Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wake up, wake yo.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Oh man, listen. Celtics put on the show last night.
And I did I not say I don't. I'm not
a gambling woman, but I can tell when there's just
like momentum in the air.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
They did just win by a little, they won by
a lot.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, dude, and you you got to do it for
your for your man's like you you have to. And
I did think they were going to get it done
last night at the Garden. I mean, listen, can they
go and do it in New York and then bring
it back home? Last night proved to me they can.
They got it in them. But can they do it again?
(00:46):
And they put on that performance again, and let me
tell you if they can, We're coming back here for
Monday night.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
But not to pick nits. But Brunton did file out
of the game like yeah, I'm just you know, let's
get the stats, right.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
JB put the team on his back. Derek White shot well,
I mean at one point he was like four to
four from beyond the arc. It's just everything fell into
place last night. Can everything fall into place again in
New York and then and then bring it back home?
I just I love the heartbeat so I like to
gamble every once in a while, and I think it's
exciting that there's a chance that they win tomorrow night
(01:24):
in New York and come back here for a game seven,
when I know how exciting woul that big?
Speaker 1 (01:27):
That would be a lot of fun. So technically they
don't don't really need Tatum, right, technically, No, I'm not saying.
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I'm not gonna say that it's a weapon. Would be great,
the best player in the NBA.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
So without him, they're not going to fail. They could
still do it.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I think, And I said this yesterday to my mother,
we were watching the game. If I'm if I'm a
Jalen Brown and you know Luke Cornette, any of these
guys and all you constantly hear after Jason Tatum, Roptress's
Achilles ten and is like Selter done? Who are they
going to trade? What's the team going to look like
everybody's and it's not gonna look the same. They can't
do it, They're done. This is season. I'm pissed off. Yes,
(02:05):
I'm taking this someone to the chest, Like what do
you have you seen our roster? Look at our locker room.
You don't think we can do it? Like we can
do it. And I think it lit a fire under there,
you know what, last night and they prove that they
can't listen.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
I was talking to my son yesterday and we both
looked at each other and and and he said it.
He's like, you know, there's somebody on that team that's
happy that Jason went down because they get them because no,
because now they get them minutes. Now they get to,
you know, try to prove themselves or to there somebody
there who was like, ah, this is my time to shine,
which is kind of like an f up thing to
think about, but it's true.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yea. I just think if you're a Jalen Brown, you
take it personally. When people count count a hundred percent.
This man is the MVP of the Finals last year,
Like you can't count him out. Santi did, but so
did a lot of other people. And I think he
took it personal. And that's a friend of the show.
Speaker 3 (02:54):
So like you said, two.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
More, Hey, give us the heartbeat, go to New York,
get it done, give us a game seven, Harpy.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
So we're where we're predicting that they're gonna win the finals.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
That's gonna be tough. It's gonna be tough. I'm not
gonna say no, no, we need to beat Yes, I'm
leaning there and we just need to beat the Knicks
because the Knicks went on this in the They in
the garden making mad noise like there was a bullies. Yeah,
like they were chairing every time, like when Nick caught
I was getting too much chairman. We need to shut
them up real quick.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Can I also say? I asked you guys at the
end of the show, where the Celt's gonna lose Santa.
You said yes, they are for and said no, they're
gonna win. And then I also said it's Timothy shallomg
and they're gonna be in the building sound You said
yes for and you said no. This man was there
bright and early. Tim Tim's on the parque right in early.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
He was there.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
There was like no one else in their seats. There's
Timothy Shallow at the garden and it was so funny
because there was a I'll play it in a minute,
but there was a little back and forth between him
and day Porner. Yeah, but he came so low. Kylie
Jenner was not there, so hey, you know that man's
going Friday night.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
There's no question why to see he's a huge act
like his like he's top level, right, and the fact
that he's so down to earth gets it early and
does stuff like that. It's refreshing.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
The videos of him just walking around New York and
Kylie is cruel.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
He went security, he was walking around and went right
into the building that he used to live in, which
was like, you know, a rundown spot where he was like, Yo,
this is why I started my career. This is why
I used to live and he remembers the dude at
the door and he was like, Hey, what's going on
and they like dapped up. They showed up like he
wasn't bougie whatsoever. He's like, yeah, this is where I
kind of started before, Like you know, I blew up
and I had to go walk miles to go act
(04:33):
at the theaters and all of that. Shout out to him.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Timothy Shallo May is really really down to earth.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Now.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Did he watch the whole game with sunglasses on last
night inside the garden? Yeah, And that was the first
he did. And I didn't like it because that was
the first time I had seen him do that.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
We didn't do that.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
I don't like it, but you know, listen. I love
that he hit the road for the next. He's a
massive Next fan, has been since he was little. He's
still little, but when he was there, baby, but I
had a feeling, I had a feeling he was going
to travel. So I love waking up feeling when I.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
Would beating them out.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
What did you guys do last night?
Speaker 1 (05:10):
No, you know what's funny. I was listening to the game,
like on the way home from baseball. And my youngest
son is eight, and he couldn't understand that I was
listening to the game on the radio without watching it.
And the whole concept to him was like that, that's
that's boring. And I started thinking about it. I'm like,
you're actually right, Like I'm able to consume it like that.
But these kids these days, they don't understand that there's
(05:32):
radio like telling you about the like the like details
of like the whole game. It's so interesting.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
That is funny, because yeah, that part is we grew
up like that. But if you but yeah, for him,
if you've already had a taste of listening and seeing
at the same time, you're not going to like that.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
And then with the iPads on the phone, you're like
well why not just watch them? Like, what's kind of
a legal But I get it though, but yeah, no,
that's what I did. I was at baseball and watching.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
That's why the world is so advanced now, Like everyone's
at the Kendrick Lamark concert watching the Celts on their iPhone.
It's just how is your evening form?
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Mine was good, went to home deep on a bunch
of other You know what my new thing is now? Nurseries.
I never knew how. Yeah, I drive by plant nurseries
all the time, didn't give a damn about them.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
You threw plants in there because I was like, I'm not.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
A petal, small plants small. Now I drive by these
joints all the time. I could care less. I'm like,
why people buying trees? They're free, just go a broute
one and put it in your crib, not understanding understand
the business of it. And I've been just in nurseries
because I'm trying to get my yard right and like, yeah,
(06:38):
tree's expensive.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Man on my neighbor's putting up the I think it's
called like a Japanese maple, beautiful tree, but they're pricey.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Yeah, small trees like small and these things don't grow
like it'll take you ten fifteen years before three hundred
dollars four hundred dollars. I'm like, why, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
We put in about ten trees over the last couple
of years. That just so like planning ahead like five years,
have some privacy, but it hits so much time, takes
so much.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Time and care. I mean, like the hydrangers are getting
ready to come in, and I'm so excited. I feel
like every day I'm walking by looking at the little
buds like we're almost there. It's if you get into it,
it's exciting.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
It is exciting. And then you know, a lot of
these plants now, because of how warm it got early,
they already bloomed, so they're done. So you're not getting it.
