(00:00):
One to one point five by theyef FM Madison's classic rock Pink Floyd on
this two for Tuesday, also Beyondthe Stunts Tuesday with their friends over at
Legacy Exteriors. No, Josh Godwitz'stoday, so Brock, he's with us.
Brock, how are you? I'mdoing well. Thanks for having me.
Yeah, So let's get to diveinto this. What is your title
over at Legacy Exteriors? So I'mone of the sales reps over at Legacy.

(00:25):
There's there's a couple of us overthere, so I'm I'm the senior.
Oh, senior sales rep over there? Is that because all the gray
hair, that's that's that's a differentconversation. Yes, five kids, Yeah,
exactly, not my wife, justthe just the kids. Speaking of
your wife, she's the one Nikkiwho will answer the phone when you call

(00:45):
Legacy Exteriors over at two two onethree thousand. Of course, if there's
a project down the exterior of yourhome you want to tackle, Legacy Exteriors.
They are your one stop exterior contractor, windows, gutters, siding,
roofing, decks, three season allseason rooms, life rooms, pergolas,
even they can do it for you. A Legacy Exteriors. So Brock,
you mentioned there you are a salesguy, if you will, salesmen,

(01:06):
So let's kind of take our listenersthrough that process of you know, reaching
out calling Legacy Exteriors and then theyget you know, hooked up with you
and then you take it from there. Let's go through that process. Yeah.
So, once someone reaches out, whether it's through the website, through
a manufacturer, or you know,a cold call into the into the office,
Nikki is the one who takes thecall, and then depending on what

(01:30):
someone's looking for, is it arepair, is it is it a full
remodel, is it a sun room, Nikki will then schedule someone to come
out, and then we'll come outto the folks house. Yeah, and
and basically start the interview process tofigure out what exactly they need. Yeah,
and that interview process, as youkind of mentioned there, let's kind

(01:53):
of go through that a little bitafter our conversations with Josh, and we've
talked about this with him too,but that's really a no pressure you are
kind of meeting with anybody over atsome Legacy Exteriors, You guys really take
the time to listen to what thesepeople want done. Yeah, when I
first came to Legacy, you know, my former job, I was running
a restaurant bar bowling Alley, soso the pressure sales was kind of voluntary

(02:16):
for my customers. So when Icame into this role, the high pressure
conversation was initially brought to light. And that wasn't that wasn't exactly what my
personality was. Sure, I likesitting down with the customer, talk it
over, get something on paper, kind of like an ala carte menu.
I'll take some of this, I'lldo this, I'll do this, put

(02:38):
everything in front of them, andthen go through the process, talk to
them a couple of times, findout what exactly their budget allows for what
they're looking for, and then wejust kind of put them into their remodeled
dreams, yeah what they want todo. Talk with Brock from Legacy Exteriors
Beyond the Studs Tuesday on ibaf Man. Obviously you've been doing for a number

(03:00):
of views, so when you're sittingdown through that interview process there you also
can kind of go back and forthwith people and say, hey, I've
seen some do this, I've seensome do that, you know, and
kind of see if that nails intowhat the customer wants. Yeah, there's
there's been a lot of houses I'vebeen to, so you don't always see

(03:20):
what happens at the end, butyou know a lot of the ideas,
and as long as I do myjob and I'm bringing up the ideas of
what to do in a gable orwhat to do in certain areas that you
have to understand. The aesthetics ofyour house are important, but the curb
appeal, whether whether you're driving up, that's what people are going to see
first. Yeah, so some peoplehave ideas coming in and then as my

(03:46):
job is suggest a couple of thingsthat they may like. If they don't
like it, perfectly fine. Butbut it's always a partnership. I like
to call it that I throw ideasoff of them. They may like them,
may not, They may have ideas, and then I'll roll with what
they want to do well and what'scool too. Over at the legacy exteriors
is whether it's the customer's ideas orwhether it's your ideas. Brock, if

(04:10):
you are on the customer salesperson, you guys can bring that vision to life
through three D imaging before people eversign up to do the project on their
home. They can get a visionof what it's going to look like.
Yeah. Absolutely, that's that's actuallyone of the features that I actually like
doing. I'm I'm not an exteriordesigner by any stress, but this program

(04:30):
allows us to go through and changecolors on their houses. Whether it's roofing,
siding, their trim, their windows, it'll at least give them a
very good idea of what their housecould look like. And if they're toying
around with a blue color or maybea beige color, I can do both
of them and then they can makea decision. Okay, I like this

(04:53):
color better than the other one.Yeah, that is Brock from Legacy Exteriors.
Again, if there's an exterior projecton your home you want to t
tackle, I mean, we sithere on August at twenty ninth Brock Labor
Day weekends. On the way summer'sover, it's gone school schools here,
So I mean there could be somethingyou know you have to get done before
the winter months really hits, ormaybe you want to start planning for twenty
twenty four. Give Legacy Exteriors acall as two two, one, three

(05:16):
thousand. Again, whether it's windows, gut are siding, roofing dacks,
three season, all season rooms, life rooms pergolas. They can do it
for you also, Brock before Ilet you go, you guys are looking
for a driver position. Let's kindof talk about what's entailed in that.
Yeah, so the driver position isyou know, if if someone's out there,
whether you're you're partially retired, oryou're just looking for a job where

(05:40):
you're gonna get kind of a workoutand also get some windshield time, this
is a perfect job for you.Yeah, being able to lift is an
important part. Each bundle of shinglesis at least seventy pounds, so you're
gonna be lifting. You're gonna becleaning up material, cleaning up job sites,
taking material out to cruise. Butyou're traveling from town to town.
You're not gonna have the same viewevery day. You're doing something new.

(06:05):
You're going to a new house,you're going to a new property. It's
it's a nice job for someone whowants to get a little workout in while
being on the clock. Yep,and your home nights and weekends. As
you mentioned there, right, youare traveling, but you're home. Absolutely,
you were you were one percent homeevery single night, and if you're
not, then that's going to bea different conversation. And wonder why their

(06:27):
wife or usband is gonna be whatwhere are you? So have you were
interested in that driver position over atLegacy Exteriors. Give them a call today
at two two one to three thousand. Al Right, that is Brock,
Thank you sir. Yeah, Iappreciate it. Thank you. Not a
problem. Maybe Johns will be backwith us next week. We'll see anyways,
regardless different Tuesday. We're coming backhere in a few minutes with Oroshia
and Billy Idol. I want atone point five ib yeah, yea f
