Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's now time for kickoff.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
They have done it two out of the last three years.
The Crusaders pour out onto the field there. That's twenty
twenty four PIAA five A.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
State champions Cruz Sader Football is brought to you by
Constellation Energy, Tim Decker of Green Spring Advisors and Select
Physical Therapy. Now let's head out to the field with
your game announcers Art Selby, Rob Paglie and Marty Bowman.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
All right, welcome back to Rockertenzie Stadium here at Bishion
McDavid High School. Art Selby, Arty Bowman, Eli Fessler back
in the Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios. Paglice up here
in the press Bucks doing a fine job on paight
to eight as rival joined us in the next two
weeks over at Landis Field. So, Marty, we're just about

(01:06):
ready for football. Bishop mcdevid on their sideline here doing
their final preparations here Cumberland Valley huddling up over on
the far side of the field. We're just about ready
for football here as the sun has gone down here
for the most part here at rock Pertendio Stadium. Was
a little warm here earlier tonight, but things cooling down

(01:27):
here now is we're just about ready for kickoff.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
And like we said, we say a lot about the
Cedarcliff game, and this is certainly one of those games
that you look forward to, you really do.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Sixty seven degrees, Marty is at the temperature is at this.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Pretty much perfect effect with the sun going down, and
a half an hour ago we wouldn't be able to
see the field that sun was bright. But yeah, so yeah,
you look forward to this game. As I said in
the pregame, I really would like to see the Crusaders
start out and stay physical throughout this entire game.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Laden Black appears to be the kicker for the Cumberland
Valley Eagles. Is they will kick off going right to left.
On the press box side of things here at Rocker
Attenzie Stadium, Ish Palmer back deep for Bish mcdebitt, and
they do kick this one deep. Ish is gonna catches
it to five. He's got the ten, he's got to fifteen,
he's got the twenty. Ish still going and Ish tripped up,

(02:23):
gets all the way up to about the thirty three
yard line. So a nice return for Ish Palmer to
start the game.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Marty good Field position one of those where one of
the Eagles just got his ankle, or Ish might have
had that next half step and it could have been
long gone.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Ish with the punt return for a touchdown. And last
week's game at Altuna, there come the Crusaders offense led
by Sebastian Williams out there, Jack Dawson in there to
his left, which like Swoops, is in the backfield. Two
wide receivers to the fore side, one of the near
and they will hand this one off to Swoops and
he takes it up the middle, takes a shot, does

(03:00):
pick up about three to four yards on that one
before he's hit. It'll be second down and along six
for Bish mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
Oh, we're in a little perception there. I thought the
Swoops lost the ball in the first play of the game.
I don't know where I saw. I thought it came out.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
But so we'll call it second and seven from the
thirty seven yard line. It's like Gage Ruth and John
Tate Quick are out on the far side and mcdeviitd
will run this one again. Swoops tries the left side
and Cumberland Valley does a nice job of slowing them
down there. He only picked up about two or three
of mcdeviitd'll have a third down in about four. Here

(03:35):
on the opening drive, Marty.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Brody Pines came up from his D back position and
uh close that down. I think looks more like he's
playing a linebacker as opposed to dback check and see
if maybe he's like what they used to call the
hero position.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Crusaders. Raycuddle Gage Roof comes out on the near side.
It's like Harrob Holton juniors on the far side. Now,
John Tate Quick is on the near side for mcdebitt
as well. One back in the backfield that's Maurice Barnes.
Sebastian has some pressure dumps one of the outside. This
one is complete up here to John take quickt around
the forty three yard line. I think he'll be sure

(04:20):
the first down by about a yard market.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
You say a lot'll depend on the spot here.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
And it was actually really tough for the ref to
Goodest get a good spot on that because the play
was being pushed towards him and it was hard for
him to really get set. Fourth and one.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Looks like mcdebitt will go for it. Well, okay, Sebastian
comes back out here. Crusader's bray huddle, John take quick
and gage roof out on the far side. It's Holton
Junior on the near side. Leeve that swoops in the
backfield with Sebastian and they will give it to him
up the middle. He's got the first down and more
in the Cumberland Valle territory, still rumbling a way down

(05:00):
to the thirty seven yard line.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Twenty yards for swoops on in that one are a
big pickup by mcdebbitt.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Swoop showed some speed and some power on that one
as he hit the hole fast and the offensive line
did a really nice job there of opening up a
hole for swoops on that one. Give them some credit
on that one too.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Actually saw Cumberland Valley trying to tackle the football and
allowed Swoops to get a few more because they were
worried about tackling the football and not getting him down.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Two white outs to the fore side. One of the
near now going in motion as Ish Palmer and they'll
pitch it to him. Takes it on the on the
right side to the left side, takes it down the sideline.
Ten five dish for the end zone touchdown. Fish and
mcdebitt thirty seven yards. Ish Palmer and the Crusaders go
up six nothing with nine to eight left to play
here in the first quarter.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Just a little chet sweep in the shuffle pass to
issue and what made that so good? Are Palmer really
read the left side of the line really well, didn't
swing it totally wide, cut it inside a little bit,
then he was able to get to the outside and
take it home. Really excellent running by Palmer.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Rella on to attempt the extra point, Kuntarraff the holder
and the kick is up and it is good. And
just like that, Bishop mcdebit here on Homecoming goes up
seven and up and nine to eight left to play.
First quarter, and you're listening to Bisham mcdebit football here

(06:37):
on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 6 (06:40):

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Energy electricity on a football field. This it is Bishop
mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
All right, welcome back to Rock Ortenzie Stadium here at
Bishop mc devit High School or at Solby. Marty Booman,
Rob Paglie up here and Eli Fssler back in the
Fox Sports fourteen sixty studios. So we'll put that down
officially as a thirty seven year touchdown pass from Sebastian
Williams to Ish Palmer on just a little shuffle pass.
Marty and Ish had some blocking on the left side

(07:40):
of the line. He read the defense well and took
it to the house.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Yeah, it was a very nice play. We haven't seen
a lot of that. It's a weapon that thick Devid's
opponents you're going to have to take note of.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
So two men back deep for Cumberland Valley. Looks like
Pines is back there and Hack and Berry back deep
as Grella will kick off going left to right from
the press box side of things here. And here's Grella's kick.

