(00:50):
In your fame, beutiful night forfootball Tonight. These defending state champions,
the seven Old Bishop of Demon Crusaders, traveled to the West Shore Stadium
on to two and five Redland Patriots. I'm J. C. Floyd along
with Rob which we will bring youall the action tonight and another midpen contest.
(01:10):
But Rob, before we get startedand we set the game up,
I have to clear the air.The elephant in the room. Where is
the voice of the Crusaders Art Selby? And like most sports these days,
winning teams, they rest their startersbefore the playoffs. So what we're doing
is we're resting Art tonight. Wedon't like some players blow a hamstring in,
(01:32):
twistin ankle. If you've listened toArt Selby, you know how excited
he gets. We don't want himto blow his voice. We want him
to be ready for the championship run. Get so next week he will be
back and he will take us allthe way. Hopefully the Chapton Field had
another state championship. But tonight,Rob we have Redland and the Crusaders have
(01:53):
been rolling. Last week another complimentarygame last week against the Hershey Trojans,
of course, played that at MiltonHrshey's Henry Hershey Field and mcdebitt as always
enjoys playing down there. They rolledto a forty two to seven win JC
you know, very balanced effort, the best rushing performance of the season on
(02:16):
the ground. You know, asthe season goes on, As we talk
each week, coach Wector likes toget that ground game ready to roll because
in the playoffs. You could havegusting wins, you could have cold,
misty nights. You gotta be ableto run the football. So last week
you had, of course, youhad Stone Saunders just a routine thirteen for
sixteen for two hundred and fifty threeyards and five touchdowns. But what was
(02:38):
interesting is you had the combination ofthunder and lightning of Maurice Barnes Nazir Jones
Davis, combining the two of themfor twenty three carries on the evening and
racking up one hundred and forty twoyards on the ground. So mcdebit getting
it all rolling. The defense gaveup only twenty twenty four yards in the
(03:01):
first half JC as they went tothe twenty eight to nothing lead and coasted
do a forty two to seven win. Well tonight, the true proponents will
be the Redland Patriots, who areright now are two and five, one
in three at conference play, andthey started the season losing the Northern York
thirteen to seven. They won againstNortheastern are very close one twenty three to
(03:22):
twenty one, and then they droppedtheir next fourth to mechanics Burg Milton Hershey
Lower Golphin in Hershey. Although lastweekend they were able to bounce back and
beat Palmyran twenty four to seven. They made a quarterback, James L.
J Search, a sophomore, ledthem to victory, and tonight he will
get his second start. We're goingto do a little maintenance right now.
(03:45):
We'll have the weather for you andthen brought to you back to the police
Brothers, and then we will haveMarty's interview with coach Rector, a instansive
interview as they cover a lot,and we'll be right back for kickoff.
You're listening to Missipan Devin football infourteen sixty Box Sports at Iihart. It's
time for the Bishop mcdebitt CBS twentyone Forecast, brought to you by the

been pretty good until now. Lookfor increasing clouds tonight overnight low down the
four six here. Tomorrow, we'recloudy and chilly with the rain through the
day. It's going to be asoggy Saturday. Look for a high up
to fifty six Sunday, clowney witha few leftover showers. The high fifty
eight Monday, mostly clowney skies,a dry day with highs again in the

(05:54):
You bought them alongside Sir Jeff Clarkto Fisher McDavid high school coach. The
train keeps running. Kids are reallyplaying well. Big win last week against
Hercy over at Mountain Hershey, takea look at that game for us.
You know, he was good forus. You know, Rico Scott wasn't
ready to go against that in thatgame. So gave us a chance to
(06:17):
get a few younger guys worked intothe offense, got his a chance to
maybe work on a run game alittle bit more, you know, and
you know we ran the ball well. Offensive line played well, the running
backs played well. Really pleased withJohn day Quick. You know, he
stepped in, got two touchdowns andthen you know he kind of a lot
(06:38):
of in some formations in Rico spot. You know, Chase Reagan did a
great job. You know, I'mnot surprised that he's doing as well but
you know, I didn't realize, you know, he was gonna break his
main tackles as he has. Youknow Barton Robbs player at a game last
week, by the way, Yeah, I mean he definitely deserved it.
(07:00):
Uh. You know, so offenseplayed well, defense played real well.
I mean, uh, the runningback, big two hundred and three pounds
running back. Uh, he camein I think as a leading rusher in
the midpenn and and we pretty muchshut him down. And you know,
uh the sweeeny kid is is reallyquick at quarterback, did a great job.
(07:21):
They run some beer which you knowwe haven't seen all year, which
you know, we really worked thedefensive Steff really worked with us during the
week last week assignment football. Whenyou play veer wing t you gotta go
at Simon football. And they dida great job because you know Sweeney,
you know, he's fifth. Wesaw a film he's fifteen yards down field
(07:44):
and still pitching to is his uhpitch man. So they did a great
job. You know, we gotyou know, got some young guys in
and and uh, you know itwas a good win for us. I
mean they came in five and oneand and you know, uh, you
know we played well. You mentionedalready younger guys which I was going to
(08:05):
talk about speaking of mention, andI should mention it's the mister sticky player
of the game for Chase h JohnTate, grit freshman. I mean,
he's this guy that limit for thisguy. I mean he is, He's
contributing very early on. He is. I mean he runs good routes,
his good hands, he's you know, as you saw even into the Paul
game, he's shifty. You know, can make people miss. You know,
(08:28):
he has a chance to be verygood. You know, he has
to put in the work. Imean there's a lot of things he needs
to get better at. But youknow, you think you will get bigger,
stronger, faster. You know. One thing I really like about him
is he has a really really smootheroutrunner. But he gets in and out
breaks very well. And that's keyfor a wide receiver. You know,
(08:52):
he kind of I don't like compair of players, but we haven't had
a guy getting in and out ofbreaks as a receiver like that since Brian,
I thought that was the name coming. I thought that was the name.
You're gonna mention it was Brian melWe talk a lot about you always
talk about you're ready offensively with awhole package, and what you use out
(09:13):
at package depends on what the defensesgive you. And this year, as
far as the younger guys, thegames have seemed to dictate a little more
where you're going to the second andthird team right away, almost in the
second half most of the time. And a lot of that has to do
with Stone Is getting a lot ofopportunity in the first half throwing a lot
(09:37):
of balls. Really doesn't need asecond and third series maybe in that second
half, but it seems like theyoung guys are really getting in there and
contributing. Sebastian Williams at the QBspot for one, Yeah, I mean
specially as we talked before, he'sgoing to be a great quarterback. And
then when you look at some ofthose young receivers, you know, Gage
(09:58):
Ruth, Tyler, Renhard, youknow, you throw John Tay in with
that group, I mean, andwe've got some other good young ones,
you know, Uh, Brandon Dollingsdoing a good job, Jaden Arrow's doing
a good job. And then we'vegot we've got a receiver that's gonna be
(10:18):
really good. That hasn't even playedyet this year. So they do a
good job. You know, it'stough for the young offensive line because they
don't really props yesterday and walk throughfor tonight, but you know they've been
doing a good job. And thesame with the defense is the young defense
have been doing a good job inthere. A couple of guys in secondary
(10:39):
getting some extra work. Yeah,I mean we feel we have eight or
nine guys that can play in thesecondary. You know, Jaya Rolinson has
been down, you know, shouldbe back a little bit tonight, hopefully.
Jamison Crumble who was playing in ournickel package and played a lot because
(11:01):
the first three games, you know, we we played teams that ran a
lot of spread. You know,he stepped in and has done a great
job at corner. You know. You know, Jayden Gorns has done a
great job coming in. I mean, you know, I knew he could
hit, but he's covered very well. Also in that group is you know,
(11:28):
Avery does a good job. He'sgot some playing time. And then
Dante Lucka has gotten some time atsafety and has done a very good job.
Dante's even dumped in and played alittle bit of nickel linebacker for us
uh Pamam Small's has played well inthere in the dine package because in the
Nickel and Dime, you know,we normally moved Leon Parkson's just started corner.
(11:50):
We moved him inside to like aNickel linebacker. Him and Jay Air
and you know Sam, Sam andJamison play the the outside quarters. So
you know, we've had so manyguys that make contributions. Is brilliant,
great to see and we'll have moreof the Bishop mcdebit pregame show coming up

Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.Welcome back to the edition m Kevin Predim
Show. Let's hang it back toMarty now with his interview. Coach Jeff
Wenter, a guy that we willreally appreciated up in the booth. Rob
Art and we talked about it alot over the last couple of years.
(13:39):
For whatever reason, doesn't seem toget the note Aariot. We think he
should because he is a great footballplayer. Let's tie Cappart and I didn't
get to meet with you last week. A couple weeks ago. Tie went
over the two hundred mark for tackles, and he's with some rare company fourteen
guys over the course of since you'vebeen here only that have gotten two hundred
tackles. And you know we're we'retalking some some names there that he's in
(14:03):
company with. Yeah, I mean, listen that I agree with you.
Tigers is an unsung hero. Uhnot to the coaching staff, a little
bit with the media. You know, I still think he's going to get
some more college offers. You know, Tye. You know, he started
out as a strong safety his firsttwo years, moved to the linebacker.
(14:26):
Coach Lance Sandon likes a fast middlelinebacker because he likes to play some Tampa
two h Tye fit the bill.He reads so well. You know,
he can run. I mean, you know, I pointed out to some
college coaches that you know you did. You's one highlight against Paul Katholick.
(14:46):
That's the kid that you know,he caught down. We had a we
had a bust of coverage into Tampatwo and it wasn't on him, but
he chased down their top receiver whohas Ohio State and Texas offer. You
know, he's he's been a greatplayer for us. He'd be a good
running back for us. You know, talking to coach Lance Santa, you
(15:09):
know, we talked. You know, we can't afford to get him banged
up. You know, run onoffense because he means so ty ty makes
all our check calls on defense. He's like having a coach on the field
once in a while, especially againstsome of the Keystone teams that you know,
(15:31):
I might forget to Hey, youknow, beginning of the week,
you know, we send it outto the coaches the other team's film,
but I might forget to send tothe kids. Tis always technical coach,
you're gonna put You're gonna put thefilm up of the other team because he's
a student of the game. Andyou know, between his athletic ability and
just his smarts football smarts, that'swhat makes him so unbelievable. I mean,
(15:56):
he's made play after play after play, you know, with some of
the things with the college coaches.I keep on town. Listen. He
showed you the speed. He showedyou he can cover people. He showed
you he can blitz. He showsyou you can he can read. He
showed you that he's physical. Heshowed you that you can make tackles sideline
to the sideline, and you know, I got to believe that somebody is
(16:18):
gonna come in and they're gonna goa real player. I mean he is.
He is as good as player aswe have on this football team.
Yeah, I mean he's up therethose two hundred tackles of reason. Vinnie
Solomon, then you got Nate Monroe, have no respense. There's some names
up there that he's joined it.Players join that group. So pretty much
(16:40):
keeping always say banged up. Don'thave a lot of guys really banged up
right now, do you, whichis a good thing. Uh, you
know, we a little bit ofhere and there. I mean I said,
Gyrs missed like the last three orfour games. Uh, you know
you can miss last week. TaateHughes's missed you and uh you know Landon
(17:04):
Colbert, who uh you know, got some varsity time for us as a
freshman this year at offensive guard andreally in the last couple of weeks,
especially with tay Down, he's gettingsome varsity defensive line play, you know,
with the first group. Unfortunately,in the Milton Hershey JV game,
he got hurt and he's gonna needsurgery and so Uh, he's gonna be
(17:29):
out for the year, so wecan do it a little bit. But
I mean and Tay was a bigfactor for us last year and went in
a state title. I think it. You know what I told you earlier
in the year is we have somequality depth that we have not had for
a long, long, long time. And it shows it. I mean
again, we talked about all theguys in the secondary. You know,
(17:51):
we talked about three guys you know, going down with injuries, and we
haven't missed a beat. So,you know, I think that's a testament
to the coaching staff, you know, our assistant coaches, and it's a
testament to just the quality death wehave here. In case I forget to
thank you for throwing to the tightend, I get my name mentioned because
(18:12):
Robert Robert Art. Every time youthrow the tight end, I'll say,
Marty's happy. Well, we weshould have had a tight tight end touchdown.
Didn't hear the call right and Randyhitch Whin it was supposed to be
a seamen. If you ran steaming, it was a touchdown. Because what
they were doing when we went ourdouble tight end set, because Chase was
killing him early on, they knewthey couldn't single cover him. And that's
(18:36):
one of the things that I worriedabout winning the game without having Reco available,
is they were to realize Rico asa plan and start double. And
that's what they did. Uh,they doubled up Chase and I'm looking at
him, Well, they got nobodycan cover the tight end, and uh,
I mean he almost made it.But and we tried another one unfortunately.
(18:56):
You know, they were bringing sevenguys and we tried faded a trap
inside and hitting Liam Fuller, whichwe did in the amount of Saint Joe
game, and Stone just got toomuch pressure and just under throwing them a
little bit. But uh, youknow, you might see a little bit
tonight throwing the tight ends. Speakingtonight, let's look ad d Man watch,
(19:19):
So what's in store tonight? Youknow it's uh, they like him
on the ball, but they gotto They got a tall quarterback with a
strong arm. You know, theycome in I think two and five,
you know, I mean defensively,I think we're I see pretty much what
we did last year. One ofthe things is, and I talked to
(19:41):
Stone, you know, we weunfortunately for the last two weeks We've been
a little bit off in our deepgame. You know, we just haven't
quite clicked, and we worked onit this week in practice. But I
said the Stone on Monday, I'mlike, you know, fortunately, it's
gonna be hard to get a deepball. Now. We may on a
double pop or something like that, but it's gonna be tough to get deep
(20:03):
ball because they're playing like they didlast year even against mill and Hershey,
so they will. I'm assuming they'regonna do it against us where safeties are
fourteen fifteen yards deep in their cornersare ten or eleven yards deep and they
just bail. So you know, what I've told the son is i'd like
to where last week I kind ofyou know, it's getting close to playoff
time, so I'm starting to workon some things. You know, as
(20:26):
you talked earlier, we have aton of things that we practice all year
and haven't had the show yet offensivelyand defensively. You know, this week
we added a few more things tostart working on for the playoffs. We're
not going to show tonight, butI did tell someone like so last week
we wanted to work on and sharpeningup the run game, which I thought
we did this week. You know, we want to sharpen up the passing
(20:47):
game. We're still going to runthe football sum but the way they play,
I mean, we wouldn't have torun the ball at all because we
can just throw ourpos because unless theyput somebody like and then last year over
Rico, you know, we canrun RPO every play, but I want
to I want to run concepts.I told the Stone, you know we
(21:08):
want to run concepts. I wantto sharpen up the passing game. Sounds
a good coach. Appreciate it asalways to bring on a w tonight.
All right, thanks a lot more, and we'll have more of the Bisher
mcdebit pregame show right after this hereon Fox Sports fourteen sixty And I heardia

Let's head out to the field withyour game announcers Art Selby, Marty
Bowman, Rob pug Lee and J. C. Floyd. I'm West Shore
Stadium. That sacrifisi we DEVI withfootball. Ye. We just had a
rendition of the national anthem, andI guess the microphone did more because that
was the quietest. We kind oflip red on that one right there.
(29:14):
But the Red Land Patriots have wonthe toss and I guess they're going to
refer this to the second half,so that means the Crusaders will be receiving
the ball and on offense first, they will be going from our left to
our right towards the interstate here atWest Shore Stadium, and Rob, I'm
anticipating another juggernaut tonight from the Crusaders. Well, it's just a matter of
(29:40):
them coming out focused, sharp, keeping their energy and energy level, a
knack for having that killer instinct, you know, not necessarily worried about that
particular team in the divisional slate, but saying, you know, how good
do we want to be each week? Getting better in all phases of the
(30:03):
game. That's what I'm hoping tosee tonight. JC and Redland lines up
for the kick and we are underway. A squib kick that bounces about the
fifteen is taking their fifteen twenty twentyfive thirty thirty five, almost broke that
win, but we have a flagsome laundry, so I think this is
gonna be coming back. Yeah.A nice job by Chase Reagan to feel
(30:26):
that ball right before it went outof bounds, make a cut, get
up field for about a thirty fiveyard return, Number fifty six for red
Land. On the stop was BenSmith and they called holding against the Crusaders
at about the thirty yard line,so they're gonna take it back to the
just inside the twenty mall should betouching the twenty yard line, and that's
(30:51):
where the Crusaders will be setting upshop. Yep, it's right at the
twenty JC and it looks like they'llbe on that far hash on the visitor
side. It looks like Maurice Barnesis going to start the game a tailback.
So the Crusaders lineup. Three menspread to the left, one to
(31:11):
the right, Marquis in the backfield with Stone. Rico goes out stick
a step, does a little boxin pattern. Stone has all day to
throw, and he threw the Ricoand Rico just dropped it. I didn't
think he was gonna throw the Ricoat first because Rico slowly worked his way
over the middle. Yeah. Nicecoverage on the play by Brady Siler,
(31:33):
junior, number three defensive back forthe Patriots, who came in and hit
Rico just as the ball got thereto break up the play. All right,
Second and ten for the Crusaders. Two men splip to the left,
one to the right, and Marquisin the background backfield with Stone hand off
up the middle. Marquise breaks throughto the second level, third level across
(31:56):
the thirty up to about the thirtyfour yard line. A nice hole in
by the middle of that offensive lineOwen Rebell and the guards Jakai Logan and
David Smith opening up. Maurice Barneswas not touched at all till about ten
yards downfield and just hit by Caseand Hoffman the linebacker. But a pickup
of thirteen from Maurice Barnes and they'regonna move the sticks first and ten for
(32:19):
the crusader's ball. Sitting at thethirty three yard line again, three men
spled to the left, one tothe right. Mark Keis in the backfield.
Was Stone calling snaps three step drop. He's looking for a receiver off
to the left and he throws toRico, and once again Rico has hit
just as the ball arrives. No, that was Chase, wasn't it.
(32:39):
That that was Rico Scott and hewas hit again by the same good coverage
again by number three Brady Siler, junior defensive back, who broke on the
ball and put a good shot onRico's back just as the ball got there
to separate him from the football. So Syler with two nice plays here early
(33:00):
second down and ten for the Crusadersagain. Three split to the left,
one to the right, Stone callingsignals hand off the Murkeys up the middle
again and he breaks through second level, third level out to about midfield,
just across the fifty yard line beforehe's brought down and they're opening some massive
holes in the middle. That wasn'this ear. Jones Davis on that one,
(33:21):
JC number five. We'll see bothof them split time and Jones Davis
again, nobody touched him. Nicejob by the O line. He made
a spin move and he picked upeighteen. But we have a late flag.
It looks like they're gonna call ahold. That's a very late flag.
Yeah. I didn't even see theflag, to be honest with you,
until the referee came to signal. So that's gonna move the ball back
(33:45):
to about the thirty actually just insidethe thirty yard line, and it must
have been the hole must have beendownfield, yep. Yeah, they marked
it from the forty. So hegets to seven yards rushing and then they
market back ten, so it'll besecond and thirteen at the thirty. All
right, Two men sweat to theleft Marquis and the back Yep, it's
(34:08):
Barns back in there. And thislogic as an h back wonder the right
Stone is getting Marquise where he wantshim, and they faked the Marquis Stone
deep drop. He's waiting, waiting, waiting, He's going all the way
down and no, no, you'relooking for Chase Reagan there on the deep
(34:32):
pattern. Stone really let that thingfly about sixty yards in the air.
And the coverage was from number fourAnthony say so the Patriots early on secondary
holding up very well. Good coveragethereby Shay tons of time for Stone to
get to get the ball deep toReagan. But he had all day to
(34:54):
him. This he did in between. Here we go two minutes spread to
the left, one to the rightof game. Marquis in the backfield,
quick little flare out to Rico onthe left side. He's across the thirty
five forty out to about the fortyfive And that's how you pick up a
first down. Yeah, nothing fancythere, just took the snap, pitched
(35:15):
it right out to Rico and greatjob by Nevin Hopkins for that play to
succeed. JC. You know, the fans see that they say, man,
that looks easy. It is easywhen that other receiver makes his block.
If Nevin Hopkins doesn't make that block, you know, a guy like
Rico can do something on his own, but to really make it spring,
(35:35):
you got to have that block quicklittle flankers screen gives the Crusaders the first
down at the forty five yard line, this time three spread to the right,
one to the left. Stone Saunderscalling signals two step drop, looking
for someone he has all day. He's circling around. He's running out to
the right and was able to tryto hit that one was number two,
(35:57):
wasn't it? And a great defenseand played by the linebacker rolling out to
the outside on the right and knockedit down. Yeah. That was Colton
Hoffman, number forty four for thePatriots, who had a really big game
for them last week on both sidesof the ball against and there win over
Paul Meyer. He actually had almostone hundred yards rushing in a touchdown and
he's one of their top tacklers. But again they're dropping seven back and Stone
(36:23):
has a ton of time, butthey're really blanketing everyone and he tried to
put that ball in a tight windowand Hoffman just knocked it down. Two
on each side. One in thebackfield was Stone another three step drop looking
for someone pros. It's just goingto be slightly short of the sticks to
(36:43):
Nevin Hopkins. There were so manypeople around them, but I wasn't sure
if he caught that one. Yeah, Nevan's been good this year. Three
or four catches like that jac wherehe is good body control, where he
can go to the ground, gethis arms under the football. That catch,
and it looks like they did givehim the ten yards first down.
So it's first and ten at theforty five for the Crusaders. Nine oh
(37:07):
one left in the fresh quarter. No score, bish, Devin Redland.
Now we have a man on spliton each side Marquise. Looks like we
have an extra tight end. Yes, Liam Fuller, the big six six
sophomore in there, hand off upthe middle off the right tackle, pushes
across the forty five up to aboutthe forty one. Yeah, tough running
(37:30):
for Barnes there not as big ofa hole, but Maurice is a handful.
He didn't have a lot of blocking, but he still picked up three
and that'll make it a second andseven ball at the forty two yard line
of Redland Crusaders come out once again. Man split to each side. Marquis
(37:55):
in the backfield, two step droppedby Stone Stones look for someone a little
outlet pass wrapped to the thirty five, thirty four across the thirty that is
number four. That is Chase Reagan. Yeah, Stone just hit Chase on
a quick hitch there about a sevenyard pattern and he cut back toward the
(38:17):
middle of the field, broke atackle inside the thirty. So nice pickup
of fourteen and they're moving the chains. This is a methodical drive for mcdeviit
here to start this game off.Kind of looked like Chase was a safety
valve on that one first and tenfor the Crusaders, just inside the thirty
yard line. Stand off up themiddle to across the twenty five up to
(38:39):
about the twenty and that is isthat quick. That's Nazir Jones Davis.
Okay, again, a nice jobby the offensive line, a nice hole
for Jones Davis, and he madeone cut and the tackler was holding on
(39:00):
to keep it from any more. But an eight yard game on first down,
You'll take that every time. Agood push by the offensive line.
So the ball is just outside thetwenty yard line. Second and about two
for the Crusaders. Handoff up,Nope, Chase Stone pulls it out.
He's looking, he's scrambling, he'srunning, he's round the left side.
(39:20):
Stone fakes. He does a littlePatrick Maholme's pup fake there and takes it
around the end out of pounds.Yeah. The pass rush there came coming
from number sixty one, Jacob andwho beat it. Looks like he beat
David Smith to get some heat onStone there, and as you said,
Jc, Stone just kept the playalive, was rolling to his left.
Pump faked once and pulled the balldown and managed to pick up the first
(39:44):
down. Nice job to pick upseven by Stone and moving the sticks again.
The ball is about the thirteen anda half yard line. First and
ten for the Crusaders. Two mensplit to the right, one to the
left. Stone calling signals hand offup the middle, this time across the
ten yard line, just inside maybeabout the nine. I push up the
(40:07):
middle, bounced to the outside.Yeah, Maurice Barnes getting gang tackled there.
Four or five Patriots swarm into thefootball, led by Colton Hoffman and
also sixty four Anthony McCutcheon. ButBarnes is a tough, tough dude to
bring down. To say the least, he is a load. It's a
little ground and pound. Second downin about six fourteenth play, the drive
(40:30):
coming up, JC, We're approachingmidway through the first quarter. Man in
the backfield, hand off just upthe middle of the brown. He's up
cross up to about the five yardline off the right tackle once again,
hard running. Yeah. I thinkMaurice Barnes is one of those running backs
(40:51):
who probably the more he gets fedthe football, the stronger he's gonna get.
He's gonna get into a rhythm. You know, as everyone knows of
Files mcdebbitt. He's such a keypart of the defense as a linebacker two
that you typically won't see him geta ton of harries. All right,
Ricos in the backfield at Marquise,we've got a time out. Yep,
(41:14):
we got a timeout. So we'lltake With five forty two left in the
first quarter, we're gonna take abreak. Listen to Mission David Football fourteen

