These teams have met three times inDistrict three before, back in twenty
thirteen, mcdebitt won forty eight toseven. In twenty fourteen, it was
thirty five ten mcdebitt and the BISHAmcdebit coming in here tonight with an impressive

win last week, Marty over LampeterStrosburg forty three to seven. Mcdebitt kind
of got off to a bit ofa slow start as they were stopped at
the half yard line, but thedefense rose up, got a safety and
then mcdebitt pretty much took the gameover at that point that twenty three to
nothing at the half. Mcdebitt reallyimpressive on the ground. Maurice Barnes twenty

rushes one hundred and twenty five yardsand Jones Davis from mcdebit eleven rushers one
hundred and twenty three yards, threetouchdowns. Stone Saunders fifteen to twenty seven
two hundred and thirty eight yards,two touchdowns. Enrico Scott five receptions,
one hundred and fourteen yards and onetouchdown. But an impressive and a dominating
win by Bishop mcdebbitt. It reallywas and one of the things and I
talked to coach earlier and we talkedabout it. I think I was so

impressed last week against Lampeter Strasbourg wasthe play of the offensive line and Art
I would wager to guess eighty toninety percent of our running place. The
running backs reached the second level immediatelybecause of the blocking schemes in the way
things were done. It was justa great job all around. We gave

the offensive line and the two runningbacks Maurice and Swoops. We gave them
the uh, you know, theplayers of the game because they just absolutely
dominated absolutely. Now Mannheim Central comesin here. They only lost one game
this year to Coo Kaliko. Lastweek put up a lot of points.

The game was actually twenty one totwenty one at one point against Twin Valley
the Raiders of Twin Valley, andended up winning the game sixty five to
twenty Yeah, sixty five twenty eightin that one and Armwold in that game
three hundred and sixty eight yards rushing, six touchdowns. And they look at
last year though against Vish mcdebit,brace and Armold seventeen rushes for only thirty

eight yards against his mcdebit defense.And Zach Cohn, who's had such a
phenomenal season for the Barons as well, in that game only three of fifteen
for twenty three yards against that mcdebitdefense. So mcdebit shut these two good
players down last year for Manaham Central. So we'll see what they can do
here tonight. Yeah, and I'lltake a look at the game, you
know, a little later in ourpre game. I'll take a look at

what I think. But I willsay this, there's no lost between these
two programs. These guys. Idon't see twenty kids from each team meeting

There is not a lot of it. It started last year after the game

But all that being said, well, I'll give my take on what
I think we're going to see heretonight or what I would want to see

of the teams, but I don'tthink too many people really like those fifty

Siha mcdebit, of course, isone twenty five straight coming into tonight.

You get down to the one youare line, don't get in and they
try to run out of the endzone. You get to safety and it's
sort of right there. They hadmomentum if they get out of their end
zone and they didn't. So whatevermomentum you might have lost not getting in,

you got right back on the safetyand then getting the ball back.
Yeah, we should have scored atthis point. If we should have scored
on a third them, you know, we cut it up when we should
have bounced it. It was abounced playing go outside and if we stayed
outside, it would have been atouchdown. And then you know, just
we didn't get low enough on thequarterback sneak. But you know, give

them credit. But then our defensebattle us out, you know, made
a great play, got us theball back, you know. So yeah,
it was a big, big thingfor us. And then to get
the ball back and then I thinkwe covered the two first fourth downs on
that possession, and we had somepenalties, but yeah, I mean that

that sequence of not letting them getany momentum was a big, big help.
I mean, you know, becausethat's how the game started out.
Two years ago. We were downon the one yard line and we had
an interception in the end zone,big play out of your own end zone.
Second quarter, another punt that getsdown at the one yard line and

I think it was second down.You went deep and not unusual for you
to throw. Over the years,we watched you throw the bomb out of
the end zone. Well, youknow, first of all, it shouldn't
have been on the one yard line. It should have been on the four
or uh they touched it on thefloor which makes the ball dead and then
give it down to one and youknow, uh, you know I wasn't
pleased with that. And then wejust wanted to we you know, Stone

wanted to go deep. I said, let's go to quarterbacks and you can
just get us a little bit moreyardage so you're not back up against back
of the an zone in case somethinghappens with pass rush. But yeah,
we went into a heavier set.They were playing us a lot of man
coverage and and even though five wasa pretty good defensive back, you know,

Rico got the steps on him andand uh we got the ball out
and got out the midfield and anduh you know went on to score that.
Yeah, big play. Really kindof it changed the whole the whole
field of the game. You gotyou got field position back able to do
a lot more you know with it. Offensively, Yeah, offensive line I
just thought performed incredible. They werejust uh, you know, allowing swoops

and Barns to get to the secondlevel almost every Yeah, I mean that
that in run game that was bothof the one and the running backs best
game. You know. We stillmade a few mistakes, but you know,
very far between, you know.And also give the two tight ends,

you know, next logic and LiamFuller did a good job. Liam's
blocking is getting much better since earlierin the year, so they did a
good job. Also saw Liam inthere more in that double tight end and
your trusting the more in that blockingscheme. Yes, the I was gonna

unfortunate like conduct penalties and things likethat. There obviously wasn't any pleasantries being
exchanged on the field all night betweenl S and McDevitt said something that you
talked about because you're going into agame tonight with Mannheim Central and the Hypes