And that's another thing, Like you buy these plants that
are evergreen and stay around all year, but they only
bloom for like three weeks, I know, so you see
the color that you want and then in three weeks
it's done. So I'm like, yea.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
It is also crazy how it appears too. We have
these purple floral bushes in the backyard. I'm not kidding you.
On a Monday, that bush looked dead on Tuesday Boom.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Yeah, they're just bloomed. It's just but now it's fun though.
You know, you get to visit a bunch of them
all around the States.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
So that's I just hope nobody turned the radio off
right after four and said I'd be visiting nurseries. I
visit nurseries.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
They're like what actually ended Jamie Morning Show with DJ
four and its Sonty.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
When you need to know, No, we got you three
things you need to know on Bunton's Number one for
hip hop and the best throwbacks you haven't any more.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Five The Knicks.
Speaker 6 (08:16):
Thought there was gonna come into the garden, sit next
to Timothy Chambaway. He's wearing his sunglasses. I go, hey Timmy,
Hey tim I'll see on Monday night. Because they forgot
about the heart beat of this city, about the heart
beat of this team. They forgot about the eighteen World Championship.
They forgot that the New York Knicks haven't won a
series that mattered in thirty years.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Don't forget people, don't forget. You're not going to count
the Celtics out. And they made that very clear Thursday
May fifteenth, No JT. But the Celts made it happen
last night. Living to see Another day one twenty seven,
one O two. A lot of back and forth in
the first half, and I was a little I was nervous,
but they came out guns blazing. I mean, Derek White
(08:59):
just played out of his mind. None of us want
to go home, and so we understand that it's only
gonna get tougher.
Speaker 7 (09:07):
We haven't done anything yet.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Just can I find a way to go to New
York and win a game?
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Defense looked incredible Luke Cornette with seven blocks, and Jaylen
Brown was like, hold up, everybody, give me a second.
Speaker 7 (09:18):
I appreciate the fans that showed up tonight. You know,
it was a great atmosphere. It was loud, you know,
and uh, I know it's easy to kind of write
things off, but we still got basketball to be played.
Speaker 6 (09:28):
You know.
Speaker 7 (09:28):
I believe in his group, So you know, don't count
us out just yet.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
He was referring to sounds. Yeah, yeah, I know there's
people that are like, it's really easy to just count
us out. And again, I can't say it enough. If
I'm a Jaylen Brown and I'm driving in to practice
and I'm hearing people be like, yeah, so let's talk
about next season, because they're done this season and not
even mentioned that this this man is in conversations to
be one of the best to have ever played in
the NBA. I'm upset.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, like I would be too, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
Yeah, yeah, that was me. Look at you, literally the
fire under them.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
But I stand by him. But I mean I stand
by it. I don't think they're gonna win the end
of the day.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
But they didn't.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
But they played against the next of the finals the
next they're not. Come on, guys, are no Ashley, You're
the deciding here. Come on, you gave us some good
juju that you know yesterday and we won.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
I did say that they were going to win last night.
I guaranteed that my gut is saying. I'm gonna be honest.
I don't think they can win tomorrow night. I thought
being a realist here, but being a reality because not
for not because I don't think JB is a is
an amazing player. I just I don't think people understand
(10:41):
how hard that that is. You're down. Now you're going
on the road again, You're playing in their atmosphere with
their fans, all that stuff plays in and it sucks
that the Celtics put themselves in this position because had
they not been down three to one and they're not
playing these games with their back against the wall. I
think we have a different story if they could have
(11:01):
grabbed one or two in the beginning of the series.
But I think we're having a different conversation. But I
hope I'm wrong. I want to be wrong so bad
because I want the heartbeat of Game seven. I just
it's tough. They really put themselves in a really trash position.
But Game six tomorrow night, eight pm tip in New York. Baby,
(11:21):
all right, let's talk about the Diddy trild Yesterday was
another just absolutely insane testimony from Cassie Ventura. She was
back on the stand. A couple of highlights that I have.
If you guys want to add anything, obviously or more
than welcome. But I think we should start out with
the book. So we know for a fact that Cassie
(11:44):
was going to write this tell all book. Okay, she
talked about it on stand about how she wanted to
make sure Diddy read the book like it was kind
of her being able to tell her side of the story.
She told Diddy, if you don't want this to get
it's gonna cost you thirty million dollars. Do you remember
when this all went down, We were dying to know
(12:05):
what the price tag was. She wanted thirty mil in
less than twenty four hours. He said, do not put
this book out. Here's twenty mil. And she took it
st So then they asked her, well, why are you
so now, why are you talking you got your twenty mil.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Why?
Speaker 2 (12:20):
And she said, she just feels like she said, she
feels like she even did some wrong in all of this,
and she kind of feels like this story needs to
be told. We got into more graphic details about the
freak offs and what her life looked like. They asked
her straight up, how many freak offs have you been to?
(12:40):
And she said, oh, I couldn't even count hundreds. She
said her ut eyes were so bad that they got
to the point where antibiotics weren't even doing anything.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Hardly tough.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Yeah, she said she she would finish a freak off
that could have lasted forty eight hours, and she would
have sores on her tongue, sores on her tongue with
ut eyes that were so bad. And they were like, well,
if the antibiotics didn't work. How were you coping? She said,
OHI it's I was drugging myself.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
I mean, it sounds like they we're talking about it
like a sea. That's the best.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Way she was basically. She also talked about an incident
in which did he raped her? She said did. He
was mad because he had given her money for a trainer,
which turned out to be her now husband, Alex Fine,
So he wanted his money back because he paid for
that training session. Anyways, he raped her, and she details
(13:34):
that and then later was asked after that, did you
go on to have consensual sex with Sean And she
said yes. She said yes I did, And they asked
why would you do that if he had just done
the other thing to you? And she said, because ten years,
because of time, because I loved him.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
By the way, she called it a good night. We
had a good night, she said, yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
And her husband is they were dating at the time too.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
When this, when this good night happened?
Speaker 2 (14:02):
When the good night? When when he raped her? Yeah,
they they I think I think it was like the
beginning of their relationship.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
So she so, she she's saying he assaulted her, and
then later on they got together again and then she said,
we had a good night.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Yeah, like a closure night.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
I think she said, we said they were having a
closure conversation, and in that conversation she was basically telling
me I'm moving on, I'm done. And then he showed
up and was like, you know, basically like as if
he was coming to take her from one last time,
but she didn't want it. So that's when she said
she he raped her, and then later on they linked
up again to have consensual sex. And then that's when
she was asked, well, why did you do that if
you had just you know, got assaulted, And she was like, well,
(14:36):
because you know, we've been together ten years and we
had a good night, and you.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
Know, in those ten years and the traumatic things that
she went through, I don't think we could ever understand
put ourselves in her mind, the.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Mental you'd get assaulted and then later on be like,
let me go back to the guy who just you
know assaulted me, and then we we had a good night.
Speaker 2 (14:57):
I mean. Another example is the video fog that we
saw the full fifteen minutes was released, you know, the
video of did he assaulting and beating Cassie in the
hotel room. She went to an event with him that
night that night, because you could tell she was trying
to leave right and then later on in the evening
she went back and went to an event with him
(15:18):
that evening. But all the time, all the time with
these miserable, so broken, they're so broken and they've you know,
did he trained her to think that that was what
love is?