(08:17):
This one is deep, and this one's sails into the
end zone for a touchback and Cumberland Valley will take over.
Going right to left here from the press box side
of things here at Rocker attend to here stadium, Marty
mccalven up seven to.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Yeah, and on the offensive side for Cumlong Valley. Kind
of anxious to see what they do. Kind of anxious
to see if they take some shots downfield. I mean
it's no secret that throughout this year we've seen some
mcdebit d backs get beat. Yeah, but quarterbacks just not
having enough time to settle in there and get the
ball to him. So we'll see if they want to
take some shots downfield.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Colton Stami in there at quarterback for Cumberland Valley. He's
got two white outs to each side of the field,
one back in the backfield and back to pass. There
comes a pressure Barnes gets in there just as he
releases it and the pass down the center of the
field is incomplete. There were literally two receivers in the
same area and three dbs form mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (09:11):
I wonder if they were designed to do that.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
As you said, there was three crusaders down there, and
Ryan Hart was down there along with the Kiel and Smith,
and I didn't get the third one.

Speaker 5 (09:28):
I think that might have been Crumbell.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Yeah, I think Champis on crumble was in on that one.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Eagles go with two white outs to the foreside, one
of the near, one back in the backfield, and this
time they'll hand it off and vision mcdebitt all over
that as they hit him in the backfield for about
a three yard loss.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
And Maurice Barnes no surprise, Ja Kai Logan, no surprise
in there, and it'll be a third and long now
for Cumberland Valley.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
And they did take that shot down field right away.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Yeah, it really did. I think I'm not sure that
you wanted to two receivers to draw three defenders there.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
Yeah, the numbers didn't add up there, two against three
on that pass down the middle, and it went exactly
how you thought it would go and complete. Eagles come
with two white outs to each side of the field,
one back in the backfield. Stamian the shotgun formation back
to pass, fires a quick pass to the outside. They
turn around and go up the field with it and
Vish and mcdebit does shut it down. I'm aserve about

(10:24):
five or six yards short of the first down, but
a nice design play there by.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
The it was and it looked like it was gonna
go big, but as we see so much, R. J.
Duffy just gets in there for uh Fisher. Mcdebit tracks
to play down and gives them a third and five, so.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
The Eagles will have to punt ish Palmer will go
back and stand it around the forty two yard line
now is standing at his forty seven point thirty eight
left to play. First quarter. Mcdebit up seven zip is

(11:05):
of course scoring the first It's a high snaps over
the punter's head into the end zone. He still has
time to punt it possibly and he does get it
off and is hammered in the end zone. The ball
goes up into the air to Jack Dawson who catches
it and has tackled down at the ten yard line.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
And fortunately for mcdebit, they got a hand on the
punt because I don't know how they would have called
that as for roughing the punter, but the ref immediately
signaled that there was a tip. So therefore if the
punter took a beating on.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
That one, art yeah, I mean, as the ball was
on the ground for a while, but he had to
run aways to get to it, and you're thinking, okay,
he is gonna have time to get that out of there.
But mcdebit came in there with some pressure and he
was just lucky to get it off at all.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
But from the beginning it was one that mcdebit was
not rushing on. They had to return and so then
it was delayed for them to get there.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
So here come the Crusaders now already up seven zip.
They'll bring a man in motion at Houlton Junior and
the Crusader has run this with LaRue Junior on the
right side. He gets down to about the eight, a
gain of two for Bishop mcdebitts a second and eight

(12:25):
from the nine yard line for Bishop mcdebbitt. They can
get a first down here still, so what a start
here for Bishop mcdebitt tonight. So they get the touchdown
and then Cumberland Valley with the bad snap over the
punter's head. Mcdebitt in the red zone again. Here here's
another hand off to LaRue Jr. Takes it inside, now

(12:45):
cuts outside and is tackled down in the backfield back
there by Cameron Wolf so to be third down and
ten for mcdebitt at the eleven yard line. LaRue Junior
and Jack Dawson check out for Bishop mcdebbitt on third

(13:09):
and Ten's.

Speaker 4 (13:11):
See if they roll Sebastian out but don't normally see that.
Let's see if they roll him out, maybe drag somebody
from the far side.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
I'm gonna call past the Holton Junior here for a
touchdown right down the middle. We'll see Holton Junior goes
in motion to Bastian, dumps one of the outside to
Holton Jr. And he takes it into the turn for
a Bishop mcdebbit touchdown and the Crusaders go up thirteen
and nothing with five point fifty four left to play

(13:40):
in the first quarter.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
Well, you got the right guy, Art, I will give
you that one. It was just a straight drop back
and more of a flare, and it really just seemed
like Kummer La Valley just could not cover Holton Jr.
On that.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
So mcdebit goes up thirteen and nothing five point fifty
four left to play here in the first quarter. Kuntaaff
the holder again Grella on to attempt the extra point
for Bishop mcdebbit kick his up and it hits the
upright and is no good. So that'll keep the score
of Bishoon mcdebit thirteen Cumberland Valley nothing. Take another break

(14:17):
here in the first quarter. You're listening to bish mcdebit
football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and I our radio.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
It all comes down to this, folks. Yet the entire
season is on the line. But my throat has officially
thrown in the towel.

Speaker 7 (14:30):
Sounds like you need vix vapor cool drops their max's
strength and vapor ice sore throat pain.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
WHOA These vapor cool drops hit fast. Speaking of fast,
did you just see that plane? Yeah, he vaporized that ball.
That fun should have come with a penalty.

Speaker 8 (14:45):
Vapor ice sore throat pain with fixed vapor cool drops
us as directed.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
The game.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Everyone circles on the schedule.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
This is Bishop mcdebit football on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
Hi, right, welcome back to rock or attends stadium Here
at Bisham mcdebitt High School, art selby Marty Bowman and
Eli Wesler back in the studio. Mcdevit up thirteen nothing
over Cumberland Valley mcdebitt with a thirty seven year touchdown
pass from Sebastian Williams the Ish Palmer little shuffle pass,
and then after the bad snap for Cumberland Valley on

(15:25):
the punt attempt, mcdebitt would score on the eleven year
touchdown pass from Sebastian Williams to Harold Holton Junior. The
extra point would hit the upraid and bounce out, so
mcdebit up thirteen nothing with five point fifty four left
to play here in the first quarter. Great start. This
is what just what the doctor ordered. If you're mcdeviit, Marty.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Yeah, it is indeed the good start. You wanted a
fast start. We talked about it a lot of running plays.
You wanted to be very physical and they were looks
like Campbell Milch is gonna kick off for Bishop mcdebit.
We did see Aiden Grella limping a little bit during

