(00:38):
you bringing us Bisher mcdebit football Crusaders are going to
receive to start this game as Chambersburg will kick off
going right to left. On the press box side of
things here at Rockworth Tendzu Stadium, looks like Ish Palmer
is back deep for Bishop mcdebit, standing at his two
yard line and Chambersburg about ready to kick this thing
off because that's a number. I'm trying to see who
(01:01):
that is here's Ish Palmer returning it up the field.
He goes, he's all the way up to the fifty,
to the forty, thirty five, thirty, twenty five, twenty, he's
to the fifteen season Brown somehow.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Makes a great moove and it's into the end zone.
We're a pitching mcdevi a touchdown. Just like that.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
The Crusaders go up six nothing eleven forty six left
to play here in the first quarter.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Just a great return. A kick was rather short. John
take Quick, John take Quick. When the return he was
one of the upper backs of the three that were
back there. He took it, just came right up the middle,
and he might have touched once around the forty yard line,
and then he just outran everybody. But at the end
(01:44):
already had to make some great moves to stay in
bounds and not get tackled, and he did so.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
The Crusader's up six nothing eleven forty six left to
play here in the first quarter, and Grella will come
on to kick the extra point. Smith though order, and
we'll give credit to John day Quick on that opening kickoff.
And here's the kick. It is up and it is good.
(02:10):
So take a break here eleven forty six left to
play in the first quarter. Mcdebit, just like that up
seven zip over Chambersberg. You're listening to Bisha mcdevid football.
You're in Fox Sports fourteen sixteen IRO.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
All right, John Ta Quick with an eighty seven yard
kickoff return for a touchdown, Just like that, blush mcdeviit
up seven nothing over Chambersburg. Here at Rocker attends you,
Stadium art selby Marty Booman. Here Tonight, Connor and Elabac
in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Here as Grella's kick.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
This one is high and deep, and this one will
sail out of the end zone for the touchback, and
Chambersburg will start here with their first drive of the
night trail and seven nothing.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Marty really just missed putting that over the crossbarts back
to the end zone. It's gotta be tough for coach
Garrit Carter Chambersburg. I mean, he probably goes back to
last year's game. He shows the guys the first half,
he said, here's where we work. It's a really a
state champion football team and everything. Yeah, and then okay,
here we are and you want to get off to
(03:57):
a good start, and you get Steam World by John
take quick Well.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
That was our Green Spring Advisors winning game plan, get
off to a great start. And mcdebitt definitely did it.
There threw it, takes the snap, rolls to the right,
fires one down the field and this one is complete
out there to number two Tasker for a short game
of about three really second down and seven. Tasker had
(04:22):
two mcdebit players surrounded him. That ball got in there
for the completion.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
Good throw on the run by true it, it really was.
And as you said, Art Tasker had two crusaders on
his back. He's able to hold onto the football.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Chambersburg in the all white jerseys with looks like to
be blue numbers, white pants and white helmets. Fishy mcdebit
tonight and the all blue with the gold helmets, some
new uniforms for mcdeviitt, looking sharp out there, going in
motion to Scott and Chambersburg will go up the middle
there that time, and Debit defends it. Well, nothing there
(04:54):
at all for the quarterback. So they'll have a third
down and long now about seven.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Fake the handoff on the jet sweep Art and wanted
to keep himself. R j Duffy was just all over that.
Probably a loss of one or two. So it'll be
third and six for the Trojans.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Third and six.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Going right to left from the press box side of
things here Rocker attends to you stadium. It's like Taskers
in the backfield. They got three white outs to the
near side, through it back to pass. Here comes the
pressure fires one. It's intercepted by Bishop mcdevon. I think
that's r. J Duffy takes it to the ten and
goes out of bounds at the six.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
R J Duffy just sort of playing a little bit
of a short center field there, drops back from his
linebacker position. He was really the only one in the air.
Not a real good thrill there, unfortunately as far as wise,
but RJ gets it. He turns it down to the
six yard line.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
So Bishop mcdeviit already up seven. Nothing in business here
to go up by two score.
Speaker 8 (06:02):
R J.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Duffy's really been playing some great football for Bishop mcdebitt
this year. We had him as our mcdebit Player of
the Game in Week one against Clarkson North. Had a
nice return on a kickoff last week for Bishop mcdebit
and it was all over the field defensively. Now he
gets the big pick to start this game.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Jul LaRue to set back for mcdebbit.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Williams under center. Dawson goes in motion. They'll hand this one.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Off to LaRue.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
LaRue up the middle and he gets down to the one.
So mcdebitt just that close from scoring again.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Good h cut back by LaRue at the line of
scrimmage to pick up five.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
Here your saders break cuddle.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
They'll have Dawson and LaRue still in the backfield for
Bishop mcdebitt. Williams under center and Sebastian will hand this
one off to Dawson and he is in the end
zone for a Bishop mcdebit touchdown and the Crusaders go
up thirteen to nothing. With nine forty two left to
play here in the first.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Quarter, stoffs in the fullback there, the blocking back, and
coach Wector and the staff choose to reward him early
here right.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yeah, he's been playing Kaint Dirk. Yeah, he's been playing
really good football for mcdebbit as well these first two weeks.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
And it's the one yard TD there, Ubrella on the
attempt the extra point. Smith the holder again here for
Bishop mcdebit, and the kick is up and it is good,
So take another break. Nine forty two left to play
(07:44):
here in the first quarter. It's Bishop mcdebit fourteen and
Chambersburg nothing. You're listening to the Bisho mcdebit football here
in Fox Sports fourteen sixteen.
Speaker 3 (07:53):

Speaker 1 (08:35):
The game everyone circles on the schedule. This is Bishop
mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 2 (08:44):
All right, welcome back to Rocker Attendee Stadium. He or
Fisher mcdebit Highchool Crusaders up fourteen to nothing over Chambersburg.
Now or j duffy with the interception there, and mcdebit
finishes off the drive at one year touchdown run by
Jack Dawson. And it's all mcdebit so far here tonight,
just two minutes and eighteen seconds into the game. Now
Brella will kick off the sun pretty much behind the
(09:06):
clouds now off in the distance, and it's a beautiful
red collar color. Here's the kickoff this and we'll be
caught at the five. Chambersburg will return this to the
twenty to the twenty five, still going all the way
up to about the thirty six yard line.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
And I think that was DeVante.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Scott on the kick return for the Trojans that were
on the far sideline.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Marty good return on a line drive kick that you
really don't want to kick it that way and give
him that return, and they did a nice job of
getting that good field position out. Would you shy the
thirty five yard line art if you're a Hollywood Alley
Dodger crowd that gets there forty five minutes an hour,
you missed an awful lot already.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah, Chambersburg with a nice crowd over there on the
far side, so a lot of their fans did make
the trip up here.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
That is good to see. That really is good to see.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
So here's a quick pass to the outside out here
to Scott and Scott takes it for forward to about
the forty two yard line, so they pick up seven
on first down. They're a nice play for the Trojans.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
It was one of the uh with debit. Secondary guys
overran that the pass was right there and he had
a bead on him and he won the receiver and
he overran it and Trojans able to pick up eight.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
They'll come with three wide outs on the near side
this time, and one in the far one back in
the backfield. Now, quarterback yelling out some instructions to his team.
Is a truet waits that snap, he's back to pass.
He's gonna fire one over in the far side, and
this one is just incomplete too far down the field.
(10:45):
Good coverage over there for Bishon mcdebitt by Austin mack.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
It was. I mean, that's one of the things you'll
see with teams. They might have a receiver that can
get a step or two, a half a step, but
they not. But the rush mcdebit puts one, it's tough
for the quarterbacks to stand back there and get it exactly.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
I have to say hi to a couple of people
texting me. Either're listening tonight or Buddy J. C. Floyd
listening tonight and Tara saying down and Chattanooga listening to
us as well. Here's the pass over the middle, and
this one's batted down. A great defensive play by Tyler
Reinhart out there, and that'll make it fourth down for
the Trojans.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Tyler Reinhardt came off of that safety position, read it
really well and did a nice job, as you said,
art of knocketting out down. The ball was going to
be on target, but Tyler's able to just and get
in there with the free hand.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Yeah, Tyler was all over that one, no doubt about it.
So fourth and two from the forty two one man
back deep for Fish and mcdebitt. That eight and zero
sometimes looked good.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
It's the same.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
That's that's why I called ishand opening kickoff. Here's the
punt they do get this one off. Does look like
Ish on this one and Ish takes it on the sideline.
He's down the sideline, but there was a flag back
at about the thirty eight yard line.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
They got a hold of a block in the back
there early on on that run. So that's why I
know you didn't get too excited.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
You saw the yeah that way. Yeah, So they'll bring
this one back. But what a start for Bishop mcdebit
against a Chambersburg team that came in here to and zero.
Chambersburg trail twenty one to nothing last week. Against cd East,
but mcdebit obviously a different, different animal to deal with,
(12:44):
and they'll bring this one back here. This one'll come
back to the twenty seven yard line. That's where the
Crusaders will set up shop.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Going left right, Marty, I have to think the junior
quarterback Williams, wants to get a little bit of flow
on his part here. I'm sure he opportunity to throw
a couple balls here on this drive.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Crusaders with two white outs to the near side. One
of the far Sebastian lines up waiting to snap. Now
he looks over here to his receivers on the near side.
Williams back to pass, fires one of the outside. This
one's complete on the outside out here out here to
(13:29):
Howard Holton junior up to about the thirty four yard
line approximately, So they do pick up about seven on
that one.
Speaker 4 (13:39):
Strong flow there are throw by Sebastian all the way
across the field and had a lot on it.
Speaker 9 (13:45):
Well.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
McDevitt lined up two guys within like a few yards
of each other. One guy drags one of the defenders
deep and then Harold Holton comes up underneath that.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
So they go of two white outs to the far side.
One of the near d Austin lines up on the
end for mcdebit, one back in the back to now
Jack goes in motion and they'll hand this one off
to Maurice Barnes, and Maurice pushes his way up the
field for a first down up to the forty yard line.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
So first and ten. Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (14:16):
Barns with a pickup of five there.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
So the spot had just shy at a forty, but
be first down in ten Bisha mcdebit so mentioned mcdebit
in the dark blue jerseys with the white numbers, in
the dark blue pants with the gold stripe down the
side and their gold helmets. They'll come with three wide
outs to the near side, one to the far Sebastian
(14:42):
will hand this one off to the near side, that's
LaRue and LaRue takes it up to.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
The forty eight yard line, a nice gain of about
eight for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
It's just simply that, as you said, are today sweep
out here to the right side. LaRue goes off tackle.
He finds the hall able to pick up eight.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
So second and two for Bishop mcdebit. Proceeders huddle up
here right now, and your break cuddle. It's like Gage
Ruth and John Tay quick. We'll go out on the
far side for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Just too wide. A double tight end here for the Crusaders. Actually,
this one tight ends set off in the backfield.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
And LaRue in the backfield and they'll hand this one
off to Laruie. He delays for a second half, cuts
off to the left, has the first down and more
down to the forty five yard line. So another first
down Bishop mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Here's some quick numbers. LaRue three carries twenty yards. He's
certainly having a good first quarter here.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
You have swoops if a little banged up here tonight mcdebitt,
with flots of talent in the backfield to be able
to run the ball and getting to see LaRue a
little bit more here in this first quarter, Crusaders have
two white outs to the near side, this time Sebastian
again of one back in the backfield. Sebastian back to pass.
(16:13):
Has time, He's gonna fire one down the field looking
for his man Gage Ruth, and this one's going to
be intercepted inside the five. Return to the fifteen up
to the twenty and a nice tackle over on the
far side of the field there that around the twenty
three yard line. So Bishop mcdevin turns it over there.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
I'm sure Sebastian would like to have that backguard. He
was flushed out, was going to his left stop set up.
He's got the strong arm, but that was really into
triple coverage. Yeah, there was only one receiver out there
and three defenders for Chambersburg.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Just trying to give his man a chance to make
a play on that one.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
And that's pretty much it.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
Jesus.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
So Chambersburg has it first down and ten from their
twenty two yard line as they go right to left.
Now two white outs to each side of the field,
one back in the backfield, and here's a handoff up
the middle.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
For not maybe away an.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
We'll be second down in about nine for the Trojans.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
Looks like tennis to Ron Dennis in there.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
So Dennis and Thompson on the stop for Bishop mcdeviit
on that one. Chambersburg looks over to their far sideline
to get the play from their coach Carter over there.
Two white outs again to each side of the field,
one back in the backfield for the Trojans. True it
(17:52):
awaits to snap throw it back to pass fires one
of the outside. This one is caught out here by
Scott and Scott is buried at about the twenty nine
yard line by like. There are three tacklers in there
for Bishop mcdebit on that one, Martin.
Speaker 4 (18:07):
Mcdebit, R J. Duffy and the ball chance really got
the first hit on that adjusted he adjusted well art
to come off of his man and make the tackle.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
So third and two from the thirty for the Trojans.
Three wide outs to the far side, one in the
air and one back in the backfield with Truett. Truett
surveys the defense, looks.
Speaker 3 (18:35):
To the right side.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
Now he comes back over the middle and this pass
is knocked down over there. I think Smith hit the
receiver in the back and knocked it free. So it'll
be fourth down and two for the Trojans.
Speaker 4 (18:45):
Great timing thereby a kill of Smith. I thought for
a second they might go for it on their own thirty.
But here comes to punting team now.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
So this time Ish Palmer in there. We'll go back
deep for Bisho mcdebit, and it looks like Truitt will
punt here again for the Trojans. So Ish standing back
at his thirty six yard line, Tewitt standing on his
sixteen And now I have a stoppage of play here,
(19:24):
and it looks like we'll have a time out vision mcdebit,
So we'll keep things here, Bisha mcdebit. Football is brought
to you by a Constellation Energy Free streaming of tonight's
game and the Game of the Week are brought to
you by Constellation, producing clean, reliable energy, empowering new opportunities
for families and communities across Central Pennsylvania. We bring the
energy and tonight's player the game. After the game, coming
(19:47):
up in the postgame show will be brought to you
by Game Day Men's Health, defining a new era in
men's health.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
So listen to that as this.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Game wraps up tonight, Bisha mcdebit. Football also brought to
you by Select Physical Therapy. Discover the power of physical
therapy with Select Physical Therapy with over thirty locations throughout
Central PA. They're here to tackle your aches, pains, and
everything in between. Get back to what you love called
Select Physical Therapy today. So Truet standing again at his
(20:16):
seventeen yard line. Ish Palmer back deep at around his
thirty eight mcdebit up fourteen to nothing, four forty left
to play, and here's the punt. This one will be
caught by Ish at the forty two, puts it on
the ground, is able to go back and get it,
and goes out of bound somewhere around the fifty yard line.
So mcdeviit gets a break there.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
Ends up ends up about a ten yard return Art
and at mcdebb A very fortunate there's Ish really catch
cut that almost at full speed. Yeah know, it's short
in front of him and he runs up at full speed,
and that will happen. You know, when you do that
sometimes you're just gonna lose the football.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
So the ball spotted just on the edge of the fifty.
You have four to twenty eight left to play. First
quarter mcdebit of fourteen zip two white outs to the
far side, one of the near and one back in
the backfield.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
That's LaRue. They give it to.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
LaRue turns the corner on the side, pushing his way
up over the forty for a first down down to
the thirty nine yard line of Chambersford and the chains
will move.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
For Bishop mcdebbitt, LaRue thirty one yards on four carries right,
average is just under seven and a half per our.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Carrity getting a taste of exactly what he can do.
And you got to like what you're.
Speaker 2 (21:31):
Seeing if you're coach Wector. Well, it's at the thirty
nine yard line. Sebastian Williams has the play, takes it back.
Sebastian looks over on the sideline. Here now the crusader's
all brick cuddle. That's Gage Ruth on the near side.
(21:51):
For Bishop mcdebit, it looks like and here's another handoff
for mcdebitt, and that is LaRue again and gets down
to the thirty seven yard line. Gets two on that one.
We'll be second down and eight for the Crusaders.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
The debit with a very pro look art there with
an old style pro which is wide on each side.
Everybody bunched and tight at the line of scrimmage.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Second and eight.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
It to thirty seven for Bishop mcdebitt. Liam Fuller checked
out there. For the Crusaders, we'll go with two wide
outs on the fore side this time one of the
near It's like Dawson and there is a blocking back.
We'll give this one the Barnes who follows that left side,
and not much for Reese this time as he gets
to about the thirty six gain of a yard and
(22:44):
we'll have third and seven for Bishop mcdebit a alredy
interesting question. If Debit doesn't get this, is Wector let
Grilla try fifty three yard field goal?
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I mean it's good for the If you could say
the word practice, I mean in a game situation, does
he let him do it? I think it would depend
on what you know, what fourth and whatever is right?
Excuse me?
Speaker 2 (23:18):
That might be a good question for the coaches interview
next week. Well, we'll see what happens here is they
let the clock tick down to two twenty and mcdebbit's
going to call you time out here on this third
down five, we'll keep things here Fish mcdebit. Football is
brought to you by Green Spring Advisors. Depending on your

