sixty the twenty twenty four five A State champs are Back.
Bishop mcdebit High School Football twenty twenty five is on

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Thanks for listening.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
It's time for the pregame show, a preview of our game.
I'll look around the area at other games, and a
chat with head coach Jeff Wector and more. Cruz Sader
Football is brought to you by Constellation Energy, Tim Decker
of Green Spring Advisors and Select Physical Therapy. Now let's
head out to the field for our pregame show.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
All right, we're actually not at the field today. Art
Selby back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios today
with Marty Bowman and Bishop mcdebit. Football is on the
air in kind of a unique way today we're back
here in the studios, but we'll we'll keep the information
flowing and fill you in on what's happening at Severnsfield
this afternoon. Of course, Bisha mcdebit and Harrisburg a second
(01:04):
week midpenn Commonwealth battle here last week, two different games
for each team. Of course, Bishop mcdebit last week losing
its opener to Clarkson North and the York Rose Bowl Classic.
A bit of a frustrating game for Bishop mcdebbit as
they fell down on the long run by the quarterback
Jacob Mouler it was about twenty one yards out. Crusaders
(01:25):
would battle back though, Sebastian Williams with a nice five
yard touchdown pass to John Tate Quick would tie the
game up. For mcdebit kind of felt like the Crusaders
might come back and take over the game and at
that point, but another long run by Moeller would set
up another score by Clarkson North and they would go
up fourteen to seven. Mcdebitt with a good drive to
(01:46):
end the first half, but they just could not capitalize
on a fourth down and five situation, so the Crusaders
went into the locker room down fourteen to seven at
that point. Just a lot of some costly penalties defensively
for mcdebit, some key drops at certain points in the game,
and the Crusaders would have opportunities to tie this thing up.
A pass down the middle to John Tae Quick look
(02:07):
like there's some contact, refs let it go, and just
some unfortunate plays for mcdebit. Finally the Crusaders would go
down twenty to seven. At that point, they tried to
battle back, they just couldn't get it done. And then
Clarkson North put one of those long drives together to
end the game and run the clock out and put
some points on the board, and that pretty much wrapped
it up. Some numbers for that game. Last week, Sebastian
(02:30):
Williams and his first start at Bishop mcdebbit thirteen to
twenty six, one hundred and ten yards, one touchdown, one interception.
Swoops in the game was fourteen rushes fifty two yards.
Receiving wise, he had one reception for eleven yards. Total
yards on the ground for mcdebit they had fifty five
and of course passing one hundred and ten and definitely
(02:52):
a stat you just never see with Bishop mcdebit. Zero
first downs in the second half of that game. Marty,
it was just a tough afternoon for bishe mci debit.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
It was, and that as you bring out that last point,
that's what was alarming, and talking to one of the
coaches before the game, the hope mcdebit had was to
pound the ball at Clarkson and wear them down and
be able to take take control of the football game
in the second half. And it exactly was reversed on
(03:21):
mcdebit where Clarkson just they took over that game, and
that was alarming. Mcdebitt had trouble blocking in the blocking teams. Now,
not to make excuses, they had four new offensive alignment duds.
Slower the center the only veteran on that line, but
they had the four offensive linemen, which you would have
(03:43):
to think that they were You know that they were
worked a lot with this week to try to get
them ready for today, but that the concern was the
blitzing and mcdebitt was just not able as they say,
to put a hat on a hat to match up
with that. So that was costly.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
The Cougars of Harrisburg, obviously a very difficult team, a
six to a team got into the state championship game
a couple of years in a row. Mcdevin and Harrisburg
up until last year, had not played since twenty seventeen.
Last year obviously a classic football game over Rock Partenzio Stadium,
a game I'm sure vision mcdebitt felt they should have won.
Some coke made two long plays for Harrisburg to really
(04:21):
stun the Crusaders game would get the overtime, Harrisburg would
score and get to two point conversion. Crusaders would get
the touchdown and then Stone's pass onto two point conversion
just Dolph Mark a little bit there, and mcdebbitt would
lose the game thirty five thirty three. When these teams
met back in twenty seventeen at Severn's Field, that was
the Michael Parsons game. Harrisburg won that game thirty five. Nothing.
(04:44):
Before that, the Crusaders had won eight in a row
against Harrisburg dating all the way back to two thousand
and eight, and mcdebitt leads the all time series twenty
one sixteen against Harrisburg since the Midpenn Conference started in
eighty two and coach wectors fourteen and seven against Harrisburg,
and he has a pay District three Quad A playoff
victories against the Cougars as well. Harrisburg comes in a
(05:06):
lot of momentum last week of forty to twenty six
win against MMETEP. They played the game after Bishop mcdebit
did down at New York Rose Bowl Classic. Some notes
on them of course, Mickens the kid going to Penn State,
one hundred and seventy one yards and four touchdowns in
the win. Elias Coke that we mentioned his name from
the mcdebit game last year. He's headed to Rutgers. He
(05:28):
caught seven passes, one hundred and twenty two yards and
two touchdowns. And mcal Shank Junior his second start. He
threw for one hundred and fifty one yards and three
touchdowns in that game for Harrisburg and the defensively, Jayon Lewis,
he had three picks. He actually played quarterback against Bishop
mcdebit last year. In that game he had fourteen completions
(05:49):
two hundred and thirty six yards and a touchdown in
the game for the Cougars at Rock Rotenzio Stadium last year.
And of course you go here some of the other
names on this this team for the Cougars. Kevin Brown,
two hundred and ninety pound senior. He's headed to Penn Stage.
He's one of the top linemen in the country. So
we'll hear his name mentioned. He's a tough competitor for
(06:11):
this Harrisburg Cougar's team. But Mary he did a good
interview with coach Wector this week. So what we're gonna
do now is take a break and we'll listen to
that interview in two parts, and we'll have today's weather forecast.
That's all coming up next. You're listening to the Bisho
mcdebit pregame show here on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and
I hear radio.
Speaker 1 (06:31):

Speaker 1 (08:11):
This is Bishop mcdebit Football twenty twenty five on Fuck
Sports fourteen to sixteen.
Speaker 8 (08:20):
Where Are You Going Along?
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Te Park Telby and David coach Jeff wecktor Bishom Mcdevit
High school coach, the team from the North came down
a lot of talk before the game, knew they were
going to be physical. I think one of the hopes
from your staff was you would wear them down in
the second half and be able to take over with
the run game. But that never really happened, and we'll
talk about it. They kind of maybe wore us down.
(08:42):
But let's look back on Saturday. They brought some things,
a young offensive line for you, brought a lot of
blitzers and everything made it really tough on the run game,
which I know you were hoping to get that run
game established and give the new quarterback time to come along.
Speaker 8 (08:57):
Talk a little bit about Saturday.
Speaker 9 (08:59):
Yeah, I mean won the out run the football, which
we did. I mean we picked up the first town
in the first series run the football, and we felt
we barely had any film on them. We had a
scrimmage on them tape where you're not gonna show you
a lot, and we did run the ball. We felt
we could run it and we did well. You know,
(09:20):
they did what they should have done. They blitzed us.
We have a young quarterback to inexperienced offensive tackles. They
brought the house, and they brought. They always no matter
what we did, they always brought one more than we
had the block. So that's good, good on their part,
good adjustment. They had athletes out there that were covering
pretty well. I thought quite a few should have been holding.
(09:43):
And you know, as I as I said, you know
is if they're gonna blitz you and play press man
and your defensive backs are allowed to hold, it's gonna
be a long day. And it was a long day
offensively for us.
Speaker 8 (09:59):
It was a point second quarter, down by one touchdown.
Speaker 4 (10:02):
And I say this knowing that field goals in high
school are not as easy as what everybody sees Sunday
with the NFL. There's a lot involved, a lot of
things can go wrong. When you were down by that
one touchdown on a second hand, did you think about
a field goal or were you thinking one, it's a
learning experience.
Speaker 8 (10:17):
We need to pick up the first.
Speaker 4 (10:18):
Down, and two we might not have that many opportunities
to score anyway.
Speaker 9 (10:23):
So I believe or not we'll fall fall down. I
actually wanted to go for a field goal. My offensive
staff talked me out of it. Oh, I hate them,
you know, you know, and it was kind of what
you said, you know, get that experience. And also we
also didn't know how many chances we'd have the ball back,
(10:44):
especially in that territory. And really we had the right
play call on to get the first down and we
just didn't execute it. But you know it is we
have great faith in it, Aiden Gorilla, but at that
point we felt the young offense needed some confidence.
Speaker 10 (11:10):
So that's pretty much answer to that.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
The new Cutter quarter rack Sebastian Williams thirteen for twenty
six And I know you probably did not want to
throw the ball twenty six times Saturday, but let's talk
a little about Sebastian.
Speaker 8 (11:23):
And how he did.
Speaker 9 (11:24):
No, we wanted to come out run the football and
then get him in where we could play act and
pass and get those linebackers up.
Speaker 10 (11:32):
Didn't do it.
Speaker 9 (11:34):
Like I said after the game, is a tough defense
to go your first you know start, you know, you know,
just says the South College was a tough start for Stone.
So Stone bounced back. Hopefully Sebastian's going to bounce back. Also,
he did some good things. Fully, threw the ball pretty
(11:55):
well on the run. He did some things. He missed
some reads, missed some checks, you know, miss and throws
and you know we've got to clean all that up
when we do. And you know it wasn't just him.
You know, the offensive line made mistakes. You know, the
whole offense made mistakes. When he did throw the ball
(12:17):
four on a third down that would have picked up
the first time we dropped the football. So you know,
it was you know, as I told the team afterwards,
we went as a team and lose as a team,
and it was certainly a team effort. So you know,
hopefully we're going to get better to that.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
And we'll have more from Marty and bish mcdeviit head
coach Jeff weckt to right after this. You're listening to

Tradition never graduates. You're listening to Bishop mc debitt football
on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Now we're doing the mcdebit pre end Show. Marty Bowman
is talking with Bishop mcdebit head coach Jeff Weckter as
a as.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
A coach late in the game, when you are worn
down and they're just driving the ball, drive ball.
Speaker 8 (14:13):
He's just like I wish this clock would just run out.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
You feel bad for your kids because they're getting beat physically.
Speaker 9 (14:19):
No, I mean the competitor is we're gonna keep on
fight until the end. I mean, if we took that attitude,
you know, that would have been a blowout up at
State College and so where we actually should have won
the game.
Speaker 10 (14:29):
Uh, we're gonna keep on rolling.
Speaker 9 (14:32):
And you know we you know, even if we didn't
come back and win, it's always the opportunity to learn
and to just kind.
Speaker 10 (14:39):
Of say, I let the clock run down.
Speaker 9 (14:41):
Not that last series yet, you know, but but other
than that, now we're you know, uh, at that point
that last series, there was no point in to try
to throw the ball just because we're down by twenty points.
Speaker 10 (14:54):
You know, he has some good things. The worst part,
I mean the interception.
Speaker 9 (14:58):
Should have pass interference, you know, and then he throws
a real pick and now you know that's in his
that's the last thing in his head.
Speaker 10 (15:06):
So uh, you know, that's just kind of way we went.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
So this week practice wise, what were some of the
things that you want to emphasize.
Speaker 10 (15:14):
We went back to some basics.
Speaker 9 (15:18):
You know, we we were misaligned sometimes on defense and
some of that, we weren't ready. We got to we
have a new defense pretty much a new defensive staff.
You know, they went, they went, no huddle on us.
We're getting some calls. We get lined up faster. But
you know, the biggest thing was disappoint is in our tackling.
(15:40):
I mean, if we tackle better, I think we hold
them to fourteen points and they don't have as much yardage.
And so we went back to basics. We worked on
our tackling, We worked on our offensive line really coming
off the line of scrimmage and creating a new on
of scrimmage the way we did. And you know, we
(16:03):
had we did not have a good practice practice. We
had no energy for whatever reason. I think that's just
you know, guys starting to learn how to be leaders
on the team.
Speaker 10 (16:16):
But we had we had good energy and good practices
this week.
Speaker 8 (16:19):
Positive. I took a late is O Jones.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Davis Swoops as we call him, really broke a ton
of tackles, but there were just so many other shirts
there when would break, and he just couldn't get that
step to get.
Speaker 8 (16:32):
Out in the open.
Speaker 9 (16:33):
Yeah, I mean it, he's hard to bring down and
he just needs a little sliver and a lot of time. Again,
it's just they're bringing one more than we could and
they're getting penetration. You know, when you blitz, you just
put your ears back, and they were getting penetration. He's
getting in the backfield.
Speaker 6 (16:50):
You know.
Speaker 10 (16:50):
I told him after the game.
Speaker 9 (16:51):
I told him about the two thousand and four state
semifinals against Pittsburgh Central Catholic. I said, Shady McCoy had
like thirty eight yards on twenty three carries and he
made some great runs that game just to get out
of the backfield. And Swoops made some great runs just
to get out of the backfield. So again, you know,
(17:12):
we're excited again about Swoops. We're excited about our other
running backs. You know, we just have to do better
and not let people do that to us.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Just back to Williams QB for a minute. I know
we talked over the years.
Speaker 8 (17:25):
You don't want your quarterbacks to see the rush.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
They got to look down the field, they got to read,
they got to find a receiver.
Speaker 8 (17:31):
When you review it the tape with.
Speaker 4 (17:33):
Him, are there times where you look at and say, okay,
you needed to.
Speaker 8 (17:37):
Run there because there was nothing and it collapsed and
that was okay, And.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
Now this time, you know, look up if you hold
it for half a second and don't take all he
got something.
Speaker 9 (17:47):
There was more, he got out when he needed to,
except for one or two times where he really the
ball should actually been thrown a little bit sooner, or
the one maybe just taking a slid step up in
the pocket instead of taking four steps up in the pocket. Again,
that's this experience.
Speaker 4 (18:03):
Okay, so let's switch to game time, Harrisburg, that right
will be and all that, all the talk, it's just ridiculous.
Speaker 8 (18:12):
You know, you hear about it.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
I'm sure you don't read it, but it's all that
talk social media and everything.
Speaker 8 (18:17):
But the point is it's a football game. So what
do you need to do.
Speaker 10 (18:21):
Yeah, we don't listen to any of that.
Speaker 9 (18:23):
At least, I don't care less what anybody says.
Speaker 10 (18:29):
We need to improve.
Speaker 9 (18:30):
We need to tackle better, we need to play better defense,
we need to play a lot better offensively, and you know,
and hopefully we will.
Speaker 10 (18:41):
That will be the key, you know.
Speaker 9 (18:44):
You know, I told the team last year they got
blown out by let's South College, came back and beat us,
and we have to we have to respond like they
did last year. They got better in between. We want
to two and that's what we have to do. So
you know, that's what I'm looking for.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
What particular about harrisperm would be the most concern.
Speaker 9 (19:05):
I know that Listen, they have great talent, they do
some good things. They're doing a little bit more on offense. Uh,
you know Coke is is you know, every time they
throw a ball up, he comes down with it. You know,
there's no really fifty to fifty balls with us, about
eighty percent that he's coming down with the ball. Mancn's
(19:26):
I think, got a little faster, a little more explosive
running the ball. I mean he looked good last week
against MYTEP Charter. And then you know, defensively, you know,
Mancins is a real concern coming off the edge. I
mean he he is so fast, I mean he was
(19:48):
he was beaten an offensive tackle by MTAP Charter that
committed to Maryland like a drum. So you know, we've
got to you know, we've got to come play football
and uh just and and I think we will.
Speaker 10 (19:59):
I'll be disappointed that we don't.
Speaker 8 (20:01):
Okay, coach appreciate it.
Speaker 10 (20:03):
Hopefully.
Speaker 8 (20:03):
Actually we'll be talking about a w all right, sounds good.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
And We'll have more of the bish mcdevid pregame show
coming up right after this. You're listening to bish mcdevid
football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and I Hear Radio.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
Now back to the field.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Marty Bowman alongside the voice of Bisho MCDEBBA football, Art Selby,
High at top, No, we are not high at top.
Art will explain all that to you.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
I'm high the top of the board here.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
High top of the board here at the studios. Uh.
Just a real quick shout out to my son Matt,
his family out in Portland, Oregon checking into today. Nice
to have someone from the other other coast listen to us.
Speaker 10 (21:41):
Art.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
So it's time for a Green Spring Advisors winning game plan.
I think for Bishop mcdeviit here. You want to get
off to a good start today. Obviously last week they
played from behind, they were down seven nothing, they were
down fourteen to seven. It's important to get off to
a good start, get some confidence going for Sebastian William
against this Harrisburg team. Maybe make some big plays on
(22:03):
special teams in this game. McDevitt really never had a
chance last week. As Shaheen the kicker for the Canadian team.
Last week, everything was a touchback through the end zone.
I would say that would be And you also want
to keep the Harrisburg Stars from making big plays. I mean,
try and slow them. They're going to get They're going
to get theirs. They're too good not to. But you
just need to slow them down. You can't let them
(22:24):
just totally take over and dominate the game.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
Tons of talent on this field. People are going to
see a lot of D one ball players here today.
Here are a lot of D one ball players here today.
Are all points good. What I'm looking for is McDevitt
needs to do what they did last year. They need
to make this a long game. They can't go down
two or three scores against this team because the momentum.
We saw that happen a few years ago out at
(22:47):
Harris and so I called Harris, I apologized. I went
to Harris, but at Severn's field. But yeah, they need
to make this a long game so that they have
an opportunity, as they did last year, to win the
fifty two yard field goal by inches. Make it a long.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
Game, and personally for me, I think I don't. I
don't think we'll see thirty five to thirty three today,
but we will see some points. Obviously, too much talent
on the field. I think we might see more of
like a literally a rock fight than this game is
gonna I think there'll be a lot of tough defensive
plays and I think, you know, mcdeviit's defense is definitely
going to be fired up last week. They're going to
(23:23):
make some plays today and I think we'll see an
improved effort on all sides of the ball for Bisha
mcdebit today from just just to feel, you know, talking
to coach Wector, I think mcdebit's very determined to come
out and play good ball game in this hostile atmosphere
at Severance Field, and I definitely think that's what I'm
looking for today.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Yeah, it has to be improvement from last week. If not,
as they say, it's going to get laid early for
the Crusaders.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
All right, Well, we'll take another break in our pregame
show here and when we return, well, I have a
look at the scoreboard from last night and we'll go
down through our starting lineups here today depending on how
much time we have left here. So you're listening to
the Bish mcdebit pregame show here in Fox Sports fourteen
sixteen iver Radio.