(16:06):
the pre game. I noticed on his two extra points
he didn't really put it was more of a flat
last step and then just the kick and he missed
the extra point on the second one here. But we'll
see Campbell Milch kick for Bishop mcdebitt to left footing.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
And they will go from left to right from the
press box side of things here at Rocker Rotenzio Stadium.
It's the wine drive kick that takes a bounce, has
filled it at the five. Cumberland Valley will return this
one back to the twenty nine yard line, and I
think that was Broody Pines with the punt return or
the kickoff return for the Cumberland Valley Eagles.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
Really good coverage here by mcdebit art on a kick
that was a line drive, took one clean hop to
Brody Pines, so he got an early start on it.
Early in the sense of mcdebit had was not downfield yet,
but mcdebitt really responded well and stopped him. Really, I
guess the nose of the football is on the thirty
yard line.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yeah, just shy the thirty. So Cumberland Valley takes over
trailing thirteen and often five forty six left to play
here in the first quarter, they go right to left
from the home side of things here Rucker Oftenzie Stadium.
They'll come with three white outs to the far side.
One of the near Reese Bartans threatens the blitz. Here
he comes and mcdebicicate's in there and takes down the

(17:29):
quarterback Steamy for a big loss.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
A lot of blue jerseys in there. Art you mentioned
Barnes showed the blitz. He came with the blitz. Looks
like Campbell Milch was in there, maybe Jakai Logan. Quite
a few blue jerseys there and the loss of about
eight for Cumberland Valley.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Yeah, second and eighteen all the way back to the
twenty two yard line, and again I'll come with three
white outs to the far side, one of the near
one back in the backfield to Steamy rolls to the
far side and the pass is incomplete. As he tried
to hit Brody Pines out there, he had him just
rushed the throw a little bit and it's incomplete.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Yeah, Stamie really, as you said, already hurried that he
rolled to the right, and I don't know that it
was a design raw. It was more like he knew
that the rush was going to be coming, so he
tried to get out where he could get the ball
and get his arm into it.

Speaker 5 (18:25):
But yeah, way too early on that pass.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
And it's third and eighteen now from the twenty two
for Cumberland Valley. This time, they'll bunch up three wideouts
on the near side, send one out to the fore
side again one back in the backfield. Mcdebit adjuicing the coverage.
Stamie back to pass. Here comes a pressure and he
sacked again. Back at the ten yard line. Misho and
mcdebit all over him again, Marty.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
Absolutely big rush there by the Crusaders. Chris Thompson came
in there, busting in for the Crusaders from.

Speaker 5 (18:59):
The right tackle spot. Almost seemed like he was unblocked.
He beat his man that badly.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Stamey had just a second to look down the field
and as soon as he didn't throw it, you knew
he was in trouble and he was taken down for
the big sack and Cumberland Valley will have to punt again.
Ish Palmer standing at the fifty yard line and we'll

(19:27):
wait for the snap. Last time they snapped it over
the punter's head. Another high snap and he is able
to get that one out of there. This one will
roll out of bounds around midfield or so as Andrew
Alderman just doing a nice job of getting rid of
that thing, Marty. But Fisher mcdevid already up thirteen to nothing.

(19:50):
Have a great field position.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Really got nothing under it there, so he's had a
bad snap and a bad kick. Not a good start
for your special teams game. Mcdevid will start on the
plus side of the forties of the fiftieth to forty six.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
So here come the Crusaders back onto the field thirteen
to nothing here on homecoming. They're also celebrating the nineteen
eighty five district championship team and a nineteen ninety five
state championship team here tonight at rock Artenzio Stadium. Sebastian
Williams quick pass outside the Ish, Palmer Ish has it.
He's got the forty, he's still going and finally spun

(20:28):
down and around the thirty six yard line. It looks
like it's a game of about ten.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Hey, it's enough for a first down.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
They do move the chain, so three p fifty four
left to play, first quarter and o'clock ticking. Deb it
up thirteen to nothing. Crusaders go left to right from
the press box side of things here at rock Ortenzio Stadium.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
Palmer with two receptions now for forty eight yards, had
the big thirty seven yarder on the tap.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
Pass Crusaders were three white outs to the side, one
to the far. They'll give this one the swoops. Swoops
has room on the left side fifteen ten and knocked
out of bounds at around the see where they spotted
around the twelve yard line and another big run, big
play for Bishop mcdebit.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Pick up a twenty three arc swoops off to it
a great start.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Should mention Chance Holmes in there at a white out
for Bishop mcdebit along with Ish Palmer, Howard Holten Junior
and Age Ruth all in there as well.

Speaker 4 (21:31):
Fifty yards on four carries for the Zier Jones, So.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Holden Junior goes out on the far side as the
lone white out. Mcdebit's got the three white outs on
the near side, one back in the backfield and the
Crusaders will run this again up the middle and spinning
inside the five down to the four. Game of seven
for Jones. Davis be second and three from the four.

(22:00):
Bishop mcdebitt caught ticks down about three minutes left to
play first quarter. Mcdebit up thirteen to nothing. Sebastian Williams
has to play from the near sideline, takes it back
to the huddle for Sader's break huddle. Now it's like
Gage Ruth out here on the near side along with
Chance Holmes. I think that Tish Palmer out here as well,

(22:23):
and we're in the far side Holton junior.

Speaker 4 (22:25):
Miss Palmer's got the single coverage out there to see
if they want to run a post. Now they're coming wide.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
Barnes was in the game. Here's the pass to the
outside and this one is incomplete. Tried to hit Ish
Palmer and it would have. He would have had to
make a one handed catch on that one to make
it marty, and he just was unable to come down
with it.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
And that was one of those where the UH defender
was a little bit taller out there, and it was
hard for UH Sebastian Williams to get that ball out there.
That was Josh braul and able to UH stave off
the mcdebit touchdown tip rarely.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
So it'll be third and three for vision. Mcdebbitt at
the four yard line swoops in there. It's an I formation.
They have Barnes in there as the full back position
and they'll pitch this one to the outside. Balls on
the ground. It's lying in the back of the end zone.
Cumberland Valley dives on it and slides out of bounds,
and what's the call going to be? I think they're

(23:24):
going to say a touchback, So it is a touchback.
Thought mcdebbitt was going to hand that off the Maurice
Barnes as they did in the Hairspur game, as he
lined up there in that full back position. But they
did a pitched in the backfield there and it was

(23:46):
just it was a tough ball to for swoops to
come down with.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
Yeah, they again they did.

Speaker 4 (23:54):
They did the fake handoff and then the UH push
the pitch and it just never worked.

Speaker 5 (24:04):
It never up, never in as he's saying, golf, that
was one of those never nevers.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
So two twenty five left to play here in the
first quarter. We'll see if that changes. Is momentum all
on this game? Mcdevid up thirteen to nothing and Cumberland
Valley will run this up the middle, and as far
as mcdevid's defense is concerned, they say no is uh
might have got a half yard and that's about it.