Speaker 1 (15:32):
And then also you're dealing with the guy who was
very powerful too.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
In length about how she's in therapy now because of
her husband, because she was dealing with so much, so
much PTSD from being in that relationship for ten years
that she's you know, in therapy now. She's still, by
the way, has to be cross examined. She she wrapped
up her testimony towards the end of the day and
they were ready to do the cross and the judge
was like, let's stop this now. We'll start tomorrow fresh
(15:57):
and clean, and you guys can start your cross. So
we'll see, we'll see what kind of narrative the defense pushes.
But I also saw a lot of people that were
in that courtroom coming out and being like, Hey, has
the prosecution done a fantastic job of setting it up
that Diddy is an abuser? And a horrible person, yes,
But has the prosecution done anything to lay out rico
charges sex trafficking. No, But you have to believe that
(16:20):
they're working up to us. I mean, Cassie's a character witness.
We're learning about how just horrible of a human did
he is. I think that's their way of establishing like,
if if he can do this, guess what else he
can do. But we will see. Cross examination with Cassie
will begin today. All right, let's go to dead And
we had a lot of a lot of big time
moments with Karen Reid yesterday, John's niece took the stand. Now,
(16:42):
because she's in her age, we weren't allowed to see it,
but the transcripts came out, and you know, she kind
of details what it was like to have eyes on
the relationship of John O'Keefe and Karen Reid, and it
was not good, you know, towards the end of the relationship.
Well towards the end, it was constant fighting. It was
(17:05):
John being like, this is done. We have fizzled it out.
She said, at one point they got it in an
argument and John was mad, so he left the house
and she said, at that point, I didn't even know
that he had left and he needed to get a
breather and she heard Karen call him and lie and
say you have to come back. Your niece and nephew
want to see you. And she's like, I didn't even
(17:27):
know he was gone, like things like that, which then
led me to believe remember the voicemails, Yeah, I got
a dough that'st tire nace. And now so it's like
I think she used the kids as like a that
was that was a hot bun. That was a hot bun.
I thought. The biggest moment of her testimony is when
she said she, you know, had gone to bed around midnight.
All of a sudden, Karen comes into her room freaking out, screaming, yelling,
(17:52):
told her to text John, and then basically said I
overheard her say multiple things including could have happened? Could
I have done something? She said the words could he
have gotten hit by a plow? She then went on
to say she heard her say maybe I hit him.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
It all goes back to that, and we keep circling
back to that, and that's the emotion that I feel.
It's like she keeps saying it in the moment, and
then we can't forget that she was hammered.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, she said it to so many people. I was
telling AJ this morning, I saw this video of a
girl and it was like a seven second video, and
she goes, I know this is going to offend people,
but I am genuinely asking this question, and this is
I feel like, this is this trial in the simplest
of forms, she said. Karen Reid says, I saw him
(18:39):
get out of the car and go into that house.
She says it on repeat. I saw John get out
and I saw him going to the house. But then,
why to every single person that morning did she say
maybe I hit him, Maybe I hit him, Maybe I
hit him. If you physically saw him go in that house,
why is that even a conversation?
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Right?
Speaker 2 (18:58):
Why are you even uttering those words? You didn't hit him.
You saw him going to the house.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
Right, Yeah, but when you're drunk, you don't really know
what's going on.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
But I mean, I saw him go in the house. Okay,
So why would he get hit by a plow? You
don't know he's on the lawn at that moment.
Speaker 3 (19:15):
Your mind plays tricks on you and you're kind.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Of like seeing him going to the house.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Maybe that's what I'm saying. So she's probably like, yeah,
maybe he didn't go in the house. Maybe I did.
Maybe I thought he maybe I saw him leave the car,
but I thought he went into the house and then
I hit him.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
I just thought that was interesting because this girl is like,
I don't follow everything, and I know people are gonna
get mad at the question. But how if she continually
says I saw him go in the house, it is
a valid question. And then you hear that the first
because if you think about it, the niece is the
first person that Karen had a conversation with because she
went into her room freaking out. That's the first person
(19:50):
that we know of. And she says those things. Did
I hit him, maybe got hit by a plow, you
know what could have happened, And that is when the
snowball happens, where she says, can you call Jen McCabe? Remember,
and then the niece called Jen McCabe, and then then
it starts. Then it begins. So we also saw a
forensic analyst on the stand who said she was able
(20:12):
to extract pieces of glass and a piece of John's
hair on the car. Obviously, the defense gets up and
goes if that car was driven around seven hundred times
in a storm, how does the hair stay on? But
another big time moment from court yesterday that went viral.
I'm smiling because I just like this is this is crazy.
So there's a police officer on the stand, Yanetti is mad,
Yanetti asks for a sidebar. This moment is going viral
(20:35):
because Yanetti has an attitude you can tell, and it
really does sound if you listen to this, like BEV says, yeah,
you can get the sidebar and then calls them an
ass blank.
Speaker 3 (20:51):
I need to be heard at the sidebark. I will
hear you, dude.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
It sounds like she whispers, which I'm sure there's that
feeling like back and forth, right because for a couple
of he has.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Been like.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Like he literally walks up, He's like, good morning, so
and he's just mad, you know yeah, So, I mean listen,
could she have said it yet? But that's so inappropriate,
It's so inappropriate.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
The MIC's the hot guys, just remember that.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Listen to it one more time.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
I need to be heard a side park.
Speaker 8 (21:26):
I will hear you.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
Yes, it definitely he was still demanding.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
You know if that's definitely what she said and they
able to pull that up. They can get her kicked off.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Yes they can really, Yes.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
That's because yes, that's that's unprofessional, like she shouldn't be
doing nothing like that.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Now most people online are like, you know that everybody's
miked up. Maybe it wasn't her that said it. I'll
give it to you one more time.
Speaker 3 (21:52):
I need to be heard of side park.
Speaker 8 (21:55):
I will hear your.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Mic was hot or something.
Speaker 7 (22:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
I agree with her. He has been pretty tough. But
you're you're you're a judge chunning.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
I wonder if the lady who's speaking into that thing.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Caught it because you know, or she said it.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
Yeah, but she's not checked, are her.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
She's the only one who's really sending in front of
a mic.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
But by the way we're saying, Mike, they're sitting in
front like because correct.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
Yeah, but once you step off the podium, you can't
really hear she.
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Turns to the sidebar. She shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
Yeah, but she's the one who's always constantly in front
of a mic. Even your Nettie and whatever, any one
of the attorneys, whenever they're at the podium, you can
hear them clear as soon as they maybe go to
the desk to grab some and they still talking. It
almost sounds like they are mad, because even.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
When I watched this, I gotta put the volume up
all the way on my iPhone because.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Yeah, and that was the only female voice that was
in front of him. Who else?
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Oh my god. That's three things you need to know
for Thursday, May fifteen. Don't forget about the easiest way
to catch up on the show down the free iHeartRadio
app and search a s h L double e and Morning.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
And the Morning Show with DJ Feign. It's such a
good morning.
