Speaker 1 (00:00):
Kicks Country ninety two point nine, number one for a
new country, and there's picture. It's nine point thirty two.
Let me paint a little picture for you. You end
up in some kind of a jackpot, something goes wrong,
and you're turning to almost anybody for help. Well, you
turn to the right people at Kicks Country ninety two
point nine, because we've got asked the lawyer that we
present every Wednesday at this time with the opportunity for
(00:22):
you to ask questions. I'll tell you how to go
about submitting a question here in just a moment. But
first I need your help as we welcome Bruce Lshiner,
Attorney for the injured.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Good morning, Bruce, Hey, good morning card.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
How are you doing this Sunday morning?
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Oh just fine, looking forward to some really nice weather
that's coming our way.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
How about you?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
I'm doing great and it looks like the end of
the week though it's gonna be perfect.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh yeah, nice weekend ahead, lots of sunshine, cooler air,
Love it, loving the thought of it, and being able
to get out and enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
That's important. But not everybody can.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
Some people get hurt in situations like we've got in
today's Q question, and then they end up with a
lot of finger pointing. You've heard that, and you've seen
that before a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Haven't you sure? All right, well, let's get into today's
question and see what you think. You ready, I am ready, Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
It says my mother was staying in an Airbnb rental
import Charlotte when she tripped over a sprinkler head that
was sticking out of the ground on the front lawn.
She broke her hip and elbow. Hip recovery is so painful.
I feel so terrible here. The property owner says it's
the landscaper's fault because he was notified by the owner
(01:34):
about the sprinkler two weeks earlier. And the landscaper says
it's the homeowner's problem. She is stuck with big hospital bills.
Can the lawyer help us figure out who's liable? You know,
Once you figure out who's liable, and I know Bruce
can help with that, then it's a matter of what
you do about it. Bruce, You've got answers to those questions, though,
don't you.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
You know, I keep scratching my head and wondering why
every week, all the year, is the insurance company or
the race responsible party's sake. It's not my fault. I'm
not going to pay. But this is an interesting situation
because number one, apparently the landscaper made an error and
(02:12):
the sprinkler heads sticking up, So the landscaper would certainly
be responsible. But in addition, the owner was aware of
it because he called the landscaper, but he didn't do
anything about it. So the owner and the landscaper, in
(02:33):
my opinion, would be responsible. And this person was as
really significant injuries, going to have big medical bills and
lots of problems, needs to call an experienced personal injury
lawyer as soon as possible so they could get the
ball rolling and get both those parties to own up
(02:55):
to their responsibilities.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Right right.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
I don't know first hand experience, but I would assume
from our conversations over the years that there would probably
be I mean, for an Airbnb, you probably got homeowners insurance.
I believe airbnb provides insurance as well, don't they generally?
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, they generally provide a million dollars of coverage. Oh okay,
there's sufficient money there, they stop how to go about
and extract it from the responsible parties.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
I mean, after all, this is not a homeowner facing
a financial hardship. Here it all starts with insurance and
there's lots to go around. So you but you really
need a legal professional to get into something like this,
don't you.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
You absolutely do. And you know, unfortunately layman doesn't know
what the value of their cases right right. You know,
they're entitled to be reimbursed for their medical expenses now
and the medical expenses they need in the future, and
lost wages and pain and suffering is so much involved
(03:56):
in it, and you need someone experience and those how
to go about getting into how much they should be
entitled to.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
So the sooner that they contact a legal professional, the better.
And I'm going to give out a phone number here
in a minute to do just that.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Bruce.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Once again, thanks for your your wisdom, your experience, your knowledge.
There could be a better outcome on the horizon. Appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
My pleasure tide of looking forward to speaking to you
next Wednesday.
Speaker 2 (04:24):

for us.
