Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh man, guys, wake it up, Wake it up. We're moving,
it's happening. It's Wednesday. If I think too much about
the fact that in two days I'll be saying good
morning from Rockefellers in Salem, I get puky, So I
don't like to think about it. But I wanted to
(00:20):
tell you this little story that brought me a little
bit of solace last night. Girl writes me, and she's like, listen,
I get it. You're worried no one's gonna show up,
because obviously that would be terrible, right, Like, you.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Know you're gonna have the show and there's you're talking
to your mother.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
It's the one person coming. She's like, but I live
in Florida and I listen to the show every morning.
I love you and Santi so much. She's like, I
all week have had in all the travel apps a
flight to come home, because that is how bad I
want to complize her. She goes, I can't do it
because it's like six hundred or seven hundred bucks, and
she's like, it's just nuts. But she goes, if I'm
even having a thought of I'm gonna put it in
(00:58):
my travel app and maybe fly home for it.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
She's like, there will be more than four people there.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
Yeah, Like I think they'll definitely be more than four.
I think for sure. I like, you know, in my mind,
I was thinking maybe twenty to thirty, and I think
that's like a good number. But I think from what
we're feeling is going to be more. From what we're
receiving and.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Hearing, yeah, I would take twenty, but even twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Thirty, that's a decent amount. I like, you just watch.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yes to get up at our hour, Yeah is yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:29):
And again I think we compare it to Turkey Toss,
which has been around for so long. I remember doing
Turkey Toss when I was maybe like twenty one years old,
still in college and like helping out, So it's been
around for that.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
And we also can't compare it to Turkey Toss because
it's not an event in a sense of like there's
no competition happening where an entire school is going to
come support, because that's already hundreds from each school of
kids supporting their teams.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
This is not like that.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
But I will say the difference between this and Turkey
Toss is that we'll we're more interactive with the people
that will be there, and we're also still putting on
a show. It's not just about throwing a turkey in
there and catching it. We're interacting the toss it like
it's entertaining, but at the same time like we're actually
doing what we do here just.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
There right and in it's not even like there as
in like an It's in the most iconic place to
be during this time, which is just so exciting. And
I love that a lot of people are, you know,
turning it into a day thing. They're going to go
hang out and Salem after they kick it at the show.
Some of my friends are coming, so we at least
have that going. Yeah, I think they know that I
(02:33):
am just not well.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
And the best part about that is that you're claiming
you're not going to drink until ten o'clock.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
If your friends so tired of you saying this, it's friends,
of it's orange juice.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
It's not armed, show yourself in respect, don't smell it.
But it's orange juice. Anyways, what's up with you?
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Nothing? I had basketball last time with my daughters, and
like we do this rotating thing where.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Like have you told everybody?
Speaker 3 (02:55):
I haven't told anybody.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
You can't just say it nonchalantly.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
I had basketball, so I am a officially the middle
school basketball coach for my for the girls, You're welcome,
you thank you because they called you for a reference.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
And I have never had to lie harder in my literal.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Life most of the time. But last night I went
to the AAU practice just because the head varsity coach
who kind of designed the whole system, so I was
shadowing herency. Now she runs a practice and stuff like that.
But what we do as parents we rotate, so one group,
one parent brings like three groups of girls. So last
(03:35):
night I had seven girls in.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
The car brings somewhere to see this to watch.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Because sorry I'm explaining.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
This, I don't even know where I'm at right now.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
So half the team is on this AAU team. So
we rotate. One parent brings them on Tuesday nights and
one on Thursday nights, and the rotation seven of them,
all seven them. So nobody's going to every single practice.
So we it's just a carpool. I should have said
that from the beginning it'd be nice. So we carpool
and last night was was my night. So I had
seven girls driving them up to basketball.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
Got it.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
But then I also got to watch the basketball team,
so which was really good. Yeah, and coaching basketball is
different than anything I'm familiar with, but it's a lot
of fun. I'm excited the whole. Like atmosphere and practice
is different than when I'm used to because I've played
baseball my entire life. But the but but basketball practice
in the game seems a lot more.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Have you had your own first practice by yourself.
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I have not. That's not till next next month, Okay,
But I was just like, because, like, here's the thing.
I assume that you probably know this to running a
certain offenses specific to each coach in each program. So
I'm learning back exactly.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
And what they like is if you teach them when
they're younger, that by the time they get to high
school they'll.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Kind of have an understanding.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
And that's exactly because the varsity coach is there and
she runs this team offense.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Is she running over there?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
I don't know what it's called. The police, I don't
do some of them. Sorry, she runs the triangle.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
These kids, these kids are in trouble.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
We practice the best player on the team.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
But yeah, yeah, for all sports us, Well, I'll help
you draw up a few practices. They love the three
on two two on one drill. That's always that's their favorite.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
That's what we were doing last night. They were calling
it eleven ma'am. But in theory it's the same thing.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Yeah, three on two, two on one.
Speaker 1 (05:12):
It really likes that drill. I mean, listen, we'll get
something up nice for you. Well, make you look so
nice smart, all right, yeah, but could you imagine guys?
I answered this random call from from New Hampshire and
they're like, can we ask you a little bit about
the character of Santi Giulium, Like how much time do
you have any time.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
Morning show?
Speaker 4 (05:31):
And you need to know? We got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags. She haven't any more five.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
Wednesday, October twenty second, and police and Vermont are asking
for our help, the public's help to track down a
missing Middlebury College student. She was last seen on campus
Friday night. Her dad reported her missing. I believe it
was Sunday. She was last spotted Friday, so let's just
(06:02):
go through the weekend. She was seen Friday around nine pm.