Speaker 5 (23:12):
Bustin's number one for hip hop jam in ninety four
or five.
Speaker 2 (23:18):
Hi, everybody, good morning. Do we do we believe that
we have to take somebody at face value when they
say I don't want anything for my birthday?
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Well, I think he should, especially in a marriage or
a relationship. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
I don't know either.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Sometimes I think that's a true question.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Which is so stupid. Why not honest and say I
want this?
Speaker 3 (23:38):
People like to play games?
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Yeah, thank you?
Speaker 9 (23:40):
Okay, yeah, but I feel like more so girls, yes,
Because like I'm referring to the fireman, his birthday is
literally on Sunday, and I haven't gotten him one thing
because every time I ask, he.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Says, I kind of feel like he's yeah. But I
I love gift giving and I loved I love so
much buying gifts, but I also don't like wasting my money,
and I feel like if I were to get him something,
it would be a waste.
Speaker 3 (24:07):
Unlike you, Ashley, he appreciates anything.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Well. Listen. I took the child to a store and
let her pick out a couple of things, which was hilarious.
She was pissed when I told her she couldn't get
the dinosaur that you put on your hand. That's a
hand puppet. But yeah, I just I don't know. It's
it's frustrating because then I feel like you look bad
when you don't have anything. He asked for two things specifically,
(24:31):
one of which was dinner. The other I cannot say
on the radio, so you can only imagine.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
You are going to give them easy.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
I can do dinner. And this is you know, he
really is, but stressful because I want to shower.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Him and you want somebody to enjoy the gift that
you give.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
I do. And remember this is coming off the weighted
best conversation. So I feel like I got to step up.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
I feel like I know what he wanted for his
birthday just by thinking about it, and he will be
very happy. If if I got presented that any day
of like, oh my god, I would be in heaven.
So trust me, he's going to be a happy man.
Speaker 4 (25:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
I mean he's a simple man with simple pleasures, and
he's really not like to be honest, his ideal birthday
would be him going to Santarpo's, having pizza, having a
couple of drinks, going home, having sex, and going to sleep.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Sound like a good night. You want to give him
a gift?
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yeah? Why, I feel like that's what you're supposed to.
Speaker 1 (25:33):
Why not gift him the weight vest that he gifted
you and just give it back, Like, hey, bo, I.
Speaker 3 (25:41):
Don't think man gets upset out, but he's definitely giving
you the sign.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
You'll get him like fifty pound dumbbells and wrap them up.
Yeah right, And just like, hey, you said one time
in our eight years of existence, you like lifting weights.
What do you think I was listening? No, So he
just bought the Toyota four Runner, So I looked into
because he had one point mentioned that he wants to
get it, maybe lifted with new tires, but he's like,
(26:08):
I'm just going to use the stock tires until they're done,
and then because I potentially paid for them. And he's like,
and then once those are done, yes, at some point,
you can get me new tires. But right now, that's yeah.
And then I thought, okay, maybe I'll be corny and
get them the little air freshener thing with the girls
pictures on it. And but I mentioned it to him
because I didn't want to and he's like, yeah, no, yeah,
(26:29):
I would put that up. I wasn't really getting a
lot of feedback there.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah, with the fore Runner, you can aze a lot
of things.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
I googled, but I don't know what, like a bunch.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
Of stuff you could get. You could get bump of guards,
you could get better wheels and tires. You could, you know,
get some stuff for him for camping. You like to
stop on a roof rail, you could get him, you know,
one of the roof frail thinges that carried you know,
all his stuff on the top, one carrying camping stuff.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Doesn't he want to camp at some point?
Speaker 3 (26:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Would I think he would go off to camp.
Speaker 1 (27:03):
It sounds like you want to get him something that
you want to give.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
That's what I just said. She wants to be happy
with the gift.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
That yes, yes, yeah, why you buy him a.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Diamond that he would be like. Now, he would be like, yo,
I want I want an extra tie on the back
of my car.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
She like, no, that's stupid, Like I don't want that.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
I don't want that.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I sent from all that sounds nice. Yeah, I mean
even with my mother, my mother's begging and please, please please.
So finally he was like, can you get me a
gift card to this restaurant in Marshfield so that I
can go out.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
He's just listen at this point, like I just want
dinner and time. That's all I want for my birthdays
and things like that. Getting a gift is it's fun,
but it's also like the time one.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Also, a gift for us is like a night out
of having to do bedtime and you know all that.
So that's what we're doing. We're going out Saturday night.
We are. But he there has to be something I
have to.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
He already asked her, and you said you were going
to give.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
It to him.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
Yeah, I know, but that's not it extra ext that's
that comes.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I can't it definitely is.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
I think the idea again something for the truck is
kind of fine, I agree, But does it have a
roof rail already? I don't know, ye find out if
it doesn't have one. Maybe again some with the roof
rail where he can you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (28:20):
But what's he putting up there?
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Anything? Anything? No, you're thinking of the bike's going the
back on a bike. Actually, that might be a good
idea too, if it doesn't have a hitch. Get him
a hitch. Those things are expensive.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
I'm thinking for Father's Day of getting him. I was
going to talk to you about this a different time
for him, but I'm thinking about get him in a bike,
getting a bike where you can put the kids in
seats on the bike. I feel like he would like that.
You're not.
Speaker 1 (28:47):
You guys call me a sip when I see guys
with like kids on the back of bikes, since like
hauling kids, that's like that means.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Bitch to you because they're driving around?
Speaker 7 (28:57):
What?
Speaker 2 (28:58):
Yeah, really do.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
You forget that? Don't do that.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
I can't drive around with their kids.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
They could, they could, but they gonna get laughed at.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Little simboard of Marshfields.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
Actually in the jam In Morning Show with DJ fourn
and Santi.
Speaker 5 (29:18):
When you need to know, No, we got you three
things you need to know on Boston's number one for
hip hop and the best throwbags. She haven't any more vibe.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
The Knicks thought there was gonna come into the garden
sitting next to Timothy Chamblay, He's wearing his sunglasses and go,
hey Timmy, Hey, tim I'll see on Monday night. Because
they forgot about the heartbeat of this city, about the
heart beat of this team. They forgot about the eighteen
World Championship. They forgot that the New York Knicks haven't
won a series that mattered in thirty years.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
You can't forget about them. You can't count them out.
And I appreciate that effort last night, no JT. But
the Celts made it happen Thursday, May fifteenth, Living to
see another day two. They looked, dude, Jalen Brown, say
give me a minute. Okay, I'm the MVP of the Finals.
You're gonna go ahead and give me a second. We've
(30:10):
said it a million times. If I'm this team and
I'm hearing this narrative, well, let's talk about next season.
The season after. It's a minimum eight to nine months
until we see Jason Tantum by the Seltzer done everything
Santy said yesterday, They're hearing that on repeat and Jalen
Brown's taking offense.
Speaker 7 (30:28):
I appreciate the fans that showed up tonight. You know,
it was a great atmosphere. It was loud, you know,
and uh, I know it's easy to kind of write
things off, but we still got basketball to be played.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
You know.