(24:29):
Maurice Barnes Junior on the tackle.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Marty Hey call his name all the time, along with R. J.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Duffian.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Ye second to nine from the twenty one Cumberland Valley
goes right to left. From the press box side of things,
they'll set two wide outs to each side of the field,
one back in the backfield with quarterback Colton Stamian. Now
penalty flags come flying in. I think it's going to

(24:59):
be a false start again Cumberland Valley, and it is.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
It was one of those where they wanted to change
the cadence and see if he could jump mcdebit off sides.
He did, but unfortunately they were off sides because half
the Cumberland Valley line jump.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
That makes it second and fourteen. Now for the Eagles
back at the sixteen yard line. I believe they have
two white outs again to each side of the field.
Stamy awaits his snap. Here comes a pressure again. Barnes
came flying in there and Steamy not sure if they're
going to rule out a fumble or now they're gonna
say an incomplete pass. That ball was just kind of

(25:36):
flailing around in his arm there. Barnes almost took him
out and then the rest of the defense finally got there.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
Yeah, I was watching the head ref behind the play
to see if he was gonna He didn't make a
signal at all, and I think the far the first
one I saw was the far ref who signaled incomplete.

Speaker 2 (25:58):
So makes it third down and fourteen from the sixteen
Eagles will bring three wide outs to the near side
and two to the far Stamy all alone in the
backfield shotgun formation. Stami looks at that mcdebit defense back
to pass. Here comes a pressure fires this one of
the outside tried to hit Zaiden Smith and he had

(26:22):
no chance. Marty, that mcdebit pressure was on him like
White on Rice.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
Yeah, that was really a rush incompletion there. Because the
rush was coming, he had to hurt his receiver really
never had a chance to turn around.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Yeah, mcdebit's pressure just relentless right now on the defensive
side of the ball. Here and once again Andrew Alderman
will have to punt standing at his two ish palmers
were at the fifty ish with a touchdown tonight. Already
he had the punt return for a touchdown last week
in style Tuna. Another high snap this time, but not

(26:59):
as bad as the other one. Alderman, with a nice
high punt, Ish catches it at the forty seven, he's
got to forty, he's got to thirty five, he's got
the thirty, cuts back inside and finally tackle down and
actually the punter Alderman, gets out there and makes the
tackle for Cumberland Valley. So a nice job by him.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Dish did not want to go down, give him credit.
He was trying to break with that, knowing that he
was probably gonna take some punishment on the hit. But
he stayed in there and stood up until Cumberna Valley
could come. As you said, Alderman, come and make the tackle.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Balls right on the thirty so to be first in
ten mcdeviit at the thirty going left to right from
the press box side of things here at Rock or
Tenzie Stadium on mcdebit, heading towards the union deposit side
of the field. Here mcdebit up thirteen to and minute
twelve left to play two white outs to the far side.
One of the near crusaders will run this thing to
LaRue Junior this time, and he tries the outside here

(27:56):
on the right side of the field and goes nowhere
is to Cumberland Valley defends it well. Satan Smith on
a tackle for the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
At this point. All right, mcdebbit, not really dominating. They've
opened some holes on a couple of big plays, but
not really dominating. I know that's what the staff would
like to see, dominating that line of scrimmage.

Speaker 2 (28:22):
Two white outs to the far side from mcdebitt. One
of the near that's Holton Jr. And they'll hand this
one off to LaRue Junior up the middle. He's got
inside the twenty and down to the seventeen yard line.
It'll be a first down vision mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Fourteen for LaRue on that and a first down for
the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Up it's coming back a holding call against Vision mcdebitt.
So the clock stops with twenty eight seconds left to play.
First quarter, mcdebit up thirteen to nothing. So they'll bring

(29:06):
it back to the thirty seven yard line, second and
seventeen from the thirty seven, twenty five seconds in the
clock ticking here.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
Let's see if they give Williams a chance or take
a shot.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
So John take quick, Colton Junior and Gage Ruth row
out on the far side. Two white outs in the
near side. Sebastian Williams all learned in the backfield back
to pass. Here comes a pressure. Sebastian rolls to the
far side of the field. He's gonna run it. Thirty five,
takes a shot tackle down hard inside the thirty yard line,
and the clock runs out. That's how the first quarter

(29:40):
will end with Bish mcdebbit up thirteen and nothing over
Cumberland Valley. We will take a break. You're listening to
Bishop mcdebit football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and
the iHeartRadio.

Harris Burg's elite high school football program. This he is
Bishop mcdebit Football on Fox Sports fourteen to sixteen.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
All right, Welcome back to Rocker Attensio Stadium here at
Bishop mcdebitt High School. Second quarter begins with mcdebit up
thirteen to nothing. Merusaders have a third down and ten
from the thirty yard line as they go right to
left from the press box side of things here at
rock Ortenzio Stadium. Sebastian Williams with a nice run on
the previous play. But you don't like seeing him take
a shot like that, Marty.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
No, you do not he But he's not one who's
gonna shy away from that.

Speaker 2 (31:32):
Sebastian all on in the backfield again as mcdebits three
white outs to the far side one of the near
Now he's gonna keep it himself, takes it to the
twenty and dives forward down to the seventeen yard line.
And Sebastian's showing some toughness here on these last two runs, Marty.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
You know, in order to get that first down already
put his head down and holding against mcdebit.

Speaker 2 (31:54):
So it's all washed away by a holding call. Bring
it back here. So it might not count on the
stat board, but a great run there by Sebastian, it
was absolutely yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
And put him in a great position with the first
down inside the twenty.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Nothing he did there had anything to do with the
holding on that one. Now, that was just Sebastian and
making some making a great run. So it'll bring it
back to the thirty eight yard lines, third and eighteen
for Bishop mcdeviit as a quackticks here in the second quarter.
Eleven forty five left to play in the first half.

(32:33):
It's thirteen's at mcdebit, same formation. Sebastian steps up, fires
one of the outside and he has LaRue Junior who
spins around the corner and gets inside the thirty down
to the twenty five yard line.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
A little bit of a side arm throw there by
Sebastian and a roommate's a nice catch running away from
him across the field, hits the hands out, real soft
fans makes that catch and then turns it gets five
five yards, So the Crusader's in a very manageable fourth
and five.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
This would be an interesting spot to try a feelg
with I if Grella was feeling good, yeah, you know,
comparing it the last week.

Speaker 5 (33:19):
Absolutely would have been a great, great place.

