final game tonight between Bishop mcdebitt andLampeter Strasburg. Bisha mcdebitt, coming off

a fifty four to fourteen win overMilton Hershey game was really over by the
end of the first quarters. Mcdebittwas up twenty eight to nothing in that
game. Stone Saunders seventeen to twentyfour, three hundred and ninety four yards,
six passing touchdowns in that one,running back Maurice Barnes eight rushes ninety
yards. He had two rushing touchdownsand also a receptions for a touchdown in

that game. As the Crusaders withthe easy fifty four to fourteen win.
Llam Peter Strasburg also won last week, not as easy, as they defeated
East Pennsburg twenty three to twenty anddouble overtime. They led that game fourteen
to nothing. East Pennsburg came backand tied the game late, went into
overtime and they would have to winthat game with a field goal in double

overtime twenty three twenty Marty. Onpaper, mcdebitt the big favorite here tonight.
However, these two teams, mcdebitthas won the last two District three
to four A titles. Lampeter Strasburgwon the two before that, and mcdebitt
and Lampeter Strasburg have played two reallyinteresting games here. You had the seven

to nothing district championship game a fewyears ago with the wind, and then
the game before that where mcdebitt hada twenty to nothing lead at a half.
Lampeter Strasburg came back, took thelead mcdebitt, but take the lead
late, only to watch LAMB PeterStrasburg drive down the field in the final
two minutes of the game to winthirty to twenty seven. So when you

have an I guess you could callit a rivalry playoff wise game like this,
anything can happen. Yeah, Ithink a rivalry has been established.
That's a great point. And callit coach speak if you will. But
coach Wector remarked to me when wetalked that he knows that they're not going
to come in here and be intimidatedwhatsoever. The r of B mcdebitt,

it might affect some other teams,will not affect the Pioneers here tonight.
So they're very good at running thefootball. You know, you got to
stop it. They are tough torun on. At the same time,
the test I think tonight for meis going to be what kind of defense
because Lampeter Sasburg can show you differentthings and they can stack defenses and it'll

be what they do as far astrying to Still I hate to call them
an experience. This line's been togetherfor mcdebit a whole year, but still
somewhat that would be the key thatI think is to watch, you know,
is the line going to give StoneSaunders time to throw? Ken mcdebittt

would really want to score early,try to open this up a little bit
while they're still a passing game.They're fine running back John Mellinger. He's

come out a little bit where you'rejust not crisp enough. I thought we
came out on both sides of theball. Special teams we played real well.

You know, we executed uh youknow, we had a backup offensive
lineman in and you know did well, but made a few mistakes. But
you know we overcame them. Youknow, we could run the ball on
offense, we could throw the ballon offense. Defense did a really good
job. We really you know,the defense at them Mount. I know
they scored fourteen points, but thatwas on their varsity with their varsity on

our jv. So it was agood week for us. I mean,
you know these guys, you knowwhen you look at how many how many
playoff games these seniors played, TyCappark, you know, Chase Reagan,
Devin Hopkins, Rico and then evenStone. I mean you look at me.

Stone has played and you know alot of guys played a lot of
football last year, got an extrasix games, extra six weeks in,
so you know, they know whatit's about in the playoffs, and you
know, we just need to continueto get better, you know, each
week, and hopefully we'll do that. Marcus Barnes said, a lot of
running downhill. Great job by theoffensive line and got to the second level

a lot of times on that runninggame. Yeah, Maurice did a really
good job. You know, Ifeel that from the beginning of season until
now that he's really improved. Youknow, he still needs to improve.
The line has gotten better as hewent on. You know, we we
had to, you know, forthe playoffs, had to put Dallas Davenport

in it right offensive tackle because J. J. Torres, who had a
great regular season for US as ineligibleplay in the playoffs. So you know
they're still coming together. But youknow, I was very pleased Stone dropped
a couple of dimes. When inparticular comes to mind, was that wanted
to South End to Rico. Thatwas a beautiful for out, a great

great route. Yeah, I meanwe actually it was an r PO.
We actually had it coming back toChase on a slant and their safety for
some reason, you know, overplayedweak to the to the short side of
the field, and you know Stonesaw that Rico had a linebacker on and

with no safety help over the top. So Stone just signaled, you know,
for a slot eight and he madea great throw. No stranger here
tonight. Man Peter Strasburg had somegames. They come in here and beat
us a couple of years ago,and I mean they're going to come in
here not intimidated by vision mcdabbit,like a lot of teams probably do.