Dad gets worried on Sunday, calls the cops.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
He's like, something's going on.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
She's missing and now here we are on Wednesday, and unfortunately,
I don't have any good news for you.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
The Middlebury vice presidents.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Then, we've been in touch with the students' family and
friends to offer support and learn all we can about
the student's recent activities and whereabouts. She's five eleven, one
hundred and sixty pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
She's a double major from California in computer science and statistics.
She's also a former student athlete who used to compete
on these swimming and diving team.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
I've read many articles about this.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I've started to get invested, and a lot of times
in the articles I see the police in that area saying, hey, listen,
her name's Leah. If for some reason, you know you're
okay and you're seeing all these headlines and that people
are looking for you and you're worried, like I don't
want to get in any trouble because I was meeting
up with a friend and my you know, whatever the case,
please come forward.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
Not going to be in any trouble. We just want
to make sure that you are okay.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
When they say stuff like that. It gives you the
feeling like she ran away or something like that. But
then you think about a college to do that that
age gone missing, then you get the other feeling, which
is not good.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
Also, they call this school a little ivy.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
There are some schools that don't make the cut of
an IVY League school, but they're you know, they're close,
and so you know, you get into a school like that.
She's a double major in computer science and statistics. You
would think that she would have the wherewithal to be like, Okay, yeah,
I did go meet up with friends. Maybe my dad
thought something was wrong. I should but sometimes in situations
like this, people lose all. I mean, listen, I'm talking
(07:39):
about this because I hope that that is the case.
I don't feel good though Friday missing, we're at Wednesday,
we're almost at a week scares me.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
And then also she hasn't been in contact with anybody
any That's a whole other thing. And too, like I
assume they could track the cell phone and this is
going deep deeper than we already know. But like, do
they not have her cell phone? Do they not know
where there is must?
Speaker 1 (08:00):
I would think police so that their search efforts have
included even using a drone speaking to all of her friends.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
You would think phone computer.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Activity because who knows, maybe they can find a conversation
where she's meeting up with somebody.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Yeah, yeah, I don't have a good feeling.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
I hope that I am telling you that twenty one
year old Leah Smith has been found you know today,
But I will keep you guys posting on this.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
This is starting to get national attention.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
I saw it on Daily Mail this morning, so we
will keep you posted thoughts and prayers. I can't imagine
how her family feels also because she's from Cali.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Gut wrenching.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
Yeah, because I'm sure they're here now, but to be
that far away, and yeah, it's scary.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
It's really scary.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
All right, let's talk about some positive news. The Celtics
are back in action. Baby, I can't believe the season
it's here already.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Like doesn't feel the same.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Why not because it James?
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Why, Yeah, He's going.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
To be back before we know it, that man like Superman.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
I know. It's just tough because the last few years
I've had amazing like basketball, it's been great, and now it's.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Like they're taking on the sixers tonight seven thirty is
that to appears the iconic Joe Mizula.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
Go and ask for a better preseason up until today
and now you know, we go into uh, you know,
a season where there's ever flowing changes and challenges and
opportunities and we have to fight to keep that identity
on both us of the Ford.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
I couldn't tell you a singular thing that happened preseason
other than the viral clip of Joe Mizzula being annoyed
that they bought new chairs.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
For the media.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Really did you haven't google Joe mizzoula chairs. I'll get
the clip for you guys in the next hour. But
he sits down at the table, he looks out, he goes,
they got you guys new chairs.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
He's he's annoyed.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
Why are you sonnyed?
Speaker 1 (09:41):
He hates answering questions. I don't think he thinks that
they should be gifted new chairs. It's so funny in
his face, it's so mad. He's annoyed, so annoyed. But listen,
I think, obviously the Celts are gonna be watched by
a lot of people. How will they handle this? How
will they play without a JT? I just think all
eyes are going to be on Jaylen Brown. I think
(10:02):
Jalen's going to really step up. I can't wait to
see what he has in store for us this season.
Derek White said, trying to sleep last night is tough
because it's like the big first day of school today.
So celts sixers, we are officially starting the season seven
thirty pm to night. Okay, someone should slap it.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
And by the way, you're the basketball guy now, all right,
next one up.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Nicki Minaj has deactivated her Instagram account.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Thank god, no one's trying to see what she's putting
out there anymore.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
By the way, funny because she didn't take a full
on social media break, she's still tweeting out craziness all
on Twitter.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Did you see she.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
Posted an ai video of jay Z as a female,
like a Nicki Minaj type, like a Barb's.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
She's ob sacked.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
She thinks about jay Z more than jay Z thinks
about literally any She's so obsessed with him.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
It's just give such sad.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
Now we still don't really know what the issue is
right with her or why she hates him.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
It's a long I can't even get into it. It's
a long standing issue that she has with jay Z.
But I mean, she's still just going off on anybody
that's in a place of I guess power. You would
say in the music industry, she feels like blocks her
blessings and blocks her and blocks her.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Downloads and doesn't let her win.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
And she got to the point where she was so
mad that she said she's not putting out any music anymore.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
She's punishing us.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
You know, a lot of people are concerned that there
might be other things going on with Niki, and I
feel that too. I'm not necessarily saying I'm falling into
the she's doing the drugs thing, but there does seem
like some serious bipolar schizophrenia like mental health things happening
with NICKI now she should not be allowed to touch
a cell phone.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Which if she's acting like this, I guess I understand.
But the tough thing is when she's complaining about the industry, Like,
how can she complain because the last couple of years
for her have been really well. She had that massive tour,
she seemingly was doing well. Right.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
She put out a tweet the other day basically saying,
like people in the radio don't put on certain names
like they won't put up and comers, and.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
I'm like, what who she was?