Speaker 2 (33:22):
So Crusaders come with two white outs to the fore side,
three white outs to the near side. Sebastian Hastime fires
one over the middle. This is complete to Johntay who
dives forward and tries to get the first down, and
they're going to say that he was down before that
ball came out, and uh Johntay is down unfortunately for

(33:44):
Bisha mcdebitt. So eleven twenty seven left to play here
in the first half, Bish mcdebit up thirteen to nothing.
They move the chains, they get the first down, but
they'll tend to uh Johntay quick here Bish mc deviit

Speaker 4 (35:21):
We mart. You kind of hate to see this John
take Quick still down there being worked on, and he
has battled the last three or four games art with
you know, some ankle injuries and that. If you remember
last week at Altuna, he came off the bench and
went into the locker room very briefly in the second
half and then ended up back out on the field,

(35:42):
which was good to see, but he was being twisted
around there. It was just one of those things. Not
much of a window for Sebastian Williams to throw that
ball in there, and he got it in there fortunately,
but unfortunately for John Tay. As he goes down on
the tackle.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
A couple of the of his teammates will go out
there and help him come off the field. Here and
not putting any pressure on that lake at all, Is
swoops out there to help him come to the near sideline.
For Bishop mcdebit as well as Aiden Mitchitic helping him.

(36:19):
John take quick an extremely valuable player on this mcdebit team,
so you hopefully he'll be able to come back balls
at the twenty yard line of Cumberland Valleys. Bishop mcdebit
still huddling up here, eleven twenty left to play in
the first half. Crusader's up thirteen to nothing. Playclock is

(36:41):
down to fourteen as the Crusaders come back onto the field.
Here quickly Gage Ruth alone wide out over in the
far side. Maurice Barnes is in there to the right
oft abash and now mcdebbitt's going to take a time out.
Let's take one as well here this time eleven or
six left to play. First half. Mcdebit up thirteen to nothing.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
All right, welcome back to rock Ortendzi Stadium. Here at
Fish and mcdevid High School, selby Marty Bowman el F
Wessler back in the studio. Mcdeviitt has a first and
tennis twenty one white out to each side of the field.
Now going in motion for Bishop mcdebit is Zach Brown
and the Crusaders will run this one up the middle
up to the sixteen yard line and Crusaders pick up

(38:15):
four as that was Maurice Barnes Junior on the Kerry Marty.

Speaker 4 (38:19):
And I will pick up a positive four. So mcdebitt
comes out at a second and six. Here Art Sebastian
Williams and John Tay Quick, you go right back to
the JV team times that they play together, also all
the times they spent on their own. They know each
other really well. Certainly a loss at this point for

(38:42):
the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (38:43):
One white out to each side of the field for
Bishop mcdebit. Zach Brown goes in motion for the Crusaders
in there, but run this one. The swoops to the
outside and swoops, spins to the middle there and gets
down to about the twelve. So mcdevi would have a
third down.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
In short, we'll give him four on that art.

Speaker 2 (39:04):
Jack Dawson's gonna check it back in here for Bishop mcdebitt.
It's like Liam Fuller checks out for the Crusaders and
also coming out of the game as Zach Brown. As
mcdebitt has a third and two from the twelve, Holton
Junior to the far side, swoops in the backfield behind
Sebastian Williams. Two white outs for mcdebit. On the their side.

(39:27):
It looks like Gage Ruth is out here and Ish
Palmer and they'll run swoops up the middle. He's got
the first down and more down to the five. It'll
be first in goal Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
As they pick up seven swoops with seven more.

Speaker 4 (39:41):
A quick hitter there art a quick opener for mcdebit
and he had a big hole and he hit it
very hard, very fast.

Speaker 2 (39:48):
They would have picked up seven, so Gage Ruth, we'll
check out as long as well as Ish Palmer Fuller
comes back into the game for Bishop mcdebitt. The Crusaders
have a first down and goal from the five. As
we're we're about down the nine minutes left to play
in the first half with mcdebit up thirteen to nothing.
Holton Junior the lone wide out over in the far side.

(40:11):
Mcdebit for power eye formation with Dawson and swoops in there.
They give it to Swoop. Swoops dives forward and gets
down to about the two, so he'll get about three.
We'll have a second and goal from the two for
Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 5 (40:29):
Just running power football here.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Sebastian looks over here at the near sideline, now takes
it into his huddle. Crusaders brake huddle Jack Dawson and
swoops again with that power eye formation behind Sebastian, Holton
Junior the lone wide out again over in the far
side of the field. Now Holton Junior goes in motion
from the far side to the near and the Crusaders
will run this one up the middle with swoops and

(40:59):
he is into the end zone for a Bishop mcdebit
touchdown two yards and with eight to fifteen left to
play in the first half, Bishop mcdebit's up nineteen to
nothing over Cumberland Valley.

Speaker 4 (41:09):
Campbell Milch at the left. Offensive ended and that play
and they ran behind him. He did a good job,
opened up a big hole for Nazir Jones Davis.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
Clint tarrafft the holder for Bishop mcdebbit. So Milch on
no attempt the extra point. The kick is up and
it is good, so that makes it Bisho mcdebit twenty
and Cumberland Valley nothing eight to fifteen left to play,
first half. Take another time out here you're listening to

Speaker 1 (42:35):
Now back to the field.

Speaker 12 (42:38):
This is the chope of joints for.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
All right, welcome back to Rock Ortenzio Stadium. Here Bishop
McDevitt High School Crusaders up twenty to nothing after the
two yard run there by Nazia Jones, Davis and mcdebit
will now kick off Marty.

Speaker 4 (42:53):
Yeah, uh, I've been impressed. They are running the football. Well,
it's getting some big holes, getting chunks. A little disappointed
art in the past protection the majority of the time
Sebastian has not had a lot of time to throw
the football.

Speaker 2 (43:13):
So mcdebitt will kick off, going right to left from
the press box side of things here at Rock Rotenzio Stadium,
Merceader's up twenty to nothing now, two men back deep
for Cumberland Valley. It's like Pines is back there for
the Eagles who I was injured on that draft for

(43:34):
Bishoon mcdebitt. This kick is short by Milch and Cumberland
Valley will return this one back to about the thirty
four yard line.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
Could return of about twenty three yards for pines for
the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (43:50):
Here calling the game, you take it for granted when
Gorella is kicking it, it's going to be a touchback
each time, so you're kind of not used to seeing
the other team return one. So Cumberland Valley will take
over balls at the just shy of the thirty five.
They're down twenty to nothing to mcdebit eight oh six
left to play here. First half. There's a Colton Steamy

(44:15):
in there at quarterback. He's got one back to his left,
three white outs to the near side. He's going to
keep it himself and we'll run up to about the
forty one yard line.

Speaker 4 (44:25):
Fortunately RJ Duffy art pursued that. Well, another crusader down
looks like his shoulder.

Speaker 2 (44:34):
That was actually they switched quarterbacks up there, went with
Cameron Wolf who might be a little bit more mobile.

Speaker 4 (44:42):
And Wolf faked and then kept the ball and had
an opening, and again RJ Duffy made the tackle. Unfortunately
r J Duffy is down, as I said, holding his shoulder.

