Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's ah, Good morning, right? Happy New Year, Happy New Year,
twenty twenty five. That's insane. That is really crazy.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
I think it really hit me how crazy it is
when we were talking about Henry turning two this year,
and I'm like, you were born in what.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Yeah, Parker's gonna be turning four in twenty twenty five.
That is bizarre, so weird.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
The nice thing about me being a two thousands baby,
I'll be twenty five and.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Twenty twenty five. I'm in ninety nine, so I'm always
a year above. It's kind of nice.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
You'll never forget your birthday. Never did you do anything
exciting for New Year's?
Speaker 1 (00:34):
No me either?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
No? Literally, the guy date he worked a double, so
I was just hanging out. I did, however. I cleaned
everything I own. I've gotten my car detailed. Wow, it's spotless.
I cleaned everything in my bedroom. I washed the sheets.
I'd like caught up completely on laundry. I dusted everything,
(00:59):
I wiped it being down. I scrubbed, I scrubbed the bathroom.
I scrubbed everything. So I started completely fresh.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
You know that is the way to do it, right there?
Speaker 2 (01:08):
I mean, I have not done an ounce of that
but well, I mean, that is such a fabulous way
to start your New year.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Me and my sister in law we did that and
then I went to So we have different strengths when
it comes to cleaning. I like to organize, hate scrubbing
and dusting and that kind of See I think I'm
not I'm opposite of you.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
She's opposite me. Great.
Speaker 3 (01:27):
So we tag teamed our house and it is immaculate.
I organized their closet. They have a whole system to
where how they get ready now because.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
I think it's life changing. People should be doing that.
Will hire you, Yeah, anybody can hire me.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yes, that's incredible. I spent New Years with my parents
and my brother. We went and got dinner and then
went home.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Yeah, honestly, yes, I watched the ball drop, watched Nashville.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
I didn't even do that. Okay, I did watch the.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Nashville thing and the music was great. Everyone there, it
was actually really sweet and dinner I was like, okay, wait,
this is really cool. One thing though I didn't realize.
So it's really fun to kind of reflect on twenty
twenty four and a lot of us, I know, feel
like we didn't really accomplish a lot. But I don't
think y'all realize the amount of things that Cam accomplished
(02:19):
in twenty twenty four. If you don't follow her on TikTok,
you really need to go watch her video, yeah, because
you know it is one of those things you sit
there and you're like, wow.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
I didn't. I really.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
I was sitting there and I was like seeing all
these other videos and I was like, you know, all
these people are doing such cool things.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
They had so much fun. Yeah, like did I travel?
Did I? Did I do anything?
Speaker 3 (02:39):
And a quick scroll through the camera roll and I
was like, oh yeah, Like, oh wait, I did get
a gold in the two hundred meters sprint in the Olympics.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I learned how to surf.
Speaker 3 (02:50):
You didn't Oh my gosh, was that in Australia you
did that? Or because I've heard the waves of there
are really sick? You won the home run derby?
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Correct? I did that? Was I did? I mean? Unbelievable?
Speaker 3 (03:05):
I know I did the game winning goal in a
soccer the kick, I don't know what that's called.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
It. It was like a it was like a bicycle kick.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Oh my gosh, Okay, my brother's big into soccer, so Okay,
he I'm pretty sure when he did that he was.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
So since he's big into soccer, you know, like that
may have a different term, technical term.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
So that's just the what I.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Call that's what you call it. And I've been really
big into the fitness world.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
And I saw you do like a like a pull
up and you and you moved side to side, And
I've been really working on fitness this year, so I
was able to get that done. I am going to
add that to a list of what Also, everyone's been
really big on Simon Biles.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
And don't get me wrong, she's great, She's phenomenal. I
mean she really was my inspiration.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Well, I I could tell because watching your floor routine
and your I don't know if it was your first
or last tumbling pass, the clip you put.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
You know, the one I mean it was. I mean
I couldn't get and you stuck it. Yeah always. I
mean she was my inspiration.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
I mean you nailed it like she did every Yeah,
so I do.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
I did. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
So when you really start thinking about all the things,
you yeah, I forgot, I dunked did and.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
Not only did she dunk, she dunked on Yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
So that was that was a huge accomplishment for me
because I, as you guys know, I'm five feet tall. Yeah,
so like I really had to train really hard to
her get that hy springs.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I mean at first I was like, okay, so on
checker shoes, like what was there a trampline under there?
