two games of the year, and the Central Dolphin Rams
come into tonight three and four, one game winning streak
as they defeated CD East last week and their game
twenty eight to eighteen. Bishop mcdebit tonight and the white jerseys,
gold numbers, white pants with the blue and gold trim

and always the Vegas gold helmets and the Central Dolphin
Rams with the dark green jerseys, white numbers, white pants
with the green trim and the Ram formation on their helmets,
kind of like the Los Angeles Rams, only it's green
and white instead of the Rams golden blue. So we're
just about ready for kickoff here. Obviously a turf field

here at Lantis Field, nice track and a great environment
for football here, Marty on this cool evening.

Really is and you know, Art, it's really been a
great turnout, you know, considering that the temperature definitely was dropping.
You look around that a lot of fans on the
Rams side, a lot of fans over here on the
mcdebit side. So yeah, it's actually a real nice, real
nice crowd on both sides here.

Jayden Johnson back deep for the Rams along with Mason
Wydra and for Bishop mcdebitt. As we mentioned, Aiden Gorilla
will not be kicking here tonight for Bishop mcdebitt instead

know it's it's the first cool fall night of the
year we've had, as we've definitely had some warmer temperatures
on Friday night. So here we go, the eighth game
of the season for Bisho mcdebbitt, and we're just about
ready to row. Milch runs up kicks one high into

yard line and we'll be returned by number five Johnson
and Johnson taken down somewhere around the twenty yard line.
It looks like good special teams coverage by the Crusaders.

So Central Dolphin will go left to right. Actually Central
Dolphin will drive towards the Bishoy mcdeviitt High School end
of the field, or you could say, guess the Union
deposit end here at Landisfield. Fortunately a player down here
for the Crusaders, right out the twenty yard line. Not
how you want to start the night.

Ethan Miller on the stop for the Crusaders. Actually pointed
Ethan Miller's name out when I was looking at the
roster today to my wife. That just was a unique name,
and I, you know, kind of put it out to her.
He's in on the first tackle for the Crusaders.

Good news. He is able to get up and walk
off under his own power. Just a little bit of
a limp over here to the Bishop mcdeviit's sideline, so
so apparently nothing too serious there, So that's good news.
Maybe just a little sore there. Here come the Central
Dolphin Rams onto the field and led by quarterback Mark Libo.

It would appear one back in the backfield with him.
Libo waiting the snap. Now he pauses, looks over to
the Central Dolphins sideline as we're just getting started here landisfield,

will hand this one off up the middle on Central Dolphins.
Got a huge play down the field they go and
that is number ten Hodgen, and he will take this
one to the house for a touchdown. Just like that,

Well, mcdevin had the perfect defense for the play that
the Rams ran. They mcdebit box had h was going
to remark they had nine guys in the box, but
the second line of the defense there was no one there.
And once he got through the initial hall basically up
the middle, it was all over him.

Central Dolphin Rams, the holder is Lebo and the kick

middle of the field and I ain't central dolphin, it's
gonna come up with it him and has turned his
back Marty and they just turned around real quick and
just did the on side kick. Mcdebit was fooled and
just totally unprepared for that.

Kind of a bit of a reminder of Penn State.

then they do the on side kick, and it was
clean as a whistle on that on side kick. There
was nothing but green shirts that were gonna be around

and that's what's happened here so far. Tonight. Rams have

seven and nothing on the hotch and eighty or a
touchdown run. Now the Rams have it again, eleven forty

seven nothing centraled off and Lebo looks over to the
far side. It's got two backs in the backfield, and
they'll run this one up the middle again. This time
they get about three yards on it is. That's Garcia
on the carry to be second and seven for the Rams.

order for the Crusaders second.

they'll fake the handoff. Now they're going to fire one
down the field, and this one is caught inside the
mcdebit twenty down to the sixteen yard line. Is Bow
hits Brandon Cooper for a big play for the Rams.

Oh, that was one thing that I was actually gonna
mention that a look for them with the win to
go downfield.

Lebo just got rid of that and kind of shot
put it the ball down the field. Here's a run
to the outside. This time, mcdebit gets in there. And
shuts that thing down. R J Duffy in there on
the tackle.

R J Duffy getting some penetration there. Looks like they're
gonna market. I thought he got him. He lost the arc,
it's gonna say. I thought he got him in a
little behind the line of scrimmage.

