Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's now time for kickoff.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
They have done it two out of the last three years.
The Crusaders pour out onto the field. There the twenty
twenty four PIAA five A.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
State champions Cruz Sader Football is brought to you by
Constellation Energy, Tim Decker of Green Spring Advisors and Select
Physical Therapy. Now, let's head out to the field with
your game announcers Art Selby, Rob Buglise and Marty Bowman.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
All right, welcome back to Brush Stadium here at Warwick
High School. We're just about ready for Bisho mcdebit football.
It's a District three five eight championship game between Bishop
mcdebit and the Slonku Golden Mules. Bish mcdebitt ready to
kick off, going left to right from the home press
box side of things. Here and here is Gorilla's kick.
This one will be deep and this one will sail

(00:51):
into the end zone for a touchback. And that's what
we love to see from Aiden Grella as the Golden
Mules will come out and start off at the twenty
yard line.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
And one thing he didn't get to highlight here off
the top part was two great kickers tonight. Soelanco Tristan Brown,
who's also a defensive back, huge leg I was watching
him during warm ups. He has fifty four touchbacks this season,
and of course Aiden Gerrella, despite missing a few weeks,
there had now thirty one touchbacks on the season. So

(01:20):
mcdebit usually ends up with great field position thanks to him.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
So we kicked off a little early tonight. Kickoff at
six fifty seven tonight, as I will see this triple
option offense here from the Gold Mules is a good
right to left from the home side of things here
in this District three to five eight championship game, they'll
start with a run off the right side and they
go ahead for about six yards on that one, So

(01:46):
they'll pick up six webs second down and four for
the Gold Mules right off the bat.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Yeah, Quarterback Chase Sinsinig keeps it on the first play. R. J.
Duffy met him pretty quickly, but Sinsinig showing some strength there,
sir and forward to get an additional three yards after
the initial contact from Duffy.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Sensing a under center this time, he's got one white
out to each side of the field. Now he barks
out some orders to all those players goes under center.
Now takes the snap and again he'll keep it, takes
it up the middle. Penalty flag comes flying and I
think he was real close to the first down mark
or we'll see what the flag is.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
R J.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Duffy again on the stop, he faked it to the
full back. Maybe a face mask. I don't know if
it was from Duffy, but there was another Crusader defender
on the bottom of the pile that came in. I
don't know. I really couldn't see, but it was a
face mask.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
They do call it against Mcdebit should mention vision mcdebit
tonight in the dark blue jerseys with the white numbers,
gold pants, gold helmets, and the gold Mules come in
with the white jerseys, black pants with the gold trim
and the black helmets. So they'll move this one fifteen
yards down the field and that's a big penalty on
the opening drive here to benefit the Golden Mules offense.

(03:06):
So here come the Mules. I'll have two white outs
to the far side. This time, one of the near
I'll bring a man in motion. Censennig rolls to the right,
fires one down the field. He's got a man at
the forty two yard line. That's Burgos and another first
down for the Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
You're just a quick fake fake to toss, nice rhythm
throw there for Sensinnig and Burgos leaked out on a
short route and they pick up twelve. So you know,
a nice crisp drive starting off the penalty, as you mentioned,
hurts mcdevin and that's one thing against an option team.

(03:44):
You don't want to give him any help.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Sensinig under center, he'll pitch this when the outside the Burgos,
and Burgos goes down the sideline and he is gone
for a touchdown forty three yards and the Golden Mules
go up six nothing. I'm minute twenty three into the game.

Speaker 4 (04:04):
We saw sensinigle in those first couple plays kind of
fake the dive to the full back and keep it,
you know. Then they came back with a quick play
action pass and that's the first time we saw them
go to the pitch, and we talked about the importance
of assignment football. Really Art there was no one there.
There was no one there on Burgos. He as soon

(04:26):
as he got the pitch, he had nothing but the
sideline in front of him.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Brown I no attempt the extra point for the Golden
Mules and the kick is up and good. So just
like that, so Lanko goes up seven to nothing over
Bishop mcdebit would take a break. You're listening to Bisha
mcdebit football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
The electricity on a football field. This is Mission mcdebit
football on Fun Sports fourteen sixties.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
But we didn't have time to get to the Green
Spring Advisors winning game plan there in the pregame show.
And one of the things I was going to say
is it would be good for mcdebit to get the
lead right off the bat, and unfortunately that's not going
to be the case here is that Chris Burgos takes
it to the house forty three yards out and the
Golden Muse lead mcdebit seven to nothing, ten thirty seven
left to play here in the first quarter, just getting started.

(05:45):
And now we'll see this mcdebit offense and see how
they respond here.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
And one thing, you know, meant to mention again this
Tristan Brown usually putting the ball on the ends with
mcdebit is used to having great field position obviously with
Ish Palmer Jerome LaRue, and even when people kick it short,
the upbacks are dangerous. But this guy's probably gonna put
it in the end zone.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And here's Brown's kick, and that's exactly what happens. Is
it'll go about five yards deep into the end zone.
Ish was back there to catch it, but a touchback.
And now we'll see the Crusader's offense come onto the field,
starting out the twenty yard line as we'll go left
or right from the home side of things here at
Warwick High School.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Yeah, not something that mcdebit really has to do very often.
As we mentioned, you know, they're typically getting either a
big kickoff return or teams are swibbing it or kicking
it short, resulting in them getting the ball at they're
on forty forty five midfield or better, so Soilanco has
one edge there in terms of the field position.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
Battle two white outs to the near side, one of
the far from mcdebit to Bash and we'll give this
to Swoops, and Swoops goes up the middle. Not much
maybe a yard two at the most. We'll be second
down on a long eighth for Vision mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
David, you a nice job by the the Soelanco front
there winning at the point of attack. Not not much
room for Swoops, but he just seurges for three yards.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Here come the Crusaders. It'll be John take quick and
gage Ruth out here on the near side for Bishop mcdebitt,
Sebastian waits a snat, fakes the handoff, fires, went over
the middle and what up and is John take quick
forty thirty five thirty still going cuts outside twenty five,
twenty fifteen, Darren touch Darren, Bishop mcdebbittt seventy eight yards

(07:37):
and the Crusaders answer back just like that. It's seven
to six. Selanko.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Beautiful fake by Sebastian Williams on the run pass option,
John take Quick with streaking free down the middle of
the field. Hit him perfectly. And what an effort from
Howard Holton's junior number two, a wide receiver getting down
field throwing some blocks. One thing coach Wectory has always preached.
If you're gonna play wide receiver, Bish mcdebbit, you got
to be a good blocker. This group does that. You

(08:04):
see it there, huge play for Quick, nice through by Sebastian.
Nice block there from Howard.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Grella on a tempt the extra point, Reinhart the holder
for Bisha mcdebbit, and the kick is up and it
still squeaks through. I think. I don't know if someone
got a piece of it or not. I think so.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Shades of the state championship winning kick there for Grello
where Selanco did bust through and got a big piece
of that kick, but he had enough leg on it
that it made it over the crossbar. So I don't know.
Ord I wasn't expected at any point tonight we would
see two touchdowns in a span of less than a minute.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
But here we are all right, We'll keep things here.
It's the score tied at seven, nine to fifty left
to play first quarter. Bish mcdebit football brought to you
by Tim Decker Green Spring Advisors attentive advocacy of their
clients come first. Always check out their website at GreenSpring
Advisors dot com and remember to listen to Financial Freedom
with Tim Decker every Saturday morning at ten on our

(09:04):
sister station news radio WHP five to eighty. And green
Spring Advisors is if he only registered investment advisor with
the SEC. All right, so here we go. Two possessions
in this game and two touchdowns. Grella will kick off
again here for Bish mcdeviitt, going left right from the
home side of things here at Warwick High School, home

(09:24):
of the Warriors Rush Stadium here, and here's Grella's kick.
Two men back deep and this one is shorter. It
will be returnable, taking it about the seven yard line.
They bring it back to the ten of the fifteen
to the twenty and the mcdebitt's special teams coverage, which
has been solid all year, is solid again here as
they limit the kick return back to about the twenty

(09:45):
yard line.

Speaker 4 (09:46):
And that was number ten. The senior defensive back Carlos
Smith making the play. He's been a stalwart all year
on special teams.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
Burgos on that kick return for a Solanco. Of course,
he had the touchdown this game for the Gold Mules.
All right, we'll see what happens here on the second
possession of the night for Solanko. Their coach comes out
here as a wide receiver on the near side. They
have one wide out on the other side. Cincinig under center,
Sin Sinnig surveys at mcdevit defense and he's going to

(10:17):
keep it himself and mcdebit does a nice job this time.
Is he only picks up about two or three on
that carry.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
You have Maurice Barnes who has the assignment there of
the quarterback stayed home, came up, made the play as
we usually see us from Maurice, and just a short
gain of two.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
So it'll be second down and eight for the Gold Mules.
As they come up to the line of scrimmage here,
Cincinig under center has one wide out on each side
of the field, but they keep things tight. Now Sinsinig
will hand this one off up the middle and again
mcdevit defends it well. This time they get about two

(10:58):
yards on the carry that time, but they're gonna of
a third and long coming up.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
A RJ. Duffy was strong at the point of attack,
and also some help from the sophomore defensive ends to
Ron Dennis, who had a really good game last week
against Exeter.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
So it'll be third down and scoreboard has it at eight.
I don't think it's quite that long.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yes, now it looks more like third and four or so.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
One white out to each side of the field for
the Golden Mules there coach had here and one white
out in the fore side. Censennig under center and they
will Sensinig keeps it himself, takes it ahead for the
first down up to the thirty seven yard line.

Speaker 4 (11:41):
And there you see the difficulty with defending this offense
if you're not accustomed to it. You know, they went
after the fullback. They tackled Garcia Sensennig at the very
last second looked like he might pitch it. He kept
it and Tyler Reinhardt came flying up, but it was
not in time, of course, he was already past the stick.
So really nice surge there to cross the thirty five

(12:02):
picked up almost ten yards.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
Two whiteouts this time to the near side for the
Gold Mules, sending the under center again again they bring
that man in motion and they will run this one
up the middle and spinning up the middle for about
four yards this time. As the gold Mules do pick
up four it'll be second down and six.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
And again that combination of Tron Dennis and RJ. Duffy
in the middle of that pile. But this is soilanco.
This is what they want to do. If they're picking
up four yards on first down, they are right on time.
They can keep doing this. They can control the ball.
It's a perfect recipe for them.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
They went white out to each side of the field.
They did bring a man in motion and then kind
of stopped. Now again they will pitch this when in
the backfield, and this time mcdeba gets in there and
makes a stop for a loss. It'll be third down
and long for the gold Mules.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
And that was number one a Kielan Smith coming up
there from his strong safety spot who's playing closer to
the line of course against this offense, almost like another linebacker.
And Akilan read that and hit the pitch man and
mcdebit's first tackle for loss.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
This evening, so third down in about seven. It looks
like from here for the Gold Mules offense, since the
nig under center is where mcdebitt wants to have him,
third and long, Sin Sinnig barks out some orders to
all his teammates, goes under center now and they will
hand this one off up the middle, and another first

(13:36):
down for the Gold Mules all the way into mcdebit's
territory up to the forty nine yard line.

Speaker 4 (13:42):
That was the full back Garcia, their main man, and
you saw his power right there. It didn't look like
a huge hole, but he ran through there with authority.
And when you're relying on your defensive backs to come
up and make a tackle on a full back, you
know you're not winning the battle.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
There six twenty left to play first quarter, mcdebitt and
Solanko tied at seven, and the Gold Mules come up
to the line of scrimmage here again, once more sensitive
under center. He does have one white out on the
far side. Burgos goes in motion, Censinig's gonna fire one
down the field and overthrows his man. Good coverage for

(14:20):
mcdebit down the field there that time, so it'll be
second down and ten.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, that was Austin Mack on the coverage there against
Eric Cook.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
So false. He's at the forty nine yard line, clock
stop six or three left to play. First quarter, Golden Mules,
brey Cuddle just now come up to the line, tol
tone is the white out on the far side over
there and catch on the near side. Sense it in
under center. Burgos moves and now.

Speaker 4 (14:55):
Off sides to Ron Dennis jumped there. And that was
something that it practiced this week that mcdeviit. You know,
the defensive staff really drilled that this is what's gonna happen.
They're gonna try, They're gonna do this exact thing, and
they worked on, you know, not jumping off course watching
the football and there to Ron Dennis did not do

(15:17):
that and that costs you five yards and puts them
in a second and five, which again is right where
they want to be, right on, right on time with
this offense.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Since it in under center, Burgos lines up to the
left out here as well with Kutch, Burgos goes in motion.
Now will run this one actually since and it kept
it himself, takes it up the middle. He's gonna be
close to the first down, a lot of pushing and shoving.
They'll spot it. It looks like just just inside the forty.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
And one thing we've seen here in the first quarter.
You know, sens an egg very strong runner as a quarterback.
You know a lot of option quarterbacks are used to quick, fast,
you know, guys that kind of can make you miss.
But he's he takes the first hit and each time
he's he's gained more yards after contact, and several times

(16:11):
he's gained big yards after contact.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
And they were running this one up the middle and
mcdebit gets in there and makes a big stop. Now
penalty flag comes flying in way after the play. So
mcdebit got in there and made the stop, knocked him
back for a loss, and then a flag comes flying out.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
Yeah, I don't, I don't know about that. I mean,
I really don't, really don't really don't agree with that one.
I'll just leave it at that.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
And if it's unsports malake, I mean, again, this is
one of the things I butt heads with Marty in
every week. I mean, it's football. Kids are playing with emotion.
You make a big stop. I don't know what was
said because we're not down there, and apparently it is
against mcdebit, and it's gonna be fifteen yards and take

(17:04):
the ball the way down to the twenty five yard
line at least twenty six.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
Yeah, it would have been it would have been another
tackle for loss. I mean, I guess it was a
tackle for loss. But then the fifteen yards after the
play keeps this drive alive. So so Lanko started their
twenty one This will be the tenth play the drive
coming up here from the Crusader twenty six.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
One wide out to each side of the field since
an egga under center. Wait, now it looked like mcdbit
might have jumped off sides again there.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Yeah, they're just totally becoming they're totally unraveled here on
this drive. This is exactly what they talked about not doing.
And now they've jumped off sides twice in a span
of what five plays or so here. So you give
a team first and five four down territory for them,
it's gonna be gonna be very difficult to get a

(18:00):
stop here.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
So the ball comes down to the mcdebit twenty one
yard line and as Rob said, a first down in
five Here come the gold Mules offense, toll tune out
on the fore side and catch on the near side.
Again Sensinnig under center. Burgos goes in motion. They pitch
it to him. He's got the corner on the outside,

(18:25):
cuts back towards the middle, dives towards the end zone
and is in I believe for a touchdown for the
Golden Mules, and they go up thirteen to seven, with
four thirty seven left to play. Here in the first quarter.

