Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're backstage at our Hot ninety nine to five jingle
ball in the Mercedes Benz interview Lounge with the kid LAROI.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hello, how you doing. I'm not too bad.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
You've stopped at a couple of our jingle balls.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
That's true, and I'm stuffing it a couple more.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
And a couple more, and you haven't performed at all
of them.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
I haven't. Oh no, I guess that's true. Yeah, just
just watching, just watching, Yeah, just in the audience sometimes, Yes,
I do. I do love a good jingle bowl.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah. Year after year it's You're a staple here. We
couldn't do it that.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Wow. Really, thank you.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
I feel like every time I like to check in
with you on social or see stuff come up, you're
somewhere around the world. Are you somebody who likes to
be on the move or do you need a balance?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
Like what's yeah?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
I do. Being on tour is pretty fun until it's
like not. There is definitely a point where it gets like, oh,
I'm doing the same thing every day. I'm just in
like a different place. I try to like explore as
much as possible, but I would definitely like to do
more traveling, like for fun. Right, like less work because
I just I think I have, like would have a
totally different experience, you know, when you're on the move
(01:05):
and you're staying in hotels a lot, and you don't
really have too much time to like explore, and I
would love to see all these beautiful places properly.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
So is there anything that you miss while you're on tour?
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Like Gracie Evers's talking about missing her kitchen, I feel
like I would miss my shower.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Is there something that you miss while you're on the own?
I missed just my bed. My bed's so comfortable. I'm serious,
It's like the most comfortable bed of all time. So
I missed my bed. I miss just like getting in
a getting in a routine at home, you know, because
on tour it's like you're in kind of like a simulation.
It's just in a different I don't know, it's like
very like it's hard to explain.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, you while on tour accomplishing are or are accomplishing
some pretty crazy things. You recently played your biggest headline
show ever twenty five thousand people. Is it is the
name of the town Paramatta.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Paramatta is a suburb of Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
Okay, you're like near where you grew up?
Speaker 1 (02:00):
What is can you compare that feeling of having that
happen to anything else? Like, because I have no idea
what that feels like, So how would you explain that
to somebody?
Speaker 3 (02:08):
To do that in your hometown.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
It's it's insane. I mean it's also just like you're like,
I really hope I don't fucked this up, Like you
know what I mean? You like, it's like lots of
pressure to be like, I really don't want anything to
go wrong here, so it's just, uh, yeah, it would
be the biggest thing, and nothing went wrong. I imagine
some things went wrong, but now everybody at that show
has a story to tell. Some things went wrong, but
(02:31):
it was okay, it was still it was it was
still so much fun.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
It's the holidays.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I know that around Christmas time my mom always asks me,
like what I want for Christmas?
Speaker 3 (02:40):
And I'm like, I'm an adult.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
If I want something, I go out and buy it, Like,
we don't need to worry about that since I'm not
going to ask you what you want for Christmas?
Speaker 2 (02:46):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Is there anything that you want to happen in twenty
twenty five, whether it's realistic or not.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
Ooh, oh, that's a great question. I Uh, I think
for me this year, I'm really trying to get on
my health grand and get really healthy. I said that
lost year too. I probably said that multiply is before.
But I'm really like gonna try and do it this
time and just focus on like eating good. And I
(03:13):
eat so much ice cream, so I'm trying to like
cut back on that.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
And lots of TATA.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
We've learned recently. Did you know that we have TATA
and DC too? I went today, I shouldn't have doubted
you for I don't know how I doubt you like that.
Speaker 1 (03:28):
Anything like around the holidays that you do that's your
favorite kind of tradition?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Oh, a favorite tradition?
Speaker 3 (03:38):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (03:39):
You know. Usually my family we just have like a
like a Christmas lunch together.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Lunch that seems so low steaks, like in a good
in a good way of like it.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
It's not like we're not sitting down for dinner. We're
just having lunch.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
Yeah, we haveving lunch. It's always like a good, a
good Christmas lunch. This year, I'm excited to like, I
don't know, play some board games or something. I'm gonna
be in the snow this year for Christmas, so it's
gonna be really fun out.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Usually you've never been in the snow for Christmas.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
No, it's actually you know, usually growing up in Australia,
it's it's hot at Christmas time. Yeah, well crazy, you
have to report back on your first white Christmas. Hopefully
it's nice and cozy and hopeful it's nice and relaxing
and you can go five in a good way.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Hey, thanks so much for being here. We happy to
have your jingle Ball all the time you walk. I'm
officially extending the invite to twenty twenty five. I'm making
the executive decision if you want to come back. Why not, sweet,
I'll come back. If you guys will have me back,
I'll be back. I would I have been in too.
