Speaker 1 (00:00):
Number one on your car radio preset hand then New
and Improved Diehard.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Radio, ap WDA, Yes, and WD two seven three D Philadelpia.
I is Fox Sports Radio like Gambler.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Well everyone, and welcome back to another episode of Football
is King Here. I am back this week after a
one week hiatus for a.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Little bit of a vacation time.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Brace hopped in for me last week as always, joined
by Nick McLay, and today, Nick, we're going to transition
a little bit over into the NFL world. I've been
talking a lot of college but recording this on July fifteenth,
that's the Los Angeles Chargers rookies reported to training camp
over the weekend. I think I saw by Saturday the
entire team will be there as well. And then just

(00:41):
two weeks from I think it's two weeks from Thursday.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Will be the Hall of Fame game.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
It's either the thirtieth or the thirty first, But you know,
we're just a few weeks away from from some football
on the TV. Albeit the Hall of Fame game, nobody
meaningful will probably play, but we'll just be cool to
see some live football action in that NFL shield back
on the TV. But Nick it's getting closer and closer
each week that we talk. I'm going to dive into
some NFL talk today. But welcome back, and how are we.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Yeah, I'm excited. Like you said, we've been talking about
college football the past couple weeks, we've really started to
dive into you know, each conference stuff like that. Now
really getting into the NFL with you know, August coming
right up right around the corner. Everyone you know reporting
a camp, so you know, looking over some totals right now.
It's just going to be excited to look into, at
least just this side this show at least will be

(01:30):
the NFC. Maybe getting into some AFC next week. But
I'm excited to get into it. There's a lot to
break down, a lot of you know, sneaky teams, a
lot of teams that could really regress, so you know,
it could go either way. I'm excited to get into it.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, I really want to take a gambling centric view
at this At this episode, focus on a lot of
stuff we got our friends over at DraftKings, providing us
a bunch of the odds.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
As we said, this one's going to be full focus
on the NFC.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
So I'm just going to kind of flip around on
the pages at DraftKings and Pepper you with some questions
throughout the throughout this episode.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
So going to go to the.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Playoffs, this is something that I wanted to look at
first and foremost Philadelphia Eagles minus four hundred to make
the playoffs. You got the Niners at minus two hundred,
Lions minus one eighty five.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
They're looking like you're kind of your big players in
the NFC.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
But I want to do over the division winners big
picture wise, NFC North, the favorite is the Lions at
plus one fifty. The Niners are the favorite to win
the West at plus one fifty as well.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That caught my attention.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Eagles minus one thirty to win the East, and then
to win the South the Tampa Bay Bucks at minus
one oh five. So you got the Bucks, the Eagles,
the Niners, and the Lions as the favorites to win
the four divisions in the NFC. If you had to
pick one of those teams that is guaranteed to win it,
who would you pick? And one team out of those
four that will not be winning the division? Who would

(02:58):
you pick?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Have to stick with the Birds winning this NFC East,
I mean I know his history says that there's never
been a back to back, but I mean, this team
is just too dominant. They're also that they have the
coaches that they have. I think they are well and
their leaps and bounds above the Commanders, the Cowboys and
the Giants. So Eagles I think should be a lot
for that NFC East, and I think the Rams can

(03:22):
win that NFC West. I really like the Rams team.
I love Stafford and Adams obviously with Nikuwa, not to
mention him, but I love that team right there, that
core three right there, then Kyle Williams and that offensive line.
I love love the Rams. Mcfay, I'm not too high
on the forty nine ers. They lost a lot, they're
aging lose, Debo Williams is getting older, so I think

(03:45):
there's a lot a lot more question marks with that
forty nine Ers than the Rams. So I think Rams sneaky.
I will take that take.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, I'm very interested to see if the Eagles can
break that trend of the no repeat winners.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
I think it's two two thousand and.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Three, there hasn't been a back to back NFC eacht champion.
I think the Eagles were the last team to do that.
But then going into this year, you know, do they
do it? Are they the team to break that trend?
Ray Diddinger said it the other day. I heard him
this is the first time in his lifetime, at least
at the Eagles enter the season as the best team
in the NFL, like on paper, Like we know that