Speaker 7 (30:38):
I believe in this group, so you know, don't count
us out just yet.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
I knew they were gonna get it done last night.
I felt it in my soul.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
Theoretically it is very possible for them to make the finals. Yes,
in theory, yes, And I'll leave it at that. Because
they don't want to be next.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
They paved the way to make the road the hardest
possible rope. They got to play like they did last night,
and we need Luke Cornett to keep blocking people. We
need Derek White to keep shooting his literal eyeballs out.
This man, how did they say it, the beach ball
in the ocean. It was like throwing a beach ball
in the ocean last night for Derek White there for
a while. Everything has to line up for the Celts
(31:14):
to be able to make it to Game seven. But
wouldn't it be amazing what a heartbeat it would be. Also,
we did get our first post from Jason Tatum. He
was laying in a hospital bed giving the thumbs up.
You know, obviously he's two days ish out now from
his surgery. My mother goes his picture looked just like
yours because I did the same thing. I had my
leg up. I was giving the thumbs up because you know,
(31:36):
I was out of work for a month because you
you know, you can't put it's non weight bearing for
a while.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
So that first initial week you're just home chilling, right,
You're not doing anything.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
You cannot put. You could move, but you can't put
a single ounce of pressure on your leg. And then
eventually you get the cast cut off and you're in
a boot and your crutches and you start working your way.
Interesting a story got out of the call between Jason
Tatum's dad and JT when he called him after his
(32:04):
achilles injury, and this made me tear up.
Speaker 10 (32:07):
Jason ended up giving him a call once he was
able to. They cried on the phone together and Jason
was asking him why me, Dad, why me? Why does
this have to happen to me? And he said, son,
this is God's will. You're young, You're going to get
through this. And he reminded him that is in Kobe,
your idol. Kobe got through this. Jason actually had a
(32:27):
surgery from the same guy that did Durant surgery and
did Tiger Wood surgery. I had it the next day.
His dad said he expects him to be out eight
to nine months. He asked Jason, do I need to
come home. I'll leave Asia right now and go home
right now. And Jason said, no, Dad, stay there and coach.
So he said the thing he's most concerned about right
(32:49):
now is his son.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
Mentally, I agree.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
I think the mental aspect of it is like it's
a long road, but I think that's an amazing thing.
He does. Idolize Kobe Bryant. Kobe had this injury too
and came back.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
I would have left it at the Kobe won because
Tiger Stove walking around with a limb okay too. Yeah,
Kobe done, Yeah, Cory, Kevin Durant done.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
It's so crazy to think, like you see how messed up.
Jason Tatum was when he did it. When Kobe did
his achilles, he got back up and shot fakers. I
physically don't. I couldn't have done it.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
I don't.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Kobe's mama mentality is different.
Speaker 8 (33:20):
I mean, you keep talking about it feels like a
dead footing walked out there. I don't even know dangling there.
Either way, I think that the Celts had a point
to prove. I think that they did it for their guy.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
And we have a chance now Game six tomorrow night,
ap M tip in NYC Diddy or Karen Reid. Let's
go to New York. Then, speaking of h Didny's former
girlfriend Cassie's still on the stand. Yesterday we went through
more testimony with her about, in fact, how many freak
(33:56):
offs did she attend? She said so many. I couldn't
count hundreds. She said that they were so bad she
would get UTIs because remember she said, sometimes the freak
coffs would last thirty six to forty eight hours. And
she said she would get UTI's so frequently that the
antibiotics stopped working for her. She would have massive sores
in her mouth. And they said, well, how did you
(34:18):
cope with the pain to get you know, you had
another freak off to go to in just a few days,
and she said, oh, it's I drugged myself. Like that
was really the only way.
Speaker 11 (34:27):
You know.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
When it came out that Diddy paid Cassie so she
wouldn't publish her book, I remember the three of us
going back and forth like what was the number because
the number had to have been crazy. We never found
out the number. But I also remember the three of
us being like that man paid her fast.
Speaker 3 (34:45):
It was quick.
Speaker 2 (34:46):
It was with the quickness, so you knew that there
was a little guilt because Benny was like, I don't
want it, giving the shelves. It'll be a number one
best seller, and I I don't want to getting out there.
We actually found that in court yesterday. Cassie said thirty
mil or I'm publishing, and in less than twenty four
hours did he said, don't publish, here's twenty mil.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
And she took it tax free.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
I assume too, twenty million dollars. And then you hear
her stories and I'm like that wasn't enough.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
As a guy, I don't understand what it's like to
have a bladder infection and all that stuff. But I've
seen and heard other people talk about it. The fact
that he made her continue and go through that. Can
only imagine what that must have been.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
I've never had a UTI, but a lot of my
friends have, and same thing. That's like misery for them.
And to just know that you're just continually going to
get them and you have these sores in your mouth
and you're expected to go back out there and perform
for him, Like it's.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Oh, when she talks about being addicted to opia, it's
like I understand, Like I can only imagine.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
It, Yeah, because how else do you right, how else
do you do something like that?
Speaker 3 (35:49):
And just I mean listen, And I said it yesterday,
And I know finess is not the best word, but
if they knew what they were doing, then they got
paid and she got to speak her truth. I hold
this ends up bringing closures. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
We also found out yesterday that Cassie had reached out
to Diddy after the relationship for closure that turned abusive
on Ditty's part. She said that did he raped her?
And then they asked her, all right, well after that incident,
did you see Diddy again? Did you ever have sex
with him? After that? And she said yes, one more time,
and we had consensual sex. And you know, I saw
(36:24):
a lot of people online being like how how And
that worries me because I'm like, what if somebody in
the jury is thinking the same way. But you can't,
like you don't know what it would feel like to
be under the rule. I mean, really like the rule
of someone like that for ten years and what they
do to manipulate your mind and make you feel type
of way like that is what Cassie thought love was.
(36:46):
She literally thought that I have to do all of
these things because this is love. I love him and
he loves me, and I couldn't. She even said at
one point, I was afraid he was going to do
it with someone else she wanted. She was like, I
will take the abuse because I don't wanted to do
with someone else because I love him. To hear, it's awful.
It's awful.
Speaker 3 (37:06):
So my only guess is that the defense is going
to paint the picture that you were willing participant.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
That's it.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
What else because other you know, the little things like
and again, you might have been coerced, you might've been
on a different mindset, but you know, you physically gone,
you know, to him after you alleged that he raped you.
You go on to Craigslist to find these guys. You
going to pursue X Well, you know what I mean.
But she I think she made a good point in saying, look,
I did these things. Yeah, I didn't even tell my mom.
(37:31):
She said one time she went to Connecticut and she
told her mom that, yeah, she was lying to the
mom and not telling about abuse. She was going to
see Diddy I think overseas somewhere, but she told the
mom she was going to LA to work even though
she was going to get abused. But they're gonna try
to paint it to be like, yo, you're just as
bad as him. You were into the freaky stuff too,
you just didn't like the way the end or whatever
they're gonna spin it.