Speaker 1 (12:04):
She was mad at Charlemagne and the Breakfast Club in
that certain tweet. But she just she just comes out
of left field with these things. And she may I
feel like she makes up things in her head or
she's believing the thoughts in her head and those thoughts
could be a little messed up.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Well, that's a problem she has too, because she reads
too much of the responses on X And that's another thing.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
I mean, even her whole back and forth with CARTI
just left such a bad taste in my mouth, like
she took an l in that she It was embarrassing
for her either way. She's off ig but you can
always go find.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Her on Twitter.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
She'll be back.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Don't worry, of course she will.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
That's three things you need to know for Wednesday, October
twenty second. We love a good talk back, especially if
you aren't able to call the show. If you can
six one seven nine three one one nine four five
to say what up? But if you can't, down the
free iHeartRadio app, put on jam and hit that little
red microphone and say whatever, come moning.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
Morning show, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
It is number one for hip hop. I am in
ninety four or five. Hi, everybody, good morning.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
I think people think I'm exaggerating, and Son, you can
tell them that that I am absolutely not about how
nervous I am for Friday and what it's gonna look like.
And I won't be sleeping Thursday, like I Mommy's gonna
need a few cocktails Thursday just to calmet down.
Speaker 3 (13:24):
I mean, you actually tried to cancel it. I did
a week and a half ago.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
I did try to cancel it a week and a
half ago for a specific reason.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
You guys can imagine why, but I did, and you
were like, let's just give it a day, let's take it,
let's take a breather before we do anything drastic. But
here we are, we're two days out. Obviously we're doing
this VIP giveaway thing. But I just I can't stress enough.
There's no difference from VIP to you just showing up.
Because the bar is so massive and it's big, and
(13:52):
it's gonna fit everybody, and we're feeding everybody. The VIP
is just a closer spot to where we're gonna be talking.
But that's I mean, you might not even want that
might be somebody who wants to sit at the bar.
That's where I would want to say. Personally speaking, we
were looking over the menu. I was looking over the
drink menu at Rockefeller's. The bar is going to open
at eight am. I mean, we got pumpkin espresso Martini.
(14:13):
We have Sanderson's sister shot flutes like there's just it's
so exciting.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
So there must be three shots in that right there is?
Speaker 2 (14:20):
Can you name them all? The sisters? Huh?
Speaker 3 (14:25):
I actually can't know.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
You can't name the Sanderson sisters. Who's the main one?
I know Winnie is the main main one, the hot one.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
I forget what the hot one is it. I have
no idea.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Come little children, I'll take the way Sarah Sarah, and
then the big one.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I mean in comparison, that's what everybody would say.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
The one on the vacuum Mary.
Speaker 2 (14:49):
Mary also my mother's name. But anyways, it's exciting because.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
There's just no better place in the world to do
something like this then Salem. And when Rockefeller's reached out
to us a few months back, I couldn't believe it.
I was like, wow, So logistically, what it's going to
look like is we will just be doing this. We
will do our show from six to ten. You can come,
you can hang out, anybody can come. But the extra
element that we're adding is that there's also a costume contest.
(15:20):
First place one thousand dollars, second place five hundred, third
two fifty.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
And I just think that that is like, that's big money,
that's crazy money.
Speaker 3 (15:31):
Because most places will do one hundred dollars cash like
a winner. So I mean we're doing way more than that.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Yeah, one thousand dollars for first place, and think about it.
I was if you spend a couple hundred bucks on
your costume, you're still in the green.
Speaker 3 (15:43):
Yeah, and even third for two fifty's.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
Yeah, if you're coming anyway.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Right, might as well.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
So we'll have that going at the same time. We
do ask if you're dressing up in costume to get
there by eight am.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
It's early.
Speaker 1 (15:53):
I know it's a big ask, but uh, you know,
we would love to see you guys there, Come hang out.
My mother's coming. My mom's gonna d d me.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
It's pretty sick. Yeah all right.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
Yeah, she actually offered to come with me in the
morning so she could drive me back.
Speaker 2 (16:05):
I think it's the smartest play.
Speaker 3 (16:06):
And maybe if we're there, we might as well find
Howry your boyfriend too.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
I would love that, right, Yeah, a cripkeeper.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
But a lot of people have been saying to me, like,
who's gonna come, Like which listeners do you think who's
going to be heading.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
To Rockefellers from six to ten am on a Friday?
Speaker 6 (16:21):
Well, look, we got all of them morning. I'm hoping
ago Happy Hemp Day on Friday, but I'm still in
the hospital. I should be getting out today and wearing
my costume on Friday. I don't know what time I'm
going to roll up, probably like around like eight thirty
nine o'clock and just to see you guys in to
(16:42):
have a little breakfast and take pics. So looking forward
to it.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
You guys are the best. I love you. Bye.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
Health is of the utmost importance here, Katie. If you
get released from the hospital and you're able to come
on Friday, great.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
If not, stay home and rest take care of yourself.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
That's part about that call. You could hear the beeping
in the back absolutely, so you know she's alive.
Speaker 7 (17:02):
Right.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
If that, we know we have issues.
Speaker 1 (17:05):
Positive positives here, by the way, speaking of the Sanderson sisters,
who would have thought one of the witches was going
to be there. Focus Pocus, Jerry will be a stray
and never get.
Speaker 7 (17:19):
Any play.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
Crazy. I should agree, there's more, there's more, sucky.
Speaker 8 (17:29):
I was gonna put you in my caldron, but I
saw your feet and I thank you.
Speaker 9 (17:37):
I'd rather eat.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
Rats, I see.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
And I agree with that one. Yeah, I agree with
that one. And you know what's so crazy is when
it comes to Sanderson sisters, like nobody gives them more
respect than me.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Nobody. But after this, I'm not so sure.
Speaker 8 (17:55):
Focus pocus fireman, fireman, I curse your wife.
Speaker 7 (18:00):
For the ask.