So what's what what are we lookingfor tonight against a team that a traditional
power out of Lancaster County. Youknow, you're right there, they're you
know, the last two times theywere here, they beat us in twenty
nineteen coming back from a twenty tonothing halftime deficit. You know, we
it was that district final two yearsago in twenty twenty one that you know

we had that sustained thirty mile anhour wins with us up to fifty.
You made it almost impossible to throwthe football. And you know they jumped
into you know, eight to nineman fronts and did a good job against
our run game. You know,we're fortunate to come out there with win.
So they'll be they'll bring a bigcrowd tonight. They'll be loud.

You know, they think they're goingto come play and knock us off again.
You know we have to step upto that. I think we will.
You know, they've run a verydifferent type of defense. It's a
three stack, which we've had successagainst, but they played a little bit
different. Instead of their defensive tacklesin fives, they put them in four
eyes, which is instead of anoutside shade, they put them on the

inside shade, and they use theirsafety's in run run gap fits. And
you know it's not the easy thing. You got to change your blocking schemes
a little bit. Not the easiestthing to run against. But you know,
we have to run some we haveto be able to throw the ball,
and you know, defensively, theygive you a lot of different looks,

you know, and so we justhave to come out and play well.
And you know we'll have our ramsfull tonight. So you I'm sure
you worked a lot with the offensiveline this week and having them being able
to recognize what they're going to seetonight. Yeah, I mean they've they've
done a good job. You know. I'm sure we'll see some things that
we didn't prepare them for. Thatseems to be the norm for every week.

to Midfield Bishop mcdebit tonight with thedark blue jerseys, white numbers, white
pants with the blue and gold trimand as always, the gold helmets.
The lamb Peter Strasburg Pioneers come outtonight, blue helmets and the white jerseys

with the blue numbers and the whitepants. So Marty, we're just about
ready for football. We love doingthe regular season games. It was a
fun to see mcdebit win. Competitiongets a little tougher here tonight in this
semi final game here in District threefour A are these are the ones that
you and I and Rob mclease wetalk about. These are the games you
really want to do and you reallywant to see. You know, it's

could be very competitive. There's noguarantee of any outcomeane you know, you
might walk away a loser here tonightas a fan, and that's it.
As I said last week, youknow, it's do it tonight or you

over the hump last year winning thatstate championship over at Cumberland Valley High School
against Aliquippa. Aliquippa almost was upsetlast week. So crazy things can happen,
and mcdebit's got to show up andplay well here tonight. Of course,
you've heard about rain in the forecastall week long. It is not

how things go. All you mentionedit was nineteen twenty nineteen at lamb Peter
Strasbourg came up here. Mcdebit hada twenty twenty one zip lead at half
and Strasbourg came back, took thelead. Mcdebit retook the lead only to
see Strasbourg march down the field andwin the football game. Certainly unexpected,
especially when you're up like that athalftime. And then year that they the

And so you know, again asI said in the pregame, and
for those who just turn, there'sno intimidation factor here that you might see
in other teams. You know,as far as Lampeter Strasburgh, they are
a bona fide and have been abona fide program. Fiorello out there about

ready to kick off for the Pioneers. He'll kick off towards the Dairy Street
end of the field, and weare just about ready for football. Of
course. Fiorello with the game winningfield goal in overtime last week, right
after he had missed the extra pointthat would have won the game for Lampeter
Strasburg. He did come back andmake the field goal, and then the
Pioneers came up with a turnover toseal that victory twenty three to twenty over

at East Pennsborough, Well CFLs wantsto do anything different on a kickoff rather
than do a kick either de RicoScott the deep men back there or you
know whether they'll take that chance.And they do kick it off. Looks
like Chase is going to take thisat the eighteen. He's got the twenty
five, he's got the thirty.Comes outside and Chase Reagan gets up over

