Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake up, wake yo.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Hi everybody Happy Thursday? Thursday? Let's say Wednesday. Happy Wednesday?

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Yesterday? No idea.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Wow, that's tough.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
I actually really thought maybe we had a chance and
it was Thursday. Speak that into existence.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
But it's not.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's Wednesday. What's up?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Nothing that would have felt amazing. It's only Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Sorry, that's that's tough. How was your Tuesday?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Tuesday was fine?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Tuesday comes before Wednesday because it's not there.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Yeah. My life right now is just going back and
forth with all the kids events now that they're back
in school. My wife is away on business, so it's
been like picking somebody up, dropping somebody off, getting one ready,
doing dinner, doing this.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, what have you been making for dinner?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Last night? I made London broil with some friend tries
and the side of mac and cheese. I did you
didn't know what I mean? It's technically pre made, but
I made it. Yeah, Like if you go to Whole Food,
you can buy a whole thing. It's already cut, got it, Yeah, basically,

(01:19):
but the French fans I had, I had to bake those. Yeah,
it's tough. It was really tough. You know what. The
most annoying thing is too when I make all the stuff,
they don't they don't eat the food. They're like, I'm
not hungry, No, you're hungry. Yeah, but then my daughters
got back from basketball and they finished it off, so
at least somebody like finished it.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
When you guys were little, did you have like the
clean plate cup club rule?

Speaker 1 (01:42):
No, you just had to eat.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
But that's what that is.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
No, I know, I know, but in Dominican families, we
didn't use that terminology. Okay, yeah, because the food was
already scarce as it was.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Ours was like you had to be a member of
the clean plate club. You weren't allowed to get up
unless you finished. And if it was something that you
didn't like and you sat there and it got cold,
that did not matter. Like so she would, for instance,
she would make chicken pop pie, which I think is disgusting.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
I hate it still to this day as pie crust.

Speaker 3 (02:12):
I still have an adult despise it disgusting, and I
would just be like mad and not eat it, and
she would say, you go and.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Eat it, so I would. I would tell you to
eat it.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
Warm, but if you want to wait hours and I'd
have to sit there I would cry, clean clean plate
club you had to do.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
You know, they've said that like that whole thing was
like wasn't positive for like a lot of kids because
it it programmed us to all to think that we
need to finish every that's on our plates. So when
we got to these giant plates, you in like, in mind,
you have to finish it all.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
You know what's funny, I don't. That's not ingrained in
me like that I have to finish it all. But
it is ingrained in me like that.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
I have to eat what I order, yeah, and maybe
not finish my plate.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
But like if I I want something and I get it,
I don't really like it, I'm gonna finish just a
good amount of it.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Because I made I'm the same exact way, Like I
can't leave food on the plate, like I have to
work to leaf on the plate because like in my mind,
I need to finish it. Yeah yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Wow, yeah, no you can't. It's not like that these days.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
No, I'll cut up exactly what she asks for and
then she'll say I don't I don't want that, And
then there I am, my little bitch ass back at
the fridge making her something new. You know, it's just
it's crazy.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Big day today.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yes, Turtle Boy confirmed for seven thirty. My dms were crazy.
I obviously knew there was gonna be some backlash too,
because for as many fans as he has, there's well,
remember there's a whole There is a.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Large group of other people who don't believe that.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
The jury, maybe one or two even that.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
And do I not ask for them?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
So who are these people complaining? How y'all complaining dms?
But y'all never call up to say yes side of
the story. Come on, man, what are we doing?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
One of which was a close family member to the o'keeffees,
like a close family friend, and I had like a
little bit of a back and forth, and you know,
I think it's important to keep in mind that I
I'm not unaware that that exists, and there's that side
of it too, and I can imagine that it is
still every single day like an open wound, and it's

(04:32):
hard and it's you know, I'm never going to experience
it in that way. I think the only thing I
can do is reiterate that on this show, I have
welcomed anybody and anyone, anybody who's a part of this
to come be a part of the conversation and a
part of the show.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
And to your point, you gave the opportunity to be
on the air, like every every time body, and we
put them on too, Like even with the negative stuff
that like when Nick was on, people would call up
and they'd be complaining about this. You put them on
the from the beginning.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And we put on a family friend of John O'Keeffe
and I.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Got murdered by the other side for doing it.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
So it's like it's it was one of those things
where you know, I I just want to make sure
that those people realize, like I at there scene, I
know that there's that side too, But I think for me,
the bottom line is, you know, we were never a
crime show, and had it not been for that first
blog from Turtle Boy about Karen Reid, we wouldn't even

(05:31):
have been talking about Karen. So that's that's more so
why I want to talk to him, like he he
he popped a lid off.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
This whole thing.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
I'm just shocked that people are still this upset and
divided like over the whole thing, because I know that
Karen Ready case is gone. I was just shocked at
the response because like, again, like the jury made its decision,
she's moved not really moved on, but like we have
moved on a bit, but people are still super super divided.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I think exactly.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
And I think you have to look at it from
the and that's why I was trying to be extremely respectful,
because I'm trying to look at it through the lens
of here.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
You lost, whether it was.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
A family member an extremely good friend, you do not
believe anything happened in that home. You believe something happened
outside of that home. And now you like for an
essay saying you feel like the person responsible is just
out and about doing an interview.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Yeah, I understand them, that group of people. I understand
the average person walking the street, the one that's complaining
or that that I don't get. Yeah, if you're a
part of the family, and absolutely yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Because we also got some complaints from just people that
have no affiliation.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
To Those are the ones that I'm like, wait, what
are we still caught up on?

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Well, you know what, I thought, those people probably got
a blog written about them and they were like.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Wait, what, who's coming on the show. Uh, So it's confirmed.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
We will talk to Turtle Boy this morning right around
seven thirty if you have any questions for him at
Ashley Film and tueeze on the Ashley.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Of course I'll try and squeeze.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
Him incorn, especially in the jam In Morning Show with
Foreign and Santi.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
When you need to know, No, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags. She haven't any more vives.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
It is actually Wednesday, September tenth, and let's talk about
Derek Dixon to start it off. Derek Dixon is the
man accusing Tyler Perry of sexual.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Assault, and we finally got his story that he told.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
To ABC News. So basically, he described a drunken night
with Tyler Perry.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Excuse me, I will repeat what he said.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
The night looked like little graphic, not crazy, but uh,
he said, we were drunk. He pulled my underwear down
and he grabbed my butt. He kind of grabbed my
arms and said no, no, no, no, no, it's okay,
just go with it. And I said stop. I don't
want to be I don't want this, and he said,
I Am not going to hurt you. Dixon said that