(04:21):
they won the Super Bowl back in seventeen eighteen, and
you can argue they weren't even the best roster in
the league that year, and then they go next year
they weren't even looked at as the favorite going into
the season. This season, the Eagles, it seems to be
the overwhelming favorite. You can make an argument that they
might have even got better. But so many of the
players on this team, our young players that are expected

(04:42):
to take another step up, sitting there at minus one thirty, I.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Don't know if that tells you more about.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
The trend and that DK is kind of buying into that,
because I thought it would be closer to like a
minus two hundred, Like just to look over at the
AFC real quick, like the Bills are minus two to
eighty to win the.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
To the AFC East.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I thought the Eagles would be more kind of in
line with that deep the Commanders at plus two h
five to win the East Cowboys plus five fifty, so
it looks like a two horse race there, and the
Giants all the way down at twenty five to one
as well, so it looks like a two horse race
there in the NFC East. You mentioned the Rams. I
want to go into a little bit more about that.
I'm a big believer in them. I think that they

(05:21):
could win twelve to thirteen games potentially this year, and
I like them to win that NFC West over the
forty nine ers. I'm expecting the Niners to take a
step back. Just tell me a little bit more about
why you're buying into the Rams, what you've kind of
seen from them. I think the biggest thing with them
over the past few years is they've made really good
draft picks and they've hit some home runs on some
of these middle of the round guys.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, like you just said, they really have hit on
some of these draft picks. I mean, Jared Versus probably
want to be better ed rushers in the league right now.
I mean we saw the season that he put up
last season in just his rookie years, So I mean
they've gone over their win total in four of the
last five seasons. They do lose Cup bringing Adams though,
and obviously we see what the Stafford can do with
a top tier receiver. He's had Calvin Johnson, he's had

(06:03):
Cooper Cup. Can you do that with Devonte Adams?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I win.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
I don't see why not. And even Pookina, you know,
mcveigh's put some crazy gadget plays with Nikoua to get
him the ball and plenty of opportunities. And Kyle Williams
in the backfield proven to be a workhorse defense. Like
I said with Jared Verse, they're still gonna be one
of the tougher defenses in the league. They're always in
the mix. So I really do like the teams. I

(06:26):
would take them to win their division, and even I
think I see him in nine and a half, maybe
even take him at ten and a half.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Two the I look at him more so like I
really like this Rams team, but I look at it
more so I don't like what the forty nine ers like.
I think Brock Purdy was a player kind of like
he needed a perfect situation situation around him, and the
Niners round paid him.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
So now he's going to be expected to play above that.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
And as you said, Deebo Gone McCaffrey, what does he
look like after battle in a full year injuries last
year from the year before being one of, if not
the best offensive players in the entire league.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
Juwan Jennings has said he wants a contract extension. He's
not showing up. George Kittle, you know, still a very
good player, but I think maybe.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
On the downside a little bit, and he's always good
to miss a few games as well. You know, how
confident are you in that that forty nine ers offense,
because I'm not buying into it, and I think they have,
you know, legit nine and eight to eight nine vibes
instead of an NFC West championship this year.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Yeah, on the same page with you. Like last season
they finished six and eleven I think it was maybe
I think it was six and eleven and they open
with ten and a half this year. I don't know
why it's so much of a jump with the losses
that they have, and like I feel like they're an
aging team too. They feeling like they're on the older side.
I don't know how accurate that is, but I just
feel like looking at their roster, they're one of the
older teams in the league. But like you said, Juwan

(07:43):
Jennings still looking for a contract extension, and behind him
you got Ricky Piersall, who you know, still needs to
prove something. He is a good player, not gonna knock him,
but he still has to prove some stuff. Brandon Ayuk
has been injured last season too. Not even to mention
Chris McCaffrey, we don't know about their injuries. Like you said,
there's just a lot more question marks I think. Then,
you know, I have confidence with with the forty nine

(08:04):
ers and then being at ten and a half, I
would personally heavily lean to take that under ten and
a half with this team.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Yeah, the Niners I think are gonna be one of
the bigger disappointments in the league this year.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
I think they're set up for now a disastrous season.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
I think they'll probably flirt with wild that last wildcard spot,
but I'm expecting it down here for the Niners this year.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Let's go look over to the MVP odds, the MVP Award.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
I feel like, you know, it's been dominated by the
AFC over the past few seasons, whether it's Mahomes, Josh Allen,
Lamar Jackson. You look at those guys as the top four,
Joe Barrow at number three, the number five and number
six players on the MVP odds according to DraftKings. Jayden
Daniels of Washington at plus seven to fifty Jalen Hurts