Speaker 2 (37:50):
Two parts to that. I will also we also find
out found out in court yesterday that when he found
out that she used to date Kid Cuddy, he lunged
at her with a wine opener like he was gonna
to kill her, and then he also threatened to blow
up Kid Cutty's car, which we later learned he did.
I've thought about that foreign in length, like what else
does the defense say other than well, you were abused
(38:12):
and you went back, you know what I mean, Like
maybe you were a willing participant whatever. But I also
think maybe there's a scenario in which the defense is like, listen,
this man is horrible for those things that he's done
to you. This this is abuse, But we're not We're
not here to prove that Diddy was an abuseum one.
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Yeah, it's a character thing, but I think they're gonna
flip it and be like, you abusive too.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
We were out here to prove racketeering and sex trafficking,
and nothing that you have said is pointing that way,
so that that could be the narrative they pushed too.
But either way, if you're the jury, that could be
enough for you. The things that the things that enough
for me. Lock that man up and take away the key.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
But but what about it? They proved that she too
was on on some deviant levels as well, which I
think is what they're going to do to be.
Speaker 2 (38:57):
Like, they got videos, they've showed videos and but but
but again, I think all of the things she was
doing is because she was being told to do them.
Speaker 3 (39:04):
And that's what and that's what they have to convince
the Juri. I think they come back and say, like
you might be saying that, but you were willing to
do a lot of these things. Yes, this guy was
abusive to you.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
This is a federal case. This is a federal case
for sex trafficking and rico charges, and I do think
the prosecution is going to get to that. But right
now we haven't even I haven't touched that. So yeah,
she's a character when it's at this point. But she
will be cross examined this morning, so I'm only I'm
only expecting craziness out of the courtroom because that's all
(39:36):
that it's been. All right. Somebody wrote me this morning
and said, Ashwood, the hell is going on with the
music industry because this is this is spooky. We also
found out yesterday that there is a I can't even
say it seriously, that maybe Tory Lanes has a chance.
The timing of this is pretty interesting to tell you. Well, listen, okay,
the timing of it is interesting. As we know, Tory
(39:59):
Lanez was just airlin to a hospitals fam in critical
stab fourteen times seven to the back for the tour,
so tween the head, one in the cheek and now
all of a sudden, Kelsey's bodyguard is coming out and
he's like, Kelsey is the one. I'm telling you, Kelsey
is the one who shot Megan the stallion. The way
it's being detailed is Kelsey shot at Meg Tory Lanez
(40:23):
grabbed the gun from her, another two shots fired. Here
is Tory's lawyer.
Speaker 12 (40:29):
Long ago, Unite the People was approached by a gentleman
named Bradley James. Mister James informed us he was working
as the bodyguard and driver for miss Kelsey Harris during
mister Peterson's trial. Mister James informed Unite the People that
he was a witness to the conversation Miss Harris had
where she stated she had the gun she fired at
(40:53):
three times. Mister Peterson grabbed her arm and knocked it down,
and the gun fired to more times. In essence, mister
Peterson never shot anybody.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
Did Okay?
Speaker 2 (41:06):
But why didn't Tory then scream that from the roof door?
Speaker 3 (41:08):
Why didn't Cassie leave? Did he? We don't know why
people do what they do. Yes, we don't know why
people do what they do. But here comes the guy
who's her bodyguard.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Not his right right, That's what you have to think.
About this guy. This is Kelsey's bodyguard. This is not
anybody that was in the car.
Speaker 3 (41:23):
Though, oh he was the driver, Wasn't it no?
Speaker 2 (41:27):
Unrelated that the driver was the driver. This is Kelsey's
actual bodyguard, and that's what he's claiming.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
And didn't get Didn't she testify or did she not?
Speaker 2 (41:35):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (41:35):
Because why not just ask her?
Speaker 3 (41:37):
She testified, but she did it under immune She said
what Yeah, you're right. She was very vague about her answer.
She didn't want to answer certain questions, and she says
she didn't want to be held in contempt and she
refused to answer questions. She didn't really answer too too
many questions. She was very like stand offish and defensive
when she was on that stand.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
You're right, what did she do? She she took something.
Speaker 3 (41:56):
She took like some kind of things, saying that she
wanted the immunity. And then what they out on stage,
You're like, oh, well, you offered immunity or something like that.
And she wasn't really answering questions.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
She really was a little shady.
Speaker 3 (42:05):
It does, That's what I'm saying. And then remember the
whole story is that this was a whole love triangle
that Meg found out that Tory was also smashing her
them to a best friends, you know what I mean.
And then the whole thing that happened at Kylie's career.
Speaker 2 (42:18):
Yeah, I definitely think that. Well, I'm not arguing that.
I think there was like a love triangle was happening,
some jealousy or something. But I just feel like, how
after so long, wouldn't Tory be like, it wasn't me.
Speaker 1 (42:32):
Three shots and I just held the gun and I
grabbed the gun.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
So she didn't kill her.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
He insinuated that though no he did. He kept saying
it was not me. Well, there was only three of
us the way before in the car.
Speaker 2 (42:43):
We will see by the way, I have a fourth
thing you need to know, the most important thing of
the day. It's Cora's eleventh birthday. Cora is in the
car right now listening. She listens to the show every
single day, and it's Core right today. Eleven years old,
the big one one baby that's actually my love key number.
I was born in eleven eleven. Yes, So happy birthday, Cora.
(43:03):
I have the best day. Your mother loves you, happy,
and I love her mother. She's very good with flowers.
There's three things you need to know for Thursday, May fifteenth.
Let's do Boston Calling right now. Six one seven, nine, three,
one one nine four five. It's literally the show for
everybody because TLC will be there. Fallout Boy, Oh you
don't like Fallo Up Boy, don't worry. April Levine's gonna
be there, not an April fan, Dave Matthews, man, whoever
(43:24):
you like, they'll be there. And I have two three
day general admission passes in six one seven, nine, three
one one nine four five Collar twenty five. You're going
to Boston Calling. Good luck, Dashy and the jam.
Speaker 3 (43:33):
In Morning Show with d J. Fourn It's saw Ticket Morning.
Speaker 5 (43:37):
Bostin's number one for hip hop jam In ninety four five.
Speaker 2 (43:42):
Hi, everybody, good morning, stashing the jam In Morning Show. Listen.
We're doing the check in right here, so check in,
call me, tell me what's up. Be a first time caller,
tell us a story. Uh, this is the point in
the show where we talk about anything you want, whatever
is on your mind. Six one seven, nine three one
one nine five six one seven nine three one one
(44:03):
nine four five. Obviously we can't watch the Diddy trial,
and so we're just hearing from these journalists and media
people that are inside. But for the most part, Uh,
you're hearing a lot of people say it sounds more
like a domestic violence trial as opposed to these rico
charges and sex trafficking. And we were chatting about that earlier,
(44:25):
and this is interesting. We got this talk back.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
Good morning, Jamen.
Speaker 13 (44:30):
I was just actually having a conversation with some coworkers,
and sex trafficking is actually different if you google sex
trafficking and then you google the federal definition of sex
trafficking actually different, and cohercion and force are actually on there,
so you never know Cassie could be the deciding factor
(44:50):
of him being found guilty.
