jury will then receive the case,
and how long will hoslong will it take for them
to decide if this man is guilty of murder?
Speaker 3 (22:23):
One thirty minutes. It's quick, It's going to be fast.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Now.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Not sure if this will change your mind, but I
would like to let you know that The jury at
this moment has no idea that he admitted to lying
to police and moving the body, so they know none
of that.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
They just know what's been presented to them.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
The Google searches, the multiple shopping trips for me, the
state of their relationship.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
For me, it's the hacksaw with all the blood. That's
so obvious. Herb popped a body, Yes, yes, herbal The buckets,
the buckets, all the stuff you need to get rid
of a.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Body, ammonia, the bleach, the cleaning supplies, the band aids.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
Yeah, where were the kids? Where were the kids? This
was Christmas break.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
The kids were probably upstairs sleeping, which is a whole
nother element of this.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
A super sad So he was doing this like in
the middle of the night. I just yeah, yeah, So
we shall see. Hopefully we get an answer sooner than later.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
I think we will.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
I don't think it's gonna take the jury that long
to delivery. Also think they want to be home for Christmas.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
Life at Shirley Max.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Stuff like that matters, all right.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Searon Moore, former Michigan football coach. You gotta know the
name by now. You cannot escape it anywhere. Timeline for
him on Wednesday, it's you know, released to the public
that he has been let go fired as head coach
football coach at Michigan, a very very big title, especially there.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
So he gets fired.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Fast forward, we find out that he was fired because
he was having some sort of inappropriate relationship with another employee,
someone that worked with him.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
Come to find out, it was another employee that snitched,
which is what's going on in that office?
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Yeah, like unless something's going really bad, and say the
fact that maybe he was stalking her, then you really,
why are you snitching?
Speaker 1 (24:07):
I told Santia. Reminds me of the chick if you
watch the Monica Lewinsky. So yeah, like Monica became friends
with another girl in the office, confided in her, and
then that one snitched.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Like there's one thing that like, you can gossip, but
why are you gonna snitch? Yeah about this?
Speaker 2 (24:21):
I just wouldn't want to deal with like the authorities,
you know.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Anyways, so he gets caught doing that, He goes home,
something happens with his wife. His wife calls nine one
one and says he's got a knife and he's suicidal.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
He lost his job today.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
He then heads to the lover's apartment complex with the knife.
She calls nine one one. She's like, he's harassing me.
He's attacking me. He's been stalking me for months. He
has a knife. He knows now that the cops are coming,
he drops said knife, he runs. The cops get him
within an hour, but they were even asking the wife like, hey,
can you call him see if he'll come back.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
We got to get him to calm down.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
But yeah, that was the first the wife said to
the police in the nine one dispatch call.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Was he lost his job today, he's suicidal. I'm worried.
He has a knife.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
It's giving I fell in love with my lover and
then he was trying to now be with the other girl.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Because there are well, there's just so many layers to this,
Like we're also finding out that he doordashed Plan B
to her, asked her to get an abortion.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
Like, there's gonna be a lot of layers to this.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Listen, I feel bad for the kids. There's three kids
at home that now their dad's going through this and
their mom's dealing with all this stuff. I also feel
like he needs help, like clearly if he's like at
this point in his life and he's thinking about taking
his own life. He needs some Seriah's help.
Speaker 1 (25:34):
If the DoorDash thing is true, it's giving that he
wanted to cover it up. So now that this is
all out, he was backed into a corner and he
was like, what am I going to do with my
life now type of thing, and it got scary. Yeah,
I'm glad the police got to him before he was
harming himself for somebody else.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Absolutely. Now on the other end of things, I have
a lot of questions I need like answers for like
where's your mind set out? Did you want to be
one or the other? Like everything?
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah? Three littles, yes, three little babies. Tom somehow got
thrown into the mix.
Speaker 1 (26:03):
Tom Brady, that is somebody basically tweeted out and said, listen,
you know Bryce Underwood, you should transfer, you know, go
to Louisiana, go to LSU, go anywhere, get out of Michigan.