Speaker 4 (18:37):
There you saw mcdebitt with a run blitz. Zach Brown
shot the gap and hit Sensinnigg, but just as he
was hitting him, sensing he got the pitch off to
Burgos on the outside, and with that run blitz on
the inside, there was again a lot of green turf
for him down the sideline and.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
On to attempt the extra point. Again is Brown frustrating
drive for the mcdebit defense. At that time his crusaders
once again trail. He was Brown to kick it's up
and plenty good. So four thirty seven left to play
in the first quarter, will take another break vision mcdebit
trails now fourteen to seven. You're listening to Visha mcdebit

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Com, the game everyone circles on the schedule. This is
Bishop mcdebit football on Fox. It's fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
All right, Welcome back to Brush Stadium here at Warwick
High School, Art selby, Rob mcglease, Eli Fessler back in
the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios as mcdebitt now trails
again fourteen to seven, Chris Burgos with a twenty one
yard touchdown run for the Golden Mules is they will
now kick off. Kristan Brown kicks off going right to
left from the home side of things here, and here's

(20:28):
Brown's kick another bullet. This one will sail well into
the end zone for a touchback, and again mcdebitt will
take over from the twenty yard line with a long
field to work with. This is some frustrating off sides
penalties for McDevitt and the big one there obviously that

(20:50):
unsportsmanlike conduct after a stop in the backfield would have
been fourth down in two or three.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Yeah, if it would have been a fourth and two, Here.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
Come the Crusaders. It's like Gage, Ruth and John take
quick out on the near side. Debit down fourteen to seven,
now four thirty seven left to play, first quarter, Sebastian
shockunformation and mc debitt will run this one with Swoops
on the near side. Swoops has got the thirty cuts

(21:20):
outside and they try and spin amount of bounds over here,
but Swoops picks up good yards up to the thirty
eight yard line.

Speaker 4 (21:29):
Yeah, nothing fancy about that. Just what we've seen from
this offensive line now most of the years, they've really
rounded into forms. Power run off the right side and
Jones Davis obviously very strong likes to get the cutout
side and he does there and picks up eighteen yards.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Ruth and quick out on the far side. This time
it's Holton Junior on the near side, Sebastian shockunformation. He's
got Swoops in the backfield. Jack Dawson goes in motion
and they will hand this one off. The Swoops tries
the left side. Then it didn't look like there was
going to be much there, but scoots ahead for about
six or seven on the carry. It'll be second down
and three for mcdebitt, maybe four.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
No, And that's you know, we see that every week
from him. I mean a lot of times there are
big holes. But even if there's not, if there's just
a little bit of an opening what should be for
most running backs a two yard gain, Swoops is going
to turn it into a six yard gain like he
did right there.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Let's see that mcdebit defense here on the near side.
Some discussions down here what they're going to do in
the next possession. Here comes the offense on second and
four from the forty four two white outs to the
near side one of the farm. Mcdebitt now has two
becks in the backfield with Sebastian as time fires one
deep down the field looking for his man and this

(22:46):
one is incomplete inside the ten yard line, just a
little bit out of the reach. Thinks that one was
intended for Holton Junior.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
It was, and Howard Holton Jr. Is down on the
field grabbing at his ankle.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Well, was just overthrown just a little bit as Holton
Junior tried to catch up to that one, and unfortunately
he is down as Rob mentioned. Stay tuned tonight and

sideline with a little help. So mcdebitt, now, if at

(24:27):
third down and four, two white outs to the near side,
one to the far and the Crusaders are going to
run this one with swoops, He's got the first down
up over the fifty, gets down to the forty six
yard line and first down in ten vision, mcdebitt see
a nice.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Job again by the right side of the offensive line
there with Jakai Logan, Andre Mayna sealed the edge for
swoops and he picked up nine yards and they're moving
this change.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
Here, big first down for mcdeviitt's early didn't want to
turn the ble all over there. Crusaders have it here,
first down in ten at the forty seven yard line.
Two wet outs of the first side, one of the
near Sebastian will hand this one off to LaRue. LaRue
on the left side has some room up the middle,
turns on. The Jets turn five, touchdown Bishop McDevitt forty

(25:18):
seven yards and the Crusaders answer back again just like that.
It's fourteen thirteen, Solanko.

Speaker 4 (25:25):
They came back to the left side that time, and
Jerome LaRue Jr. As you said, all right, just doesn't
need a lot, doesn't need much of a hole. And
when he shifts into his next gear, his next gear
is much faster than everybody else on the field, and
he does it so quickly that you know once he
once he broke the line of scrimmage, you could see
right away that was going to be a touchdown, all right.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Grella, I attempt the extra point. They got a hand
on it last time. Ryan hurt the holder, and the
kick is up and it is plenty good, and that
ties the game at fourteen. A lot of actions so
far here with three oh seven left to play here
in the first quarter, discover the paraphysical therapy with Select

So neither team has been able to stop each other
so far. As the Golden Mules would score a minute
twenty three into the game on a Chris Burger's forty
three yard touchdown run to make it seven, zib mcdebitt

(26:32):
would answer back a seventy eight yard touchdown pass from
Sebastian Williams to John tay Quick would tie the game.
A long drive by the gold Mules, aided by a
lot of mcdebit penalties, set up at Chris Burger's twenty
one yard touchdown run, and they were back up fourteen
to seven, and a minute and a half later, mcdebit back
on the scoreboard as a LaRue with a forty seven
yard touchdown run to tie the game at fourteen with

(26:55):
three oh seven left to play. Here in the first quarter,
we'll see what adjustments the McDevitt defense can come up with.
It's got to be patient here, no reason to panic.
So Grella will kick off going left to right from
the home side of the field here at Warwick High School.

(27:17):
You mentioned just a beautiful facility, great crowd here tonight.
On both sides of the field. Two men back deep
for the Golden Mules, and here's Aiden Grell's kick. This
one is high and this one we'll sail into the
end zone for a touchback, as that one took off
pretty deep into the end zone, and I believe that's

(27:38):
his second touch back of the game. And now we'll
see what the mcdebit defense can come up with here
against this Golden Mules offense.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
It's been very impressive, you know, Like we talked about
off the top, the different threats that Selanco has. And
the interesting thing is the guy that had the gaudiest
numbers come in was the full back Garcia. And we
talked about mcdevia with Logan and Thompson really being tough
up the middle. So Solanko has really hurt McDavid on
the edges with Burgos, with cens andigg you know, making

(28:09):
initial yardage after getting hit Burgos twice on the pitch
getting loose. So we'll see what happens here. On the
third drive.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
They'll bring one wide out to each side of the field,
this time three uh seven left to play. First quarter,
fourteen to fourteen. Sinsinnigg under center and he'll keep it himself.
Comes on the near side and tackled from behind, but
not before he picks up about seven. Look like Zach

(28:40):
Brown was in there on the tackle.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
Yeah, Zach Brown was the first man there. And Tyler
Reinhard coming up as well. But another real big game
on first down for cens and Egg.

Speaker 2 (28:54):
So it'll be second down and two for the gold
Mules and they break huddle just now and catch out
here again is the white out on the near side,
and tole tone out on the far side, Sensinig under center.

(29:15):
Burgos goes in motion and Senseneg will keep it himself.
And this time mc debicate's in there. RJ Duffy says
happy thanksgiving to him as he knocks him back.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
The RJ read that perfectly shot through the hole and
drove Sensinig back. I think he got a pretty favorable
spot there. I think he had and met him right
at the line. But it's going to be a third
and one.

Speaker 2 (29:44):
Third and one minute fifty left to play, first quarter,
fourteen fourteen tie again. They bring one white out to
each side of the field, and Censene goes under center.
Each time they run Burgos in motion and he goes
in motion. And they'll run this one up the middle,
and this time it's Garcia bumbles on the ground and
I think mcdebitt came up with it and they did.

(30:06):
What a huge play early on in this game.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Tyler Reinhart was one of the guys on the hit
and Campbell Mills number fourteen, the senior linebacker, pounced on it.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
That's one way to slow him down. A huge turnover here,
and mcdebitt can possibly take the lead and Crusaders will
have it at the thirty eight yard line going left
or right from the home side of the things here
at Brush Stadium. So a huge play for Bishop mcdebit

(30:37):
and a huge turnover and see if the Crusaders can
capitalize on it. Maurice Barnes is going to check into
the game for Bishop mcdebit as a running back here
and I'll have three wide outs to the far side,
one to the kneer.

Speaker 4 (30:50):
And Howard Holton is back on the fields.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
A bashing back to pass. Here comes the pressure dumps
it off the Barnes he's got the thirty five. He's
got the thirty twenty five, twenty ten. Barnes rumbles down
to the ten yard line, first down and ten vision mcdebit.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
Beautifully executed play from the Crusaders there. They have a
lot of options off of that formation. He came back
this side the Barnes on a screen and Big Jackhai
logan out in front. As I always say when I'm
on the air with you guys, I would not want
to see him bearing down on me and twenty eight

(31:27):
yards on that flay.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
Here come the Crusaders. Boe is that the ten yard line.
Two white outs to the fore side, one of the
near two backs in the backfield. They give it to
Maurice Tries the left side inside the five gets down
to the three penalty flags come flying and see if
this is a hold on mcdebitt's See what they call

(31:54):
is this Sebastian comes to the near side. Barnes is
gonna check out for Bish mcdebit, it would appear, and
they do call holding against Bisha mcdebbitt, the old timely
holding call. So we'll see where they spot this one
fifty four seconds left to play here in the first

(32:16):
quarter fourteen fourteen tie. Jack Dawson will check out for
Bisha mcdebitt balls at the sixteen yard line. Crusaders break cuddle,
swoops is in the backfield, Holton Junior out on the
far side. It's John take quick, engage Ruth on the

(32:36):
near side. Sebastian in the shotgun and the Crusaders will
run this one. Swoops to the outside trying to get
something and he's knocked back for a loss. That's where
that holding call really hurts.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Yeah. Gang tackling. They are led by number forty Wesley Bard,
who is one of their top guys coming in here
with eighty five tacks because we talked about him. And
Khale Hines at linebacker also anothernother big tackle for lost guy.
He had eight and a half coming in. They both
teamed up there to bring Jones Davis down for a

(33:12):
five yard loss to mcdebitt. With first and goal from
the twenty.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
One, John take quick and gage Ruth out on the
far side. Sebastian back to pass, has time, he's looking
to run it and he's gonna be tackled down back
at the twenty three yard line. That'll be third down
and go from about the twenty three for Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Yeah, it looked like Sebastian had some room there to
get out and run. Looked like he was thinking about it,
but he was still keeping his eyes downfield. And nice
job by the Selanco defense. I believe that was number
seventy one. Frank Luke Arino was one of the one
of the mules that closed in there. And that's gonna
end the quarter.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
So after one quarter of play here at Fisher mcdebit
fourteen and Solanco fourteen will take a break. You're listening

Here come the Crusaders back onto the field. They'll have
three wide outs to the far side, Olton Junior, the
one wide out on the near side, Sebastian, and the
shotgun formation. Survey's that defense of the gold Mules. Sebastian

(36:47):
back to pass, has LaRue on the outside, fires one
down the middle and it's in and out of the
hands of his men that around the five yard line.
Had John take quick there and just unable to come
down with you.

Speaker 4 (36:58):
They just went right through his hands, and that would
have been a big completion inside the ten. I don't think.
I don't know that Jontay would have been able to
turn and get in the end zone, but it would
have been an interesting fourth down. But now it's a
no brainer to bring Aiden Grell on for the forty yard.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Of course, he had the two of forty two yarders
a couple of weeks ago. You see if you can
put mcdebbit ahead here, eleven fifty six left to play
in the first half. Here's Grella's kick, plenty of leg
and it is good and the Crusaders go up seventeen

(37:35):
fourteen with eleven fifty six left to play here in
the first quarter or first half. Will take a break.
You're listening to Division mcdbbit football here in Fox Sports

It's time to get super sure.

Speaker 3 (38:17):
The Blue and Gold play right here on Fox Sports
fourteen to sixteen.

Speaker 2 (38:25):
Eight enubrella is forty yard biggles. But mcdevid's seventeen fourteen
eleven fifty six left to play first half. His crusaders
will now kickoff going right to left from the home
side of things here at Rush Stadium. Kenrtys have really
heard mcdebit in this game here, Rob. That holding call
really took mcdebit away from probably what was going to

(38:46):
be a touchdown, and the personal foul after mcdebitt stopped
him in the backfield would have set up a fourth
down situation. And so mcdebitt do for some breaks here.
I think Grell on the kickoff here, and here's a
line drive, booming kick that will sail into the end
zone for a touchback. So the Golden Mules will set

(39:11):
up shop from their own twenty yard line, headed left
the right from the home side of things here at
Gross Stadium. Merceders ahead for the first time the night
seventeen fourteen. See what the defense can come up with again.
They got the turnover last time. See if they come
up with another here.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
Yeah, I still don't feel like they have a handle
on this offense yet to say the least. I mean
they've had a couple tackles for loss. Now there you
have a nice strip of Garcia after he was about
five yards downfield. But we haven't seen mcdevin impose their
will at the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
Yet since then a under center and they will run
this one to the left side. They get about four
on that one, so we have second down and six.
Garcia the carrier that time for the Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
Them Maurice Barnes was at the bottom of that pile.
And we should mention now Aiden Grella, now five for
five in the season art for field goals and thirteen
for sixteen in his career.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Went wide out to each side of the field for
the gold Mules. Sensing nig under center triple option offense here,
and they'll run this Froe up the middle and mcdebitt
pushes back the Golden Mules some late activity there with Garcia.

Speaker 4 (40:40):
This is going to be really interesting because there's a
lot of these plays where they're continuing to surge and
fight for yards and mcdebit's holding on, and you know,
the referees are going to have to keep controlling that
and keep consistent, and the kids are going to have
to adjust to how the game is being called. There
Jecai held on for quite a while after the whistle.
So we have another third and short set up here,

(41:02):
third and two.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Third and two from the twenty eight two white outs
to the far side for the gold Mules sensing the
under center. See if the mcdebit defense can get off
the field here, and they will run this one to
the left side, and mcdebit says not this time as
they hit him in the backfield for a loss.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
Yeah, and Jakai Logan at the point of attack. We
talked about it up top. Him and Chris Thompson are
such a formidable doo and this series now it feels
like they're having their way and you see Thompson and
Logan and Logan just absolutely wrecking that play.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
And they will bring the punt team on they you
can see it in Want two, but they will And
now we'll see what Ish Palmer can do standing back
at his thirty eight yard line.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
So the first three and out for mcdebitt are signs
of them showing they've adjusted. Now those defensive tackles having
their ways were lost him to sing and.

Speaker 2 (42:02):
Here's the snap and it's almost blocked. Somehow he got
it out of there. Ish Palmer will field this at
the thirty three cuts up field, Ish still going, is
still going, gets up to the fifty yard line, finally
pushed out of bounds up here.

Speaker 4 (42:16):
What a return from mish Palmer. I mean, he is
just a magician, the way he's able to break tackles
at his size and get out of situations where it
looks like two guys have him. And he's just very strong,
and we know he's shifty and fast. But a seventeen
yard return and now mcdeviit getting the field position that
we're used to seeing them have.

Speaker 2 (42:37):
Crusaders take over with a seventeen to fourteen lead, nine
to twenty eight left to play here in the first half,
balls at the forty nine yard line at Selenko. Crusaders
now will come out into the field here they'll have
swoops in the backfield this time Gage Ruth out in
the fareside Holton Junior on the near side as the wideouts,

(43:00):
Sebastian waits a snap going in motion, there is Brown.
They'll give this one the swoops. Swoops tries the right
side and the Golden Mules do a nice job that
time is he only got about a yard on that one.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Yeah, really really nice pursuit there. And again at the
point of attack number seventeen, Gabe four and who we
knew we would call a lot tonight. He's a safety
art with one hundred and thirty eight tackles on the
season and oftentimes you think, wow, defensive back with that
many tackles. There you can see he's flying up there

(43:37):
at the point of attack, he's hitting Jones Davis and
making a big play.

Speaker 2 (43:42):
Swoops and Zach Brown will check out for Bishop mcdebitt.
So it'll be second down to nine from the forty
eight Holton Junior out in the forest side as a
wide out. You got John Tay Quick out here in
the near side with Gabe Drew Sebastian back to pass
as time fires one out here inside to thirty by
Johntay down the sideline he goes, and a penalty flag

(44:05):
it comes flying in down the field. We'll see what
this is.