(24:02):
football brought to you by Constellation Energy, producing clean, reliable energy,
empowering new opportunities for families and communities across central Pennsylvania.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
We bring the.
Speaker 4 (24:12):
Energy interesting here artist. Normally you wouldn't see mcdebbreh just
left the play clock go down and then take a
time out in this situation in the game, But Coach
Wector wanted maybe a teaching moment.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Three white outs to the near side one of the
far Sebastian Williams back to pass. Now he's gonna scramble
and be sacked back at the forty yard line. Is
how the Trojans get there?
Speaker 3 (24:37):
That Tom Mardy.
Speaker 4 (24:39):
Yeah, they did, and Sebastian had collapsed around him and
he just wasn't able to get out fast enough.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
So it looks like mcdebitt will punt here as the
clock takes under two minutes left to play in the
first quarter. Grilla out there standing back at about his
forty five yard line and the Trojans punt returners standing
inside is ten.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
And here's Grella's kick. High booming punt.
Speaker 2 (25:13):
This one will bounce at the five yard line and
McDevitt almost down to it at the one, but it
just takes a kind of an odd bounce and goes
into the end zone for a touchback.
Speaker 4 (25:24):
Very close to letting that, you know, killing that thing
on the two yard line. A forty yard punt by Gorilla.
A lot of height on that.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:35):
Really it was a good kick to see him from
high school, you know, and him only taking over those
duties toward the end of the year last season. I mean,
that was great. It was a nice high kick and
it checked up inside the five and as you said,
it just took that It's a football, it's gonna take
a football bounce and it did.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
That was a major league pop up right there, is what.
That thing was way high up into the air. So
here come the Trojan trailing fourteen nothing, minute twenty nine
left to play, first quarter here rockro Tenziu Stadium. They
go right to left on the press box side of
things here at rockro Tenzio Stadium. Truett's kind of run.
It himself this time tries the right side and goes nowhere.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Lost a lot. Penalty flags come reining in. We'll see
what that is.
Speaker 4 (26:24):
The back judge saw something from literally thirty yards away
or he was about to fifty through that flag down
about to twenty. We'll see. Well, there's true. It just
wasn't able to get the corner right.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Mc debit just wouldn't give him anything at all, and
he just couldn't turn up field.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Thersaders just built a wall there and there's nowhere for
him to go. So holding Chambersburg, I think mcdebit's gonna
decline it since they lost so much on that first
down run, make it second down and fourteen back at
the sixteen.
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Give them LOFs of four and a player. A good,
good decision here, I think by coach Wector and the
staff to just decline at and give them second and long.
Give give Chambersbrook two players to get fourteen here.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
So Truitt goes back in there. Now the Trojans have
three wide outs to the near side, one of the
far one back in the backfield with Truett. Truitt just
a junior, and now penalty flags come flying in again
(27:37):
right in the middle of the field.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
There looks like movement, and indeed it is when chambers
were we'll start, yeah, They now backed up to a
second and nineteen.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
That flag looked like a little bowling ball kind of
rolling in there in the middle of the line there,
second and nineteen for the Trojans back at a round
the eleven yard line, it looks like cluck down the
(28:09):
well making some adjustments. So the Trojans have three wide
outs to the near side, one to the far one
back in the back of the Mcdebit threatens the blitz
and now another flag comes flying in.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
That's offside mcdebbitt. They threatened the blitz, and they came
with the bridge blitz, and they came a little bit
too early.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
Clock says forty one seconds left to play here in
the first quarter, and that'll make it second down and
fourteen at the sixteen yard line for the Trojans of Chambersburg.
We mentioned earlier, nice nice crowd here supporting the Trojans
that were on the fore side, and a very.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
Good turnout for the student section tonight.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Are you making a lot of noise earlier tonight in
the pregame show.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
And lots of old people like us here too, Art
Jeez McDavid, faithful for all the.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Years Chambersburg switched some of their receivers around. They'll have
two on the near side, mcdebitt threatening the blitz on
second and fourteen, and Truett will hand this one off
up the middle and mcdebitt all over that because they
knock them back for a couple of yard loss and
it'll be third down and probably like sixteen or so
(29:30):
for the Trojans.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Awesome was one of them in there. Campbell miltsch was
one of them also.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
All right, that's gonna end the first quarter of play
here Rock Rotenzio Stadium. It's Bishop mcdebit fourteen, Chambersburg.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Nothing.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
You're listening to, Bisho mcdebit football here in Fox Sports

Harris bergs ee Elite high school football program. This is
Bishop mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
All right, welcome back to Rock Ortenzio Stadium. Here at
Busha mcdevit high schoo art selby Marty Bowman, Connor and
Eli back in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios and
the Trojans with the third down and fifteen from the
fifteen yard Vaughn as we switch ends to the field,
they're going left to right, Truett, we'll hand this one off.
And Bishop mcdebitt read that one well because they take
(31:28):
their running back into backfield and lost a couple more
on that one, and the Trojans are gonna have to
punt as it's fourth down and forever.
Speaker 4 (31:34):
The delay are really a little bit of an old
fashioned draw.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
So that was Tasker on the run to.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
Ron Dennis in there for the crusader's art. Unfortunately for Chambersburg,
the left right tackle just could not hold that block
at all, and mcdebbitt had three blue jerseys all over
him and then all over the ball.
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Carrier Ish Palmer all inside the forty. There's a chambers
bird hunting here from their own end zone at this
point and heavy pressure, he is able to get that
one out of there. Palmer catches it at the thirty eight.
He's got the thirty five still on his feet inside
(32:19):
the twenty five and down to the twenty three.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Got a ten yard return for Palmer.
Speaker 2 (32:24):
There and penalty flag down two back at the twelve
yard line. You see what that's all about. Lace returned
there by Ish Palmer. He was excited on that one marty.
He was he was standing inside the forty. Couldn't wait
for that ball to be kicked.
Speaker 4 (32:43):
He makes people miss for sure.
Speaker 3 (32:47):
Officials talking things over here, see what the verdict is.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Deb it up fourteen nothing, ten fifty nine left to
play in the first half. I know Rob just mentioned
on the PA Chambersburg of a fantastic looking marching band
over on the far side over there, so we'll get
to see them here coming up at halftimes.
Speaker 4 (33:16):
I would certainly have to think I'll hold that until
later in the year. But that, other than State College,
that might be the biggest band we see all here. Yeah,
that's a very good turnout music wise for it.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
You love seeing that, you do, you do, really do.
So here's the call. It's going to be against Chambersburg,
and so holding chambers Bird and mcdebitt's offense will come
(33:49):
on to the field here now falls at the twenty
four yard line of the Trojans. Is mcdebitt going right
to left now in there running back for Bishop mcdebit,
and now.
Speaker 3 (34:06):
I think they were just forgot to pick up their flag,
up the flag. Yeah, all right, we're ready for play
now as a whistle blows.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
Two big beefers in there and uh Boston and Zach brown.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
Yup and LaRue in the house shield. So give it
to LaRue cuts outside, choose some speed. He's got to
twenty turns the corner. Unfortunately, flags come flying as LaRue
dives for the pylon. Temporarily it'll be a touchdown that's
coming back. Yeah, and illegal block by Bishop mcdebit is
(34:43):
the call.
Speaker 4 (34:47):
Kind of a shame because I think Laroux had the
corner art without.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
Yeah, he showed some great speed on that and then
some explosiveness to dive for the pylon for the touchdown.
But as we mentioned that, he's going to come back.
So it remains fourteen nothing Vision mcdebit ten forty eight
left to play in the first half, so we'll see
where they spot this.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
So they'll uh having a heck with Tom spot in
this ball. Mcdebbit's up fourteen to nothing.
Speaker 4 (35:30):
Sneah. I was wondering when they were going to move
this back right, they were going to mc debit the
first and ten where they were without moving.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
It back falls at the twenty seven yard line of
Chambersburg Crusaders. Now with it, one white out to each
side of the field, one back in the backfield with Sebastian,
A little high snap of Sebastian gets it, gives it
to LaRue. The roue on the outside, knocks down one
guy gets on side to twenty five and we'll get
down to the nineteen yard line or so where he's
(35:59):
pushed out of bed and a nice run there by LaRue.
Speaker 4 (36:02):
It really was art and you can see you mentioned it.
You can see where the high snap messes up the
time into the play. It wasn't there for LaRue keep
it inside, so he had to get outside and did
a nice job and picked up five.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
So second and five, Bishop mcdebit. From the twenty ten
thirty seven left to play. First half, Crusader's up fourteen nothing.
Next Friday night, Bish mcdebbit, we'll travel over to West
Shore Stadium and take on Cedar Cliff. We have that
game for you here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty six
thirty pregame show, Chambersburg just trying to hang in there.
(36:40):
The trailing fourteen to nothing. They're two to zero in
the season, they trailed twenty one to nothing. As we
mentioned last week, to.
Speaker 4 (36:46):
Play a game on mcdebit Epp tough time tonight. It
seems you think Art tough time getting Sebastian getting into
plays and getting back into the huddle. So that'll cost
him five.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
So yeah, back into twenty five mcdebitt with one wide
out to each side of the field, one back in
the backfield, that's Maurice Barnes, Sebastian back to pass fires
one of the outside. This one is caught out there
over in the far sideline over there and around the
twelve yard line for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
And uh Harold Holton. I believe there.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Might have been John Ta John Tay Quick, Yeah, John
take quick on that one.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
It's so hard to tell hard.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
Yeah, So first twn Bishop mcdebitt, like the fourteen yard line,
Sebashion has to play from Coach Wector takes it back
to the huddle. Crusaders break cuddle in their blue jerseys
with the white numbers, blue pants and the blue and
(37:49):
gold trim down the side, two white outs to the
near side. It's holten and quick on the near side
for Bishop mcdebitt. And here's a quick pitch to Maurice.
Maurice has got to ten and is powered out of
bounds it around the.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Seven yard line. It looks like some reech Barnes Junior
on that game.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Light or nine, I don't know that where they're spotting
it back a little bit of take at the seven.
Speaker 2 (38:17):
He is just so tough to stop at. I like
what mcdebit did last week because they put him in
as a in the full back position and he was
able to take two in for touchdowns for McDevitt.
Speaker 4 (38:26):
Yeah. And I like that pitch yard, I really do. Yeah,
And we talked about it last week where Barnes was
already at speed.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
So Holton Junior is out on the far side as
a wide receiver for Bisho mcdebit. I think Johntay's out
there as well to bashing back to pass kind of fire.
Speaker 3 (38:44):
Went over in the corner.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
He's got his man wide open for a Bishop mcdebit
touchdown and the Crusaders go up twenty to nothing.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Here.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
That was Howard Holton Junior on that one, Marty and
just a well thrown ball. It's twenty's at mcdebit nine
to play first half.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
It was a very well thrown ball, and somehow on
that side there was maybe some plund coverage because how
Harold Holton Junu was out there all by himself.
Speaker 2 (39:14):
They ran a nice route and Sebastian put the ball
on the money there. Au Grella on attempt the extra
point for Bishop mcdebit second straight week, Chambersburg down in
that twenty one nothing hole. Well that's that extra point
is good and kick us up and.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
It is so.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Bishop mcdebit had a Chambersburg twine. Forty one left to
play first half. Will take a break. You're listening to
Bishop mcdebbit football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and
iHeart Radio. Bishop mcdebbit football is brought to you by