Speaker 3 (18:04):
So funny too, Damn, that's that Jesus, It's not that flat,
so it is. But man, he cursed the fire man.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Yeah, I feel bad for him. I mean, that's crazy.
So here's what we're gonna do. First off, I want
to hear from people that are like, we're coming, no
matter what. I would love to hear from you.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
I just call me and tell me you're coming, just
to think, to calm the nerves, make me feel better,
and one of you we will hook up right now
with a VIP again. The only difference between you just
coming and the VIP is that you're a little bit
closer to where we're talking. And like I said, I
think personally, i'd rather be at the bar. If you
have any questions, now would be the time to ask
them to And a big one we're getting is parking.
(18:46):
That's very early in the morning. Yeah, so the owner
of Rockefellers was like, they'll probably get street spots if
they're driving in, but there's two other places to park,
the T.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Station right down the street in the Essex Museum parking
garage with again it's like a quarter mile. They're super cool.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah, if you're someone like me and you're like, I'd
just rather drive to a location and do it. Just park,
be done with it, have a great time. Our show
is going to be six to ten. You can, you know,
travel around Salem after. But if you're someone that's just
like I don't care if I get a VIP or not,
and you're coming, call us right now and in the
meantime we'll also hook somebody up. Six one seven nine
three one one nine four five six one seven nine
(19:23):
three one one nine four five. We are two days
out from our first ever live shows.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Hi, everybody, good morning. It Sashley and the Gabod Morning Show.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
I I that was so confusing, and I can tell
by the calls that I've confused you guys here. What
I was saying is I wanted to talk to some
people that are like, I don't care if I get
the closer spot or not. I'm still coming, Like Lauren
and Eastie plans on coming on Friday.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Lauren, I want to hug you and hold you.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Thank you so much because you know I'm in my
head that it's gonna be us and then like my
mother should be cool.
Speaker 9 (19:55):
No, I'm gonna be there.
Speaker 8 (19:56):
I'm excited.
Speaker 9 (19:58):
I'm planny on dressing up as well. I'm bringing at
least one friend, so I'll be there.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
Wow, like dressing up as in QTT going out and
Salem after or dressing up to be a part of
the costume contest.
Speaker 9 (20:10):
I think I'm gonna wear swopewater kind of vibe. Maybe
not dressed up for the costume vibe.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Okay, Well, I can't wait to see you in person.
I'm pumped.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
Whenever you get there six to ten, come say hi
to me. We're just we're so pumped. It's gonna be
quite the day.
Speaker 10 (20:28):
I can't wait to see you guys.
Speaker 11 (20:29):
Thank you, you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Selena is in Lynn, Hi, Selena, Hi Ashley?
Speaker 2 (20:36):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (20:37):
I'm good?
Speaker 2 (20:38):
How are you? What's up? I'm good.
Speaker 7 (20:42):
The rain is killing my vibe right now.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
I know.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I don't think it's good on Friday. Doesn't look like
there's gonna be much rain. Do you plan on coming?
Speaker 11 (20:51):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (20:51):
I do.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
I'm trying to figure out a way to get.
Speaker 11 (20:53):
Out of work.
Speaker 9 (20:54):
All right.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
Well if I give you the VIP a little closer spot,
will that help you get out of work?
Speaker 11 (20:59):
Yeah, that's a good that's a good plan.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
Okay, like I said, it'd be just like everybody else,
except you have a little bit of a closer spot.
That's the only difference there. But hang on the line
and a J will get all of your info. Okay,
we'll see you on Friday.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Thank you, You're welcome.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
Shelley is in Lawrence, Shelle, I love you. You're coming
on Friday.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Four of you? Oh I thought you said it's four.
I was like, oh, six, so we'll have four plus
my mother that's five.
Speaker 9 (21:36):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Well, we I love her. Will we be sailing after
and having a day.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
Or we just.
Speaker 11 (21:43):
Of course I am not.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
I know, I agree. Are we costume or no costume?
Speaker 12 (21:50):
No costume?
Speaker 11 (21:51):
We're just a couple of.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Well, I can't wait. Come say hi to me as
soon as you get there. All right, all right, we'll
see you Friday. I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Uh sal thought, Laurie isn't where him? Hi, laur We're good.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
We have this big live show on Friday. Do you
have any desire to come?
Speaker 11 (22:16):
I do, like the other girl said, just trying to
get out of work. Now all right, well, I'm going
to call my daughter afterwards, and my daughter will be all.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Right, Well, let's do it. And I'm just telling something
to this right now. Let's do another VIP's. I think
I feel like the people who are like, I don't know,
should I get off work? We I'm going to offer
you a better spot inside there. That way you have
more incentive to tell your boss.
Speaker 11 (22:37):
Okay, okay, exactly.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
I can hear it in your voice a little bit. Well, Laurie,
hang on the line there and tell your daughter.
Speaker 1 (22:44):
You guys are coming to a spooky Salem on Friday.
We'll see you then a j We'll get all your info.
Speaker 7 (22:50):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (22:50):
You're welcome dude, Laurie's driving off from the Cape for this.
That's well, think of it like that.
Speaker 2 (22:55):
No, I know, I know. We're definitely up to like
twelve people.
Speaker 3 (22:59):
Well people, well that's a good crowd.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
You guys are loud. The regulars that come up, We're
up to fifteen.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Yeah, it's gonna be a time.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
I cannot believe it. We are two days away.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
We are gonna be kicking it at Rockefellers in Salem
doing the show from six to ten am. You don't
need me, ip you youa moa, me, sister, your cousin,
anybody can come and we are feeding everybody. I cannot
wait to see you guys on Friday as morning show.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
And you need to know we got you three things
you need to know on Boston's number one for hip
hop and the best throwbags.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
You haven't I need more fires, all right, guys, Wednesday,
October twenty second.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
I want to talk about this as much as we can,
just in case somebody might have any sort of information.