So it makes it second and eleven from the twelve
central Dolphin coming out extremely aggressive. If we mentioned their
backs are to the wall to try and get in
the playoffs here, and we need to win two of
their last three roly and they got Harrisburg next week,
So trying to pull one out here against mcdebit going
in motion as Brandon Cooper from the near side to
the far and now they'll have two wide outs on

the far side, one to the near. Now they bring
the man over that's Garcia from the other side, and
they will run this one up the middle, and that's
Garcia gets just inside the ten down about them. We'll
say the seven, so have a third down. They give

for the Rams. As aggressively as they have been so far,
I think this is they go for it on fourth down.
If they don't get it here Libo waits to snap
hotching in the backfield with him, and now they'll give

it to Hodging up the middle, dives down the middle
and don't think he'll have the first down.

But it's it's going to be forcing short. They have
a good kicker, So you know, do you want to
do the field goal or do you want to go

Bishop mcdebit, just three fifteen into the game here, as
the Rams would score on their first play of the
game on a Hodgson eighty yard touchdown run to put

them up seven zip. They would pull mcdebit if an
onside kick, drive down and score on fourth and two
from the three as Mark lebo was able to hit
Cooper from three yards out. They make it fourteen to
nothing Central Dolphin. Now the Rams will kick off again
here to mcdebit, Tim and Z kicking off left to
right from the visitor side of things here Atlantis Field.
This time they do kick this one deep and it

will bounce at the fifteen yard line, and Ish Palmer
picks that thing up just at the last minute and
is able to run it back to the twenty nine
yard line, and that was really scary looking, Marty.

It really was, because the upman was letting the ball
bounce and it's a live ball. Fortunately Ish came up
and got it broke one tackling. Really was really close
to breaking it all the way return.

Ish Palmer and Ish takes it down to about the

just with groups, gets some nice passes from Sebastian Williams
and some great runs behind that offensive line with swoops,

try to restore some order and maybe take a little
momentum from that CD offense away.

and the Crusaders get down there and knock them down

hand this one off to the near side and Bishop
mcdebitt all over that because they shut down Hotch in

that time, just nothing there at all that time running
into that mcdebit wall.

Good d There already a lot of extra pushing, extra
chirping going on after the after the play art. You
do not want to get involved in that if you're mcdebit,
especially when you're down in the score.

same deal, goes up like he's got to snap the

Now he's gonna run it, gonna bring it to the

Good good job there by Milch to uh, you know,
keep the eye on the quarterback. Contained him. Third down
and four for the Rams.

So Libo picked up a few theres. So third and four,
three thirty eight left to play. First quarter. Mcdebit down
fourteen to seven. Rams will have two white outs to
the far side, one back in the backfield next to Libo.
Tries to get mcdebitt's defense to jump. Now he backs
off again over to the far side. Libo waits a snap.

He's got Garcia in the backfield with him. Libo back
to pass fires went over the middle and it's tipped away.
Ryan Hart with a nice tip. If he does not
tip that one, Mason Wider might add a big play there, Marty, more.

Than a big play that was six. If Tyler doesn't
get that hand out, he catches at in full stride
and there's nobody behind him. That was the Tyler was
the last bit of hope for the Crusaders. Big defensive

Bishop mcdebitt. So big stop for Bishop mcdebitt hodging on

bounce and fields it at the forty five. He's got
the fifty, he's got the forty. It's still spinning and
fin ish Palmer tackled down and some late pushing and
shoving out there by Peyton Wiley and the refs just
let it go. We've certainly seen less than that called

Crusaders would answer back, though Nazir Jones Davis would score

and then Swoops with a seventeen yard touchdown run would

Crusaders would score from one yard out to go up

fell down fourteen to nothing three minutes and fifteen seconds
into the game. Mcdebit shows that a championship medal and
is able to enter back with three swoops touchdowns to
put Vision mcdebit up twenty one to fourteen. But I
know you have some first half stats for us.

Yeah, it was a crazy half and clearly like all
the momentums on mcdebit's side now and they'll be getting
the football to.

Speaker 4 (01:22:30):
Start the half.

So yeah, first half stats, you know, stat wise, looks
like a pretty even half. Obviously, the Casiti gets the
eighty yard run right out of the gate where mcdebit's
linebacker sort of got lost in the mix there didn't
have sound gap integrity there. So halftime your total yards,

mcdebit with one hundred and seventy three total yards, Central
Dolphin with one hundred and fifty eight have it with
eight first downs to five, although two of the CD
first downs came by penalty. Sebastian Williams had a great
half ten for fourteen passing for one hundred and eleven yards.