Speaker 4 (44:08):
I think they're gonna call a hold on Gage Ruth.
I don't know, you know, from our vantage point, couldn't
really see if it was a hold. I was just
about to say, nice effort from Gage Ruth blocking down field,
but then I saw the flag come out, so we'll see.
It'll be it'll still be a first down. It looks

(44:28):
like the flag was at about the fifteen or sixteen,
so still gonna be a nice game for the Crusaders.
There the officials, but I'm pretty sure it's got to
be a hold. That's what I was. I was watching
Fooler and Ruth doing a nice job downfield block and
it is a hold.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
Another big call goes against Bishop McDevitt.

Speaker 4 (44:52):
It looks like it's gonna be marked from the seventeen,
so thirty one yards on the on the kannact to
quick and then they'll mark off ten from there. Actually
they're marking it. They're marking it from the eighteen now,
so so a thirty yard completion and then a hold.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Well, this is the twenty eight yard line at Slanko.
Here come the Crusaders. First down in ten eight thirty
two left to play first half. Mcdebit IP seventeen fourteen.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
I will say Sebastian Williams looks really good in the
pocket tonight.

Speaker 2 (45:23):
That's a beautiful pass. Here's a run up the middle
for mcdebit and they run this one down to about
the twenty one yard line, gain a seven that time,
and that was that was LaRue on the carry.

Speaker 4 (45:35):
Yeah, mcdebit offensive line, with the exception of a couple
plays where you know they've met Jones Davis at the
point of attack, they're opening a lot of holes, they're
sealing the edges. Sebastian's had a lot of time. Even
the one play where he got sacked, it wasn't It
was more of a coverage sack.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
Two white outs to the far side from mcdebit. One
of the near it's like swoops is in the backfield
to the right of Sebastian. Jack Dawson goes in motion.
They give this when the swoop swoops up the middle,
he's got the first down and more rumbles inside to
ten for a first down down to the nine.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
Yeah. A nice job there by Landon Colbert the left
guard pulling to make that initial block. To spring Spring
Swoops and uh, the safety had to make the play
at that time, way downfield. So that's not what you
want to see from if you're a Silanco fan.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Milch and Fuller come into the game for mcdebth. They'll
come with two white outs to the foreside. Again, Swoop
stays in there. They hand this one off to Swoops
and Swoops pushing forward. Mcdebit pushing that power forward inside
the five, and I'll finally spot him down at the two.

Speaker 4 (46:51):
So turnabout's fair play. There we saw Soelanco with quite
a few surges and picking up nice chunks of yardage
after contact, and there you see mcdebit do it. Swoops
obviously very strong, but there you saw a lot of
blockers getting there. And of course we talk about that
in the NFL each week with the with the brotherly shove,
and then last week, I forget who it was. We

(47:11):
saw an old fashion like pushing the ball carrier and
there we see it there an eight yard gain for
Jones Davis.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
Swoop stays in there, Jack Dawson in front of them.
They give it to Swoops, and Swoops tries to get
their roles over a guy, but is short of the
goal line.

Speaker 4 (47:31):
I believe that was number six Vincent Henry that made
the stick there for the Golden Mules. And it was
a nice tackle one on one with Jones Davis. You
do not see too many guys bring him down one
on one near the goal line.

Speaker 2 (47:44):
Mc debit, faith on unhappy with something that occurred thereafter.

Speaker 4 (47:48):
So the third and goal from the one seventh play,
the drive coming up here, swoops.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
It's a power eye formation for Bishoon mcdebitt. They give
this when the swoops and again the gold Mules will
stop a minute appears at the one yard line. It'll
be four from the number sixty four.

Speaker 4 (48:09):
Noah, goat really strong at the point of attack. Just
blew that play up totally.

Speaker 2 (48:17):
Crusaders are going to go for it on fourth down
and goal from the one. Five forty left to play
first half. Mcdebit up seventeen to fourteen. Obviously a huge
play here in this game.

Speaker 4 (48:28):
It almost looks like it's at the two yard line.
Yeah they did, okay they the scoreboard does mark it
at the two now, so.

Speaker 2 (48:38):
All right here we go. Bishon mcdebit breaks huddle.

Speaker 4 (48:41):
Kind of like to see a play that gives Sebastians
Williams some optionality here, and.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Now penalty flight comes flying in shocker.

Speaker 4 (48:53):
I think coach Wectter wanted to get a time out there.
He was out on the field trying to get the
officials attention, and I don't know whether they gave him
the time.

Speaker 2 (49:03):
Out the flags that came flying, and I'm gonna assume not.

Speaker 4 (49:12):
I think maybe they did give him the time out.
They haven't marked off a penalty here.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
Flag's still at the foot of the one official standing
out there. At the fifteen, it looks like, so it's
five sixteen left to play first half. Mcdebit up seventeen fourteen.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
A legal substitution is the call here, so that will
make it fourth and goal at the seven.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
I would still say mcdbitt will go for it here.

Speaker 4 (49:43):
I think so too. I mean, even though even though
it's a you know, it's a pretty much a shore
three points with Grella, but you go for it again.
The defense looks like it's found it's footing. If you
don't get it, they're backed up inside their own ten
yard line. I totally, I totally agree with this.

Speaker 2 (50:09):
So mcdebit huddling up here on the near side. They'll
make their way out to the field and balls at
the seven yard line, fourth and goal from the seven.

Speaker 4 (50:16):
Susquehanna Township has tied their game up with Twin Valley
fourteen to fourteen in the second quarter.

Speaker 2 (50:24):
Now mcdebitt will come back to the sideline here. Real
exciting game here so far, a fourteen to fourteen game
at the end of the first quarter because each team
traded scores and mcdebitt was able to come up with
the fumble recovery took the lead and then stopped the

(50:46):
gold Mules. And now they've driven down here to the
seven yard line. So here we go. Swoops will be
in the backfield with Sebastian. Two white outs to the
near side for Bishop mcdebitt. Sebastian shot gun formation. See
what the Crusaders come up with here. Sebastian back to
pass fires one of the outside and this is incomplete.

(51:10):
Tried to hit John Tate quick down here in the
corner and just couldn't connect. And McDevitt will turn the
ball over and downs.

Speaker 4 (51:21):
And that's another drive where you know, penalties were a
key factor, particularly that last five yard penalty that puts
you at the seven instead of the two.

Speaker 2 (51:34):
He had the holding penalty that time.

Speaker 4 (51:36):
So an eight play drive comes up empty. But this
is it's back on the defense. Now you've got obviously
tremendous field position, having them backed up at their own seven.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
See if the Crusaders defense can rise up and get
the ball back here again, sense it in under center,
one wide out to each side of the field and
he will keep it himself. Comes to the near side
and he's got a big run in more to the
forty to the fifty, and a penalty flag comes flying
in as he's tackled in on the near sideline down.

Speaker 4 (52:07):
Yeah, that's gonna that's gonna come back some it looks like.
But still it's still going to be a big run
because it's a so got to assume it's a hold.
Where it was.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
Thrown flag is at the thirty six. Yeah, that was.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
Not what you need to do. Everyone went for the
same ball carrier and sense it. It just leaked out, So
it is a hold. But like I said about at
the thirty five, so it's still gonna be a nice chunk,
good first down, get them out, get them some breathing room.
But it could have been a lot worse for mcdebit there.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
So they're going to spot it at the twenty six
yard line, So be first down and ten for the
gold Mules. Five or two left to play first half.
Mcdevid up seventeen fourteen Gold Mules break huddle.

Speaker 4 (53:00):
Both teams with two timeouts.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Seam deal one wide receiver to each side of the field.
Sense a nig fakes the hand off, he's gonna fire
one down the field. And this one is great play.

Speaker 4 (53:16):
Oh they're throwing the flag. I was just about to say,
great play by Jamison Crumwell, who timed that thing perfectly
to break up the pass. But flags are down.

Speaker 2 (53:27):
Yeah, two flags came flying in on now another flag
comes flying in. They're gonna have two long penalties here
against Bishoon mcdell.

Speaker 4 (53:40):
I'd love to be able to see a replay that
because to my to my I thought Crumbell made a
real nice break on that ball, got in there and
broke it up. So that'll be a fifteen yard penalty
out to the forty one. And then if this second
one is a fifteen yarder, that will put the ball
at the mcdeb it forty four.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
Officials.

Speaker 4 (54:05):
They haven't actually marked it off yet, But I'm just assuming.

Speaker 2 (54:08):
Here, reaching that point in the game here now where
the officials need to understand the fans didn't drive out
here to Warwick High School to watch them called penalty
every other play.

Speaker 4 (54:28):
Yeah, the interference is the one I have a big
problem with because I thought that was a great play
by Crummell.

Speaker 2 (54:35):
Yeah, it looked like they were there before or after
the ball came and knocked it down.

Speaker 4 (54:42):
Tyler Reinhardt was also there.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
Mcdebit up seventeen fourteen, four point fifty six left to play.
First half. Penalty's adding up, certainly for mcdebitt. So they
get about thirty yards or so in penalties. The ball
is going to come to the mcdebit's yard line.

Speaker 4 (55:10):
That's what I That's what I was estimating there when
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
They'll bring one wide out to the far side. Sense
a nig leads the offense on here. Mcdebit up seventeen fourteen.
Huge swing here, as mcdebitt was kind of felt like
they were taking the game over a little bit and
we're unable to score. Had the ball to two.

Speaker 4 (55:40):
Now, Selanka running a couple guys in and out and
we don't have a play clock, so we don't really
know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
Now. They spot the ball back to the the A.

Speaker 4 (55:50):
Was that an illegal substitute? What's the five yards for?

Speaker 2 (55:54):
I don't know if they didn't spot it right to
begin with or what they're hurtuning.

Speaker 4 (55:58):
Well, if it was fifteen and fifteen, it should have
been at the forty four, So I'm I'm totally confused.

Speaker 2 (56:07):
Sensinnig under center, and they will run this one up
the middle to the forty four yard line and it'll
be second down and five.

Speaker 4 (56:16):
Maury Sparns again at the bottom of that pile.

Speaker 2 (56:22):
Clock ticks down to four to forty left to play
in the first half. Mcdevid up seventeen to fourteen. Two
white outs to the near side and one of the
farest Censinnig under center. They'll fire when this in the
backfield that was almost a lateral to Burgos and mcdebicate's
in there and knocks them back. Don't get too excited, crusaders.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Yeah, a great job by Patrick right number twenty one,
who was being blocked and just shucked off the blocker
and hit Burgos at the same time for a loss
on that short pass. RJ. Duffy then came in to
clean that up. So big play there by Patrick Wright.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
So be third and six from the forty five coach
the white out on the far side. They have one
white out on the near side. Here Censennigg will go
under center. Mcdebit crowd into it right here, Sinsinigg. Sensinig
will pitch this on the outside and mcdebit gets in

(57:23):
the backfield and hits him for a loss. Looked like
there could have been a hold out here on the outside,
but that one's not called.

Speaker 4 (57:29):
Another great play from Patrick Wright. He was being blocked
by number forty Wesley Bard. As the pitch was being made.
Bard was still engaged with Right. He just totally shredded
that block, came out and just leveled the pitch man
for two consecutive tackles for loss for Patrick Right, the senior.

Speaker 2 (57:50):
His palmer will go back deep for mcdebit's standing at
his ten yard line. Crusader's up seventeen fourteen three forty
left the play first.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
Half stand by the Crusader defense there.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
And they will snap this when one of the upmen
and he's running with it down the field and he's
gonna be tackled short of the first down, had about
the forty five yard line, and that.

Speaker 4 (58:16):
Was a Kielan Smith making the play and mcdebbit was
ready for that. At practice, in the special teams portion
of the practice they went over this rugby punt and
how they fake it, how they kind of keep the
option open when they're rolling, and mcdebit was ready. Like
I said, they were prepared mentally, they just had to execute.
And there you saw Keelan Smith make that big play

(58:39):
hold them to a one yard game. So man, there's
been so many momentum swings already in this game.

Speaker 2 (58:46):
I think that was Wesley Bard.

Speaker 4 (58:48):
It was barred.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
Yes, So here come to Crusaders now, So they'll go
right to left from the home side of things here
at Warwick High School and Sebastian back to pass. Fires,
went down the field and he's got John Tay quick
down to the twelve yard line, first down.

Speaker 4 (59:05):
Bishop mcdebitt, you cannot throw ball better than Sebastian Williams
right there. Absolute dime on the getting quick and he
just put it right on his hands. Beautiful throw, great
catch from John Tay and they're in the red zone

(59:26):
forty one yards.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
On that play, they bring it back to the fourteen
yard line, so mcdebitt will take over there. First down
in ten at the fourteen two white outs to the
near side. One of the far Crusaders will run this
one on the near side. That's LaRue inside the farm
and takes it in the end zone, takes a shot.

(59:47):
As he scored the touchdown, the Onty flags come flying in.

Speaker 4 (59:52):
Yeah, it's gonna be fifteen here on the kickoff.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
And Bishop mcdebit, I believe has a twenty three to
fourteen they.

Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
Do, that'll be marked off after the play. And LaRue
we saw him do this last week against Exeter where
everybody knows about the speed, but he's just getting stronger too,
lowers his shoulder and delivers a blow to the defender.
And now we have a conference going on down here.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
And LaRue is a couple of yards into the end
zone and before he got decked. Yeah, I mean it's
pretty obvious here, and.

Speaker 4 (01:00:29):
It's personal foul against mcdebit. Off setting penalties. Would love
to know what the personal foul mcdebit was.

Speaker 2 (01:00:44):
So mcdebit's up twenty three fourths well are they haven't
put the points up on the scoreboard. This is uh,
just getting a little crazy now.

Speaker 4 (01:00:56):
You kind of expect some of this stuff to a
degree when you're mcdebit with these kind of these baffling calls,
But I mean, are these after the play?

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
I have a cheap shot.

Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
Because the first flags I saw fly were the two
in the end zone. These two back here at the
twenty yard line were not down when he crossed the
goal line. Okay, And that's exactly what we're getting the
word now. I was thinking, there's no way those those
penalties were called during the run, so we've got offsetting

(01:01:36):
penalties after the touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Crusaders, they still have not put the six points on
the scoreboard here. Okay. Finally, about five minutes after the touchdown,
it's twenty three to fourteen. Mcdebitt and the officials still
having a party out here in the middle of the field.

(01:02:06):
Mc devit up. Twenty three fourteen now two fifty eight
left to play. First half. You just hate when you
get to a district title game and it's a ref
show and that's what you're getting right now, and people
don't want to hear that. But I mean, that's just
what's happening right now.

Speaker 4 (01:02:30):
We're still waiting for the extra point to be lined
up here.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Still still morgans at here, Big DevD up twenty three
to fourteen.

Speaker 4 (01:02:45):
This is rus is really bad.

Speaker 2 (01:02:48):
I mean, you play games all year and I haven't.
I can't remember a game m debit's played.

Speaker 4 (01:02:52):
I mean, I would love to know what again, if
we only had replayed to know what mcdebitt did to
get an offsetting. When Jerome LaRue Junior gets clocked two
yards into the end zone.

Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
It is blown up out of it. I mean, he
was stopping, scored the touchdown and takes a cheap shot
and somehow it's all setting penalties here. Still further discussions
now the officials over on the far side of the
field talking with Solanko's coaching staff. Mcdebit up twenty three fourteen.

(01:03:30):
He scored the touchdown about ten minutes ago. It feels
like the score was tied at fourteen after one. Crusaders
got the field goal here immediately in the second quarter
to go up seventeen fourteen. Silanko was able to stop

(01:03:50):
mcdebitt the help of some penalties. Crusaders get it back
and have taken the lead. Now twenty three fourteen with
two fifty eight eight left to play, and still I mean,
this is just craziness. And this is a district championship
game and it's being refed like a bad preseason game.