Police and Vermont are asking for the public's health to
help track down a Middlebury College student last scene on
campus Friday night. Timeline wise, think about this last Friday
night around nine pm, Leah Smith is seen.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
She's seen on campus.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
There at Middlebury. Fast forward to Sunday. Dad calls and
the police and he's like, something is wrong. She's missing.
I have not heard from her, and now here we
are on Wednesday. So just so you can kind of
follow along the timeline again, She's.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Twenty one years old.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
She is a double major in both computer science and statistics.
Also used to compete for the swimming and diving team.
She's five foot eleven, one hundred and sixty pounds, with
brown hair and blue eyes. Obviously, the president and the
police are like, we've been in contact with her family,
her friends. We're offering support to them. We're also trying
to look at her recent activities and her whereabouts to
(24:37):
find out where she is.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Because it's Wednesday. I don't have a good feeling, especial
when you hear stories like this and you get in
this thing with you going back to the past with
people have gone missing like this. It doesn't leave me
with a positive thing.
Speaker 1 (24:49):
I've really started to dig into this, especially like it's
starting to make national attention, so I'm sure you guys
will also start hearing about it more.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
If people are talking about it.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
But I've seen in a lot of the articles the
police are kind of saying like, hey, Leah, if you
also if you see this, or you're seeing headlines about
yourself or your photo and you're thinking, oh my gosh,
I'm too afraid to call my dad now or call
anybody because I'm going to get in trouble for what
I did.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Don't worry about that. Everybody just wants to know that she's.
Speaker 3 (25:14):
Okay, hopefully, like she was dealing with something that she
needed a break and she's going to reappear in it
a day or so.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, Or maybe she met somebody online and thought it
was going to be something that it's not.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
But we're two days out from it being a week,
which does scare me. But if you have any information,
obviously the Middlebury Police Department is asking for any information,
and we were talking about this last hour. God willing,
they have like her computer and some sort of cell
phone data that they can try to help to find her.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
All Right, it's a big night for our Celtics.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
We are back in action. The season is here, which
is so crazy. The season is happening. Six Ers tonight,
seven thirty here's our guy, Joe Mizzoula.
Speaker 5 (25:53):
And asked for a better preseason up until today. And
now you know we're go into, you know, a season
where there's every flowery chain and challenges and opportunities and
we have to fight to keep that identity on both
those of the Ford.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
I feel like it's gonna be all eyes on JB.
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Everyone's gonna, you know, be looking at him for leadership
to get them through these trying times of a team
without Jason Tatum. I'm not worried though we love Jalen.
He's in front of the show, but he can't carry
the team.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
I think when Joe's talking about challenges and opportunities, somebody
else needs.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
To shut a step up. Yeah, the whole team has
to step up.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
If somebody said to me, well, ash talk about the
Celtics preseason, I got nothing for you other than this
viral moment from Joe Mizzula when he sat down and
realized that the Celtics had spent dollars on new chairs
for the media.
Speaker 5 (26:36):
Have got new chairs kind of in for you guys
to be comfortable.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Our rest now unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (26:46):
You need our rest now, he's upsets, Well, why is
he mad though?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
The Celtics are worth a lot and they pay their players. Well,
it's just so good.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
I love it so much.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
All right, what interests you more? Kim K making a
major purchase or again the Stallion and a new partnership
she has Kim K. All right, let's talk Kim K.
Kim just turned forty five. I think it was yesterday.
Her birthday was yesterday, forty five.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
She looks unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
She's been out in about she's going to be in
this new TV show, so her and Chris Jenner have
really been on the promo tour.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
She's just been looking amazing. But she did make quite
the purchase.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
She bought the house next door to her own in
southern cal seven mil to expand her property in La.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Now she don't have any neighbors, but think about this.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
The new house is a four bed, five bath, forty
nine hundred square foot home with a fireplace, a spa,
insane view horse trails nearby. Archaeologist Architectural Digest reports that
with this new purchase, Kim's homes are worth over one
hundred mil.
Speaker 3 (27:49):
You know what, but this has given me the feeling
like she's going to demolish it and just bought it
for the land.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
It's a compound, I think, you know, I think she's
just making a massive compound.
Speaker 3 (27:59):
Because their main how is enormous, So now they're buying
another one next to the make a it's just Kim. Well,
it's just Kim.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Yeah, guys, think the old the house that her and
Ye had where everything.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Was like cream clay. That's the best one.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
And their bathroom always stuck out to me because the
entire bathroom is glass so you could see out, and
they change the plants and all the things that are
outside of her glass window. And remember the sink was
just like a slab. Yes, So that's Kim's home. So
she bought the home next door to it, and I
think she's going to expand and make a massive compound.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
She got a lot of kids, but.
Speaker 3 (28:31):
Her main house is is she They've added on to
that too, so now they're like.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
I can't stop saying, hey, it's just Kim.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
I know when I say they, I always think Kanye,
and I should not say Kanye's gone.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
Yeah, Like she doesn't needs money, She's doing this by herself. Well,
and I also think an interesting thing about the Kardashians
is too. Chris Jenner and Chloe Kardashian bought these massive
properties right next door to each other, So Chris and
Chloe like walk across their driveway into the other person's homes.
They they borrow these things from their closet. They talk
about this on social media. They have a compound that
(29:04):
they share.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
That's too close. I can never live like that close.
My in laws are like my mother.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
Yeah, I love Terry. That imagine he's setting up oh my.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
And it's three things you need to know for Wednesday,
October twenty second, Hip Hops Most Haunted. Jai d is
going to be at the MGM Music Hall with you,
and you're also going to get our spooky two for
one special two passes to Spooky World. We're hooking you
up right now. Six one seven nine three one one
nine four five colors twenty five. Happy Halloween.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Dashy and the jam In Morning Show Good Morning, Boston's
number one for hip hop jam In ninety four five.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Hi everybody, good morning, It's Ashly the jam In Morning Show.