(08:06):
the previous night that they had gotten into bed and
he noticed that he climbed into bed Tyler Perry that
is with him as well, and had started rubbing his leg,
and he said he immediately jumped out of the bed.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
He was uncomfortable. He added, unless somebody has.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Been through something where they have you know, their control
of their bodies taken away, you're not going to really
understand the kind of feelings that you get whilst in
that moment. So it seems like the night before they
got Tyler had gotten in bed with him, and then
the next night maybe.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
He got an idea like yeah, and he.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
He was staying at Tyler's house.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Yes, okay, they were friendly, and that's it's interesting that
you bring that up because Tyler Perry's lawyer said, quote,
this is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry
for what now appears to be nothing more than setting
up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down
and we are confident that these fabricated claims of harassment
will fail. So yeah, I mean, listen, I think, well,

(08:59):
we know that Tyler Perry, We've that's been confirmed. We
have the receipts that he is into men you know,
so fine, so waiting on yours. But the bottom line
is it seems like they had little something and then.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
The guy was like no, and Tyler Perry didn't listen,
so he says.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
And like, clearly, this guy feels like Tyler crossed a
few lines.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Right, That's what I'm gathering.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
And again, listen, no means no if you're true, then
but it seems like Tyler Perry is standing on business
that these were made up.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Absolutely, I'm just confused with the whole situation. So were
they romantic in the beginning and they were taking it
slower like whatever the thing was because he was staying
at his house.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, And the way it's just like the way.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
He talks about the bed night, it's almost like he
was in bed then Tyler got in bed with him
and then started rubbing his leg and he was like, no,
I don't want that.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:50):
That's kind of the theory that I think Tyler's team
is trying to paint. It's like this dude is just
a hurt person, like he didn't get what he wanted,
which I think was a roll of or he feels
like he was promised to rolling. Because of that, he
started because they had some text between them two being
like promised me and Tyler was like oh, and then
all of a sudden these accusations came out.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
So was he fine if he was just in bed
and not touching his Like, well, we can't answer that,
we don't. This is a question.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
Yeah, I get it, but we were near the bed
to say so. Obviously, Tyler Perry is like, I will
do whatever I have to.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
This is a lie. We'll go to court. Best.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
There won't be a family reunion.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
There will not.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
All right, Sweetie is teaming up with the NFL.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
They are giving her the title of the first ever
Monday Night Football Music Curator.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
Foreign Why.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Honestly, why? But what okay into football?

Speaker 3 (10:49):
Like that? Well, she's a huge forty nine Ers fan,
and I think somebody in her her her grandfather played
in the NFL and I think won a Super Bowl
for the Niners back in the day, so there is
there is a tie there.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
But her role will be she will be the.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
One to hand pick the songs for Monday night football games,
for the pregame promos and for the countdown and during
live broadcast.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
So any music you hear during Monday Night that is
from Sweety.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
She's the only one available. And again I don't know
too much everybody and entertainment. They were not shaving sweety.
But come on, there's so many other people who are
more recognizable and more influential that would have done the job.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
They pick her. Our grandfather played in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
Yeah, he won a Super Bowl and she's a forty
nine er. Who are you guys picking?

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Name them?

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I'm asking, like Sierra, I'm just going on, come on,
I'll sweet Sierra. I'm that's there.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
That's the same has a female female, It has to.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Be a female I mean, actually a sweety song? I see, Okay,
name me a Siera song?

Speaker 1 (12:02):
Goodies?

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Are you Ashley? Because because I.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Know they had one, I don't. I don't understand it.
I don't. I don't know the play. I don't know
the connection. But maybe I'm telling you the connection.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
She's a forty nine Ers fan and her grandfather played
in the NFL.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
She, by the way, also said, I come from a huge,
huge football family.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
All my uncles played in college. Her dad played in college.
The other day, she was in the She also had
McDonald's meal.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
That is true.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
Actually you say that she was in the UK doing
an interview I think last week, and she was playing dance,
which I was surprised. She was like, oh I love
this vibe scartel song. I'm like, what, I never saw
sweeting like that. To me, Sweetioles comes off like snobby
and bougie. She has this kind of like attitude about
it that I don't like. So I'm figuring, like why
she even doing it. She doesn't even seem like she'd
be happy to do it.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Well she is, And now on Monday night we're gonna
be listening a little differently, you know, sa Sweetie.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
All Right, I had told you guys this was coming.
It's official. Have we seen the pictures of the new
Apple phones?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Yes, okayin seventeen pros looking good to me. They have
a wide angle camera. Well anyways, the iPhone seventeen series
has arrived three times. The scratch protection, oh I like
to hear that. Yeah, better selfie camera and so they
say a longer battery life they always say. They also
introduced the super thin iPhone Air. It is being touted

(13:28):
as the thinnest iPhone ever. But remember the camera isn't
as good on that. Nobody's who wants that iPhone seventeen
and Air models are going to be available for pre
order coming up here on the twelfth. But I was
looking at the Pro and when the iPhone seventeen Pro,
when they show that the three different camera lenses on
the front, one is literally for the wide angle, now,

(13:50):
which I love.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
I love that it has that, and the quality must
be as good as the other one, you know it does. Yeah,
they said the long the longest lasting patter that they've done.
It's all and that's why and that's why mine sucks today.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
I know what they say.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Did they drop prices?

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I think I saw that the Pro was ten ninety
nine and the seventeen, like the rag Og was like
nine ninety nine, So it's not bad.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
It's almost the same. It's consistent of what we kind
of have been presented with the last couple of years. Yeah,
but still I don't think I'm due off for one.
I'll wait till the eighteen, That's.

Speaker 5 (14:23):
What I think.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
I think I might wait until that show too, But
I don't know because my batteries. I just unplugged it
and it's like half dead. That it's three things you
need to know for Wednesday, September the tenth, Ashanti is
going to be hanging out this Saturday night actually with
Trey Songs, Mario Lloyd, Bobby V.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
We're going to hook you up a tickets in at
both seven twenty and.

Speaker 6 (14:44):
The jam In Morning Show with DJ four and it's
saw a ticket Morning Clus is number one for hip
hop jam In ninety four five.

Speaker 3 (14:54):
One thing I love slash I hate about this show
is you guys never let me just like I just
can't live, can't get away with anything around here.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
During was it yesterday Beyond the Site? Nonchalantly?

Speaker 3 (15:11):
Yeah, so I very nonchalantly yesterday during Beyond the Swite
made a comment about how one of my friends hit
me up and was like, hey, this dude is trying
to talk to another girl.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I know, are they.