(01:04:16):
Grella Ono attempt the extra point, Ryan Hart the holder,
and the kick is up and it is good. So
that puts Bishop mcdebit up twenty four to fourteen, two
point fifty eight left to play. First half. Let's take

(01:04:36):
another break. You're listening to Bisha mcdebit football here in
Fox Sports fourteen sixty n iHeart Radio. Bishop mcdebit football
is brought to you by a ten decer of Green
Spring Advisors. They have taken great care in assembling a
talented team of professionals who are skilled in financial planning,
tax and investments. They use modern investment tools and technology

(01:04:57):

GreenSpring Advisors dot com and remember to listen to Financial
Freedom of for a long time friend Tim Decker every
Saturday morning at TEND on our sister station news radio
WHP five eighty.

Speaker 9 (01:05:12):
Green Spring Advisors is a fee only registered investment advisors
with the SEC.

Speaker 10 (01:05:17):
Do you own a small business. A seismic shift is coming.
It's time to get super short coming soon.

Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Thanks for listening to Bishop mcdebit football. Now back to
the field.

Speaker 2 (01:05:33):
Touchdown, it's put Visha mcdebit up twenty four to fourteen
over Solanko. Two fifty eight left to play, first half.
Now Bishop mcdebit will kick off.

Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Okay, now I'm I'm really confused. So there were off
setting penalties, we thought, but why is mcdebit kicking off
from the Solanka forty five yard line? I don't know, guys.
I would love there to be microphones for every official,

(01:06:08):
every game we do. I'd love to have a mic
just so we know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
The saying goes in sports. As far as I'm concerned,
if you don't notice the refs are doing a good job.
We can't say that tonight. Here's a short kick and
Telenko will come up and make a little diving catch
at the twenty three yard line. That was number seventeen,
Gabe Foreign. So they will take over with two fifty
six left to play, with two timeouts left. Going left

(01:06:35):
to right from the home side of things here, at
Warwick High School. We'll see if McDevitt's defense can get
another stop here. Gold Mules send a wide receiver way
far out on the foreside and one closer to the
line on the near side. Sense it in under center,

(01:06:58):
and he will pitch this one of the opt outside
out there to uh. That's number forty for the Golden Mules,
and that is it's barred.

Speaker 4 (01:07:06):
It is barred. And I was waiting through the binoculars
for the flag to come out. Maurice Barnes was held
egregiously there on the edge. That's how he was able
to get outside.

Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
So first down at the forty nine yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:07:22):
A Kiel and Smith on the stop.

Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
First down and ten Golden Mules, two thirty five left
to play. First half, Nick debit up twenty four to fourteen.

Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
I mean Barnes just kind of threw his left arm
up as he went by because he was being held.

Speaker 2 (01:07:37):
Just a joke at this point, Sanzinig will keep it
himself and he's tricked down after maybe a yard gain,
it'll be tacond down to nine.

Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
Zach Brown initially forced him wider, and there you have RJ.
Duffy and to Ron Dennis combining. I think they've combined
three times tonight on tackles near the line of scrimmage.

Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
Second down to nine to fifty two minutes left to play.
First tap mc devid up twenty four to fourteen one
white after the far side one of the near again,
same formation they've run most of the night. Triple option.
Here Sincinnig under center, Burgos goes in motion sensing it
back to pass fires a lame duck passed down the

(01:08:20):
field that's intercepted inside the twenty eighth to seventeen yard line,
and the Crusaders will take over.

Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
Jamison Crumbell with the play. Great job he was stuck
on Eric Cook, perfect coverage. Cook turned around almost like
he had to be the defensive back there, and Crumbell
pulled it in as he was falling backwards to mcdebit.
Now plus two on takeaways from this defense with the

(01:08:48):
fumble recover from Milch to take away from Crumbell, and
of course they stopped that fig punt also, So after
some problems early on the war, Eagles are making themselves
known right now, and with two time outs, mcdebitt's got
plenty of time to go down here and score.

Speaker 2 (01:09:06):
Wells a d eighteen yard line crusaders will go right
to left from the home side of things here at
Warwick High School, Holton Junior goes out in the far
side as a wide out Sebastian shotunformation. Jack Dawson goes
in motion and now mcdebitt will take a time out,

(01:09:27):
so we'll keep things here. Discover the difference with Select

listen to Financial Freedom of for a long time friend
Tim Decker every Saturday morning at ten over in her
sister station, news radio WHP five to eighty and Green
Spring Advisors is a f only registered investment advisor with
the sec. Here come to Crusaders. Back onto the field
now leading twenty four to fourteen, minute forty two left
to play first half. Crusaders will have three wide outs

(01:10:33):
on the near side. Johnte quick checks out here at
the last second, Sebastian waits to snap here went back
in the backfield and now Jack Dawson goes in motion
and the Crusaders will run this one up the middle.
And this is a run up to about the twenty
nine yard line. That was swoops on the carrier for
Bishop mcdebitt and the pamalty flag comes fine.

Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
In Yeah, well after the play so and even speculate
on what that might be.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
And this one is against the Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (01:11:07):
I think it was just a sideline warning the referee.

Speaker 2 (01:11:10):
Yeah, balls at the twenty seven yard by Mcdebit did
not get the first down, so it'll have a second
down and one.

Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
Yeah, coach Wector keeping that last time out in his
pocket in case he needs it to bring on Aiden Gorilla.

Speaker 2 (01:11:27):
Quick pass to the outside out here to Ish Palmer
Ish trying to get a first down and he will
be knocked out of bounds at around the twenty eight
yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:11:37):
Yeah, I think he did get the first down, looks
like from where they're spotting. Yeah, he did get past
the sticks there, and more importantly, he got out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Minute nine left to play balls at the twenty nine
yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:11:54):
Art Harrisburg leads Central York twenty to ten WOW in
the second quarter in the six to A championship game.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
So John take Quick will run out on the fore
side along with Fulton Junior and Gauge.

Speaker 4 (01:12:13):
Ruth Susquehanna Township up twenty one to twenty. Late in
the half, Twin Valley missed an extra point that would
have tied the game.

Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
Sebastian back to pass fires went over the middle, and
this one's complete. The Gage Ruth up at the forty
six yard line, takes a shot and hangs on to it.

Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Yeah, big shot there from number seventeen gave four and
the big the safety, the guy that leads them and
tackles with one hundred and thirty eight. He he really
punished Gage engaged at a nice job holding on to
the football for a sixteen yard pickup. Sebastian Williams just
on the money tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
First and ten at the forty five fifty seconds left
to play. Sebastian back to pass, comes a pressure dumps
the screen pass to the outs. That looks scary for
a minute, and it was incomplete.

Speaker 4 (01:13:03):
Very well read by the gold Mules defense. They had
that thing sniffed out all the way. At number six,
Vincent Henry just was stuck on Jones. Davis was ready
to break that play up. So mcdebit's probably better off
that he didn't catch that ball because it was a
high throw. He would have had to go way up
and get it. Henry was there to level them, and

(01:13:25):
they would have lost. They would have lost some valuable time.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
There two outs to each side of the field for mcdebitt,
sebash and waits a snap back to pass. Here comes
a pressure fires one and this one's complete to the
outside out of here for vision mcdebitt inside the forty
and Holton Junior. We'll put on some good footwork out
here and picks up a first down for mcdebit.

Speaker 4 (01:13:48):
Howard Holton's Junior with the crazy moves as always, just
creates such separation when he runs his routes and then
puts a move on the defensive back and again most
importantly gets out of bounds on that sixteen yard gain.

Speaker 2 (01:14:05):
Still thirty nine seconds left and mcdebitt with a time out.
Three wide outs of the far side, one to the near,
one back in the backfield. Sebastian back to pass as
time now he's going to come to the near side,
looks downfield and fires one in the area of Holton Junior.

Speaker 4 (01:14:20):
It's incomplete good decision by Sebastian there again, a lot
of time from the offensive line, but things were finally
starting to break down and Sebastian knows can't take a
sack there, just got rid of it. Really, that play
only took seven seconds. It seemed like it took more,
but still thirty two seconds, all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
Still at the thirty nine yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Susquehanna Township up twenty one to twenty at the break.
As we mentioned.

Speaker 2 (01:14:48):
There, Palmer, Quick and Ruth out on the far side,
Holton Junior in the near side, and the Crusaders will
run it with LaRue this time up the middle.

Speaker 4 (01:14:58):
They were not fooled.

Speaker 2 (01:15:00):
Twenty five seconds left and see if mcdebitt takes the
time out, and they do, they say they use their
last time out here.

Speaker 4 (01:15:06):
Number forty barred to number six. Vincent Henry. Nice job
there bringing LaRue down after a game of only two yards.

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
So Crusaders take their final time out here. Obviously, Big
mcdeviad will get the ball to start the second half.
And that's huge in a game like this as well.
If you could put some points on the board here
and get the ball to start the second half, you
could really take over this game. Stay tuned tonight and

(01:15:38):
our postgame show as we'll have our Game Day Men's
Health Player of the Game, Game Day Men's Health defining
a new era in men's health. Fish and mcdebit tonight.
And those dark blue jerseys, white numbers, gold helmets, gold
pants and the golden mules over in the far side
of Selenko the white jerseys, the black numbers, black pants

(01:16:02):
with a gold trim, and black helmets. Teams come back
onto the field here. Now, if twenty four seconds left,
McDevitt does have a third down and nine from the
thirty eight yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:16:13):
Yeah, plenty of time. You know, you don't really need
to go deep here. You just maybe want to throw
like a fifteen yard route, get up there and spike
it and uh growlo, have plenty of time.

Speaker 2 (01:16:24):
Three wede outs to the far side to bashing back
to pass fires one as he gets hit and he
will just throw this one out of bounds over on
the far side. Minton Henry in there on the pressure
and hit him right as he he released it.

Speaker 4 (01:16:40):
Yeah, Henry's very active. He's been involved in a lot
of plays for the Gold Mules this first half.

Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
And it looks like McDevitt's gonna punt this now.

Speaker 4 (01:16:55):
I think they're gonna try a field goal right here.

Speaker 2 (01:16:57):
They are, okay, so that's gonna be a fifty five
yarder yep.

Speaker 4 (01:17:02):
And obviously he's got the range. We know that, we've
seen it.

Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
So fifty five yard field goal, eighteen seconds left and
a half. We'll see if he can deliver. Here, Ryan
Hart the holder, here's the kick, and this one just
sails to the left and is no good. Somehow, the

(01:17:28):
clock didn't wind down at all at any It was
eighteen seconds when he kicked in and still eighteen seconds
on the clock.

Speaker 4 (01:17:36):
That would have that would have been a District three
record had he made that. The record is fifty four.
So his first miss of the years. Yeah, interesting because
you gotta think, what do you what do you think
they're like at least six or seven seconds went off?

Speaker 2 (01:17:56):
It has to be Yeah, gosh. So mcdeviit leads twenty
four to fourteen. We'll see if they do adjust the
clock here is then no time came off.

Speaker 4 (01:18:13):
You gotta think they're gonna adjust it. Okay, we got three.

Speaker 2 (01:18:25):
Seconds, three seconds over sensiting underset hard for a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
Patrick his third TfL and a half.

Speaker 2 (01:18:40):
And uh, the clock is down to eight seconds, and
I think that's gonna do it. That is going to
do it for football. So a crazy first half of
football here at Warwick High School and with everything that happened,
mcdevit gets out of here if a ten point lead,
and we'll get the ball to start the second half.

(01:19:00):
So it's Bishop mcdevid twenty four to fourteen over the
Solanco Golden Mules. I have our halftime show coming up

Now let's head back to the field, all.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Right, Welcome back to Brush Dadium here at Warwick High
School where Bisho mcdebit leeds Solanco twenty four to fourteen
at the half. Trying to recap this game. It was
a crazy, crazy first half as the Golden Mules would
score a minute twenty three into this game on a
forty three yard touchdown run by Chris Burgos. They had
to lead. Mcdeviitt. I think it took one play later

(01:23:08):
or two plays later for the seventy eight yard touchdown
pass from Sebastian Williams to John take Quick caught him down.
The seaman and John Tay had some good blocking down
the field and behink Holden Jr. Was one of the
receivers and mcdeviitt would go in from seven to eight
yards out to tie this game at seven. Another long
drive put together by the Golden Mules some costly penalties

(01:23:30):
by Bishop mcdebitt, and finally Chris Burgos would take it
in from twenty one yards out to put the Golden
Mules up fourteen to seven. At that point, Crusaders would
answer back with another quick score. Is LaRue Junior a
forty seven yard run would tie the game at fourteen.
Mcdebitt would get a turnover and would go down the

(01:23:50):
field and look like they're gonna win for a touchdown.
A holding call would set them back. They would have
to settle for an eight and Grella forty yard field goal.
Crusaders were up seventeen. Crusaders finally got a big stop,
got the ball back again, came down the field, got
it to the two, were penalized and tried to throw
it for a touchdown. It was incomplete. Gold Mules got

(01:24:12):
it back. They would come down the field. Mcdeviitt's defense
would get the stop and then LaRue Junior would score
from about fourteen yards out. Was decked as he was
several yards into the end zone. After the play was over,
somehow they called penalties that nullified each other, but mcdeviitt
had to lead twenty four to fourteen. Crusaders would get

(01:24:33):
it back one more time, and we're unable to score
as they tried the long field goal, there by aiden
grilla an actual score at the half. Bishop mcdevit up
twenty four to fourteen, and the Crusaders will get the
ball to start the third quarter here bested. Then we'll

(01:24:53):
have some more discussion about this game for you coming
up next on the Bisho mcdebit halftime Show. You're listening
to Bisho mcdevit, Footba Aaron, Fox Sports fourteen sixty and

Cruz Sader magic never ends. Now let's get back to
our game.

Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
Wow Hlli right, Welcome back to Brush Stadium here at
Warwick High School, Bish mcdebit leading this District three to
five E championship game twenty four to fourteen and a half.
We're retired at fourteen after one and I'm mcdebit with
ten points in the second quarter to go up twenty
four were fourteen and rob a really interesting first half mcdebit.

(01:27:05):
It took them all out to adjust, I think defensively,
but they really started adjusting there in the second quarter.

Speaker 1 (01:27:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:27:12):
I mean, like we said, early on those first three
possessions or so, we were pretty rough, you know, adjusting
to it. And then you know the strip which I
again I wish I could give someone credit. I wasn't
sure which crusader actually stripped the ball. I saw Rein
hard in there, but I know Campbell Miltch definitely made
the recovery that really seemed to turn things around, because

(01:27:35):
since then the next series you had a three and
out with Jakai Logan with a big tackle for loss,
and that allowed mcdebit to get really get some equilibrium.
Then the series after that they did since and it
did break the one run and then the two big
penalties on mcdebit but that's when Patrick Wright, I think,

(01:27:56):
really changed the whole first half. On a second and five,
he sniffed out that quick throat to Burgos and the
slot shedded the blocker and hit him for a loss.
And then on third down, same thing, he he shed
the block and he brought down Burgos for another loss.
So that was another big series. And then you had
the interception by Crummell, so that that fumble, the strip

(01:28:20):
of Johnny Garcia and the recovery by Campbell Miltch was
really the turning point. It's pretty obvious mcdebit's offense has
been humming. I mean unofficially, you know my quick quick
addition here during timeouts mcdebitt in the first half three
hundred and forty two yards. Unofficially, Sebastian Williams I had

(01:28:43):
seven for thirteen for two to eleven. John Tay Quick
with about one hundred and fifty yards receiving. I had
him at one forty nine. Five different players have caught
balls from Williams rushing Jerom LaRue Jr. Four carries seventy yards,
two touchdown ounce the zier, Jens Davis eleven for fifty nine,
so mcdeviitt uh like I said, three hundred and forty

(01:29:06):
two yards in the first half, I had them with
close to one hundred yards and penalties I had I
had ninety five yards. So Lanco on the other hand,
again obviously a lot of rushing yardage one hundred and
eighty nine yards on the ground in the first half,
twenty five carries for twenty five carries for one eighty

(01:29:31):
nine huge, but two for five passing for eleven yards
in an interception, So that's been decisive. And again we
can't say enough about you know, Jakai Logan starting to
make his presence felt. Tron Dennis R. J. Duffy had
really good halves, Patrick Wright, Jamison Crumble with the I
N T. He also had a nice pass breakup that

(01:29:53):
he got flagged on. We're not able to see a replay,
but Crumble had a real strong half as well.