All right, Welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios.
Art Selby Marty Bowman back here, getting ready for Bishop
mcdebitt Harrisberg. Let's run down through the starting lineups for
you here this afternoon. First off for the Crusaders of
Bishop mcdebitt, Sebastian Williams. We'll play a quarterback full back
Jack Dawson, running back Nazia Jones Davis or Swoops as
(25:40):
they call him. The three wide receivers for Bish mcdbitt,
John Tae Quick, Gage Ruth and the Howard Holton junior
tight end Liam Fuller. And the offensive line for Bishop mcdebitt,
Aden Mitchititch Landon, Colbert, Jude Slover, Jakai Logan, and Andre Mayna.
Defensively for Bishop mcdebitt, the defensive tackles to Ron Dennis,
Chris Thompson, Jakai Logan, defensive end Jack Dawson. Linebackers Maurice Barnes,
(26:05):
r J. Duffy RJ. Had a fantastic game last week
for Bishop mcdebit and Zach Brown quarterbacks Jamison Crummell and
Austin Mack. And your safety is Tyler Reinhardt and a
Kaleen Smith. And then looking at the Cougars offense, they'll
be led by quarterback mcal Shank He's a transfer from
Trinity a year ago. You also see some of Jayon
(26:28):
Lewis in the game. As I mentioned earlier, he played
against Bishop mcdebit last year, had a big game fourteen completions,
two hundred and thirty six yards and a touchdown in
that game. Running backs, they'll go with Messiah Mickens six
foot senior going to Penn State. Of course, he was
a transfer from Trinity as well. Running back Princeton Dentz
another transfer from Cedar Cliff. He was all mid ten
(26:50):
last year for the Colts and then wide receiver Elias Coke.
Had a big game against Bishop mcdebit last year. He's
headed to Rutgers, number fifteen Tray's Walker and number three
Juwan Johnson. Their offensive line Kevin Brown, we mentioned his
name earlier, six foot five, two hundred and ninety pounds
senior headed to Penn State. Their other offensive tackle Hussain
(27:12):
al Darfey. The offensive guards Tavon Williamson Darryl Dixon, he
transferred to Eirisburg from cd East. You have the center
Keon Mills and the tight end is Titus Brown. Defensively
for the Cougars, defensive ends Messiah Mickens, Isaac John Lewis,
and the defensive tackles looking at Josiah Johnson and the
(27:33):
Israel Mitchell. Sometimes they'll go with Tavon Williamson, linebackers Rick Brown,
Noah Oohle and Princeton Dent. Their corners are Trey's Walker,
Amir Russell, Jayon Lewis, and their safeties Elias Cooke and
Juwan Johnson. That's how the Cougars stack up for this game. Obviously,
it's a beautiful day out at Severance Field, a turf
(27:54):
field over there, the home of the Cougars is the
teams getting ready to take the field over there, and
we still have some time here in our pregame show,
so we'll run down through some of the scores from
this week. Were some games on Thursday night and Ville
Kleiona beat Hannover ten to seven, Brooks Catholic with a
win forty five twenty over Executive Education Academy, Conrad Weiser
(28:18):

dramatic win against Juniata eighteen fourteen, and then last night
Big Spring All over camp Hill fifty three to fourteen,
cedar Cliff twenty six seven over Central Dolphin. It was
Central York over Manheim Township thirty six twenty eight, Chambersburg
(28:42):
over CD East twenty six twenty one, Cumberland Valley with
a big win over Carlisle forty two to nothing. In
that one. Dallas Town over penn Manor twenty five to seven.
It was a Donegal over Columbia nineteen fourteen East Pennsboro
beatrenditys sixteen to nine. Efforta over Manheim Central seventeen six.
Garden Spot defeated Lebanon thirty eight zip. It was Gettysburg
(29:06):
over Waynesboro forty one thirty four. Halifax the Wildcats if
a nice win over Upper Dolphin for their new head coach.
They won that one thirty nine zip. It was Hamburg
over Midwest twenty two to twenty one. James Buchanan over
Susquineita twenty zip, Kennerdill All over Northeastern forty eight thirty
Qutztown beat York Tech sixty six to twenty six. Lancaster
(29:28):
Catholic over Delone Catholic forty seven to twenty Middletown with
a nice win against Milton Hershey twenty two to seven,
Muhlenburg over Redding forty eight nothing, it was New Oxford
over Cocalico twenty nine to twenty five, Oxford Area with
a victory, and their game against Northern Lebanon sixteen thirteen,
we had a Redland came up with a fourteen six
(29:51):
win there over Lower Dolphin in that game.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
Just great to see Jamie Thomason. Congrats to those young
men from Redland. Really two and oh since Steipelieve the
first time since twenty sixteen.
Speaker 3 (30:02):
It was Shippensburg over Hershey twenty two to nineteen. So
Lanco over Octarera Area forty nine fourteen, Southwest got a
victory over Dover forty five thirteen, Spring Grove over Cedarcrest
twenty seven to thirteen. Susquehanna Township down the street here
with a sixty two to six win against Greencastle. I
can see in the background here as the Cougars have
(30:25):
taken the field on their side and Bishop mcdebit over
on the far side. It was let's see Susquehannac beat
Miama Mater Littlestown ten six bolts off to a tough start.
There're zh to two, Warwick over Lampeter Strasburg fourteen to seven,
West Perry over Boiling Springs twenty eight to nothing. It
was West York over a red line forty two six,
William Penn over Hempfield twenty two to sixteen, York Catholic Edge,
(30:48):
Biglerville fifteen fourteen, and it was York Suburban over Bermudian
Springs twenty one to seven. So that's going to do
it for our pregame show. When we return, we have
football for you here. It's Bish mcdvon hair's coming up
next here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 13 (32:49):
They have done it two out of the last three years,
the Crusaders pour out onto the field. There, the twenty
twenty four PIAA five.

A State champions Cruz Sader Football is brought to you
by Constellation Energy, Tim Decker of Green Spring Advisors and
Select Physical Therapy. Now, let's head out to the field
with your game announcers Art Selby, Rob paglie and Marty Bowman.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
All right, we're actually back in the Fox Sports fourteen
sixty studios today. Art Selby and Marty Bowman are back here.
Rob Paglice is out at the game and Rob will
be keeping us up to date as well. Why are
we not out at Severance Field today? There was a
highly unusual fee requested by the Harrisburg School District for
us to be out there and do the game this week,
(33:40):
and it just it didn't work out. So that was
kind of a last minute thing that came in on
Wednesday to us. So we are back in the studios
today and we will keep you up to date from
the feed of our TV partner, CBS twenty one, who
is doing the game. So again, Art Selby and Marty
Bowman here and Rob out at the game. Guys, I
(34:00):
can see this right now, it's obviously the turf field.
If you're familiar with Severance Field, it's a gorgeous day
out of Severance Field. Looks like Bish McDevitt in the
Waite Jerseys today, Marty. Obviously they have the gold helmets
and Harrisburg dressed in the all black outfits. And no
love lost in this game, obviously, Marty. A lot of
memories for us doing some of these games through the years.
(34:21):
It's always always an adventure.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
I mean interesting here, I'll saw soap, but for both teams,
not the end of the world for either team if
they lose here. This is all about the bragging rights
of the Burg and what used to be Market Street
and all this, and that's what it's about. It's bragging
rates amongst a lot of young kids who you know,
don't like each other for a couple weeks. Maybe they
get along during the rest of the year, but for
(34:43):
a couple of weeks they don't like each other. And
that's really what it's about here. Both teams projected to
go far into the playoffs, Harrisburg and six A and
mcdebitt in five A. But this game means a lot,
an absolute lot.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
I'm told mcdebitt did win the toss and they deferred
to the second half as a team. Captain's coming back
in from the middle of the field, and we're just
about ready to get started here. Yeah, obviously a classic
matchup last year that Harrisburg won thirty five, thirty three
and overtime. And then you have to go all the
way back to twenty seventeen since they played before. Mcdebit
lost that game thirty five nothing, and that was a
(35:20):
it was a rainy day at Severn's field. I remember
Michael Parsons not Chase Deal out of the game and
mcdebit just really struggled offensively at that point, and I
Mike was just a different kind of athlete on the
field that day at that point. And then if you
go back then to twenty sixteen, mcdebitt won twenty eight twelve.
Then they didn't play back till twenty thirteen. Mcdebitt won
(35:40):
that thirty five fourteen. There was a twenty one to
twenty victory by mcdebit in twenty twelve, and then a
forty four to thirteen victory by mcdebit twenty eleven, twenty one, seven,
and twenty ten, and then you go back to districts.
I think this game was over Atlantis where mcdebit won
forty two twenty four. I believe that. And then you
go back to two thousand and nine, mc debit one
(36:00):
forty one sixteen. In two thousand and eight, mcdebit won
forty two six So the Crusaders had an eight game
winning streak there. And we're just about ready for football,
and the kickoff will go sailing through the end zone
and that's so the Cougars will come out and take
over after the touchback.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
Yeah, that's what you you would hope for that Aiden Grella.
I hope mcdeviit gets a lot of kickoffs and that
Aiden Grella doesn't give the Cougars any chance to return
keep that field position at a minimum.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
So we'll see the Cougar's offense first off here today
and there they will come out here to start the
game under mcal shank junior, number six. He's a six foot,
three hundred and eighty pounds junior, and he brings the
Cougar's offense out in the field. Is they they will
go right to left from the press box side of things.
At severance field. As I mentioned, Harrisburg pretty much in
(36:55):
the all black uniforms here today. They'll come out with
one wide out on the near side. Now he'll go
in motion. That's Coke, and they'll hand this ball to
the left side of McDevitt's line. They'll take it up
to about the twenty eight yard line. So a good
run by the Cougars on first down there, Marty.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
It was they went behind Kevin Brown and Kevin Brown
cleared out his defender in fact, took that block all
the way to the end and then they able to
pick up eight or nine. So good, good first down
play for the Cougars.
Speaker 3 (37:26):
So Harrisburg with about a second down and two from
the twenty eight yard line. As we mentioned, we're back
in the Fox Sports studios today and we're actually broadcasting
the game for you from a monitor. We actually have
two monitors up here in the studio and we'll do
our best to keep you inform on what's happening here.
Harrisburg came over and talked to their sideline a little
bit after that one, and it is a second down
(37:48):
and two for the Cougars. Looks like Mickens is in
the backfield back there with Shank. He's got two men
lined up to his right as well as mickens is
to his left. And now mckens is going to try
the corner. He's got the first down and more and
we'll be pushed out of bounds over at around the
thirty four yard line. And I thought for a second
(38:09):
there might be a flag coming out there on that one,
but there was not.
Speaker 4 (38:12):
I don't know if it was a backer or a
defensive player for mcdebitt came shooting in there and just
didn't have the right angle and mckens was able to
get outside there for the first down. But yeah, I
had a chance to throw for a loss in the backfield,
but did not happen.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
All right, So the Cougars have it first down in
ten at the thirty five yard line as they go
right to left from the home side of things here
at Severance Field, actually not here at we're in the studios.
Here's a handoff up the middle and they get about
four yards on that one. It'll be second down and
six for the Cougars.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Cougar's using Kevin Brown as an h back there as
a lead blocker on that last play. If I have
those numbers correct.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
Mickens checks out of the game for them. Now, I
think that is a Princeton Dent in there running back
now for the Cougars in the backfield.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
Yeah, that's what they're using. Kevin Brown there as an
h back lead blocker.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
Now he'll go in motion. Actually that's Coke going in motion,
and they will hand this one off to the far side.
And this Tom McDevitt's defense gets in there and causes
some havoc. So we're gonna have a third down situation
for the Cougars. Looks like it's gonna be about third
and three Marty balls at about the forty two yard line.
(39:30):
So they approach the big H in the center of
the field here with the Cougar on it here at
Severn or at Severns Field, not here.
Speaker 4 (39:38):
I can't imagine that they might not take it. That
they could take a shot down the field here and
figure they'll pick this up on fourth down.
Speaker 3 (39:45):
Back to pass. Here's a pass to the outside, and
this one is complete up to the forty eight yard
line for the Cougars, and that should be enough for
the first down. Just a quick pass to the outside
out here. And I think that was Coke on the reception,
and it was so the Cougars will move the chains here.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Get just a quick flat pass to Cooch, as you said,
and good coaching there by the offense of the Cougars.
They had a third and three, which is a short
and you know, let's take a shot at a pass.
Maybe we break one early, but we'll come back in
confidence to pick it up on fourth down.
Speaker 3 (40:20):
Cougar's come on. Three white outs to the far side,
one man in the backfield with quarterback Shank, and now
Shank will fire one quickly to the outside and this
pass is complete down the field. It goes inside the
forty yard line of Bush mcdebitt down to about the
thirty seven yard line. And that looks like that was
Sinkler on the reception. Number four for the Cougars.
Speaker 4 (40:45):
Mcdebitt. Three plays already, art they've overrun tackles unfortunately, and
they've you know, it's allowed the Cougars to get some
big gains. Cougar's inside the mcdebit forty.
Speaker 3 (40:56):
Cougars have three white outs now to the left, one
white out to the foreside. Now officials coming in here.
I think we're going to have a stoppage of playing
a time out, so let's take one as well. Nine
to ten left to play here in the first quarter.
No score in the game opening possession. You're listening to
Vision mcdebit football. You're on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
The electricity on a football field.
Speaker 1 (41:53):
This is Fisham mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 3 (42:00):
All right, welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty
studios art selby Marty Bowman, and we are monitoring the
mcdebitt Harrisburg game for you out at Severance Field. Here,
there's no score in the game. Nine to ten left
to play, first quarter, Harrisburg with its opening possession. They've
moved the ball down to the Bishop mcdebit thirty nine
yard line, and we had just had a stoppage of
(42:21):
play there. Now as the Cougar has come back on
the field, Shank hit quarterback in there for the Cougars
in the shotgun formation. He's got two wide receivers to
the near side, one of the far one back in
the backfield that's micking two lines up to his right,
and Shank is gonna fire one down the sideline here
and this one is complete inside the mcdebit yard line
or ten yard line, down to the seven yard line.
(42:43):
Just a well thrown ball and the receiver with a
nice catch.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
Is that the uh it looks like is that Dillard
that got that?
Speaker 15 (42:52):
Art?
Speaker 3 (42:52):
Think that was Lewis that caught it?
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Okay, they he made a great adjustment on that ball.
Good coverage mcdebitt. You know, guess the past they were
bringing the blitz. But a great adjustment down there at
Harrisburg in business inside the mcdebit ten yard like, just
an outstanding adjustment to the football.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
That was Smith on coverage down there for Bishop mcdebitt.
So they have a first down and goal at the
mcdebit eight yard line. Now is again they go right
to left from the home side of things at Severn's field,
and here's a handoff the Mickens up the middle, and
this time mcdebitt's defense is ready for it, Marty, and
they shut it down. Not much there at all for Mickens.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
They really, yeah, they allowed absolutely nothing on that one,
so it'll be second down and Art, I mean, I'm
just gonna guess that. I got to see Harrisburg going
wide here once again. They had Kevin Brown in the
backfield as an h back, which is really then giving
them an extra offensive lineman, and you know they followed
(43:52):
him through there, but that time mcdebit shut it down.
But I look for him to go wide here.
Speaker 3 (43:56):
With the speed Mickens in the backfield back there, and
they will come to the near side and run this
one in for a touchdown and the Cougars go up
six to nothing with seven fifty four left to play
here in the first quarter.
Speaker 4 (44:11):
That was really just ice creaming cake there. It was
just not it was just bottled up inside. But it
was just probably more design to go wide, and he
just walked into the end zone.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
That was Mickens, Messiah Mickens on the carrier for the
Cougars and they're up six nothing, and that was just
that was too easy. Yeah, if you're Bishop mcdeviit exactly
what you did not want to see here is the
Cougars to go down the field and score the Harrisburg
looks like they're going to go for two here and
I'll fire one in the back of the end zone
(44:41):
and they get that too. As trying to see who
the reception was on that one. But Harrisburg goes up
eight to nothing here now with seven fifty four left
to play in the first quarter, So we'll take another break.
You're listening to Bisho mcdebit football here in Fox Sports
fourteen sixty and I Heeart Radio.