Speaker 2 (44:54):
Well, mcdebitt who's just keeps getting banged up each week
and tonight has been no different. And two guys so
far here, I mean, you absolutely can't lose. Well, you know,
our j Duffy has been fantastic for Bishop mcdebit. Just
one of those kids that works hard and I think
every time there's a play on defense, r J's in

(45:15):
the mix. So hopefully they can fix him up. And
of course, you know John take Quick as you mentioned,
just a great player for Bishop mcdebitt. You can use
him on both sides of the ball. When you get
deeper into the playoff time and RJ is up and
he's going to jog over here to the mcdebitt sideline

(45:37):
and and apologize for the technical difficulty there. Eli, we
should be back with you here. Five forty five left
to play here in the first half, it's third and
eleven for Cumberland Valley. There's a pass over the middle
and this one is complete for a first down. It
looks like out there to Aiden Smith, nice pass over

(46:02):
the middle and the Eagles move the chains and get
a first down.

Speaker 5 (46:05):
That was a well thrown ball.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
Can't he threw a really didn't have a lot of
room to get that in there through a bullet.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
And now the Eagles drive continues here. Five twenty left
the play first half. Mcdebit up twenty nothing the Cumberland
Valley if a first down atenant to mcdebit forty three
yard line. Eagles break huddle here in their white jersey's,
red numbers, red pants and the white helmets with this
red CV on them. Two white house to the near side,

(46:39):
one to the far. Wolf Well hand it off this
time Cumberland Valley takes it up the middle and we're
able to dive forward and pick up about three yards
on that one. So Cumberland Valley doing a nice job here.

Speaker 5 (46:55):
Looks like.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
From Zach Brown also in there for the Crusaders on
that one.

Speaker 13 (47:07):
That's great.

Speaker 2 (47:08):
Four and a half left to play first half, make
debit up twenty zip. Jaden Eerroll comes down here in
the near side as a white out for Cumberland Valley
along with Beck Collins. They have another white out over
in the far side of the field, one back in
the backfield with Wolf. He fires when over the middle
and this one is complete again to Beck. Beck takes

(47:30):
it inside the thirty down to the twenty eight yard line.

Speaker 4 (47:33):
Beck Collins, A lot of life on this drive are
for the Cumberland Valley Eagles.

Speaker 5 (47:40):
A couple of.

Speaker 4 (47:43):
On target bullet passes thrown and allow Cumberland Valley amount
to drive here and get inside the mcdebit.

Speaker 2 (47:50):
Thirty three fifty left to play. First half. Mcdebit's up
twenty zip. Eagles with a great drive here, though they'll
come with three white outs on the near side, one
of the far, one back in the backfield once again
with quarterback Cameron Wolf. Now he's gonna keep it himself.

(48:12):
Tries the left side, but mcdebit had penetration into the
backfield and that play was blown up immediately so.

Speaker 5 (48:18):
Against Zach Brown and r. J.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
Duffery, so they'll say he lost two on that one.
It'll be second down and twelve back at the thirty
one yard line, and he could just see there was
nothing there. A moment Wolf caught it and looked to
go left two where two or three mcdebit players already
in the backfield there, so you could see it was
going nowhere. Eagles will bring three white outs to the

(48:46):
near side, one to the far and Wolf surveys at
mcdevit defense, and now somebody jumped might have been to
run Donnet.

Speaker 4 (48:58):
There's a little anxious there at the left defensive end position.

Speaker 5 (49:05):
He'll come off and be replaceable.

Speaker 2 (49:08):
Soul be second and seven now, Jack Dawson's yeah, we'll
bring it to the twenty six yard line of Bishop mcdebitt,
and Eagles will come up here again with three white
outs to the near side, one to the far. Now,
Wolf's gonna keep it himself. He takes it up the middle.
He's got the twenty inside the fifteen and down to

(49:29):
about the fourteen yard line. It'll be enough for a
first down for the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (49:33):
Tylert rein Hart on the stop for the Crusaders came
from his safety spot.

Speaker 2 (49:43):
So Cumberland Valley threatening now in the red zone here
with a first down and ten at the fourteen yard
line and a player down for Cumberland Valley. Jade Narwll
sitting on the turf and around the twenty five yard line,
and the Crusaders will come to the near side as
they will work on the player for Cumberland Valley. Free

Eagles back onto the field here now two twenty eight
left to play. First half, it's mcdebit up twenty to nothing,
but Cumberland Valley with a first down and ten at
the mcdevid fourteen yard line. Eagles switched quarterbacks and Cameron

(51:15):
Wolf has done a nice job of taking them down
the field. As the Eagles have three white outs to
the near side, one to the far people back to
pass fires one over in the corner, and this one's
just too far and out of bounds. Tried to hit
Roady Pines over here, and it was incomplete. Marty. He's

(51:35):
second down and ten from the fourteen with two thirteen
left to play in the first half.

Speaker 5 (51:40):
Campbell just overthrew that by a long shot.

Speaker 4 (51:42):
Had an opportunity with the receiver there, but had to
lay it into the near corner of the end zone
back in but had room and just overshot him.

Speaker 2 (51:53):
It just rushed the throw a little bit there.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
In fact, I don't think Heines looked up till the
last minute. You know, I don't even know if you
saw the coming.

Speaker 2 (52:02):
So three white outs to the near side for the Eagles,
one to the far, one back in the backfield, and
now Wolf is going to keep it himself. Tries the
left side and he fails, as Bishop mcdebit all over him.
I think I saw RJ. Duffy in there on the
tackle as ORJ shut that thing down quickly, Marty.

Speaker 4 (52:22):
They did, And I think Maurice Barnes got in the
backfield four step play back to the inside a little bit,
so Campbell really didn't have the opportunity to cut loose there,
as he has several times on this drive.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
So the Eagles have a third and ten at the
fourteen yard line. Mcdevi's up twenty to nothing, minute thirty
nine left to play in the first half. Here again
the Eagles, same deal. Three white outs to the near side,
one of the far and one back in the backfield.
Wolf back to pass, gonna fire a fate over there
in the far corner and making the catch. I'm not

(52:59):
sure they're going to roll a touchdown as he fired
it over in the far corner over there. I believe
that Zayden Smith and the Eagles are on the board.
It's twenty to six the minute twenty one left to play.
Just a well thrown ball, Marty in a great catch.

Speaker 4 (53:15):
It was I could not see how he could stay
in bounds.

Speaker 5 (53:18):
Eric, you know, he.

Speaker 4 (53:20):
Looked like he had nothing left, but able to make
the catch and stay in bounds. And a big touchdown
for the Eagles before half.