Speaker 1 (40:20):
The Blue and Gold play right here on Fox Sports
fourteen sixty.
Speaker 3 (40:28):
And welcome back to rock Or Tensiu Stadium.
Speaker 2 (40:30):
Here at fish mcdevid High School artelby Marty Booman, fish
mcdevid up twenty one to nothing after Sebastian Williams is
able to hit Howard Holton Junior their seven yards out
to put the Crusaders up twenty one ZIV. And now
Grella will kick off going right to left from the
press box side of things here at Rocker Tenziu Stadium.
Here's a line drive high kicked, It bounces and goes
(40:53):
into the end zone for a touchback, and Chambersburg will
set up shop trailing twenty one nothing and the Trojans
are gonna do anything in this game. They got to
get it fired up on this drive.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
Yeah, that time aiding Grella, I think he got his
hop skipping a jump in order hit a line drive,
but hit it deep into the end zone.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
So here come the Trojans nine to forty one left
to play first half. Mcdebit up twenty one to nothing.
Trewett one back in the backfield. It's like he's got
two receivers out on the far side, one of the near,
and Truitt fires one of the outside a dangerous pass.
It's it is caught out there by a tasker, I believe,
(41:36):
and he's taken down immediately.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
The killing Smith with great coverage Art. He couldn't have
done that any better without interfering with the guy. And
as soon as they they got to catch Smith wrestled
him down.
Speaker 3 (41:49):
I had visions of a pick six there for a second.
Speaker 4 (41:53):
It would have been quite a short pick six too,
about eight strides into the end zone.
Speaker 2 (41:59):
So it'll be second down in ten. They'll call it
no gain on that one.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Again.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Two receivers out on the far side for Chambersburg, one
of the near. Now they'll bring a man in motion
and they'll hand this one off up the middle. Looked
like RJ. Duffy was in there immediately for the tackle.
Chris Thompson in there.
Speaker 4 (42:22):
Yeah, RJ and Chris, they were both there. Chris Thompson
in there for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
So they lost the yard on that one. We'll call
it third and eleven. Back to the nineteen two white outs,
this time for Chambersburg on the near side, one of
the far again, one back in the backfield. Now they'll
move him. That's DeVante Scott. Now he'll come back on
(42:49):
the near side again. They'll line up three wideouts on
the near side, one of the far and now looked
like a false start, I think that time on Chambersburg.
Speaker 4 (42:58):
Yeah, they were trying to do I think atle bit
too much for what the offensive line could handle.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
Scooby Doo in the crowd here tonight, Marty walking down
in the concourse down here.
Speaker 4 (43:11):
Had I known, Had I known, I would have brought
my Scooby Doo lounge pants for lack of a better word,
and had that autograph by the real Scooby do here.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
Okay, maybe the mystery machine's out in the parking lot
out there. That might mean some trouble, all right, Three
white outs on the near side, one to the far
and here's a.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Pass to the outside that looked like kind of a.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
Shot put throw out to the outside out here, and
Scott is able to catch it. But nothing there at all,
and the Trojan's just going nowhere now against this mcdebit defense.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Good cutcher by Davante Scott, but as you said, art
really just great coverage by the mcdebit defense. There not
any room for Davante Scott to think about turn the
lit upfield at.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
All those passes that he did complete. I mean, it
was unbelievable that he was able to complete those passes.
I mean the coverage was just all over the receiver
and they really didn't get any anything at all out
of them. But so they'll have to punt this thing.
Palmer standing back at his forty five and he's got
(44:20):
it and tries to cut outside, turns the corner he's
got to thirty five thirty twenty five, twenty, jumps over
one of the defenders and gets all the way down
to the one yard line. And that's one of those plays.
I'd love to see a replay of that one because
he just showed some serious speed on that one.
Speaker 4 (44:37):
I think they're gonna bring that back. There's a flag
it to nineteen. This is strictly I guess I think
they're gonna look seeing a holding when refindicated holding against
mc devit. I thought they were gonna, you know, impose
the eap leaping rule, whatever that is. I mean, I'm
not exactly sure. I know there's certain times when you
cannot leap a defender. But he was up. I mean,
(45:01):
his palmer was really up.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's a roy just seems to depend
upon who's refing the game that night.
Speaker 4 (45:11):
Going to be exciting to watch him this year, ark
for sure.
Speaker 3 (45:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (45:14):
I mean it looked like they had him wrapped up
and he wasn't going to be able to turn the corner.
And I mean he just left that guy in the dust,
turned the corner and went down the sideline. And so
that'll come back to the twenty nine yard line after
the penalty on McDevitt. Seven forty four left to play.
It'll be first and ten Crusaders going right to left.
(45:34):
Already up twenty one zip Crusaders huddling up on the
near side. Here, Sebastian Williams will go out there. LaRue
Junior's out there, John Tay Scott, Horod Holton Junior. It's
like Liam's out there as.
Speaker 4 (45:50):
Well, follering there at the tight end spot.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Here come the Crusaders. We'll go with the two white
outs on the near side. Sebastian Williams back to pass,
fires one looking for it all and he's got his
man Holton Junior for the Bishop mcdebit touchdown twenty nine
yards and the Crusaders go up twenty seven and nothing.
Seven thirty five left to play first half. Couldn't throw
the ball any better there, Marty.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
You could not throw it any better. I watched holtany
He put a move on a defender. Actually there was
two defenders there somewhere about the twenty yard liner, so
he split them and then he had to step on
him and Sebastian Williams. That was a perfect pass and
Harold Holton concentrates, has to turn around catch it with
(46:36):
his back to the back line and makes the catch.
Speaker 2 (46:42):
So Grella on no attempt the extra point for Bishop
mcdebitt Smith the holder for the Crusaders. It's it down,
kick is up and it is good. So seven thirty
five left to play first half. It's all Bishop mcdebitt.
Crusader's up to twenty eight nothing over Chambersburg. Take a break.
(47:02):

Speaker 1 (47:48):
Thanks for listening to Bishop mcdebit football.
Speaker 15 (47:51):
Now back to the field.
Speaker 4 (47:55):
Marty Bam alongside Art Selby. Here, Bishop mcdebbit up twenty
eight seven thirty five left in the second quarter. I
want to get that offensive line quick to you. Aiden
mctish left tackle, standon Colbert left guard, Chewed slover the center,
Jakay Logan right guard, and Andre Mienna is the right tackle.
Speaker 2 (48:19):
Here's the kickoff by Grella and again this and we'll
sell into the end zone for a touchback and not
giving Chambersburg any life at all, because they will take
over now after the touchback down twenty eight to nothing
with seven thirty five left to play in the first half.
Speaker 4 (48:35):
All right, that was a beautiful, beautiful throw and catch.
That was just a great combination there between SEB Williamson
and Harold Holton Jr.
Speaker 2 (48:50):
It's just a very confident, beautiful, well throwing ball right
down the middle of the field. Holton got some separation
there and it's all Bishop mcdebitt right now, Trojans with
two white outs to each side of the field, one
back in the backfield, So Trewett back to pass, he's
(49:11):
gonna try and the air one out up the field
up here to Tasker. It's incomplete. But a penalty flag
comes flying in as I'll call a penalty on Smith
on that.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
Got him up with the collar at the very last minute.
The ball was overshot and almost as it hit the ground,
he got him up with the collar. Of The ref
actually explained it to Smith why he felt that he
had to call that one, And sometimes it's good for
a ref to just explain, Okay, here's what I thought
you did, you know, And even though it was late,
(49:41):
it was at the very last second, so.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
So fifteen yard penalty against mcdebit. Balls at the thirty
five seven, twenty nine left to play first tap mcdebit
up twenty eight, zip to three. It's actually on the
near side for Chambersburg. This time one to the far
again mcdeviit threatens the blitz. Looked like they jumped early
there and the flag does come flying out a little delayed,
(50:11):
but eventually did come.
Speaker 4 (50:13):
Yeah, it did look for sure. Yeah, let's see someone
there was really Campbell Milts was really anxious on that one.
Speaker 2 (50:24):
So make it first in fifteen back at the thirty
devid up twenty eight to nothing. Here, just a very
festive night here at Rock Rotenzio Stadium, the home opener
for Bisha mcdebit.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (50:42):
Of course, the two tough games not here to start
the season in the York Rose Bowl Class to get
neutral site down there against Clerkson North from Canada, and
then last weekend at Severnsfield at Harrisburg. Here's a quick
pass to the outside, Bisho mcdebitt ready for that one
is Pennick caught it and he had no chances fish
(51:05):
and mcdebit got in there and shut it down immediately.
Speaker 4 (51:08):
Tyler Ryan Art read that perfectly, Art, And as you said,
he went up to get it. When he came down,
his feet hit the ground and Tyler rein Hart hit him.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
You just don't have time to like throw a pass
with that much air under it to the outside against
his mcdebit defense. I mean, you're gonna get wrapped up immediately.
So second and eighteen now for Chambersburg. Back to twenty
twenty seven. Three white outs to the forest side for Chambersburg.
(51:38):
It's like taskers in the backfield standing to the right
of Truett.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
And now.
Speaker 2 (51:47):
A time out Chambersburg with mcdeba twenty eight to nothing.