Speaker 2 (01:30:00):
When you're playing a team like this, the best medicine
is to keep scoring and stay ahead of them, so
that possession and I know we always talk about it
every week, that first possession of the second half will
be huge. Mcdebit can go down and go up a
seventeen points and take control, it'll really put a lot
of pressure on that Selanka offense.

Speaker 4 (01:30:21):
Yeah, I mean, I was just about to say, but
if you beat me to the punch art, you don't
want to you know, you don't want to exaggerate, but
I feel like, you know, obviously, the first drive of
any third quarter and a ten point game is crucial.
But with the styles of these two football teams, if
mcdebitt would be able to go down and put a

(01:30:42):
touchdown on the board, potentially make the point and go
up seventeen, a three score lead against a triple option
team would be massive. So you know, they have the
opportunity to go do that. Soelanco they don't necessarily need
to get a quick stop. I think if they stay
within two scores, they'll be able to keep running this

(01:31:02):
offense and churning. But I do think that at some
point in this football game, if Soelanka is gonna hang
around into the fourth quarter, they're gonna need to make
a big play in the passing game. We've talked about
it over the years so many times. Mcdebit is not
a team you're just gonna be running the football. And
I think the first half has really illustrated that as

(01:31:23):
well as anything to run for one hundred and eighty
nine yards in one half the way, Soelanko did and
still be down by ten points. They're gonna have to
get some stuff done through the air.

Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
You can see they're uncomfortable as they did. Try that
one deep ball in the mcdebit territory that was picked
off by the crusaders and so that's where you want
to put Selanka. You want to try and force them
to pass it, and it didn't go so well for
him there. All right, let's take another break. We're at
the half here at Warwick High School at Grush Stadium.

All right, welcome back to Gross Stadium here at Warwick
High School. We're at the half of this District three
five eight championship game. Bishop mcdebit up twenty four to fourteen.
They trailed at one point fourteen to seven, seventeen unanswered
points by Bishop mcdebit and the Crusaders. We'll get the
ball to start the third quarter here at gross stadium,

(01:35:44):
beautiful facilities We've mentioned a couple of times here tonight,
just a great place to call a game. Beautiful press boxes,
beautiful field, nice track around this field here. Bishoon mcdebit
tonight in their dark blue jersey's white numbers, gold pants,
go helmets and the gold mules of Sonko the white
jersey's dark numbers, black pants with the gold trim, and

(01:36:07):
the black helmets as well.

Speaker 4 (01:36:10):
So far, so good for the Midpenn Conference. Tonight, art
hold and serve at halftime. Harrisburg Cougars are now up
twenty six to ten in the six A game over
Central York and in the four A game Susquehanna Township clinging,
but still any lead is a good lead. Against Twin
Valley it's twenty one to twenty at half, and then

(01:36:30):
of course this game. Unfortunately, in the games that are
in the PIAA bracket already, Steel High and Trinity are
both down really big in their games. The last Trinity
score I saw was eighteen to nothing against Newman Garetti. Tonight.

Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
I think if you're Bish mcdebitt here, you gotta watch
out for an onside kick.

Speaker 4 (01:36:58):
Okay, Dan Sasti Amy's gave me so I had some
bad infel Trinity is only down sixteen to fourteen. That
might have been the Steel High early score I saw
because I know they were down big. So Trinity hanging
in there against Newman Garetti Steel High of course again

(01:37:19):
up against Southern Columbia Perennial Power tonight and they were
down forty eight to twelve at half.

Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
Tristan Brown to kickoff here and he does kick this
one deep and this one will go into the end
zone for a touchback to vision mcdebitt will take over
a ten points that they're in twenty and we'll go
right to left from the home side of things here
at Warwick High School, aright telby rob Aglise el f

(01:37:47):
Fsler back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios want
to thank Marty Bowman for his interview with Coach Wector
in her pregame show tonight. And here come the Crusader.
Swoops will st in the backfield for Bishoon mcdebitt, Sebastian
under center. It's a power eye formation for the Crusaders

(01:38:08):
and they will run this one with swoops up the
middle and swoops takes it up to the twenty nine,
maybe the twenty eight yard line. A nice run. That's
one thing this vision mcdebit team can do. They get
run sweeps the whole way down the field if they
want to.

Speaker 4 (01:38:22):
Yeah, we saw that last year in the postseason. That's
what makes you know the mcdebit team in the last
few years so lethal as they can. They can obviously
everybody knows they can throw it, but they developed such
a lethal running game here the last two years, and
you can really lean on that right side of the
offensive line, opening up a huge hole there.

Speaker 2 (01:38:41):
Sebastian will hand this one off again and Swoops. This time,
Swoop stays on his feet somehow and gets ahead for
the first down up to the thirty two yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:38:51):
He kept his bounce and he got some help from
Zach Brown as we talked about assisting the ball carrier,
totally legal. As Swoops was putting his hand to keep
his balance, Zach Brown kind of pulled him along and
surged him ahead for four yards there. So first and
ten at the thirty three.

Speaker 2 (01:39:12):
Now the officials.

Speaker 4 (01:39:14):
Actually that'll be that'll be a five. Well, let's se
where they're gonna spot that five yard game.

Speaker 2 (01:39:19):
And now a flag comes out.

Speaker 4 (01:39:23):
What the heck is an illegal participation? Want someone sideline warning?
All right, so each team's had a sideline warning now
and they so wait now they're.

Speaker 2 (01:39:47):
My gosh, so Swoops had that run?

Speaker 4 (01:39:51):
Was that was that their second sideline warning? I don't
recall one on mc david earlier. So this is very
confusing to our listeners. We wish we could help, but
they're they're not really saying what they're doing here.

Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
So he Swoops had the first down, Sebastian back to pass,
fires went down the field. John Tay has it. That'll
take care of that. He's knocked out of bounds around
the forty eight yard line. First down vision mcdebit.

Speaker 4 (01:40:21):
Yeah, that's one way to wipe out a mysterious call.

Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
And they're sitting here you see Swoops of a great run.
It was just a fantastic play to get the first
down to the thirty two. So even if you called
the penalty after the first down, it's still a first down.

Speaker 11 (01:40:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:40:40):
I don't know if that was mcdebit's second sideline. I
don't recall them getting warned earlier, but.

Speaker 2 (01:40:46):
Two white outs to the far side one of the
near Sebastian waits the snap, hands this one the Barns.
Barns around the corner, rumbles down to the forty seven
yard line. Games like this, you just want to get
a big lead and keep it out of the ref's hands,
but you don't want to You don't want this game
going down to the wire of this grew.

Speaker 4 (01:41:06):
Really nice job by the center for mcdebit their number
fifty two, Jude Slover, who's had a great year leading Barnes.

Speaker 2 (01:41:15):
Yeah, Holton junior out on the far side for Bishop mcdebit,
Age Ruth on the near side. Again, it's a power
eye formation on second and six from the forty seven
and they will hand this one off up to the
near side and Barnes is hit. Not much there from Marie.

Speaker 4 (01:41:34):
Great play from the backside defensive end, number forty four,
Bryce Cox coming in and making that play, the son
of head coach Slanka, head coach Tony Cox. Mcdebitt now
in a third and six.

Speaker 2 (01:41:49):
Third and six of the forty seven yard line. Ish
Palmer comes into the game for Bishop mcdebitt, nine to
fifty left to play third quarter. Crusaders up twenty four
to fourteen crusaders Bray Cuddle. It'll be Gage, Ruth and
Nisch Palmer on the far side, Holton Junior on the
near side. Sebastian in that shock unformation, swoops to his right.

(01:42:11):
Sebastian back to pass fires one of the outside. This
is complete for a first down to Holton Junior inside
to thirty and down to the twenty eight.

Speaker 4 (01:42:21):
We talk about Howard Holton Junior just just a tremendous
precision route runner. He beat Schneider Lenhart there, had a
couple steps. Sebastian was able to deliver it and he
just on the unlike usual one, Howard will juke a guy.
He just turned and went straight up field. An eighteen
yard game there.

Speaker 2 (01:42:42):
Gage Ruth and John take quick out on the far
side for Bishop McDavid. Holton Junior in the near side,
back lines up to the left of Sebastian and they'll
give this one to LaRue. LaRue turns the corner, cuts
outside twenty five and gets down to the twenty two
yard line. A nice run there by LaRue Junior.

Speaker 4 (01:43:01):
Yeah. Again, the offensive line, I think we've called about
just every one of their names out for making great blocks.
Night Chakai Logan there. They really cleaned that edge up
and LaRue was just able to get outside and get six.

Speaker 2 (01:43:17):
Balls at the twenty three yard line. You should mcdebitt
with a second down and three eight and a half
minutes left to play. In the third Crusaders up twenty
four to fourteen. Holton Junior out in the fore side,
John take quick gage, Ruth on the near side, went
back in the backfield. Jack Dawson goes in motion and
they'll hand this one off up the middle to LaRue.

(01:43:38):
Cuts outside. LaRue, He's got the ten and knocked out
of bounds. LaRue tackled like ten yards out of bounds
over in the fore sideline. No call.

Speaker 4 (01:43:50):
Yeah, that was a tough one because he was kind
of caught up with the one defender and the other
defender was trying to you know, kind of called that
same way both ways.

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
I agree.

Speaker 4 (01:44:06):
I think it would be interesting to see what would
happen if you know.

Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
We know what would happen.

Speaker 4 (01:44:11):
Yeah, but yeah, I mean I feel for a defender,
you can only really pull up so much when you're
trying to make a play on the sideline.

Speaker 2 (01:44:19):
There two white outs to the near side for mcdebit.
One of the far play action fake. Sebastian fires one
of the back of the end zone and this one's
intercepted in the back of the end zone for a touchback.

Speaker 4 (01:44:32):
Great play by number three. That's Burgos, Chris Burgos that
we've called his name on two big touchdown runs and
he makes a potentially I don't want to say game
changing play yet, but but really a huge play because
as we talked about mcdebbit, looked like they were going
to go in for a three score leagu which would
have been a huge problem.

Speaker 2 (01:44:53):
A great play there by Burgos.

Speaker 4 (01:44:56):
Tremendous, tremendous athleticism on that play to go up and
get that in the back of the end zone.

Speaker 2 (01:45:04):
So first down and ten gold Mules. They'll go left
to right, seven forty five left to play in the
third and tanseneg will pitch this one of the outside
and the Golden Mules will pick up about six or
seven on this one.

Speaker 4 (01:45:17):
Yeah, Burgos broke a kiel in Smith's tackle and was
able to get upfield before to Ron Dennis the defensive
end brought him down. But a nice first down run
to get this drive started.

Speaker 2 (01:45:32):
So a great drive from mcdebitt. They just can't finish
it off. Second and two from the twenty eight Gold
Mules go left to right from the home side of
things here at Warwick High School, cincineg under center, and
they will run this one to the far side and
Debit shuts it down and I'm mcdebit.

Speaker 4 (01:45:53):
Players, see that's where I'm talking about. Call it both ways.
Zach Brown getting hit after the play, Garcia searched forward.
Jakai Logan had him in a bear hug, and Garcia
showed his strength by just keeping the lakes churning and

(01:46:14):
getting enough for the first down there.

Speaker 2 (01:46:18):
First down in ten at the thirty yard line, six
and a half minutes left the play in the third
mcdevid of twenty four to fourteen, one white out to
each side of the field for the Gold Mules, cencinig
under center, and they will run this one to the
left side and get maybe about three. It'll be second
down and seven.

Speaker 4 (01:46:39):
Yeah, that was Garcia again and Jakai Logan to Ron
Dennis and R. J. Duffy names that were calling quite
a lot. All three of them were in on that play,
that three yard game for Garcia.

Speaker 2 (01:46:55):
One white out to each side of the field for
the gold Mules since to nig again under Burgos goes
in motion, They pitch it to him and he is
tackling in a backfield back to the twenty seven yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:47:07):
Guess who Patrick Wright, number twenty one, his fourth tackle
for loss tonight. What a game he's having, What a
postseason he's having.

Speaker 2 (01:47:19):
Really, that'll go back to the twenty eight yard line
and it'll be third down and long for the gold Mules.
Obviously a huge player. Another opportunity for mcdevid's defense to
get off the field. Five eighteen left to play in
the third mcdevid of twenty four to fourteen Crusaders can

(01:47:40):
pick up their offense here with a stop Sencinnent under center.
Burgos goes in motion. Censinnik's pass over the middle in
a diving attempt and I think that ball hit the ground.

Speaker 4 (01:47:52):
Yeah, they did roll it in complete. It was number
four Eric Cook who tried to go low for that.
But truthfully, even if he catches it and you're looking
at about a fourth and four in your own territory,
I'm not sure they would have they would have gone
for that at this stage, still just two scores down.

Speaker 2 (01:48:17):
Ish standing back at his thirty four yard line. Again,
you gotta watch for the fake punt here. Brown awaits
a snap and now penalty flag, and that one's going
to be against the Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (01:48:37):
A legal substitution. We saw one on mcdavitt earlier. Now
we see one on Solanco.

Speaker 2 (01:48:48):
So Ish will come up a few steps to his
forty yard line. Brown will stand back at his nine
and await the snap, and it's a high snap, but
he does get off a line drive kick that Ish
catches it at the thirty nine, tries to put a move,

(01:49:09):
cuts outside and we'll be spun down from behind at
the forty one yard line. So good special teams coverage
by the Golden Mules on that one.

Speaker 4 (01:49:17):
But a tremendous job by Wesley Barr at number forty.

Speaker 2 (01:49:22):
Great field position over mcdebit to begin the drive here Now,
with four point fifty two left to play in the third,
Crusaders up twenty four to fourteen in this game.

Speaker 4 (01:49:31):
Well can kind of repeat what we said here to
start the half. I mean, it just feels like if
mcdebit's able to get a three score lead, and especially
now when we're only five minutes left in the third quarter.
I think that's huge trouble for Solanko. But I do
expect the Crusaders to mix the run and pass, and.

Speaker 2 (01:49:55):
They do run this one of the outside. It swoops
and swoops. Tackled down at the forty three yard line.
Nice tackle out there. I have but number seventeen, Game
four and for the Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (01:50:06):
Yeah, if you just joined us, I mean Gabe four
and came into tonight with one hundred and thirty eight
tackles to lead the gold Mules. They have several guys
with gaudy numbers. Bard had eighty five coming in. Khalie
Hines the linebacker, had eighty five stops coming in. Bryce Cox,
the defensive end who we called out earlier, he's he

(01:50:27):
had sixty seven coming in. He's made a big play tonight. Two.

Speaker 2 (01:50:31):
What outs to the foresight to bashing back the pass
fires went over the middle and this is complete to
the fifty yard line and down to the forty two
And I believe that was Gage Ruth on the reception,
and it was Yeah, it looked.