And Tom stepped in and goes, whoa, whoa, whoa, He's
a wolverine. He's gonna get back to work and lead
us next year. LFG.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Tom's a Wolverine for life, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
Like that's his alma mater, just like ice cream from
the rooftops for Northeastern.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
That's just what that is. Don't readeep into that.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
That's not Tom saying, oh what I co signed for
everything that happened over there. Tom's like, No, that's that's
my spot, that's my alma mater.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Yeah, but the Internet is the Internet.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
And yeah, they're still telling me that my kid that
I should get my kids taken away and I'm a
bad mom. The Internet is crazy. By the way, Searan
Moore will be arraigned in court today, so I'm thinking
we're gonna learn some more details about what is going
on in Michigan. Or and lastly, twenty one Savage dropping
a surprise announcement. He gave it a new album, Overnights,
(27:02):
What Happened to the Streets. It has fifteen tracks on it,
one of which includes Drizzy. Here's a clip from mister
Recoop just for a.
Speaker 8 (27:11):
Pair of nose gym sous Taylor Perry, he made plays
for the block. Wasn't even about to rap on his
but it when are you trying to go because of
smoke at the top, say at the party, throw them
bitches in the truck. It was just on Yon Street.
They was hitting it up my lat fanom movie, bitch,
(27:31):
it's just us. They can't find a shooter, bitch because
it's us, us, us, it was.
Speaker 9 (27:38):
Us if it shot my brother nives. Don't know who
to trust. My odds be so brought that we've been
shooting at the bus. Bro say, playing patient knives dog,
I'm in no rest. I'm trying to buck. Hey, I'm
trying to shoot, trying to clutch.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Hey, I'm trying to add him to the list like
that the lust.
Speaker 9 (27:54):
Hey, I'm trying to wash the wind shiff out from
office truck. Hey, I'm trying to smack his.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Twins and lit.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
My line from that one is my ops are so broke,
Like my ops are so poor that I just shoot
at the bus. There are things that my ops take
the bus. They don't got the money to have their
own vehicle. Twenty one said it was a little slow,
like slow paced. But a lot of people are downloading
that one right there.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Can you upload it? Can you download and be like,
I just can just give it back to them.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
Never forget the time where I met him and I
called him mister twenty one and heat We exchanged absolutely
zero words with each other. Nonetheless, he's been doing some
interviews and here he actually is talking about Drake.
Speaker 9 (28:38):
I told her do anyway, but got down. He felt
like he was being challenged lyrically, so he wanted to respond.
I said, you're finish going to a battle that you
can't win, Like there's no way you can win no
matter what bro certain situations. Even if you win, you
still don't win like the we he would have got
(29:00):
if people would have quote unquote say he won, because
I don't really look at like who won, who lost?
It still being screened the most, like people say like, oh,
Kendrick one. Kendrick a good ass rapper, though you know
what I'm saying, And some of his songs was hard,
but god damn Drake Drake songs too.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
You feel what I'm saying.
Speaker 9 (29:17):
But I feel like all the difference is when you're
at the top, when you the number one, where does
winning put you? You can't go like number one point one?
So how could you win? Anyway?
Speaker 3 (29:29):
That's what I told.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Him, Okay, he said.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
I called Drake and I said, Drake, you're already one.
Don't worry about Kendrick. You can't become one point one,
one point one.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
I like that. That's wise words from mister twenty one.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
Technically one point one is lower than one point he was.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
It was quick, you know. So there you have it.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
That's three things either know for Friday, December the twelfth.
Talkbacks are a great way to utilize the show and
be a part of it. If you can't call us
down the free iHeart radio app. Put Jim and on,
hit that little red microphone and say what.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Morning show?
Speaker 5 (30:00):
Good morning, Bustin's number one for hip hop. He am
in ninety four or five?
Speaker 3 (30:07):
What are you doing?
Speaker 2 (30:08):
How are you doing? What's going on?