forty two left at these third downin about two for the Crusaders and Jones
Davis back in there at tailback. Two men's three men split to the right,
(42:25):
one to the left. Jones Daviswas Stone in the backfield. Stone
looks like he's changing the play andhe fakes they're going a little fade out
on the left side. And thatwas too easy, too easy touch.
(42:45):
Yeah, picking up where he leftoff after the three touchdowns last week,
and again just as you said, there were three receivers of the right that
took a lot with them, andChase was isolated one on one with defensive
back in the near port part ofthe end zone here and just too easy.
He wasn't wasn't covered at all.Well, what's so strange about that
(43:06):
is they were not playing press coverage. They weren't playing tight coverage. They
gave them all the way to theend zone anyway. For the extra point,
ball is down, kick is up, It is good. So at
five thirty seven left in the firstquarter, it's bishmy debit seven red Land
nothing. We're gonna take another break. We'll be right back with more.

(44:13):
West Shore Stadium, and the Crusadersjust going up seven to nothing. And
I gotta thank Eli Fessler, who'sflying the plane tonight. You're doing a
great job. And the Crusaders lineup, the ball is kicked, not
a deep kick up to about thetwenty yard line. That's where red Land
takes it across to the twenty fiveand the ball is out and the Crusaders
(44:34):
have picked it up. And arethey gonna say he was down? Jack
Dawson just popped that return man tocause that phone. But it looks like
the referee is saying that when Dawsonhit the man and the man hit the
ground, that the ball the groundcaused the ball to come out. And
obviously, without benefit of an instantreplay, we have really no way to
(44:57):
see. But what a hit byJack Dawson, who last week JC was
one of the top tacklers in thegame for mcdebbit. And he's just been
really terrifical on kick coverage this season, definitely separating demand for the ball.
Red Land comes out with three menslip to the left, one to the
right. LJ. Search is theirquarterback. He likees to roll to the
(45:19):
right side looking for a receiver andit is picked off very very first play
that is number thirty for the Crusadersis a round of the twenty five twenty
and Search. Before I even hada chance to say, he was a
sophomore, there's some things you don'tdo. You don't throw across your body
like that, and the Crusaders justshowed him. Why. Yeah, perfect
defense for mcdebbit. They were readyfor that play. Ty kep Hart sitting
(45:44):
right there in the middle of thefield. Kep Hart tipped the ball with
his right hand to himself, pulledit in at the thirty six yard line
here on the near hash, andmade a nice return toward the mcdebbit's sideline
of sixteen yards to kep Hart, returning it from the red Land thirty six
to the red Land twenty. Somcdebicates a short feel here five seventeen left
(46:07):
in the first quarter, first andten for the Crusaders at the twenty yard
line. Two men spread to theleft, one to the right. Stone
steps back looking for a receiver rollingto his left. He's directing traffic and
he kind of threw that one away. I think he was going for Rico,
but he kind of threw it short. Yeah. Good coverage again by
(46:30):
the Patriots, and it'll be secondand ten for the Crusaders. Again.
Stone has all the time in theworld, but good coverage by the Patriots.
(46:50):
So the Crusaders come out with twoto the left, one to the
right, Stone calling signals hand offup the middle, off the left tackle
across to fifteen, down to aboutjust short of the ten yard line.
Lazir Jones Davis with a nice runeleven Aiden McCutcheon and eighty eight Bryce Phillips
(47:15):
combining on the stop there, Zerogoes out. Marquise comes back in.
It'll be third and one, fallingabout the eleven yard line. So the
Crusaders line up Marquis in the backfield, two to the right, one to
the left, Stone calling signals snap, hand off the Marquise up across the
(47:38):
ten up to about the seven yardline, where he's gang tackled. Yeah,
Maurice Barnes following the block on theright side there of Jakay Logan and
JJ Torrez and Maurice inside the tenfor a first and goal falls at about
(48:00):
it's like the nine. Huh yeah, just inside the nine yard line.
First down, four two left inthe first quarter. Crusaders up seven to
nothing, and once again, twoto the right, one to the left,
Marquise in the backfield, hand offthe Marquise once again, he runs
(48:21):
head on, bounces it out tothe outside and drops the ball and they're
gonna say he's down. I wasgonna just gonna jump right in there,
Jesse and say, you know,if the red Land kick return was down,
Maurice was definitely down. He wasdown. He was his knees and
both his legs were on the groundwhen he dropped that football. Unfortunately,
(48:45):
it looked like he had some roomoff that left side, and by fumbling
the football it was it was heldto a two yard gain. Well,
he ran right into a defender andbounced out, so it was good just
not to go down initially, secondand goal for the Crusaders. Stone drops
(49:05):
backs looking for a receiver out tothe right flat touchdown Crusaders. There is
a flat. Yeah, I thinkto be against red Land. We'll see.
I did. I was. Iwas watching Rico run his route across
the field and to the inside thepylon. Nope, it's a hold against
(49:28):
McDevitt. Unfortunately. That was abeautiful play. Rico worked his way out
and he had lost his defender.Great separation. Stone waved the ball right
there. So let me be secondand goal now for the Crusaders. Ball
(49:54):
is about the seventeen yard line.Stone's back looking for a receiver. We're
going right over the middle, andthat is a nice little slant plattern a
post touchdown mcdevit to Rico Scott. That was picture perfect right there. That's
that's the play we've seen quite oftenthis year, the post to Rico and
(50:19):
Stone put it right there on hishands and Rico with that body controlled,
just running to the back of theend zone. Rico seventeen yard touchdown.
He'd been running out routes so tobreak it back in. He broke some
ankles on that one. They lineup for the extra point, all is
down, kick is up. Itis good and with three thirteen left in
(50:42):
the first quarter, and it's Bishalmandebit fourteen Red Land Nothing Fishman Debit Football