Speaker 2 (44:51):
Well, both of those things are on the list for sure.
I see if if that is the case.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Because it's clear that she'd be in coherse and forced
and certainty.
Speaker 2 (45:00):
Yeah. I mean someone also mentioned to me, like Stockholm syndrome.
I mean, like so many people go back to their
abusers because that's all they know. I mean, she was
what sixteen and a half almost seventeen when he brought
her in, Like did he's did He's bad?
Speaker 1 (45:14):
And that's another point that it's Diddy and the power
that he had behind him in the fear that he
put into people's lives like yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:20):
Yeah, I mean listen, I've said it a million times,
just that video of him alone and what he did
to her like locked at man up, like I'm I'm
I'm good. He's horrible. And I keep often thinking about
Alex Fine in there having to hear his wife and
the mother of his children go through this again and
talk about these just horrific things. It's it's tough, and
(45:42):
today's the cross. So we'll see how the defense tries
to spin it.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
I mean, some of these lawyers though, sometimes like they
are like the worst people on earth trying to spend
in cases like this, and I know it's their job
and they get paid for this, and maybe they believe it.
It's tough to see that too.
Speaker 2 (45:58):
Well, it's funny too, because I see a lot of
people like there's there's some similarities here to the Karen
Reid case. I mean, for example, I see a lot
of people being like, you know, mad that the police
officers will say like, oh I hate Yanetti or I
hate Alan Jackson. Why wouldn't they Why would why would
these police officers love these lawyers who are I mean
(46:20):
nobody's gonna love Casey Anthony's lawyer. You know what I'm saying,
not gonna love that. We're not gonna love that that team.
But yeah, that's the lawyers. Like Alan Jackson's doing his job,
you know, hate them or love them doing his job.
Speaker 1 (46:33):
I wonder what percentage of them believe that you know
their client is guilty.
Speaker 2 (46:39):
I know we were talking about this software.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
And do they ever tell anybody?
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Some lawyers?
Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah, I think or is it better to not know
and just go in blindly with like your your defense
is blinding because to you they are innocent.
Speaker 3 (46:56):
That's what I'm saying. And it's a bag right because
the lawyers get paid a lot of money. But that
thing some people, I think some lawyers going to this
thing being like, yeah, this dupe probably.
Speaker 1 (47:03):
Think like oh Jy's they all knew, but they want
to go to but we gotta quit.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
They glove didn't fit. Yeah shrank, No, God, what an
actor he was, all right? Six one seven nine three
one one nine four five six one seven nine three
one one nine four five call us. We're talking about
anything you want, whatever is on your mind. It's the
check in only on JAM ninety four to five morning.
(47:29):
Hi everybody, good morning. It's actually in the jam In
Morning Show. It's so wild because we knew something seemed
off with the phones and we've been trying to call
our own lines here for the past five ten minutes
and we can't get through to our own lines. We
just had kiss one of weight also come down the hall.
Their phones are out, so don't call because the phones
(47:50):
right now are down. We've had this happen before. One
time we didn't pay.
Speaker 1 (47:53):
The bill budget cuts man.
Speaker 2 (47:54):
Yeah, one time we didn't pay the bill, which was dope.
A separate time there was like a tower issue and
the phones were down all day. So we're gonna do
something different here, and did you guys come through for us.
We're gonna do the check in on the talkbacks. Oh yeah,
So I need you to do download the app if you
don't already have it, put Jammin on, hit the little microphone,
leave us a talkback about anything you want. You guys
(48:16):
will love this more because you can talk here, you
know what, and you'll have to tell me who you
are and where you're from.
Speaker 3 (48:21):
That's very true.
Speaker 2 (48:22):
You'll be into it. So right now, head over to
the app. Put on jam and hit the talkback button
and leave us a talkback. My body is dying to
say the phone number because I'm so used to it.
But we're gonna do the check in here with your talkbacks.
Let's utilize the app because our phones are down. Hi, everybody,
good morning. It's actually in the jam of Morning show,
so our phones are down right now. So if you've
(48:45):
been trying to call us for the check in, I
appreciate you, but it's not gonna work. And it's not
just an US thing. It's a KISS one to wait
thing as well, which thank god, because when something bad
happens with Kiss, they'll fix it.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Panic.
Speaker 2 (48:56):
Everybody's in panic mode around here. If it was just
Jammin's phones down, we probably wouldn't hear from you till
Tuesday next week. No one's going to care. But the
positive is it's happening to Billy Costa, so that means
they're gonna fix it. In the meantime, if you want
to check into the show comment on anything we've talked
about thus far, you're gonna have to do it via
the talkback, or of course, you could leave us a
(49:16):
DM at Ashley nam or my personal at Ashley Feldsman.
Let's run through some of these talkbacks.
Speaker 11 (49:24):
Did you guys ever start that series Mobland?
Speaker 14 (49:27):
If you didn't, you should definitely binge it phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
I'm looking forward to season two.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
I mean, all right, which let me season one.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
I know, but let me just get this out of
the way because I know this is coming. The boys
have been watching Mobland and begging me to watch it
for a minute now, obsessed. I watched one episode. I
really liked it, but it's just I'm in this life
of I only watch maybe two episodes of something a week,
So my it's just not in my top tier right
now because I'm the last of us. Then The Handmaid's Tale,
(49:59):
then Mobland. So I just haven't got back to it.
Speaker 3 (50:01):
Number three. I was about to say anything after no,
it's three.
Speaker 2 (50:04):
It's definitely three. I just haven't got to it. So
when we go when I get back. I liked the
first episode a lot.
Speaker 1 (50:09):
First episode is good, but it gets better in this
last episode. Oh my god, So.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
She's talking about season two? Is it over? Is no
more episodes?
Speaker 1 (50:17):
The three episodes is left in the new show? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (50:21):
I love Tom Hardy, Yeah, I love him. He had
like a little appearance in Peaky Blinders, and I became
obsessed with him from there. His acting is amazing.
Speaker 3 (50:30):
Why do they always have him in jackets? He's always
got something on and that it's true. He's got another
show that you know, a movie I think that came
out on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (50:39):
Is all I'm gonna notice.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
If you notice anything lately, he always has something over
his upper.
Speaker 1 (50:44):
Body, maybe conscious of his body.
Speaker 2 (50:47):
I got a friend that has a twitch, and once
I tell people that she has a twitch, it's all
you notice. Like, let me live my life not knowing
there's a twitch. I know what is the I'm not
That's not my business. All right, more talkbacks.
Speaker 15 (51:02):
What's going on?
Speaker 3 (51:03):
Guys?
Speaker 15 (51:03):
Good morning, just checking in. Drove all the way to
boss from them to tell me no work. Now I'm
driving back to Manchester.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
What a morning.
Speaker 15 (51:13):
Have a good day, guys.
Speaker 3 (51:14):
That's tough.
Speaker 2 (51:15):
What what job do you drive all the way to.
Speaker 1 (51:18):
It's some sort of construction job that's outside and because
of the rain, that's anybody home or painting?
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Yeah that makes sense. Damn that sucks because you're coming
from manch to Boston. You're getting up super.