We are we're doing the check in here talking about
anything you want, you your life, your world, tell us
a story, call invent ask us a question. Anything you want,
It's up to you. Six one seven nine three one
one nine four five. That is six one seven nine
three one one four five. We're going to start with
(30:01):
Amber in Rhode Island.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
Amber.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
I don't even believe this, Like I I see what
it says here, but it makes me like.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
I might cry on Friday.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
But tell everybody, Uh, you plan on coming to the
live show, Tell everybody where you're coming from.
Speaker 11 (30:16):
I do so I'm coming from Rhode Island.
Speaker 13 (30:18):
Can you guys hear me?
Speaker 9 (30:19):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 11 (30:20):
All right?
Speaker 13 (30:21):
So I've been dming you because last night I was
working on my costume. It's DIY so I didn't buy
anything from the store, but I worked on it for
about three hours last night because I wanted to be original.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Well I know, I don't want to say it.
Speaker 9 (30:34):
I am.
Speaker 8 (30:34):
I don't want to say it because I don't want
to say it right all right.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
That's why I was making sure because I feel like
if I say it, people will start guessing, and I
want them to be surprised.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
I kind of surmised what I think it could be.
Where in Rhode Island?
Speaker 2 (30:47):
Are you guys? Pa Tucket Pawtucket Ixin is a.
Speaker 13 (30:51):
Typical Rhode Island person, where like he doesn't leave Rhode Island.
So I have turned him on to the to this
show because I grew up in Boston, i lived in
Salem for fifteen years. I've been in Rhode Island now
for ten years. So I make him listen to the podcast,
like when we're on the road and stuff. So I'm
actually a podcast girl. And I've only started listening to
iHeart on the app this week because I was trying
(31:12):
to win the VIP for the contest because my husband's
like fireman, like, is there even going.
Speaker 11 (31:16):
To be a spot for us to sit?
Speaker 13 (31:18):
You better get VIP, So I'm like trying to prove
him wrong. And I've been up every morning trying to
win these VIPs well to prove him wrong and to
make the drive worth it. But I'm going to be
there no matter what.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
For not for for for only you being able to
tell that man, I told you that I was going
to get these VIPs, We're going to give it to you.
I want to make sure you're up close and personal, considerate,
don honey, And by the way, if you're listening and
you plan on coming. You don't need VIP. Anybody could come.
We're feeding everybody. VIP is just a closer spot, and
so we can shut Amber's husband up and say we
(31:48):
were right.
Speaker 13 (31:49):
And he's just an accessory to my costume.
Speaker 11 (31:52):
He's not he's not he's not part he's not like
dressed up.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
He's just that's That's what both my children are as
well until they tell me now they're accessories to me
trying to shine in a costume.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I can't wait to meet you.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Now, you're from Salem, So will you guys hang out
and kind of go see your old stomping grounds after?
Speaker 13 (32:11):
Yeah, definitely. So I lived in Salem in my twenties
and early thirties, so all my kids went to school
in Salem, they were born in Salem. So definitely gonna go.
Santi probably knows Rainbow Terris, but that's where I lived
for a while. Yeah, so I'm definitely going to go
see my old stomping grounds.
Speaker 2 (32:28):
But I love it.
Speaker 13 (32:29):
Excited, excited.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
Well, hang on the line there so AJ can get
all your info. I cannot wait to see this costume
on Friday.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
Awesome.
Speaker 13 (32:37):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
We love you too.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
As a reminder for anybody that's coming to the show
dressed up, make sure you're there by eight am. And
first prize is one thousand dollars. Second prize is five hundred,
third place is two fifty.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Could you tell where her costume was?
Speaker 1 (32:53):
I think so because it's something specific that she's wearing
on her head. And when she told me that specific thing,
I think thought to myself, Okay, this is the first
thing I thought of.
Speaker 2 (33:02):
I could be wrong.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
I just feel like everybody's going to be fighting for
a second place. Though, because we got this talk back,
and once I heard this, I was like, you know,
obviously we now know where the thousand dollars will be going.
Speaker 14 (33:15):
Hey, guys, can't wait for your show on Friday. I
got my costume. I'm gonna be santy for a Halloween,
got my bald cap, my yellow teeth, and I found
some troll feet online.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
I am dead deadh makes it fun. He probably just
bought like fake teeth and colored him in with yellow
yellow eye. So yeah, everybody's gonna be shooting for second
six one seven, nine, three, one four five.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Seriously, though, I can't wait to see you all there.
In the meantime, what are you doing, How are you doing?
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (33:53):
Six one, seven, nine three, We're talking about whatever you want?
Speaker 2 (33:57):
It's the check him only on Jammin Hi. Everybody going,
It's Ashley and the GM in Morning show. We're checking in.
What's up with you? Your life? Your world?
Speaker 1 (34:05):
Six one seven, nine three, one one nine four five
six one seven nine three one one nine five. We're
talking about whatever you want. Logan is in newbury Port.
Speaker 11 (34:14):
Hi, Logan, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
So this is pretty interesting. Your husband has been at
the same job for seven years.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
He's been there.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Yees.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
So he goes to work whenever this was this week
and asks for a day off to do Halloween with
the kids. Is he asking for specifically Halloween off?
Speaker 12 (34:35):
Yes, No, he asked to switch with somebody and his
boss was like, oh, if you can find coverage, that's
a tough one. But he's a chef and it's a
portsmouth and they're having a parade.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Okay, so yeah, I figured that part was important. So
he's a chef at a restaurant. Now, does any of
the other people that could fill in for him have
kids too, No.