Speaker 8 (15:27):
Married?

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Because remember for him was like we.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Well, well, first off, let's backtrack. This person used to
be in radio, like a very prominent figure in radio.
Not anymore.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
The person who was asking you, the person who got caught.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
Person who got caught got so I basically got hit
up by like a friend of the friend who's talking
to him, and she was like, Ash, I know you
have radio insider info, what's good?

Speaker 2 (15:54):
But this guy. So I sent it to the one
that I know will know, which is Sazy, and oh yeah,
let me let me do a little deep dive.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
You get on the Facebook, and him and his wife
are just like at dancing at concerts.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
I knew that he's been married for a long time,
by the way, not a sarth, but I wanted to
confirm that, like they were still together. So as of
this summer they were together. They were going to events
and all stuff and seemingly look very happy. Yeah, so
I took a screenshot and send that back to you.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Yeah, and I sent that screenshot on its way, and I,
you know, listen this like it was because we were
talking about the tea app, and I was like, the
tea's gonna tea without the app.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yeah, I get why guys hate the app. Makes sense
to me.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
But the tea, the kettle will overflow with no matter
if there's the app or not. Like, look how quick
that was. Yep, here he is at Shakira with his wife.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Especially. That's exactly, especially if you're posting pictures at events
with people, like people are gonna know people. And then
also too, like it used to be a very prominent
person around here. So there's always gonna be a connection
like that about him. So people are going to talk you.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Used to work with him?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Was that a thing?

Speaker 3 (17:02):
A thing?

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Well, because there's because there's another person you used to
work with that you've talked about that you've had to
little work, you had a cover for.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
So the first one that you asked me about, Yes,
this has always been a thing of I remember being
like very young and like seeing and hearing about his
philandering and like not really truly being involved, but listening
to conversations when he'd be on the phone with people. Yeah,
so like this has been a thing about him going
back in the day where like it's even spilled over
into work events.

Speaker 5 (17:29):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
Yeah, let's also add in like, yeah, they were just
at the concert a month ago. Could they have broken
up a week ago?

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
And then he hit that other girl up. Maybe we don't,
we don't know. It's and you know what she does
with that information.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
That's now. The other guy that you asked me about
that I used to work with was out doing whatever
he was doing and this and that right, and he
would disappear for hours. One time I got a phone
call from his wife asking me where he was I
got put in the middle of that entire disaster, and
I had to lie to his why and saying, I
don't know, I thought he was going to play golf
and all this stuff. Turns out, no, he was having

(18:05):
a thing with somebody that we worked with, and I
knew of that. And then I knew of that, and
I messed up because when stuff went down at work,
I ended up mentioning that relationship to somebody else that
we worked with. Next thing, you know, I got around
and he calls me all upset, and I'm like, listen,
I understand I messed up, but at the same time,

(18:26):
you put me in a very uncomfortable situation with your family,
and like, I got put in the middle of everything.
So after that conversation, I blocked him off.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
That's when shut it down, and he was like, I'm
not going to be a kitchen bitch anymore.

Speaker 3 (18:38):
No, I'm not, because that that one you that really
hurt you because you you thought you had this person's
confidence and you did not.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
Yeah, And like I thought the person that I told
knew and that was the problem too. I thought that
they were just aware, but no, I guess not. So
I had to and I did apologize for like.

Speaker 4 (18:56):
No, it's not, but he got to you know, I
did that even with my eggs. One time I told
the some of somebody we knew mutually, one of my boys.
You know, she runs back and tells her friend because
they were kind of like kicking it together. Yeah, but
she runs back and tells her friend to be like
oh nah, so and so I was like, and then
Bro called me. It's like, Yo, who did you tell?
Because I knew I hadn't really like me telling my
ex is not telling anybody exactly.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
That's the I call him like, Yo, did you run
back and tell sons or something? She was like, yeah,
that's my friend.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
I'm like, I'm never telling you nothing again ever. In life,
gossip just feels so good. And to tell somebody it's
like when when you have something big, telling that person.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Feels so great.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Hey, that's the nine one one in them, you know
what I mean, that's that's.

Speaker 1 (19:39):
The air on the force.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah, get sing.

Speaker 3 (19:44):
I feel like I didn't really do I did what
I would expect any other girl to do for me, Like, hey,
I'm talking to Joey. I know, you know someone that
knows Joey got any info is Joey single?

Speaker 2 (19:57):
Is he a good dude?

Speaker 4 (19:58):
Like, that's just that's my job business. But at the time, no, bro,
we can't go off of social media anymore. No, We've
talked about that a thousand times.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
That's what I said.

Speaker 3 (20:06):
So I sent the photo and I said, listen, this
was from last month. They could have broken up yesterday.
I really don't know. And she wrote me back and
said they've been shit chatting for longer than that.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Yeah, photo, So I mean whatever, Yeah, he definitely has
a thing about it. This is going back forever he likes.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
That's that's that, and you don't know this person.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
So it's not really like, uh, it's not in the
wrong there, right, you're asking for your friends son.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
If you get asked a straight up question like hey,
do you know anything about Joe and you answered the question,
I don't think there's anything.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Wrong with that, right right. There was another.

Speaker 3 (20:47):
Forns like protect Joe at all calls, even protect just
my job business. So hey, Ashley, I know you know Joe.
He just started talking to me like is he married?
Does he have a girlfriend? And has a girlfriend, And
I work with him. I'm supposed to be like, I don't.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
Know because we don't. We really don't. He might act
and I.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Met his girlfriend yesterday, we read dinner.

Speaker 4 (21:07):
You never know, bro, you never know, no, you know,
because then the thing come out that the lady on
the jumble tron. Then the husband just come out and
say like like they were already on the out. Yes,
that's what he says. Why can't we believe him?

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Maybe he was trying to protect he was embarrassed.

Speaker 4 (21:24):
Oh, maybe he was telling the truth, which then goes
to show why they were so free. But that's not juicy.
It's juicy or when everybody's.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Y'all want to be messy, Yeah, what did you know?

