(00:20):
away. It's Halloween. Halloween. It was a ghost you could have been.
There's a lot of ghosts in thisbuilding. Let me tell you a
lot of weird things have gone down. A lot of people have disappeared.
Yes, they have never to returnanyways. Johnsh Gowitch. You hear his
voice there. He is the ownerof Legacy Exteriors. Josh, how are
you today? I'm doing great.Well, that is good to hear.
So what's the candy situation? Likethe guy it's home tonight, you go
(00:43):
for nights. I do not gofull size. We like to go minis
and give out multiple minis. Okay, you know, because it's hard to
lock in into one. Yeah,so we are not the full size house.
Okay. Do you everybody knows wherethe full size house is? Yes?
You do? You know as akid, you know exactly where that
is. Yes, you do,Yes, you do, and then sometimes
you change your masks so you canhit that spot multiple times. Right.
(01:07):
Do you guys also hand out flyers, fly roofing, window siding. We
do, Yeah, we do.Not you should. Yeah, I'm sure
the kids would love to take thathome to mom and dad. Some jerk
gave me two two, one, three thousand. That's that jerk's number.
Kidding. That is a number forLegacy Exteriors. Of course they should be
(01:29):
your exterior company of choice. Theyare mine. My new roof absolutely love
that a little over a year ofhaving that's on top of my home.
But more than Roof's, Legacy Exteriorsdoes windows, gutters, siding, decks,
doors, three season, four season, life rooms, sunrooms, pergolas,
amount of breathfests, a list ofthose things you do. Josh,
Yeah, I was just gonna say, oh my yeah, anything that's on
(01:52):
the outside of that commercial building house, you know, we do it.
And it's so weird because we sithere on October the thirty first, and
you and we're kind of brainstorming beforewe hit the air today about what we
wanted to talk about, and Isaid, I think we should kind of
talk the weather. I mean, this past weekend we had that rapid chans
and temperature, we had freeze warnings, and now today as I look out
(02:13):
the window, there is still somesnowflakes coming down. We saw some earlier
this morning, more in the waytonight as well. So you know that
kind of rapid chains and seasons reallycan affect a home. Yeah, I
think you can. Hopefully you ifyou needed a roof before winter, hopefully
you've got on the schedule already orgotten it completed. Because the worst thing
(02:34):
that can happen to you is ona home that needed a new roof and
you didn't get it. What areyou gonna do when there's a foot of
snow on the roof and you andyou're uh, you know, you're having
leaks on the inside from ice damsor or whatever possible scenario could happen.
Like, hopefully you've gotten on someone'sschedule. Hopefully you've gotten it replaced already,
(02:54):
so you don't have to have thatyou know, bad feeling of is
this the wind or that the insideor the outside becomes inside. Yeah,
you don't want that. I meanI also think about it too. It's
like maybe your roof could hold allthe snow throughout the winter season, but
come spring and that starts to melt, you may be seeing some major issues
(03:15):
inside your home. Yeah, Ithink. And then people relate like ice
dams with you know, possibly abad roof issue. Actually it's insulation ventilation
issues. Sure, but that's allstuff that we would take care of right
at time of roof replacement. Yeahtoo, Yeah you mentioned Oh sorry,
I'm just going to reset two twoone, three thousand the number for Legacy
(03:38):
Exteriors. Kind of touching on roofshere with this rapid chains and temperature.
But one of the many things LegacyExteriors could do for you on your home
Legacy Nation Exteriors dot Com their website. But part of what I wanted to
talk about today too, was isthat with those freeze warnings we had this
past weekend, the air is obviouslya lot colder, people may be starting
to notice some issues with their windows. Yeah. Say, if you look
(04:00):
out this morning and it's foggy,it's not foggy outside, so sure.
Yeah, So obviously with the temperaturechange and stuff like that, you're gonna
it's gonna expose some window issues. And if it is. If you're if
you're seeing some fog on the windshield, you're seeing some possibly ice build up
(04:23):
on the inside, or or anythinglike that, things of that nature,
then it's time for a window replacement, at the very least a glass package
replacement. And that way you don'thave to, you know, deal with
that all winter long. And you, guys, you have a lot of
options when it comes to windows, and I guess Pella is one of those
(04:44):
brands you work with and you guysare what is the Pella Platinum certified mixed
up with Legacy or not with alegacy, but with and the Master Elite.
I know they're all every every brandhas their certain certifications, but yeah,
we're at the highest level with Pella. It's a Pella is a great
option when it comes to windows becausethey offer so many different levels. So
(05:10):
they got their their vinyl lines, which is gonna fit and anyone's budget,
and they it's a great window. They have their fiberglass line, which is
my personal favorite, and then theirwoodline. Uh they are they're the only
woodline that offers a warranty against rot, which is which is phenomenal. Right,
(05:30):
So, like I think that's oneof the big people's hesitant to go
with a wood line or a woodproduct is is maybe the upkeeper or the
potential for rod or mildew and stufflike that, and so Pillo Pella kind
of eliminates that happening. Yeah, and you can have natural condensation kind of
build up on those windows absolutely andthen and then rot it out or you're
(05:53):
gonna have to have upkeep. Soyeah, I mean it's when it comes
to windows, there's everybody has abudget clearly out there, and everybody's budget
might be a little different. Butthat's why Pella so great is because they
do offer a line of windows thatwill fit in anyone's budget. Yeah.