I mean, you know, wemay have mistake on a touchdown, you

know, talking after the touchdown andthat was a taunting, you know,
I think that's about I mean,we had a couple of personal fouls on
a bad bad you know, itwas. It was very frustrating because it
seemed like when LS had the balland there was a pile, they weren't

blowing the whistle dead and so whatare you supposed to do? They didn't
blow the whistle, and then youknow, you throw them down and then
they hit you for unsportsman alike forthrowing them late. But you know,
I mean, you know, ifyou played the game, sometimes you don't
hear, and for them not toblow the whistles like that, it costs

us. On a on a kickoff, they let it go, let it
go. The whistle wasn't blown.We stripped the ball and had the ball
and then all of a sudden theysaid, no, it's momentum. Well
then blow the whistle. It justuh, you know, you know,
I'll take the high road like theNFL coaches try to do on the college
coaches, so I don't get fine. But yeah, it was a strange

game, strange officiated game on Fridaynight, That's what we'll say. But
I did talk to our players duringthe game and after the game, and

a great job, you know,shutting them down. And they had a
couple of really just a couple oflong runs in the touchdown run, but

yeah, not a lot. Theirbiggest play was, you know, quarterback
got out of the pocket a littlebit. The receiver did a good job
on scrambled rules. He was goingdeep, so he came back and then
he made a nice move on ourcorner and picked up another fifteen yards.
I mean, they had some athletes, but overall the defense played very,

very well. We've seen Stone Sauntersmake some throws. I personally thought three
of his throws Friday night the touchdownof the far end to Rico and a
great job by Rico to come downwith both feet and bounds, let alone
just one and just a great jobthere by Rico. And as you said
that, that was one of theyou didn't mention the name, but that

was one of those, you know, unsportsmanlike but and right right before half,
back to back throws to Chase Reaganand in the end zone, want
to strip or Chase would have happened, and the next play was right there.
You know it's there were great throws, definitely, and you know sometimes

those balls are hard to come downwith a little bit, so I mean
again, we throw it up theend zone, you know, hoping her
prayer and almost God. So yeah, what was the tough catch for Chase
on that second because there was somuch traffic and that's what made to throw

there exactly. Okay, So overall, well with the score, and I

mean, but please, with theway you performed last year, I thought
in all three phases we played well. We gave up one kickoff a long
kick off return. But you know, we know what the problem was there,
and so yeah, overall, yes, very pleased. And if I
may assume letting the punts go wasjust because of a wet night? Was

games you don't wanted to that's becauseyou want to run your open The second

receiver sixty three can run and makesome spectacular catches. And then Rice an
Armwold the little running back round forthree hundred yards last week in the district
semi final against Blue Valley, youknow, and then defensively, you know,
their man out of central and youknow they're very well coached special teams.

They very well coached on that.So you know, we'll have our
hands full tonight. We we can'tturn the ball over. Uh, you
know, when we have to evenget better. You know, we talk
each week about getting better each week. So looking for that secondary to be
big tonight. J R. Rossand a couple of great plays on Friday
night just took that touchdown away justcoming across. That was really good.

Uh. Nevin Hopkins made a realnice break on the ball, get an
interception. Our secondaries played well,you know for the most part of the
year. You know, made afew mistakes in that de Paul Kathley came

just looked very very relaxed. Ourpast protection was again we our offensive line,
as you said earlier, our offensiveline played really well on the run

had no success against Vision mcdebitt inthis game last year. I think mcdebitt's

get the keys to the game here. Defensively for Manheim Central, they have

to attack mcdebit's offensive line, differentfronts, different looks, blitzes. Okay,
because relative I know it's a year. You know, we're thirteen whatever
many games in, but that's stillrelatively young for an offensive line. You
know, that had to be totallyrebooted this year. So that's the key
I see from that side defensively formcdebit. Oh, and I want to

add, if Stone has time tothrow, I don't think they'll stick with
our receivers. That's why I thinkthey have to attack our O line defensively.
A key that I want to watchis Han is so good when he's
out of the pocket. When hebreaks containment, our d backs cannot come
up to assist because he'll just flickit downfield. And the receivers, hey,

if they come up over run by, I'm going downfield, he's going
to throw it to me. Sothat's what I think the key is for
mcdebit is contain him as much asyou can. I've got to stop the
running game, r Rold. Butif Han breaks containment, okay, then
your d backs gotta stay true andyour linebackers got to make the tackles.
Seeing some mother scating reports i've seen, Han needs to get rid of the

ball quickly against his mcdebit defense.Can't turn the ball over. Try and
possess the ball and keep the mcdebitoffense off the field as well if they're
going to have any chance to winthis game at all. And I think
if you're a man on centry,you gotta who mcdebitt turns the ball over

Attack the mcdebit offensive line. Youknow, they need to make them think

they need to see different front splitzes. You know, they need to work
on that offensive line and get StoneSaunders out of any kind of rhythm or
sequence that he's get in because ifhe has time, I don't think the
secondary is going to match the speedof Bishop mcdebit's wides. So that's what
I see there. Defensively for mcdebit, I think mcdebitt needs to get set

on stopping the run first and thenkeep on in the pocket. And when
he gets out of the pockets,the d backs can't come up to help
because hanad wave his receivers downfield andhe'll just throw, you know, to
wide open receivers. So the mcdebitd backs have to be very disciplined to
stay with the receivers even when Hanbreaks containment. Yeah, it's pretty simple.

I think for Manheim Central, Hanis going to have to play a
phenomenal game. For Mannheim Central tohave any shot in this game, you're
not play a good game. I'llturn the ball over, get the ball
out to his wide receivers and hopethey can make some plays for him if

there, folks and you can thinkof slow pitch softball. That's kind of