(51:25):
only won one offensive play. Thatwas it. It was the first play
this entire game. Sayor's lineup,The kick is down. It is out
to about the twelve yard line, where Redland feels across the twenty up to
about the twenty five and down.Looks like number forty two was in on
(51:45):
the tackle from Yeah, looked likeJack Dawson and Lucas Lawler on the coverage
there. So the Redland the Patriotswill set up just touching the twenty seven
yard line. Their own twenty seventhree h eight left in the first quarter,
(52:07):
fourteen and nothing big Devin years up. Patriots break the huddle, Man
spread each side like the old wingtea. There LJ Search calling signals,
hand off up the middle and nothingdoing. Handoff looked like it was the
(52:30):
tailback. Was that cal to Itwas Colton Hoffman and he was hit immediately
by number forty three, the outsidelinebacker, Vinnie Brooks, the junior,
and he lost the yardage there losttoo on the play. So to be
second and twelve for Redland. Ballis now in about the twenty five yard
(52:53):
line. Got Jesiah Harding and DallasDavenport to tackle. Lucas s. Lawler
and Nick's logic it ends cap HartBarnes Brooks are linebackers. Two thirty one
left in the first quarter. Searchhands off again, this time to the
left side, and the same result, nothing doing. I think they lost
(53:14):
even more yardage. It looks likecool. It looks like Finny Brooks again
in Dallas Davenport with great penetration fromhis defensive tackle spot. Let's set up
the secondary. You've got Leon Parsonand Jamison Crummell starting at corner tonight Jay
(53:37):
r Rawlson playing to Nickel slot andof course Hopkins and Reagan at safety.
Third down at thirteen man in motion, LJ search is looking for somebody tries
to hit the slot man coming outand they we were right on it.
That is number four. That's ChaseReagan on the tackle. Yeah, they
(53:59):
flung out to Siler and Reagan justread it, flew up and you know,
another tackle for loss for the Crusaders. So three plays negative three yards
for the Patriots there. So it'sfourth and about fifteen for red Land and
(54:21):
that is Rico Scott back to receivethe putt and kick is up high putt.
Rico lets it hit it about theforty six yard line. It takes
a mcdebit bounce, rolls back towardsmidfield. They will down it at about
(54:42):
the forty eight yard line. That'swhere mcdebit will set up shop at their

there now look like the old wingt handoff the Marquise who Mark Keise just
rumbles. He's across the forty five, the forty he makes it all the
way down to the red wind thethirty six yard line. You have sixteen
yard pickup for Maurice. And Iknow we've said this multiple times tonight,
(55:52):
but no one touched him there inthe first level. He just came through
clean. They were running out ofthat pistol with the too split next to
Stone and just smooth, smooth runningthere for Barnes. Three to the right,
one to the left, two tothe left, you have empty set.
Stone is there by himself calling signalsrun and shoot, takes a snap
(56:15):
three step drop, he's looking,he's rolling and he goes down hits Rico
in about the twenty yard line fifteenand Rico goes out just inside the fifteen
yard line. That is too easy, too easy pitch and catch. Yeah,
they had Gage Ruth in their numbereighteen. He was the fifth receiver
(56:36):
in the slot to the near side, and Rico coming across the field on
his route, uncovered, caught itin stride and twenty two yards on the
play. So three point seven secondsleft here in the first quarter. Baul
is about at the fourteen yard line. First and ten for the Crusaders again.
(56:59):
Two men in the backfilled with stove, two to the right, one
to the left, hand off toMarquise up the middle, and Marquise is
stopped. This may be the firsttime they have stopped Marquise. Yeah,
Maurice Barnes, they're Colton Hoffman.Good penetration by forty four Hoffmen and hit

to nothing. Kick is up.It's refaled about the fifteen to twenty twenty
five as brought down right there totwenty five. That looks like it's number
forty three. Yes it is.Vinnie Brooks, one of the top tacklers
on the team this year for theCrusaders. In fact, coming in since
(01:00:50):
tonight, I believe he's second onthe team behind Cap Heart in tackles.
And that's you know he's doing doubleduty. He's starting a livebacker and he's

if not the first guys down there. JC and there you see him red
lamb will set up on their owntwenty five yard line. First and ten.
(01:01:13):
One man in the backfield, twoto the right, one split to
the left. LJ did not knowwhat to do. LJ turned to the
left. He was supposed to handoff to Colton Hoffman on the right,
and he just basically had to eatthat one. Yeah, big Cam Galloway,
number twenty three, the defensive tacklewho's in there this series? With
(01:01:37):
Jojo Harding on the stop and nogain for search there on the broken play,
LJ definitely looked like a sophomore onthat play, a deer in the
headlights. He had nowhere to go. So he did pick up a yard,
maybe a half a yard. Sowith the second probably nine and a
(01:01:57):
half. Yeah, it's i'll saynine three quarters from a red wind.
Again, three men slid to theleft, one to the right, one
in the backfield with LJ searts lookingquick pitch to the right and nothing doing.
The edge was sealed. He hadquick pitch to Hoffman and Luca to
(01:02:21):
the backfield and tackled him right aroundthe uh the ankles and brought him down
for no gain. Slowed Jig madean excellent play to seal the edge.
Yes, yes, they are quitethe tandem. Those two a defensive end,
really really formidable. So let mebe third down, and this time
definitely ten because they lost that quarterof a yard and three men split to
(01:02:47):
the left, one to the right, search calling signals with Hoffman in the
background with him between. Devin dropsback in coverage and they try to throw
out to hit number three, butit is picked off by mc demitt across
the thirty five thirty twenty five insidemaybe about the twenty two yard line.
(01:03:08):
That is number one Sam Smalls. That picked that one off. Looks like
lj kind of overthrew his man.Yes, Sam Small's in perfect coverage and
he was just waiting for that football. I mean he had a lot of
time. That ball sailed right tohim and again nice return across the field
of nineteen yards for Smalls, andSmalls knew what to do with it when
(01:03:31):
he caught it. Nice bit ofrunning, weaving his way down to about
the twenty three yard line where theCrusaders will set up shop on the red
land twenty three. So we havetwo to the left, two to the
right, one in the backfield, with Stone calling signals long count. Man
(01:03:53):
goes in motion to the right.Stone drops back looking, little flare pattern,
hits Rico with about the twenty yardline, and Rico takes it all
the way down to about the sevenmaybe the sixth little look in pattern,
quick throw, and Rico knew whatto do. Yeah, I mean the
(01:04:16):
Patriots early on dropping all those guysdeep to shut down the deep passing game.
And ever since then, JC Stoneand the receivers have really made hey
with the underneath routes, exploiting themiddle of the field, exploiting the flats.
You know, the middle of thefield's been wide open. And that
was another another chunk of sixteen yardsright there. Take what they give you.
(01:04:41):
Two on each side, split onein the backfield. Rico goes in
motion to the left. Stone looksoff to the left. It looks like
he was gonna hit Rico in theflat and he's gonna go back of the
end zone. Touchdown. That isnumber Johnte Quick, okay, quick,
number three, the freshman who coachWector was talking about quite a bit with
(01:05:03):
Marty there in the pregame interview.JC. It looked like he was going
to try to hit Rico in theleft flat who was running like a wheel
route. But quick was in theback of the end zone, middle of
the field, and good vision byStone to do his checkdown and he found
him. It's four touchdown passes already, ball is down, kick is up.
(01:05:27):
It is good. So at nineoh five left in the first half,
it score is twenty eight for Bishopmcdevon zero for red Land. We're
gonna take a break. We'll beback with more action. You listened to