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Next level juicy is walking into a man's home seeing
a photo on the fridge of him with his girlfriend
and being like, that's.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
His sister, even though he's black and she's white.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
Right, that's an that's an joke.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
If you don't get it, I know, seriously, six one
seven nine three one one nine four five. And we
don't have a ton of time, but six one seven
nine three one one four five. If you get a
call about Joe and you know Joe, and you you
know things about Joe, are we protecting Joe?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Are we being like, yeah, actually, Joe's budda sorry for you. Hi, everybody,
good morning. It's actually in the jam in morning show.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
I was not shocked that we are at odds against
this one because me and you like, yeah, we'll get
the info. Yeah, I mean, it's a running joke with
I'm sure with with my friends, and I'm sure with
all girls and their friends, like give me a man's name,
give me a minute or so, I'll have his social
and his grandma for you.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
And background I can tell you what his parents do
for work.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah, I have.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
This is how Santie is you Guys like Santi's the
girlfriend you need because one time I was like, I
need info on this person and he was like, oh,
I'll just pay He paid money for like this little
what is it?

Speaker 1 (22:56):
It's basically it's a background check program he paid. Do
you know why I still pay for that? It's twenty
five bucks a month. Twenty five anybody you need. But
it's crazy depth. You can go in to see how
much they owe on their mortgage still, and where these
apartments are, where these homes are, what cars they drive,
I phone them they've had in the past, what siblings
they're connected to, do.

Speaker 2 (23:15):
It's crazy, crazy, but he'll he'll go to the length.

Speaker 3 (23:18):
So we were saying, if somebody hits you up and
they're like, hey, just started talking to Joe, it's going well.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Like I know, you know Joe, you work with him.
How is he like?

Speaker 1 (23:27):
What do you know?

Speaker 3 (23:28):
And you have some like you got info you know
they're seeing somebody or whatever it is. Do you snitch
on Joe or do you protect Joe?

Speaker 1 (23:37):
I feel like you have to snitch, especially if it's
one of your.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
Friends, like you okay, so they know you know, and
so what text do you send back?

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Then?

Speaker 2 (23:43):
How would you respond to that?

Speaker 1 (23:44):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
All proceed with caution something, Proceed with caution right just
out in people, because again, I don't know y'all situation.
The only time I'm really stepping into invesigator, honestly, is
if it's somebody close to me, like my brother, my
kid or something like that. You know, I mean, like,
other than that, it's not my business. I leave it alone.
I don't know if you have to ask. This's a
problem already. I saw him with another female last night.

(24:08):
They were kissing, but they could be friends. Proceed with custu.
We got this talk back.

Speaker 9 (24:13):
Good morning, Jeering crew. I know you guys are just
talking about you know, infidelity and like people asking you
questions about oh do you know this person? What can
you tell me about that type of thing? Listen, I
don't lie, right, I'm a type person who doesn't lie,
because again, when you lie to somebody, you take away
their ability to choose right. So people in no situations right,

(24:34):
if you don't give them all the information, they're gonna
move on and they won't be able to make correct
decisions because you're lying to them.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Don't take what.

Speaker 5 (24:41):
People right to you.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
But why are we taking on that responsibility to us?

Speaker 3 (24:46):
No?

Speaker 1 (24:46):
I don't need it. To take it back, try to
take it back. I don't want it. I don't want
that responsibility. Take it back. Don't ask me like that.
You got to ask that question, then you already know
there's an issue, but you don't even feel the excitement
of like maybe like somebody's cheating or something.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
I see. No, I don't feel that.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
You don't feel because I like, oh my god, what's happening?

Speaker 2 (25:07):
I always am like damn because now I gotta yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Like when you when I asked Santi, hey, do you
think this guy's still married, and he sent back the picture.

Speaker 1 (25:17):
I was like, damn, let it.

Speaker 6 (25:21):
Go, especially in the morning show with teaching Foreign and.

Speaker 7 (25:26):
Santi when you need to know, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags you haven't any.

Speaker 3 (25:35):
Wore Vive Wednesday, September tenth. I'm including this tale because
I had no idea that Miguel even had a kid, Like,
did you guys know that? No?

Speaker 1 (25:47):
Was this is not that I think about it.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
No, So Miguel posts that he and his partner Margaret
were celebrating their kids.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
Wait for it, first birthday.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Oh sneaky, like a whole year.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Maybe. I mean, I like Miguel.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
I'm not clocking him like that, and I don't know
his every move, so maybe this was already a thing.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
But he said, our baby turned one today. Happy birthday, Angelito.
We love you so much. We're so proud of you.
We're so honored that you chose us to be parents.
I love that line. People love you. Isn't that thanks
for choosing me? Papa wrote you a song. I hope
it reminds you of how loved you are.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Maybe it's because he hasn't been in the news. I
was of late a lot, so maybe it was.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Miguel really does he really does. He's like one of
those artists where they never breached they were like at
that they were so close but never really got to
like a Drake status or anything like that. But still
very popular, super nice guy. I've met him, good looking
guy to Yeah, I just really wonder was.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
This like a secret baby.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Probably his partner's name is Margaret Zang, so I don't
know if she's celebri not too, but there you have it.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
He should buy the ring though, Like, what are you
waiting for? Miguel like married partner?

Speaker 4 (27:01):
This is why he stays away from smart smart man,
you thought you were gonna have a child?

Speaker 2 (27:11):
All right? GUARDI b is gearing up for her next big.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
Tour, which we all giggle about because we're like, well,
she's pregnant.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
I don't care what she says, and.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
That means the baby's gonna come whatever, how it will
all work out, we shall see. But she was chit
chatting with Billboard about what the show would look like.

Speaker 10 (27:32):
I feel like, I know I'm a good performer. I mean,
I mean, I was a stripper, but I feel like
my personal tour is not going to be like any
of the performances that I ever have, from the from
the esthetic, from the look, even from the way I perform.
Because even when I rehearsed for a show, I rehearsed

(27:52):
for like a week, maybe two weeks. But I'm gonna
be rehearsing for a month.

Speaker 3 (27:57):
She also went on to say that she cannot perform
like Beyonce, and her fans know that she has asthma,
so she will be taking water breaks and Haler works great. Listen,
she needs her water breaks. And she said her fans
know that, and they understand.

Speaker 4 (28:11):
That about her setting us up for the for the
Okie Dough because she's gonna be there, probably not moving
around month, sitting throw So she's just setting up the
play because she knows with that, you can't be X
amount of months pregnant jumping around the stage.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
You gotta chill. Sometimes you're gonna be tired. She was
sleeping in court, Yes, she really was.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Well, she's pregnant, That's what I'm saying. She's been making
the rounds. By the way.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
She sat down with Jennifer Hudson and said she one
hundred percent plans on having more kids.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
Here's why.

Speaker 10 (28:39):
The more kids who have, the less of a possibility
you go to like a home.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
One of them is gonna white my butt.

Speaker 11 (28:46):
One of them is gonna white my butt.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
You know I didn't true, I did not know this
was a thing.