brought to you by Constellation. We bring the energy. So
second and eighteen back to the twenty seven yard line
for the Trojan six point thirty nine left to play
first to have mcdebit up twenty eight nothing here at
Rocker Tenzio Stadium. Threw it back to pass, gonna try
and fire one down the field. And this one is incomplete.
(53:11):
And that one was just kind of throw into the
wrong shoulder there. It looked like Stocksledter was the intended
receiver on that one. It'll be incomplete, Marty.
Speaker 4 (53:18):
Yeah it was, But I thought he had enough time
to see the ball and he just did not adjust
enough to get it in. Was not that bad of
a thrown ball.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
Yeah, he gave his his receiver a chance to get
that one. And mcdevid a little lucky on that one too.
So third and eighteen at the twenty seven they'll come
with three wideouts on the near side here, actually two
wideouts and a tight end. Now one back in the
(53:50):
backfield threw it back to pass. Here comes a pressure
running for his life over towards the far sideline, and
he will be tackled down at around the yard line.
I think that's actually Cam Green in there. Now a
quarterback for Chambers.
Speaker 4 (54:03):
Raid pursued by Maurice Barnes, showing off that speed that
he has from the linebacker spot.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
So Chambers, we're gonna have to punt here. Now he'll
be four from twenty four at the twenty seven yard line,
clock ticks the six minutes left to play. First half
twenty eight's at mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (54:24):
We'll give you that mcdebit front quick. The dns A
Jack Dawson and Dennis d tackles Chris Thompson sha Kai Logan.
Speaker 2 (54:35):
Some late substitutions for mcdebitt. Looks like some confusion there.
Speaker 3 (54:41):
Is now.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
The whistle blows penalty flag down up and around midfield.
Speaker 3 (54:49):
It looks like.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
So illegal substitution. Bishop mcdebitt, Kimball Milch will check out
for the Crusaders.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
So sorry, Art, those backers from mctavity, Maurice Barnes, Duffy
and Zach Brown and his second secondary Austin mack Tyler, Reinhart,
Aquilan Smith.
Speaker 2 (55:19):
So it'll be fourth down in nineteen into twenty six.
So they do get this one off quickly, and Ish
Palmer fumbles the kick, picks it up back at the
twenty six trying to put some moves on chambers Per
turns around, comes to the near side. He's got the
thirty still on his feet and finally taking down at
(55:41):
about the thirty eight yard line, and he ran a
long way to get to the thirty eight yard line.
Speaker 4 (55:48):
Well, the diminutive just so quick out there by Ish
and Art. The nice thing what you saw coming up
there was the deeper he went back. You could see
more chambers where players were going to commit, and he
was able to get outside. Fortunately, you know, Chambersburg has
(56:11):
some good pursuit after they got beat around that corner.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
So Bish mcdevid up twenty eight and nothing five to
eleven left to play here in the first half.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
Crusaders will take over.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
Somewhere around the thirty nine yard line, or so it
looks like, and they'll go right to left from the
press box side of things here at rock Ertendziu Stadium. Actually,
now they'll they'll bring this one back.
Speaker 4 (56:37):
Mark off, gave it an interference. I think I thought
they were going to call it in the block, back
in the block or a holding.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
Bit, so they keep walking back further with it.
Speaker 4 (56:55):
Yeah, I think they just walked off two penalties here
because ishe was right in front of us here around
the forty five and mcdebbit all the way back at
Tea they had moved it to twenty nine. Now it's
at the nineteen.
Speaker 2 (57:12):
So five eleven left feen play first down in ten
mcdebit three white outs to the fore side. They fake
the handoff and fire a pass to the outside out
there and down the sideline goes Bishop mcdebbit all the
way up to the forty six yard line. I'm trying
to see if it's either John Tay or ish Ish Palmer. Okay,
(57:35):
Ish caught that one boy?
Speaker 3 (57:39):
Is he fast?
Speaker 4 (57:40):
The dominutive Ish Palmerhart at five six and ways in
at one he is fleet of foot.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
Yeah, if you blink he's gone. So five O two
left to play an unfortunately a player down for Bisho
mcdebit ever in the far sideline and hopefully that's just
a cramp. It looks like they're stretching out the leg.

Call Select Physical Therapy. Today and Bishop mcdebit football brought
to you by a Constellation Energy free streaming of tonight's
game in the Game of the Week are brought to
you by Constellation, producing clean, reliable energy and powering new
opportunities for families and communities across Central Pennsylvania. We bring
(58:39):
the energy. Bish mcdebbit bringing the energy so far tonight
because they lead twenty eight to nothing over Chambersburg. Five
oho two left to play here in the first half,
and Ish does slowly make his way over here to
the near sideline. No help needed, like we said, hopefully
as just a cramp and doesn't even look like the well, actually,
(59:05):
they'll check him out here a little bit. Here's a
handoff from mcdebit up the middle and they'll take this
one up to about the forty two yard line, and
that was LaRue Junior got three. It'll be second and
seven for Bishop mcdebitt. Clock ticks down the four forty
five left to play first half.
Speaker 4 (59:26):
It carries unofficially fifty one yards for Jerome LaRue and Junior. Yes,
I had that junior in there.
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Four twenty seven left to play first half. Mcdebit up
twenty eight zip Holton Junior the long loan wide receiver
in the far side. Jack Dawson goes in motion. Sebastian
dumps one of the outside to Jack Dawson and he
catches it. Not much there might actually they lost the yard.
Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
Yeah, I believe Dawson. It was a minus one.
Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
I thought he was actually trying to throw it out
here to the wide out and he just dumped it
off quickly to Dawson there. So checking out of the
game is Holton Junior For vision mcdebitt quick will go
out on the far side with Gage Ruth.
Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
I thought we'd I was going to say it. I
would have been totally wrong, but I thought we'd see
a little bit more of the running game on this drive.
Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Sebastian Williams back to pass, fires one out to the outside,
and it's complete up to the forty eight yard line.
Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
The gauge Ruth and mcdebbitt with a fourth down and.
Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
Three put that back to the forty seven art So.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Looks like they're going to go for it here up
by twenty eight. It'll be fourth and two at the
forty seven. Larrens for a second, look like he was
gonna check out. He'll stay in there.
Speaker 4 (01:01:06):
See if they want to go power here.
Speaker 2 (01:01:09):
You'd think Reeves would be getting to carry on this one.
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
He's lined up with.
Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
It's a fullback again there, like we talked about last week, and.
Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
This was a tight end. Two tight ends two in
the backfield.
Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
They give it to Rees and he tries to push
forward and I'm telling you where they're coming in. I
think he's just an eyelash short.
Speaker 4 (01:01:33):
Yeah. The referend of fire side indicated it's Chambersburg ball.
Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Just tried to power that thing in there. Reese Barns
Junior and Chambersburg defense does a nice.
Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Job, so officials will.
Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Spot this mcdebit offense is still standing out there in
the field, so now they're going to measure it.
Speaker 4 (01:02:11):
So mcdebitt got him to do the measurement.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
It's real close.
Speaker 4 (01:02:20):
I mean, if anything is almost the nose of the football, that, yes,
the nose end is.
Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
They bring the chains out here and yeah, he's just just.
Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
Short literally two inches maybe artist as it looks for
a year. So it was worth the measurements for mcdemmit.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
Yeah, absolutely, it's close.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
So the Trojans takeover troll twenty eight, two thirty nine
left to play first half. They'll have the ball at
the mcdebit forty nine yard line, chance to maybe put
some points on the board. Headed into the locker room
and the debitt's defense looking to shut things down here.
So here come the Trojans as they'll go left to
(01:03:11):
right from the press box side of things here at
Rocker Tendio Stadium, one back in the backfield, one wide
out to each side of the field that is number
nineteen in there in the past, comes to the outside
out here into mcdebit's territory down to the thirty four
yard line as Cam Green the quarterback in there.
Speaker 4 (01:03:33):
Nice job there, aren't they We're in the wide out
down the field, clear that area out, then came underneath
the slot and pick up a first down. Well executed
by the Trojans. All right, As you and I watched
that play, we're almost lined up perfectly with where that
first down was, or wasn't. I thought the rep spoted
(01:03:53):
exactly where it was by the naked eye. Thought Barnes
was just literally short.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
Yeah, yeah, I agree. Three white outs to the far
side for the Trojans, one to the near.
Speaker 3 (01:04:05):
Green.
Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Just a sophomore quarterback for the Trojans, kind of lift
one out here on the near side, and good coverage
for Bishop mcdebitt. So he tried to hit Panic down
on the side, but Chance was all over them on
that one.
Speaker 4 (01:04:20):
Marty, Yeah, the bar Chance was. It was good coverage,
and I thought that was actually maybe their best chance
of getting a completion. But Chance kind of caught up
with the play. Not that he was beat that bad,
but able to get turned around and knock the ball down.
Speaker 2 (01:04:36):
Chance just a freshman for Bishop mcdebit. They're really high
on him. Definitely a name you'll be hearing for years
to come.
Speaker 3 (01:04:44):
Here in.
Speaker 2 (01:04:46):
For Bishop mcdebitt left the play and it's like there's
a penalty on Chambersburg. That'll bring this back to the
forty five yard line.
Speaker 4 (01:04:56):
I mentioned earlier art about the flow in the Harrisberg game.
You seem to be there. This makes the Harrish game
look like they're on ice skates because this flow is
none whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
First and twenty back to the forty five. Three white outs
to the far side for the Trojans. One of the
near jam Green awaits the snap, here comes the pressure
comes to the near side. Now fires one out of
bounds over here in the near sideline. Just getting rid
of that one be second down and twenty.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
To Ron. Dennis was so held on that as he
came around off that left ends a matter of fact,
art kind of reminder of that eleven uniform that we
saw so much last year being held coming off this
left side. Yeah, Lucas, Lucas Lawler, it is so Dennis
got the uniform, so it gets to benefit of the hold,
(01:05:59):
doesn't benefit.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
All what a fantastic player. Lucas Lawler was just a
pleasure to watch just all over the place and back
to pass. Here comes the pressure. They dump one over
the middle, and this one is almost intercepted. Looked like
he had Scott and it just went over his hands
a little bit and the McDevitt defender dove and tried
(01:06:21):
to scoop that one up. And it's incomplete. I think
rein Hart was back there.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
Righthart came within a yard of being able to pick
that off after the overthrow.
Speaker 2 (01:06:29):
So third and twenty for the Trojan offense back at
the forty five yard line. They go left to right
from the press box side of things. Here rock Artenzie
Stadium again.
Speaker 4 (01:06:40):
Wide open, I'm sorry, wide open on that crossing batter
by Chambersburg.
Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
You know, two white outs to the fore side and
one of the near one back in the backfield. And
with the sophomore quarterback Cam Green Green back to pass.
Here comes a pressure again, got a fire one again.
He's got a man opening this time coming down. I
don't know, have the catch out there is DeVante Scott
for a first down?
Speaker 3 (01:07:03):
I believe.
Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
Well, we'll see where they spot it and they do
give him the first down.
Speaker 4 (01:07:08):
That is a good catch, as you're going to see
in high school football. That was a tremendous catch. He
had to high point it, go up and get hit
and you know, come down on the ground and not
let go that football. That was a great throw and
a even greater catch.
Speaker 2 (01:07:23):
Cam Green doing a nice job. He's six foot three,
a little taller, and gets rid of that ball fairly quick.
Here's a pass over the middle, and this time I
believe rein Hart got a hand in there and knocked
it away.
Speaker 4 (01:07:33):
Yeah, that was a little behind the receiver. Ryan Hart
has the coverage going across field, does a nice job.
He gets the left hand in the key, doesn't put
the right hand on the on the receiver's back. So
it's a nice play by Tyler rein Hart.
Speaker 2 (01:07:48):
I like what cam Green has given Chambersburglar right now.
Definitely tall, he can see his guys down the field
a little bit better and throw is a really nice ball.
Even with the pressure coming into his face there, he's
able to get rid of bit fast. So two white
outs to the fore side, they'll line up three on
the near side. Here comes a pressure of another pass
(01:08:09):
over the middle, and this one is incomplete. Again they
try and look in Reinhardt's direction. It's incomplete. They tried
to hit Tasker on that one.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
Good coverage here by Reinhart to get it and aren't
really there. He's throwing the ball a little sooner than
what he wants to, but he doesn't have a choice.
Mcdebit's bringing seven sometimes maybe even eight, and so the
Blue Jerseys are very close to getting it getting to them,
and he's taking some after release hits from that mcdebit
front seven.
Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
They're in ten at to twenty five of mcdebitt. Trojans
look a little confused here. They'll have one white out
over in the foreside. It looks like two wide receivers
on the near side and one back in the backfield.
And mcdebitt brings the pressure this time and just dumping
that thing off is green. Running back picks it up,
(01:09:01):
but they'll blow it dead now. It looked like there
was a flag down at the forty two yard line.
Speaker 4 (01:09:12):
There was. That's gonna be a little rough in the
quarterback and it's tuny penalty. It can be back there.
I I know that mcdebit bench is confused. We were
a little confused. They didn't blow the whistle, and I
thought the back of the judge there was the field
judge was doing that as a.
Speaker 3 (01:09:33):
Lateral lateral Yeah, light ball.
Speaker 4 (01:09:34):
Yeah, it's good thing it wasn't because the chambers were
guy ended up picking up and would have walked into
the end zone. But they finally blew the whistle.
Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
So roughing the passer and that'll bring it inside the
twenty five yard line at least still walking with it.
(01:10:05):
There's a lot of yards to move down the field
on that one. So somehow balls at the twelve.
Speaker 4 (01:10:12):
Well, that's a line of scrimmage penal. We used to
at the point of the play, but I'm pretty certain
that that's just a line of scrimmage penalty. And that's
why they rolled off the fifteen two white outs to
each side of the field, one back in the backfield
with quarterback Cam Green. Now he'll fire one of the
outside and just good coverage for mcdebit. Nothing there that time.
(01:10:39):
So second and ten back at the twelve. Clock is
down to fifty five seconds left to play. Mcdebit gave
up a touchdown of nine seconds left and half last
week in that Harrisburg game, and that was a huge,
huge turn of events in that one. Here come the Trojans.
(01:11:01):
Two white outs to the near side. Again one of
the far tight end lined up out there went back
in the backfield. He's lined up to the left of
quarterback Kim Green. Here comes the pressure and Green dumps
went over the middle. And what a nice defensive play
by Smith to bat that one down in the middle
of the field. There killing Smith, good timing, swats it
(01:11:22):
away with the left hand once again, doesn't put the
right hand on the receiver's back, no interference. Nice job there.
Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
It's the third down and ten from the twelve. They
can pick up a first down here at the two.
Speaker 4 (01:11:36):
They got two more shots at the end zone.
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
Here, play clock down to fifteen, play clock down the five.
Green awaits to snap and he will pitch it to
(01:11:58):
the outside and McDevitt defends it and reads it well.
Speaker 3 (01:12:02):
RJ.
Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
Duffy in there spins them down for a loss.
Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
Actually that was.
Speaker 4 (01:12:11):
Duffy with some help from Zack Brown Zach Brown, but
it was yeah, RJ and Zach read that perfectly. So m.
Chambersburg will have another shot at don't less they get
a first down inside the.
Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
Five thirty two seconds left to play in the half,