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Like what did you do? And no, I mean it
was unbelievable And I think it's just so cool how
you're asable to document all of these moments.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
And I mean, you did more this past year than
people do in their lifetime.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
I know.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I mean, I'm just I so the year of twenty
twenty four, my word was unstoppable.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
And you that is that was you? Yeah and humble
and absolutely because nobody knew any of these things until
you put this video out.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
I like to be really low key about things, like
I don't I don't really document, Like I had a
few friends come to the Olympics cheer me on whatever.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, I couldn't go because I was getting ready for
my trip to Europe with the girls to go on
the cruise. I unfortually missed all these events.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
It's kind of it's they should make a.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
New event, like how there's the kathlon for track and
field where it's ten events if you compete in that
many sports, the Olympics like it should be called.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Something cam athlon.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Okay, so I thought they would probably come up with
something after you did that.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I did have you did haven't started that.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
I did have a meeting, So so there's now the
wow camthlon.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
So you have to do Yeah, it's uh, it's very simple. Okay, Okay.
We actually went really really long with that. Impressed. That's
my favorite kind of bit. I do that all the
time in my real life.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
I did an AI video AI generated video because I
didn't really accomplish many things.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
But we're just kidding. Happy one year to the podcast. Yes,
that's actually so incredible. Is that not so fun? It's
I just I knew we would get there, Like I
didn't have a doubt that we would stop. Like that's
one year of knowing Spence. Yeah, we've known you for years.
One year of making CJ laugh.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Oh my gosh, yeah, CJ, we're back, We are back.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
We are so no.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
I just I was kind of doing like a little
joke on the trend because there is an actual trend
going around. So like I feel like I didn't acomplish
much in twenty twenty four, and then it's.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Like all these really sweet, they're great videos, I like,
very sweet and sentimental and yeah, like.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Everyone dancing with their friends and like running into waves.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
And you know, books and travel and all the things.
I didn't travel this year. Really.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I went to Nashville with you, and I think that's
literally the last place I've been.
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Oh yeah, yeah, I don't go anywere you. I've read
a lot of books.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
I've read a lot of books, like I have done things.
It's not that, but I just thought it would be
funny to.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Like y'all like it's I mean, when I say, your
jaw will hit the floor and you'll have to pick.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
It up because it's really funny.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
I mean, and knowing knowing her like Cameron's like I've said,
she's one of the funniest people I know, and so
her humor behind it too.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
Oh you should just see me making the videos crying.
Oh I would have been I mean cry.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
I think this sprinting is what got the very end.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
It's like go camp go. I mean, it's hype.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
So AI is fun sometimes a little scary. I think
it's scary, but yeah, it's fun.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
It gave you it, like actually made you do all
of these things, like it was.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Y'all you had to get check it out outfit. Yes,
it's in the same exact outfit, same day. I think
you did.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
All of that. I did so atalon ky athlon. So
there you go.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
If you want to do that in twenty twenty eight,
feel free, because yeah that's the next one.
Speaker 1 (08:02):
That's weird. Oh i'll be twenty eight the next Olympics.
Oh my god, I'll be twenty nine. I hate that. No,
I hate that. Growing up sucks. In case anyone asks,
it sucks.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
My brother the other day, just casually conversation, we were
talking about childhood.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
I don't remember. He was like, day, that was twenty
years ago, and I said, shut up, Like I got pissed.
It was like, shut up.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
That's the fact that you can say twenty years ago
and I was alive with a memory.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
No, no, and no, it really doesn't suck growing up.
But like I saw TikTok the other day, someone was
talking about how the older you get, the faster time flies,
and that is so accurate true, And it's that part
sucks because I do want to take all this and
because this is a fun time in our lives, like
we really are, like living the best time of being
in your twenties and making mistakes, learning from growing. I mean,
(08:52):
then there's probably the most growth I've ever had in
any stage of life. And it's it's a lot of fun.
But I mean, god, it flies by.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
It's so weird that it's a new year, like I feel.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
So I will admit, I am this is probably the
most excited I've been for a new year because this,
for me really is a brand news stage of life.
Because in twenty twenty four, I still was an athlete. Yeah,
which is crazy to think I was still competing in
twenty twenty four. It's crazy to think that that only
ended last may you.
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Know what I mean? That feels like ages ago, but
also not that long ago. And again, so it's so weird.
It's really weird.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
So this will officially be my first year with no sports.
With my new career, I have finally launched all my
online fitness stuff. If you're looking for any fitness plans
or one on one personal training, go look.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
At Rileycatherine fitness dot com. I've got all of it there.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
I have lots of plans and lots more coming out,
but that's my what I'm diving all into along with
the podcast. And then this is the first full year
for me and Corey, first New Year's couple and meet
well okay, we met back in twenty twenty two, like
virtually through FaceTime, but we didn't start officially talking, I
would say until February was like after our Valentine's Day episode.