Speaker 3 (28:51):
I'm sorry for you four, but you know, they say
you should have girls because the girls. For like, this
is like an old wives tale that once you have girls,
the girls always take care of their.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Parents in the y. Yeah, you got good sounds though
you might have a chance. You might have a chance.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
They don't give a damn. I'm gonna be the old
people's home.

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Each other right home now home, you go.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Imagine wiping your parents butt like that must be the worst.
Like I know, it has to be done, if asked
to be done. But a man, that's tough.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah, it's tough. Yeah, the circle of life is the time.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
Yeah. Uh Forarn also told me this morning that Cardi
plans on going on the road yes to sell her CDs.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Here are you here?

Speaker 12 (29:34):
You go to the Imaginary Players music videos. Atlantic Records
have done some deduction to my album's budget. So the
new check has arrived and been received and the new
budget is fifty dollars.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
So those are the fact that the.

Speaker 11 (29:52):
Budget is fifty dollars for my album, I have to
go on the road and sell the CDs and by
almost myself. So I'm here to tell you that I
might be going to your city next week starting Friday.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Whoever from her team came up with this campaign of
Cardi acting like she has no money and that she
has to go out on the streets, like grasp, it's
so smart, Like after I even thinking about that, pretending
like Atlantic gave her fifty bucks to promo her at
like it was such a smart call. I don't know
who made it for her, but that person's a keeper.
Because seeing Cardy just out on.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
The streets like holding out her CD like please buy
is it had me in tears.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
I was hoping she was gonna make it the ball
some But she's going to Long Island, PA on New
York again, ATL Houston and then Long Beach. But yeah,
they're pretty much meet and greets where she's hustling these
joints out the trunk Old school Way like.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Like super accessible. She's right out in the street.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Yeah, so she's gonna be out there with vinyl and CDs.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
You can go talk to ask all kinds of questions
and don't ask if she's pregnant because she might chop
your head off. But other than that, yeah, I mean
you get to stand next to quality beach, she's mad cool.
I mean you buy CD. I'm sure she's going to
be doing pictures in the.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
Whole nine people do with CDs.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Nothing like.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
Kids they have him in your car, Like does the
portion have a CD play?

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Not anymore.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
But the young, the young kids are started to buy
like vinyl players and old CD players, like they started
to go back into that era like young young youngest
nineteen years old and under. They started to kind of
like get it into that collectible thing.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
I don't know about you guys, I don't know how
cool you were in high school, but I had that
thing in my trunk where you could put seven CDs
and that was it was that.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
It wasn't when we got when I got a call
that had it in the dash woah wow.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
I had to go to the trunk to do it.
But I loved it so much, all right.

Speaker 3 (31:42):
It Lastly, the beef continues Drake Verse Kai Sonnat Now
everything to yourself.

Speaker 2 (31:47):
Why what happened with you?

Speaker 3 (31:48):
The two of them, Drake releasing new music, Kai reviewing
said music and said quote, Drake's new music is.

Speaker 2 (31:56):
Ass and Drake clearly got wind of it. We knew
he would.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Kai said it on a live stream, and it was
funny the way it kind of worked out. I noticed
that Drake had posted and it was a carousel. So
I'm just clicking through the photos, just swipe, swipe, swiping,
and then all of a sudden, I get to a
photo that is just nose up of Kaye sin Not
and his hair is it's not looking good. He said,

(32:23):
this man's gonna get me when I need a retwist.
And he was so like taken aback by it that
on his life. He tried to call Drake.

Speaker 8 (32:38):
Where you get this from? I'm so like that, I'm
calling him on the spot. I'm calling him right now.
I'm so like that. I'm calling him right now. It's
not reg Is he out there?

Speaker 3 (32:47):
You what type?

Speaker 8 (32:53):
He didn't blop me. This doesn't mean blocked. Oh I
got face out of me. I gotta face. I'm gonna
face some audio human no answer, no answer.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
But he's in Europe right I guess how many times.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Must we say he's sensitive man?

Speaker 1 (33:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (33:11):
Yeah, And if Kay is your guy, like, why are
you even like trying to shade him like that? Like
if not, everybody's gonna love your music. That's what Drake
needs to understanding.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
I thought this was a shade, but like a funny shade,
like not too shad, but a shade for sure.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
And you throw it up on your like like permanently,
like until you delete it. It's not on your story
like so reoy too, way about that?

Speaker 3 (33:31):
Because later on Kai is talking to because you know,
he lives in a house with all of his best
friends and his one boy comes in the room and
he's like, I'm not talking to you.

Speaker 2 (33:39):
You liked the post, I'm not talking to you.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
You literally this post Like it's not right, but yes,
a shade, nonetheless, I want it. It kind of gave
me like I knew it was coming, Like maybe it
was all in Jess, like they had a conversation. I
don't know, but he tried to call no answer. And
Drake is in Europe. He's in Paris, so the time
changes in this there sleeping h I'm adding a fourth thing.

(34:03):
This is for DJ Forn what guess who's in New
Hampshire right now? I almost I almost collapsed when I
saw this this morning.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
I know it's not Tori Well God, no, he's in jail.

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Uh Courtney Kardashian, what yeah, your girl?

Speaker 3 (34:18):
She's with Travis Barker. They're in Lake Winnipesake. I don't
know what the hell they're doing.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
Maybe Blank is doing a show up there. There's a
venue up there in Guildford till maybe that is Oh.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
Okay, that would make a lot more sense because I'm like,
what is she leaf peeping?

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Is that is the season?

Speaker 5 (34:31):
Yet?

Speaker 2 (34:32):
No, little ely little early. All right, there is four.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
Things you need to know for Wednesday, September the tenth.
We're gonna do round one of Ashanti right here. Six
one seven, nine three one one nine four five Trey Songs, Mario, Lloyd,
Bobby V. It's called Girls Night Out. The ladies love
all of them. Hopefully you'll be there. Six one, seven,
nine three one twenty five Can you.

Speaker 6 (34:52):
Have Lucky and the Gym? In Morning Show with d
J Foreign It's Saunty Morning.

Speaker 7 (34:58):
Claus's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
Hi guys, good morning.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
You know, I'm having a moment here because I'm thinking
back to one of our very first conversations about Karen
Reid and about what happened in Canton.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
And that was some time ago.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Yeah, some time ago, our first conversation, and we made
it very clear, Listen, do we like to go.

Speaker 2 (35:25):
Home after the show and watch a crime doc here
and there?

Speaker 1 (35:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (35:29):
Do we love crime?