(01:06:14):
five eighty. Thanks for listening toBishop mcdebit football. Now back to the
field, Missy Floyd longan Robbie recentRest Shore Stadium where the Mersaders and a
twenty eighth to nothing. The ballwas kicked off Red leg gets at the
(01:06:36):
fifteen twenty twenty five stopped at aboutthe twenty seven yard live where they will
set up shop. And that wasLucas Lawler there on the kick kick coverage
that time. It looks like itwas number thirteen for Redland, that is
(01:07:01):
that took the kick and Redland willstart on their own twenty seven yard line.
They'll have two men split to theleft, one to the right,
(01:07:24):
one to the backfield with LJ.Search their quarterback. Search hands off up
the middle and it looked like itwas an option play and Search tried to
pull the ball out and rpo andhe dropped it. He laid it down,
but he was able to get ontop of him. Yeah. He
again a lot of pressure being appliedby that defense and it looked like he
(01:07:45):
just was flustered there trying to,you know, decide if he should give
it to Hoffman or keep it andthen ended up on the turf and fortunately
for Redland, Search picked it upand only loses four yards rather than losing
the possession of the football, soRedland will have the ball at about their
(01:08:09):
own seventeen. Two men split tothe left, one to the right.
Search hands the ball up the middleagain to Hoffman who tries to bounce it
out to the left side off tackle, and he may have picked up he
may have gotten back to the originalline of Scrimm as close to it and
he ran right into the arms ofnumber seven Maurice Barnes who was waiting there.
(01:08:30):
Looks like he got about two backJC. So it's going to be
third and twelve seven nine left inthe first half. Small's in there standing
there a corner with Jamison Crumwell Rowlisonin the slot they have they have Parson
in there too. They actually havefour corners on the field right now,
(01:08:55):
so two to the left, oneto the right. Hoppin in the backfield
with LJ Search their quarterback calling signalsthe rush is on a Search is able
to get it out into the flaton the left side. He hits number
three for Redland and a pickup ofabout looks like about five. Yeah,
(01:09:15):
Gang tackling there. You saw Rawlison, Hopkins and Small's all flying to the
football to tackle Siler after just afive yard gain. Brady Syler a junior,
so to be fourth down. Ballis at the twenty yard line.
(01:09:41):
The yard to gain is actually that'sthe thirty yard line. Excuse me.
The yard to gain is about thethirty eight. So Redland lines up to
punt the ball back and we havea flag on to play. They're saying
a legal procedure. Ben Smith isback to punt for red Land, so
(01:10:11):
that's gonna move it back five.Ball now is at the twenty five yard
line. Rico is back deep atabout midfield to receive the punt, and
it looks like the Crusaders are goingafter it. Kick is up, it
(01:10:33):
is high, Rico lets it goover his head, a good punt,
hits it to thirty five and takesa tremendous red Land bounce. It is
inside the twenty yard line. Theystop it or rule it dead at about
the seventeen. Yeah, Rico wasat midfield and it went way over his
head, landed at about the thirtyfive and kept rolling. Yeah, And
(01:10:56):
honestly, you know, coach Wegteris not gonna be upside about that,
because in a game like this, all these short fields are great, but
you want to have your offense onthe field to be able to run some
offense run some different plays, youknow, as he said, sharpen up
some different concepts. So I'm surenobody on that sideline's upset with staring at
eighty two yards of artificial turf herethat they can work on some things real
(01:11:20):
quick. I just want to mentionmister Stickie's a mechanicsburg. This muffle has
a pumpkin, mister Stickies. Andagain, if you go to mister Sticki's
and use the code Crusaders twenty three, you can get ten percent off your
next order. On the Carlisle Pikebehind five guys, mister Stickie's my favorite
place. Crusaders are off hand offto Rico around the left side, and
(01:11:44):
Rico is off to the races theforty and he was tackled at the fifty
yard line. Number three sailor gothim. That was actually Nazir Jones Davis.
Okay, Number five, five, and six looks awful close. Well,
yeah, the the under armor numbersstrike again, Tony even don't even
get me started about that beautiful runaround the left side off the tackle,
(01:12:10):
and Nazir showed some speed on thatplay and it made it to the second
level and all he needed was justanother step and that would have been Wood
would have been to the house. So the ball is at midfield now the
fifty yard line. First intention tothe Satyrs, man spread on each side,
hand off again no Stone fakes, goes off into the left side,
(01:12:32):
right side to Rico. Little flarepass and Rico's out across the forty five
to forty just inside the forty aboutthe forty one yard line. Yeah,
speaking of just polishing up something there. That was a nice run pass option
where he faked the hand off toJones, Davis pulled it back hit Rico
crossing the formation here toward us tothe near side for a nice easy ten
(01:12:56):
yards and another first down. Stoneis excellent with his fake ten for fifteen
for Stone now for one thirty one. So the first intended the forty yard
like, just outside the forty, touching the forty man spread each side.
Stone calling signals hand off up themiddle of the Marquis bounces up, puts
(01:13:19):
his head down, contact pushes upto about the thirty five thirty four yard
line, so they're just rooting themout. Another excellent job, pickup of
about a long five. Yeah, the offensive line from left to right tonight,
(01:13:43):
we got to give them some recognition. Landing block David Smith. I
want Rebel, Jakai Logan and JJTorres with of course Nick's logic at tight
end. So second down, ashort five Stone back rushes on Stone gets
it off. He hits Chase Reaganat about the fifteen and Chase bounces off
(01:14:05):
a defender and takes it in touchdown. Mcdebit again. Chase Reagan is just
a magician. He caught that balland stride at the fifteen. As you
said, jac bounced off a tacklerand then just sidestep the second defender the
safety coming up on him, justeffortlessly just bounces off one guy without losing
(01:14:28):
any acceleration, just just whooped sidesteps the second guy and just actually made
him look silly. And he's incredible. Thirty four yard touchdown line up for
the extra point, ball is down, kicks up, It is good.
So with the score thirty five tonothing, Bisham mc devon over Redland four
to twenty one. Left in thefirst half. We're gonna keep it right
(01:14:51):
here. And I just wanted totell you that bishopmc deviit football is brought

listen to Tim tomorrow morning. He'llhelp you build a beautiful diversified portfolio,
global portfolio. So I think thatcoach Wector has shown us a little bit
(01:15:36):
of what we're going to expect forthe next couple of weeks with this onslaught
same Marty Bowman checks in with itsJC Shippensburg leading East Pennsburgo seven to six
in the second quarter. Kick usup down about the fifteen to twenty twenty
(01:15:56):
five thirty thirty five, forty fortyfive across midfield, maybe to about the
forty eight. I have to seewho ran that one back. It was
Anthony Shea Shaye kind of got alane on the outside on the sideline and
showed a little bit of quickness there, got a block and was able to
bring it out to midfield. Yeah, Jack Dawstin finally brought him down.
(01:16:18):
But as you said, about aforty five yard return there. So the
Crusaders are lining up to stop Redlandballs at about the forty eight yard line.
(01:16:40):
This is the furthest that Redland hasbeen and Crusader terrist the only time
they've been in Crusader territory. Tonight. LJ drops back to try to throw
a slant route and Redland is callingfor a flag. There is no flag.
A guy admit he may have gotthere early. And what by Chase
Reagan on the quarterback coming on asafety blitz from the top of the formation,
(01:17:05):
untouched and really pop search just ashe let go of the football.
So again, second and ten ballwith the I'm gonna say the forty eight
yard line and two men split tothe right, one to the left,
(01:17:33):
two in the backfield with LJ.He needs somebody to help protect him.
After that last one takes another dropagain, the Crusaders are putting on the
heat and he just threw it away. Yeah, that was ty Caphart.
Both both kep Hart and Barns werecoming on blitzes on the A gaps,
(01:17:54):
both of the A gaps, andkep Heart just leveled Search just as through
the football. Search kept two peoplein to help block, and that didn't
help. But that didn't even savehim. He just threw that one away.
There was only one receiver out onthe route too. So again it'll
(01:18:15):
be third down and ten for Redlandball at the forty eight yard line,
four h two left in the firsthalf. It's the running clock. We're
in the mercy role right now.Search calling signals one to the end of
the background. The rush is comingagain. And once again he had no
opportunity at all. That was numberthirty two. That was Lucas Lawler that
(01:18:44):
put the heat on and came aroundthe edge and Search never had a chance.
Nope, Lucas Lawler just beat thetackle and got in there pretty easily
and gets the sack. I believethat's his fourth of the season. Four
yard loss. So a great fieldposition, Redland can do nothing and they're
(01:19:09):
gonna have to put this one awayagain. Rico is back, Putt is
up, this time a short puntinstead of a long one. Rico lets
that one hit it to thirty,It rolls across the twenty five to twenty,
and once again rolls dead at aboutthe seventeen. So with three point
eighteen left in the first half, our score is thirty five to nothing.
(01:19:34):
Mcdebit is on top. Everyday.Pain shouldn't be your normal recovering from pain
or injury. Do that in selectphysical therapy, requesting the appointment online today
it select physical Therapy dot Com.Experience the power of physical therapy. Frusaders
(01:19:58):
come out and set up ball withtheir own eighteen just like last time,
yep, and last time it onlytook him four plays to go to eighty
two yards. JC three manspled tothe left, one to the right,
one in the backfield with Chase manin motion. Chase fakes drops backs looking
(01:20:24):
for a receiver, lots of timeand he's just gonna throw it away.
He couldn't find who he wanted to, so he was smart and threw that
one away before rather than take thesack. And Dallas Davenport number fifty four
is now playing right tackle in placeof JJ Torres and JC. I've talked
(01:20:47):
about this aff air with Marty andArden and the playing Davenport of tackle is
by design because come the postseason.Since JJ Torres was this is his first
year at mcdevon, since he wasa transfer into the school this year.
Because of the transfer rules him beinga junior, he will not be able
to play in the postseason that righttackle spot. So Dallas Stavenport, the
(01:21:13):
plan as of now is to slidehim over and play him a tackle.
And you're seeing him there now tonight. Some to get him, get him
accustomed to that looks like we havea bunch format hand off up to the
right on the left side, andthat looks like quick is It was stopped
in the backfield, but was ableto bounce it out around the left side
(01:21:38):
and yards after contact he was ableto pick up three almost four, third
and seven. It looked like hewas stopped in the backfield and through great
leg drive he was able to keepit going. So that's third and seven.
Now for the Crusaders, split tothe right, little bubble screen to
(01:22:01):
Rico on the right side, andRico is off to the races. Thirty
twenty five, twenty mama, I'mhome. Touchdown mcgimmitt seventy nine yards and
that quick screen, like you said, that whole side of the field opened
(01:22:23):
up, perfectly executed, and man, when Rico gets in the open field,
it's something to see. And what'samazing about Rico is you can be
even with him and it's too late. It's already too late. You're exactly
right, You're exactly right. Evenif you have the angle, you are
(01:22:43):
not gonna catch him. And hejust glides. No one, no one
even gained any ground on him.So they line up for the extra point.
Ball is down, kick is up, and it is good. With
two twelve left in the first half, it's Bishop me Devid forty two red
Land nothing, mister Deviit football isbrought to you by my favorite place,
(01:23:10):
mister Sticki's of Central Pennsylvania, locatedforty eight thirty Carlile Pike and Mechanicsburg.
You talk about mouth watering, stickybodies coffee. You can redeem tonight's.
You can go there and say Scrusader'stwenty three and you can get ten percent
off your next order. And asI was saying earlier, they have a
pumpkin mister Stickies, that's their specialmister Stickie of the month. You talk
(01:23:35):
about good homemade. This is likeMom used to make when we were growing
up. Mister Stickies of Central PA. Located on the Carlisle Pike and Mechanicsburg
thirty eight thirty behind five guys. That's in the same shopping center as Carns.
Mister Stickies, and we'll have themister Stickie player of the game at
the end of the game. SusQueena Township now leading Northern twenty to seven,
(01:23:58):
just under five minutes to go inthe short kick for the Crusaders down
to about the thirty and it willrested about the twenty seven to twenty eight
yard line. That's where red Landwill set up shop. With two oh
nine left in the first half. And I thought it was a rolling clock
because they've stopped the clock several times. Well, that will not happen until
(01:24:21):
that second half. JC. Therunning clock begins in the third quarter,
okay, so we will have arunning clock for the entire second half.
Red Land probably wishes it was runningdown. So two men spread to the
left, one to the right forsearch. Who's been searching for a receiver
(01:24:45):
all night? Hand off up themiddle and nothing doing. The Crusaders shut
it down. In fact, Idon't think they made it back to the
line of scrimmage. Yeah, thatwas Brady's that's on taking the handoff,
and he was met by Josiah Hardingand Vinnie Brooks and he did not even
(01:25:10):
make the line of scrimmage. Silereven had an extra blocker and that didn't
help. So that's a loss oftwo on the play. So it'll be
second and twelve. Ball is atthe twenty five yard YEP one thirty three
left here in the first half.So you have two spreads to the left,
(01:25:34):
two in the backfield with search colleaguesignals hand off on the right side.
Nothing two in crusaders are all overit. The safety tandem of Nevin
Hopkins and Chase Reagan both penetrating intothe backfield there to hit Siler. They
(01:25:57):
shut it down and they lose evenmore yardage. I think Red Lamb's moving
in the wrong direction always. Nowat about the twenty two yard they have
minus thirteen yards rushing here JC.They need to get the ball out to
about the thirty seven yard line toget a first down, So they got
(01:26:24):
a long way to go all right, one split to the left, one
to the right, man in motiontight end on the right side. They
hand off again and this time they'reable to break through and that is Skyler
again. He's out across the twentyfive out thirty out to about the thirty
three yard line before he's brought down, but that still is going to do
(01:26:46):
him any good. They still haveanother five yards to go. Kmris Barnes
drug him down from behind, sothat's gonna do it for the first half.
Well, the score debit forty twoRed Land nothing. We'll be back