(08:52):
seventeen to one is number six on the list. Then
you get Baker Mayfield in there at twenty five to one,
Jordan Love at twenty five to one, Caleb Williams twenty
eight to one, Kyler twenty eight to one, Dak thirty
to one, Party thirty to one, and Golf thirty to one.
Stop the list there, Any of those guys catching your
eye in terms of an MVP for the upcoming season

(09:12):
from the NFC because it has been a you know,
an AFC award. I think over these last few years
with you know, those four big dogs as your elite
quarterbacks really in the league, all being in the AFC.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
Yeah, it's gonna be tough. I mean, like you said,
the AFC quarterbacks just produce so much numbers like Lamar, Josh, Joe,
and Patty. Obviously the top four right there, they're probably
your top four quarterbacks just overall in the league right there.
So they're gonna produce. They're obviously gonna be the favorites.
I guess if you want to go value wise, it's
I mean, with the Eagles being, you know, the top

(09:43):
of the NFC, I wouldn't hate a seventeen to one
bet right there for Jalen Hurts right there with the
value the difference between him and Jayden and Daniels. Jayden
at plus seven fifty and then Jalen Hurts at seventeen
to one, that's a huge difference. So I think taking
a stab at Jalen isn't really terrible, but it's I
feel like it's just going to be either Lamar or
Josh again. If I had to put my money on it,

(10:05):
I'd just put on the two favorites right there.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
I think a good stab if you're looking for a
value pick and a team I'm super high on is
Baker with the Bucks.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Those receivers that they have out there this year are nuts.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
I know Godwin might be a little bit delayed coming
back from injury, but you roll out mister one thousand
every year, Mike Evans, You roll out Godwin probably even
if he doesn't play the whole season for good, twelve
games or something like that. Abuka, the first round draft
pick out of Ohio State, Jalen McMillan. I mean, that's
as good as a four wide receiver sets as you

(10:39):
can roll out there, and then you throw in an
elite running game with Bucky Irving and Rashad White. I've
never really been the biggest Baker fan, but he's got
all the tools there, and I think the best team
in that division as well.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I think it's.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
A great RAN operation down there in Tampa Bay. I
think Jason Light is one of, if not the best
GM you could argue in the NFL all. I probably
put Howie above in but Jason Light right there in
the conversation, I think Bigger Mayfield could have a huge
year twenty five to one.

Speaker 2 (11:06):
Any thoughts on potentially a stab there with him.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
It's definitely worth it, Like you said, with the weapons
that they have in Evans and Godwin, in Buka and McMillan,
even Kate Otten two. And then they throw the ball
at Bucky Irving and Rashad White too, so they you know,
they like to throw the ball and they return all
eleven offensive startups. So even though Liam Cohen's out, they
still have that chemistry. They still got that you know,
continuity of that, this is who our offense is. This

(11:31):
is what's gonna happen. So they have gone over their
total in the last three seasons and I don't think
it's gonna stop this season. Just with their division, I
think this is the safest pick division wi the Bucks
to win the NFC South. So minus one oh five
right now, it would take him at that bigger.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Mayfield last year through for forty five hundred yards and
forty one touchdowns, the third most passing yards in the
league and the second most passing touchdowns. So the numbers
that there, I speak for himself. I'm excited to watch
what he can do in that offense this year. It's
been a cool kind of you know, revival to his career.
I was thinking about it randomly the other day though.
It's funny like Sam Donald just got paid obviously the

(12:13):
big contract by the Seahawks, but like the Panthers had
both Baker from Mayfield and Sam Donald on the team
and didn't really get anything out of either of them,
and now look at them both one hundred million dollar
plus quarterbacks. Transition over to the rookies. Now, I kind
of wanted to touch on offensive Rookie of the Year
potential Ash and gen Z up there at plus two
to fifty and cam Ward at plus three fifty before