Speaker 3 (35:30):
Show? Is the Wire one of the greatest shows of
all time? Sure, But we weren't like crime aficionados. Okay,
like we weren't not up here acting like we knew everything.
We were kind of taking in all the information just
like everybody else was. But we got our first chunk
of information from a specific somebody. And I remember getting

(35:51):
that blog sent to me. The thing was like sixteen pages,
and I remember my friend said it to me and
she was like, you have to read this, Like what
the hell is going on with this lady named Karen Reid?
She's like, read this turtle boy article. And then we
talked about it and then it turned into such a thing.
And one thing I really remember about our first couple
convos is you guys are friends our listeners calling us

(36:15):
and being like I didn't know any of this was
going on, but then you guys just got so invested
like all of New England, like honestly, like all of
the world at this point, and we have said it
from the beginning, we don't know who Karen Reid is.
If it's not for Turtle Boy, that's I mean, that
is what it is. And I don't that's not a

(36:37):
slight to anybody. That's just that's just the facts for us.
And I know, because I know you guys, there's a
huge chunk of you being like, who is Turtle Boy?
Is he a man that is a grown up that
owns turtles? Like I don't don't, we don't understand. But
for those of you that got heavy invested in this,
you know exactly who he is. What a literal full
circle moment for.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Us, Aidan Kearny is joining us on the show Turtle
Boy on JAM in ninety four or five. You never
saw it? Comment you never saw it? Comment Good morning,
how you guys doing, Thanks for having me listen. We're
pumped up. I think my first question has to be
who are you?

Speaker 3 (37:17):
Because like I said, I think there's a good chunk
of our audience that genuinely doesn't know they they knew
their their Karen Reid info by listening to our show.
That was their only outlet. Obviously we have reference to you.
I don't think crime blogger is enough anymore. I think
you're something more than that to a lot of people.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
So how would you describe what.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
You do for a living?

Speaker 5 (37:40):
Well, yeah, I'm there, wear several hats, and I'm an
award winning journalist. I'm an activist and satirist. I guess
I have a show where I make people ask and
entertain you for three and a half hours on Tuesday
and Saturday night. So you know I do all those things.
But you know, I was a journalist for like the
last ten or eleven years doing this, and this isn't

(38:01):
the first major story I've broken, but it's certainly the
biggest and the most attention.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Yes, so I think we.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Should go back in time because I'm fairly certain everybody
probably has the same question. I'm sure you've been asked
in a million times. What was the very first tidbit
of information you got about Karen Reid and John O'Keefe
and what happened at thirty fair View that you were like,
what the hell is this what is going on? What
was that very first piece of information that you thought

(38:28):
to yourself, Well, now I have to write a seventeen
page blog because something is off here.

Speaker 5 (38:33):
Well, there's two things. Number one was the Google search
at two twenty seven by Jennifer Gabe, and the other
was the dog bites on John's arm. You know. One
of them showed that he wasn't in it by car,
that would be the dog bites, right, and then he
was inside the house. The other showed that this is
actually much more dastardly and that this is a concerted
effort to hide the fact that somebody else actually killed

(38:54):
John O. Keefe.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
And correct me if I'm wrong. Weren't you also the
one that found the plow driver?

Speaker 5 (39:02):
I didn't find him. I Karen Reid's PI found him.
I knew about him, but I did not. I mean,
my relationship with Karen Reid was one where you know,
she gave me something off the record I couldn't report it,
and that it was one of those things. And so
I said, well, what if I just go find the
plow driver on my own, independent of her? And so
I went down to the DPW. I hounded there. I

(39:25):
did on video. I posted me kind of asking people
there can I speak with the plow driver PLoud thirty
four fear of You road that night to gave me
the run around? And I eventually just stayed at it
until I found Lucky himself and got him on the
phone and we did an interview. He's actually really nice.
We spoke for about ten minutes and he told me
everything that he had told Karen Reid's private investigator. So

(39:45):
I had a tip about him. I knew of the
existence of him, but I couldn't report on him until
I had spoken to myself.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Did you start this story about Karen years ago because
it was something that you did independently, or did she
reach out to you and say, hey, like I need
your help, like look at what's going on.

Speaker 5 (40:05):
So that's a really important distinction, because a lot of people,
you know, the haters, I guess, would would suggest that
Karen Reid is the pop master pulled my strings, that
you got me to do this. It's completely untrue. I
had no idea who Karen Reid was. I had no
relationship with her. She wasn't feeding me anything. I saw
this story, I thought it was outrageous and I made
a post on April seventeenth saying that I was looking

(40:26):
into this murder of a Boston police officer in Canton
because I believe there was more to it, And I wrote,
you know, my part one story is up till like
three thirty in the morning that night writing that, Like
you said, it was a million pages long, and I
had spoken through spoken to a friend of hers named Natalie,
a former friend who's actually a witness now it's a turncoat,

(40:46):
and I got, you know, she kind of gave me
pictures of some of these people because I didn't know
what there's so many names, so many I'm like, I
don't know what people look like. Can you tell me?

Speaker 2 (40:55):
We had a literal graph in Fridays, like a diagram.
I mean, it's crazy.

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Yeah, there's a lot of feet, and you know, I
can't wait to forget about the existence of all these
people over time. I don't know, I had a lover happened,
but they're my life for like two and a half years,
studying these people. And but yeah, so no, Caroen, we
did not you know, see me this or whatever. This story.
I took it up on my own after I read
Alan Jackson's public court documents and I kind of read

(41:25):
it all and I determined on my own, without ever
speaking to her, that I believe she was innocent and
I believe somebody else is responsible for the death of
johnath Hoef.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
And even hearing you say that is so crazy to me,
because I mean, if we really boil it down, you
went to jail for this woman, And I think that's
why it's hard, and I think that's why it's hard
for people to be like, wait a second, So he
had no affiliation with her, no relationship with her, didn't
know her. Was like, wait, something is off here. I'm

(41:54):
going to lose time away from my kids for her?

Speaker 5 (41:58):
Yeah, wh why? I mean, it's not just for her though,
it's for everyone. Like we can't live in a society
where the police and dis attorney's offices are allowed to
frame innocent people from murder and protect and not go
after the people who murdered a Boston police officer, Like
I'm not doing this for Canry and I'm doing this

(42:18):
for John O'Keefe. John Key was murdered and it's quite
obvious by looking at his injuries that he wasn't hit
by a car, which means someone else killed him, and
it's just so obvious to everybody. And you know, I mean,
people overwhelmingly believed Karen he was innocent, not because I'm
so charming, but because of the autopsy pictures and a
whole bunch of other evidence that shows that John O'Keeffe

(42:39):
went inside that house and uh, you know, it was
attacked by a dog and several people. So yeah, I mean,
I didn't know I was gonna go to jail when
I first started writing, but that wasn't the plan. You know,
I didn't do this.