Speaker 4 (01:50:43):
Like Gage was gonna lose control of the ball for
a moment. Didn't it army, but he was It's kind
of like slipping through his fingers. But he gathered himself
and turned up field. And I'll tell you what, Gage
Ruth is a clutch player. We saw that in last
year's postseason. And there's fifteen yards and first down for mcdebit.

Speaker 2 (01:51:04):
I loo click, he was bent over and he just
kind of snapped back and he almost brooke it. But
he does pick up a big first down for mcdebit
at the forty two yard line. Under four minutes left
to play in the third quarter. Crusaders up twenty four
to fourteen. One white out to each side of the field.
Liam Fuller goes in motion. They'll run this one up
the middle and coming to the outside was LaRue just

(01:51:26):
couldn't get away from the defender in their number seven.
I believe that's Anderson Miller on the tackle for other
Golden Mules.

Speaker 4 (01:51:37):
So Lanko's defense, as we as we knew coming in,
super aggressive, flying downhill, gang tackling, just pretty much what
you'd expect when you looked at their numbers coming in,
and they've been up, been up for this challenge all night.

Speaker 2 (01:51:52):
Crusaders have one wide out to each side of the field.
Sebastian has that brown going motion. The Crusaders will run
this one up the middle and again a nice stop
as they spin LaRue down.

Speaker 4 (01:52:08):
Wait, now, this is what I was alluding to earlier
about you kind of have to decide how you're gonna
call the game. That's very similar to a play earlier
that mcdeviac got called on. Two or three white jerseys
on them. Okay, that's fine, those guys were already involved
in the play. One other guy comes in pretty late.

Speaker 2 (01:52:30):
So it's third down and seven for mcdeviit at the
forty yard line. Crusaders break huddle just now, Gage, Ruth
and John take quick on the far side.

Speaker 4 (01:52:44):
They've chewed some more time and by the time they
snapped this ball, we're going to be down close to
two minutes. Except now there's a time out to fourteen.

Speaker 2 (01:52:53):
Let's take one as well. Mcdeviitt up twenty four to fourteen,
two thirteen left to play in the third quarter. You're
listening to mcdeva football here in five Sports fourteen sixty
and ihear Radia Bishop Ming David.

Twenty twenty four five A State Champs play right here
on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:53:46):
Hi Ray, Welcome back to Rush Stadium here at Warwick
High School where Fish mc deviit Leeds Slanco twenty four
to fourteen. We're in the third quarter, two thirteen left
to play. It's the District three five eight championship game
Crusaders third and eight at the forty gage. Ruth goes
out on the far side of Telton Junior on the

(01:54:06):
near side. I think that's Maurice Barnes in the backfield
behind Sebastian. Now Sebastian goes up under center and he'll
give this from the Barnes Barnes takes it up the
middle and pushing the path forward, and of course it
looks like the mark them short.

Speaker 4 (01:54:23):
It's gonna be really close though, kind of a surprising call.
But Maurice Barnes, with that power, he needed eighty he
got about seven.

Speaker 2 (01:54:36):
So it'll be fourth and one. Looks like for mcdebitt.
Sebastian comes to the near side. Clock ticks down to
a minute forty left the play in the third.

Speaker 4 (01:54:46):
Here, end of the third quarter, twin Valley leads Susquehanna
Township twenty seven to twenty one.

Speaker 2 (01:54:55):
All right, he come the Crusaders, Gage Ruth out on
the far side. Maurice Barnes all alone in the backfield,
and it looked like I think mcnevack got him the jump.

Speaker 4 (01:55:08):
Yep, the hard count by Sebastian Williams. That's something they
work on quite a bit. If you remember last week
they did that twice to Exeter.

Speaker 2 (01:55:19):
That's a huge play in this one gives mcdebit a
first down if a minute twenty left to play in
the third and a ten point lead, and the drive
continues down to the twenty seven yard line. All right,
same situation here, Maurice Barnes in the backfield, one wide
out to each side of the field from mcdebitt and
at ten left to play now Sebastian under center. They

(01:55:42):
give this when the Maurice and Maurice taken out quickly,
might have got to the twenty six. And that's it.

Speaker 4 (01:55:49):
Yeah, Khali Hines and Anderson Miller closed that thing down
in a hurry. And there's a crusader down. It's well,
I'm trying to see here. Hopefully it's Campbell Milch.

Speaker 2 (01:56:08):
Hopefully that's a cramp situation. But we'll see here. Bisher

ten over in her sister station, news radio WHP five
to eighty. Campbell up, and I'm making his way over
here to the near sideline, walking gingerly.

Speaker 4 (01:56:40):
He's limp in favor in that ankle. Of course, he's
been banged up. The latter part of the season he
played through a hand injury. If you remember, believe it
was three games he had that hand heavily wrapped and
that just healed up and he was actually pretty healthy
coming into this game.

Speaker 2 (01:57:01):
Fifty five seconds and the cluck starts ticking. Here as
we near the end of the third quarter, mcdeviit up
twenty four to fourteen one white out. There are actually
two white outs over in the far side. Jack Dustin
goes in motion. They pitch this one to Swoop. Swoops
turns a corner and he'll be tackled down. As he
gets inside the twenty five there's.

Speaker 4 (01:57:23):
That guy again gave four and number seventeen shooting up,
just a tackling machine.

Speaker 2 (01:57:32):
So they'll spot it at the twenty four and mcdebit
will have about a third down and five.

Speaker 4 (01:57:44):
That's going to be the last play of the quarter.

Speaker 2 (01:57:46):
The crusader's making their way over here to the near
sideline as a play clock or the game. Cluck takes
down three two one. All right, So after three quarters
of play in his District three to five eight championship game,
it's pitching mcdebit twenty four in Tilanco four. You're listening
to Bishop mcdevit's football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty,
and I hear radio ma'am.

Speaker 16 (01:58:07):
I know you said this was an older model furnace,
but I can't even read the name on this thing.

Speaker 1 (01:58:12):
Does this say Thomas Edison?

Speaker 5 (01:58:14):
I think it might be Leonardo da Vinci.

Speaker 4 (01:58:18):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 15 (01:58:42):
Bowman, Oh, can you.

Speaker 5 (01:58:43):
Fix my furnace?

Speaker 1 (01:58:44):
Good luck getting parts for this old relic.

Speaker 18 (01:58:47):
Did you know that the furnace experts at a Child Bowman
can repair any model of furnace or boiler, no matter
how old.

Speaker 1 (01:58:54):
Looks like?

Speaker 18 (01:58:54):

rubbing tooth sticks together.

Speaker 4 (01:58:57):
Hah.

Speaker 18 (01:58:58):
We can get you a new mouse by this afternoon.
Is it a Joel Bowman dot com?

Speaker 3 (01:59:07):
This is Bishop mcdebit football twenty twenty five on Fox
Sports fourteen sixty.

Speaker 1 (01:59:13):
This is the type of joint best for all the
people who love it.

Speaker 2 (01:59:16):
All right, if we start the fourth quarter, it's third
and six of bashing back to pass. Fires went down
the field, and that has to be interferenced and the
flags do come. They literally just shoved the mcdebit receiver
in the back before the ball was there.

Speaker 4 (01:59:29):
Yeah, it was John tay Quick. It looked like Isaiah
Wright got there a little bit early, so that will
be uh a first down, I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:59:40):
A little bit early, like as to now compared to Christmas.
So that'll be first down, Bishop mcdebitt. So they will
spot this one. Well, it looks like players down. Looks likely.

Speaker 4 (02:00:02):
I think it's Isaiah right. I think it's number thirteen
for the Golden Mules. It's down.

Speaker 2 (02:00:09):
So mcdebit up here, twenty four to fourteen. You got
eleven fifty five left to play in this game, crusaders
with an opportunity to punch one end here and really
put themselves in good position here. So I mentioned so
many things at stay here tonight, Bishop mcdebitt, looking for
their nineteenth District three championship, which would be the most

(02:00:30):
of any team in District three. Obviously, I'm a berth
In at State Final four. Some make the trip out
west next Friday night potentially and then coach Wector looking
for a three hundredth win here tonight. I think Crusaders
can finish this off as a head coach. So still

(02:00:51):
some work to do for Bishop mcdebit here eleven fifty
five left to play as they continue to work on
the Golden Mew player.

Speaker 4 (02:00:58):
It's been a great atmosphere here tonight, obviously Solanco's first
time in the district final. Quite a you know, fan
support for them tonight as we look across at the
other side, packed stands there, and it's been a great atmosphere.

Speaker 2 (02:01:17):
No question about it, and a great facility to host
this game. So here come the Crusaders now. First down, Gage,
Ruth and John take quick out on the far side,
Holton Junior on the near side. Tess La Rue in
the backfield for Vision mcdebit, and it is he takes
it around the corner. He's got the ten, turns the corner,

(02:01:40):
he's got the six and we'll be knocked out of
bounds over there at around the seven yard line. That
looks like it's a nice run there. Liam Fuller will
check in for Bishoon mcdebbit. Maurice Barnes comes into the
game as well. Gage Ruth comes out, also coming in

(02:02:04):
as Campbell Milch for Bishoon mcdebitt. Second down, well, is
it the six yard line? Second and four for mcdebitt.
They can get a first down with that's scoring a touchdown.
Jack Dawson and Maurice Barnes stacked up behind Sebastian Williams

(02:02:26):
now Sebastian go back to pass whistles. Here's the stop
play here and mcdebitt with a maybe an equipment issue

(02:02:49):
here well not audible substitutions eleven forty eight left to
play mcdebit of twenty four to fourteen.

Speaker 4 (02:03:03):
I don't I think ja Kyle Logan probably has some
sort of equipment issue because he's not coming out of
the game, unless because he wasn't injured.

Speaker 2 (02:03:11):
There, So two wide outs to the near side for mcdebit,
one of the far and they will hand the ball off.
It's Maurice Barnes Bishop mcdebit touchdown and the Crusaders go
up to thirty to fourteen with eleven forty four left
to play in this one.

Speaker 4 (02:03:28):
Nice job by the offensive line, and of course also
Jack Dawson throwing a lead block for Reese. John tay
Quick also getting out there blocking.

Speaker 2 (02:03:42):
Grella wa Kamando attempt the extra point, Ryan Hart the
holder and Bishop mcdebitt. Now thirty to fourteen, with eleven
forty four left to play in this game. If we
wait the snap and the kick is up and it
is good, so mcdevin which then the lead to thirty

(02:04:03):
one fourteen here in the fourth quarter, eleven forty four
left of play. Will take a break. You're listening to
a vision mcdevon football. You're on Fox Sports fourteen sixteen.
I heard radio A.

Speaker 1 (02:04:14):
Nice job, Pete. I like those clean lines, fellas. Do
we have anyone that can get the green court today?
At Corey's Landscaping?

Speaker 8 (02:04:19):

Speaker 1 (02:04:21):

Speaker 3 (02:04:49):
The Boys of Fall play right here on Fox Sports
fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (02:04:58):
Maurice Barnes Junior, with this six yard touchdown run has
put Bishop mcdebit up thirty one to fourteen over Slanka
with eleven forty four left to play in this District
three to five eight championship game here at Warwick High School.
Grella will come on to kick off from mcdebit, going
left the right from the home side of things here,
and here's the kick. It's a line drive kick that

(02:05:21):
will bounce and will be filtered by the Gold Mules
at the four and they will run this one back
up to the thirty yard line, actually gets to about
the twenty seven and that's where they'll set up shop.
Here now trailing by seventeen points. And that was a
air coach on the.

Speaker 4 (02:05:38):
Yeah, he had cooked ad a nice job there and
actually looked like he was set up for even bigger
return some open space there, but he just slipped lost
his footing unfortunately.

Speaker 2 (02:05:52):
So here come the Gold Mules going right to left
from the home side of things. Here rush stadium. One
white out to each side of the field, and Cinseneig
will be taken down in the backfield back there, and
that is Zach Brown on the tackle. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:06:13):
We talked early on about the first couple series when
this defense was struggling about needing to take control of
the line of scrimmage penetrate, and you know, we talked
about Patrick Wright's tackles for loss and Jakhai Logan's and
just off the top of my head, I mean that's
I think probably the seventh or eighth TfL now and
that one's Zach Brown's.

Speaker 2 (02:06:36):
One white out to each side of the field for
the Gold Mules. Censenig under center. Cin Senega is gonna
go back to pass fires went over the middle and
this one is incomplete. He had his man board streaking
down the middle and just unable to complete it.

Speaker 4 (02:06:53):
Yeah, real missopportunity there for a huge play.

Speaker 2 (02:06:58):
And instead just a down in twelve. Now waits the
Gold Mules from their twenty six ten fifty three left
to play in this one. One white out to each
side of the field for the Gold Mules, Sinsinnig marching

(02:07:19):
out some orders here through his team. Now he goes
under center and Censennig will pitch it out at the
last second, but mcdebitt pushes it out to the sideline,
not nearly enough for the first down. As they get
to about the thirty two yard line.

Speaker 4 (02:07:39):
It was Tarn Dennis stringing that out. He's had another
strong game, really having strong playoffs, sophomore d end.

Speaker 2 (02:07:49):
I mean, if the Gold Mules have any chance, you
can't punt this ball, weight out devid no, and it
does not appear that they will one white out to
each side of the field today under center, Bard comes
in motion from the far side and just does this
quick stop. They will hand this one off up the middle,

(02:08:11):
and they are not kind to get the first down,
like Devin stops him at the thirty six yard line,
a little takeover. That's a giant step towards this District
three to five eight championship right there.

Speaker 4 (02:08:21):
And it's that duo in the middle that we talk
about a lot, Chris Thompson and Jakai Logan combining on
that stop, and Garcia a powerful runner, really able to
search forward, but with those both of those guys on them,
just a little bit of bridge too far there and
needed six. He got it, He got about four.

Speaker 2 (02:08:45):
And now mcdebitt with the ball at the thirty six
yard line of Solanko, ten forty two left to play
and leading thirty one to fourteen, Sebastian waits a snap.
He's got two wet outs to the far side. Crusaders
are just gonna run this to Swoops turns the corner
inside to thirty five and goes out of bounds inside

(02:09:09):
the twenty five yard line. Will be a first down
vision mcdebitt. That's just dominating football right there with Swoops.
Mcdebitt wearing them down. Falls to twenty three, ten thirty

(02:09:30):
five left to play in this one. Crusaders break huddle
here now two what outs to the near side, one
of the far It's a fashion of waits a snap
and they'll give this one again the swoop. Swoops cuts
inside and barrels its way down inside to fifteen of

(02:09:53):
the fourteen. This is demoralizing for a defense. You know
Oops is gonna get it and you can't do anything
about it.

Speaker 4 (02:10:02):
A nice block on the edge there from Brandon Doling,
a guy we haven't called out too much, a senior
receiver number six who's been getting some playing time in
the slot, and he did a really nice job there
to help open that up for swoops.

Speaker 2 (02:10:15):
Two white outs to the far side, one of the
near for mcdebit. Jack Ed Austin lines up to the
left of Sebastian. They give this to LaRue. LaRue tries
to put a move on the defenders and gets inside
the ten. Should be a first down for mcdebit. And
it is nine fifty four left to play, and I
think there's a player down in there for Bishop mcdebitt,

(02:10:37):
maybe a cramp situation. The Crusaders now will come to
the near side here.

Speaker 4 (02:10:47):
Yeah, it looks like LaRue cramping.

Speaker 2 (02:10:49):
Yeah, they're stretching that leg out there. Stay tuned for
our Player of the game and tonight's postgame show coming
up here. And little bit brought to you by Game
Day Men's Health defining a new era in men's health.