Speaker 1 (30:10):
We're talking about your life, your world? Tell us a story,
comment on things we've talked about thus far, or ask
us a question.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Just wondering why was Santi fired from the Gemini for ffore. Guys,
never told this story if you're allowed to, But what happened?
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I feel like we've told it double digit times.
Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yeah, that's okay.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
She hasn't heard.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
It, so I guess the story is when Rameiro is
here hosting the morning show, he didn't want to continue
with the radio station and wanted to pursue other avenues,
so they essentially got rid of They ended its contract
early in the sense, and then they fired me too
(30:54):
in that whole package July fourth weekend July second, twenty fifteen. Now,
I don't know what they thought, that we were in
conhoots with each other. I have no idea, but that's
what happened. So I came into work expecting to do
a show. We did the show, and at the end
of the show, they brought us into a room all
separately and basically told me that Ramia didn't want to
sign and that also meant that I was no longer
(31:14):
part of the show.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
And for me then it was just the worst feeling
because they were like, we're going to keep you, yes,
and I'm like, and what am I doing?
Speaker 3 (31:26):
But they brought you in third, they brought me, so
we were in the studio. You came back in, and
my perspective was that they got rid of us all
and then you were like, ay, I'm gonna be honest
with you. They asked me us to like still be
a part of like the like just the radio station.
I'm like, oh wow, yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Then I saw it all start, like you know that
meme where it's like the ladies looking up and it's
like the puzzle pieces math is kind of mathing.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
So in that moment, I was like, Okay, I see
what this is. I took my bag and I left,
and I still remember, like the drive home. I drove
home in silence. I thought about just what had happened.
And I had seen a lot of people go through
this and I never thought I'd be in this position,
but I was driving home in silence. I got home.
I remember like my wife being super emotional. Yeah, but
I was like, listen, anything at the time didn't hit
(32:11):
me yet. Yeah, it really hit me in November of
that year where I started to see the world move
on and everything.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
Like that, and I remember being so just emotional. I
was confused. I didn't really like understand what was happening.
And I think the main thing for me was like
I thought we were happy. I thought everything was good.
So I was really confused by that and I kind
of couldn't work my mind through that. And then I thought,
(32:39):
I'll never have this opportunity again. I'll never have an
opportunity where I go to work every day and I
like love the person that I'm working with.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
I'm working with one of my best friends.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
I'm laughing, I'm happy and then a few other things
happened and I was still not happy, and I thought, Okay,
I'll never get back to that again.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
And then you know, I don't.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Love the everything happens for a reason because I feel
like some people use that as a but we wouldn't
be here if that didn't happen.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
And now I have that feeling back, which is really nice.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
I was a different person back then. I was much different.
I probably had an ego that was a little too big.
I walked around here with a certain thing and it
wasn't good. Getting fired and going through that whole experience
was definitely humbling, and it changed me in so many ways.
So I look back at that and I'm like, thank
god that happened, because I don't know what type of
person i'd be right now. Yeah, things continued.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
The way that you just described that. I think it's
perfect for how I felt when I got the neurovirus.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Yeah, exact like I was then, I'm untouchable.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Then I'm not anymore the virus.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
You want to bad for those little kids, Oh, I'm
gonna say back for the toilet, because like that, that's
that's where the damage was.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
There is the story everybody six one seven, nine three
one one nine four five six one seven nine three
one one nine four five call us. We're talking about
whatever you want the checking Hi, everybody, good morning, It's
Ashley the Every Morning Show. It's turning out that this
check in is a lot of talkbacks, which, hey, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
If you aren't familiar with the talkback option, you can
down the free iHeartRadio app. Once you're listening to jam
and on the app, a little microphone pops up and
it would be like leaving me a voicemail like this.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
Wait a minute, did Asley just admit that she actually poops?
Speaker 2 (34:23):
First off? Yeah, don't.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
That was the disrespect in that using the P word.
I wouldn't absolutely never say that. No, I had the neurovirus.