the forty, but penalty flags comeflying in back. It around the thirty
seven yard line, pretty much rightthere in the blocking in the back area.
It's the thirty thirty seven yard lineand I don't think there was gonna
be much question about Allen. Thereare actually two flags down. There was
one further down the field called ita holding. So mcdevy will block in

the back you so devit will takeover and drive towards the Union deposit end
of the field here at Rockertenzio Stadium. They mark this thing off. Official
will take this back to the twentyseven yard line and that's where Bishop mcdeviitt
will set up shop to start thisDistrict three four a semi final game here
tonight against Lampeter Strasburg and the PioneersCrusaders come out with two wide receivers to

the far side, one of thenear that's Chase Reagan Stone Maurice Barnes in
the backfield. Stone awaits the snap. Now he barks something out to his
wide receivers out on the far side. Stone back to pass plenty of time,
fires one of the outside. He'sgot his man Rico Scott out there,
and Rico has it for a firstdown up to about the thirty eight

yard line. Just well executed,ran the wide out deep and as you
said, Stone Saunders put a signalout there to Rico and they just curl
it to the outside underneath the longreceiver who had run the streak down the
field. Pick up of eleven anda first down. Two white outs again
to the far side from mcdebitt,one of the near on first and ten

at the thirty nine yard line,Maurice Barnes in the backfield. They give
it to Maurice. Maurice up themiddle, gets up to the forty six
yard line, gain of about sevenand it'll be second and three for mcdebbitt.
Good game there off the left side. Five vision, mcdebitt or Barnes
just following the blocking and as hedid. It's so successfully last week.
Art able to get to that secondeleven second level right away, we're gonna

give him seven, second and threemcdebit at the forty six Stone awaits a
snap. He's gonna fire one ofthe outside out here to Chase. He's
got the first down, goes downto the forty seven yard line. First
down to ten vision mcdebitt. Gainis seven are by Chase Reagan and just
again they're playing a little bit ofoff of those wide outs, so Stone

Saunders just taking advantage of that andthey're running the underneath patterns that one to
the sideline and put it right onthe money for Reagan and a first down.
Three white outs to the far sidefrom mcdebitt, Chase Reagan the wide
receiver on the near side, MauriceBarnes in the backfield. They fake the
hand off the Maurice now fire aquick out to Chase. Chase spins his
way down to the forty one,gets about seven and we have second and

three vision mcdebit once again Art,as you can see the defensive back playing
eight nine yards off the line ofscrimmage. And as long as Stone feels
confident that he can get that ballout there quick enough and no one's going
to jump one of those routes,why not take it so quick? Hopkins
and Rico Scott out on the farside, Chase on the near side on

the second and three from the fortyone, Maurice Barnes in the backfield.
They handed off to Maurice. He'sgot the first down inside the thirty five
down to the thirty three, gainof about eight and another first down.
Bishop McDevitt Barnes freight once again offthis right side. That's twice they run
off that right side have the Crusadersand they've gotten good mileage off of both

of it. Barnes with two carriesfor fifteen yards, same formation, three
wide receivers to the far side,Chase to the wide receiver in the near
side, Maurice a little bit behindStone to his right. Stone back to
pass, comes to the near side, fires one and it's a little too
high for Chase here on the nearsideline and incomplete out of bounds, a

little high there that there was alittle bit of a rush and Stone had
time to just kind of come outhere to the right to the near side
and saw Chase Reagan there on thesidelines, but threw it a little high.
Nine thirty seven left to play.First quarter, opening possession of the
game for Bisho mcdebitt Crusaders with asecond and ten from the thirty four yard

line to playing Peter Strasburg. Threewhite outs to the far side, one
to the near side. Stone willhand us off to Maurice and Maurice is
tackled down in the backfield by numbersixty three for the Pioneers, and that
is Anthony Turick now third and twelvefor mcdebit. At the thirty six.