Speaker 1 (10:10):
I'll never forget.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
It's so weird because we were both going through breakups, yes,
or situationships in New Year whatever it was. Yeah, one
year ago, like I was, fully, that's so weird, because
oh my gosh, yep, that is so weird.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Yeah, it's it's it's really crazy. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
And then because Corey and me and David met the
same time, you and Corey met for the first time, yes,
and like me and him were more casual, like we
didn't meet and then decide like.
Speaker 1 (10:42):
This is it because we didn't know each other like
Corey did. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
Because yeah, backstory if you're just now tuning in at
a girl, Corey and I met online. He'd m me
on Instagram back in twenty twenty two, but we didn't
meet UNTI last March for the very first time, but
we kind of started facetiming and got more serious about okay, wait,
like like I'm ready to kind of see where things
could go. Like I actually do kind of like you,
like I don't want to talk to anyone but you.
And that started last February. Uh, I'll never foreget. I
(11:07):
competed at a meet and Clemson and he's in a
really sweet text and it just kind of clicked for me.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
I'm like, what, and I I guess had been in
a situationship.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
That was just not pointless. Yes, it was not a
very pointless It's embarrassing to even call it a situationship
because like we never hung out.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
I think that you guys just kind of like we're friends. Yeah,
and flirted, maybe.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
I think flirted. I think it was just yeah, flirty friendship.
I don't know. Anyways, that was that. And so then yeah, Corey,
and so it's crazy like this.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
Is our first official like start of a new year
as an actual couple and could be a huge year
for us.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
It's you know what I'm saying. So he says, I
don't know. He says that that I don't know. I
make jokes to David all the time. I saw it
talk the other day.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
It was like, you know those videos, It's like I
made four of these identical videos which everyone shows up
on your page, is meant for you.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
You know what I'm talking about? Those videos?
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Oh yes, well this one is this is how your
twenty twenty five will go. And then it said it
just huge word engagement. And I said, look, I told you, David, yeah,
and he said, Quaiette, that's funny.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
But you know, like men are so weird.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
I mean, it's not out of the completely out of
the Roman possibility. I'm not saying that like I expect
it by any means, but like we talk a conversation,
talk about future stuff. Like it's not like and it's
it's so weird for me to like say that and
like have those conversations and not like I want to
crawl in a hole and like bury myself alive. I've
(12:46):
never felt so comfortable in a relationship where those conversations
even happen. And I so one thing that was really
cool in the month of December, I actually got dinner
and breakfast with two different friends of mine that I
had not seen in a very long time, so that
was really cool. And one of them is most likely
getting engaged, probably within.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
The next year or so.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
The other broke up with her boyfriend, maybe like a
month or two ago, and just she was talking about
dating and how it kind of sucks dating now when
you're graduating from college and trying to like where do
you meet people? You don't really want to meet someone
at a bar, but like, yeah, where do you meet
these people? You're not on a campus with them, forced
to be with all of these people like you were
in college. But I was just talking about how when
(13:28):
you find the right person, and everyone says it when
you know, you know, that is the most cliche thing
in the entire world, but it is the most accurate statement,
and so weird. It is just immediately become comfortable, yes,
And like talking about being with just them forever is
not like it's like, yeah, I know, that actually sounds
so fun.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Yeah this is great, Yeah, like I want well.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Yes, like so so it makes me laugh too, because
like she was saying, your friend was like, where do
you meet these people?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Hinge? Well, so she that's what happened to me.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
No, it was so weird too, though, because I actually
know that's how y'all met. Yeah, we mashed on hinge
and then so we matched on Hinge. I sent so
I was at work when we matched. I sent a
screenshot to my coworker who's from that area. I'm not
from the area I work in, so when I'm swiping,
i'm you know. So I sent it and I said, yeah,
you're nay. When we matched, and Nick he comment or
(14:24):
he texted right back and said, come here right now.
So I walk across the store and he said, I.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Don't know how.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
I haven't thought about this yet, but you've described your
type to a time after time after time, and that's
it we shared.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Have we shared?
Speaker 3 (14:40):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
I don't know that that okay, I know.
Speaker 3 (14:43):
That, he said, message him right now, And before I
could even message, David had already sent me one.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Okay, I love it.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
I think we probably texted, snapchatted whatever for like two weeks,
and then we met for the first time, and it
was steady like hanging out like once.