Speaker 2 (45:29):
The game everyone circles on the schedule.
Speaker 1 (45:32):
This is Bishop mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen to sixty.
Speaker 3 (45:38):
Crusaders trailing eight nothing over at Severance Field to the
Harrisburg Cougars. Is Mickens takes one in for a touchdown
and then Titus Brown with the two point conversion reception
there from a quarterback shank, and it's eight to nothing
Cougars with seven point fifty four left to play here
in the first quarter, Marty.
Speaker 4 (45:57):
Art on the two point conversion. Mcdebbit just was expecting,
I guess Harrisburg to line up for a kick. They
lined up in a really sort of a different formation
that I really didn't get a chance to see, but
mcdebitt could not adjust to it. Wide opening the back
of the end zone for the two point conversion was
tightus Brown. So not, as you said, not what you
wanted to see. And you kind of compare this if
(46:20):
there's Philly fans listening out there, you're starting pitchy. Can't
afford to give up early runs because you never know
how much your offense is going to you know, have
the opportunity to score. So mcdebitt is going to have
to answer early here.
Speaker 3 (46:33):
So here's the kickoff and mcdebitt will return this one.
Trying to see if that's Ish Palmer on the kick return.
I believe it is, and he's fighting up over the
thirty five yard line. Lots of pushing and shoving there
after the initial contact, and they're going to spot him
down at the thirty six yard line, trying to see
(46:53):
who that was on the monitor there for you guys,
just to verify for sure. I think it was was Ish. Yeah,
number eight, I'm pretty sure is what that looked like.
So mcdebit down eight. Nothing marty and very important to
respond here. Now after that cougar drive, we'll see what
the Crusaders offense can come up with here, led by
Sebastian Williams. Two white outs to the near side for
(47:16):
Bisho mcdebit. One of the far Crusaders and their all
white jerseys and pants with some of my gold numbers
and their gold helmets. Here's a handoff up the middle
for Bishop mcdebit and pushing the pow forward I believe
that was Swoops takes it up to the forty seven
yard line, got about eleven. It'll be first down Bishop mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
Not much of a hole there. He slidtered through that
initial hole and then swoops being swoops just did not
go down and he drags a couple of cougars along
with him past the first down marker.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
So Crusaders with a first down and ten at the
forty seven yard line. Two white outs to the far
side and one of the near rob Acglice letting us
know the Zach Brown was injured earlier in this game
and he is out of the game right now. Here's
another run by Bishop mcdebit. The spot swoops down at
about the forty three yard line, but another impressive run
(48:12):
in the offensive line did a nice job to open
up a little hole air for him, but a powerful
run and close to a first down for mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (48:18):
Once again off the left side for swoops and positive
yard art. Already a couple of gains and runs that
we did not see last week from Bishop mcdebit early on,
actually anytime throughout the game last week.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
So they did actually mark him forward for the first down.
Crusaders now with two backs in the backfield, so rounding
Sebastian Williams two white outs to the near side, one
of the far here's another handoff for Bishop mcdebbit. Another
nice hole as the Crusaders will take this one down
to the thirty six yard line.
Speaker 4 (48:48):
And Art. Actually they did not give him the first
down on that last one. They just spotted it now
as a first down. I was with you, I thought
they had advanced. It appeared originally that he got the
first down, but they marking behind. But that was just
the second down there, and he got the sticks.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
That was Maurice Barnes on the carry that time for
Bishop mcdebit down to the thirty seven yard line. I
was going by the little scoreboard they had here in
the corner and did say first down. So all right,
So mcdebit with two backs in the backfield surrounding Sebastian
and here's another handoff for Bishop mcdebitt and another nice
carry up the middle inside the twenty five down to
the twenty four first down.
Speaker 4 (49:26):
Bishop mcdebitt looked like Maurice Barnes to me, I'm like you, Ard,
I'm trying to see the numbers on the monitors.
Speaker 3 (49:33):
Yeah, you just pretty much see like a white Jersey
at this point, and yeah, that was actually swoops. Swoops yep.
So mcdebitt with a first down and ten at the
twenty five yard line. Good response so far for the Crusaders,
drilling eight nothing here, five point fifty five left to
play first quarter in the clock ticking.
Speaker 4 (49:52):
Nice cutback there at the line of scrimmage for swoops.
They get the yard each.
Speaker 3 (49:56):
Same deal. Two backs in the backfield surrounding Sebastian and
mcdeva to run the ball up the middle of this
time inside the twenty down to the eighteen yard line.
So the Crusaders pick up about seven on that one
and trying to see another. That was swoops again on
the run that time for Bishop mcdebit. I like what
(50:17):
the Crusaders are doing here with having both of the
backs in the game at the same time surrounding Sebastian.
Gives him some extra protection. And then you're choosing, I mean,
two very powerful running backs to move the ball down
the field against this Harrisburg defense. It's second and fourth
from the nineteen five to ten left to play first quarter.
Sebastian shotgun formation. He's got one back in the backfield,
(50:39):
two white outs, to the far side, one of the
near and here's another handoff for Bishop mcdebitt inside to fifteen,
down to about the fourteen yard line. That should be
another first down.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
That time with a single back, and they brought the
h back in motion and got a hole there and
mcdibit was a first down inside to fifteen.
Speaker 3 (50:57):
That was Maurice Barnes that Tom already.
Speaker 4 (50:59):
Art it ain't brought. Don't fix it right now.
Speaker 3 (51:01):
Nope, just keep powering the ball at them. They've shown
no ability to stop it. So Maurice checks out of
the game. Now for mcdebitt, Crusaders go with two white
outs to the far side and one of the near
like a power well actually Sebastian shotgunformation. He's got one
back in the backfield. I believe he's got Jack Dawson
in there. Mcdeviitt will try the left side this time
(51:21):
and going to the outside this Tom Harrisburg plays it
a little bit better, but the Crusaders do get about
two yards on that one. I believe that was Swoops
on the run that time for Vision mcdebitt. So we
checked the monitor here, Yeah, Swoops just couldn't break that
to get outside and four ten left to play here
(51:43):
in the second or first first quarter, mcdeviit's down eight
to nothing the Harrisburg as. The Cougars went down and
scored on a Mickens touchdown run and a two point
conversion to their tight end Tightus Brown. So mcdebitt with
a actually give them no yards on that one. I
think he got at least one. But second and ten
for the Crusaders. Here's another run up the middle, and
(52:06):
Crusaders get a couple on that one, but they're gonna
have a third down and long situation. Marty.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
Yeah, And in that case, maybe you want those two
running backs in there to, you know, make Harrisburg think
a little bit more on defense, because they were able
to square up and of course, the the territory gets
smaller down, you know, the closer you get to the
goal line. So Harrisburg able to make a big play
and force a third down.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
That was swoops on the run that time again for mcdebitt.
So here come the Crusaders. They'll call it third and
nine from the thirteen yard line, three fourteen left to play.
First quarter. Crusaders down aid zip Sebastian schockun formation and
Sebastian's kind of keeping himself runs forward inside the five
and Sebastian gets down to the one yard line and
a nice run there and a nice design by Bishop
(52:51):
mcdebitt on that one.
Speaker 4 (52:52):
Absolutely design run by the quarterback. I mean, we know
from his JV days at Sebastian can run the football,
and that it was just all quarterback draw option on.
I doubt if he really has an option on that.
Don't know where he's at, you know, as far as
the playbook yet. I mean, I know he's an intelligent
man and studies, but I think that was just here's
(53:14):
your option, you're running the football, and he relishes that anyway.
So there you go, first and goal for the Crusaders.
Speaker 3 (53:20):
They had Maurice Barnes in there as as a running back.
Here come the Crusaders, Sebastian under center this time. It's
like Maurice Barnes is lined up behind Sebastian. I think
swoops in there as well, and they will hand this
one off to Maurice Barnes and he's into the end
zone for our Bishop mcdebit touchdown and the Crusaders with
two twenty four left to play here in the first quarter,
(53:40):
trail eight to six.
Speaker 4 (53:41):
Now that is a great answer for several reasons. Art
the score obviously to get back at a chance to
get within a pointer, get even. However, they mcdebit chooses
to handle this, and then the confidence that it builds
for that offensive line, the confidence that it builds Fort
Williams and those running backs.
Speaker 3 (54:03):
Crusaders down now eight to six, and it does appear
they're going to kick this one with Grella coach wect
Or not messing around Harrisburg with a real late substitution
onto the field. The extra point is up and it's good.
So two twenty four left a player in the first quarter.
What an answer by Bishop mcdebitt. They're on the board,
the trail Harrisburg here eight seven in this battle at
(54:26):

Speaker 4 (55:18):
Finage Builder for the young quarterby sorry, confidence builder for
the young quarterback. A well designed, well executed drive by
Bishop mcdebatt and by the junior quarterback.
Speaker 3 (55:32):
And what a call on third and eight down there
in the red zone for Sebastian to run that one.
And here's the kickoff to Harrisburg and I believe that
was number fifteen trays walker and he's able to is
able to get by a couple the mcdebitt defenders and
gets it back up to somewhere around the thirty yard line.
It looks like they'll spottom and yeah, he went down
(55:53):
right about the thirty yard line. A lot of activity
taking place over in the sideline. We'll stay there.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
Had a they had an opportunity to get him into twenty.
Art was kind of surprised when the kickoff did not
go on the end zone.
Speaker 3 (56:05):
Now there is a flag down as something's going on here.
Do you see a flag on the screen. We'll see
what the officials are calling here.
Speaker 4 (56:13):
It's at the point attack with the thirty yard line.
They're talking to Harrisburg. So I'm gonna think it's against mcdebitt. Nope,
it's against the Cougar.
Speaker 3 (56:25):
Yeah, it looks like it's against it's Oh, they're both
teams yet, and that is not a surprise. Just trying
to clean things up here, I guess, yeah, and they.
Speaker 4 (56:32):
Need to do that early. As you're pointing out there,
Art to you know, keep this a football game and
not a bad rivalry, if you will.
Speaker 3 (56:41):
William, you talked about seeing some points today, Marty, and
so far we are each team with one possession and
each team with a touchdown. Harrisburg went for two on
the two point conversion to Shank to Brown and mcdebitt
electing to just have Grella booted through the uprights. The
Crusader's down eight seven to nineteen left to play here.
First quarter again, Harrisburg for the ball, and they're all
(57:03):
black uniforms with some white trim on the pants. Mcdebitt
with the white jerseys, white pants with some blue and
gold trim on the pants, and their gold helmets. Here's
a handoff to Mickens. This time he takes it up
the middle, still on his feet, spinds his way all
the way up to the forty five yard line is
where they'll spot it. And a great run there by
Messiah Mickens.
Speaker 4 (57:22):
Mickens behind right guard there in a big hole, and
mcken's able to hit it in a hurry. Cougar's you're
going to go in tempo here.
Speaker 3 (57:30):
So they'll have a first down and ten at the
forty five yard line again, going right to left from
the home side of things at Severance Field, right on
the edge of the Harrisburg Cougar logo at the forty
five yard line. Shank again. Here's another handoff, and this
time Mickens again cuts outside. Mickens forty thirty five thirty
twenty five and he'll go out of bounds himself. At
(57:52):
the mcdevit twenty two yard line, and he really puts
some moves on the Crusaders d that time.
Speaker 4 (57:58):
Mickens with an outstanding run here, har that play was
going all the way to the left. He got all
the way about the outside tackle spot, reversed it when
it wasn't there, cut across the line of scrimmage, gained
a tonny yards downside to twenty five for the Cougars
to the right. All right, I wanted to point out.
I like the fact that coach Wector only went for
the point. There's no need to have to match points
(58:20):
in the first quarter and then fall to behind, you know,
kind of joke the confidence of your team.
Speaker 3 (58:26):
Absolutely, it's a smart call. First and ten for the
Cougars from the twenty two and this time mcdevit gets
in there with some resistance. Harrisburg still able to pick
up about two yards on the carry there, trying to
get a number on that one for the Cougars for you,
But they do get about two yards out of it.
(58:46):
I think that was that was actually Dent on the
carry for the Cougars that time. Now Harrisburg looks over
here to the Cougar side of the field, and that's
Michel Shank, the junior quarterback. It's like he's got dent
in the backfield. One wide receiver to each side of
(59:07):
the field. Lewis is the white out on the near
side for the Cougars, probably coke over on the fore side.
I'm thinking, here's another handoff, and again mcdebit's defense loose
business down quickly in the interior there, so the Cougars
are going to have a third down and long situation.
Speaker 4 (59:23):
Marty, Yeah, a good job by the cold helmeted crusaders there.
I can't see who that is. It came up and
plugged the whole actually blocked to Cougar into the running back.
So third down secondary needing to come up with a play.
They need to keep Harrisburg inside, not let something bounce
to the outside where they can walk it into the
(59:44):
end zone as they did earlier.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
Look like from seeing the secondary, I think R. J.
Duffy was in there on some of that. Patrick Wright
in the area as well, So obviously a huge play
from mcdebit. Third and eight, here's a pass to the outside.
This one's complete and it's gonna be short of the
first down. A good tackle on the outside here by
number twenty one, Patrick Great stops the Cougars from getting
the first down.
Speaker 4 (01:00:05):
Yeah, that was a very good short tackle. Needed one
there because if he breaks out, he's going to probably well,
he's going to walk at least to the five yard line.
Speaker 3 (01:00:13):
So now an interesting call for the Cougars. Will they
go for it on fourth down? And that will actually
end the first quarter. So after one quarter of play
at Severance Field at Terrisburg eight mcdevid seven, you're listening
to the Bishop mcdebitt football here in Fox Sports fourteen
sixteen I hear Radio.

Harris Berg's e elite high school football program. This is
Bishop mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
All right, welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios.
Art Selby and Marty Bowman back here today covering Bishop
McDevitt and Harrisburg for you. Crusaders trow eight seven after
one quarter of play, as each team scored on its
opening possession, Cougars went down on the Mickens touchdown for two.
The Crusaders would score a touchdown on Maurice Barnes two
(01:02:04):
yard run, and the Crusaders just electing for Grella to
kick the extra point. Looks like Harrisburg's going to go
for it on fourth and two. As we switch the
ends of the field, balls at the mcdevid fourteen yard line,
one back in the backfield, shank in the shotgun formation,
and they will hand this one off and up the middle.
It's a big run for the Cougars and they will
(01:02:24):
take this one into the end zone for a touchdown
and huge play there on fourth down and two for
the Cougars to convert that.
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
Marty just off behind the right guard and that was
just really easy pickings there for the Cougars.
Speaker 3 (01:02:39):
I think that was Dent Princeton. Dent with the touchdown
run for the Cougars, and just like that, they're up
fourteen to seven here with eleven fifty four left to
play in the first half.
Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
And they'll line up in this two point conversion formation.
Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
Yeah, it looks like they're gonna go for two up here.
Fourteen to seven, one back in the backfield. Now official
stop play here.
Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
I think mcdevid's probably. I would have thought they might
have taken a time out to see how they're gonna
offset this unusual formation. Think the Cougars are putting six
players out wide to the left and then in the
middle of the field the remaining.
Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
Five so clock has stopped eleven fifty four left to
play here in the first half. Is still some confusion
going on there at Severns Field. Mcdebit down here fourteen
(01:03:50):
to seven. Eleven fifty four are left to play first half?
Is the Cougar's just scored on the Dent run on
four f down, So they'll come back here and line up.
They're now going left to right from the press box
side of things. At Severance Field, they have one white
(01:04:11):
out to the fore side. Here's a pass to the
corner of the end zone and this one is caught.
What a great pass and reception there. I think let's
see who caught that. That was number eight. I think
that was Dillard. Dillard catches it. So eleven fifty four
left to play here in the first half. It's now
Harrisburg sixteen and mcdavidt seven. Getting a look at the
(01:04:34):
replay and was his foot down in the corner there
before he went out of bed.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
His right foots down Watch the right foot.
Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
We're watching the replay of it the left right and there, Yeah,
I think just the tippy toe, the tippy toe got
down in the corner of the end zone.
Speaker 4 (01:04:53):
Great reception, yeah, and great reception in the corner of
the end zone.
Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
But what a well thrown ball. So the Cougars go
up sixteen seven here now at Severnsfield. And two impressive
drives by the Cougar's offense here so far in this game.
And once again mcdebit's offense, we'll have to have to respond.
Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
And we'll see if how content mcdebitt will be to
just come out with the run game, see if they
can continue that success that they did on the first drive.
Speaker 3 (01:05:36):
All right, so here come the Crusaders. So we have
eleven fifty left to play in the first half. Mcdbits
down sixteen to seven, and we had some problems with
our feed there for a second, but I think we
have the game back here now to continue filling you
in eleven fifty left to play first half, mc debit's
down sixteen to seven. Crusaders will run run up the
middle and here's a big run for the Crusaders and
(01:05:59):
all the way down to the forty four yard line.
Ball came out at the very end, but I think
he was down and trying to see who that was.
It looks like it was probably Swoops on the run there.
Actually that was LaRue. I believe that was LaRue for
Bush mcdebitt, Jerome LaRue Junior.
Speaker 16 (01:06:16):
On the run.
Speaker 3 (01:06:16):
He showed some speat on that one.
Speaker 4 (01:06:18):
He did hit the hole quickly and and art when
we had trouble with the feed. We don't know what
happened on the kickoff, whether it was kicked out of
bounds or whatever, but it looks like the Crusaders started
at at the forty yard line.
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
We were back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios today, folks,
and trying to call the game as best as we
can from a monitor for you today. So it's first
in ten mcdebit. They fake the handoff, they dump one
quickly to the outside, and here's a big play for mcdebit.
It's gonna go to the house for a touchdown. But
a flag came flying in somewhere around the thirty and
we'll see what that is.
Speaker 4 (01:06:50):
It was a holding. You just wonder why the mcdebitt,
the receiver out there, would hold when he was on
the ground. That's what I saw, so we'll see it again.
Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
That was to John tay Quick on the touchdown pass.
Just a beautiful pass to the outside. But they do
bring the laundry in to the square stay sixteen seven Harrisburg,
and that'll come back to the forty yard line with
(01:07:27):
the hole being down the field a bit after that pass,
Crusader's break cuddle here now eleven o six left to play.
First half.
Speaker 4 (01:07:36):
No, I think that he was not on the ground art,
but he also had a piece of the face mask
and took the Cougar defender down. Unfortunate because the receiver
already had that block. Beat.
Speaker 3 (01:07:47):
Here's tackle beat another run for Bishop mcdebbitt and the
Crusader's offense moving the ball very effectively. They get down
to the thirty two yard line on that one, and
trying to get a number on that one when I'm
thinking it was probably swoops. But wait and see here,
if we can get you a number on that one,
(01:08:07):
we're looking at pretty much like Waite jerseys. Unfortunately, I
think the mcdebitt ball carrier is cramping up a little
bit on that one.
Speaker 4 (01:08:22):
They work on them here, wit devit ball carriers, I'm sorry,
are doing a great job here, all three of the
back so far of cutting back at the line of
scrimmage and you know, finding that hole and getting some
good yardage.
Speaker 3 (01:08:38):
Bishop mcdebit football brought to you by Constellation Energy, producing clean,
reliable energy and powering new opportunities for families and communities
across central Pennsylvania. We bring the energy so they continue
to work on the mcdeviit ball carry. Here is the
Crusader's offense on the move. Here we'll have a Bisho
mcdebitt player the game coming up in today's post game
(01:09:00):
show and that's sponsored by Game Day Men's Health.
Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
And that that was Swoops Art. Yeah, so he got up,
seems to be doing okay.
Speaker 3 (01:09:08):
It Swoops a very powerful, skilled running back. And this
mcdebit offensive attack has been matching Harrisburg so far the
trail in sixteen to seven. Mcdebit's just their second possession
of the game. So here come the Crusaders. It'll be
second down and one it's the thirty one yard line.
Here's another handoff for Bishop mcdebit and this should be
(01:09:31):
a first down as they spin inside the thirty down
to the twenty nine and I think that was Maurice
Barnes at that time, and it was some Reice gets
down to the twenty nine yard line, they'll move the
chains it'll be first down in ten. Bishop mcdebit ten
twenty left to play, first half at Severnsfield. Crusaders down
sixteen to seven.
Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
All right, good for the Crusaders to just be patient here.
What they're doing is working. No need to get anxious here.
Speaker 3 (01:10:01):
Crusaders down sixteen to seven. Two white outs to the
far side, one of the near Sebastian awaits a snap
Sebashian back to pass, fires went quickly to the outside.
This one is complete inside the twenty and down to
the eighteen yard line. And I think that was Holton
junior for Bishop mcdebit on that one, and it is
a first down. Bisho mcdebit, Yeah, I.
Speaker 4 (01:10:21):
Gotta be careful there. Holton got up and pointed for
the first down. I don't know if they changed that
rule this year or not. Last year. You were not
able to get up as we talked about a lot
last year and point first down. So if that's the case,
he needs to be careful with that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
So it is a first down. Bishop mcdebit, nine thirty
three left to play. Crusaders come up to the line
here balls at the eighteen yard line of Harrisburg. One
white out, to each side of the field for Bishop
mcdebit looks like Dawson is in there as a full back.
I think that's Maurice Barnes in the backfield and they
give it to him. Tries to turn the corner on
(01:10:57):
the right side, gets down to at the fourteen yard line.
So another nice run there for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (01:11:04):
Yeah, pick up a four. That's a good first down
pick up for the Crusaders. Once again, our patience here,
patients by the Crusaders. It's working. They're they're driving the football,
keeping that Harrisburg defense on the field, keeping their own
defense off the field. No need to hurry here, I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:11:23):
Let me give that was actually LaRue on the carry there, Marty.
Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
Did they give him three on that? Yes, we'll call
it a second and seven.
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
I want to give room is due there. Just just
tough to see the numbers for us, so I'm just
being totally honest about it. There's another handoff for Bishop mcdebitt.
This tim Harrisburg gets in there and blows the play
up on that one. Nothing there at all for the Crusaders,
and they're going to be facing a third down in
about seven and trying to get a number on that
(01:11:56):
last run for Bishop mcdebitt. I think that actually been
swoops on that one as he was back in the
game for the Crusaders.
Speaker 4 (01:12:06):
So gold on white on a sunny day. It's kind
of tough on.
Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
A monitor, yeah, on a monitor. Yeah, the monitor is
the hard part for me. It's just a giant reflection
that you just can't see the number. It's just it
just looks white. That's what I'm looking at third and
seven to bashing back to pass fires to the outside,
and this one looks like it's complete and I believe
it's going to be a first down for Bishop mcdebita.
That we're in the far sideline.
Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
Almost to the inside the ten yard line, got to
the marker, did the out the balls on the way
as he turns well, executed great timing by the junior
quarterback Sabastia Williams, and.
Speaker 3 (01:12:43):
That was Holden junior again on the reception for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (01:12:46):
A very definitive good pattern for Holton Junior to just
do that little square out and the ball was there.
He turns around, it's coming.
Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
First and Goald mcdebit at the seven yard line. Crusaders
on the march down sixteen to seven, seven forty nine
left to play first half, one white out to each
side of the field and Sebastian if the play action
fake fires it over the middle, there's got to be
a flag.
Speaker 4 (01:13:09):
There's three of them coming our beat base.
Speaker 3 (01:13:11):
It took them a while.
Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
Now the Rep's gotta breathe. He's got to breathe and
pull that out.
Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
They about pulled. Is his shoulder pad out of his
jersey on that one, so so that will be a
pass interference call in the end zone there. Trying to
see who that was for mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (01:13:31):
Well thrown ball in that little just quick slant. Mcdebit
got what they wanted there and they've got a uh
a first down at the three yard line.
Speaker 3 (01:13:40):
Looks like Russell committed the penalty and just spun the
the receiver around, grabbing him by the shoulder there. So
the Crusaders now with a first and goal at the three,
trailing sixteen seven seven forty five left to play. First half.
Crusaders will come with two white outs to the near
side under the far Swoops is in there now in
(01:14:02):
the backfield to the right of sebastian, and they will
hand this one off to Swoops. Swoops takes it up
the middle and gets close to the goal line. Think
he got just inside the one on that one, guys,
and it'll be second in goal for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
Did not look like a lot there. Swoops really just
pushing the pile and gets down as you said, Art
right about the one. Maybe half a football inf inside
the one. They'll spot at at the one.
Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
Didn't get a great spot on that one. It looked
like to me, I thought he was closer to the
goal line. But mcdebit's still just that close from putting
some points on the board here, second and goal from
the two, seven to ten left to play, first half,
mcdebit down sixteen to seven. Sebastian goes under center. It's
like Maurice Barnes is in there as the full back
and Swoops in there as the running back, and they'll
(01:14:54):
hand this one off the Barnes and he walks into
the end zone again for a Bishop mcdebit touchdown, and
with six fifty five left to play in the first half,
Crusaders are on the board again. Treil in sixteen thirteen.
Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
As you said he lined up at the fullback art
and it was almost a forward handoff from Sebastian to Barnes's.
Barnes only needed a step. He was right there even
with Sebastian. Sebastian put it in his belly and he
walked into the end zone.
Speaker 3 (01:15:20):
So it appears a Bishop mcdebitt will attempt to the
extra point here, Grella will come on down sixteen thirteen
with six p fifty five left to play. First half.
Crusader's down sixteen thirteen. Now Grella on to attempt the
extra point. Believe that's Smith, the holder for Bishop mcdebitt
gets it down. Grella's kick is up and that's good.
(01:15:43):
So Bishop mcdebitt right back in it. It's Harrisburg sixteen.
Bishop mcdebit fourteen six fifty five left to play at
Severance Field in the first half. Will take a break.
You're listening to Bishop mcdebit football here on Fox Sports

Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
Let me see everybody all right, Welcome back to the
Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios here in Harrisburg as we're
covering Bishop mcdevid and Harrisburg.
Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
Here for you.
Speaker 3 (01:16:47):
Crusaders down sixteen fourteen. Been a very exciting game so far.
Each team has had two possessions and each team has
scored a touchdown difference in the game. Harrisburg electing the
Gopher two twice and convert both two point conversions, so
they lead sixteen to fourteen. Here now six fifty five
left to play first half as mcdebitt will kick off
(01:17:11):
as mcdeviitd'll kick off going right to left from the
home side of things at Severance Field. Here Rella lines
up to kickoff here in his white jersey, gold helmets
and white pants, and here's the kickoff. This one will
(01:17:33):
actually come down at the twelve yard line and Harrisburg
will try and return this thing, and mcdebit gets down
there with good coverage, pushes them out of bounds over here,
way laid out of bounds, and I'm not sure if
they pushed him down or just kind of the momentum
of the guys just kind of wrote them down. In
any event, the flag comes flying out.
Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
Harrisburg's very fortunate. Mcdebitt's going to get the penalty because
they continued out of bounds and as you can see,
a couple of their players retaliated and almost had there
been some alertness there maybe on some of the officials,
they could have called fifteen and bounced that out, but
not necessarily the case, and the mcdebit. Two of the
(01:18:15):
mcdebit players definitely did ride him pretty far out of bounds.
Speaker 3 (01:18:19):
Yeah, they did. Definitely a Harrisburg player with a clear
shove a way out of bounds over here, and the
officials don't see it, so they'll bring it up to
the forty yard line. It looks like six forty six
left to play. First half. Mcdebittown sixteen to fourteen. In
this game, the Harrisburg is the Cougars now will go
(01:18:41):
left or right from the home side of things here
or at Severance field. Here come the Cougar's offense. Shank
the quarterback in there. He's got three wide receivers bunched
up over in the far side, and they will run
this one up the middle this time for a very
short gain of about two maybe three, And see if
(01:19:05):
mcdeviit's defense can get off the field here and get
a stop here on these next two plays and try
and get the ball.
Speaker 6 (01:19:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
Absolutely, that's a great point here. Absolutely, do not want
to give up another score before halftime and then maybe,
you know, fall down ten points behind.
Speaker 3 (01:19:23):
That was Dent on the run for the Cougars, and
he's had a really big first half here so far
against mcdebitt. Three white outs to the foreside, they fake
the handoff, here's a pass down the field and nobody
in the area there. So Harrisburg's gonna have a third
down and.
Speaker 4 (01:19:36):
Eighty broken play there, and he just needed to get
rid of it. Yeah. I think he was looking for
a running back to come and take a handoff and
it didn't happen, So he just threw it away.
Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
So third and eight from the forty two yard line
for the Cougars and a big opportunity for Bishop mcdeviitt's
defense to get off the field here. The Crusaders are
going to get the ball to start the second half
as they deferred, so this would be a big opportunity
to possibly get the ball back. Take a lead Harrisburg
with a third and eight from the forty two yard line.
(01:20:11):
Three wide receivers to the far side, one back in
the backfield. They'll bring a man in motion. Now that's Coke.
Shank back to pass, fires one of the outside and
it's complete, but his receiver falls down. There's that a
late flag come flying in there. Play was over and
(01:20:32):
it looked like and that's going to be against mcdebitt.
This one will be a good one. I'm sure waiting
to see what the call is here, and a way
late holding call against Bishop mcdebitt. Just a quick pass
(01:20:52):
to the outside, the receiver just slips and falls down.
And as soon as he slips and falls down, the
flag came in. I'm sure the mcdeviitt faithful out at
severans Field are not pleased with that call. The hole
down the field if there was, and he had no
(01:21:12):
impact on that play whatsoever. It was just a quick
pass to the receiver here in the near side who
slipped and fell down, and that keeps the drive going
for Harrisburg.
Speaker 4 (01:21:21):
Yeah, I don't think it was downfield because the flag
came in towards the middle, so I did not see it.
I was watching the receiver fall down, so I can't
say I saw didn't see. I just know where the
flag ended up, but it was more on the interior
where the scrum would be.
Speaker 3 (01:21:37):
Our man Rob Aglice out at the game was less
than pleased with that call. Harrisburg has it. Here's a
pass to the outside and now another flag comes flying in.
Speaker 4 (01:21:48):
That's a procedure on Harrisburg.
Speaker 3 (01:21:49):
And I'm told coach Weck is furious with that last call.
So that'll be five yards against Harrisburg. It just like
never looks good when it looks like a rough waits
for the result of the play and then throws the
flag after the play's done. So that should be five yards,
(01:22:11):
will be first down and fifteen for the Cougars. Five
to twenty one left to play first half. Here, mcdebit
up sixteen fourteen. Cougars have it. Two white outs to
the near side, one to the far and now Shank
will hand this one off up the middle and mcdebitt
gets in there and slows things down.
Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
Good short tackle there by the Crusaders not to allow
on the extra yardies. You have to contact on that,
so maybe a yard on that, so.
Speaker 3 (01:22:46):
Wells at the forty nine yard line of vision. Mcdebit
second and thirteen, four forty two left to play, first half.
Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
Mcdebit defense needing to stand tall here late in the
second quarter, not allow any more point.
Speaker 3 (01:23:00):
Shank alone in the backfield and he's got three white
outs to the near side, two to the far back
to pass fires one to the outside and overthrows his receiver.
I think that was Coke over here. And it's incomplete.
And now we'll have a third down and thirteen for
the Cougars. We'll see again if McDavid's defense can get
off the field here.
Speaker 4 (01:23:21):
Art looked like single coverage on Coke, which is always dangerous.
We learned that last year.
Speaker 3 (01:23:26):
Yeah, So third and thirteen for the Cougars. Clock stops
four twenty four left to play first half. Harrisburg govern
McDavid sixteen fourteen. Huge play right here, two white outs
to each side of the field. Cougars bring a man
in motion from the far side to the near Shank
back to pass, looking down the field, fires a little
(01:23:48):
pass over the middle, and this is incomplete and hoping
there's no laundry. I didn't see any come flying.
Speaker 4 (01:23:56):
In dangerous passed by shank to throw that back go
over the middle. Oh my goodness, easily could have been picked.
Speaker 3 (01:24:03):
I mean, if if Dan catches that him, he's only
gonna get like two yards.
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
That was very dangerous. I'm sure in the film room
this week that's that will be pointed out.
Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
So that'll make it fourth down with four twenty four
left to play here in the first half, mcdeviitt's down
sixteen fourteen, so it'll be fourth and thirteen.
Speaker 4 (01:24:24):
Now I fully expected them to go for this year.
Did Harrisburg take a time out here or are they officials?
Is that a sideline warning? Maybe I'm not sure trying
to decipher that.
Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
Yeah, I'm not balls at the mcdeviit forty nine. You
got a fourth and thirteen. I mean, I know Harrisburg's
got a lot of firepower, but this is this would
be ridiculous going for it against.
Speaker 4 (01:24:50):
Oh no, I think no. I think you just you're
confident your defense.
Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
Yeah, all right, So they line up, it's a high
snap and Harrisburg does get the punt off. This one
will come down to the twenty three yard line and
mcdebitt will take over at the spot it yeah, right
at the twenty three yard line. So the Crusaders thought
for a second they might get in there and block
(01:25:16):
that thing. But the punter did get it off. I
think that's Arp who is the punter for Harrisburg, and
he was able to get rid of it. But mcdebitt
with if it's opportunity now, so you have a potential
for two possessions here. You got four h seven left
to play in the first half, trailing sixteen to fourteen,
plus you're going to get the opening kickoff to start
the second half. So if mcdebitt's offense can just continue
(01:25:38):
to do what it's been doing, an opportunity here to
take the lead and then even possibly build upon it
in the second half. Well, see if they can do it.
Sebastian will hand this thing off to the right side
and another nice run here for Bishop mcdebitt down the
field up to the thirty six yard line and trying
to see who that was. For Bishop mcdebitt, we're in
(01:26:01):
the far sideline over there again we just see like
a weight glare on the jersey numbers from what where
we're at here in the studio.
Speaker 4 (01:26:09):
What I liked about the run, Art, I think it
was swoops. But yeah, what I liked is that he
did not go out of bounds. He actually cut back
in and got three or four more yards. He could
have been content first down went out of bounds, but
he said, no, I'm gonna take the contact.
Speaker 3 (01:26:23):
That was swoops. You're right, Marty. So two white outs
to the near side for mcdebitt and one to the
far one back in the backfields with Sebastian on first
and ten, and another handoff from mcdebitt, and again the
Crusaders take this one up the middle for about three
and I believe that was Swoops again on the run,
Marty mcdebitt with a second down and seven.
Speaker 4 (01:26:44):
A little bit of a high snap. And that's hopefully
the first and the only time I have to point
this this out. You know, Art, I'm always talking about
the snaps and when they're high, how that breaks the
time into the play That snap was high, and mcdebit's
still able to get two to actually three out of it.
Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Maybe so second and seven from mcdebit. Two white outs
to the near side. Again, they have the two backs
in the backfield surrounding Sebastian and the Crusaders will run
this thing on the near side and a spin move
this time by the running back to get about two
and mcdebitt's gonna face a third down and six and
I believe that swoops again in the carry Marty.
Speaker 4 (01:27:21):
And this is uh, it's a big third down play
because the Cougars have a lot of time if they
force mcdebit to punt.
Speaker 3 (01:27:30):
Yeah, definitely a big opportunity here for Bishop mcdebit to
pick this thing up. Would be interesting to see what
to call. Is maybe a quick out this time or
maybe even another Sebastian run. We'll see three wide outs
to the far side for mcdebitt. One of the near
there's one back in the backfield for the Crusaders. I
believe that's Maurice Barnes. I agree. Sebastian back to pass
(01:27:53):
fires one of the outside, and this one is caught
and fumbled. Mcdebitt did recover it, but they're gonna be
short of the first down. Now, would you think about
going for this, Marty if it's fourth and two here?
Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
Unfortunately he came back and lost two yards. He was
at the mark, or if he was, would realize he
would have just went down to a knee. It was
probably a first down or only inches. So now it's
a big decision for the Crusaders.
Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
I'm trying to see who that was on the on
the TV here, sure if that was Ish or John Tay.
I think that was actually Ish. That was Ish Palmer
and mcdeviit is lining up to go for it Marty
on four and three. See if mcdeviitt's just trying to
get him to jump here.
Speaker 4 (01:28:43):
It appears to be the case.
Speaker 3 (01:28:45):
And now they'll walk back over the sideline. All right,
let's take another time out here. Mcdebit's down sixteen fourteen
with a minute two twenty seven left to play first half.