And you take from that what you will, But I
never said the other thing.
Speaker 3 (34:34):
Can I ask you?
Speaker 7 (34:35):
Though?
Speaker 1 (34:35):
When he now, you said, can I ask you?
Speaker 2 (34:40):
And I am saying no.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
I know he no means no, fine, have you heard
of it? Can I ask one simple question?
Speaker 10 (34:49):
Come on?
Speaker 2 (34:50):
I said, no, you can put it out there in
the air.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Fe Can I put it out there in the air
when one when somebody in your house has to go
to the bathroom. What do they say specifically you to
your kids.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
I don't say anything to them.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
I don't you just go if they if they come looking.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
For you, well if I'm I mean, I just pee
so they can.
Speaker 3 (35:09):
Okay, be part of that. And like, what's that small mommy?
How do you like?
Speaker 8 (35:15):
Yo?
Speaker 3 (35:15):
That's a roma.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
I am so done.
Speaker 1 (35:23):
Like I just want to be at Ernie box House
in Champaign and I have to deal with this. Uh
anyway six one seven, nine three one one four five.
That is six one seven nine three one one nine
four five call me. We're talking about you, your life,
your world, anything you want. I'm really praying it has
nothing to do with that stuff.
Speaker 7 (35:41):
But happy Friday. Make sure you guys know we appreciate
you too.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Oh that's sweet, we appreciate it. Uh, colus guys.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Six one seven nine three one one nine four five.
We're talking about whatever you want. Checking Good morning, Hi everybody,
Good morning. It's Ashley and the Gym and Morning Show.
We're talking about whatever you want, whatever's going on in
your world. Memphis is in Boston, Hi, Memphis, good morning.
Speaker 7 (36:09):
Good morning. What's going on Ashland, Suntie, listen.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
I think this is a great PSA for everybody. You
want to talk about how important it is to do
things with the kids.
Speaker 7 (36:20):
Yes, I also want to know. I'm a seven six
and seven sixty seven grave math teacher in the city.
I had to put it out there.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
You know, this is like it's if you're around kids
that say it, you absolutely must.
Speaker 7 (36:36):
All the time. But I really want to just stress
to you know, the parents out there. You know, it's
very important that you do things with your children. Just
the smallest things go a long way. You know, as
a person with a crazy photographic memory, I remember the
smallest things that I did with my parents. And so
my daughter, she's a dancer at Originations Cultural Center across
from Forest Hills, and you know, they've been putting on
(37:01):
this plate about Quanta it's called Tafuta for years and
my daughter joined, you know, the dance troup years ago,
and you know, I saw them play and then I
just decided that, you know, I want to be a
part of that too.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
With my daughter.
Speaker 7 (37:13):
That's a special special moment that she and I can share.
And last year she was the lead and I was
like one of the leads in the second act, and
it's just it was just a surreal feeling. You know
that I want many parents to know that it's just
time for us to start doing things with our children again.
You know.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
Yeah, you know what, You're so true, Like it gets
me actually emotional thinking about it. But I can think
back to moments from my childhood and same thing.
Speaker 2 (37:37):
I mean, my.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
Parents were there and you know, they did everything to
make this, especially this time of year, so special. And
you know, often I think the holidays, Christmas, quons, whatever
it is that you celebrate, like it's what we make
of it for them, right, like we we are the holidays,
you know, And I.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Think that's really exactly.
Speaker 7 (38:00):
Yeah, you know, as and as a person who you know,
I lost both of both of my parents early, so
I missed those moments, you know what I mean, I
didn't I didn't have Well you can't miss what you
never had, you know, And so I want to make
sure that I provide it for my children. And that's
a PSA for all the parents in the city. You know,
those parents are around the city who know me because
I'm talking like four or five siblings.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
So you know, I just want to oh, no, we
lost them, but no, I think that is that's just
a really dope message.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
And it's so true. It's like.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
We're tired, you know, we all as parents and and
and just as people we don't have to have kids. Like,
we're tired, right, We're we're doing all these things. We're
trying to make everybody else happy. But it is true,
Like take a second, take a breather, and just think
about the kids and how important.