Speaker 12 (34:57):
They're all older people that don't have young child and
it's like, are you kidding me? He never asked for
anything off, No, you have a six month old. It's like,
you know, it's kind of a big deal. It's Halloween,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
We love Halloween. Of course.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I think there should be an unwritten rule. And I
know that's one thing I love about the camaraderie at
the at my husband's firehouse. Like if on Christmas there's
a guy working right and he has kids, somebody will
say to him that doesn't have kids, Hey, let's swap
off so you can have Christmas with your kids.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
I don't have kids yet.
Speaker 12 (35:27):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
That's that to me.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Is like if these other people don't have kids, that's strange.
And if he rarely takes off. Oh but obviously with
the climate of the world, you don't want to lose
your job.
Speaker 2 (35:39):
So what's he going to do?
Speaker 12 (35:41):
I know, but this is this is pushing him out
the door. I've been asking him to find a new
job because it's you know, they've been changing people that
work there, and it's not the same. It used to
be like family, and now it's like they don't It's
like they don't really care that he has a family,
that he that he wants to spend a holiday with
his kids, you know what I mean. So he's he's
going to be looking for another job now, unfortunately, and
(36:01):
he's a line chef there, and he's been there for
so long. They can't get help, they can't keep help,
and they're going to lose him over there, you know
what I mean.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
That breaks my heart.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
Did he did he speak to his boss and just say, listen,
like I need this or I'm going to find a
new job.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Or is he just already looking.
Speaker 12 (36:18):
He's already looking. We're not even gonna tell him. He's
just gonna do it like, yeah, here's my two weeks.
And then when he gets a new job, he's just
gonna be like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:24):
I'm done. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
See, that's frustrating. I can totally understand.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
I mean, listen, it doesn't matter if it's Halloween, a birthday, Christmas,
whatever it is.
Speaker 12 (36:33):
Have even taken a vacation since he's been there. He's
never taken vacation ever.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
No, that's that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
And again, if the other people don't have kids and
they can't like step up for one night, I mean
that that's that kind of says a lot about the
people that he works with.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
That's not saying much about him, but definitely something about them.
Well it is, when is he going to give us
two weeks?
Speaker 12 (36:56):
As soon as he finds another job, he's out of
there looking right now?
Speaker 2 (36:59):
All right, Well, tell them they're gonna.
Speaker 12 (37:02):
Lose the loyal employee.
Speaker 13 (37:03):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Absolutely no, that that sucks, and tell hey, tell him
I'm sorry, and I hope that he has a fake
cough on the thirty first of October.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
Yeah, one hundred percent. All right, Logan, thanks for the call.
That is so strange to me. I think mainly because
the other people that he works with don't have kids.
Now everybody has kids.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
That's tough because now we've decided who's getting one holiday.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
But that's you were on the phone. But that's one
big thing about the Firehouse.
Speaker 1 (37:32):
Those guys are so cognizant of you know, you're working Christmas,
but you have kids.
Speaker 2 (37:36):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (37:37):
I'll swap with you, let you take New Year's whatever
it is. They they they try to help each other out.
They're not doing that at that restaurant.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Yeah, I mean that's the chef's schedule is crazy and
clearly like people don't want to do me.
Speaker 2 (37:48):
And you know, what's a little fun fact about your
boss loves that loves faker. Angie is in Westwood. Hi,
Angie morning, Oh babe, I want to hug you. I
bet I know you're probably feeling.
Speaker 10 (38:05):
Terrible, terrible.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
So what happened? By the way, it wasn't your fault.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Know that.
Speaker 10 (38:13):
I know everyone says that, but you know that's what
people say.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
Well, I know, but it's not how old. First off,
your granddaughter fell. She cut her head while you were
while you were supervising, you were watching her.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
How old is your granddaughter?
Speaker 10 (38:28):
She turned to and August Angie.
Speaker 1 (38:30):
This is what two year olds do. I I've had
a two year old. I have a one and a
half bay fall. Like, we can't police it. It happens.
Is let me ask you this are the Are the
parents being mean to you about it? Are they being okay?
Speaker 10 (38:43):
No, my son's out of town and the mom was
pretty cool about it. But you know, she's very active.
She's like a tomboy, you know, and she runs and
runs and I wanted to take her home to ride
her bike. She's like.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Every single call we just had dropped Snazzi's gonna lose it.
Did she give you more of the story because.
Speaker 3 (39:08):
The little girl did get ten stitches too.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
Oh that's what I was gonna happen.
Speaker 3 (39:11):
Yeah, damn. Yeah. She seemed very sorry about the whole thing,
but I just wanted to know, and I don't know
if you're gonna get to a bush she on her phone,
because I see this when I passed by the park
where the parents are on their phones and then the
kids are running around like crazy.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Listen, it could happen in my house. It could happen today.
Speaker 1 (39:27):
There there are times where the kids are playing and yeah,
I take a call or I look down for a second.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
Accidents happen.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
We can do our best to police it with the
gates and having like nothing.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Sharp with the corners, but that, I mean, kids fall.
Speaker 1 (39:40):
It happens, and I just hope that the parents they
seem like they're being cool.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
But that's I mean, obviously Nana.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Would never want that to happen on her but she
did say there someone's out of town, so she didn't
really give a verdict on that. So I wonder if
you get.
Speaker 1 (39:53):
Yeah, yeah, hopefully it heals and there's no scar six
one seven, nine, three, one one nine or five all of.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
You guys that were on hold. I'm so sorry, call back.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
These phones are legitimately trash six one seven, nine, three
one five.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
You know where this doesn't happen? Kiss went to wait
they kiss one to eight phones work. I don't know
where's the love high bads, Good.
Speaker 1 (40:11):
Morning, It's Ashley and the jamb of Morning Show. Sorry
about the phones, just like absolute trash. I don't know
what else to say about it. Sound you started composing
an email. It's not going to be a good day
for us with engineering.