Speaker 1 (14:57):
A week at least. Because how weird is it?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
I texted or he sent me his address for the
first time, and I said, oh, you live five minutes
away from me.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
It's a five minute drive.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
How weird is that we're practically neighbors, Like I have
to hit one stop, never cross paths.
Speaker 1 (15:14):
Ever, it's so weird.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
So that's the thing is she was saying she met
her last boyfriend on the dating apps, so she's like,
I'm just not ready to download them yet, Like.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I thought, I don't, And I said, what about a
gym membership?
Speaker 2 (15:24):
That's why I met my high school boyfriend was at
the gym, like even though he went to the same
school as me, Like I think a gym's a great place.
Speaker 1 (15:30):
I don't know. That is tough.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
That's why, like Corey and I talk about all the
time how happy we're.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
We never have to date anyone else that weeken like
it's it.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Is a relief, like I feel for people dating like
I it is. If I get, you know, pushed back
into the dating world, I probably won't try No, I
guf something falls in my lap. That's the only way
it's going to happen for me because I can't. I
can't try ever again.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
So that's why I mean, Quain and I really are
like wow, like he'll ran text me like I can't
believe I get to like just like wake up and
call you mine for the rest of my life. I'm like,
I know, like it is kind of it's yeah, it's
really exciting.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
So that's why twenty twenty five is just so exciting.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Like this is a just completely different year for me
than any other year I've had.
Speaker 1 (16:17):
So it's just a new stage of life and I'm
really excited. Oh it's so fun.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Side note, I should have said this sooner because it's
an at a boy at a boy Corey he actually
got the Braves four hundred.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Club College Player of the Year. Nice.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Yeah, I'm not exactly sure what it is, but it's
a big deal and he has a banquet for it
that we're gonna go to, and I'm just really proud
of him.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
So great way to start twenty twenty five too. Yeah.
Good accomplishment.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Yes, So speaking of accomplishments, Yeah, so I was about
to do the same.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
Do you have any specific goals in mind for the year.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
So I do have a good bit of like personal
growth goals and then also kind of dream and big
of things I want to do.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
I uh, Like I said, I just released all my
fitness stuff and I really want to grow that brand.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
I would love to grow in numbers.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
I would love to grow in clients, grow in people
who are trying my plans, loving them and spreading the word.
And then I also am going to submit a video
for Sports Illustrated Swim twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Yeah you should. I'm really excited about that.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
I've been wanting to do it for years, and while
I was in college, I'm like, well, like, what if
I got selected? How am I going to mistrack to
go do these things like I want to track in
school and all of that to be my top priority.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
But now I really yeah, I just want to go
for it.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
And if nothing comes from it and they're like, oh
sorry you were not selected, Okay.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Try again next year.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
It's really that simple.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
And at least I went for it, Like I put
myself out there on social media every single day. It's
not that bad putting myself out there again this So
that's kind of like I think that's a huge like
dream of mine for twenty twenty five, like big time
goal career wise.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's a good, it's incredible. I think you're great for it.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
And then at a girl Pod, I I think if
we could blow up and hit ten k a YouTube. Yeah,
I think that would be.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
Huge. M h yeah, so I would be so thankful.
Oh I would, Yeah I could. I wouldn't be able
to believe that, would be psyched. So I think career wise,
those are my top Yeah, I want to start a
small business this year. I haven't written. So.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
I have been into crocheting recently, and I just learned
that there's this whole sub universe on the internet of
like crochet ladies and all the things whatever. I really think,
do you know those like children's sweaters that people like
so I can do that.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
I watch the videos all the time and I'm like, oh,
those stupid sweaters. They're not stupid. Actually, they're so cute.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
They sell for so much money, really yeah, for a
children's sweater, And I'm like, I could literally how many
could you make in a day? Like actually like probably fifteen?
Like they're so simple and don't get any ideas. Not everyone,
don't flood this market. Yeah, only this is for each
They're also they're so incredibly difficult.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
It's probably what two weeks to make one. It's so hard,
not worth it, don't do it?
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Yeah no, But honestly, I'm like, why am I not
doing that extra cash please, And I also.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
So I want to do that. And then also I
need to.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
My graphic design stuff I need to put out there
and like do something.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
You need to offer that to businesses.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
You need to be like if you're looking for someone
to make graphics anything in that realm, Yeah, here are
my rates. Here's all the things I can offer and
do for you. And you should totally maximize on that
because you are so good at it and like.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
It comes so natural, like it doesn't it's not much
brain power, Like I should be like.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Taking those things seriously.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yes, Like our logo Cam made that made that our website.