Speaker 2 (38:48):
These these days are.
Speaker 1 (38:49):
Like December is one month, right, and I think it's
it's up to us to make it as special as
possible for them. And that's why when I see these
memes with like women with their heads cut off and
dads and we're just trying to do it.
Speaker 2 (39:01):
We're trying to do it all and fit it in.
But it's magical.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
It is. Mike is in Boston.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
Mike needs some advice. Hi, Mike, what can we do
for you?
Speaker 4 (39:10):
Good morning, Good morning, Happy Friday. First off, Memphis, thank
you for the PSA. I totally agree with you one.
But so the deal is kids, Mom and I we
separated a couple of years ago. I have recently since
then found a new partner. Oh, I had another child
with over the summer, and you know, everything's been great.
(39:34):
Her and I have maintained a good relationship post split,
and we've never had a schedule. We're just kind of like, hey,
can I grab the kids and let me just go
grab them and spend some time with them whenever I
was back home when I used to be a trust
travel And so now fast forward, she expects to me
she can no longer afford to live here in mass
(39:55):
and she has some help out of state. And my
kids are twelve and eight, And I said, you know,
I'm not a fan, but I understand, and I don't
have the room for them because my new partner has
multiple kids and we just don't have the room. So
she's moving and I don't really have a choice in
that matter.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Mike, I just don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:17):
Just I feel like for people listening, if you don't
mind me asking, we're here in mass how far are
we talking?
Speaker 2 (40:21):
Like moving out of state? Where's she going?
Speaker 7 (40:24):
Out of state?
Speaker 3 (40:25):
Way south?
Speaker 1 (40:26):
Okay, so we're talking like a plane trip. You know
you don't have to, but we're talking plane trip, is
what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
Or can we drive?
Speaker 7 (40:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:34):
If you drive, is going to take you about a
day and.
Speaker 7 (40:35):
Day and a half.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
All right, Wow, Okay, all right, so and you know, so.
Speaker 7 (40:39):
It's gonna make it tough.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
And you know, my kids and I are very close,
so we're all very sad about it. It's just, you know,
I finally decided to lawyer her up and serve to
kind of just protect my rights as a father. But
you know, me with her and I have always been
maintaining the good relationship. I also feel kind of guilty
and bad. He has no idea she's going to get
third today. I feel bad, and I hope it hasn't
(41:03):
changed the dynamic.
Speaker 7 (41:05):
What are you asking?
Speaker 1 (41:05):
What do you want to make asking for her to
not leave the state, Like, what's your request?
Speaker 8 (41:11):
No?
Speaker 4 (41:12):
No one thing about me is that I'm never going
to put somebody in a position where they can't proceed forward.
Speaker 7 (41:17):
And do better with their lives.
Speaker 4 (41:19):
Like I want her to be great and just you know,
be as successful as possible for the sake of our kids.
I want our kids to see that mom and dad
are still the United Front. I also, you know, I'm
just side, but I also want to ensure my guaranteed visitation.
I just feel I feel bad that I'm catching her
off guard right the court, you know, because she's been
through a court proceeding in the past with her next husband,
(41:40):
and I saw her what it did to her. But
I just feel so bad, and she's giving me so
much uncertainty when I when I speak about, hey, I'm
going to bring them up to come visit over the summer, this, this,
and that. She's always it's always one excuse to the other, like, well,
we'll see what the time brings. I'd rather I just
want concrete answers and listen.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
I guess for me outsider listening into you talk like this.
Speaker 2 (42:02):
I think that hopefully.
Speaker 1 (42:05):
One day she can digest this as this was all
because he loved his kids so much, not because he
wanted to hurt me. Because I absolutely believe there's people
that break up and they're just trying to do whatever
they can to hurt each other in the process.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
This is not what this is.