Speaker 1 (01:29:34):
Thanks for listening to Bishop mcdebit. Football. Now back to
the field, all.
Speaker 3 (01:29:42):
Right, Art Selby and Marty Bowman back here at the
Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios. And it does appear mcdebbit's
going to elect the pump this thing, as I believe
Grell is out in the field here for the Crusaders
on this fourth down and two from the forty three
yard line. Sure this is a tough call. I'm sure
Coach Wector was very ten to go for it. Crusaders
(01:30:05):
looking at that fourth and two, and Gorilla does get
the punt off, had some pressure there, and this one
will come down and take a bit of a mcdebitt
row inside the twenty five and down to about the
twenty three. So that's where Harrisburg will take over. Now,
going left to right from the home side of things
at Severn's field. So Harrisburg and mcdeviitt's defense each get
(01:30:27):
big stops and score remains Harrisburg sixteen, Bishop mcdebit fourteen.
So huge here. Now for the Crusaders defense, knowing they're
going to get the ball to start the third quarter,
you don't want Harrisburg to put points on the board.
Speaker 4 (01:30:41):
Oh yeah, most certainly. Defense got to make a stand here.
Art little things that you never get time to coach
a punt towards the end of a half or quarter.
Do you need the time so you're going to down
it as quick as you can, or if the other
team's getting the ball, you're giving them the ball. Do
you want as much time time to run off so
you don't touch the punt. Let that extra two seconds
(01:31:03):
which might be the difference in a score at the
end of the half.
Speaker 3 (01:31:07):
Shank in their quarterback for the Cougars, two white outs
to the far side, one of the near shank back
to pass, will fire one of the near sideline, and
somehow that ball was complete right between two mcdebit defenders.
I mean, you couldn't cover that much better, and you
couldn't throw it much better, and I think that was
Coke that went up and got it.
Speaker 4 (01:31:26):
Now, that's absolutely what in the pregame that coach Wector
talked about when you throw it up there, it's eighty twenty,
he's going to get that and to come down with
his feet and bounds. That was a great effort by
Coke and a great throw.
Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
First and ten from the thirty four yard line, a
minute ten left to play. First tap mcdebit up sixteen
or mcdebit down sixteen to fourteen. Two white outs to
the near side for Harrisburg. It's like they have two
to the far and one back in the backfield. Clock
has stopped with the out of bounds play and back
to pass as Shank fires one down the field and
(01:32:02):
this one is incomplete. Tried the left side, tried to
hit his receiver around the forty five yard line, but
double coverage over there for mcdebit and incomplete. That was
he was trying to hit Dillard again on the on
the pass. So here come the Cougars now second and
(01:32:27):
ten from there in thirty four are going left right
from the home side of things here at severance field,
three wet outs to the far side. One of the
near second and ten, Shank backed the pass, Shank steps up,
fires one over the middle and this one is complete.
Thought for a second that one might be picked off,
but Terre's walker somehow came down with the catch. Looked
(01:32:50):
like there was a whole way back there around where
the quarterback was and that's left go.
Speaker 4 (01:32:55):
Went right through the defender's hands. That as you you
called that art, that was it a near pick and
a break for the Cougars.
Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Forty eight seconds left to play. Shank with all sorts
of pressure, and he will he will just kind of
unload this thing on the sideline as he was about
ready to be sacked, and they'll just roar it in complete.
Speaker 4 (01:33:16):
He did have Coke there with him. Coke came into
the video there at the at the very end because
it looked like it could have been grounding. But Coke
was only five seven yards down field away from that.
Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
So second and ten from the forty eight, forty two
seconds left to play. First half, mcdebit down sixteen to
fourteen to Harrisburg. Here, really good ball game so far
in the first half. Here three white outs to the
far side for the Cougars. And now they'll bring a
man in motion. Cougar's shank back to pass dumped one
(01:33:52):
of the outside out here, and mcdebitt took a shot
on the receiver who didn't go down, and then they
throw a flag. You're trying to say there was a
blow to the head on that one. That's exactly what
they they threw the flag for. That was Dillard, I believe,
on the reception for the Cougars, and the officials are
(01:34:18):
talking things over on the near sideline here. So we
watched some of the replays here thirty four seconds left
to play, and they were going to call a penalty
on Bishop mcdebit here, so that'll move it all the
(01:34:42):
way down to the mcdebit twenty three yard line with
thirty four seconds left in the first half. Again, tough
call there against Bishop mcdebitt. So the balls at the
twenty three yard line. Coach Wector don't think these officials
(01:35:07):
are going to be on his Christmas card list this year.
And I'll leave it at that. Three wide receivers to
the far side, one of the near shank back to pass,
he's got to run it and he will be tackled
down inside the fifteen yard line. And now I think
Harrisburg will take a time out of a leave with
(01:35:28):
twenty six seconds left in the first half here, so
mcdebit down sixteen fourteen, twenty four seconds left to play
first half. Discover the difference with Select Physical Therapy, where

bish mcdebitt down sixteen to fourteen, twenty four seconds left
to play in the first half. Cougars have a second
and one at the mcdebit fourteen yard line. Obviously a
huge couple of plays here. Mcdevit needs to keep them
out of the end zone here.
Speaker 4 (01:36:51):
This goes back to about extending the game. They this
will extend the game if they can get a big
stop here. But they're struggling.
Speaker 3 (01:37:00):
Three wide outs to the far side, two to the
near and they actually have it looks like Lewis and
their quarterback and he takes it himself up the middle,
gets a first down. They stop the clock on the
on the run for the first down. There definitely some
(01:37:27):
shenanigans taking place out in the field. I'd like to
see some more whistles being thrown on some things. I mean,
so this certain offensive lineman's getting away with some murder.
Speaker 4 (01:37:35):
Well, this was pointing out to me last week. No,
and I'm just gonna say it about not by a
mcdebitt coach or anything like that, but how mc kevin
Brown continues to hit the man he's blocking on the ground,
That is what you were referring to. Their art okay,
and did it quite often against Simlotep, I'm told, and
(01:37:58):
I've watched it here the same noon, and he has
actually done that quite often. I'm not sure. We'll talk
to a line coach this week and find out exactly.
You know, what the extent is is how late or
long you can block someone. If the whistle hasn't blown,
and you're allowed to block a guy on the back
and on his back while he's on the ground, well
(01:38:18):
then it's fine. But if once he's down, if you
have to, you know, so we'll get some ruling on that,
and I'll you know, I'm not the one to complain
about the officials, but I have watched that the entire
first half now with him, and it's maybe four or
five times I've seen that.
Speaker 3 (01:38:36):
Three white outs to the far side for Harrisburg and
two to the near quarterback alone in the shuckun formation
back there and back to pass. Here's a pass over
the middle and this one is incomplete. Now Harrisburg looking
for a flag and don't believe they threw it.
Speaker 4 (01:38:59):
No need another football at football went out of the
end zone.
Speaker 3 (01:39:04):
So that makes it second down and ten. We're down
to fourteen seconds left. To play in this first half.
Mcdebit down sixteen fourteen.
Speaker 4 (01:39:12):
It's plenty of time. It's just a matter of whether
or not the mc debit can keep them out of
the end zone here.
Speaker 3 (01:39:20):
Cougars don't have any timeouts left either, so they can't
throw it in the field to play shank back to
pass kind of fire and fade over there the corner
of the end zone, and this one is caught, I
believe for Harrisburg touchdown. Just a well thrown ball and
another nice catch for the Cougars over there and trying
to see if that was Dillard, trying to see who
(01:39:42):
it was or might have been Lewis actually on the reception.
And that was a heartbreak city for the mcdebit defense
as that happens with just nine seconds left in the half,
and that puts the Cougars up twenty two to fourteen.
I believe, well, hold things here is they haven't put
the points on the scoreboard down here in the corner,
(01:40:03):
so we'll see if we'll see what they're talking about here, all.
Speaker 4 (01:40:10):
Right, You point out that was a tremendous throw. He's
he's had four of those, three or four of these
in the first half.
Speaker 3 (01:40:17):
So they are going to count a touchdown, I believe,
But are they're calling something on the play?
Speaker 4 (01:40:26):
Well, I don't know the spike were one anymore. He
spiked it in the back of the end zone, so
maybe that's what the penalty was. But of course the
score will count.
Speaker 3 (01:40:37):
And that was number five on the reception for Harrisburg
on that one, that was Lewis. So Lewis gets the
touchdown reception with just nine seconds left to play. Mcdevid
down twenty two to fourteen. Now we'll see if Harrisburg,
(01:40:59):
well they're back to up. Are they still going to
go for the two point conversion?
Speaker 4 (01:41:07):
Yeah, and perhaps their kicker. I mean that would be
you know, thirty five yards if they would attempt to
kick it. So maybe, in fact, more than that, I
think they might have just got to delay a game.
I'm not sure.
Speaker 3 (01:41:21):
It's back to the twenty three yard line after all that,
and it looks like they will go for two from
the twenty three yard line just nine seconds left to play,
So Crusaders can stop them here, there will still be
a one score game.
Speaker 4 (01:41:36):
I just throw it up for Coke and see if
he comes down with it.
Speaker 3 (01:41:39):
Three wide outs to the near side, two to the
far and here's a pass over the middle, and this
one is incomplete. There were two Cougars in the back
of the end zone there, but it falls harmlessly to
the ground and so it stays twenty two to fourteen Harrisburg.
So Crusader's dodge a little bit of a bullet dairy.
(01:41:59):
Look like he had his man down the seam there.
That was Dillard, but it's just a little too far
for him there. So Harrisburg goes up twenty two to fourteen.
But as we mentioned, mcdebitt will get the ball to
start the second half and have an opportunity to go
down the field and possibly tie this thing up. Nine
seconds left and the Cougars will kick off here. Definitely
(01:42:25):
an interesting first half of football and no surprise there.
Mcdebitt has played well the defense not being able to
make some big plays when it needed to. Some tough
penalties against Bisha mcdebitt in the first half as well.
(01:42:46):
So Harrisburg will line up to kick off here as
they go left to right from the home side of
things here, and they just do a little squib kick
which Bishop mcdebitt will filled it to they bring it
back to the thirty to the thirty five and cutting
out to the outside out here. Leave that as Ish
(01:43:06):
Palmer and he is taken down at the thirty seven
yard line, and that probably let's see. I think that'll
be the final play the first half. And yeah, it
looks like the clock said zero, so I think that
will do it. The teams will head to the locker
room and coaching staffs making sure they stay away from
(01:43:30):
each other here. So after one half of football here
we're at Severancefield. It's Harrisburg leading Bishop mcdebit twenty two fourteen.
Been an interesting first half. We'll take a break. When
we return, we'll have our halftime show. You're listening to
Bisha mcdebit football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixteen IRO Radio.

halftime Show, brought to you by Tim Decker of green
Spring Advisors, a fee only advisor. Visit their website at
(01:47:15):
GreenSpring Advisors dot com. Now let's head back to the field.
Speaker 3 (01:47:24):
Well, we're not at the field today. It's Art Selby
and Marty Bowman back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty
studios here in Harrisburg. Mcdebitt down twenty two fourteen at
the half. A very exciting, very interesting first half of football.
The Cougars would take the opening possession. Mcdebitt won the
kickoff but deferred, so it's key mcdebitt. We'll get the
(01:47:46):
ball to start the third quarter. As we always talk
about that first possession. A third quarter, so it'll be
even larger this week. Harrisburg put a really impressive drive
together as it would be capped off on a Mickens
touchdown run. They would go for twoo and Shank would
hit his tight end Brown for the two point conversion.
So an impressive started the game for Harrisburg because they
were up eight to nothing. Mcdebitt would respond there and
(01:48:08):
put a great drive together. They were in a key
third down and eight situation and mcdebitt designed a run
play for Sebastian Williams which totally fooled. Harrisburg ran it
down to the two yard line and Maurice Barnes would
take it in. From there, Crusaders would elect to kick
the extra point. They were down eight seven. At that point.
Cougars came right down the field and Dent would get
(01:48:31):
a touchdown for the Cougars and again they would go
for the two point conversion and they would go up
at that point sixteen to seven. Mcdebbitt would respond again
drive down the field, this time Maurice Barnes, out of
the full pack position, would take the handoff from Sebastian
to go in. It was sixteen fourteen Harrisburg. At that point,
(01:48:52):
mcdebit's defense got the stop they needed and the Crusaders
were in a fourth down and really unfortunate situation. They
had to first down, but fumbled the ball like ready
at the first down marker went back to yards. Crusaders
tried to draw Harrisburg, all sides elected to punt, and
then the Cougars would put a drive together here in
the final minute or so of the game of the
(01:49:14):
first half and go down and score on the Lewis
touchdown reception. And then they had all sorts of penalties,
so they had to go for a two point conversion
way out and they did not get it. So mcdevid's
defense held there and they were within one score a
touchdown in a two point conversion away from tying this
thing up. As they will get the ball to start
the third quarter here in this game, So we will
(01:49:38):
take another break. We'll take a look at today's weather forecast.
Now I have some scores for you here in the

Speaker 3 (01:51:38):
All right. We're here at halftime Art selby Marty Bowman
back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios, Bishop mcdebbit
trailing the Harrisburg Cougars twenty two to fourteen out at
Severance Field. A very exciting first half of football out
there between the Cougars and your Crusaders and Bishop mcdebbit
within one score here as they will get the all
(01:52:00):
to start the third quarter down twenty to fourteen, and
obviously college football starting up. It's a great time to
be a sports fan. You got baseball going on as
you get closer to the baseball playoffs. High school football
really got reripped up last weekend. College football really getting
started this weekend. And then the NFL gets started next weekend.
(01:52:23):
Just run through some scores here. Ohio State ahead of
Texas seven and nothing in that game in the third quarter,
four to twenty five left to play in the third
and Ohio State backed up there and they're in two
yard line in that one. So maybe a bit of
a surprise is Texas trailing there seven to nothing. Texas
ranked number one, but of course the Buckeyes are defending
(01:52:45):
national champions playing in their home field, so they're tough
to beat there. Tennessee ahead of Syracuse thirty one to
fourteen at the half. Some other games today, Old Dominion
taking on number twenty Indiana, you have, let's see. Of course,
Nevada is playing at Penn State at three thirty, so
that one should be a total mismatch. Marshall is at
(01:53:06):
number five. Georgia at three thirty today, Alabama at Florida State.
Alabama ranked eighth this year, that game coming up at
three thirty. Of course, the Knowles really struggled last year.
We'll see if they can rebound this year. Iowa State
is number twenty two. They're at home against South Dakota
this afternoon. You got Oregon a future Penn State opponent
(01:53:27):
at home at four o'clock against Montana State number eighteen.
Oklahoma at home at six o'clock today against Illinois State. Florida,
who's ranked fifteenth, will take on Long Island. At seven o'clock.
Kansas State's ranked seventeenth, they take on North Dakota. Texas
A and M will host UTSA Texas San Antonio. Believe
(01:53:48):
who that is seven o'clock. Tonight big game at LSU,
ranked ninth in the country, will go to number four
Clemson at seven thirty. Michigan number fourteen hosting New Mexico.
Texas Tech ranked twenty three, We'll host Arkansas Pine Bluff.
You got number twenty one, Old miss hosting Georgia State
Tonight number sixteen SMU against East Texas A and M
(01:54:11):
number eleven. Arizona State will host Northern Arizona. Of course,
the big game tomorrow night is a number ten Miami
host the Irish of Notre Dame at seven thirty. Notre
Dame coming in ranked number six in some polls, I've
seen them higher in others. And you have a Virginia
Tech at South Carolina on Sunday at three o'clock and
(01:54:32):
TCU takes on North Carolina. That game is a Monday night,
So that's a look at the college football scoreboard. It
will take a break. When we return, we'll have some

Hll right, Welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios,
Art Selby and Marty Bowman. I'm back here covering the
mcdebit Harrisburg game for you. Crusaders down twenty two fourteen
at the half. Been a very exciting first half. Mcdabitt,
we'll get the ball to start the third quarter here
as the team starting to make their way back onto
(01:56:48):
the field. At least it looks like mcdebit is over
on the far side. Some first half stats courtesy of
our man Rob Maglisee, who was out of the game
first downs, Harrisburg has twelve mcdevid eleven passing yardage in
the first half Harrisburg one hundred and one yards, mcdebit
thirty eight total rushing yards mcdeviit one hundred and thirteen
Harrisburg one hundred and seven and the total yards for
(01:57:11):
the first half Harrisburg two hundred and eight yards of
mcdeviit one hundred and fifty one on the ground, swoops
twelve rushes sixty six yards, Maurice Barnes five rushes for
nineteen yards, and of course he has the touchdowns in
the first half for mcdebit there, and Sebastian Williams is
four for four in the first half for thirty eight yards,
(01:57:31):
plus he had that key run on the third down
play there to put mcdebit in a first and goal
situation there to score mcdebit's first touchdown. So as the
teams start to make their way back onto the field
here for the second half, we'll take our final break