It'll be four and eleven at the thirteen yard line
where Chambersburg. They'll bring three wide outs to the far side.
This time one back in the backfield of quarterback Cam
(01:13:32):
Green surveys at mcdebit defense Green back to pass. Here
comes a pressure and he will fire this one over
the middle and it's almost intercepted. And Green just got
rid of that one. Looked like he was about ready
to be sacked in the back and tried to fire
(01:13:53):
a pass. Mcdebit player not able to come down with it,
and unfortunately mcdebit player down in the end zone. But
the will take over here of twenty five seconds left
and a half and leading twenty eight zip.
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Tyler Reinhart does a nice job breaking that up art
in the end zone and we have a mcdebit player
down there.
Speaker 2 (01:14:12):
Looks like it might be another cramping situation as they
stretch that leg out. I think that was Tyler that
they work on and he's able to get up and
jog off the field under his own power. Great to see.
It's a nice defensive stand there. Tyler, Reinhart and Smith
really doing a nice job down the field there. For
(01:14:34):
Bishop mcdebitt batting some of those balls down.
Speaker 4 (01:14:37):
They really did art. They didn't really allow. They did
allow Chambersburg to get deep into territory a lot of
help with penalties on that. So the Crusaders really held strong.
And the pitch that Green tried was just eating up
by Zach Brown and RJ. Duffy.
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
Crusaders will snap this one and take a knee. Hey
clocks down eighteen seconds left to play in a half,
and Bishop mcdebit will come to the near sideline here, Marty,
and they will take a twenty eight point lead. Twenty
eight zip into the locker room room Here at rockro
Tenzio Stadium is a clock takes down to zero right now?
(01:15:20):
All right, So after one half of play here at
rockro Tenzio Stadium on the for the season opener for

eight to nothing. Will take a break. We'll be back

All right, Welcome back to rock Artenzie Stadium. Here Bish
mcdebbitt High School Art Selby, Marty Bowman, Bishop mcdebbit all
over chambers for twenty eight to nothing. Mcdebbitt started this
came off quickly as they returned to opening kickoff eighty
seven yards John take quick took it to the house.
It was seven to nothing mcdebbit, Just like that. R. J.
(01:19:29):
Duffy would pick one off shortly after that and Jack
Dawson would take it in. With nine forty two left
to play in the first quarter, Crusaders were off and
running fourteen nothing. Just like we said in our Green
Spring Energy game plan tonight. As the Crusaders got to
a quick start, led fourteen zip. Second quarter and Harold
(01:19:51):
Holton Junior a seven yard touchdown reception from Sebastian Williams
made it twenty one zip mcdebbit. And then again just
a beautiful thing of to beautiful pass from Sebastian to
Holden Junior from twenty nine yards out put mcdevid up
twenty eight to nothing at that point and the Crusaders
just to have dominated pretty much from that point on.
(01:20:11):
Chambersburg was able to put a little bit of a
drive together here before the end of the first half,
and mcdebbit stopped it and Crusader's up twenty eight to
nothing at the half. As we watch the Chambersburg Marching
Band perform right now, and they do have a large
band and putting on a heck of a show here
so far here at halftimes. So take a break, take

The twenty twenty four five Day State Champs play right
here on Fox Sports fourteen sixty HLLI right.
Speaker 2 (01:28:43):
Welcome back to Rockcord Tendzi Stadium here at Bish mcdebit
High School. It's the season opener, first home season opener
for Vision mcdebit. Crusader's up twenty eight to nothing over Chambers, Bird,
Hard Selby and Marty Bowman here. Rub Gleise up here
in the press box giving us information as well, and
Marty good first half for Bish mcdebitt. As we mentioned,
(01:29:04):
it was important for the Crusaders to jump out quickly
here and they did. He can't jump out much quicker
because they get the kickoff for the touchdown fourteen seconds
into the first or into the beginning of the game
by John Tate quick and mcdebitt was up seven to nothing.
Then you get the turnover r. J. Duffy with the
pick and then Jack Dawson took it in and the
(01:29:25):
Crusaders just kind of cruised from that point, adding two
touchdowns in the second quarter from Sebastian Williams to Howard
Holton junior and it's been all mcdebit, twenty eight nothing
here to half.
Speaker 4 (01:29:35):
Yeah, mcdebit, as you said early and often and had
to be a tough ride for Chambersburg. You know, you
get off the bus, you come out, kickoff return for
a touchdown, a pick one or two plays later, and
then a touchdown again. So Chambersburg showed so oxy and
that if I think, you know, they had able to
move the ball down field a little bit, missed a
lot of opportunities on long passes down field that were
(01:29:59):
just a little too long, just a little off target.
Mcdbbitt might have got away with a couple of being
beaten the secondary on that. But that being said, I
think we were all hoping that mcdebitt was going to
get that ball back with a minute twenty left orould
have just to see them execute and to see the
(01:30:19):
junior quarterbacks of Anson Williams see how he executes the
two minute trail. But some penalties moved Chambersburg down in
this situation where they could, you know, take a couple
of shots at the end zone. Unfortunately for them, they
couldn't get it in. So that's where we stand at
twenty eight nothing and you know, good possibility we'll see
(01:30:40):
a mercy rule on mcdebitt's first possession. As usual, you know,
me and coach Wector, I always guess him wrong. And
I kind of thought there was the one drive there.
I thought he would start running the ball a little bit,
just run the ball, run the ball, just to not
that wasn't already established. But as usual I'm wrong. So
(01:31:05):
but anyway, that being said, mcdebitt way up top here.
Unless something unforeseen happens, like I'm on soon, I don't
think good. I don't think mcdebit's in any kind of
danger of losing this game. But we got to go
back to CD East. Last week, Chambersburg Trojans down twenty
one ZIP, came back and won. The thing was very
(01:31:28):
late in the game, so that was a big win.
Put the Trojans in two and zero.
Speaker 2 (01:31:33):
Yeah, if you're mcdebitt, I think you won't. Chambersburg's going
to get the ball to start the third quarter, So
try and get a quick three and out and then
kno going into the end zone. Get this in the
mercy ryal situation and then just take care of business
and get ready to go over to West Shore Stadium
next Friday night in battle cedar Cliff. But you never
know what you're gonna get with cedar Cliff. Sometimes they
always play mcdebit tough, and in recent years mcdebitt's really
(01:31:56):
taking it to them. But Cedarcliff, a lot of the
team over there is a it's always nice to have
some Hershey chocolate put down in front of you, Marty,
wouldn't you say?
Speaker 4 (01:32:08):
I would say it's awful, nice, Okay, even though it's
not about chocolate, fan art, I don't want you if
I don't want to be rude to our hosts here.
Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
We've been treated like kings here tonight up here in
the press box, hot hot dogs and hamburgers and some
bottled water and chips and all sorts of good stuff,
and some of the mcdebbit player's parents stopping up and
saying hi to us earlier tonight. So thank everyone for
the special attention tonight here for us up in the
(01:32:38):
press box. All right, we're gonna take our final break
of tonight's You Have Time Show. Mcdebit's a twenty eight zip.