It's really simple, but still Kim.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Kim made the website.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Kim has done any cute little things that we post
on Instagram that are graphics, Cam makes them.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
They're just they're fun, Like it's it's like no effort.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
And you're so good at it because and like all
I love making like birthday party invitations things like that.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
I do those for my friends all the time. I
do them for Parker's birthday parties. I do that.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
And like that's a service on Etsy that people pay for,
Like I could just like post yep that you will
do it.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
I think that's a great goal.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
I think you should totally do that, absolutely, yeah, because
you know another goal is to stick.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
To a budget and save more money.
Speaker 2 (20:47):
It's so funny you say that, because I actually was
gonna call my dad later and ask him he started this.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
I don't know how many years ago.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
A couple of years ago. He made all these different
accounts for him at my mom, I'm like, Okay, account
for the Jeep, and account for the Forerunner, and account
for savings and account for.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
This, and I do do that.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
I don't know if I can do that with the
current status of like being a student account. I think
mym'e still a student account because I got it when
I was sixteen and I haven't switched banks and switched anything.
And my mom said she thinks I can just go
online on the app and create all these different account
I should be able to.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Maybe different may have limitations with it being a student account,
but that's.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
What my dad thought.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
But I want to look into it because I would
love to have like my savings, yeah, my car payment, yeah,
my student loan account because Raley has student loans, so
each time I get money, I can divvy it up.
I want to be better about putting money in places
so that I have it where I need it.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
I have my accounts are like I have two savings
and two checking one. Savings is just general savings like
emergency fund. Yeah, everything extra gets pushed there.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Then I have sinking funds, so I save, like I
just started saving for next Christmas. I started saving for
like car maintenance, saving it for my car tag that's
in October. So like, I know about how much money
I would like to save for those, So every week
I just do a simple division and so then I'll
(22:14):
have it fully funded by the time and then done. See.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
And I do have.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
An Acorn's account that I started my dad made me start,
and it actually puts like twenty five dollars a week
into it.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
Nice, and so it shows what all I have after.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
A certain amount of years based on the age if
it keeps doing that because it's also investments. Yeah, yeah,
so I have that account. But I just want to
be smarter and divvy things. Utworks now Right now, I
literally just have checking in savings, and I put so
much in savings every so often.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
But I want to be able.
Speaker 2 (22:50):
To because I do have to then take from savings
if I need it for student loan payments and just you.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (22:56):
I just want to have I, yeah, my two checking
ones bills and and spend so I know which date
everything comes out, and so I just to make sure
they're fully funded for the week, and then everything else
goes to spender savings.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
Yeah, whatever, that's exactly I need something like that. So
I'm definitely gonna do that this year. That's top of
the list.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
I'm I'm also.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
I saw this girl on TikTok for twenty twenty four,
she did a she called it, I don't remember exactly
what she called it. It's empties year and I no
spend year. So I'm doing it for twenty twenty five.
So I can't buy anything basically why like frivolous.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Nothing frivolous.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
So like if I run out of hairspray, I can
buy hairspray, but like I can't buy I'm not gonna
have extras of anything.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Oh I need to do.
Speaker 3 (23:48):
We are using everything that I currently own, and it's
a lot Like I'm not gonna buy the newest concealer
because I have four of the last newest ones, like,
we're gonna use them all up until I'm yep, and
then I can purchase it.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Okay, I actually love that.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I'm doing the same thing with books. Can't buy books
this year, which is heartbreaking. I did set myself a
rule though, that if it's a series I've already started
and a new release came out or an author I
really like, Yes, I'm gonna give myself a.
Speaker 1 (24:15):
Little bit of grace. Absolutely, you should not buying clothes,
not buying shoes because I don't need them.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
I don't either, see, I only need it for certain
events like Rock This Out this summer, I'm hosting it again.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Yeah, I'm gonna want closed for that. Bet, I need
to be better about Like. It's also hard though because.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
With Amazon, since I'm a I have a store front,
it's different. But you're still though, I'm still buying those clothes.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
So, but that is actually a really good rule of them,
especially when it comes to hair products like product products.
I have so yes, so much shit, honestly, yes, So
that's yeah, And I'm gonna try to do at least
less one hundred percent less.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
But no fast food, which is difficult. That is tough.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
Just because in order to not do that, it's like
planning meals and being better because some people it's like
no fast food, so then it's just like you just
don't eat, and it's like, well, no, let's not do that.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
Yeah no, because that can be hard. It's hard to
like plan and prep meals. So yeah, I did.
Speaker 1 (25:20):
I grocery shopped yesterday, so I've got a meal prep
after this. Okay, I do have it.