Speaker 2 (53:31):
So Cumberland Valley on the tempte extra point looks like
Wolf the holder and Snyder the kicker for Cumberland Valley,
and he kick is up and it is good. So
that makes it Bishop mcdeviit twenty Cumberland Valley seven, the

(53:52):
minute twenty one left to play here in the first half,
and great drive by the Eagles there it was.

Speaker 4 (53:59):
It was amble kind of energize that offense both throwing
the ball a couple of one target bullets over the
middle and then running the ball and give me the
mcdebit defense something more to think about that they hadn't
had to thought about think about earlier in this game.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
So Bisha mcdebitt has a minute twenty one left to
work with and two timeouts to try and answer the
Cumberland Valley score here before we head end of the
locker room. But a great answer by Cumberland Valley and
they showed you they're a good football team with that drive.

Speaker 4 (54:35):
Absolutely absolutely or a really big time drive.

Speaker 2 (54:42):
So minute twenty one left to play. Bishop mcdebit Football
is sponsored by Select Physical Therapy. Discover the power physical
therapy with Select Physical Therapy with over thirty locations throughout
Central PA. They're here to tackle your ax pains and
everything in between. Get back to what you love Select
Physical Therapy today. So here we goes Cumberland Valley will

(55:06):
kick off going left to right from the press box
side of things here at rock Pertenzie Stadium. Like Debit's
lee cut the twenty to seven minute twenty one left
to play here in the first half.

Speaker 4 (55:19):
Mc debit with two timeouts left, art really anxious to
see how UH coach Wector approaches this.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
So Chase Snyder will kick off for Cumberland Valley Ish
Palmer back deep inside is five. We'll see how see
what kind of field position mcdeba gets out of this kickoff.
Here is Snyder's kick and he kicks it deep, and

(55:52):
this one will bounce into the corner of the end
zone for a touchback because I issue was just unable
to get over there and get that one.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
Yeah, really a great kick because he kicked it almost
at the front pylon right there, didn't go out of bounds.
Ish would have had a tough time if he did
field it to do anything with it.

Speaker 2 (56:14):
So mcdebitt with a minute twenty one left to work
with balls at the twenty yard line here and here
come the Crusader's offense out there. Ish Palmer Gage, Ruth
Howard Holton Junior, Jack Dawson's in there along with swoops
and Sebastian Williams the quarterback for mcdebit. Here, as we mentioned,

(56:35):
they got two timeouts left, two white outs to the
near side for mcdebit, one to the far Jack Dawson
goes in motion and they will run this one. The
swoops and swoops with a nice run up the middle,
picks up the first down and more up to the
thirty four yard line. Clock stops on the first down.
Got about fourteen, Marty.

Speaker 5 (56:55):
Yeah, fourteen.

Speaker 4 (56:56):
He has been a workhorse in his first hand for
the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (57:04):
Crusaders come with three wide outs to the far side,
one of the nearer. Clock ticks down to a minute
left first and ten. They fake the hand off a
quick pass to the outside and Cumberland Valley defends it
well as mcdebit might have picked up two or three
to Ish Palmer and that's it. Clock continues to tick
as we're down the forty four seconds left to play

(57:25):
in the first half. Debit looking like they're trying to hurry,
but a lot of clock ticking off here is were
already down to thirty.

Speaker 4 (57:36):
I'm thinking they really want a long run to get
themselves in a position to take a shot at.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
The end Zo and they will hand this off to Swoops,
and Swoops is taken down after a.

Speaker 4 (57:45):
Short gain, and that's gonna be it.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
They were down the twenty seconds left. Mc debit will
have a third down and eight it's the third and
six weeks more like it. Ten seconds left to play
and mcdebit nor to get another playoff and the Crusaders
will come to the near sideline. So good first half
of football on homecoming here at Rock Rotensio Stadium. It's

(58:09):
bish mcdebit twenty Cumberland Valley seven. Take a break, we'll
return of tonight's halftime show next. You're listening to the

Hello, I'm at Begley Junior and wherever you call home,
the sounds of wildlife connect you with a greater family
of life. That's why you shudder each time you see woods, marshes, meadows,
or grasslands being destroyed. You know that countless birds and
other wild animals are losing their homes. The greatest threat
to their survival. Among the growing number of threats to wildlife,

habitat loss is a most devastating. The Humane Society Wildlife

Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
All right, Welcome back to Rockwor attends you stadium. Here
at Bish mcdebit High School, Art selby Marty Boom and
Rob Hoglise is up here doing PA tonight in the
press box and Eli Wessler back in the Fox Sports
fourteen sixty studios. Worth the half and it's a good
one so far. Here tonight is Bish mcdebit leads Cumberland
Valley twenty to seven. Look like mcdebbitt was going to

(01:01:57):
run Cumberland Valley out of the building here. At the
start of the game, Crusaders went down the field and
a little shuffle pass from Sebastian Williams to Ish Palmer
took it to the house from thirty seven yards out
and mcdebitt was up seven to nothing. Cumberland Valley would
snap the ball over their punter Attaman's head into the
end zone. He was able to get it off, but
not very far as Jack Dawson came down with it

(01:02:18):
around the ten and then a Harold Holten junior with
an eleven yard touchdown reception put mcdebit up thirteen to nothing.
The extra point hit the upright that stayed thirteen nothing.
Bishop mcdebit Crusaders had another was in the backfield and
he was unable to come up with it. It ended

(01:02:39):
up being a touchback, so the Crusaders didn't score on
that drive. Eventually they would though. In the second quarter.
Swoops would take one in as mcdebit put a long,
solid drive together and Swoops score from two yards out
to make it twenty to nothing. Then things changed a bit.
Cumberland Valley switched quarterbacks as they went from Holton Stamy
to a Cameron wolf Wolf, a little bit speedier type

(01:03:02):
of quarterback. He was able to run the ball and
under full mcdeviit's defense a little bit some nice passes
and he'd go down the field and fire a touchdown
passed is Aiden Smith. The minute twenty one left to
play in the first half, Crusaders would get it back
and just unable to really put anything together, and mcdebitt
would take a twenty to seven lead into the locker room.