Speaker 1 (51:27):
Early at least the day off.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
True. True, tru true. You can realize we got ton
of talkbacks. Let's keep going.
Speaker 11 (51:34):
So I work in commercial sire alarm and I don't
know what happened with the chirper, but smoke detectives don't
chirp in commercial buildings.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Oh my god, she's back to the So you want
to explain something. Wow, this is crazy.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
Hold on cause I think I still have it here.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
So through the little break one on our story, go ahead.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
And So I bought these pranks. They are they simulate
the noise of that a fire alarm makes from the
batteries run out, and it sounds like this. So I
put one in Justin from Kiss studio, and then I
put the second one in his home.
Speaker 2 (52:11):
Back if the payoff wasn't good enough for him with
just the one in the studio. So he was like, Ash,
I have to put it in his work bag. He
needs to take it home.
Speaker 1 (52:17):
Yeah, So in a nutshell, it was going off here
at work. He sent an email to the engineers last week,
and then the one in his bag was going off
at home.
Speaker 2 (52:23):
The fire alarms here, they don't do it, would never
do that, They're probably like nobody knows that.
Speaker 3 (52:28):
No, I know.
Speaker 2 (52:28):
I know, but I'm I'm explaining to her because I
think she but yeah, no, I would never know that either.
Speaker 1 (52:33):
But things got so bad at home that he changed
out all the battles he.
Speaker 2 (52:36):
Thought he was going. He thought he was going mentally
inside expensive.
Speaker 8 (52:40):
To all I could hear was this like constantly and
over and all I would have lost it, lost my mind.
Speaker 14 (52:50):
Hey, guys, good morning. I just wanted to ask Ashley, like,
have you started potty training Lea yet? Because my son
is about to turn three and us and it's very
hard and it sucks and.
Speaker 1 (53:03):
I don't enjoy it and.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
I am not looking forward to the right of it.
Speaker 3 (53:06):
But I just wanted to know if you.
Speaker 14 (53:07):
Started that process here for Leila and if it's easier
for girls or I'm not sure I'm a boy mom,
so just.
Speaker 2 (53:14):
Let me know. Yes, girlfriend, I've we were already through that,
and if you missed it, I did a whole little
thing about it on my Instagram at Ashley Feldman. Twoe's
on the Ashley, But I tell everybody, I think one
of the best things I did was have like a
reward table outside of the potty and for three days straight,
three whole days straight, she wore no underwear, no pants,
(53:35):
no nothing, and we never left the home. It was
the hardest weekend ever. That was going store crazy in
the home. But it worked. And I walked in the
door yesterday and she was like, Mommy, Hi missed you.
I just did a big poop. She's very proud of her.
I didn't say that stuck.
Speaker 3 (53:55):
Look it looks like you.
Speaker 2 (54:00):
That actually never happened. So now we're lying. Now we're
lying on this stupid show. All right, more talk backs.
Speaker 15 (54:07):
Hey guys, good morning. Just seeing if DJ Forren still
lives in Manchghanistan, and if he does, if he's gonna
be having any car shows this year in Manchester, just
let me know on the radio.
Speaker 2 (54:21):
I guess they do not. They do not refer to
it as Manchghanistan.
Speaker 3 (54:26):
I've never heard that yet.
Speaker 2 (54:28):
I'm gonna start using it.
Speaker 1 (54:29):
They actually have. They actually have. Yeah, they at least
doing my town. They talk about it like that.
Speaker 3 (54:38):
Go start using it as well as a cruise shows.
They one to call cruising Downtown that they do every year.
Aside from that, I don't know if there's any other ones.
They've been doing that one for like twenty four years
or some and they just take over the whole of downtown.
It's old school cars, fire trucks pull up the homeless.
The homeless are they're begging for money. Yup. It's usually
eight to ten to fall something like that. I don't
(55:01):
know the exact day, but yeah, it's a good time when
you know the city comes together, all walks, everybody, all
sorts of life out there, you know what I mean,
as long as you can get past. But it's it's
really good. It's a dope show.
Speaker 2 (55:14):
Son. You have no other option like this is it?
The world is over and you could only live in
either Lynn.
Speaker 1 (55:25):
Or Manchester all day, all day because at least the
sun comes out there.
Speaker 3 (55:31):
Lynn.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
It's cloudy right now. It's cloudy there. I guarantee, I'll
bet my life that the clouds are all over Lyne.
Speaker 2 (55:36):
I hate you so much.
Speaker 3 (55:38):
Happy Thursday. It's rainy out there. Guess what we're going
to work?
Speaker 13 (55:42):
Man, So all those out there that can't get a job,
it's not that you can't get a job so you
don't want a job.
Speaker 2 (55:49):
Okay, A lot of positivity.
Speaker 4 (55:53):
Morning, guys. I'm currently on my way to get an ultrasound.
I'm having identical twins wow. And I just hit sixteen weeks,
so I now will be getting an ultrasound every two
weeks just to check up on them, make sure everything
is good and that they're growing. But I'm super excited
but also nervous. I hope that you guys have a
(56:15):
wonderful day. I love you all so much.
Speaker 16 (56:17):
Bye.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
That is amazing. Congratulations. Identical twins so cool?
Speaker 3 (56:22):
One is the one? Is that one? Is that time
period when when most people don't say they're having a kid.
Speaker 2 (56:27):
You know what I mean, because you usually wait the
first twelve weeks, like the first yep. So she's she's
just about sixteen, which is great. That's so idly, I
know if you could tell her a little bit.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
Here's one advice I will give when you have a
set of twins. Keep them on the same schedule because
you do not want them waking up at different times
because you will die. Keep them on the same schedule,
Wake them up even if you have to.
Speaker 3 (56:50):
How they're identical? Though? How do we know they're identical?
Speaker 1 (56:52):
Because you can tell by the ultrasound if they're in
a in like the same like thing.
Speaker 2 (56:57):
Sack, sack, I don't know, I'm making that up.
Speaker 1 (56:59):
Oh, a different. There's two different.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
The phone lines are ragging, the phone lines are rigging.
We're back, We're back. Let's do one more talkback.
Speaker 16 (57:08):
Good morning jamming. This is Ellie from Milton.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
By Ellie.
Speaker 1 (57:12):
Today is my fortieth birthday.
Speaker 6 (57:14):
Oh.
Speaker 16 (57:15):
I want to send a shout out to Santi, my
tours brother, and good morning Ashley in Feign. Just want
to say I'm doing a ten hour shiit today and
I'm still going to turn up tonight and tomorrow night
and all day Saturday, okay, and regroup on Sunday on Monday.
Speaker 2 (57:35):
There we go.
Speaker 3 (57:36):
It's my Friday too.
Speaker 2 (57:37):
Yes, you deserve it. Happy fortieth the Big four. Oh
you you are not a tourist. I don't know how
she but whatever, it's her birthday. Yeah, happy birthday. And guys,
by the way, thank you because that was amazing. We
have so many more talkbacks to get through, but the
phones are officially back up and they're running six, one, seven, nine,
(57:59):
three or five if you want to say, what up?
We have Boston calling tickets today twenty Good morning,