(12:34):
you make your next jump down to some of these
next guys. But Tyler Shuck, however, you pronounce his name
ten to one to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year.
I'm gonna be the Day one starter most likely with
the Saints, tep McMillan at fifteen to one with the Panthers.
Anybody else really in the NFC catch your attention for
a potential Offensive Rookie of the Year because you know.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
A lot of these top players are all.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Primarily in the ANFC, and I think it's going to
be you know, hard avenue for for an NFC guy
to win this award.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah, I mean we just touched on him earlier. But
in Mega Buka, I really love just based on the
value of Baker, like he's they're gonna be throwing the ball,
and with Godwin, you know he's been hurt the last
couple of years. Do we see a little some regression
from Evans with his being what tenth eleventh season. I mean,
he's gonna have some wear and tear on him. So
I like Agbuka there, but other in the NFC, I

(13:23):
don't really like anyone else. I took Buka right after
the draft. I took R. J. Harvey. I really like,
I took that before they signed J. K. Dobbins. But
I really liked him in that system, just with Sean Payton,
and I really like we touched on it last week
or two weeks ago. I really like what the Broncos
did in the draft. But that's on the SC side.
We'll talk about that next week. But NFC side, I

(13:44):
think I just like Mecha Buka for offensive Rookie the year.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
Yeah, he's there at forty to one right now. I
mean I love him as a player and I think
he's probably a really good career. I just don't know
if he's gonna season enough production just because of the
lack of you know, it only can only throw the
ball so many times. So that's gonna be one to watch.
But as you mentioned, you know, if God wins out,
he can step in of a major role right away.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
And who knows how long Mike Evans can keep this up.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
For I'm not gonna write him off yet because he
hasn't proven us for a reason why.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
But when you look at the defensive side of the.

Speaker 1 (14:18):
Ball, Abdul Carter is the favor, the overwhelming favorite at
two at plus two fifty to win the defensive Rookie
of the Year. You got Jaylen Walker, he's with the Falcons. Correct, Yes, yeah,
he's ten to one in there. Any other guys you
know catch your eye in the NFC for potential defensive
Rookie the year plus two fifty for Carter.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
The next closest is ten to one with Jalen Walker.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
I mean, it's gonna be hard to go against Abdul Carter,
especially with what the Giants also have. They got a
lot of guys that they got to defend like that.
They can't just you know, zone in just on Abdul,
so they're gonna have to put two guys on the
edges and abull is gonna run free a lot. So
I think Abdul clear is gonna be the favorite. But
guy down the board, I really like Jday Baron. I know,
again talking about the Broncos, but I think opposite side

(15:02):
of Pat's certain he may see a lot of volume.
He may make a lot of play, so I think
the option is going to be there, maybe even Walter
Nolan for the Cardinals. I like him coming in there
making some havoc, wreaking some havoc. But other than that,
maybe Nick and Manwari I said he was one of
my favorite prospects coming into the draft. If he can,
you know, get some production in that Seahawks' defensive back

(15:26):
room with Witherspoon out there too, I like them those
guys making a run other than Abdul Carter.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
All right, here's a random award that people don't really
bet on that much. Still, if you think he can
win a bet, you might as well place a comeback
Player of the Year. The two favorites are actually out
of the NFC and number three out of the NFC
as well. Dak Prescott at plus two to fifty Eighten
Hutchinson at plus two to fifty Dak coming back from
that hamstring injury. He basically ripped it off the bone,

(15:54):
Aiden Hutchinson the bad leggy injury, and Christian McCaffrey just
was never healthy at any point last season. Those are
your three favorites. J. J. McCarthy an interesting one as well.
At plus eight fifty. I wonder how people would even
look at that, you know, voter wise, just because he.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Didn't even play snap.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Yeah, he played in the preseason, so I don't really
know exactly too much what he's coming back from necessary,
But your your three top favorites there coming out of
the NFC with Dak, Aiden Hutchinson, and Christian McCaffrey. Any
of those guys catch your attention. I think, you know,
Dak's probably the guy that's catching your attention most just
because of the numbers and being the starting quarterback for

(16:32):
the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
Yeah, just numbers wise. If he just puts up you know,
a decent year, it's going to look a lot better
compared to you know, a defensive step. But I would
take a stab at Aiden Hutchinson. I mean, we saw
what he can do when he's healthy. He's going to
be in the backfield. He's going to be a difference
maker on that side of the ball. So if you
really wanted to go somewhere else other than Dak, I
would go Aiden Hutchinson. I mean, we touched on the