and Rob mlis here at West ShoreStadium where the Crusaders are up forty twos
to nothing and what has been anawesome display of offense. The Crusaders are
rolling on all cylinders tonight, Rob. I'm impressed. Yeah, I mean,
they've done what we talked about pregameJC as far as being sharp in
(01:31:24):
all phases, no sloppiness, youknow, no carelessness. First half,
three hundred and fifty three total yardsfor mcdebitt and red Land with two yards
total offense, fourteen first downs tonothing. You can't. You can't be
any more dominant than that. Andin terms of spreading the ball around,
(01:31:45):
you know, Stone twelve for eighteenfor two forty four, Rico's caught seven
for one point fifty nine and twotouchdowns, Chase Reagan three for fifty three
and two touchdowns. Of course Nick'slogic, and don excuse me, Chantey
Quick had touchdown catches. Nevin Hopkinsalso had a reception. And then the
(01:32:05):
running back tandem, as we said, splitting the carries nicely, Maurice Barnes
seven for forty three, Zier JonesDavis five for fifty nine, So everybody
getting involved, defensively, you know, cap Hart setting the tone obviously that
he had the interception, and SamSmall's with the interception just great, you
(01:32:29):
know, great games by Maurice Barnes. So far, both of the safeties
Reagan and Hopkins doing a nice jobas well. Lucas Lawler. Are just
so many guys playing well and justutter domination. Kind of as we expected.
I have to say that we kindof expected the Crusaders to have a
good game, but the way thatthey have scored, the ease in which
(01:32:55):
they have scored is what's most impressive. They can be anywhere in the field
at any time. En Rico Scottto me is just amazing. Chase Reagan
ain't that bad either, but theyhave really put a display on. So

(01:40:38):
and Rob Leaves. You're at WestShore Stadium with the Crusaders are leading right
now, forty two to nothing atthe half. One score I forgot to
give you was Aliquippa and nothing thatscores at the halftime. I told you
earlier about the effort of Quinn Valleyand that game was very important, and
(01:41:00):
the score and the fact that TwinValley is trailing twenty eight to seven,
the reason being the District three fourA power rankings are out and this week,
of course, the Crusaders are numberone, but Twin Valley is number
two in the four A District threeat seven and zero. And what I
(01:41:26):
found interesting about Twin Valley is Ilooked at any common opponents and there are
none but Twin Valley. They didbeat Lower Dolf from twenty four to twenty
one, and the last two weeksthey have had Squeakers beating Solanco twenty nine
to twenty eight, and last weekjust got by Garden Spot thirty five to
(01:41:47):
thirty four. So with them losingat this point and if it plays out,
that should drop them a little bit. And the District three four A
power rankings rock Yeah. And lastyear, if you're if you remember,
they played mcdebit in the semi finalat rock O Ortenzio Stadium. Twin Valley
played in the semifinal. Mcdebit handledthem easily. But you know the thing
(01:42:12):
for twin Valley is right now they'resitting at too, like you said,
and if they were able to maintainthat, you know you'd avoid playing mcdebbit
until the final. But if theyshould lose tonight, they're most likely going
to drop because you've got Mannheim Central, who right now is beating Conestoga Valley
twenty to seven, right on theirheels, and you've got Lampeter Strasburg also
(01:42:35):
right on their heels, and Iwas trying to get their score. They
have a big game tonight with withElco and that in their in their division,
and that's you know, that's akey game because Elko is sitting at
seven and right now, the mostrecent score I have is I have a
halftime score with Lampeter Strausburg beating Elcotwenty one. Nothing, so both Manheim
(01:43:00):
Central and LS look like they're gonnawin. So yeah, the pressure really
is on Twin Valley JC, otherwisethey risk falling behind and being in a
situation where they potentially would have toget the Crusaders in the semi final,
and they wouldn't want that until untilthe final. Obviously, East Pensboro they're
having a good season. They'rend.Five, yes, and then Township we
(01:43:21):
saw is winning and even though theyhave a five and two record, they
should at least hold the number sixpots. Yeah, but East pens up
twenty seven. Now I'm already Bowmangiving us the update there over Ships.
So they're winning, Susqueen's winning.Elco could drop down, but I'll be
honest with you, I think there'sa pretty steep drop there when you look
(01:43:42):
at the teams past Elko. Youknow, Eastern York's five and two,
but to be honest, you knowthe York County teams typically are not very
strong when they come up and playagainst a midpen team. And then obviously
the Crusaders have already seen Milton Hershey. Now that that's a big game tonight
Milton Hershey and Lower Dolphin, Becauseif Milton Hershey wants to have any chance
(01:44:08):
to get one of those last spotsin four A, they're gonna have to
uh, they're gonna have to upsetLower Dolphin tonight. And and wow,
I just I just see this scoredown from from Dan Sastik from Penn Live.
He's covering the game. Milton Hersheythirty four to seventeen over Lower Dolphin
(01:44:29):
at halftime. So that is aneye opener. That's a big eye opener.
But as she said, once youstart getting down to Milton Hershey and
everybody below, there is a sharpdrop off. And again I think the
only people that the only school thatcan come out of this is maybe Milton
Hershey and and right now the debit, they would have a bye in the
(01:44:54):
first round. Yeah, the firstsix teams would get buys. Okay,
because with the with the ten teambracket, which is always kind of funky
to me, the first week you'reonly gonna have four teams play. You're
gonna have seven play ten and eightplay nine. And mcdebbitt would match up
with the eight versus nine winner inthat first game. So last year,
Jac, that was East Pennsborough andthat was not that was not much of
(01:45:16):
a football game at all. Well, again, if things play out the
way that we hope they will,we'll get that buy and everyone will be

at West Shore Stadium where we're finishingup with halftime. The teams have just
now taken the field again mcdemon upforty two to nothing, so give them
a chance to warm up before weget into second half action. The one
thing I forgot to mention in thelast three Rob, is we keep talking
(01:50:56):
about Al equipper because we've seen themcome out of the West End with the
last two years. And yeah, they're on a roll and they're undefeated so
far this season. But a teamthat I have been watching and I'm kind
of more afraid of this year thanAl Equippa, believe it or not,
is TJ Thomas Jefferson. They areundefeated, they are on a role.
(01:51:18):
In fact, they are currently winningfifty to nothing over Ringgold at the half
JC. They actually were upset lastweek. What they were upset last week
by Trinity obviously not our Trinity,Not Trinity from camp Hill, but the
(01:51:39):
Trinity from the whipile the Trinity Hillers. It was a huge upset twenty three
to six over TJ. And that'samazing because I remember giving the score last
week and TJ was up over theHillers when I gave the smooth halftime.
So right now, it's not todismiss what you said because I had been
(01:51:59):
hearing the same things prior to thatgame that a lot of people out in
District seven felt that TJ and probablystill feel that TJ is going to be
right in the mix with Aliquippa forthat for that whippy old championship. But
I guess the point is, youknow, al equipp is still veral dangerous,
(01:52:24):
TJ will be in the mix.You know, I don't know much
about McKee. Sport. Central Valleywas also upset last week by Montour twenty
one twenty So you know, fourA and District seven is always wild,
you know that. Yeah, Andhopefully we'll have to worry about that after
(01:52:45):
we take care of District three andonce again, will we play when we
go out west or will we playthe East? Big devid is again it's
a two year cycle, so thebracket for the state tournament will be the
same as it was last year.So that means that when mcdebit travels,
(01:53:08):
assuming they do when District three, they won't have to travel west. They
will play somewhere this side of thestate. Now, last year, District
three was technically the home team inthat state semifinal, mcdebvid still had to
go to Exeter, so it wasn'tlike they were playing in her backyard.
But two years ago they played downat Lancaster or I'm sorry, not like
(01:53:34):
Coatesville. They played at Coatesville. When the district District one District twelve champ
was supposed to host, they playedBishop Shanahan down there. Last year District
three was supposed to be the host, they still traveled the mckee'sport. So
or my gosh, i'm all overto place here jac they still travel to
Exeter. This year, mcdebit willprobably have to travel somewhere and right now,
(01:53:58):
a very i don't't say likely, but possible opponent in that game would
be Pope John Paul, the secondfrom District one from suburban Philadelphia. They're
seven and zero and they're currently rankedthird in the state behind mcdevid and al
Equippa. So Pope John Paul thesecond is a team to watch, you
(01:54:20):
know, to possibly come through thatthat that bracket they'll have to play,
you know, the district District twochampion, probably either Valley View or Dallas,
you know, like we saw Crestwoodlast year. So keep your eyes
jac On Pope John Paul the second. I was very impressed with the Max
(01:54:42):
Preps when they did the overall staterankings and they had us at number five
in the state and they had outequipment at number fourteen, So I was
happy with that. The teams lineup for the kickoff of the second half
since red Land won the toss andthe third they who will be receiving.
They'll be going from our left toright, and the ball is kicked up.
(01:55:04):
It is down to about the fifteenwhere it's taken there across the twenty
up to about the twenty three totwenty four and maybe out to the twenty
five before it pushed out of bounds, and that's where the Patriots will set
up shop. And that was numberfour Anthony say on the return and he
(01:55:25):
was brought down by Jack Dawson, number forty two, the sophomore linebacker who
we've called quite a bit here thisseason on specials. So mcdebbitt will still
looks like they still have the firstdefense out there. You've got Logic Harding,
Davenport and Lawler up front, Barnes, cp Hart and Jayden Chasing at
(01:55:46):
linebacker, the freshman number thirty four, Parson and crumwoll are the corners,
Hopkins and Reagan the safeties. Ball'sonder twenty five handoff up the middle,
off to the right tackle and nothingdoing maybe a yard. That was Slayer
again, Search handed off the Slayerand nothing doing maybe half a yard.
(01:56:09):
And that was Jade and Chase, who I just mentioned, a freshman linebacker
in the game leading the way thereon that stop. So the second and
a long nine ball just short ofthe twenty one yard line, actually the
twenty six yard line. Excuse mefor red Land Jaden Garns in the game
(01:56:32):
at safety from McDavid as well Mansplit on each side, two in the
backfield, going in motion to theleft, hand off to the up man
trying to go up the middle, and it was shut down immediately. That
was Hoffman taking the carry. Yeah, he was just swallowed up by the
(01:56:53):
white shirts. Slgic and Lawl areboth in air on that play and cap
Hart all three of them thirty thirtytwo and thirty three. Looks like there
was no gain on the play.Yeah, so they're making a long third
down, third and nine for thePatriots again, the ball on their own
(01:57:15):
twenty six, just touching the twentysix yard line. He just started the
third quarter nine to forty seven left, rolling clock and Crusaders come up.
It looks like they're gonna bring someheat and Search is trying to roll out
to his left. He's gonna takeit and run it himself, and he
is up, He's down. Helaid the ball down and the Crusaders pick
it up. Are they gonna letthis one slide? They are saying it's
(01:57:41):
a fumble Maritice Barnes on the onthe recovery, Search tried to roll out,
pulled it down and tried to runand he got tagged and separated from
the ball and the Crusaders were righton it. Yeah. Jay r Rawlison
made the head. Rawlson made thetackle force the fumble ball popped up Maurice
(01:58:04):
Barnes on the recovery and the Crusadersare on the seventeen yard line eighteen yard
line of red Land where they willset up shop. First down, two
(01:58:25):