Speaker 1 (42:19):
I mean, look how highly you've spoken for you hadn't
said an ill word about her, and this is all.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
I would never and I'll defend that too. Yeah, I
would never let somebody, anybody speak any badly about her
because at the end of the day's the mother and
my kids. She's good, My kids are good, and I
can sleep at night with that, and you know, at
the end of the day, it's like, I want her
to think this is going to be against her despite
or anything. Again, we were never married, so I just
want to protect my rights as a father and you know,
(42:46):
go through the court and you know, and.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Just get it in writing that Hey, we're doing every
other summer, every other Christmas, whatever, it.
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Is exactly exactly, you know. So it's like I feel
kind of bad because it's gonna probably blindsided leaving a
couple of days. Yeah, and it was so bad.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
Is there a way again, just because the way you've
spoken about her, is there a way that you could
maybe just tell her that you're doing this? Or do
you not feel comfortable even warning her that this is
going to happen today?
Speaker 4 (43:16):
So it's it's sound like a catch twenty two. I
think that's the right phrase. I was advised that it
would be okay to do so, but then I run
the risk of dodging the serve and now in that
other state.
Speaker 1 (43:28):
Yeah, and then that yeah, yeah, well I just want
to make let's hope she's listening to kiss I want
to wait today, buddy, Yeah, I know. I listen again
and this is this is I will hone in on this.
I think that she's going to be pissed, duh, because
now she has to deal with the legalities of all
this and court and all those things. But she could
(43:50):
be dealing with a different type of man who wants
nothing to do with his kids, doesn't care go anywhere
you want. I don't want to see those kids anyway,
And if I had to choose, I would choose this
route as opposed to somebody who didn't want to be
a part of their kids' lives.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
So hopefully one day she can get there, and you
know she can.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
There's like one more additive to that situation too, like
that both my kids, one biologically mine, the oldest he
I raisedly with ten months old, so I'm the only
dad he knows. And you know, I just don't want
her to be spiteful.
Speaker 3 (44:22):
And I think that, you know, because.
Speaker 4 (44:25):
I'm taking my biological child that he can't come along,
because I want him to experience that with me as well,
because I've been there his entire life.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
Yeah, and he's starting to get.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
To the age where he could probably make that decision
too and tell her, like I want to see him,
you know, or or I don't.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
Yeah, yeah, And you know, I just don't want her
to feel like she has to manipulate her more like
she's not that type of person. I don't see that
in her. But you know, things can change when it
comes to legal proceedings with a lot of people. And
I guess I'm just I'm trying to cut my own
my own butt.
Speaker 1 (45:01):
Well, listen, you want to see your kid, and you
want to make sure it's in writing, and you want
to make sure there's no discrepancies. And I again, I
hate that it has to go through the quarrita. Wish
it didn't. And I feel like you've also tried the
other avenues so that it doesn't have to go this way.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
It just kind of is what it is for you.
Speaker 1 (45:16):
I know we don't have time to go, but I
just do you want to go to Kim But I'm
sure Mike's gonna want to rebuttal I would.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
All right, Mike, this woman.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
Wants to say something to you, so don't go anywhere
because I'm sure you're going to want to answer what
she has to say. So you hold, okay, we can
I'm sorry, Mike. If you're cool, we'll put you guys
on together. Is that all right?
Speaker 7 (45:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Okay, Okay. Kim is in Brockton.
Speaker 1 (45:38):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (45:39):
Do you want to go to Kim? I' Kim? Hi,
kimhere us turn the radio down. Hell, Hi, there she is. Okay,
keep the radio down because we'll have an echo. Kim.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
You're actually on with myself, Santi, And you know, I
didn't realize you could have everybody on at the same time.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
You want to tell Michael, go ahead, tell Mike what
you want to say.
Speaker 10 (46:07):
No, I just wanted to say I like the fact
that he didn't disregard his kid's mother, and he hasn't
said a negative thing about her, and he can talk
to her, et cetera, et cetera. But then he went
into saying, oh, well, I feel I need to go
to the legal route. Well, one, you can talk to
her first and tell her what you want to do,
if you guys have that relationship before going through the courts.