Well, and you guys are sogreat as well over at le IgA see
(06:14):
exterior is because of the financing optionsthat you guys know that which is you
guys offer as well because hugely important. It is because windows. I feel
like it's kind of like a roof, and I learned that the hard way
is that I could have gotten oneroof at one price, but it was
like over the long term and therun of you know, how long I
will be in my home, Ikind of wanted this roof. I didn't
(06:35):
have all that money up front, and it could be the same with the
windows. You don't want to settlefor something because windows especially you look out
those every single day. Yeah, and think of it this way too.
So everybody is seeing and reading aboutthe interest rates and all the hikes,
right we are still offering twelve monthsno interest, so crazy zero interest for
(07:00):
a whole year. I mean,I think we have a lot of different
other planes as well, But ifI'm going to give you free money for
an entire year, would you nottake it? Exactly? You know?
So it's not only do is Pellahave a line in everybody's budget, but
we have a way of making affordableto anyone as well, and so that
(07:23):
that doesn't just go for windows, that goes for anything we do on the
exterior the home. Yeah, AndI mean, if you're thinking about looking
at new windows right now, maybeyou've noticed some issues on your home with
our rapid change in weather. Hereor across America's dairy Land legacy dast exteriors
dot com a good place to start. That's Josh's website. You can see
all those different options when it comesto windows. You can also see all
(07:43):
of the certifications that Joss and histeam have from the difference window dealers.
Is that what you call Pella?Yeah, manufacturers. Yeah, we carry
a lot of different lines. Soobviously we just talked about Pella here today,
but sometimes there's you know, andwhen we do our interview process of
what that homeowner is looking forward outof their project, maybe it maybe it's
(08:07):
not Pella, maybe it's a differentline of windows. So we we carry
multiple lines for that reason. Yeah. And what's cool too, is is
that you know, we don't justhave to you know, talk about the
windows in your living room or yourbedroom. These could be the special windows
that can be like over top, like kind of like in your kitchen area
that could like overlook the sink, and you could have like plants and stuff,
(08:28):
window garden windows. That's what Iwas looking for. You guys do
all of that. Yes, Sothere's so many options. Yeah, and
you don't have to be locked in. I think sometimes people are like,
well, I'm locked into a certaintype of window or I'm locked into this
size. So we we have we'rea full construction company, so meaning if
(08:48):
if you want a bigger window ina certain wall, or you don't have
a window right now, in awall and want one. We do all
of it. So we'll do thereframing, we'll put in the new header,
and then obviously put in the windowthat you want. Yeah, and
I mean too. As we sithere on Halloween October thirty, first winter,
it's on the horizon here as well. This is a good time to
start planning for different you know, things you may want to get done in
(09:11):
the spring, in the summer, whether that's a new deck, maybe it's
a three season, four season liferoom, sunroom, even a pergola.
It's a good time to pick upthat phone and call two two one three
thousand over at Legacy Exteriors and kindof see what that's all about, what
it all entails, because there's permits, there's other things that you have to
get to get those proticts done.Oh. Design, Yeah, design,
I mean, I would say it'svery rare that you come in with the
(09:35):
design team and you not get outof the park and get exactly what you
want on the first design you get, you lay out what you want,
you look at it, and thenyou're like, there's always changes that you
want to make or that should bemade, and to make sure that that
project is exactly what you want,or you go to a friend's house and
you're like, WHOA, I likethat. Yeah, maybe we got that
(09:56):
exactly. Make sure that happens alot. Yeah, with the sighting.
When we do the three D imagingand we put maybe a color that you're
thinking on your home, the beautyof it is you can see it before
it ever gets ordered or installed. So maybe we throw it on your home
and you're like, oh, Idon't like this color, but let's try
that color, and let's do bordand batten and the peaks. And the
(10:20):
nice part about it is you cansee all of it before it ever happens.
You can fully customize whatever project youwant to do. Correct. Yeah,
So that's the beauty of working withlegacy exteriors again, windows, gutters,
siding, decks, roofs, doors, three season, four season,
life room, sunrooms, pergol us, all of it. If it's on
the outside of your home, prettymuch, legacy exteriors can do it.
Not like yard work and landscaping, but everything else. Right, I've heard
(10:43):
you've had you've had that question before. Yes, yes, Josh will not
mow your lawn. Nope. Shouldwe ask Kleb about you mowing your own
lawn. You should not, right, Josh, have a great Halloween,
buddy, you too. Happy Halloweeneveryone there. We go give me a
few minut itt y'all get this interviewposted on our website wy B A f