Stone steps hands off up the middleend. This is a walk into
the park all the way to theend zone, Jazir Jones, Davis.
They just parted that thing and hejust cruised jac. I mean it was
(01:58:45):
a massive lane for him there. You could have walked through that when he
was not touched, all the waystraight to the house. It's too that
was too easy. It was thatwas way too easy. You say,
his lineup for the extra point, ball is down, kick is up and
(01:59:13):
it is good. So at eightthirteen left in the third quarter, the
score now is bishopy Devid forty nine, red Land Nothing. We'll be back

one thirty and a half. Let'sput it there. That's where the Patriots
will set up shop. They havenot had anything going or working for them
offensively to night, and this isthe This is a heck of a way
to break your way into midpen conference. I'm talking about LJ Search, their
(02:01:06):
sophomore quarterback. He has been underfire tonight. Two men in the backfield,
tight formation, hand off again tothe deep man up across the left
side, left tackle, maybe maybea yard. Yeah, that was Brady

(02:01:30):
I think Red Land has pretty muchgiven up on trying to throw the
ball, which is what they didlast week against Paul Myra. Yeah,
they just want to keep they justwant to keep things moving at this point,
right. Yeah, So they've goneto a tight formation and trying to
run the ball and they have hadno success. This time, they put
(02:01:53):
two on the right side, spreadtwo in in the backfield with search calling

a two yard loss for Patrick.Third and eleven for the Patriots. Two
men spled to the left, oneto the right. Search drops back.
They tried to run a screen passand nothing doing. In fact, number
(02:03:00):
eleven for Bishop mc demmitt was probablythe closest man. That was yarr Rolison
of JayR. Ralison and h.Search was kind of throwing the ball away,
but JayR Head eyes yeah, andhigh cap Heart was applying some heat
there. Do we have a penaltyhere? Looks like they're gonna mark something
(02:03:26):
off here against mcdavitt. They aremarking off fifteen yards for what we have
not set. I believe it's anunsportsmanlike conduct. Are you kidding? That's
what? So that's gonna give themtheir first first down of the game we're
waiting for. I have not seena signal, but that's what they do.
(02:03:50):
The ball has moved out to theforty five yard line of red Land
and I never saw indicator of whatit was. But fifteen yard wasn't unsportsmanlike
conduct, all right? So Redland. Search drops back, tries to throw
(02:04:11):
a screen pass to the other side. This time it's completed, and this
time they get some positive yards upthe right side that Sailor and he's out
across the fifty, cross the fortyfive up to about the mcdemmit forty three,
So cute. The crusader's been bringingthe heat and search was able to
(02:04:33):
get it off and Sailor you twelveyard gain. First first first down of
the night other than the other thanthe one they just got by penalty.
Longest game of the night, oneof the few positive yard each plays that
the Patriots have had. Three pointfifty now left in the third quarter again
(02:04:54):
to score forty nine to nothing.Patriots moving the ball from our right to
left towards the inner state and Sailorwith three men spread to the left,
the man going in motion to theright, and he comes back again and
Sailor's trying. They try to runthe screen pass again, and this time
the Crusaders were ready. Yeah,he was looking for the tight end there.
(02:05:17):
Number eighty eight, Bryce Phillips,Chase Reagan was right with him,
Yes he was. And mcdabbit againbrought the blitz and really heated that up.
In a hurry. Several Crusaders camefree Search basically has no time to
wait for anything to develop, andthe only thing they can run is some
(02:05:40):
quick hitches. Three minutes down leftin the third quarter, once spread to
the left, two to the right, one of the backfield was searched.
Second and ten for red land search. The rush is on again. They
tried to rawl. This time theCrusaders bat the ball in the air.
They keep trying to run these screenpasses, and the rush is on,
(02:06:04):
and the Crusaders were able to batthat one down before they could even set
it up. Yeah, it was. It was like a middle screen and
Nick's logic, penetrating there in perfectposition, just got his arms up and
batted that down. Search now threefor ten, passing for just sixteen yards.
(02:06:26):
Jac That's what we used to callin the old days, to jailbreak.
Yes, because everybody's Kenny again. It's third and ten now balled about
the forty two forty three yard lineof the Crusaders type formation. Search is
(02:06:47):
now looking. He's trying to throwa little slant and I think the Crusaders
intercepted this one. It's Leon Parsonnumber twenty one. On the interception there
they went to the well one juniorcorner. Yep, they went to the
well one too many times, andthey tried to squeeze that one in and
(02:07:09):
the Crusaders were waiting on that onethird interception of the night, fourth takeaway
for this war Eagle defense. Sothe ball will be at the forty yard
line, just touching the forty ofthe Crusaders, where they will have first
and ten a minute thirty left inthe third quarter, running clock forty nine
(02:07:30):
to nothing, and the Crusaders lineup two split to the right, one
to the left. Two in thebackfield was stoned hand off up the middle
and maybe about a three four yardgame. It was Barnes Maurice. I've
(02:07:58):

of Marquise. We're thinking of MarquiseWilliams. I know, yeah, you
are so right. It's Maurice.Excuse me. I hope no one gets
mad at me for that one seconddown now fall is about the forty four
(02:08:24):
yard line, about long six togo for the Crusaders. Two men's played
to the right, one to theleft, Stone calling signals high snap,
and Stone just falls on it.He did the smart thing high snap over
his head. That's been a recurringthing this season. I mean that's probably
you know, talking about some othergames we'recalling with Marty and Art. I
(02:08:46):
mean that is probably the fourth timeor so that there's been a snap like
that above Ston's head that's gone intothe backfield that he's had to cover.

(02:10:45):
And they're saying fourth down, butit's so second. No, it
is fourth because because of the badsnap. Oh yeah, the Barns running
the bad snap. So so forthe first time tonight, the Crusaders will
punch from their own forty four. It's Liam Cox and they put on a

(02:11:09):
but they're able to get on it. Number one for that's Josh Patrick

Things have not been going well forred Land to night. So we have
(02:11:31):
a Roman clock ten thirty six leftin the game. Ball is at the
twenty three yard line of red Land, and we've got a lot of reserves
in right now. Defensive end,David Maltestinik, Spencer Musty's in there,
(02:11:52):
Gabe Robson at defensive end. RJ. Duffy, will Yost and Jack Dawson
are in there at linebacker. We'llcall the rust of them out then,
all right, the handoff off theright tackle and they're able to get some
positive yards on this one and pushit out. That is forty four Hunt.
That's Hoffman and he's brought down byMalis Hessenik, and it looks like
(02:12:16):
number forty five Ryan Pearson also inthere, the freshman linebacker. Five yard