Speaker 3 (42:51):
Okay, did you have but did you have anybody in
your family being like let it go, like we you
can't be doing this anywhere, you can't be going and
you have to stop, or was everybody like, listen, this
has to be done. Unfortunately you're the one to do it,
but it has to be done.

Speaker 5 (43:11):
Oh the former, you know, I mean for sure, Like,
of course, I mean, I'm a dad first, you know,
I have responsibilities. I can't afford to go to jail
for sixty days. That's something it isn't something I can
afford to do. You know, it's extremely burdensome on you know,
my family. Luckily, I have a big family. I'm the
oldest seven kids, so like, I have a lot of
brothers and sisters around, aunties and uncles that could help

(43:32):
pick up the slack kind of while I was gone.
But that's an unfair burden to put on them. So
I realized, like, this affects more than just me, So
I have to be very careful, you know how I am, Like,
it's not they can't throw you in jail for just
reporting on it, but they could. You know that They've
said that it's witness intimidation when I go up to
these people and I ask them questions, and that's so
I've just stayed away from these people, Like that's the

(43:53):
best I could. I'm like, if that's what got me
in trouble, fine, I'll just stay away from these people.
I can continue to do my show, I can continue
to to write about this then, but I'll just stay
away from these people since they're so sensitive and their
feelings get hurt every time you ask them a question.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
I heard a rumor that while you were in jail
and you when you were able to speak to your kids,
you just told them you were on a work trip.

Speaker 1 (44:14):
Was that made up?

Speaker 2 (44:15):
Or is that how you come out.

Speaker 5 (44:16):
That's true. That's true, that's you know, And I debated that.
You know, when I first went away, I'm like, because
obviously you're like, I talked to my mother and I'm like,
talked about getting them up there to see me. But
then I'm like, I thought the better of that within
a day or two. I'm like, I'd never want them
to see me like this. I never want them to
go through like barbed wire fencing in security and see
me in orange, like that's something they'll never forget, you know.

(44:38):
So whereas if I just say that I'm away for work,
you know, or something like that, I mean, they'll forget
about that a few years from now. They went' dad
went away in a work trip. But you know, you
bring them to a jail, that's an experience they're never
gonna forget.

Speaker 2 (44:48):
No, No, they're they're they're certainly not. But you don't
regret it.

Speaker 5 (44:55):
I mean, I guess I do grit on the jail.
I wish, I wish I never happened, But yeah, you know,
I don't regret it was the right thing to do.
Everything I did did I believe was the moral and
ethical thing to do. And because I firmly, firmly believed
that John O'Keeffe was beaten to death inside Brian Alberts House.
So you know, if you're not outraged by that enough

(45:17):
to take to the streets that the government can do
this to people, then you know I'm dishonored. I mean
I was a history teacher. I used to admire people
and teach about people who saw what they believed is
something wrong with our society, wrong with our government, and
they took to the streets and they did something about it,
often at times at their own risk, of their own liberty,

(45:39):
you know, losing it. Like I'm not Marvelous King or
anything like that, are George Washington. But these are people
that I admire, and these are the people that we
learn about in school. Who you know, what did they
teach us that sometimes there's things that are more important
than just us, that you have to stand up and
take a fight against it. And that's why I did
what I did.

Speaker 3 (45:54):
Can somebody sit at the Thanksgiving table at the Kearny
House who.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Doesn't believe that Karen Reid is innocent.

Speaker 5 (46:05):
They can try. I mean, it's not gonna work out
well for them. I wouldn't recommend it. But yeah, no,
to answer your question, there isn't a single person in
my family who believes Karen Reid is guilty, even the
people who casually follow and don't know it at all,
like they know me from like living with me for
you know, the last forty three years that they know that.

(46:25):
I wouldn't take something up so passionately if it wasn't true,
like I would not. I would bet the house on
Karen readinoscence. I've never felt more sure of anything in
my entire life, So I wouldn't, you know, because if
I was wrong about this right then I'd be opening
myself up to defamation suits, liable suits. None of those
have happened, by the way, I mean, the trial's been
over three months. I kept hearing, Oh, you're gonna get

(46:47):
sued by these people you call the murderers. You did this.
I checked the mailbox every day. I don't know when
the losses come. Maybe they could fill me in.

Speaker 3 (46:54):
Are you yeah, by the way, current day right now
as we speak, are you in any legal troubles?

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Do we have anything pending?

Speaker 5 (47:01):
Oh? Yeah, I mean on Daleen facing one hundred and
five years in jail right now? You know, I still
have all these open selony cases, although some of them
are going to go away because funny story, one of
the alleged victim or witnesses or whatever, she launched a
lawsuit yesterday, two days ago against Brian Tully, who was
the lead investigator in my case, and the special prosecutor,

(47:23):
Robert Cosgrove. So they now have a conflict of interest
and they may have to step down. So I may
have inadvertently knocked out a couple of them.

Speaker 2 (47:30):
But we'll say, oh on a random Tuesday or Monday, yes,
oh wow.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
So you know, back back in my high school days
that the big thing was status is on Facebook?

Speaker 2 (47:42):
What are people's relationship statuses?

Speaker 3 (47:43):
If I were to put up a relationship status between
you and Karen Reid, I at this moment feel like
i'd probably put it's complicated.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
I know that, Okay.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
I know that she did this interview, and there was
a lot of back and forth, especially with fans of you,
like how does Karen stew a sit down with how
we car and not with you. We had a huge
discussion about it because again, and and this isn't taking
anything away from anybody, but I personally and everyone on
this show.

Speaker 2 (48:14):
I don't know who Karen Reid is without you. That's
just what it is. So you feeling slided by any means.

Speaker 3 (48:20):
To me made perfect sense because you kind of, you know,
open this thing up for a lot of people here
in New England. Did you in fact feel a type
of way when you saw that she was doing this interview?

Speaker 5 (48:32):
I mean, sure it would have been nice to get
the first interview with Karen read. I do feel like
I earned it. But she's a grown woman. She can
make whatever decision she wants to make. And obviously you
saw the you know, the reaction to it. Not for me,
I mean I didn't say anything about it, but other
you know, people, supporters of mine and if Karen you
know a lot of them were kind of split on
this about whether or not that was disrespectful or whatever.

(48:54):
You know, I'm not to take to wine. So if
she doesn't want to come on my show, she doesn't
have to come on my show. I mean, personally, if
the roles are reversed and I was in her shoes,
I'd absolutely do it. But that's some of us view
the world differently.