There deva up thirty one fourteen here in the fourth quarter.

(02:11:32):
This was a fourteen to fourteen game at the end
of one. Mcdebitt actually trailed at one point fourteen to seven.
And then they have just slammed the door on the
Golden Mules at this point, and some other opportunities even
for mcdebit to have a bigger lead in this game.
The interception and the end zone, and mcdebit was stopped

(02:11:53):
on downs at the seven yard line, but mcdebitt will
take it in the We're gonna hop off with that
cramps still in there as he hops over here to
the sideline. Get off the field so we can resume
play first and ten mcdebitt. They start the clock, two

(02:12:22):
white outs to the fore side, one of the near Sebastian.
We'll hand this one off the Barns. Barnes up the middle,
and Barnes warps into the end zone for a Bishop
mcdebit touchdown ten yards and it's all Crusaders now as
they go up thirty seven of fourteen with nine forty
five left to play.

Speaker 4 (02:12:40):
Second touchdown of the night from Maurice Barnes. This three
headed monster really all have done damage. Jerome LaRue Junior
with one hundred yards tonight, Jones Davis with ninety eight
and Barnes now with two touchdowns. They're all involved in
this one.

Speaker 2 (02:12:59):
Go on to temp the extra point for Bishoon mcdebit
Reinhart the holder, and the kick is up and it
is good. So mcdevid up thirty eight to fourteen, now
nine forty five left to play in this one, Crusader's
on their way to their nineteenth District three championship. Take

(02:13:22):
a break. You're listening to Bishoon mcdebit football. You're in

Harris Burg's elite high school football program. This is Bishop
mcdemon football on Fox Sports fourteen to sixteen.

Speaker 2 (02:14:14):
Maurice Barnes Junior is second touchdown of the fourth quarter
has put Bishop mcdebit up thirty eight to fourteen with
just nine forty five left to play in this district
three to five a championship game. Crusaders will now kick
off going left to right from the home side of
things here at Warwick High School, and here's Grella's kick.
This one will sail deep in the back of the

(02:14:36):
end zone for a touchback and Golden Mules will set
up shop from their own twenty yard line going right
to left. Trump by twenty four points.

Speaker 4 (02:14:47):
Can't give enough credit to the offensive line and the
defensive line. And you know one one person want to
mention Shakai Logan Art, who's just amazing. He goes both
ways at guard and defensive tackle. You know, coach Wector
has had the ability to not play a lot of
his linemen both ways. It's kind of rare that they

(02:15:08):
do anymore. But Jakai's the one main guy that really
really doesn't come off the field very much at all
and has had a tremendous year on both sides of
the ball.

Speaker 2 (02:15:18):
Sanseneig will take it to the outside and they will
pitch this one to the outside and pick up good
yardage up to the thirty seven yard line. And that
is number three again, that's Burgos. He's had a nice
game to night for the gold Mules.

Speaker 4 (02:15:32):
Is Zach Brown coming from behind to finally track him
down and Tyler Reinhardt also involved in that, but a
big sixteen yard game for Burgos.

Speaker 2 (02:15:42):
Well is it the thirty six yard line? Gold Mules
come up to the line here, you do have a
receiver on each end now going in motion as Burgos.

Speaker 4 (02:15:55):
And Zach Brown came across the line. It's gonna be
five against mcdebit there.

Speaker 2 (02:16:07):
And not only do the Golden mus bring these guys
in motion, but how do kind of funky things you
do it?

Speaker 4 (02:16:13):
Yeah, I mean it's just textbook, you know. It's just
like we said earlier, like watching Navy, it's just precision.
It's when you can run it the way they run it.
It's a thing of beauty.

Speaker 2 (02:16:26):
Burgos again does it and then stops, sends to the
under center. Burgos goes in motion again. They'll run this
one up the middle for a nice run, this time
into mcdebit territory down to the forty seven yard line,
and that's Johnny Garcia.

Speaker 4 (02:16:44):
Carlos Smith number ten in there at safety right now
makes the stop Garcia with a twelve yard game. They've
really kept Garcia under wraps, as I said earlier, of
all the guys that had the gaudy numbers.

Speaker 2 (02:17:03):
Yeah, I mean it's been Burgos, yep. And here's another
handoff to Garcia. And as you mentioned, mcdebitt really shutting
him down. Here is not much, just a couple.

Speaker 4 (02:17:15):
Jakai logan right in the thick of it again.

Speaker 2 (02:17:20):
So it'll be second down for the Golden Mules. As
we ticked down the eight minutes left to play.

Speaker 4 (02:17:29):
And for those of you out there that are wondering,
as I've been getting texts from friends and family listening
in about Peter's township in Pine Richland, that game is
tomorrow night. The WPIL plays three of their games at
Akroscher Stadium tomorrow, so mcdebitt will not know until tomorrow
evening who the opponent is.

Speaker 2 (02:17:48):
Here's a pitch to the outside that mcdebitt read as
well as they pitched it to Anderson Miller, and he's
tackled in the backfield for a big loss.

Speaker 4 (02:17:56):
What a play by a Khielan Smith just coming up
from his safety. Real short tackle there.

Speaker 2 (02:18:06):
Like Devin just showing you how to play this triple
option attack as they've adjusted well throughout the night. And
it's third down and thirteen now for the Golden Mules
back at the fifty yard line.

Speaker 4 (02:18:21):
And I will tell you that, as much as we've
heard about Pine Richland all year, I will not be
the least bit surprised if it's Peters Township because their
defense is legit. They've got studs, They've got three Division
ie kids on that defense.

Speaker 2 (02:18:38):
Censinig rolls after the right now fires down the field
and he gets the past to Burgos for a first down.
As Burgos came in motion out of the backfield.

Speaker 4 (02:18:47):
There yeah a nice wheel route there by Chris Burgos
and sensinig right on time, delivering a perfect ball. They
pick up eighteen yards.

Speaker 2 (02:18:58):
Balls at the thirty two yard line. Mcdebitt six forty
three left to play in o'clock ticks. So again they'll
put one wide receiver out to each side of the
field since the under center Burgos goes in motion. Again,
here's a pass that's tipped to the outside and incomplete.

Speaker 4 (02:19:16):
Yeah, that may have been Zack Brown that got got
hands on that.

Speaker 2 (02:19:23):
Yeah, he was in the vicinity of it. So I
would probably say that's a safe bet. They're gonna bring
Wesley Board back into the game for the Gold Mule offense.
Cocat here on the near side, sensing the under center,

(02:19:44):
and they will run this one up the middle and
bish mcdebitt not having any of it this time. It's
awesome fighting there. No, uh, not much of a pickup
for the Gold Mules.

Speaker 4 (02:19:59):
Jack Dawson getting involved, you know, he's another kind of
unsung guy that we we call out sometimes on special teams.
He makes a lot of good blocks as a full
back and there he's he's in there at defensive end
this series, and he's the one that wrapped up Garcia
for no. Gain on that play.

Speaker 2 (02:20:15):
Sensing under center on third and ten back to pass.
Here comes a pressure and Sensinik does get rid of it,
fires one down the field and this is almost intercepted
down the field. There were a couple of mcdeviit players
in the area.

Speaker 4 (02:20:30):
Well, there was good coverage on the play, speaking of
unsung guys, A kiel and Smith and then Carlos Smith
number ten came in and broke up the play. So
nice job by those guys. But a Kielan's had a
really good game tonight, a senior defensive back. You know
last year, he was playing really well later in the year.

(02:20:51):
Of course, a lot of you remember the big interception
he had off of Samage Beals in that state championship
game late and uh Akielan's having a real solid year.

Speaker 2 (02:21:02):
Here falls at the thirty yard line, fourth down and
eight for the Golden Mules, so they go right to left. Here,
two white outs to the near side, two to the far.
Burgos goes in motion, sensing the rolls to the right,
fires went over the backside and it's incomplete, almost was intercepted,

(02:21:26):
falls harmlessly to the ground and Bishop mcdeviitt's gonna take
over here with five forty four left to play, up
thirty eight to fourteen, and just that close now to
that District three to five EU championship and win number
three hundred for coach Jeff Wector.

Speaker 4 (02:21:42):
The two closest players to that football there were both
in blue jerseys and it was Tyler Reinhart and Shaheed Clement.
So great job there, a good stand by the defense
after giving up that initial big sixteen yard game by
Burgos and then the pass, they did a nice job
shutting that down. And yeah, they really haven't given up

(02:22:05):
any points since what midway through the first quarter?

Speaker 2 (02:22:07):
That's true. Yeah, they they scored with four thirty seven
left to play in the first quarter and they have
not scored since.

Speaker 4 (02:22:17):
Balls on the ground, Jones Davis coughed that one up
fighting for going for extra effort there, and I'm trying
to see who recovered it, but the official, the official
got the ball back so quick. I'd like to give
credit to the to the Silanca player who recovered the football,
but nevertheless, they got the ball right back at.

Speaker 2 (02:22:42):
The thirty one yard line of Ishaan mcdebitt. The five
thirty five left to play and essentially their drive will
continue here. Since the nag under center, survey's that defense
goes in motion again. Since a nig rolls out, looks

(02:23:03):
down the field, has pressure, He's going to run it
inside the thirty A blatant hold.

Speaker 4 (02:23:08):
The guy's getting held for like five yards. The kids
just kept holding him the whole time. That was crazy.
Holy cow. You could hear the crowd kind of roar
as everyone watched it right out in the open.

Speaker 2 (02:23:27):
And I've said enough tonight rather Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:23:29):
I mean that that was that was just crazy right there.

Speaker 2 (02:23:32):
I mean, and thats just it's almost.

Speaker 4 (02:23:33):
Impossible how you wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (02:23:35):
Call that cruise just struggled.

Speaker 4 (02:23:37):
It was right out in the open, and he never
let go.

Speaker 2 (02:23:43):
Second down and two from the twenty four yard line,
four forty seven left to play in this game. MC
debit's up thirty eight fourteen two white outs to the
first side. Burgos goes in motion, sins a nig under pressure.
He's going to run it up to the twenty and
a nice tackle. They are on the side. They were there.
I think that was that smith unattacked.

Speaker 4 (02:24:03):
Yes it was a kling smith. But they are going
to move the sticks there.

Speaker 2 (02:24:12):
Clock stops for the first down balls at the eighteen
yard line. They do start the clock here now is
we're down to four to twenty three left to play
in this one. Golden Mules at the mcdebit eighteen yard line. Coke,

(02:24:32):
the wide receiver in the far side, all by himself,
sends a nig under center and they will hand this
one off up the middle to Garcia, who tries to
spin his way down to the eleven yard line.

Speaker 4 (02:24:47):
Yeah, a tough run there by Johnny Garcia. They had
a heavy package on the right side of the line
and he went straight up the gut. Got seven yards.
Zach Brown on the stop.

Speaker 2 (02:25:06):
So three thirty eight left to play second down and
three for the gold Mules at the about the mcdebit
eleven Sensinnig under center again. He's got one white out
over on the far side and they will try a
quick handoff up the middle and mcdebitt blows that thing
up quickly. Might have got a yard out of it,
and that's it.

Speaker 4 (02:25:27):
Yeah, Zach Brown and somebody one of the linemen for
so Lanka is limping and is kind of kind of
going to the ground here.

Speaker 2 (02:25:40):
Cluck stops. Three ten left to play here, mcdebit up
thirty eight to fourteen. We've had two Maurice Barnes touchdowns
here in the fourth quarter. It was twenty four to
fourteen mcdebitt. At the half, it was fourteen fourteen at
the end of one. As Rob was saying earlier, Burgos
would score with four to thirty seven left to play

(02:26:02):
in the first quarter, and now the gold Mules have
not scored since. As it's been all Bishop mcdebitt Crusaders
defense adjusted and the offense start making some plays. Debitt
Crusaders have definitely left some points on the board in
this game as well. Could easily be talking about a

(02:26:23):
fifty two to fourteen type score. But they'll take thirty
eight fourteen, I'm sure at this point. So they will
continue to work on the Golden Mules player. Tomorrow night
on Fox Sports fourteen sixty, we'll have Hershey Bears hockey
for you at six thirty was Zach Fish as the
Hershey Bears will take on the Lake Erie Monsters out

(02:26:44):
in Cleveland. The Bears came up with the win last
night out there.

Speaker 4 (02:26:49):
And it's Desmond Ferguson. Sorry to cut you off part,
it's the injured Golden Mule lineman. And one thing we
never mentioned. We talked a lot about their success this year,
but all five of those offensive linemen are juniors. Yeah,
so they're all back next year, as is the quarterback,
Sensinig and Wesley Bard. So they have a lot of

(02:27:11):
kids back, a lot of their key guys, Hines the
linebackers back next year. Tristan Brown, the kicker, defensive back.

Speaker 2 (02:27:23):
He will be a handful to deal with next year,
that's for certain. Censinnig under center, and they will pitch
this one of the outside at here and taking it
into the end zone for a touchdown. That's number forty.
That's Wesley Bard. He's had a nice game tonight, and
that makes bish mcdevid's lead thirty eight to twenty with
two forty six left to play.

Speaker 4 (02:27:48):
Yeah, nice nice action there where Bard was coming across
from the top of the formation, Sinsinnig just pivoted and
toiled it to him here on the bottom, and he
he had quite a lane to goin from the ten untouched.

Speaker 2 (02:28:06):
So it's thirty eight to twenty. Mcdebitt president won't go
for two here. Tristan Brown will kick the extra point
and this one is blocked and no good, so mcdebitt
keeps the lead thirty eight to twenty two. Forty six
left to play in this game. We'll see if we

(02:28:28):
see an on side kick coming up here by.

Speaker 4 (02:28:30):
H yeah, you gotta think so.

Speaker 2 (02:28:34):
So mcdebit's lead is eighteen. They'd have gone for two there,
They could have made it down they sick.

Speaker 4 (02:28:44):
I'm a little bit surprised.

Speaker 2 (02:28:45):
Make it a two score game, but mcdebit will take it,
and they block it and stays an eighteen point lead.

Speaker 4 (02:28:54):
Unfortunately, final score in the four A game, Twin Valley
has defeated Susquehanna forty one to twenty one. So great
season for the Tribe comes to an end. Of course,
mcdevik grad Joe Heat and having a great year after
all the offseason turmoil in that school district and Joe

(02:29:16):
keeping his job and you know, kind of a storybook
with his players really rallying behind him and having a
tremendous year. Great win for their program, beating why I'm
missing last week and a heart stopper on the last
play and came up a little short tonight. But congratulations
on everything that Susquehanna did this year and coach heating

(02:29:40):
as well, of course, always a crusader.

Speaker 2 (02:29:42):
Yeah, congratulations to them and they will always have that
memory of last week. What just an amazing way to
end the football game against Why I'm missing one of
the greatest finishes in a high school game you ever see.
And it was literally like Montana to Clark. Yeah, in
the back of the end.

Speaker 4 (02:30:00):
I mean Torren Evans just bought so much time in
that play and just kept it alive and he looked
you know when you I mean I watched it on video.
I wasn't there, obviously, we were at our game, but
he just looked so calm and he just you know,
kept it alive and putting that ball in the ends
end just am an amazing scene.

Speaker 2 (02:30:23):
So they took a time out here.

Speaker 4 (02:30:26):
Yeah, mcdebit took a time out, and I better be
safe and sorry, right, Yeah, make sure you're make sure
you know what you're doing out there on this on side.

Speaker 2 (02:30:36):
You don't want to mess around and let him get
it to be too close here. You still got the
eighteen point lead.