(46:28):
And then the second part, if there's so many kids
already in the house, then you do have space for
your kids, you bunk them up. You can't have more
space for somebody else's kids than not yours. So I
just kind of just wanted to say that, but it
sounds like there's more to it if he feel he
can't talk with her and let her know, Hey, you know,
I want to grab the kids for the summer versus
(46:48):
going through the court system. Something else is missing, Mike.
Speaker 4 (46:54):
Yeah, so yeah, So in regards to that, I do
I should have more room for my kids. The only
problem is in a three bedroom with four kids, and
my kids are also older, so they kind of need
their space and whether right right now they're all cooped
up in one room since the split. She hasn't been
able to afford living on her own yet. And now
she's being afforded space in the state where my kids
(47:17):
will be allowed to especially be in different genders, be
allowed to be themselves. Now have their own space, and
there's something that I can afford to them at the moment.
And plus they have a little more family down there now,
you know, cousins and stuff that they're also really close with.
I just you know, I've seen them go through the
(47:38):
legal proceedings once before, and I guess we were never
married masters of default state to the mom, and I
just want to make sure that my rights as a
father is always insured. God forbid something happens, or, like
you know, an attitude change.
Speaker 7 (47:54):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
I don't see as that type of person, but again,
things can change with legal proceedings, and I'm hope that
it doesn't because she is a good person. I just
want to believe that it doesn't. But I also want
to just make sure that I'm concrete covered no matter what.
Speaker 7 (48:07):
If that makes sense, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
We're running out of time, but Kim, thank you for
your question.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Mike.
Speaker 1 (48:11):
I listen, we do this job for a living, and
I think a lot of times we're able to kind
of hear if there's like real sincerity in there in
somebody's voice, and it does seem like you're in a
sincere dude. Now another part about their show that I love,
I'll have you. Your rex might call me as soon
as we hang up and be like, don't listen at him.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
He don't lie or like people always fill me in.
But it does. I can hear it in your voice.
Speaker 1 (48:34):
I also feel like you, both of you guys, are
putting the kids first. I mean, she's only leaving because
money wise, that's what she can do to give them
a better life. And I feel like you understand that
you're just trying to ensure that Hey, once the summer
rolls around, I want them back here for those three
months because I want to be a part of their life.
And I really again, I hope that you guys, can
you know, figure that out and she understands why you're
(48:56):
doing this.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
In the end.
Speaker 4 (48:58):
Well, I appreciate that, and I would like to add
one last note too. She did eventually admit to me
post when we split that you know now she realizes
why I was rarely of a home trying to kill
myself to make sure I provided a household for us
when we were together, because I took on the big
bills while she took on the smaller ones like yeahlies
and cables, stuff like that. That's all she could afford
(49:18):
in her car and all that stuff. And she she
appreciated me for that, which is another reason. It's like,
it's kind of hard for me, but I also just
want to let everything going on in the world. I
want to be protected.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Yeah, and you also want to be a present dad
in your kid's life, and that to me is I
love exactly.
Speaker 2 (49:33):
Yeah. All right, Mike, Well, best of luck. Today might
be a tough day for you. You might be getting some
nasty messages, but we'll be pulling for it.
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Hope not.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
I hope not.
Speaker 3 (49:41):
That was good though, all.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
Right, buddy, thanks for the call. I mean, it's.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
Gonna be tough. That's an area that I don't know.
I can usually like, all right, well, in this situation,
you might want to do this, but I I have
no idea.
Speaker 2 (49:52):
Same same Joanne's getting the kids though.
Speaker 3 (49:55):
If that were yeah, I get it though.
Speaker 2 (49:57):
Yeah, yeah, the kids are going with some that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
We always have real conversations on this show, and we
couldn't have them without you guys, So I appreciate your calling.
Speaker 2 (50:05):
Good morning,