Speaker 3 (01:59:16):
All right, Welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios.
Here in Harrisburg, Art selby Marty Bowman. Exciting first half
of football here mcdebitt down twenty two fourteen to Harrisburg
Crusaders will get the ball to start the third quarter.
And Marty, what are you looking for in the second
half here?
Speaker 4 (01:59:33):
I'm looking for a continuation. I'm looking for continue if
Harrisburg's a just and you know, what else do you
have that you want to do offensively? If you're mcdebitt,
there's got to be a point where they get a stop.
They did have one. It's gonna have to be a
stop here, some point for mcdebitt to, you know, if
(01:59:54):
they score, to get this thing to even. I look
for continuation of of the same. On offense, they've had success,
a little bit of passing game, a lot of running,
and again, lengthen the game out, slow the game down,
don't give Harrisburg a lot of opportunities to break any
big plays, and keep this where it is, keep it
(02:00:16):
a real close game and extend it into the fourth quarter.
Speaker 3 (02:00:19):
Want to remind everyone in our postgame show today, we'll
have our Game Day Men's Health Player of the Game
coming up. After the game today, and so that'll be
coming up here, but obviously a lot of football to
get to before we get there. So, as we mentioned,
Bishop McDevitt will receive the ball to start the third
quarter beautiful day at Severance Field at Harrisburg High School
(02:00:42):
is the Cougars and they're all black uniforms and black helmets.
Go back onto the field here, looks like they will
kick off going left to right from the home side
of things here at Severance Field. Mcdebitt, as we mentioned
several times today, the white jersey's dark numbers, white pants
with the blue and gold trim, and the traditional Vegas
gold helmets.
Speaker 4 (02:01:02):
All right, let's bring up some memories not also good
if you remember it was the third quarter last year
at Rocko Ortenzio Stadium where Harrispur proved to be the
difference in that game. At the big long couple plays
to Coke quarterback for the long run, some big plays
for the Cougars. Mcdebit's you know they're going to have
(02:01:22):
to avoid that today, So.
Speaker 3 (02:01:25):
We'll see what mcdebit can do on offense. Here is
Cougar is lining up to kick off here, the officials
ready to start play here looks like arpool kickoff here
for the Harrisburg Cougars mentioned going left or right, and
(02:01:49):
we're just about ready for football here in this third quarter,
and this will be quite a half of football here,
I'm sure.
Speaker 4 (02:02:00):
So here we go.
Speaker 3 (02:02:01):
Arp will line up the kickoff. I would imagine Ish
Palmer beck deep for Bishop mcdebitt, and here's the kick.
This one will be caught by arp inside to five.
He's got to ten, he's got to fifteen, he's got
to twenty, he's got to twenty five, runs into one
of his players, still going and pushes his way all
the way out to the forty yard line. So a
(02:02:22):
great kickoff there returned by Ish. I believe on that one,
a very.
Speaker 4 (02:02:30):
Good kickoff return. Look like he was he hit his
own man, his own man went down, he was able
to bounce off and stay up and put it right
at the forty yard line for the Crusaders, sixty yards
away from what could be a time touchdown. I think
at this point are a little bit. I guess I'm
gonna look ahead. But if mc debit would score here,
I think at this point I am going for two.
Speaker 3 (02:02:50):
Yeah, I can't disagree. You want to get this thing
tied up now in the second half.
Speaker 4 (02:02:54):
But first things first, let's get the game tying touchdown.
Speaker 3 (02:02:59):
So I think that was Ish Palmer on the kickoff.
Return sets mcdebitt up good field position, going right to
left from the home side of things at severans field.
Crusaders will bring a man in motion and Sebastian will
hand this one off up the middle, and this Tom
Harrisburg defends it well is Crusaders might have actually lost
to yard on that one, and I think that was
(02:03:22):
Swoops on the carry.
Speaker 4 (02:03:24):
Kind of tucked a few extra black jerseys in the
middle of that defensive line there, and backers aren't figuring
that mcdebitt was going to come out with what they
had been doing, which is just the runoff guard.
Speaker 3 (02:03:40):
So it'll be second and eleven for Bishop mcdebit. At
the thirty nine yard line. Sebastian has a play from
the forest side, brings it back. Crusaders break huddle. Now
again they have two backs in the backfield. I actually
think Jack Dawson is in there to the right of
Sebastian back to pass. He'll fire one of the outside.
This one is complete close to a first down depends
(02:04:02):
upon the mark and the old market just short at
the forty nine yard line, I believe, And again trying
to get a number on that one, that one might
have been Gauge.
Speaker 4 (02:04:16):
Nice throw by Sebastian Gage was just a ankle away
from breaking it for a really big, big play.
Speaker 3 (02:04:25):
So that was Gage Ruth on the reception there. So mcdebitt, Now,
if a third and one at the forty nine yard line.
Speaker 4 (02:04:30):
I don't think there's any question about getting the first
down in two plays here.
Speaker 3 (02:04:34):
You have to do it power eye formation, and here's
the run for the Crusaders. They got the first down
and more down to the forty five yard line and
first down in ten, Bishop mcdebitt and trying to see
who that again was on the run for the Crusaders.
Speaker 10 (02:04:57):
That was Swoops.
Speaker 3 (02:04:58):
I think he took a shot to the face on
that one too.
Speaker 4 (02:05:01):
Yeah, I couldn't tell where he took it. I thought
maybe his ankle was twisted as he went down or whatever.
But I'm assuming he's up. I don't know if he's
still in there.
Speaker 3 (02:05:10):
He's up and off the field. You might have came
out to take a playoff. So mcdebit for first down
and ten at the Harrisburg forty five yard line, nine
fifty seven left to play in the third quarter, Crusaders
down twenty two to fourteen. Just getting started on the
second half. And Rob did mention to us who was
(02:05:31):
at the game, he did limp off the field. There,
So three white outs to the far side from mcdebit,
one to the near Sebastian back to pass fires one
down the field looking for a big play and this
one is going to be intercepted at the seventeen yard line.
Mcdebitt trying to make a big play down the field
and this one is going to be picked off. Trying
(02:05:55):
to get a number on that one for Harrisburg. Might
have been Trey's walker and obviously a huge play there.
This disappointing play for mcdebe.
Speaker 4 (02:06:03):
Yeah, y, you know, one of the first really big
mistakes there. It was covered well, great defense by the
secondary there in Harrisburg.
Speaker 2 (02:06:12):
All right.
Speaker 4 (02:06:13):
I was just actually getting ready to say, at some
point in time in the second half offensively looking for
mcdebitt to bring that second back, who's like if he's
there blocking to a chip, blocking income out of the backfield,
because I'm not sure the way the game is going
if Harrisburg picks that up or not. And that was
(02:06:34):
not to a back unfortunately, it was just thrown into coverage.
Speaker 3 (02:06:38):
Zach Brown is back in the game for mcdebit, by
the way, as he was injured early on in this game.
Speaker 4 (02:06:43):
That's good to hear.
Speaker 3 (02:06:44):
Cougar's have it from their own sixteen yard line and
they will run this one to the right side. Not
a ton there is. Mcdebit's defense defends it pretty well.
So the Crusaders after the turnover there, it's I mean,
it's almost a must that the defense get a stop here.
Now they can't go down two scores, no.
Speaker 4 (02:07:06):
And you're absolutely right, and the defense has to make
a stand here, has to pick up the offense, get
the offense back out there in the field, and you know,
make sure that their confidence isn't shaken and that they're
you know, get it downfield. So again, big stand for
the Crusader defense coming up here.
Speaker 3 (02:07:25):
Second and eight for the Cougars, shank back to pass
fires one of the outside and this one is incomplete
in and out of the hands of his receiver on
the far sideline that might have been Walker on that one,
and I think that was a ball that should have
been caught. So now obviously a huge opportunity for mcdebbit.
(02:07:47):
After they turn the ball over. You have a third
and eight here from the defense defensive viewpoint, and a
shot to get the ball right back after the turnover.
Speaker 4 (02:07:56):
Harrisburg has a luxury here with the lead, they can
take a shot the field. So you know, they haven't
really done that yet. Let's see if that would be
something that they'd consider on a third and eight.
Speaker 3 (02:08:07):
Third and eight shank back to pass has pressure, He's
going to air one out down the field and mcdebitt,
with good coverage out there, falls harmlessly to the ground,
incomplete just nothing there. Couldn't defend it any better. And
Harrisburg's gonna have a fourth and eight back at their eighteen.
They'll have to punt a.
Speaker 4 (02:08:24):
Right one of them. Mcdebitt was lineman or a linebacker,
might have got away with a half step on the
snap there. He he got off the ball very quickly,
let's say so. But no flag, which is a good thing,
and looks like Harrisburg will punt from here. Although Art
we've been out of Severns Field and seen some strange
(02:08:44):
things with punts deep in their own territory.
Speaker 3 (02:08:48):
So I believe that is Arp back inside his five
yard line for Harrisburg. Clock stops, eight forty two left
to play in the third, mcdebitt bringing some pressure and
he is able to get rid of it. Debit should
end up with good field position, but the ball is
fumbled by mcdebit's kick return. It picks it up though,
running inside the forty down to the thirty five, still
(02:09:09):
on his feet, and goes down to the twenty eight
yard line of Harrisburg. I think that was Ish Palmer
on the return.
Speaker 4 (02:09:17):
Marty, Yeah, we're gonna think it's his, Yes, And I'll
tell you whatever recovery. I don't know about u Art,
but I was just like falling it, falling it, you know,
And he picks it up, and then Harrisburg overran him
and he's able to get it deep down a cougar territory.
Speaker 3 (02:09:33):
And uh mcdebit huddle one up there on the forest
side there. So if everything is normal here, the Crusaders
have a first down in ten at the Harrisburg twenty
seven yard line with eight twenty seven left to play
in the third.
Speaker 4 (02:09:47):
Really just put it back where they were at the interception.
Speaker 3 (02:09:51):
Yeah, so there you go. So a big opportunity for
Bishop mcdebitt. Here one white out to each side of
the fields about with one running back in the backfield,
and the Crusaders are going to run this one to
the near side and not much there for Bishop mcdebit
is the Cougars defend it well. Trying to see who
(02:10:15):
that was, looking at our different monitors here to see
who ran that ball for mcdebitt. That might have been
LaRue actually, yeah, I believe it was Lauru. Yeah, I
(02:10:36):
think I saw three in there. So he gets nothing.
Second and ten mcdebit from the twenty seven yard line,
seven forty eight left to play in the third, there's
another handoff in a big hole up the middle, this
time for the Crusaders. Is they able to take this
one inside the twenty that's Maurice Barnes that time he
picks up at least seven maybe eight, And now mcdeviit
will have a third down and two. We'll see where
(02:10:59):
they spot it. So obviously, thank you're mcdeviit here you
got two downs to get this.
Speaker 4 (02:11:07):
Yeah, your Barnes is a step away there are from
taking that to the house. So like what you're seeing here, patients,
take your time just you know, continue to run the football. Execute.
Speaker 3 (02:11:21):
Yeah, there's the power running games, making it happen.
Speaker 2 (02:11:24):
And now.
Speaker 3 (02:11:26):
It's like mcdebit's kind of take a time out here
on this third down and two, so let's take one

Speaker 3 (02:12:17):
All right, welcome back to the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios.
Art selby Marty Bowman, following Bishop mcdebitt and Harrisburg here
from the studios this afternoon. Crusader's down twenty two fourteen,
seven oh seven left to play here in the third
quarter and mcdebit facing a third down and two from
the nineteen yard line. Looks like Maurice Barnes is in
(02:12:40):
there to the left to Sebastian. Crusader's bunch up two
wide receivers on the far side, and I believe that
definitely is Maurice to the left to Sebastian. Looks like
John Tay's down. Here is the receiver on the near side.
Speaker 4 (02:12:53):
All right, there was a timeout you probably didn't want
to use, but mcdebit could not afford a mistake.
Speaker 3 (02:12:58):
And they're gonna hand the ball off up the middle
this time, and Bishop mcdebitt picks up the first down.
And I think they handed that one off to Zach
Brown that time, Marty who gets the first down.
Speaker 4 (02:13:07):
It was an inside handoff, just sort of a counter
and Zach Brown goes over just outside the left tackle
takes it down to the twenty yard line or fifteen.
Good call there by the Crusaders, a little bit of
a different look art.
Speaker 3 (02:13:23):
That was a little shuffle pass actually not kicked off. Yeah,
so a little shuffle pass works on a good call
for mcdebitt there after the time out, so you got
a first down and ten from the fifteen clock, takes
down the six thirty seven left to plane the third.
Mcdebit down twenty two to fourteen. Crusaders come with two
white outs to the far side. Sebastian back to pass,
(02:13:45):
fires one over the middle. This one is caught inside
the five, and that'll be a first and goal. Bishop
mcdebitt trying to see who that was.
Speaker 4 (02:13:57):
That was Gage Ruth, Yeah, I was gonna say. It
looks like Gate, just tall body there that it stretches
it out to about the Uh. Well, they'll mark him
just at the one or just inside the one.
Speaker 3 (02:14:09):
So mcdebitt with a first and goal inside the one,
six' ten left to play in the. Third crusader's down
twenty two to, fourteen so they'll line up. Here looks
Like Maurice barnes is in. There it's a bashing under
center in his power eye. Formation they give it To
(02:14:31):
Maurice reice fighting and he will not get there as
they slow him down at the one yard. Line mcdebitt
trying to run to the sides there a little too
much instead up the. Middle so we have a second,
goal second and goal for.
Speaker 4 (02:14:48):
Mcdebitt credit To, cougars aren't they really rallied to the
football there And kat mcdebbit from getting in at least
on first, Down.
Speaker 3 (02:14:58):
So they'll spot that back a little bit out just
outside the one yard. Line preceders come back here now
five twelve left to play in the third, again same
power eye, formation And sebastian bumps into his running back
(02:15:20):
but stays up on his feet and takes it in
for the, touchdown and mcdebit's on the board is twenty
two to. Twenty there are two point conversion away from
tying the game.
Speaker 4 (02:15:28):
Up just an unbelievable play or the big bonus there
was when he ran into his running, back he had
the ball sort of extended. OUT i don't know if
the back was supposed to take it or, what AND
i think he was going to pitch to the second,
back but fortunately the ball did not come. Loose so
(02:15:49):
mcdebit choosing to. Coach wector wants to keep it at
the one point thing here and very confident in his, Kicker.
Speaker 3 (02:15:58):
So mcdebit down twenty two twenty with five oh two
left to play in the, Third RelA lines up to.
Kick the extra point kick is up and it's, good
so with five oh two left to play in the,
third mcdebit draws offin. One it's twenty two to twenty.
One harrisburg will take a. Break you're listening To bisha

On Fox sports fourteen to.
Speaker 3 (02:17:10):
Sixty hi, Right welcome back to The Fox sports fourteen
sixty Studios here In, Harrisburg Ard Selby Marty, Bowman bishop
mcdebitt draws within one after A Sebastian williams kind of
ran into his running back, there but was able to
hang onto the ball and just take it into the
end zone. Himself crusaders elect A grella extra, point so
(02:17:33):
they trail twenty two to twenty one with five h
two left to play in the third here and now
The crusaders will kick off and give their defense and
opportunity to get the ball back here and see if
they can finally get a lead in this. Game So
grella will kick off going from right to left from
the home side of things At Severance field. Here and
(02:17:55):
it's been a great, game and it's been as, advertised
no doubt about. It both of these offenses can really.
Impressive a lot of athletes out in the field and
both teams having all sorts of trouble stopping each.
Speaker 4 (02:18:06):
Other kind of curious to see how this kick goes.
Art we've grown used to aiden Grell a kicking it
in the end, zone and his first two kickoffs here
it's not.
Speaker 3 (02:18:17):
Happened so he'll line up here and here's the, kick
and this one Will that one was a no doubt about.
It that one will sail into the end zone for the.
Touchback so The cougars will come out here now it's
more late pushing and shoving. There cougars will come out
here now going left to right from the home side
(02:18:37):
of things At Severance, field and their lead trim down to.
One The crusaders hanging in there with. Them and this
has been a great football, game obviously a different story
than what we saw last week down at The York Rose.
Bowl classic For bisho, Mcdebbitt.
Speaker 4 (02:18:55):
Yes for. Certain and from the beginning When harrisburg drove
down scored that go ahead, touchdown and you look back
at how well The crusaders answered and how Well Sebastian
williams handled the offense some plays when he needed, to you,
know a couple of good drives and now a third drive,
here so nice position for The.
Speaker 3 (02:19:17):
Crusaders cougars will run this one up the middle in
a nice run up to the thirty three yard, line
and now a penalty flag comes flying.
Speaker 4 (02:19:25):
In that's in the area Of Faceman. Squart we'll have to. See,
yeah right, there it WAS i think.
Speaker 3 (02:19:34):
Another very late. Flag yeah that was if that's what
the call, WAS i, mean that was. Wayye that'll be
a laid hold on The.
Speaker 4 (02:19:44):
Cougars but.
Speaker 3 (02:19:47):
The officials are talking things over clock stops four fifty
five left the plane the third Airsp we're got twenty
two to twenty. One Now harrisburg offensive line over there,
tawning blatantly. Tawning SO i think they called something On harrisburg, too.
Speaker 4 (02:20:18):
So they they get the face mass. Penalty and then
THE Uh couers commit a personal FOUL i believe it,
was and so that's actually a break for The. Crusaders
art just third quarters flying by.
Speaker 3 (02:20:35):
Ball we'll go back to the twenty three yard, line
four fifty five left to play in the. Third mcdebit
down twenty two to twenty. One looking for a big
play from the mcdebit. Defense, here, scoreboard little slow. Adjusting
here is the balls back the twenty three yard, line
(02:20:57):
first and ten four thirty seven left to play in the.
Third here's a handoff For. Harrisburg they take it up
to the thirty one yard.
Speaker 4 (02:21:04):
Line, now a couple of running places here by The
cougars to start the third. Quarter art and a little
bit more physicality by that frontline of The cougar is
able to pick up more yards than what they had
been doing on a regular basis in the first, half
so that that might be a concern if they're going
(02:21:26):
to be able to run right at mcdebbitt.
Speaker 3 (02:21:29):
Down about four minutes left to plane the Third harrisburg
up twenty two to twenty. One second and two for The.
Cougars They shank moves things around a. Bit he's got
two wide receivers on the near, side one to the
far And harrisburg will pound this up the middle again
for a short gain and probably just enough to get
(02:21:51):
the first. Down The harrisburg had mcdebitt with good penetration that,
time but the hair for running back able to spin
his way up the field a little, bit and now
they did give him the first, down first down and.
TEN i think that Was dent on the run for The.
(02:22:12):
Cougars they're becoming a lot more deliberate on offense, here
trying to slow things down in this one point. Game
two white outs to the near, side one of the.
Far shank looks, Around shank back to. Pass he's gonna
try one down the field and he's got his man
(02:22:34):
down at the forty yard. Line That's, coke And coke
will have a first down at the mcdebit forty two
yard line before he's knocked out of.
Speaker 4 (02:22:43):
Bounds coke just beats the corner on a just sort
of a streak pattern down the sideline and unfortunately the
safety unable to get over there in time to help.
Speaker 3 (02:22:54):
Out so big play for The. Cougars first down and
ten at the mcdebit forty two yard, line THREE u
five left to play in the, third and, uh they
got mcdebit to, jump BUT i Mean harrisburg's offensive line
did some kind of crazy formation to do. It they
(02:23:17):
all just kind of jumped down at. Once, yeah it
was it was well. Conceived if they indeed call the,
penalty let's see who they. Are so, no it's they're
gonna call it Against. HARRISBURG i just gotta say, This
Coach franklin's gonna have his hands full next year working
(02:23:38):
with some individual. Players m.
Speaker 16 (02:23:47):
All.
Speaker 4 (02:23:47):
Right so they had official the referee explaining To Calvin,
everett The cougar, coach what the call was against The
cougar offensive front there or quarterback. Whichever it, was.
Speaker 3 (02:24:02):
Three minutes left to play in the, third mcdebit down
twenty two to twenty, one so it should be a
first down in. Fifteen it seems like every play this
point's taken forever to. Run cougar's had three white outs
to the fore, side one of the, near one back
in the. Backfield shanka waits a snap And harrisburg will
run it this time and mcdebit gets in there and
(02:24:23):
shuts it down. Quickly nice tackle in the, backfield trying
to get a number on that one for. You but
one of mcdebit's linemen that actually might have BEEN. Rj
that wouldn't surprise. ME rj was all over the field
last week For bishop. Mcdebbitt he was our player of
the game from The crusaders, Standpoint so that makes it
(02:24:48):
a second down and fifteen back at the forty seven yard,
line two ten left to play in the, Third harrisburg
up by. One three white outs to the fore, side
one of the. Near harrisburg definitely becoming a lot more
deliberate on offense. Here shank will fire one of the
outside and taking down in the backfield as a receiver
(02:25:10):
as he caught it as a mcdebit defender got in
there and took him down for a, loss trying to
get a number on that.
Speaker 4 (02:25:20):
One, marty that might have Been Maurice barnes might have.
Speaker 3 (02:25:23):
Been, YEAH i think you're right coming back.
Speaker 4 (02:25:25):
From that stand up defensive end.
Speaker 3 (02:25:28):
Spot, unfortunately ACTUALLY i don't think it. Was the player
is down For bishop. Mcdebitt can't get a number on
that one minute fifty left to play in this third.
Quarter mcdebit down twenty two to twenty, one and that.
Speaker 4 (02:25:49):
One does not look, Good, art That's patrick, right.
Speaker 3 (02:25:58):
Yeahs league might have got it stood up under. There
actually he's getting up here, now so, well they're helping
him off the field. Here so see if he.
Speaker 4 (02:26:10):
Right actually played that so Well art that he was
maybe half a step away from just a pick six on. That,
yeah but he was made sure that he got to tackle.
Done but as he was twirling the uh the receiver
and pulling him, down he he twisted his own, ANKLE i.
Speaker 3 (02:26:30):
Believe, so event the play does Put harrisburg in a
third down and, Twenty so hopefully that's not a like
a season ending injury or anything like. That hopefully it's
just an ankle twist and he'll be back at some.
Point So harrisburg now for a third and twenty from
(02:26:51):
the forty eight minute fifty left to play in the.
Speaker 4 (02:26:53):
Third crusaders have to get off the field no.
Speaker 3 (02:26:55):
Penalties harrisburg with three white outs to the near, side
one to the far and one of the guys who
was over there lined up at the. Back And harrisburg's
gonna play this one conservatively is they will run this
one up the, middle and they do pick up some
yards down to the mcdebit forty two yard. Line they
did get about.
Speaker 4 (02:27:13):
Ten, yeah suddenly it becomes a fourth down play that
the cooars might decide, to you, know just go ahead
and try to pick it.
Speaker 3 (02:27:23):
Up so a minute forty two left to play in the,
third mcdebit up twenty two to twenty, one and looks
like they will try and go for. It they are
lined up with three wide outs to the near, side
two to the. Far crusaders can get a stop, here
they'll get great field. Position now they're just going to
(02:27:45):
do a quick kick and this one will bounce inside the.
Twenty harrisburg go down it at the nineteen yard. Line
so mcdebicate's to. Stop they Need. Marty they get to.
Speaker 4 (02:27:55):
Stop they need and plus that the bounce was their
face instead of bouncing towards their own goal. Line it
just bounced up in the. Air harrisburg had to grab
it there at the. Nineteen so not not horrible feel
positioned like maybe it could have been on a pooch.
Kick so.
Speaker 3 (02:28:15):
So you got a minute two left in the third,
here now mcdebitt with an opportunity to go down here
and score and take the. Lead only trailing by. One
they could even conceivably kick a field goal to get
the lead in this. Game now with the kicking, Situation
i'm sure Coach wector wants to put a touchdown on the.
Board here come The crusaders onto the, field one white,
(02:28:36):
out all alone in the far. Side they'll bring one
man in motion And sebastian will hand this off to his,
back turns the. Corner he's got the twenty to the
twenty one And crusaders pick up about two to three
yards on that. One we'll be second down and, seven
trying to get a number on that carry for you.
Speaker 4 (02:28:59):
At least something out in nothing there that could have
been a three yard loss in the backfield ball carry
able to turn the corner.
Speaker 3 (02:29:08):
And, uh mcdebitt with the ball to twenty, two yard.
Line they'll give them two clocks down the thirty seconds
left to play in the third mcdebit again with those
two backs in the backfield Surrounding, sebastian and he'll dump
one quickly to the. Outside this one's complete and mcdebitt
will run this one forward up to about the thirty
three yard line and that should be a first. Down
(02:29:30):
bishop mcdebitt and uh again looking for a number on that.
One who that was for The. Crusaders it was a
great run after the. Reception looked like quick to, me
but wasn't short in the number. Again i'm gonna see you.
(02:29:51):
Quick but, yeah that's going to be the final play
of the third quarter here at Severns. Field mcdebit down
twenty two to twenty, one but The crusaders have the
ball AND i believe they have a first down to
start the fourth. Quarter we'll take a. Break you're listening