Speaker 2 (25:24):
See, And I thought I have been pretty good about
like meals I want and then protein snacks throughout the
day that I want, and I just get those like
once a week on usually on Sundays, just kind of
go and get all the things I need like my chomps, yeah, popcorn.
Another thing I'm doing I got for Christmas is a
fifty two week Bible study. Nice Nana got me the
(25:47):
fifty two week women's one. That's it's a group one,
and I Chastity actually has it, and so I think
her and I and Peyton has it, are going to
try to do it together. So I really want to
stick to good doing that fifty two week Bible study.
And yeah, that's kind of top of the list.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
And then I go to church. My Sundays. But I
really want to make that.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
A priority to keep going because it's it's just been
like for me, it's not even a check.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
A box because a lot of people I go or
you no, like I'm not one of those. It really
is just such a big.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
Relief weight lift off my shoulders when I go, and
it's a great start to the week. Like I enjoy
going every Sunday. So I want to keep that up
just because mentally and emotionally and.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Spiritually, like it is really good for me to go
every week. Right, So yeah, good, Yeah, I should do
more of that too.
Speaker 3 (26:35):
I do have I have a Bible study that I
really should get into this year. I'm not That's one
thing I did right too, So it kind of goes
in with that. I need to be more intentional with
my time.
Speaker 1 (26:50):
I can relate to that big time.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
I think that would be a great thing to do
that I need to do because I do I have
a good relationship just in my brain, do you know
what I'm saying. Like I've never been one that really.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Does church.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
I just wasn't raised in church, but we were raised
Christian and like with the values and core morals and
all the things.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
But see for me too, where I go to church,
I also love the worship, like I'm a big I
love the band, I love the songs. It's really fun
for me to get in there and sing my heart out.
And then the messages were the church I go, I
do just and I'm like, oh, that's great going into
a week. It's just a good like even if you're
not religious. Sometimes look at it as like a motivational talk,
(27:38):
you know, it's like a little pep talk going into
your week.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
I just I've in the past just had a really
hard time between like my faith and then the religion.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Absolutely. I just a lot of hypocrites out there. Yeah,
so it is like really hard.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
I grew up in a small town and there was
like a divide of the Methodists and the Baptists.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
And stupid shit. I just it's just dumb to me
that kind of thing.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Well, it's because if you really are a Christian and
what Jesus wants does he really think we want?
Speaker 3 (28:06):
Like I remember we were working on a homecoming float
one time and a kid asked me what denomination I am,
and I said, oh, I'm Methodist, a great Methodist. He said, oh,
At the Baptist Church. We call you' all meth head Methodists.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
You know, stuff like that said so annoying.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Well, that's like it's like it's like I had a
girl told me I wasn't fully baptized because I was sprinkled.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
As a baby on to what do you mean? I've
heard that so many times. So I totally get that. Absolutely.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
I just have a hard time with like churches and things,
and I haven't been intentional with trying to find one
that I care about, right, you know, because like I
can find I don't know, I do. I watch videos
and do that.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Hello.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
I have found like really good like series and stuff
on YouTube that I absolutely am into.
Speaker 1 (28:52):
But I do need to find a lot of this here.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Which is like I said, a lot of it is
just like it helps you with personal growth and then
like when things pop up in life, like you have
someone you know, it is just a good comfort a
scene whereas some people are like can you imagine going
through what you're going through without God? And I'm like,
oh no, I can't think it's something somewhere to talk
to someone to safety blank. Yeah, So I think that's
(29:16):
a really good like spiritual goals, that's yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:20):
Something.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
Another goal I have is I want to be group
exercise certified so I can start doing like online pilates classes.
Speaker 1 (29:28):
I'm building a home gym. That's awesome.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
Like my dad and I have literally like insulation check,
sheet rock check, mudding check, like literally two by four's
put them up the whole thing, y'all. Like, actually, I've
been doing it too.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Yeah, that's been hype. So yeah, I'm building a home
gym so I can do videos. And I want to
be able to.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Teach like pilates and yoga. Yeah, because I've been really
into plates lately.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Ploate's core I bet, I bet it's a whooping it's
so good.