Speaker 2 (01:34:51):
All right, Welcome back to Rock or attends you stadium
Here at Bisha McDavid High School teams back on the
field during the warm up drills here as we approached
the third quarter Here at Rock Pertenzio Stadium, Bish mcdebit
up twenty eight to nothing over Chambersburg. Nice crowd here,
and Chambersburg definitely brought a nice crowd with him as well,
over in the farest side and hitting the food stands
(01:35:14):
over there. As you can see over in the far corner,
of course, the new mcdebitt state championship banner hanging on
the fence tonight. Took a shot of that when I
came into the stadium the night.
Speaker 3 (01:35:24):
Awesome to see and.
Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
Bishop mcdebit in these blue uniforms tonight with the white
numbers and the pants with the blue pants with the
gold trim down the side. Chambersburg trojans come in here
tonight with the pretty much white uniforms with some blue numbers,
and there are white helmets as well. And Bishop mcdebitt
will kick off to start the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (01:35:47):
Marty, all right, you're always good at this. Give me
the lookalike uniform college or pros that mcdeviit has today.
Speaker 2 (01:35:55):
Wow, I mean they look like Notre Dame, but Notre
Dame usually doesn't have that extra stripe down the down
the pants like that, I mean, the top portion definitely
looks like Notre Dame in some ways to me? Are
you thinking to somebody else, they.
Speaker 4 (01:36:09):
Don't look like drink nobody else?
Speaker 2 (01:36:11):
That was the thing in years past. I could say
we they kind of looked like Georgia Tech a little bit.
I don't think this this team does.
Speaker 4 (01:36:21):
No, maybe some obscure arena football team, maybe like a
des Moines I or something that would be the closest
I could get. Sorry, due got a couple of just
a couple of stats here, yep, I want to share
with you again unofficial Jerome LaRue Junior. Eight carries for
fifty one yards. It's it's six six and a half,
right art, Yeah, yeah, Sebastian Williams, I have you down
(01:36:45):
as only one incompletion. That was the interception. I have
him make for fifty nine and two touchdowns. Three touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (01:36:57):
When you look at mine too, three two two because
Dawson Dawson ran one end, actually had the kick return
return he hit Holton Junior for two of Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:37:07):
That's so yeah, Halton Juniors. He's got three catches for
uh forty three yards and a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:37:19):
Sure, so it looks like mcdebitt's about ready to kick off.
Here is that Grella will kick off going let left
to right from the press box side of things. Here
at Rocker Tenzio Stadium. Two men back deep for the Trojans,
standing right at the goal line, and we're just about
(01:37:42):
ready for a third quarter action here at Rocker Tenzio Stadium.
Mark Selby, Marty Bowman, Elon Conner back in the Fox
Sports fourteen sixty studios. And here's Grella's kick. This one
is a line drive kick caught at the two, and
the Trojans will return this one up to about the
twenty eight yard line. Good tackle for Bishop mcdebone on
(01:38:03):
the forest side. I'm trying to see who that was
for the Crusaders, Xavier at McFarland on the tackle, and
(01:38:23):
that was a nice tackle. I wanted to make sure
I got that right.
Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
Yeah, yeah, because it was a very nice, very physical tackle.
Speaker 2 (01:38:32):
A collision as you might say. Here come the Trojans.
Two white outs to the far side, one of the
near one back in the backfield. I think that is
cam Greenstow in there at quarterback, and they will hand
this one off on the near side to number twenty
one tasker and he spun down immediately. RJ Duffy in
(01:38:54):
there as well as number fourteen.
Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
Milch, Yeah, Campbell, Milt, really time that read that. Caden's
perfectly hard. He was in the backfield before the handoff.
Speaker 3 (01:39:09):
So a loss of five. It'll be second and.
Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
Fourteen here, eleven and a half left of playing at third.
Mcdevin's up twenty eight zip. Here come the Trojans. One
white out to each side of the field, one back
in the backfield. Kim Green awaits a snap back the pass.
Here comes a pressure. He's hit as he throws fires
one down the field and this one is incomplete. Tried
(01:39:33):
to hit Scott down the field here and coverage by
number twenty five of our chance.
Speaker 4 (01:39:38):
Didn't think it was a bad throw hard. It just
seemed like he didn't, you know, turn out to the ball.
It was not that it wasn't a poor throw whatsoever.
Speaker 2 (01:39:50):
Really surprised and the quarterback Green just took a shot
as he released that one.
Speaker 4 (01:39:55):
I mean, yes he did. He's a he's shown his
moxie here tonight. I mean he's taking some release hits
and that was one of them.
Speaker 2 (01:40:05):
Three white outs to the far side, one of the
ear again, one back in the backfield on third and
fifteen back to pass there comes the pressure again and
this one is thrown down the middle of the field
and the receiver number two, Tasker, ran out towards the
sideline and it's incomplete. The fourth down and fifteen from
the twenty three.
Speaker 4 (01:40:23):
Yeah, little info trouble there for the Trojans on that one,
she said, Tasker broke out and nobody there to receive
the football.
Speaker 2 (01:40:38):
So Ish Palmer back at his forty three yard line
waiting this punt. Is the Trojans are going right to
left from the press box side of things here at
Rock or Attenzio Stadium, and they get this one out
of there just barely and no chance for Palmer to
(01:41:02):
return it is Chambersburg downs it at the forty seven
yard line. So Bishop McDevitt, great field position up, twenty
eight zip ten forty five left to play in the third,
chance to go down here and score and put this
into a Mercy World situation, Marty.
Speaker 4 (01:41:23):
Yeah, there's kind of interesting to see how coach Wector
attacks is here, whether he wants the junior quarterback to
get some throws or you know, just goes what the
defense gives him and we'll see what happens.
Speaker 2 (01:41:39):
Crusaders will come with two white outs on the near side,
one of the far two backs in the backfield with
Sebastian Williams. And now they'll hand this one off to
LaRue on the near side, and LaRue Junior takes it
down to the forty seven yard line.
Speaker 3 (01:41:54):
Got about three or four on that.
Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
One tasker on the tackle for Chambersburg.
Speaker 4 (01:42:04):
Good pick up by the Crusaders on first down.
Speaker 2 (01:42:08):
Jack Dawson will check out of the game for Bishop
mcdebitt college football scorer James Madison leading Louisville seven to six.
Of course, several Crusaders down there. Here's a little screen
pass to the outside the LaRue Junior. He's got the
(01:42:30):
forty five. He turns on the Jets thirty twenty and
knocked out of bounds somewhere around the twenty one yard line.
There's Riley Robel and Chase Reagan down there at James Madison.
Speaker 4 (01:42:43):
Twenty seven yards on the screen pass art.
Speaker 3 (01:42:48):
And the we're showing the speed he's got.
Speaker 4 (01:42:52):
It's a's second reception. He's also, as they said earlier,
carried for eight times.
Speaker 2 (01:42:58):
So the first and ten mcdebit at the twenty one
yard line, nine fifty three left to play in the third.
Dawson in there again for Bish mcdebbitt. Dawson got a
touchdown earlier in the game, making fourteen's at mcdebitt. At
that point, one wide out to each side of the
field with debit for power formation. They'll give this one
the Maurice Barnes and Maurice inside the twenty down inside
(01:43:23):
the fifteen down to the thirteen, got about eight. Would
be second and two for Bishop mcdebitt. Gabe Ruth will
check out for Bishop mcdebitt called second and three from
the thirteen.
Speaker 4 (01:43:41):
Mcdebit went heavy on that art with Zach Brown and
Jack Dawson in the backfield.
Speaker 3 (01:43:48):
Quick to the far side, Holton Jr. In the near side.
Speaker 2 (01:43:50):
Here's another hand off the Barnes and Barnes using his
power to get down to the ten. Should be a
first down, Bishop mcdebitt. So first down, Bishop mcdebit. It's
like it'll be.
Speaker 3 (01:44:05):
A first and goal, I believe.
Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
Fluck takes down the nine h five left to play
and the third gage roof goes out in the far side.
Holton Junior on the near side. The lad substitution for
mcdebitt and Crusaders are going to take a time out.
Let's take one as well. Eight fifty seven left to
play in the third. Mcdevitd of twenty eight nothing. You're
(01:44:31):

sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (01:45:18):
All right, welcome back to Rock Ortenzi Stadium. Here at
Bisha mcdebit High School. Crusaders up twenty eight nothing, eight
to fifty seven left to play in the third. Crusaders
with a first and goal from the ten. There's a
handoff to LaRue takes it up the middle. LaRue Junior
pushes forward and he's into the end zone for a
Bishop mcdebit touchdown, and if eight forty nine left to
(01:45:38):
play in the third, it's Bishop mcdebit thirty four and
Chambers Bird nothing.
Speaker 4 (01:45:43):
Really impressed with how well rob he art well he
read his blocks, did a great job leading the Blox
patient at the hole development and was able to cut
back maybe half a step in pounds it into the
end zone of the last two yards.
Speaker 2 (01:46:00):
On attempt the extra point and Smith the holder crusaders
up thirty four to nothing, and we await the extra
point and the kick is up and it is no good,
(01:46:23):
so it remains thirty four nothing, Bishop mcdebit, and we'll
keep things here, guys, we' have hated forty nine left
to play in the third. Mcdebit up thirty four to nothing.

(01:47:10):
up thirty four. Nothing is the extra point ruled, No good,
plenty of leg just apparently didn't go through the uprights.
That's Grella has been so good. That's just kind of
shocking the c I. Marty's sitting there like.
Speaker 4 (01:47:28):
Here quiet, Mike. My guess was that he pulled it
to the would have been pulled to the left, That's
my guess.
Speaker 3 (01:47:36):
Grella.
Speaker 2 (01:47:36):
On for the kickoff here now, line drive kick down
the middle of the field and this one goes right
up the middle in the center field for a base hit.
Speaker 3 (01:47:45):
Were the touchbacks?
Speaker 4 (01:47:47):
Any any batter would like that for a line drive?
He's when he doesn't put it up in the air.
He smokes those line drys.
Speaker 2 (01:48:02):
Altuna ahead of Cumberland Valley fourteen to ten in that game,
two future opponents for Bishop mcdebitt. So we'll make the
trip out to Altuna this year on the twenty sixth.
Speaker 4 (01:48:14):
I believe, yeah, I believe it's the last Friday and September,
and hey, Alton, it gave us all we wanted here
last year.
Speaker 3 (01:48:22):
I love calling games at Altuna.
Speaker 4 (01:48:23):
Ah, such a great place.
Speaker 2 (01:48:26):
And stopping at the eye hoop on the way home
in State College. Here you go, eight forty nine left
to play in the third. Mcdebit up thirty four zip
over Chambersburg and uh so that'll be a penalty against
(01:48:47):
the Trojans they get first in fifteen.
Speaker 4 (01:48:53):
I didn't see the movement. It was kind of funny
because Dennis for uh mcdebitt had such a jump and
the flags came in, but he was drawn off.
Speaker 2 (01:49:08):
Ball's on the ground and a quarterback for Chambersburg is
able to pick it up and just run forward for
a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:49:18):
Fortunately for him, Art he was able to pick that ball,
get a yard or maybe just a yard and not
get drilled because he had ended up with his back
to the you know, the mcdebit defense and was trying
to shuffle through there as quick as he could. But
fortunately he went down without taking a real hard hit.
Speaker 2 (01:49:37):
Trying to see it looks like they have another quarterback
in there. I think that's the freshman Mason costolo and
they will hand this one off up the middle, and
again there's just nothing there at all. His task or
just thrown to the ground. So it's third down in
forever for the Trojan offense. And then and they're just
(01:50:01):
getting beat on every play at this point by the
mcdebit defense. Just total domination at this point, and we'll
have an injury time out here on third down. Mcdebit
up thirty four nothing. Discover the difference with Select Physical Therapy,

help the player off the affility's actually able to walk
off under his own power. For Chambersburg, it's number seventy
five Ryan Rylan Poddle, so seven fifty seven left to
play in the third quarter. Mcdebit up thirty four Zip
(01:51:08):
the Chambersburg will come out as they start the clock
with three wide outs to the far side, one to
the near I think that is Cristillo in there, that's
number seventeen, and he's hit as he throws and just
(01:51:29):
nothing there at all. That thing just dies right into
the ground and Milchin there on the hit. So fourth
down and fifteen for Chambersburg and mcdevitch is dominating this
game in every way at this point, seven thirty six
left to play in the third.
Speaker 3 (01:51:49):
It's thirty four zip.
Speaker 2 (01:51:55):
Crusader's putting it all together here tonight. Ish Palmer back
at midfield and they again get this punt out of
there quickly, and is Palmer filled it at the fifty,
turns the corner and actually stumbles and trips and falls
(01:52:17):
down himself at the forty three yard line, and that's
where bish mcdebbitt will set up shop. Leading thirty four
to nothing, seven twenty four left to play in the third, Marty.
Speaker 4 (01:52:27):
I guess you pretty much knew when that first first
player for Chambersburg down the field cleared that Ish was
going to pick that up, try to get a big
return out of it, puts it down in the Chambersburg
t it's great to forty four.
Speaker 3 (01:52:45):
There come the crusaders.
Speaker 4 (01:52:47):
Gage Ruth out the far side, all the way out
there on the left. It has not got to pass
the night.
Speaker 2 (01:52:53):
With Palmer and Quick out there, Holden Jr. In the
near side. Here's a handof Tilarue or and he takes
it for a first down down to the thirty two
yard line at Chambersburg, and that'll move the chains pick
cup of twelve for LaRue takes it down to the
(01:53:16):
thirty two yard line. So gage Quick and Palmer again
out on the fore side.
Speaker 4 (01:53:25):
And LaRue seventy three yards now on the night.
Speaker 2 (01:53:28):
Holden Junior the wide receiver in the near side, and
another handoff to LaRue cuts the left now comes back
right twenty five twenty and punishing the tackler as he
knocks him down out of bounds. It around the fifteen
yard line as Pennick took a shot because LaRue knocked
him down. An impressive run there by LaRue Junior.
Speaker 4 (01:53:51):
Thirty two sixteen yards.
Speaker 2 (01:53:58):
Mcdebit for first down at the sixteen yard line again
in same formation for mcdebitt, although Maurice Barnes is in
the backfield now instead of LaRue Jr. Maurice Barnes Junior
will take the handoff this time powers forward down to
the ten, maybe the eleven. We'll give them five second
(01:54:22):
down and five. Bishop mcdebitt. Jack Dawson checks back in
here now for mcdebit. Ish Palmer will check out. Six
twenty left to play third quarter. It's all mcdebit thirty
four zip Gage Ruth and John Tate quick out on
the far side. Junior on the near side, and another handoff.
(01:54:50):
The Maurice Barnes Junior takes this one up the middle,
just pushing the pow inside the five down to the four.
It'll be first and goal they should mcdebitt clock down
(01:55:14):
to five forty five left to play third quarter. Mcdebit
up thirty four z it. Here come the Crusaders like
deviit in no hurry here he won two white outs
to the near side, one of the far the Rude Jr.
Speaker 3 (01:55:33):
In the backfield. They fake the handoff and.
Speaker 2 (01:55:36):
Fire one out to the outside the John Tate quick
for the touchdown and the Crusaders after the four yard
touchdown pass go up forty to nothing. We have five
twenty left to play here in the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (01:55:51):
I got to play action near Art deep. Put the
ball out there for the running back. Then he draws
it back. John take Quick was just wide open in
the end zone.
Speaker 2 (01:56:06):
Smith will snap for Bishop mcdebit. David Smith and a
clean Smith will hold little high snap. Kick is up
and it is good for Grella this time five twenty
left to play in the third mcdebit's up forty one.
Nothing ever, Chambersburg, let's take another break. You're listening to