The interception at the end there hurts a little, but
real solid half for him, especially because you know he
played with three different centers and he had to gather
in a lot of Aaron snaps and timing was off.
He had to you know, just the fact that he
didn't fumble any of those or any of them hit
the ground was a huge thing. Ish Palmer four catches

(01:23:37):
for forty one yards. Also of course some big returns.
Gage Roof two catches for thirty two. Zach Brown with
two big catches seven yards and seven yards, but they
were key plays on third downs. Lazier Jones Davis twelve
carries for fifty one, Central Dolphin passing the ball three
for nine for fifty six for Lebo. You know, Hodgson

had that eighty yard run. But then here's the interesting thing.
And obviously the eighty yards count all the same, but
after that eighty yards on the first carry of the game,
Central Dolphins next nine carries in the half netted a
total of twenty two yards. So hopefully you know, mcdeviit
is clearly just the first player. They just no gap

integrity there. They adjusted. I feel like the pressure starting
to get closer to getting home on Lebo. He's sort
of just throwing it up before the pressure gets there,
which is a danger if mcdeviit doesn't, you know, letting
receivers get behind him. But you gotta feel like a
couple of sacks are gonna come in the second half.

Rob this is obviously a rivalry game with Central Dolphin here.
Nothing coming easy. I mean, mcdeviit had to work last
week against Cumberland Valley and talk about some of your
favorite memories through the years in this rivalry and mcdevon
Central Dolphins. Your Saders have won the last four, I believe,
but been a tough matchup through the years, obviously.

Jeff Wector is thirteen and seven against CD, including two
playoff victories here. Victories here on this field in districts,
but as of late they've dominated. But you know this arrival,
we really heated up at the end of the Fort

lot of it. And then in ninety six, the year

when mcdevit was coming off the state championship, they played
at mcdebit field in Central Dolphin won that one of
the best games ever mcdebbit field. You know, three overtimes,
so many big plays. Mcdebit came out on the short
end of that game, but you know, rallied from that,
didn't lose the rest of the season, made it the

hallway back to the state semi finals before falling to

back and won that game twenty three twenty one on

a touchdown pass with like less than ten seconds to go.

And that was a classic. But then two years later,
mcdebit came here in four and district semi finals when
CD was the number one seed and a state title contender,
and Lashawn McCoy put on the all time probably the
all time game of any player in the history of

a long screen pass that he took to the house.
He had five hundred and fourteen total yards and five
touchdowns and mcdeviit won that game thirty six thirty four
upset CD.

Wector's first district title, beating Carlyle at Hershey Park Stadium
the next week when Lashawn rushed for three point fifty

Johnson era, of the Alec Warner era and on. Starting
in nine, both teams came here undefeated. Ceed had just

beaten State College the week before. They were flying high.
Everyone thought it was going to be a tight game.
Mcdebit came in here with Matt Johnson at the Helm
forty eight to thirteen, laid a beating on him three
touchdowns the Salath Williams that night. Jammel Potite rushed for three.
I remember John Duckett had a huge big play on
a shovel pass early to set the tone and Matti

j was just in control. That was a great game.
Next year they came back over here. They ended up
playing here four years in a row, which is a
whole other story. Nine they played here, twenty ten. They
played here because back then that's when mcdeviit got switched
to the Keystone Division in twenty ten, So it was
a non league game. So they were had. They had

to come over here again that night. Though Jamal Patite
was hurt. It really hurt real game and he had

of that game was he's priace sing it on YouTube.
Matt Johnson here at midfield, reversed his field two or
three times, being chased by defenders dead to rights, reversed
his field back towards the home sideline, and heaved a

They still lost. Next year they had to come here.
You guys will remember this. I believe it was tropical
storm or Hurricane Lee. Schools were closed the flooding the
whole week, you know, Market Street Field. So the game
was supposed to be at mcdebit and eleven. They had
to move it here, but with the flooding and all that,

the game was moved to a Sunday afternoon, and that
was the coming out party for Alec Horner fifteen of
seventeen for three twenty two that day and mcdebitt won
twenty to thirteen. And then the one other game I
have to mention you know after that would have been
the next year twenty twelve here mcdebitt was an underdog,

came in here and won twenty four to seven in
a great win. So there's been a lot as you
can as you can tell going.

Back and one of these games here tonight, I mean
Central Dolphin just came out and stunned mcdeviit with fourteen points,
and you know, you see the rivalry with these two teams,
and then the Crusaders have just entered back like a
champion to go up twenty one to fourteen. And one

already coming into the night missing three key players, right,

and now we're you know, you're looking at the situation
here with Jude. Yeah, just seeing what kind of a