Yeah, it's a sophomore safety,Tyler Reinhart. Tyler stuck his head in

you get along two third down forRed Lamb for them to get a first
(02:13:01):
down, rolling clock, nine minutesleft to go in the game, forty
nine and nothing. Two men spreadto the left, one in the backfield,

number thirty one. RJ. Duffy, Great job, five and seventy
(02:13:24):
five pounds. Sophomore linebacker came upand met him in the backfield and Siler.
Siler lost about four yards on thatplay. Three yards. Actually,
I think that the Crusaders pretty muchknow that Red Lamb's going to run the
ball and they are just loading upthe box. Yep, yeah, great
(02:13:48):
job by RJ. Duffy there,Jayalen Wormsley in there and now linebacker twenty
four. They're even playing up.So it's fourth down now and the Redland
tries to go for it, andI tell you what, they might be
close. That was up the middle. That was I don't think he got
it. No, they're going togive it to him. It was Hoffman
(02:14:11):
again. Yep. They still gottheir first teamers in there and the Crusaders
were not able to stop that.Avery remains in there a corner along with
a Keelan Smith. We talked aboutTyler Reinhart number fourteen. Dontavious Luckett also
in there at safety. So theball now is at the thirty four yard
(02:14:35):
line of red Land where they havea first down. They do a shift
to men go in motion, handoff to Hoffman again off the right side,
and he's able to pick up aboutthree yards. Nothing Fancy had on
the hat, Jack Dawson and RyanPearson combining on the stop to bring up
(02:15:00):
second down. Seven h nine leftin the contest. Next week on the
schedule for the Crusaders is Mifflin County, Right, yes, sir, That
will be Senior Night next Friday nightfor the senior class at rock Ortsenzio Stadium.
(02:15:22):
Of course, we'll have all theaction for yard Selby. We'll be
back next Friday night. Second down, two splits to the left. This
time Search tries to do a fakeand pull it out and run around the
left corner where the Crusaders were waitingfor him. We have a flag in
the play. Jack Dawson, greatjob staying home there, not buying the
(02:15:43):
fake coming up and hitting search fora loss of about four. We'll wait
for the flag holding red Land thathas declined because there was a loss of
yardage on the play. They keptrunning that same play up the middle.
I figured they must have figured thatthe Crusaders would bite on the boot leg
and it just wasn't happening. Soit's third down now and a long I'd
(02:16:11):
have to say eight yards. Yeah, I agree, it's long age short
nine. So this time they handoff again to Sailor trying to go around
the right side. He's able toget to the corner, but the Crusaders
bring him down and they're trying toact like there was a fumble, but
the officials are saying, no,it's still red Land ball. And they're
(02:16:33):
saying once again, first down, ball out to about the forty five yard
line, just barely touching the fortyfive. And this is what we see
a lot of times in these gameswhen mcdebit puts the backups in and the
other team keeps their first string inand they just run the ball, run
the ball, run the ball, run the ball. And it chews up
a lot of time, and unfortunatelythe mcdebit's second team offense then does not
(02:16:56):
get much of a chance to comein and play. And this time they
hand the ball off the Sailor goingaround the left side, and he's able
to make the edge and take itout across the fifty over to about the
forty five yard line, and Ithink just short of the forty five to
four. Well, he's about ayard short more positive yards, so it'll
(02:17:24):
be third second down down ball atthe forty six yard line. Four forty
five left to go in the game, forty nine and nothing. Mcdibbitt and
Search hands off the sailor again upthe middle, and this time he's only
able to pick up about three threeand a half, but that is enough
(02:17:45):
for a first down. Did willYost number thirty seven for the Crusaders,
one hundred and sixty five pounds, sophomore linebacker on the stop Sailor comes out
he needs a break. He tookhis helmet off. I think that he
might have got his bell running atlast one. So Hoffman is back in
(02:18:07):
as there the running back behind Search, two men spread to the left side.
They hand off to Hoffman growing upthe middle once again, and he's
able to pick up about three yardsbefore the Crusaders, stopping Ryan Pearson amongst
(02:18:28):
a host of Crusaders on the stop. There three fifty three forty now left
in the contest. Hoffman comes out, he says I've had enough, and
Sailor goes back in. They're alternatingright now. You mentioned Art Selby,
and hopefully we'll see Marty Bowman backon the mic next week too, how
(02:18:52):
about it. I'd love to seeMarty back. Marty had a great interview
with coach Weckner earlier seven it.Hopefully you heard, and if you didn't,
we post all the games on thefourteen sixty Fox dot com website so
you can catch all the mischieban debitaction in case you miss it. Sailor
(02:19:13):
rolls to his right, goes longand tries to throw a pass down the
uh A long deep post pass hewas trying to hit. Who's this just
trying to hit Patrick? Number one? Josh Patrick? In great coverage by
Avery Romayne number twenty six, thesophomore corner who timed that thing perfectly and
(02:19:39):
hit Patrick just as the ball gotthere. So nice job by Avery remain
Patrick, he was open for amoment. He was remain just showed his
closing speed. That's it. Hewas able to get there. Eece Pensburn
now up twenty seven to seven overNorthern. At the end of the third
(02:20:03):
Search hands fakes again. The sailorrolls out to his right. He's looking
for somebody and he's able to getthe pass off. He hits number five
for a red land that passes insidethe twenty yard line. Yeah, that
was Corey Miller, number five, the senior and Tyler Reinhart on the stop.
(02:20:24):
That was their longest play of thenight, nineteen yards and Search was
lucky to get that pass off becausehe had someone barreling right down on him
and took a good look afterwards. One thirty six left now in the game.
Ball now is just outside the twentyabout the twenty one yard line of
(02:20:46):
mcdebit. Search callin signals. He'slooking off to his left a deep slant
pattern and it is right through Patrick'shands. Patrick had that one. It
was a perfectly run slant and itjust went right through his hands. We
were beat on that play. Thatlooked like number twenty eight. That was
(02:21:11):
actually Avery Romaine again twenty six, twenty six. Avery was beat on that
play. He was lucky. Andthey're hurrying up here as we're under a
minute to go to try to getsomething on the board. Game one.
Search's rolling again. This time theygood play. They tried to hit the
tight end out in the flat andthat I can't see the number on that
(02:21:33):
one. It was knocked down bythe Crusadan linebacker. It was number thirty
one. RJ. Duffy. TylerReinhardt came in on a safety blitz to
pressure Search as he was trying tothrow an RJ. Duffy in coverage hit
the tight end and broke up thatplay, and Red Land here calling a
time out with forty five seconds leftin the game, with a third down
(02:21:56):
and ten coming up. Again,we will have the mister Stickies player of
the game. After the game,East Pennsburgh twenty seven to seven over Ship.
Kind of a light night of locally, the bigger games were in the
(02:22:20):
l and Burke's areas, and wegave you some of those at halftime.
So again, forty five seconds leftin the contest, third down and about
ten camp Pill and Trinity is stillseven to seven. Is Campill with a
big goal line stand, really pushingthe Shamrocks, who were trying to avoid
(02:22:43):
their third loss of the season. All right, search calling, signals went
in the backfield, one split tothe left. He's going again looking for
a receiver. They run an outskinny post and the ball is up and
is it intercepting? Yes, itis. Dante Luckett picks it off in
(02:23:03):
the end zone. It's a lateflag down. After the play's over,
it's gonna be it's gonna be anexcessive celebration. And he jumped up with
the ball after we made a heckof an interception. I don't think there
was anything excessive about that at all. It was a great play by Dante
Luckett, fifth turnover of the night. They're saying unsportsman liked unsports conduct against
(02:23:28):
you know what I think they thinkabout that. That's a joke and it
was basically due to everyone. Justyeah, I mean, people are fired
up. You know, these areyour backups. These kids are scrapping for
everything they can do. And DanteLuckett with a heck of a play.
If you remember JC when they playedCedar clip over here, Dante Luckett was
the guy that tracked down. Rememberthe long when Cedar Cliff was trying to
(02:23:52):
score it along and he tracked thatkid down and stripped the ball that R.
J. Duffy recovered. That that'sanother hustle play. Dante Lockett right
there to preserve the shutout. Hatsoff to that young man. So thirty
three seconds left to go in thecontest. Take the victory formation and take
a Dean and yoursaderes line up andthey're gonna hand it off up the middle,
(02:24:20):
off the right side, routed fifteento twenty twenty. Yep, just
over the twenty yard line, andthat should do it. That was Joshua
Culver. He got a few yardsin. So once again the Crusaders have
done it. They are now eightand oh whether forty nine to nothing victory
(02:24:43):
over the rent Land Patriots. We'llbe back with the postgame show. You

the game, and you know,it's like, this is hard, It

there was a lot of points onthe board tonight. Yeah, they're sure
(02:27:24):
where and if you joined a sladeit got started off with a methodical drive
eighty yards fourteen placed capped off byStone Saunders to Chase Reagan for a five
yard touchdown pass made it seven tonothing, but Debitt with five point thirty
seven to play in the first quarter, first play scrimmage for red Lands High
cap Heart picked it off. Firstof five turnovers by that War Eagle defense.
(02:27:46):
Tonight sat mcdebit up on a shortfield and Stone Saunders to Rico Scott
seventeen yard touchdown made it fourteen nothingwith three point thirteen to play in the
first quarter. Second quarter, firstplay of the second quarter, we had
a tight end touchdown, Stone Saundersto Nick's logic the East Carolina Pirate commitment.
(02:28:07):
Fifteen yard touchdown pass made it twentyone to nothing. Just four seconds
into the second quarter, and sewingseries, Redland throws another interception. This
time it was Sam Small's the seniorcorner, picking it off. Two plays
later, Stone Saunders to the freshmanJohn tay Quick for the seven yard touchdown
(02:28:28):
that made it twenty eight to nothing. Mcdebit with nine h five to play
in the half, another three andout by the defense. Mcdebit goes eighty
two yards and four plays. Thistime it was Stone Saunders to Chase Reagan,
who bounced off a Tackler made agreat move on a thirty four yard
touchdown to make it thirty five nothing, and then after Lucas Lawler sacked,
(02:28:50):
the Crusaders got it at their owneighteen to one. More time, Stone
Saunders on the screen and Rico Scottthe Alabama commitment did the rest seven nine
yards zooming to the end zone andmade it forty two to nothing at halftime.
Third quarter, first possession for Redland, forced fumble from j Rolison.
(02:29:13):
Maurice Barnes pounces on it. Nextplay, Vizier Jones Davis goes eighteen yards,
huge hole. By that offensive line, they were dominant tonight landon block.
David Smith, Owen Rebel, JakaiLogan, JJ Torres and Dallas Davenport
came in and played some mo lineas well. Nick slogic get tight end
(02:29:33):
and it was forty nine to nothingand that was it. I mean,
Leon Parson had an interception and thenDontavius Luckett with the twos in there against
the Redland Ones at the end, backed up in their own end. Luckett
in the end zone with the interception, the fifth turnover of the night for
mcdebitt. And that's where we endedforty nine nothing tonight Crusaders winning their twenty

you know, Rico is back,he had that seventy nine yard touchdown,
and then there's Chase Reagan that continueshis onslaught. But Rob, I
think you came up with the bestsuggestion, mister Stickie's player. The game

the football game they limited Redland totwo yards. Two yards at halftime is
(02:37:18):
all they had on sixteen plays. They did not have a first down until
the second half. And sixty sixtotal yards and those five turnovery tonight,
the interceptions from ty Cap Heart,Sam Small's, Leon Parson, Dontavius Luckett,
and the fumble recovery by Maurice Barneson the head by Jay R.
Rollinson. Got to give it tothe mcdebit defense. I cannot argue with