Stronger together, unstoppable. Last one.
Speaker 1 (01:57:06):
This is Bishop mcdebits football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 2 (01:57:14):
All right, welcome back to Rock Artenzie Stadium here at
Bishop McDavid High School, Art selby Marty Bowman, Connor and
Eli back into Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios Mcdebit's up
forty one to nothing here over Chambersburg. Five twenty left
to play in this third quarter, Saders will kick off
going left to right. From the press box side of
things here at Rock Ortenzio Stadium. Grella spots that boil down.
(01:57:42):
I'm just about ready for play. Two men back deep
for the Trojans of Chambersburg, both around their two yard line.
See if Grilla just boots this one in for yet
(01:58:02):
another touchback line drive kick down the middle of the field,
and again it just skips through the two men and
into the end zone for the touchback. So so, Harrisburg
now leading State College twenty to thirteen in the third
(01:58:24):
quarter in that battle up in State College.
Speaker 4 (01:58:26):
Quite the comeback the end of the second quarter, in
the beginning of the third for Harrisburg and they were down.
It was the thirteen zip there. Yeah, and now they're up.
That's a heavyweight battle for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:58:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:58:43):
Five twenty left to play here in the third mcdevid
up forty one zip. Chambersburg comes with three white outs
over in the far side, one of the near, and
the freshman quarterback just hands out one off to a
number twenty one tasker and he goes nowhere. Not a
fun position for freshman Mason Costollo to be in there
(01:59:07):
at this point. So mcdebit up forty one zip. Under
five minutes left to play in the third. They'll come
again with three white outs to the fore side, one
of the near, one back in the backfield. This time
(01:59:29):
looks like they might have got mcdebit to jump. Well,
the mcdebit pointing, so it'll be on Chambersburg.
Speaker 4 (01:59:39):
He actually uh wanted to draw mcdebit, and in a
way he did, but at the same time he his
own guys just missed missed the count when he did
that on the cadence, and so they lose five four
and a half minutes left to play in third, second
and fourteen for the Trojans.
Speaker 2 (01:59:58):
As they go right to left from the press box
side of things here Rocker Attendzeu Stadium vision. Mcdevait up
forty one to nothing and running for his life is
a quarterback fires one out of bounds. They were there
and incomplete. Clyde continues to run the Mercy World situation
(02:00:26):
with mcdebit up forty one zip.
Speaker 3 (02:00:29):
It'll be third and fourteen.
Speaker 2 (02:00:45):
Balls at the sixteen yard line, three and a half
minutes left to play in the third, and here comes
the pressure again by mcdebitt. Bass in the air and
intercepted by mcdebitt, and I think that was Ish Palmer
who caught it. They around the twenty yard line. He
went up with a one handed catch pretty much and
brought that down for the pick.
Speaker 4 (02:01:07):
He wouldn't expect this pombered up high point of football,
but he did.
Speaker 7 (02:01:14):
So.
Speaker 2 (02:01:14):
The Crusaders get the turnover here now eating forty one
to nothing with three twenty three left to play in
the third, and here come the Crusaders offense back onto
the field.
Speaker 4 (02:01:35):
A lot of new jerseys out there.
Speaker 2 (02:01:43):
Kill fate in the game for Bishop mcdebitt at quarterback.
Now Thomas dejar zen Bond comes in for the Crusaders
and they will hand this one off to number thirty five.
That's McFarland.
Speaker 3 (02:01:59):
It looks like.
Speaker 2 (02:02:02):
He takes it up the middle for not much there.
Antonio Guyo in there for Bishop mcdebitt. Then you get
some of the numbers here, it's like David Smith is
in there now for mcdebitt, and then Corbort checked out
for the Crusaders. After that last play, Crusaders have two
(02:02:28):
white outs to the far side.
Speaker 3 (02:02:29):
One to the near.
Speaker 2 (02:02:32):
And here is another handoff to Xavier McFarland takes it
up the middle down to the fifteen yard line. Mcdebitt's
gonna have a third down and about six and now
it's like we're going to have a time out here
(02:02:56):
with two oh five left to play in the third.

to have a third and six at the fifteen yard
(02:03:56):
line of Chambersburg up forty one. Not then after the
interception by is Palmer down here deep in the Trojan territory,
See if the Crusaders can finish off this drive and
two white outs to the far side, one of the
near he'll fight in there and the Crusaders will run
(02:04:17):
this one up the middle inside the five. That'll be
a first down for Bishop mcdavitt and Milk the Crusaders.
(02:04:43):
Crusaders with two white outs to the near side, one
of the far and here's a hand off up the
middle again and trying to push the power forward down
to the two. So that was Xavier McFarland again. Say
(02:05:09):
Chance Holmes is out there as a wide receiver for
Bishop mcdebit out on the far side and trying to
get some other numbers here for you. I think that's
Frankie Bresha out there on the far side. Here's another
handoff for mcdebit. Chambersburg's defense shuts that one down for
(02:05:30):
a loss back at the five.
Speaker 4 (02:05:32):
That one a tough for the mcdebitt line to get
off the ball there. They just couldn't really get anything there.
Speaker 2 (02:05:41):
So the plate the clock is down to twenty five seconds.
Mcdebit does not have to run another play here in
this third quarter, and I don't think they're going to,
so it looks like they're just gonna let this thing
run out. Said, there's up forty one to nothing, ten
seconds left the plan in the third and that will
(02:06:02):
be the final play.
Speaker 3 (02:06:03):
The third quarter.
Speaker 2 (02:06:04):
So we'll take our end of third quarter break, Bishop mcdebit,
all over Chambersburg to night. It's forty one nothing Crusaders.

Speaker 3 (02:07:31):
And welcome back to Rocker.
Speaker 2 (02:07:32):
Attend to stadium here at Bisho mcdebit High School. As
we begin the fourth quarter, mcdebit tries to run the
ball up the middle so they get one out of
it and they'll have a fourth down and goal. Here
(02:07:57):
the freshman quarterback killed fight in there, going out on
the fur side. Chance Holmes out there as a wide out,
two wide outs on the near side for mcdebitt. It's
like Exavier McFarland in there is one of the backs
fight back to pass and his pass is tipped and incomplete.
(02:08:20):
So the Trojans defense stops mcdebitt here on fourth and
four eleven o seven left to play and this one
mcdebitdd up forty one to nothing. Coach wikt Or giving
him a chance to give him a young man a
chance to throw the ball there and it was batted down.
Speaker 4 (02:08:35):
Yeah, I know, you got to give an opportunity. I
was glad to see that. Glad to see that.
Speaker 2 (02:08:43):
So here come the Trojans back onto the field because
they will start from deepener and territory at the four
yard line. Looks like like Farland will come out here
on one side as a DV for mcdebitt.
Speaker 3 (02:09:04):
Number let's see.
Speaker 2 (02:09:11):
Jaden monkill Gill is a safety in there for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (02:09:17):
Could tackle there by Brandon Doling.
Speaker 3 (02:09:19):
Yeah, Brandon doing in there.
Speaker 4 (02:09:21):
Saved a very long game, I believe it.
Speaker 2 (02:09:24):
Say Campbell Milch is in there on d for mcdebitt.
Trying to catch some of these other numbers and Carlous
Smith is on the other corner on the other side
of the field for Bishop mcdebitt. David Melanitestic is in there.
Altonistic and the Trojans one wide out to each side
(02:09:49):
of the field and they hand the ball off out
there to number twenty one. Task Or tries the left
side and even with the backup U mcdebitt defense shuts
it down.
Speaker 4 (02:10:02):
Kimbell Milch has been very active in this game for
the Crusaders, really showing himself well.
Speaker 2 (02:10:07):
Here clock ticks under ten minutes left to play at
second down and fourteen. It's a tough night for Chambersburg
and Bishop McDevitt just dominant in every aspect of the game.
(02:10:29):
Tasker still back in there in the backfield, Devonte Scott
back there as well, one white out to each side
of the field, and chambers were just trying to run
the ball off the middle with number twenty one Malachai
Tasker and just more of the same for him as
he can't find much of anything there to third and eleven,
(02:10:55):
under nine minutes left to play now and the testinnick
on the tackle for Bishop mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (02:11:10):
You known as Heir Jones, Davis really would have wanted
to play in this game, but a wise decision I
think w his part and the staff to keep him
out of this game.
Speaker 2 (02:11:19):
Yeah, no need tonight. Three white outs to the far side.
Here comes the pressure and the quarterback has spun down.
The freshman quarterback taken down in there looked like number
fourteen Milch spun them down in there for Bishop mcdebitt.
So that'll make it fourth down and eight for the
(02:11:43):
Trojans and going back deep for Bishop mcdebit is Carlos
Smith standing at the forty six yard line, lad substitution
for the Trojans. Play clock down to ten. He do
(02:12:07):
get the punt off earlier. Smith well let that one
actually tries to pick it up, dove back to try
and get it, and somehow Bishop mcdeviit comes out of
there with the fumble. That was not a thing of beauty, Marty.
Speaker 4 (02:12:26):
No, uh, a lot for him to look at the film,
and that one didn't have. The coaches explained, I mean,
first off, trying to catch him on the run was
not real good, and then it hit him as it
bounced up and he didn't fall, and if he had
an opportunity, tried to pick it up. But you know,
(02:12:47):
you live and learn and get to see the young
guys in here and learn. So and.
Speaker 2 (02:12:57):
The penalty flag comes flying in here. Seven nine to
play in this one. Mcdeva's up forty one nothing. Harrisburg
now had of State College twenty six thirteen.
Speaker 3 (02:13:09):
And wow that game, Wow sure did change. They literally flipped.
Speaker 2 (02:13:12):
The State College was up thirteen to nothing, and now
Trail's twenty six thirteen.
Speaker 4 (02:13:17):
Now, so these these are the little things here art
it's a illegal participation, someone came in later or whatever.
Your coaching staff needs to have the young man aware
of what's going on. These are things that you can't
let happen because it's just to me, it's just bruise,
bad habits.
Speaker 2 (02:13:38):
Under seven minutes left to play, Crusaders break cuddle, two
white outs to the far side, one of the near
two backs in the backfield, and now now a penalty
flag comes flying in.
Speaker 3 (02:13:55):
The marty.
Speaker 2 (02:13:57):
Some news here on some former Crusaders what they done
at the college ranks sincere Bowers. This week a twenty
six yard touchdown run finished with fifty four yards on
six carries for West Virginia and his debut Chase Reagan
who's playing at Louisville tonight. Made a name for himself
a big special teams play, blocking a punt, also making
(02:14:17):
three tackles for James Madison. Tyshawn Russell had three receptions
and forty yards and had one carry for five yards
in his Syracuse debut last week. Two wide outs to
the far side from McDevitt and here's a handoff to
the near side this time. That's number thirty five McFarland
(02:14:40):
again for a short game. Let's see Ryan Russo had
three tackles for Monmouth and his debut. Rico Scott and
a big game on national TV against Florida State. Scored
on a seven yard catch and run. Had two receptions
for nineteen yards. Kate Warner six tackles and a sack
for Marris and they're winning for New Haven. Marquise William
(02:15:02):
six carries for thirty yards for Akron, and Mario Easterly
thirteen tackles in his game as well for him.
Speaker 4 (02:15:11):
Congrats to all those guys. Really happy to see since
here Bowers.
Speaker 2 (02:15:16):
Yeah, young man, what a talented running back. And here's
McFarland again trying the right side that pale pushing forward
down to the thirty nine yard line and mcdevil to
have a third down and.
Speaker 3 (02:15:34):
Two.
Speaker 2 (02:15:38):
Eli Culpepper in there for Bishop mcdebitt. That's one of
the linemen that so hear Howard Shank in there. Looks
like as we mentioned, the quarterback, he'll fight third and
three for mcdebitt. Coggins in there wide out over in
(02:16:00):
the far side for Bishop mcdebbit, and the Crusaders will
run it again and a nice run this time down
inside to thirty and knock out of bounds inside the
twenty five yard line for the Crusaders again, that's McFarland.
Speaker 4 (02:16:20):
It's an impressive run art by the young man.
Speaker 2 (02:16:24):
So hear Howard Schenk as I mentioned, just trying to
get some of these numbers here for you for Bishop mcdebit,
Antonio Guiosi in there in the interior, Benson Dancy in
there for Bishop mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (02:16:41):
McFarland only a freshman, we can really impressive on that run.
Speaker 2 (02:16:48):
Four minutes left to play. It's first and ten mcdebit
at the twenty seven. McFarland again to the outside. He's
got the twenty five, he's got the twenty. He can
taste that end times he gets down to the sixteen.
Speaker 4 (02:17:09):
It was a very late flag by the back churge.
Speaker 2 (02:17:13):
As it stands right now, mcdevidy, you're short of the
first down. Clock stops with the penalty. Three forty three left.
Mcdevid up forty one nothing.
Speaker 4 (02:17:34):
No, a unsportsman.
Speaker 2 (02:17:35):
Like you hate to see that. You got the younger
kids in there playing a little bit, moving the ball,
looking like they got a shot to go in for
a touchdown, and then you get a unsports someone like call.
(02:18:00):
So clock does resume. Three and a half left to play.
Mcdebit up forty one to nothing. Crusaders break cuddle here,
Coggin's out on the far side as a wide out,
two white outs on the near side, and again officials
(02:18:22):
in no hurry to get home the night.
Speaker 4 (02:18:33):
So uh, I'm not sure what the stop age was for.
Speaker 2 (02:18:39):
They start to clock again. Three twenty left to play.
Mcdebit's up forty one if second and sixteen for mcdebit.
Two white outs to the near side, one to the
far fight awaits to snap. Then that play clock ticked
down and Crusaders will get the McFarland again tries to
(02:19:02):
corner and this time the Trojans are ready for it
as they stop them at around the thirty five yard line.
Speaker 4 (02:19:09):
Yeah, it's just not enough running room for him there
to get to corner.
Speaker 2 (02:19:15):
So mcdebitt is going to get their first win of
the season. Marty to get the one in two. Chambersburg
about ready to drop their first game of the year.
Here and mcdebbitt will look ahead the next Friday night
at West Shore Stadium against Cedarcliff and the Colts. I'll
be making my way out to South Bend to see
(02:19:37):
Notre Dame Texas A and m so J. C. Floyd
will join you guys in the press box Friday night.
Two white outs to the far side, one of the
near and here's another handoff for Bishop mcdebbitt again. McFarland
comes to the left side, this time gets to the
thirty three. Maybe a short gain and we're down the
(02:20:00):
two minutes left to play here, just a solid effort.
Mcdebit did exactly what they wanted to do tonight, jumped
out to the lead and just played from ahead all night.
(02:20:22):
Crusader's break huddle here Dancy goes out on the far side.
Out there, two other receivers out on the far side
for Bishop mcdebbitt. Fight gonna fire one of the outside
and this one is complete over there in the far
sideline around the thirty one yard line. I think that
(02:20:45):
was chance.
Speaker 3 (02:20:45):
They caught that.
Speaker 2 (02:20:46):
One for Bishop mcdebbitt, so that was sure the first down.
So they stopped the clock for change your possession of
a minute too, sixteen left. Now they'll wind it again
as Chambersburg brings their offense onto the field for the
first down and ten from their own thirty one going
(02:21:08):
left to right from the press box side of things
here at rock Ortenzio Stadium, debit up forty one to nothing.
Some late substitutions for Chambersburg, like Brady Lohman came in
there late. Three wide outs to the near side. They're
(02:21:29):
going to fire one down the middle of the field
and this one is complete to Scott. Scott running down
the field and he's tripped up at the twenty nine
yard line. Number forty eight. I believe that was for mcdebitt.
Jonas Walton.
Speaker 3 (02:21:48):
And o'clock. Did they take a time out?
Speaker 4 (02:22:00):
Mcdebit player down on the far sideline. I know Coach
Wector got over there in our hurry.
Speaker 2 (02:22:10):