Hira welcome back to The Fox sports fourteen sixty studios
as we begin the fourth Quarter bishop mcdebitt with the
ball down twenty two twenty. One they switch ends of
the field and the mcdebitt will go left to right
from the home side of things here At Severance. Field
and what a game we have here for, you and
we'll see if mcdebitt can possibly take the lead. Here
(02:31:55):
And bishop mcdebit comes with two white outs to the near,
side one to the far and The crusaders are going
to run this one to the near. Side and it's
like they did a nice job getting just getting back
to the line of scrimmage or close to that, one
as there was not much there that Was. LaRue i
could see here on the carry on the near side
of the. Field here.
Speaker 4 (02:32:18):
L rue getting a lot of touches today Here.
Speaker 3 (02:32:20):
Art crusader's definitely trying to keep things as balanced as
they can. Here so eleven and a half minutes left to,
play they'll say lost to, yard so to be second
eleven mcdebit from thirty. Two three white outs to the
far side from, mcdebit and one of the near one
back in the backfield lines up to the left Of.
(02:32:40):
Sebastian sebastian looks. Outside now he's under heavy pressure and
he will be. Sacked a penalty flag comes flying. In
we'll see what that.
Speaker 4 (02:32:50):
Is, yeah that's sort of a holding area there behind the. Quarterback,
UNFORTUNATELY i think for.
Speaker 3 (02:32:55):
Mcdebit mcdebit back in the backfield was kind of twisted
down back. There so let's see if it is a
holding call against.
Speaker 4 (02:33:06):
Mcdebitt williams wanted to get out of their art and
just couldn't get out quick, enough you, know to put
some yardage on. That so it becomes a second and
long for The. Crusaders now with the holding.
Speaker 3 (02:33:20):
Penalty If I'm, harrispur you'd have to think about declining
that because you'd have a third down and long after the.
Sack do you kind of give mcdebitt an extra? Down
and we've talked about how these offenses were able to
score from anywhere on the. Field, YEAH i.
Speaker 4 (02:33:34):
Agree with you on. ART i would have you, KNOW
i don't have had them do the third and third
and eleven or whatever it would have.
Speaker 3 (02:33:41):
Been so it goes the second and twenty one back
to the twenty two yard. Line mcdebitt with three white
outs to the far side and one of the near
That's Harold Holten. Junior one back in the backfield With.
Sebastian sebastian back to. Pass here comes the pressure, again
comes out of, it looks down the, field fires one
down the.
Speaker 13 (02:33:58):
Field he's got a man opened at the forty For bishop.
Mcdebbittt that'll be a first down at the forty yard
line Of. Harrisburg, uh he got out of the.
Speaker 4 (02:34:09):
ART i thought that he might have crossed the line of. Scrimmage,
yeah it looks like they're going to take it. Back,
nope Not, YEAH i thought he might have went past
the line of, scrimmage and he just pulled up quickly
and found the man. Open so we're not seeing what's
going on back at the line of. Scrimmage that's what
we're waiting. On we'll have to see where the place
(02:34:34):
started and see where he crossed or didn't. Cross, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:34:46):
So officials still talking things over. Here obviously we can't
hear what they're. Saying now they're gonna say it's like
a hold on Mcdebat so suddenly the flags raining down on. Mcdevid.
Speaker 4 (02:35:11):
Here the folks like you were kind of waiting and
hoping to see a replay of. This so we can.
See we thought it was signaled as a. Hold LIKE i,
SAID i assumed a line of scrimmage issue because of
how Far Sebastian williams went up before we let it.
Speaker 3 (02:35:31):
Go so they started to. Clock now mcdebit down by,
one ten and a half minutes to, go And, harrisburg
the benefactor of two holding calls here back to back
boy that the holding call is what they called on
mcdebit's running back. There that was absolutely. Ridiculous with some
(02:35:53):
of the stuff that's been going on, today that was
that was not. Good And sebastian's going to keep it
himself and he will run this back out to the
ten yard. LINE i think they wanted, to you, know
they don't want to make a mistake down.
Speaker 10 (02:36:12):
There.
Speaker 4 (02:36:12):
Art my first impression Was i'm not sure about, that
BUT i think that they just don't want to make a.
Mistake the, scoreboard.
Speaker 3 (02:36:27):
Scoreboard is saying second down in. Six now it's third and.
One so he was able to pick up five on that.
Run so, mcdeviitt after all that, craziness can still get
a first down here third and.
Speaker 4 (02:36:40):
One that would Explained, Art like, YOU i thought it
was second and very.
Speaker 3 (02:36:45):
Long sebastian's back to. Pass, well he runs into his own,
man running for his. Life now he's going to fire
one down the field and out of. Bounds and that
was the right thing to do.
Speaker 4 (02:37:00):
There don't don't put it. Up don't try to throw
it back across the.
Speaker 3 (02:37:04):
FIELD i don't think it would have been third and,
one mcdebit would have. That something had to be up
with the scoreboard, thing SO i. Agree so mcdebit's gonna
have to punt. It The crusaders definitely or due for a.
Break we'll leave it at, that so they'll have to
(02:37:26):
punt it deep inside their ten yard. Line here nine
to fourteen left to. Play debit down twenty two to twenty.
One RelA standing in his own end, zone and he
does get this thing, off and this one will be
caught By. Harrisburg back it around midfield and The crusaders
(02:37:48):
trying to get the man. Down they finally do it
the thirty eight yard, line but The cougars with some
great field. Position here nine oh six left to play
in this, Game bishop. Mcdebit football brought to you By

Hmm mcdebitt down by a single point twenty two twenty,
one eight point fifty nine left to play balls at
the mcdebit forty yard. Line crusaders, defense it's got to
(02:38:32):
step up here and The cougars will run this up
the middle and mcdebitt does exactly that as they shut
it down. Quickly is A harrisburg at best got a
half yard on that, One.
Speaker 4 (02:38:52):
Devin Gon, uh you, know need need a fumble, Here
they're gonna need a.
Speaker 3 (02:38:57):
Turnover cougar's come back to the line on second down
to nine from the thirty, nine eight and a half
minutes left to. Play one white out to each side
of the field For. Harrisburg shank awaiting a snap and
The cougars will run it, again and this time mcdebit
gets in the backfield with some, penetration knocks him down
(02:39:18):
for about a three yard loss and we'll have a
third down and twelve or thirteen for The.
Speaker 4 (02:39:23):
Cougars trying to see who that initially was in that
front line to get in. THERE i think it Was
Jacai Heit Jakyle, LOGAN i think was the first one, day, like,
yes it was to get in. There oh, no he
(02:39:43):
wasn't the, first he was the. Second but good effort
there by the front seven Of bishop. Mcdebitt So.
Speaker 3 (02:39:53):
Harrisburg now for third and, twelve we've Seen harrisburg go
for it from Harry. S Your crusaders defense has got
two plays to stop him here and now now penalty
flag comes flying in from the far, side and hopefully
this one's Against. HARRISBURG i think it.
Speaker 4 (02:40:09):
Is it looks for the mcdebit coaches it. IS i
think it was maybe procedure by one of the.
Speaker 3 (02:40:18):
Wides so that'll make it third down and. Seventeen now
here's your opportunity For bishop. Mcdebitt i'm not Sure harrisburg
would even go for it on four and seventeen from.
Speaker 4 (02:40:34):
HERE i would think they would line up to go
for it as they did earlier and just do the quick. Kick,
yeah the quick pooch.
Speaker 3 (02:40:44):
Kick two wide outs to the near side For, harrisburg
one to the far back to. Pass here comes a
pressure from mcdebitt it'll roll out. Now he fires one
down the field and making a one handed catch inside
the mcdebit twenty yards line and might have been a
push off, there but it's not.
Speaker 4 (02:41:03):
Called there's a great throw on the run and that
Was coke. Again, yeah that quarterback has delivered delivered some
uh some.
Speaker 3 (02:41:17):
Throws now that there is laundry on the. Field maybe
they did call it holding Against. Harrisburg so there's the
break we're hoping mcdabitt would get, here and they finally get,
one so that's a big break for The crusaders and
then nullifies what was a fantastic catch By, Coke so
(02:41:45):
that will stop play. Here let's take a quick time

Sec the twenty twenty four to five Day State champs
play right here On Fox sports fourteen.
Speaker 3 (02:42:40):
Sixty all, right welcome back to The Fox sports fourteen
sixty Studios Art selby along With Marty, bowman and we
have a barn burner here for. You mcdebit down twenty
two to twenty one here in the fourth quarter with
six point fifty eight left to. Play harrisburg with the.
Ball but they have a third down and twenty two
(02:43:01):
from the forty three yard, line and mcdebitt's defense with
a great opportunity to get the ball back, here get
their offense rolling, here need to get a stop even
if you don't Want harrisburg to pick up a big
chunk of, yards Because, harrisburg as we've, seen will go
(02:43:21):
for it on fourth. Down, actually it's all the way
third and twenty seven now back at The harrisburg forty
three yard line and here comes the. Pressure they dump
a quick pass to the outside and mcdebiticate's over there
and stops him as he gets to the forty two yard. Line,
again they did pick up a lot of yards on
that one, though already on the quick swing.
Speaker 4 (02:43:42):
Outside, yeah and a very smart play by The cougar's offense,
there as you, said to pick up what they, can
and they're in a position to pick it. Up and
if they, don't you, know mcdebitt's still going to be in,
there probably inside their.
Speaker 3 (02:43:57):
Forty now they're trying to get The crusaders to, jump
and they did so that'll make it even more. Manageable
now it's all the way down to fourth and seven
east if that's how it's, Called, yeah it.
Speaker 10 (02:44:13):
Is on that.
Speaker 4 (02:44:14):
Art all they do is the the offensive line goes
to the line of scrimmage and right after, that the
quarterback just walks up and just, hollers just spout something
out and the, uh the line just. Jumps big play
in this game art that that was a huge penalty
(02:44:35):
against mcdebit.
Speaker 3 (02:44:37):
Still a great opportunity here, though to get off the
field fourth and seven from the thirty seven yard. Line
six zero six left to. Play shank has two white
outs to each side of the. Field see what mcdebit
can come up with here, Defensively shank surveying that mcdevit,
defense looks around a couple of. Times he goes, back
(02:45:03):
and they set and then they pull. Out and NOW
i Think harrisburg is going to take a time, out.
Speaker 4 (02:45:11):
WHICH i think that was a little. Predesigned you know
what if we don't draw them, off you, know and
get it to fourth and, two let's go ahead and
take the time.
Speaker 3 (02:45:19):

here we go play the game coming up right? Now
(02:46:04):
so here we. Go harrisburg still huddling, up and The
cougars will come back onto the. Field, here fourth down
and seven from the thirty seven yard. Line biggest play
the game right, here, Guys cougars have three wide outs
(02:46:24):
to the near, side one to the far and one
back in the. Backfield each team with two timeouts left
in this ballgame as. Well mcdebit down One Shank crusaders
sideline definitely getting into it. Here what we can, see
(02:46:46):
it's like they Have lewis on the near side here
along With. Dillard this IS i think A tv.
Speaker 4 (02:46:53):
Timeout that's what the delay is, NOW tv Is actually
we should.
Speaker 10 (02:47:00):
Be ready to.
Speaker 3 (02:47:01):
Go debit down twenty, two twenty, one five forty five
left to. Play here we. Go biggest play the. Game
two whiteouts to the near actually three white outs on
the near. Side, Now shank waits a, snap shank back to.
Pass shank fires one down the field and this one
is somehow caught inside the fifteen yard line By. Coke
(02:47:29):
just literally kind of throw it up for grabs And
coke goes up and gets it and brings it.
Speaker 4 (02:47:33):
Down, SHIT i did that go through one of the
other receiver's. Hands aret did that go Through lewis's hands
and Then coke was able to concentrate enough to pull it.
Down a huge play for The. Cougars coke is just you,
know he is exactly you know what he was last
(02:47:54):
year and.
Speaker 3 (02:47:54):
MORE i mean they were facing a third down and
twenty seven moments ago and they pick up the first,
down and now The cougars will run this one up
the middle and they get inside the ten down to
the eight yard. Line that is just a deflating series
there For bision mcdebit four fifty seven left to. Play
(02:48:17):
harrisburg doesn't if they, score if they don't get the
two point, conversion it's still a one score. Game But
harrisburg's gonna milk that. Clock now here up twenty two
to twenty. One they have a second and three at
the mcdebit eight shanks surveying the mcdebit. Defense second and
(02:48:41):
three from the, eight two white outs to the far,
side one of the near and The cougars will run
this one up the middle and this time they'll take
it into the end zone for a. Touchdown and trying
to see who they ran that one. With it's a
powerful run as they pushed a couple of the mcdebit
(02:49:03):
players out of the way to get in the end.
Speaker 4 (02:49:05):
Zone, DENT i believe who's really had a as you mentioned,
Earlier dent has really had a a impactful game for
The cougars.
Speaker 3 (02:49:15):
And they're up twenty eight twenty one now with four
eighteen left to.
Speaker 4 (02:49:18):
Play Princeton dent For harrisburg and he laid it hit
one of the mcdebit backers.
Speaker 3 (02:49:25):
There it looks like the, well we'll see if they're
going to go for. Two a weird formation. Here now
they come line up and it does appear they will
just kick the extra. Point this is a.
Speaker 4 (02:49:43):
Big extra point the game still mcdebit's.
Speaker 3 (02:49:47):
Reach high snap and the kick is up and it
does go. Through So harrisburg up twenty nine to twenty
one now with four eighteen left to. Play in this,
One crusaders will get the ball back with still a
chance to go down and tie. It you're listening To