You know this will be two downterritory for Bishop mcdebitt, So try and
pick up some of it here.And first down of any significance that the
Crusaders have had on this first drive. At the first long New Arty situation,
third and twelve from the thirty six, Stone awaits a snap, Stone
back to pass, has time,looks down the field. Now he's gonna

aarrow one out over in the corner, and this one is too far and
out of balance for Nevin Hopkins andincomplete. So now a fourth and twelve
mcdebit at the thirty six. Goodcoverage there. So Stone had time,
which is a good thing, andhe just kind of waved two receivers never

Nevin Hopkins, and I believe itwas quick on that side to go deep
and just throw it too far foreither one of them to catch up to
it. See if they go toquick down the steam here on this fourth
and twelve from the thirty six yardline, eight to fifty two left to
play, first quarter, no scorein the game. Stone back to pass,
there comes a pressure, Stone firesone over in that corner. He's

got Rico wide open, and he'sgot it inside the ten first and Goald
Bishop mcdebit at the stick, intentionthirty yard pass to Ricoscott. What a
big fourth down conversion. Lots oftime for Stone started to collapse a little
bit. He stepped up and justthrew a dime to Rico's gott who ran
a great deep out pattern down tothe far sideline. Rico is at least

five yards open on that one ashe got by the defense, so first
in gold mcdeviit at the sixth That'sa huge play on this opening drive for
the Crusaders. This time will comewith two wide outs on the near side.
That's Rico and Chase Maice in thebackfield standing to the right of Stone.

comes the pressure and Stone's just gonnathrow this one away at a bounds here
on the near sideline. Nothing therefor a Rico. Double coverage on him.
Yeah, good move. Not toforce anything there here, Sony.
First down, you don't don't haveto force it in there, and so
he throws it away and just goodcoverage in the secondary by Lampeter Strasbourg.
Eight thirty five left to play.First quarter, just getting started. Opening

possession of the game form mcdebitt.Maurice in the backfield behind Stone. See

Yeah, that'd be a good callhere, and they hand it to Maurice.
Maurice up the middle, gets downto about the three, so we'll

here for mcdebitt to put some pointson the board. Here. On the
opening drive, Stone has to playfrom the near sideline, takes it back
to the huddle. It's like Ricocomes out here as the lone wide receiver.
Debit comes with a power formation here, Stone under center, and they

will hand this to Maurice. Mauriceon the right side, and they're gonna
say did not get in about ahalf a yard short goal mcdebitt from the
half yard line. Seven forty leftto play. Clock ticks. Obviously mcdebitt

will go for it here. Mauricechecks out of the game for Bishop mcdebitt.
It looks like they're putting Rico Scottin the backfield two blockers behind Stone,
and Stone's gonna keep it himself.I don't think he got in and

he did not, So Lampeter Strasburgstops Stone Saunders on the quarterback sneak from
the half yard line and the Pioneersoffense will take over. Interesting collier for
mcdebitt, It was interesting in thesense that he ran a sneak from the
gun okay, and he had twobig bodies in front of him that didn't

get any push it off, sohe was going had nowhere to go.
Yeah, just as strange to seethat from the gun. Interesting we might
find out that he was supposed tobe under center for that, and yet
we go in the backfield as well. There. Yeah, what a huge
play for Lamb. Peter Strasburg Keithmcdebbitt out of the end zone. So
the Pioneers take over from their ownhalf yard line. They have one wide

receiver to each side of the field, and now penalty flags come flying in.
They do have Caleb House in thereas the starting quarterback. He finished
the game for him. As wementioned earlier last week at East Pennsburg,
the penalty is against the Pioneers fora false start if the distance takes it

from about the half yard line tothe one cool yard line. The regular
quarterback is a senior. Trent Wagnerapparently struggled something that game last week,
and they're going with the hot handagainst Vision. Mcdebbitt her goes out on
the fore side, is a wideout for the Pioneers. Several backs in

the backfield standing to the right ofhouse. The house's going to keep it
himself, and I don't think hegot out of there, and they do
call it the safety. As mcdevith's in there and hits them a lot
of times, seems like the restwill give the guy the benefit of it
out and say he got out.But this time they do call it a