(16:55):
forty nine ers and how we're not going to be
high on them this year. Not sure how that really
plays into Christian mccavrey season. He can still put up numbers,
but they can still lose. So I don't know how
you value that we comeback player of the year, but
I think the top two Dak and Aiden are probably
going to be. You know, we're going to be talking
about them in the end of the season about comeback
player of the year.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
All right, come Back player of the Year. I think
it's more of like a story type.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Thinga Marhattlin a few years ago, that scenario.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
I think this should be an award. They have it
in the NBA. I don't know why they don't have
it in the NFL, but a most Improved Player award.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
So basically I would classify, excuse me, I would classify
it as like your breakout player of the year if
you had to pick a breakout player of the year
coming out out of the NFC, whether it's a quarterback,
running back, guy on defense, at any position that you
have your eye on, but a guy that you think
is really going to come on to the scene this year,
who would that?

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Beit, that's a good question, let me look through honestly,
I think I mean, I don't know this isn't going
to be anyone crazy, But I think Marvin Harrison really
takes that next step in second year. We talked about
it fantasy wise. I really like that. I mean the
Jonathan Gannon system. Obviously he's gonna be thrown a lot,
and they've had a year to go, you know, in
that system. So I think Marv can make that step up.

(18:09):
And I really think Jackson Smith's jig but from Seattle,
I think he can make that wide receiver one step up.
I like both those guys that have huge seasons this year.
I love Jackson Smith and the Jigma coming out of college.
Similar to how I like Eguka. I like those you know,
reliable targets out of Ohio State. They've shown to be
very reliable. So those two receivers I think could have
very good seasons.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
My breakout guy number nine down in Atlanta, Michael Pennox.
I think he's going to have a big season this year.
Like him to explode onto the scene. I like how
he was able to get, you know, some snaps at
the end of last year.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
We saw him and flashes.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
I think he looks pretty good, but now he's the
guy he doesn't have to look over his shoulder with
with Kirk Cousins, or he's not fighting to get ahead
of Kirk Cousins anymore.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
It's his team now.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Drake London, I think has been one of the more
underrated players over the past couple of seasons. He played
really well in certain certain stretches over over the course
of the last season, was a very dominant fantasy receiver.
Scored a lot of touchdowns as well. You have one
of the best running backs in the entire league with
Bijon alongside of him.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Darnell Mooney I think is.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
An underrated receiver pretty good, and is this the year
that Kyle Pitts finally breaks out. It's been a you know,
a running joke for a while now. But they also
have a really good offensive line. He's an experienced quarterback
at the college level. I think Michael Pennix has a
great chance to be one of the top qbs in
the NFC this year.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
And you know, won't beat around the bush.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
But we talked about it at the beginning, like you
look at I think unanimously people would say the top
four quarterbacks in the league come out of the AFC
with Joe Barrow, Josh Allen Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes.
In the NFC, it's pretty open. You Do you like
Jalen Hurts, Do you like Jaden Daniels. There's room to
kind of move up there into that next group Baker,
Jared Goff, Caleb Williams. People expecting a breakout from I

(19:54):
think Michael Pennix has a chance to have one of
those breakout type seasons to invault himself into that uppersh
of those quarterbacks in the NFC.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
So looking forward to watching him. I think he's an
exciting player.

Speaker 1 (20:06):
Let's go a couple rapid fires here real quick before
we get out of here.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Got a few more minutes to go Conference winner. We'll
just stick here. In the NFC, we got the.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Eagles at plus three ten, Lions at plus four seventy five.
If I give you the option of taking the Eagles
or the Lions or the field, who would you take?

Speaker 3 (20:27):
Eagles are the Lions? I would take them? I think personally,
I think it's the Eagles or bus saying that bias still,
I know that, but just looking at the roster, looking
at the rest of the NFC, I just I don't see,
you know, obviously, injuries happen, there's a lot to play out,
but I think look on paper, I think it's the Eagles,
no doubt. Lions, Yes, they got to stay healthy. We

(20:49):
know what they can do when they are healthy, so
they would scare me too. But other than them, two,
I don't really see forty nine ers are fourth at
plus one thousand to win it. I don't really see
that at all. I would rather take the Bucks honestly
over the forty nine ers in that situation at plus
thirteen hundred rather than forty nine ers at plus a thousand.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Yeah, I kind of think the Lions actually are going
to take a step back this year. I think that
that division is going to be very competitive. I think
on a week to week basis, like you know, any
anybody in that in that division can win.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
I think the Bears are going to take a step
up this year. I haven't been that high on the
Packers these past.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Few seasons, and I'm not super high on them, but
I still think that's a team that's in that ten
and seven, eleven and six range. I think the Vikings
will be competitive. Obviously a lot depends on what JJ does.
But you know, Kevin o'connoll made Sam Darnold look like
a damn good quarterback last year.