Speaker 2 (30:01):
So that's a huge thing. I want to be able
to do like online virtual classes.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Yeah, I would love to join.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yes, seriously, Yes, I I've been doing a lot of
boy jobs recently too.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
It's so empowering. It is empowering.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
I complain about it because I'm like, yeah, you're outside,
that's it is.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Yeah, it was flurrying this morning. It's that's crazy. That's
so exciting. Yeah, it was, it was, but it's been
so cold. I was wearing the dirtiest coveralls yesterday. But
you look. Oh yeah, I felt like a badass.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Yea. And David's been learning how to tig weled and
it's a whole thing we've just been doing. There's a
lot of boy jobs going on. I think this weekend
we're insulating a bottom of a camper. I know, I'm
just gonna yeah. Oh, and he got a horse, so
I've been doing horse things and feeding it. And little
did I know, I have more horse experience than he does,
(30:58):
so I'm more comfortable with damn horse that he really. Yes,
I didn't even know that. I mean, like we grew
up with like yeah, with the farm and all that.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
So if you didn't know, our family was the first,
like Yellowstone, like the White family.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
Dad told me about this. It's kind of cool.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Basically we have lots, we have land and or did
do do well. We still do, and I guess someone
tried to kind of take it, and like in court,
they went to court over the land. So we found out,
like Yellowstone, the whole inspo was our family.
Speaker 1 (31:35):
It is.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Like, yeah, we've been fishing at the pond.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
Really, Remember we went I thought you said no, no, no,
I heard that wrong.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Remember little we went fishing on the pond.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
I thought you said that you have been and I
was like, when I want to go call me yesterday?
Speaker 2 (31:53):
So yeah, we are the O G Yellowstone family.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
Dutton's why same thing. Yeah, that's what they got it, Beth.
They they were either crafting her after me or Cam.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
They were like, y'are just I mean honestly the role
fits and I'm like, yeah, badass girls like yeah.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Yeah, am I scared of ye?
Speaker 3 (32:16):
So you know, uh, Jamie, I don't ask who that is.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Don't don't don't is one. Don't hit our dms with that, please,
we have a Jamie.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yeah yeah, no, I actually I don't really know who
the jam you would, Well, I have an idea I
do too, but mah so yeah, we are the OGD
and yellow Stone. They wanted to make it more exotic
(32:50):
looking because so they took it out rather than being
in Alabama.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
I think being an Albamic kind of would have been cool. Yeah,
I should have done that because we have a barn, right,
I mean we have a barn.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Yes, So that is that is why Cam has all
this this experience for the horse. Because we grew we
grew up and so like and and even the other
side of my family to Land.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
They used to sell what's that called what is that
stuff called? What? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
You put it under gravel to make it not wash out.
What is It's not concrete, it's dirt. But like it's
like chirt. Chirt Is that the word hirt? I don't
think I've ever heard of herd shirt?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Is that the word? So shirt? What is chirt? Is
that the word church? Yes? Yes, Oh my god, wow,
you're a chirt family. Yeah, so we chirted you like to.
Speaker 3 (34:00):
We charted all the time, like people were like, oh
my god, Cam, can I get some of your chirt?
Speaker 1 (34:05):
That's so much shirt?
Speaker 3 (34:06):
I love your chirt and so they looks really good
and just like deposited hirt everywhere, I mean everywhere.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
I pushed shirt.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
Everywhere that shirt was, I mean all over the place.
Speaker 1 (34:22):
So charted it up basically.
Speaker 3 (34:25):
But yeah, so like Land, did you like the chart
or yeah, yeah, I love chirt?
Speaker 1 (34:33):
Wow? Wow, such a chirt family, I know. So we
did do that.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
You're overqualified to work with this horse, apparently, which was
news to me because I thought, like him getting this horse,
I'm like, oh, like his family grew up with like
cows and stuff.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
So I was like they probably had horses.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Also, because it kind of goes together in my brain, like, yeah,
we would ride the horses to round up the cattle literally,
so so.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Yeah, I just thought I had cows, they had horses.
Speaker 3 (35:06):
Apparently they had electric horses aka four wheelers, so that
makes sense.
Speaker 1 (35:12):
And he's like skittish of this horse.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
And I'm like, dude, if you're like worried about it,
he's gonna be worried about you, like y'all are freaking
each other out.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
You have to have good energy.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
You have to have good energy, and you have to
be stern with it, like you can't let it run
all over you because then it will.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
So I'm over here being like big dog with this
horseletly he can't. Yeah, I'm like, dude, you just grab him.
He's like, he makes me nervous. They run over me,
and I'm like, no, he won't, he won't. It makes
a good horse me.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Think of the TikTok trend of women in male dominant fields. Yeah,
you blow keep into that. Lately we've actually been like you.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
Should have seen me. I feel kind of she's just
even my buckets.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Oh my god, horse feed, medicine, all things, in my boots,
my ship kickers.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
Dude, Okay, now you're fire me up like I won't.
Let's go, okay, get on this horse. I will saddle
up right now.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
I won't. I don't get on them. I really like it.