Speaker 3 (40:21):
I'm sorry, they're going to get mad the right.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
I know, I just it's things are just sensitive her
own here, But you're right. I mean I shouldn't be
on the phone with somebody and then the call just disappears,
like that's right, crazy all right?
Speaker 2 (40:34):
So Angie is back, Angie? What are the kids? Call you?
By the way, are you Nana? Are you grandma?
Speaker 10 (40:40):
Mem?
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Okay, So if you were, if you were just tuning in,
Mimi was watching her two year old granddaughter she fell.
You did, in fact have to go to the hospital
ten stitches.
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Yeah, where were you guys at We were at them
just out of park or something.
Speaker 10 (40:58):
Ye, that's yeah, yeah, And I was not on the phone,
and Santi, I never are on the phone.
Speaker 1 (41:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (41:06):
The only time my phone comes out is when I'm
taking pictures.
Speaker 1 (41:09):
Yeah, well, Santi's going to hell, Angie, so don't worry
about that. But by the way, did you hear me.
I'm like, I get on the phone sometimes. And that's
the thing about.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
The park too. Yeah, because it's true, Like, yes, I
take a text mest every once in a while. I
looked down. But Angie, like I I the park is nuts.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
I'm at the point now with if I go to
the park with both of them, I pretty much have
to tell the todd They're like, you have to follow
us because the one and a half year old, almost
one and a half. It's nuts, Like it takes but
one half of a millisecond.
Speaker 10 (41:38):
Yeah, we were leaving, so he was running and I
was like, oh my god, what she is home to
the legs of it?
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (41:50):
Well, the only thing I can do for you, Ange
right now is to hang up with you and make
you feel a little bit better, because the next call
I'm going to take says, I ran over my granddaughter's
foot with my car, So I'm gonna hang out with you.
So yeah, turn the volume off because you're gonna fel
a little bit. And when your son comes back and
you have to explain what happened, be like, let me
tell you about Tricia and Lynn. Tricia, I know you
(42:13):
probably were so upset because listen, the kids are gonna fall,
Things are gonna happen, their feet might get ran over.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
But you never wanted to be on your watch.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Of course.
Speaker 8 (42:24):
Of course, So we had celebrated their birthday on Saturday,
and then Sunday was an extended day just me and them.
Speaker 11 (42:31):
I was taking them to brunch.
Speaker 8 (42:33):
Now the CAD's not even moving, mind you.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (42:36):
So I'm getting ready to leave my pocking spot where
I live, and I hear the click and there's there's
two of them. They're twins and they do everything together,
like literally right. So I hear the belt, the seatbelt click,
and I think everybody's ready. I take off and I
hear a screen, I mean a curdling screen.
Speaker 7 (42:57):
Because they call me me me as well.
Speaker 8 (43:00):
And I jumped out of the cop She had her
right leg in the car and I guess there was
something on the stet and she was wiping it off.
So when I went to go take off. I ran
over her foot, Ashley, I can't tell you the my
hot I literally fell out of my check. But her
(43:24):
both of their parents were at work. I'm crawling. My
daughter worked at a gym at the time. I'm calling
her cell phone. I'm calling her gym while I'm trying
to safely speed to the hospital. I'm screaming and crying.
I'm and she's what a trooper.
Speaker 11 (43:41):
I cannot tell you.
Speaker 7 (43:42):
She kept saying, it's okay, it's okay, it just hurts
really bad. And every time she cried, every time.
Speaker 8 (43:50):
She cried, her twin sister cried, Meanwhile, she's not her Ah,
me and me, how old are they I met there
at the time, they're eighteen out at the time they
had just turned I think seven.
Speaker 2 (44:04):
It's okay. They were trying to suck you off the
ledge like it's okay.
Speaker 8 (44:07):
Me.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
Me, it just hurt? Did it?
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Was?
Speaker 2 (44:09):
It broke?
Speaker 1 (44:10):
I couldn't.
Speaker 7 (44:10):
I couldn't believe how strong.
Speaker 8 (44:12):
And I kept thinking, my daughter is never going to
let me take them again. I'm never going to see
these kids again. When my daughter got to the hospital,
she said, Mom, when you told me you ran over
her foot? Like I thought I was going to come
up here and her foot was going to be mangled
and hanging off.
Speaker 7 (44:27):
Literally it was the ball of her.
Speaker 11 (44:33):
The ball of.
Speaker 8 (44:33):
Her foot, but like the side and when I tell
you there was like a thick piece of skin hanging off.
Speaker 2 (44:38):
It was.
Speaker 8 (44:40):
And then I got to the emergency room and they
thought I was because I was like I'm.
Speaker 7 (44:45):
Screaming like literally, and they came over to me and
like they looked at her foot and they're like, okay, ma'am, ma'am,
calm down, it's okay, She's okay, it's.
Speaker 2 (44:55):
Going to be okay.
Speaker 8 (44:56):
My god, wow, Well, you know what needless to say.
Every time they getting the can now it's like is
everybody is everybody?
Speaker 2 (45:03):
And they're eighteen. Now you're like, are we buckled in? Girls?
Speaker 1 (45:06):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (45:08):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
Well, you know what that was when they were seven
or eighteen. Now clearly your daughter let you have them again.
So that's a positive.
Speaker 11 (45:13):
Yeah, all the time, all the time.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
I love it inreadable. You know what you did.
Speaker 1 (45:17):
You made Angie feel a lot better today because you
could tell she was struggling.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
Accidents happen.
Speaker 8 (45:23):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (45:24):
Thank you so much for the call.
Speaker 3 (45:26):
She left out the part where, she said, the girl
walks with a limp.
Speaker 2 (45:28):
Now tell you what if your name Mimi watching markets