Speaker 3 (02:50:48):
Sixty all, right welcome back to The Fox sports fourteen sixty.
Studios As harrisburg kicks this one, off and it's kicked
to one of the mcdebit up man who will return
this thing down the sideline in the hair. Territory AND
i was That Liam fuller or R. J, DUFFY i
can't tell. Which in any, event The crusaders are going
(02:51:09):
to have great field position inside the thirty five yard.
Line just cannot.
Speaker 4 (02:51:17):
SEE i don't think R. J. Duffy it's more of
A Liam fuller type. Look but, yeah with, YOU i
could not read the number interesting kick art to not you,
know maybe they were a little leery about kicking, deep
so they did a hard, kick maybe trying to get
it to hit a mcdabbitt player and recover the fumble
(02:51:38):
and seal this game. Up but.
Speaker 3 (02:51:42):
That was that was R j. Duffy oh it was.
Okay so bision mcdebitt now with great field position at
the thirty four yard, line four eleven left to. Play
crusaders have two timeouts left around twenty nine to twenty.
Speaker 4 (02:51:57):
One let's mark this. Down plenty of time for The crusaders.
Speaker 3 (02:52:00):
Here plenty of, time like you, know like we, said
you got the two timeouts still. Too sebastian fakes the,
handoff rolls to the, right fires one down the, field
and this one is in and out of the hands
of the mcdevit receiver for a. Touchdown the screen went.
BLURRY i mean that ball is literally in the. Hands
(02:52:26):
cannot throw that ball any, better and there's a penalty
on mcdebit, anyway so it wouldn't have. Counted so mcdebit
down twenty nine to twenty. One, yeah on the, run
(02:52:51):
the ball was thrown, Perfectly so the ball will go
back to the forty four yard. Line it will be
first down twenty, mcdebit and so mcdebit's still down eight
four or four left to. Play two white outs to
(02:53:13):
each side of the. Field Credit sebastian with a beautiful throw.
There unfortunately it wouldn't have counted anyway because a timely
flag was out for holding on mcdebitt And sebastian's passed
to the. Outside this one is complete to one of
his running, backs and mcdebitt will run the ball down
to the thirty seven yard, line.
Speaker 4 (02:53:32):
Pick up maybe what like seven or eight on that
art make it a about a second and thirteen, yep
maybe second and, Fourteen so a good game on first
down after the, penalty don't have to get at.
Speaker 3 (02:53:45):
All clock running three thirty seven left to. Play So
bishop mcdebitt breaks huddle, here two white outs to the far,
side one of the Near sebastian and the shotgun at
second and fourteen for, mcdebitt and mcdebitt will run at
(02:54:10):
this time up the middle and not much. There they
get maybe about a yard or two and we'll have
a third down and twelve For bush, mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (02:54:18):
And NOW i would think at this point art the
game is can mcdebit picked up thirteen fourteen yards in
the next two, Plays.
Speaker 3 (02:54:29):
Yeah you would, THINK i, mean they still have two timeouts,
left but you don't want to have to have your
defense come out and get one more stob you got
two shots to pick this. Up crusader's break. Huddle here
now two forty three left to play in this. One
mcdebit down twenty nine to twenty. One two white outs
to the near side for, mcdebitt one to the far
(02:54:51):
two backs in the backfield With. Sebastian sebastian waits to
snap back to pass fires one of the. Outside this
one is, complete should.
Speaker 4 (02:55:02):
Be a first.
Speaker 3 (02:55:02):
Down the ball's on the ground AND i Think harrisburg's
going to recover, it just too looser of the ball
there by the mcdebit receiver just wagging it out there
on the, side.
Speaker 4 (02:55:16):
Went to change hands once, again had the first down
after the inside, move and, really you, know obviously you're
thinking you want to get as much as you, can
and when he went to change hands with the, football
it came, out.
Speaker 3 (02:55:30):
And so now you're down to two sixteen left to.
Play arisburg takes over at their own twenty five yard.
Line mcdebit with two timeouts, left just an unfortunate series
Air sebastian making the great throw that was dropped in
the end. Zone unfortunately would have been wiped away by
(02:55:52):
a penalty, anyway and now another completion for a first
down and mcdebit fumbles the. Ball balls is a twenty
five yard line and now mcdebit cannot allow first. Down
it's as simple as. That you can stop it twice
(02:56:13):
and Then harrisburg will run one play to eat up some,
clock one wide out to the far. Side cougar's will
run this up the. Middle it's a first down and
more up to the thirty eight yard, line and that
will make things extremely difficult on vision. Mcdebitt so a
(02:56:36):
nice run by The cougars to pick up the first
down and more up to the thirty eight yard. Line
and now mcdebitt just forced to watch some of that
clock tick down here before they start calling. Timeouts minute
(02:57:00):
forty four left to, play and The cougar is in
no hurry, here so they'll run a play and then
mcdeviit will start using the. Timeouts still a small shot
here for The, crusaders but you got to get a
stop and now officials stop play here for, something AND
(02:57:23):
i Think harrisburg's. FRUSTRATED i think this is going to
be a penalty against The. Cougars this we'll bring it
back to the thirty four yard.
Speaker 4 (02:57:30):
Line turnover is proving to be the downfall today for,
mcdebit and they've had a host and you just cannot
have that against one of the better teams in the
state and certainly one of the maybe the best team
on your.
Speaker 3 (02:57:44):
Schedule turnovers and some very costly penalties and some missed
opportunities again For bision mcdebbit this, week things that they
can clean. Up BUT i mean you're gonna walk out
of this game Realizing bishop McDevitt's a really good football.
(02:58:05):
Team harrisburg will run this one of the outside And
crusaders had a shot to make an ankle tackle in the.
Backfield now The harrisburg running backers out of, bounds but
he did pick up good yordage that would.
Speaker 4 (02:58:19):
At least save a first down for The crusaders minute
twenty five, left but they had the two timeouts or
just Want i'm.
Speaker 3 (02:58:27):
Sorry so it should be a, second second down here
with a minute twenty five, left and mcdebitt should have two,
timeouts so if they don't give up the first, down
McDevitt's it's. Possible but This harrisburg offense is really tough to,
stop so we'll see if they can get a. Stop
harrisburg will run, it and This tom mcdebit gets in
(02:58:48):
the backfield and knocks them down. QUICKLY i think that WAS. R. J.
Duffy and Now harrisburg's on a face a third down
and about six or seven minute twenty one. Left mcdebitt
will have a time out left to stop the clock
and might get one more possession, here so we'll see what.
Happens our player of the game coming up in the postgame,

(02:59:42):
left to play in this, game and obviously mcdebitt with
some key injuries.
Speaker 4 (02:59:49):
Here, yeah not having swoops those Her Jones davis swoops
in the second half is really. Hurt but they've had.
Opportunities they've had, opportunities had opportunities to make.
Speaker 3 (03:00:04):
Plays so minute twenty one left, here and obviously this
is the play of the. Game harris mcdebit can get
the ball, back still a, chance they'll have some time
to work with. Here harrisburg has it too wide out
(03:00:25):
to the near, side one to the far and The
cougars will run this thing to the near. Side mcdebit
shuts it. Down so The crusaders are going to get
the ball back here as they take their final time,
out minute fourteen left to, play And harrisburg will have
to punt this.
Speaker 4 (03:00:41):
Thing you're assuming that, Art, yeah they might choose to
run a play from. Here they think that they wouldn't
take the. Risk they've given mcdebit the ball this field.
Position at the same, time there's always lots of things
can go on with kicking game. Art they had, snaps
(03:01:03):
fumbled snaps and so on and so.
Speaker 3 (03:01:05):
Forth but mcdebit football brought to you By Constellation, energy producing,
clean reliable, energy empowering new opportunities for families and communities
across Central. Pennsylvania we bring the, energy so bish mcdebit
down twenty nine to twenty, one minute fourteen left to.
Play If harrisburg does indeed punt, This crusaders will get it.
(03:01:28):
Back they'll have no timeouts left in a minute, fourteen
well probably like a minute ten or something like. That
harrisburg comes back onto the. Field harrisburg going right to
left from the home side of things here At Severnce.
(03:01:49):
Field they lead twenty nine to twenty. One harrisburg wind
up like they're going to go for, it as they
have three wide outs and the near side two to
the far mcdebit threatens the. Blitz see if they're just
trying to draw mcdebit off here to make it more,
manageable or what are they doing?
Speaker 1 (03:02:07):
Here?
Speaker 4 (03:02:11):
Now we did draw them, off BUT i didn't see
him come across the line of scrimmy. Jaw i'll have
to see it again if They hopefully we'll get a
replay on.
Speaker 3 (03:02:19):
This so it's still not enough for the first, town but.
Speaker 4 (03:02:27):
Obvious see a lot shorter went from fourth and nine
to fourth and. Four let me see if we can
see the replay here.
Speaker 3 (03:02:36):
Three white outs to the near side For harrisburg and
two to the far and now they we'll just quick
kick this thing down the field and it goes out of,
bounds well thought it. Did now stays in bounds and
rolls inside the twenty down to the, nineteen and they
blow it. Dead so mcdebitt needs to go eighty one
(03:02:57):
yards in a minute four with no timeouts, left and
that's pretty much along and short of, it and then
they would need to convert a two point conversion to
get this thing to. Overtime you got any crusader magic
in the, Tank, marty this is the time to get it.
OUT a lot of positives For bishop mcdebitt in this
(03:03:19):
football game the. DAY i, mean they've, battled they've hung right,
there and just a couple just some mistakes again here and,
there you can't make against a team Like, harrisburg And
harrisburg playing on her home, field certainly got their share
of some breaks to the quick pass to the, outside
and this one has dropped and a late shot on
(03:03:44):
the mcdebit receiver there just left. Go so fifty nine
seconds left to, play it'll be second down and ten
from the Nineteen forsaders break cuddle here, Now sebastian in,
(03:04:07):
There he's got one white out to the far side
Where East barnes to his right swoops out of the.
Game sebastian back to pass under, pressure tries to dump
one off as he's hit from, behind and it'll be.
Incomplete and, Mcdebitt, now if a third down and ten
from the nineteen yard, line fifty four seconds left to, PLAY.
Speaker 4 (03:04:36):
I think at this Point i'm wanting to take a
haven't thrown across the middle. MUCH i know it's dangerous
at this point in, Time i'm willing to sacrifice that,
here just maybe taking a shot over the middle of
fifteen twenty yards down the. Field if he can give
him enough time to.
Speaker 3 (03:04:54):
Throw, yeah you gotta pick up some big change here
at some point. Here, now if only fifty four seconds,
Left sebastian dumps one quickly to the, outside and shocking,
fashion a penalty flag comes in as they tried to
dump that one out off To.
Speaker 4 (03:05:11):
LaRue, YEAH i was gonna, SAY i thought this was
going to be a procedure on mcdebit for not being.
Speaker 3 (03:05:20):
Set So i'll make it third down and fifteen back
at the fourteen for, mcdebit fifty two seconds, left and
you have to Give sebastian some time here and see
if he can put one down the field at least
to get this thing back to midfield and make it
a little bit more reasonable to make a. Play that
(03:05:43):
clock is eroding quickly for. Mcdebit crusaders break huddle here
now with three wide outs to the near, side one
to the. Far sebastian surveying the. Defense some instructions being
(03:06:05):
barked out there by one of mcdabit's. Linemen Here sebastian
waits in the shotgun back to. Pass here comes the.
Pressure sebastian running for his. Life now he has time
a little. Bit fires one down the, field and this
one is complete up to the twenty eight yard, line
short of the first, down so the clock will continue to.
(03:06:28):
Tick so mcdebit's on the guy they get spike the
ball because it's gonna be fourth. Down got to pick
something up quick, here clock, down the twenty eight seconds.
Left sebastian back to, pass dumps one quickly to the.
Outside mcdeviitd will have the first, DOWN i believe up
to the thirty and. Again laundry on the field and
(03:06:53):
it will be Against bishop mcdebit again, Probably so twenty
seconds left to. Play mcdebit's down twenty nine to twenty,
one and uh mcdeviitt had a fourth and three there
(03:07:19):
it looked like they had, it but another penalty flag
came flying.
Speaker 15 (03:07:22):
In M.
Speaker 4 (03:07:26):
I'm not looking For we didn't see the referee come
over and give a.
Speaker 3 (03:07:30):
Call now they start the, clock, yeah well it was,
yeah it was a running play and mcdeviit the clock will,
run wasn't ready for the clock to, start so they
were down to six seconds. Left sebastian fires went down the.
Field this one's caught at the forty he'll run out
of bounds and that's going to be the end of the.
(03:07:51):
Game mcdebitt ran out of tom as he was able
to hit gauge down around the forty yard line and
that will be. It so bision mcdebait it falls here
At Severance field here today twenty nine to twenty, one
and it was every bit the battle we expected it to.
Be frustration for mcdevid as it. Was the opportunities were
(03:08:12):

All, Right welcome back to The Fox sports fourteen sixty,
Studios Art selby And Marty. Bowman, Here bishop mcdebit falls
twenty nine to twenty one At severance fieldover In, harrisburg
and The crusaders gave. It they're all just too many
mistakes penalty wise and turnover wise in this, game and
they just were not able to beat obviously a very
(03:10:04):
Talented Harrisburg cougar's. Team bish and mcdebit in this game
won't go through all the details of. It crusaders were
in this game down sixteen to fourteen and had the,
ball had an opportunity to go for it on fourth
down and. Two if about a minute and a half
left or so at the end of the second quarter
elected the punt and Then harrisburg would really break their
(03:10:25):
hearts and go down and. Score if nine seconds left
and a Half cougar's were up twenty two, Fourteen crusaders
would get the ball to start the third, quarter throw an,
interception but the d would get it, back mcdebbitt would
go in and get the touchdown and just elect to
kick the extra. Point trailed twenty two to twenty. ONE
a lot of the second half had some opportunities and
(03:10:46):
then The Cougars cougar's actually had a third down and
twenty seven at one point and were able to come
back and then. Convert they had a fourth down and
seven got mcdebit to jump and then converted a beautiful
pass down the middle of the, field maybe more of
a hell married a kok who just went up and got.
It put The cougars in scoring. Position they would get
(03:11:06):
the touchdown and then mcdebitt would get the ball back
twice here towards the end of the game and just
could not come up with the big. Play AS i,
mentioned just some more costly mistakes today For bishop. Mcdebit
not a lot of breaks go on their way today, either,
unfortunately and that's just how it goes. Sometimes and The

game show here At Fox sports fourteen. Sixty The Crusader's
fall today twenty nine to twenty one The Harrisburg so
the defending state champs start off the year zero to
two against. Two really difficult, teams and they played a
lot better this week than they did last. Week BUT i, Honestly,
(03:13:01):
marty next week they Play chambersburg over At rocker attends
to your. Stadium AND i Mean bishop mcdebitt as long
as some of the, injuries you, know injury to swoops or,
whatever these aren't too, serious you have to feel mcdebitt
will not be challenged until you know state. COLLEGE i,
mean you have to take every week one game at a,
time but you have to feel Like bishop mcdeviitt and
(03:13:21):
you know a good position to still have a great run.
Here AND i mean the ultimate goal is to win
districts in that state. Championship and, mcdebitt despite these two,
losses showed a really good football team here. Today.
Speaker 4 (03:13:32):
Yeah, no no moral victories as they, say how about
an improvement. Loss it was a, loss but showed. Improvement
a couple of the breaks or guys trying to make,
plays trying to get extra. Yardage, unfortunately both of those
players had first downs that, fumbled And i'm talking about
they both had first, downs but you're trying to, make you,
(03:13:52):
know get yardage and make a, play and in trying
to get extra. Yardage two. Fumbles the last, one of,
course was it was the, dagger if you, will for
The harrisburg defense on that fumble and our receiver was
changing hands with the ball and it came flying. Out, improvement,
improvement lots of things to, do turnovers to clean, up
(03:14:16):
penalties to clean. Up not every penalty here is just
an official throw in a. Flag so there's penalties to clean,
up some jumping off, side some. Procedures things they got
to clean up. THERE i thought the young Quarterback Sebastian
williams showed some savvy in, there and you know a
couple of times coming out of the pocket throwing a
(03:14:37):
ball on the run and putting a lot on the
ball with. That but, yeah some work to be done.
Speaker 3 (03:14:42):
Yet art all, right we'll take one more break and
then when we, return we'll come back with our player
of the, game brought to you By Game Day Mental.

Speaker 3 (03:16:02):
Sixty all, right attack here in The Fox sports fourteen
sixty studios for the final. Time HERE todaysi mcdebit falls
twenty nine twenty one to The Harrisburg, cougars and it
is time For bish and Mcdebit player of The game
and there's The crusaders fall here today twenty nine to twenty,
one brought to you By Game Day Men's, health defining
(03:16:24):
a new era in men's. Health so mcdebit falls for
the second straight. TIME i, mean we're obviously not used
to picking guys on the other. TEAM i would say,
So I'M i will give a mcdebit player the game
and A harrisburg player of the game. Today since The
cougar's won this, one we'll we'll give it To Elia's
coke on The harrisburg, side just some of the just
(03:16:46):
tough catches that he was able to go up and
make in traffic and again that the catch really when
they were up twenty two to twenty one on the
fourth down catch down the middle where he just made
an unbelievable. Catch he's he's one of those guys that
looks like he could be played On sunday with the
way he's able to bring it in makes he makes
difficult catches look.
Speaker 4 (03:17:04):
Easy, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (03:17:05):
Absolutely and on the mcdevid's, Side i'm going to give
it To Sebastian. Williams you, know he had the big
run on the third and eight earlier in the. Game
he had some big passes late in the. GAME i,
mean he threw basically the game tying touchdown pass that was,
dropped even though it was a race by, PENALTY i
know perfectly throwing ball rolling out of the. Pocket threw
another pass down the field late in the game that
(03:17:25):
was fumbled that would have been a first. Down SO
i mean those are passes THAT i. Mean sebastian did
a nice job of getting the ball down the, field
and you can't as a. Quarterback you can't really deal
with the results after what happens after he threw the.
Passes SO i thought he played a really good game
and really picked his game up this week and was really.
Speaker 4 (03:17:42):
Good, yeah to your, POINT i mean the second half
did not lose his, composure and he was under a
lot of, rush especially that fourth quarter through the pick
early that was in the, coverage but also a great
play by The cougar defender on that to step in
front of our. Receiver but, NO I i see where
you're coming from on that. Art sebastian did not lose his,
(03:18:04):
composure had some nice passes on the run and, YEAH
i can't, disagree.
Speaker 3 (03:18:09):
And swoops in this game before he got. HURT i,
mean he was on his way to being the player
of the game for mcdevid fourteen rushes seventy one, yards
but only had two carries in the second. Half crusaders
rushed for one hundred and thirty five yards on thirty,
carries And sebastian his numbers were twelve of sixteen for
one hundred and thirty one. Yards but you could have
stacked on a lot more yard to do that with
(03:18:30):
some of the passes down the field that were dropped
or bumbled or.
Speaker 4 (03:18:33):
Whatever and even in the rushing situations in that art
he didn't throw into a lot of. Danger, yeah he
did not throw into a lot of coverage or danger
in That so, yeah a good pick on.
Speaker 3 (03:18:44):
Your, part and a lot of other players that definitely
did step. Up And Maurice BARNES i thought played a good. GAME.
Rj duffy was in there. Again the line did a
pretty good job again. Today so just a tough loss for,
mcdebitt but another. ONE a lot to build on from this,
one And i'm sure though they have a lot of
positives that will come out of. This you definitely leave
this week with a better taste in your, MOUTH i
(03:19:05):
think than what we did last week down At.
Speaker 4 (03:19:07):
York you learn more from your losses than you do
from your, wins aren't all?
Speaker 3 (03:19:11):
Right so that's going to do. It So marty AND
i will be back Next friday night as The crusaders
play their first regular season game At Rock Rotendio. Stadium
they'll celebrate the state. CHAMPIONSHIP i know we're down right,
now But biston mcdeviitt has won two of the last
three state, titles and this team has really. Loaded it's
still going to do a lot of great things this,
year AND i would not bet against this team winning
(03:19:31):
another state. Championship so they'll get some things cleaned. Up
great coaching staff and a lot of talent on this,
team and hopefully they can get the injuries hild up
and get ready for Next friday night Against.
Speaker 4 (03:19:41):
Chambersburg art, question are we planning on being on site
next week or we're going to be cooped up here
in this.
Speaker 3 (03:19:47):
STUDIO i would bet on that we'll be up in
the press box at mcdebitt and hopefully we don't have
too many more scenarios like this week take. Place all,
Right we'll leave it at. That that's going to do.
It devid falls twenty nine to twenty. ONE i want
to Thank Coach wector And rob mcgleasee as well for