Now he is up and behind the where the yard
marker is with the first step right behind there.
Speaker 2 (02:23:48):
And here's a pass down the middle of the field
for chambers Berg inside the five to I think that
pass was the number thirty, but there is no thirty
on the roster, so they'll have a first down and
(02:24:16):
go with the three of twenty two seconds left.
Speaker 4 (02:24:19):
Yeah, and certainly Chambersburg wants to put some numbers up there,
and mcdebitt, the second and third team here, you know,
wants to honor the first team who had them shut out. Though,
do their best to keep Chambersburg out of the end
zone here because coach Wector didn't know if he was
going to make it back over to his own side
(02:24:41):
line before the game ended. Rochelle Blakely has been very
busy the team trainer. A lot of guys cramping up tonight.
She has been extremely busy.
Speaker 2 (02:24:54):
Here come the teams back onto the field, twenty two
seconds left to play in this one. Quarterback Cam Green
back in the game. Now Green's played a good game
to night for Chambersburg. He's done nice job.
Speaker 4 (02:25:11):
I look for him to run the football art.
Speaker 3 (02:25:15):
Back to pass, here's the pressure.
Speaker 2 (02:25:16):
Dumps one over the middle and looked like he had
his man there and just overthrew him. So he hits
the tried to hit the player I don't see on
the roster, and Chambersburg would take another time out here
(02:25:36):
with twelve seconds left to play. Mcdebit up forty one
to nothing. Free streaming of tonight's game and the Game
of the Week are brought to you by Constellation, producing clean,
reliable energy and powering new opportunities for families and communities
across central Pennsylvania. We bring the energy and it's been
all Bishop mcdebitt from the start tonight Crusaders and the
(02:26:00):
opening kickoff back for a touchdown eighty seven yards, John
take quick and the Crusaders have not looked back or
j Duffy would pick one off shortly after that, and
then Jack Daustin took it in and he had two
more passes from Sebastian Williams to Howard Holton Junior to
make a twenty eight zip at the half and mcdebit's
added on a couple of scores here in the second half.
Speaker 4 (02:26:22):
According to the timeout, they can call one more if
they don't get in here.
Speaker 2 (02:26:29):
Jam Green back to pass over the middle, and this
Thomas caught for a Chambersburg touchdown, and I think.
Speaker 3 (02:26:39):
That might have been Aaron Ward. There was Aaron Ward.
Speaker 2 (02:26:47):
With six seconds left, the Trojans put some points on
the board. Mcdevia leads forty one to six as a
Chambersburg playing the USC Trojan fight song. Definitely not one
of my favorite songs as a Notre Dame fan. I'll
(02:27:09):
just leave it at that.
Speaker 4 (02:27:10):
That is to John Harris high school fight song from
when I went there in the late sixties.
Speaker 2 (02:27:16):
Here come the Pioneers, okay, and the kick is up
and it was touched, but it goes through the uprights anyway,
Bish Mcdeviit leads forty one to seven with six seconds left, Mar,
do you know the words to the Alma Maya? Would
you like to sing that for us?
Speaker 3 (02:27:34):
Now?
Speaker 4 (02:27:35):
I do know the words. I know the words to
the fight song too, but we will pass so Big Top.
We want to be on the air next week.
Speaker 2 (02:27:42):
Big topic we had in our pregame discussions tonight or Marty,
do you like eggs without bread?
Speaker 4 (02:27:48):
I can't do that. I really can't do it. That's
some of my friends that when we go out, I'll
see them get the big breakfast and they'll get eggs
and pancakes, but the eggs come without toasting. Wait a minute,
you gotta order toes.
Speaker 2 (02:28:02):
Yeah, I agree, but I can eat eggs without it.
But I need the pancakes. I need bacon, I need
the eggs. I need the whole the whole spread there
and a nice, big fat cold coke for breakfast.
Speaker 4 (02:28:16):
I'm fine with that. My My big thing with the
eggs is like I gotta have bread with it.
Speaker 2 (02:28:23):
Any worry about Florida International, Tomorra Marty for Penn State.
Speaker 4 (02:28:29):
You know, it's funny because we didn't talk about this,
and I look at some other team schedules and I
see what we're doing in the first three weeks and
it's and I know it is what it is, and
it's money and so on and so forth. It's just
sort of a you know, sort of a weird real uh.
I don't know, just to see that schedule, but again,
(02:28:51):
it's money. It is what it is. And the schools
that come up get paid make up bucks to do it.
Speaker 2 (02:28:58):
You'd like to see them at these play like a
middle of the pack power conference team or something, you know.
Speaker 4 (02:29:03):
Like wives kind of please. When we hit Auburn on
the schedule right a couple of years ago, I thought
that was reputable. I don't think anybody could really pick
apart playing Auburn at the beginning of the year.
Speaker 2 (02:29:14):
So they're not even gonna have to kick this off.
As clock runs out, and Bishop mcdebbit in the win
column here tonight for the first time in the twenty
twenty five season. The Crusaders get a w off one
and two now in the season, and they'll get ready
for Cedar Cliff next Friday night. As the teams, we'll
greet each other here at the fifty yard line. All right,
we'll take a break. We'll be back with tonight's postgame show.

Speaker 2 (02:31:28):
All right, Welcome back to Rockertenzee Stadium. Here at Bishop
mcdavidd High School. Crusaders in the win column the night,
forty one to seven over Chambersburg. This one was over early,
as the Crusaders would score fourteen seconds into the game
on an eighty seven yard kickoff return by John Tate.
Quick made it seven zip Our j Duffy would get
a pick a little bit later, Jack Dawson would take
it in from one yard out. Crusaders were up fourteen
(02:31:50):
to nothing. After one. We had a pair of touchdown
passes from Sebastian Williams to Harold Holton Junior, a seven
yarder and a twenty nine yarder that was really pretty.
Mcdebit was up twenty eight zip A to half, and
then in the third quarter LaRue Junior would score from
ten yards out to make it thirty four ZIP. Extra
point was no good, and then John Tate Quick with
(02:32:10):
a four yard touchdown reception made it forty one ZIP.
Speaker 3 (02:32:13):
Debit.
Speaker 2 (02:32:14):
Ish Palmer would have an interception here later in the
game as well, and that would be it as Chambersburg
would score a touchdown here in the final seconds of
the game to put some points on the board. But
mcdebit wins forty one to seven. All right, we'll take
another break. When we return, talk about our player of
the game and coming up next week as well. You're

Tom for our player. We're players of the game here

(02:34:02):
I'll turn it over to you for your Player of
the game and we'll go from there.
Speaker 4 (02:34:05):
Let me preface this. I sensed it when you said
possibly players of the game that you're not real solol
to my choice. I really thought he did a great job.
Jerome LaRue unofficially and I am not the stat guy,
had him for twelve for ninety three.
Speaker 3 (02:34:22):
Just he was there.
Speaker 4 (02:34:24):
He was a spark plug, lots of lots of you know,
big runs ten, twelve, sixteen, eleven, and again the twelve
carries for ninety three. I just thought Jerome LaRue was
my player of the game.
Speaker 2 (02:34:40):
Yeah, I'll agree, if y'all I'll go with him for
player of the game. I do want to mention a
couple other names in this game. John Tate Quick with
a touchdown reception, they returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown.
Jack Dawson scored a touchdown tonight. He played well. I
thought Tyler Reinhardt played well, some good bats down, Alan
(02:35:00):
Smith played well. A Holton Junior with two touchdown receptions
in this game, and of course Sebastian did a nice
job as well at quarterback. But I think when the
dust settles, I agree. LaRue Junior had that touchdown run
from ten yards out to make it thirty four to
nothing mcdevid and with swoops out of the game the night.
He did a really nice job a running the ball
(02:35:21):
and showed showed a lot of speed, so we'll give
him our tonight's Player of the game. So we'll take
one more break, and when we return, we'll talk a
little bit about next week. You're listening to the Bishop
Debit post game show here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty

Sports fourteen sixty.
Speaker 2 (02:36:47):
All right, welcome back to Rocord ten to two. See
Crusaders have defeated Chambers for forty one to seven, and
I'm already just a dominant perform us by Bishop mcdebit
in pretty much every aspect of the game, including special
teams right off the bat.
Speaker 4 (02:37:05):
That's what you really wanted to see. You wanted to
see mcdebit come home here and do what they're supposed
to do. You know, it's a team that they should,
you know, beat handily. I mean, I hate to say that,
but it is what it is, and they did that.
They did what they needed to do it from the
opening kickoff throughout the game. So yeah, just what you
want to.
Speaker 2 (02:37:25):
See next week, a trip over to Westroth Stadium, the
battle to Cedar Cliff Colts. In recent years, mcdeviit' just
dominated we saw some exciting matchups through out the years
between Cedar Cliff and mcdebitt. But you have to think
heading into next week, mcdebit again highly favored to take
care of businesses even on the road over at Westbroo Stadium.
Speaker 4 (02:37:47):
You know, and when you looked at some of the
throws by Chambersburg tonight that were missed and receivers were
open or at least stride with stride with a defender,
and some of those balls overthrown, you know, you got
to wonder next week. You know, if Cedar Cliff cash
is in on a couple of those, you know how
that is going to have the gameplay out?
Speaker 2 (02:38:08):
All right, Well, let's kind of do it. Mcdeviit takes
care of Chambersburg tonight, forty one seven, Crusaders go to
one and two, Trojans drop to two and one. Mcdebitt
will travel over to West Shore Stadium to take on
the Cedar Cliff Colts next Friday night. You can catch
it at six thirty right here on Fox Sports fourteen