Speaker 2 (21:39):
I think he might be able to do that with
JJ McCarthy as well.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
But you know, you look at the NFC, there was really,
I think one major team that that came out of
nowhere last year and went all the way to the
NFC Title Game.

Speaker 2 (21:50):
That was the Commanders.

Speaker 1 (21:51):
When when you look at the the NFC this year,
is there a team that you have on your mind
that's kind of down the board that you think, you know,
could surprise, could actually that team to to make it
to the NFC Title Game, make it to a Super
Bowl represent the NFC. That's that's not necessarily you know,
in that upper echelon right now, like the Falcons down
there at eighty to one, the Bears at forty to one,

(22:13):
any of these teams potentially could be that surprise team
of the of the year this year.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Yeah, I think it could be either the Bears or
the Falcons. But those two young quarterbacks that really you know,
still have to prove that came out and they were
very productive in college and they just you know, they
need to take some time. You know, they can't do
it really in year one. Obviously Michael Penix wasn't gonna
do it in year one with Kirk Cousins, but you know,
he showed that he could really produce. I mean, he

(22:38):
only he went one and two when he was starting,
but those two losses were in overtime, So he showed
that he could produce. And you know, get Drake London,
b John Robinson. He's got the guys, a young coach,
and like you said, with Kyle Pitts, is this the
year that you know, Michael Poenix and him can really
have that you know duo, that connection, you know, safety
blanket type of guy in the middle of the field.
And then with the Bears, I mean all the all

(22:59):
the stuff that they did in the off season with
you know, bringing a new head coach who was, you know,
said to be one of the best offensive coordinators in
the last couple of seasons. One of the more solid
out coaches in the last couple of seasons was Ben Johnson.
And they bring in a whole new offensive line to
protect Caleb. They bring in a bunch of weapons to
improve the defensive line as well. So I think Bears

(23:21):
and Falcons, if you want to take a stab at it.
I think those two teams down the board are worth it.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
All.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Right, final question before we get out of here.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
We'll do for the season, We'll do like a division like,
predict every division winner, predict the playoffs and everything. But
sitting here in July fifteenth we talked about earlier, A
lot can change. But who is your NFC title game
and who is your NFC representative in the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
I think it's gonna be Eagles. I'm gonna say Eagles Packers.
I really I've been leaning heavily towards the Packers since
the season ended, and then I'm kind of with like
the touch for situation, really leaning off them. But that's
just based off of them being you know, of losers
about it. But the team itself, I think I was

(24:08):
really very good. The lines, like you said, could probably
take that regression. So I think i'd go Eagles Packers
and Eagles win that.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
I am going to go Eagles Bucks, I think I'm
I think I'm all aboard the Baker and the Bucks
train this year. I think that's gonna be a fun
division with with the.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Falcons and Bucks.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
I think those guys are gonna go back and forth
like eleven and six, twelve and five. It's might come
down to the final week, but all board the train
with the Bucks. I think it's gonna be hard to
stop them on a weekly basis with how many weapons
they have, and even if they have a guy that's
forced to miss some time that they have so much
step there at the receiver spot. Not many teams in
the NFC I think can stack up against them being

(24:48):
able to stop.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
Them on the offensive.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
Then, So that'll do it for our NFC kind of
crash course preview. We'll do something similar next week, hitting
on the AFC and then probably get back into a
little bit more college but camps right around the corner.
Teams are starting to report and we're into the thick
of it. We're about a little over five weeks away
from college football officially kicking.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Off as well.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
So hot and heavy over here at Fox Sports The
Game where Football is King with Brian Coile at Nick McClay.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
We will be back next week talking AFC stuff. Stay
cool out there, everyone, and we will talk next week.