Speaker 2 (49:07):
And did you ever get an answer? Did you ask her?

Speaker 5 (49:10):
Why did I ask her why, Yeah, I did, and
she basically, I mean, it's just a different She've viewsed
this relationship differently than I do. Basically, that about who
helped you out in this relationship, and I'll just leave
it at that.

Speaker 4 (49:25):
Cannot ask if she if she does a run let's say,
like five ten interviews, you know, whatever it is. Is
there any a time that you're not going to welcome
onto the show? Is that time where you just be like,
you know what, even if you want to come now,
it's all good.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
I'm straight.

Speaker 3 (49:39):
You know.

Speaker 5 (49:40):
It's like I would never say no to an interview
if she wants to, but I don't beg. You know,
I have too much pride to beg. And so she
if she wants to come on, great, I'll have her on.
Of course, I'll have her on. But you know, at
the same time, it's like I'm not going knocking down
her door saying please come on my show.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
You know.

Speaker 5 (49:55):
It's like, you know, if she wants to, she can.
She doesn't, that's fine too.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
I don't really know what it is that we're missing,
and I'm not asking you to say, but I just
I find that answer of yours very interesting because her
viewing things any other way other than being thankful to you.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
I is Listen, I'm assuming that Karen views this thing
that she helped him out more than he helped her.
Is that what it is?

Speaker 3 (50:20):
You know?

Speaker 5 (50:21):
I mean, I've certainly you know, made money off of
this and whatever helped my professional career doing this, and yeah,
maybe she sees it that way.

Speaker 3 (50:27):
I guess what at the end of the day, when
you wrote that article at three thirty in the morning
and went to jail and missed time from you. Whatever, Listen,
I'm not gonna it's it is what it is. You
answer the question now. Now I want to get to
what I really want to know. What are you talking
to bet Affleck about?

Speaker 2 (50:43):
Is he as handsome? Now, don't you? Is he as
handsome in person as he is on the big screen?

Speaker 3 (50:50):
You know?

Speaker 1 (50:50):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (50:52):
Yeah, I mean he looks like he doesn't more homely
when I saw he like that, he was more of
a regular guy, you know, like the came across.

Speaker 3 (51:03):
Affleck owns a production company he's Was that happenstance or
was that a meeting?

Speaker 5 (51:09):
I can't talk about it, though, like you know, I
wish I could talk. Yeah, I mean the.

Speaker 1 (51:15):
Answers there, which is a good thing. So there's gonna
be some sort of story about you or about this
case coming down the pipeline here and and.

Speaker 2 (51:21):
By the way, there is there is a movie coming out.

Speaker 5 (51:23):
I'll put it that there is a movie coming out
sometime probably within the next hopefully eighteen months. We're doing
a documentary that should be out in a few months.
And then h working with a company called Spelling Pictures
I'm under contract with and we are doing a Hollywood movie.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
Uh and uh.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
We are actively shopping around for directors and actors to
play various roles in the movie.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Well we're available.

Speaker 3 (51:46):
If you you know, there's a scene where someone's in
a car and they're listening to a radio station.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
You know you know who to call ha ha.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
But no, seriously, I mean listen, we we talked about
this in length and just kind of where you guys
are at now and how this all kind of played out.
But I think that to me is the biggest thing
is is that you know, no matter what kind of
quote celebrity you've gotten from this, I really do believe
that you were kind of the one who put her

(52:14):
name at dinner tables everywhere I mean you should see
some of my my group chats were literally called turtle
Boy in the very beginning because we were like, what
is this?

Speaker 2 (52:23):
What is this article? I do have but one last question.

Speaker 3 (52:27):
You you know, you call yourself an investigative journalist, and
I'm sure you you might even know the answer to this.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
Where is Brian Higgins?

Speaker 3 (52:38):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (52:39):
I mean last time I saw Brian Higgins, he was
running after me on the fourth of July like a rhino,
running down the street. He lives down He lives down
in the Cape, down in Sandwich. No, that's his neighbor's house,
not his house. So there was little confusion there. His
neighbors have sold their house, which I don't blame them
if wanting to get away from him. He's so awkward.

(53:00):
But uh yeah, Like I went down there and we
were just in the neighborhood, drove by and he live
in a cul de sac and I'm in the passenger
seat and we go buy his house and there he
is on the front lot and he sees me and
I'm like, oh great, so we do it. There's cul
de sac at the end the street. We run, we
drive back past this house and now he's like on
the street basically with his phone out yelling get the

(53:22):
f out of here, and he chases after the car
like a madman, like a hungry rhino, and uh we
we just got out of there. So that was my
one experience with Brian Hagan.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
Was that this jill I horse this Wow. So he's
still okay interesting?

Speaker 5 (53:37):
Oh yeah, he put the video of him running after me.
He's on on the twitch swat so.

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Uh, all right, find it there by the way. Okay,
this really is my last friend. Do you drive the
speed limit when you're in Canton?

Speaker 2 (53:49):
Do you go to Canton? Are you can?

Speaker 5 (53:52):
Well, I haven't been in a while, and question Yeah, yeah,
I mean half that town has a restraining order on me,
so I can't because you know, Chris Albert is very
scared of me, this grown man counselectman. He gets very
scared when I come anywhere near his mediocre pizza shop.
So I try to give Chris his safe space and
stay out of camp as much as I can.

Speaker 3 (54:12):
Yeah, no drinks at the Winterfall for you. I would
I would stay far away. Aiden Kenny, thank you so
much for coming on the show. I think we could
do this for a long time. Masaudi's telling me we
got to wrap it up again. Appreciate you, and I'll
be I'll be looking.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
For the movie. You know, we'll be watching.

Speaker 5 (54:25):
All right.

Speaker 2 (54:26):
Thanks for joining me.

Speaker 1 (54:27):
Guys, appreciate all right, by bye.

Speaker 2 (54:31):
Even things aren't good between them.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
I understand that. Like, even if he made a ton
of cash, fine, But at the end of the day,
if it wasn't for him, this thing would not have
ended the way it did.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
Is there anybody who's in disagreement with that? Like, is
that anybody who says that, no, it wasn't Turtle Boys.

Speaker 2 (54:47):
Yeah, her name is Karen Reid. You yes, you just
said it, Karen Reid. Have you missed any events?

Speaker 1 (54:55):
Go to the pod.

Speaker 3 (54:56):
We'll get it up down the free iHeartRadio apps, arch A, SHLW.

Speaker 2 (54:59):