Speaker 4 (02:30:43):
Brandon doling out there. Just some of these guys in
the front row r J Duffy, Patrick Wright, Maurice Barnes.
You see Zach Brown, Akhealan Smith. Then John d. Quick
is right behind that first line of Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (02:31:01):
So here we go. They'll attempt the uside kick here
Tristan Brown, and here we go. Here's the unside kick.
It bounces up into the air and I think mcdebit
came out of it there with Patrick it.

Speaker 4 (02:31:19):
And I'll tell you what that was a heck of
an effort by Tristan Brown. He got a great bounce
that was very difficult to handle on. For a split second,
I thought it was going to hop over the Crusader's
front line, but Patrick Wright was kind of going backwards
and was able to snatch it out of the air
just as it crossed the fifty yard line. So nice job.

Speaker 2 (02:31:42):
Patrick Wright is such a fun player to watch it,
and he really did just rip that thing down.

Speaker 4 (02:31:48):
There's a penalty here against mcdebbit. I missed what the
signal was personal foul, can't I can't really say I
know what that was for. Yeah, Patrick, great, just great

(02:32:09):
job going up and getting that out of mid air.
But apparently something went on there after the play.

Speaker 2 (02:32:16):
The important thing is mcdeviitt has the ball first down
and ten from their own thirty five. They lead thirty
eight to twenty to forty four left to play, and
Sebastian waits to snap two white out to the far side.
Crusaders will run this up the middle and get about
three on the carry that time that swoops I believe

(02:32:40):
with the run the yes it was so it'll be
second and seven and the Golden Muse do not take
a time out. A little surprised at that to twenty left, so.

Speaker 4 (02:32:57):
We'll probably be uh most like heading to Altuna. I'm guessing.

Speaker 2 (02:33:03):
Thanksgiving weekend, Black Friday, probably Black.

Speaker 4 (02:33:08):
Friday, making me miss the Eagles Bears game. I know
you're sad about that art.

Speaker 2 (02:33:16):
I'm sure you'll be uh be glad to give that up.
And they will run this one up the middle with
swoops up to the forty two yard line and clud
continues to run here in Abbie. It's like they do
take the time out of a minute forty eight left
to play in this one.

Speaker 4 (02:33:37):
And as we mentioned, it'll be you know, the battle
of the heavyweights tomorrow out there in Pittsburgh with Peters
Township Pine Richland to two formidable teams. Obviously mcdebbitt played
Pine Richland last year in that round and really controlled
that football game. I think we opened up a lot
of eyes around the state the way they won that

(02:33:58):
game with the running game and just punishing Jones Davis
in that offensive line. The defensive line also was very
physical and controlled the Pine Richland front. It'll take a
similar effort. It'll take exactly that effort against either one
of those teams from the Whippill. You know, Peters Township

(02:34:21):
is very physical. They have two defensive ends, rest and
Layman and Lucas shannfl going to Pitt and Stanford. They
have their quarterback Nolan de Lusia, who's also a safety
going to Villanova. Pine Richland. Obviously we all know about
Jay Timmins speedster and Khalil Taylor their transfer who's also

(02:34:45):
a big time four star kid that had been committed
to Penn State. Ubi Straighter, their quarterback has a Syracuse offer.
So there's a lot of flash in that Pine Richland team.

Speaker 2 (02:34:56):
Third and four from McDevitt and it looked like they
jumped off. Yeah, and the flags do come and that
should be a first down, I believe for McDevitt.

Speaker 4 (02:35:07):
So either way it is going to be Obviously, you
get to a state semi final, you expect you're gonna
play a big time opponent with studs in multiple areas
of their team, battle tested kids. You know you'll love

(02:35:27):
having your program be a part of a game like that.
But that's the kind of game you're gonna face in
a state semi finals. Mcdebit tries to repeat.

Speaker 2 (02:35:35):
Jack Dawson goes in motion. They'll give this from the swoops,
and swoops will take this one up to the fifty
yard of mind games. Three. Yeah, last year in that
game out there, Altuna a monster game and them and
you think back Stone only had to throw the ball

(02:35:55):
I believe six times in that game for mcdebit to win.

Speaker 4 (02:35:58):
Yeah, Jones Davis had two hundred and twenty one yards
in that game. And I remember one of the big
plays you remember Pine Richland did kind of get within
two scores and had the ball and were driving, had
a chance to really maybe close it. And there was
a big fourth down where they ran Timmins on a

(02:36:19):
jet sweep and Lucas Lawler made the hit there cause
the fumble.

Speaker 2 (02:36:26):
I believe Stone had a big pass. Did John Tate
quick for a touchdown that really put that game out
of reach, and McDevitt was on their way to the
state championship game in Thegainst Roman Catholic minute forty one
left to play, they did take a time out there
Merceders on the sideline here talking things over here. This

(02:36:49):
one is just about in the books. Here coach Jeff
Wector getting ready to celebrate his three hundred win as
a head coach, and here is Alma Mater Gage Rifk
goes out in the far side, John Tate quick out
in the far side as well. Sebastian Williams awaits to

(02:37:11):
snap and they will run this one on the near
side up the middle to about the forty seven yard line. Again,
that swoops.

Speaker 4 (02:37:23):
And Vincent Henry, number six, we've called his name several
times tonight making that stop.

Speaker 2 (02:37:30):
That cluck can just run. Now is no timeouts left
for the gold Mules.

Speaker 4 (02:37:35):
Newman Garetty leading Trinity in a PIAA game twenty two
to twenty. It's still still tight there for the Shamrocks.
I don't know how much time's left though.

Speaker 2 (02:37:46):
Two what outs to the far from mcdebitt, one to
the near and Sebastian in no hurry to snap this thing.

Speaker 3 (02:37:55):
Is.

Speaker 2 (02:37:56):
They will hand this one off to Swoops again. Push
his forties got the first down and that should steal
this thing. Up here now fifty three seconds left and
mcdebit up thirty eight to twenty over the gold Mules.
Gold Mules have had a outstanding season, but Bish and

(02:38:20):
mcdebitch is too much. Gold Mules at Lancaster eleven in
League Section three champs their first appearance in this District
three championship game. They were a worthy opponent here tonight,
but Bishop mcdebitch is too good. Sebastian Williams will go
up under center. The Crusader's about ready to be crowned

(02:38:42):
District three champs for the nineteenth time. And there it
is balls on the ground and they do wind the clock.
Seventeen seconds left to play. Mcdebitt faithful here in the
near side begin to cheer and Bishop mcdebitt has done
it again. They are the twenty twenty five District three

(02:39:05):
five A champs. It's win number three hundred for coach
Jeff Wector. Crusaders now with nineteen District three champs, more
than any other District three team and I would say
that qualifies them as the Kings of District three football
and Bishop mcdebitt will advance to the state Final four.
We'll probably head out west to next Friday and we'll

(02:39:26):
take on the winner of the Peters Township game out
there and the Crusaders champs again thirty eight to twenty
the winner of Peter's Township in Pine Richland Tarbaza, and
we will take a break as the Crusaders champs again.

the District three to five A champion here in twenty
twenty five, mcdebitt now with nineteen District three champions or championships,
the most of any team of District three. Coach Jeff
Wecktter winning his three hundred winn as a head coach

(02:41:39):
and Crusaders advance to the PIAA State Final four. Let's
recap this game here for you tonight. Way back in
the first quarter, Chris Burgos with a forty three year
touchdown run put the Mules up seven to nothing. At
that point, mcdebbitt would hindserback on Moose immediately touchdown pass
from Sebastian Walliam said John take quick seventy eight yards

(02:42:01):
to tie the game at seven. A long penalty field
drive against mcdebitt would be finally capitalized on a twenty
one yard touchdown run by Burgos to put the Golden
Middle was up fourteen to seven. Mcdebitt would answer back
quickly a minute and a half later LaRue Junior forty seven
yard run. It was tied at fourteen after one Aiden

(02:42:22):
Grella a forty yard field goal that was a big
kick put mcdebit up seventeen fourteen. In the second quarter,
and the Rue would score from about fourteen yards out
with two fifty eight left and half. Mcdebitt went to
the locker room up twenty four to fourteen. Crusaders defense
took control. There was no scoring in the third and
then Rhys Barnes junior with two touchdown runs in the

(02:42:42):
fourth quarter, a six yarder and a ten yarder that
blew it open. Mcdebit was up thirty eight fourteen. West
Bard with a ten yard run here in the fourth
quarter made it thirty eight. Twenty extra point was blocked,
and now that was the scoring forty in this game.
Here tonight, as the Bishop mcdebitt Crusade District three champs
once again, take a break. You're listening to Bisho McDavid

(02:43:04):
football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and Iraradia, ma'am.

Speaker 16 (02:43:08):
I know you said this was an older model furnace,
but I can't even read the name on this thing.

Speaker 1 (02:43:14):
Does this say Thomas Edison?

Speaker 5 (02:43:16):
I think it might be Leonardo da Vinci.

Speaker 4 (02:43:19):
I'm not sure.

Speaker 1 (02:43:20):
My repair handbook goes back as far as the Renaissance.

Speaker 18 (02:43:24):
Can I be of service, heywoman? When your furnace is
old and gruffy, When a quick repair could give your
old equipment a few more years of life, one man
will be by your side, fighting for truth, justice and
a team with experience.

Speaker 2 (02:43:39):
Tell Boman.

Speaker 6 (02:43:42):
The ah Child bowman, bowman, Oh, can you fix my furnace?

Speaker 1 (02:43:46):
Good luck getting parts for this old relic.

Speaker 18 (02:43:49):
Did you know that the furnace experts at a Chill
Bowman can repair any model of furnace or boiler, no
matter how old looks like.

Speaker 16 (02:43:56):
The pilot light on this thing is just a mouse
rubbing tooth sticks together.

Speaker 4 (02:43:59):
Hah.

Speaker 18 (02:44:00):
We can get you a new mouse by this afternoons

Speaker 3 (02:44:09):
It's now dime Brar Player of the Game, brought to
you by Game Day Men's Health, defining a new era
in men's health.

Speaker 2 (02:44:20):
All right, welcome back to Brush Stadium here at Warwick
High School for the final time. Here tonight's where Bishop
McDevitt District three five eight champs once more is they
defeat the gold Mules of Solanco High School thirty eight
to twenty celebration taking place down in the field time
for our Game Day Men's Health Player of the Game.

(02:44:41):
Game Day Men's Health defining a new era in men's Health.
I'll let a Robgleise give me his Player of the
Game first before I go.

Speaker 4 (02:44:51):
I'm gonna split it. I can't do anything else. There
was too many guys that just had huge games here tonight.
One of them's got to be Patrick Wright. I mean
four tackles for loss, all of them solo, and they
had to have big plays on defense, and he really

(02:45:11):
stemmed the tie with those efforts. Team made the four
tackles for loss. But I also have to chip in
and give some love to John tay Quick one hundred
and seventy yards receiving some big plays really opened up
this defense tonight with his big playability after the catch.

Speaker 2 (02:45:32):
This is definitely a tough one here tonight because this
was a team win. I'm going to what we'll split
it as well, but I'm going to say the entire
mcdebit defense as one of them. And this was a
really tough offense to stop gold Mules prolific offense scoring
a lot of points, and that mcdebit defense, it just
adjusted after they gave up fourteen points there in the

(02:45:54):
first quarter. They just shut the door on the Golden
Mules and kind of gave up a meaningless touchdow down
here late in the game. But the mcdebit defense just
dominant again when they needed to be, and they made
the adjustments that they had to. And offensively, let's throw
it in there, that mcdebit offensive line tonight. They were
able to give Sebastian time to get the ball down

(02:46:15):
the field to his receivers, and so we'll throw that
in there. We'll give it to the entire mcdevit defense
and the mcdevit offensive line tonight. That might be a
cop out, but well, no one's getting paid any money
for this. So those are the game day ment health
players of the game. So Rob mcdebit wins here tonight,
thirty eight to twenty. Coach Jeff Wector, I mean, you

(02:46:38):
really know Coach Wector is three hundred win What do
you think is going on in his mind right now?

Speaker 4 (02:46:42):
Well, I know he's obviously happy, and you know he
will he will downplay it. And you know, coach is
always tremendous about giving credit to everybody else. That's just
who he is. You know, he wasn't going to make
this week about him at all. This is about the
district title and one step closer to a state title.

(02:47:05):
But three hundred victories is an amazing thing. I mean,
he's only the twenty second coach in Pennsylvania history to
do that. You know, they haven't had a losing season
at mcdebit in like twenty five years.

Speaker 2 (02:47:21):
That's crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:47:21):
I mean so you know, he's got seventeen seasons of
ten wins or more. You know, he's now fourteen and
two in district championship games. Obviously, he's won won two
state titles. He's played for six. He's already in the
Hall of Fame. I don't know if if our listeners

(02:47:42):
realized that he was inducted into the Pennsylvania State Football
Coaches Association Hall of Fame in twenty twenty three that spring.
So he's already a Hall of Famer. And now he's
got the three hundred wins to boot, you know, a
select company twenty two people ever, and I'm just thrilled
for him. It's just an absolute thrill to be a

(02:48:03):
part of this football program and see what he does
with these young men. And you know, one thing we
should also say, those wins are great, but he's got
probably more wins than three hundred when you talk about
all the young men that he sent to college, and
not just the Division IE kids, the Division two kids,
the Division three kids, you know, kids that he's helped

(02:48:25):
get opportunities that maybe would not have gotten an opportunity otherwise,
just kind of changing lives. He's probably as proud of
that as anything else.

Speaker 2 (02:48:35):
Yeah, this's Bishop mcdeviit team. I mean, we're looking at
three state championships in four years. And I mean they
have the tools to finish the job. Obviously, it's going
to take a great effort against two solid football teams
moving forward. But and you look at the offense right now.
The offensive line is playing well. It's a dominating running game.
They have several receivers who are making big plays, and

(02:48:55):
Sebastian Williams is playing the best football he has all
year long. You have a dominating defense that even when
they were kind of throwing a change up here tonight
against this triple offense of of of the Golden Mules,
mcdevin adjusted and dominated eventually. So I mean you have
all the parts, special teams, the special teams coverage has

(02:49:15):
been great all year, and you have a fantastic kicker
and Aiden Grella. So I mean the pieces are there
have to finish this job.

Speaker 4 (02:49:22):
Yeah, I mean they can certainly do it. I would
not I would not put anything past this group. I
think I just have a suspicion that, you know, the
media will have the whippy old team favored next weekend,
and I don't think it'll bother this group one bit.

(02:49:42):
You know a lot of people favored Pine Richland last
year going into that game, So, you know, cliches, we're
gonna We're gonna sound like we're spouting cliches, but that
game is gonna come down to, you know, who controls
the line of scrimmage, who makes the fewest mistakes. You know,
can't turn the got to cut down on the penalties.

(02:50:02):
I mean, obviously some of them are bad calls, but
you have to control what you can control. You can't
have pre snat penalties. You cannot, you know, have too
many men on the field, you know, those kind of things.
You got to control the controllabulls. And I'll tell you what,
Aiden Grella is a huge weapon in a game like that,
and Ish Palmer's a huge weapon in a game like that.

(02:50:22):
So I like mcdevitch's chances.

Speaker 2 (02:50:25):
Yeah. I mean, when the score was tied at fourteen,
they're coming out and kicking a field goal from forty
yards out to put mcdebitt ahead for the first time
all night. That was huge. And they just continue to
play great on special teams. You just don't see the
other team do anything, even if they kick off short
and you're stunned if they run it back pass to twenty.
So mcdebitt peaking at the right time, just getting everything

(02:50:47):
done the right way, and mcdebitt on their way to
the state Final four with a game next week against
Pine Richland or Peter Township probably on Friday night. We're
guessing out tune, but we'll have to find out for sure,
but Rob, fantastic job as always, thanks Art. Likewise, Marty