I'll hold him, I'll help do everything. I'm not getting
on it.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
Why you don't have you ever thought of like doing
a slim of mounting the horse.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
And like a little little I'm like the least, yeah,
or we can do a slim if you like.
Speaker 3 (36:26):
Yeah, make it look like you're about to really just
gracefully get on.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
And then like it's completely up. That's perfect. Great content,
great content. God, Oh wow, hey I need you.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
But yeah, anyway, my my life's been country lately.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
I let mine's been boy jobs and I love boy jobs.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
Handy woman, Yeah, I need to get me some like
I need work gloves and I mean that and I
stole my dads in their mind. I want some like
that are like fit me, like, yeah, I might be
fiddling around. Oh I did buy my own two like
glasses and masks, like I want all the tool belt
that is.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
The people were like, you don't need that tool boy.
I'm Mike.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
I carry my switchblade in here, I have my measuring tape,
my nails.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
You may not. You may not need it, Yes I do.
I have to be able to grab things when I'm
holding this sheet rock. I gotta be able to go.
That was my thing.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
Like they're like, oh, you don't need that, You're just
wearing it for a video. Okay, okay, bitch, you do
it without a tool, please? Yeah, show us.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Are you gonna hold it and then somehow reach over? No?
Alasta girl, this ship right up? No?
Speaker 3 (37:32):
Sorry, do you have anything else you want to add?
Or I want to stay consistent in the gym. Absolutely
be the most fit version of my cellf that's freaking good.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
I've ever been and read more books?
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Oh, Corey and I both want to do that. Actually,
we have both said we want to do that. Our
goal is probably a lot smaller than yours.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
But we do want to read. My goal is one
hundred books this year. We said one every three months.
Three well that is when Corey came out. But then
I was like, yeah, that sounds good. You said a
hundred books in a year. Yeah, it's like two a week. Girl,
(38:12):
that's amazing. But I you will catch me doing that
at a girl audio books they count. Oh yeah, yeah,
you can do two it a week? Easy?
Speaker 3 (38:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Actually, well I'm on my walking pad working with clients.
That's good.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
That's a huge goal for me. Like, it's not like
I don't know if I'll actually meet that. It is
a lot of books.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Yea. I would be happy if I did a book
a week and hit for two. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:39):
So, but one hundred's fun, absolutely, And that'd be really
cool to say you could do a book a month,
twelve books in a year, that's a lot. I could
do that, yes, reading. I read more than Cory Dos though,
but I guess we'll see. Well, fun, this is so
I feel so good to be back. Oh my gosh,
I've missed this.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
Me too.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
So we look forward to doing this every week. And
twenty twenty five, we're we're attacking. Yeah, we are attacking
twenty twenty five. What's our attack for this year? Our
attack is hitting the ground running, absolutely, and we're gonna
(39:21):
be more consistent and we're probably gonna.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Try to interact with y'all more. We want to know, like,
what do you want us to talk about?
Speaker 1 (39:26):
What do you want to hear?
Speaker 3 (39:27):
Yeah, please comment, like, give us topics you want to
just give us questions, give.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
Dad jokes all episode. Okay, yeah, I literally will.
Speaker 3 (39:33):
If you want something more silly, if you want something
more serious, let us know, like please please drop it
in the CJ.
Speaker 1 (39:39):
What do you want to hear? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (39:40):
And also like if you have a favorite episode that
you thought that was I don't know, it sticks out
to you for whatever reason, whether it's the funniest, whether
it's the most inspiration whatever, I don't know, whatever's your favorite,
tell us yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
We can make something similar. Yes, So Happy New Year everybody.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
We love y'all so much, and y'all are the reason
we've had this for a year.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
I mean even making it a year is crazy, Like
it's wild.
Speaker 2 (40:04):
Like we've always said we don't do it because we
were like, oh, we want this to like blow up
and be huge, like even impacting and having one person listen.
Like when we see and we still have people watching
our videos and listening, I'm like, when do you really
think about Like that's actually kind of cool.
Speaker 3 (40:16):
Yeah, we've honestly retained a good following in viewership, whether
like I know, a lot of podcasts gets millions of listens.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
Blah blah blah, whatever.
Speaker 3 (40:25):
But I mean that we've retained what we've gotten, and
I think that's impressive.
Speaker 1 (40:29):
I know it's exciting. So we're just gonna keep going
up from here. Go kick twenty twenty five's ass.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Absolutely at a girl and at a boys, absolutely, don't
let it kick yours. No, you got it, I'll kill
I know, yeah, we don't.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
I can't. But anyway, we love y'all, Love y'all so much.
Bye bye,