(01:03:23):

L Right, Welcome back to Rockbord ten Stadium here at
Bishop McDevitt High School, Art Selby Marty Bowman, Rob McLeish
is up here. I want to thank Brad Rogers for
stopping up and saying hi to us here in the
press box here, as at the homecoming festivities are taking
place in front of us here right now at Rocker
attend To Years Stadium. Fish mcdebitt leading the game twenty

(01:13:06):
to seven over Cumberland Valley. As I mentioned, looked like
this one was going to be all Bisha mcdebit early
on is the Crusaders would score on a thirty seven
yard shuffle pass from Sebastian Williams to Ish Palmer, who
took it to the house for about thirty seven yards
and it was seven to nothing. Bishop mcdebitt and then

(01:13:27):
mcdebbitt would get the ball back as Cumberland Valley would
snap the ball over their punter's head. Otterman and Ottoman
did a great job just to get it off and
he was hit as he punted it and Jack Dawson
was able to come down with it at around the
ten yard line to set up Bish mcdebit great territory
to score, and Sebastian Williams would hit Harold Holton Junior

(01:13:49):
from about eleven yards out to put mcdebit up thirteen
to nothing. The extra point hit the upright and bounced out,
so the Crusaders were up thirteen to nothing. Looked like
they were going to score again, but they they try
to pitch back to Nazier Jones Davis and it was
just a little bit too hard and tough for Naziera
come up with. There went to the back of the

(01:14:09):
end zone and Cumberland Valley recovered it for a touchback.
Crusaders would still get it back again and put a
good drive together. Swoops would score from two yards out
to make it twenty to enough en vision mcdebit. The
extra point was good and then Cumberland Valley switched things
up a little bit tried a new quarterback as Cameron
Wolf's a little bit more mobile it appears in their

(01:14:31):
other quarterback, Colton Stamy, and he was able to move
the ball down the field and the Eagles put a
really impressive drive together, capped off on a touchdown pass
because Aiden Smith a minute twenty one left to play,
and that made it twenty to seven. Bishop mcdebbit, I
think Crusaders was unable to move the ball down the
field in the last minute twenty one left, so it's

(01:14:52):
stayed twenty to seven. And Marty pointed out as Cumberland
Valley's going to get the ball to start the second half,
it's one of the chances to score right before halftime
and then score again. If Eagles are able to go
down and put some points on the board, we'll really
have a ballgame here. Obviously, Bisha mcdabitt looking to shut
that down quickly and get it back. But Marty had

(01:15:14):
some first half stats.

Speaker 4 (01:15:15):
Yeah, just a couple that, you know, jump out at
Sebastian Williams unofficially as I was like, say, nine for ten,
seventy seven yards. Sean take Quick had a couple of
catches before he went out. Kish Palmer got a thirty
seven yard touchdown, the long throw of the night for

(01:15:37):
Sebastian Williams. Nazier Jones is just really taking the load
of the work for Bishop mcdebbit, nine rushes eighty.

Speaker 5 (01:15:47):
Yards for.

Speaker 4 (01:15:50):
Nazir Jones for Fisher mcdebit, it was it's just sort
of strange art that he kind of just felt like
mcdebitt was dominating his game. Switch the quarterback by coach
Ja Sjosh Roswald of Cumberland Valley has really worked out
well for them, and they go down for the drive

(01:16:13):
the touchdown, perfectly thrown pass for Cumberland Valley and then
they kick off to mcdebit. Mcdebit, I just had a
feeling and I mentioned that they were maybe hoping to
break a long run where they could take a couple
of shots at the end zone on the plus side
of the fifty and couldn't get anything. So with twenty

(01:16:35):
some seconds left on the last play, coach Wector just
decided to let it run out. So we say it,
but we got to say it. Yeah, very important possession.
It's the difference between mcdebit gets off the field and
goes chance to open that score up a little bit
or Comla Valley you know, gets it in the end zone.

Speaker 5 (01:16:56):
Annow it's a one score game.

Speaker 2 (01:16:58):
I mean, we talk about what coach coach Wector is
and I mean now you'll get an opportunity, you know,
if the defensive coordinators to see, you know, what adjustments
they can make at the half. You know, we saw
Cumberland Valley put that good drive together with a bit
more of a mobile quarterback. We'll see what adjustments Bisha
mcdebit's able to make here oft the have you know,
try and shut that down here in the second half.

(01:17:19):
I mean you surprised him a little bit. You know,
you're dealing with the dropback type passer in Stamy there
for much of the first half. And I'm excited to
see what adjustice Bisha mcdebit's able to make on defense here.
As again the homecoming festivities taking place in front of
us right now, and we'll start awaiting the teams to return.

(01:17:42):
Here is six young ladies out on the field here
in front of us right now. We'll try and get
the names here for them on our next break. Who
is the Queen and King here tonight at Rock Partenzio
Stadium here for Bisho mcdebit. But you know you're the
crusaders here right now. I mean you're gonna see some

(01:18:03):
different attacks here. As you move down to Stretche it'll
be interesting to see what Central Dolphin is able to
do against mcdebitt. And then, you know, you get deeper
into the playoffs and the competition gets tougher, you're gonna
have to make some adjustments in these games at the
half and an opportunity for mcdebit. I mean, it's it's
good to not beat everybody fifty to nothing every week.

(01:18:23):
That was one thing when mcdebit changed the visions. And
you know, even if a Cumberland Valley might not be
having the best season they've ever had, there's still Cumberland Valley.
Same with Central Dolphin. You know, these are powerhouse programs
that have a lot of pride on these teams, and
you know they don't want to get blown out by
Bishop mcdebit. And you talked about if Altoona last week
they made mcdebit work. I mean, mcdebit eventually would put

(01:18:46):
the game into the Mercy World situation, but they had
the work to do it. Cumberland Valley's doing the same
thing here tonight. It's you know, they they punched mcdebit
in the mouth there of a good blow there before
half putting some seven points on the board. We'll get
an opportunity now to see how Devil responds.

Speaker 4 (01:19:02):
And we talked about I think off the air, I
really kind of concerned with mcdebit against the pass rush
because Sebastian Williams has not had a lot of time.
He's been flushed out of the pocket a lot of times,
so he's really not had a lot of times to
you know. He is still nine for ten, so of

(01:19:22):
course a lot of quick outs, you know, and that
type of thing. So we'll see how if you want
to talk about an adjustment, see how the offensive line
adjusts and what the offensive coaches decide to do as
far as extra protection or running some things that would

(01:19:43):
slow down the blitz a little bit, throwing into the
teeth of the blitz where it's.

Speaker 5 (01:19:47):
Coming from an end. So we'll see a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:19:51):
It was easy to say for four years, I mean,
you just knew Stone Saunders. He was incredible, and nothing
against Sebastian for he was certain.

Speaker 5 (01:20:03):
He's a junior quarterback.

Speaker 4 (01:20:04):
He's in his sixth varsity game, actually seventh now, so yeah, so.

Speaker 5 (01:20:11):
He will learn and is learning, and he.

Speaker 4 (01:20:14):
Throws a really nice ball he does, and that's why
he's very accurate even with being rushed.

Speaker 2 (01:20:20):
A lot time. And you know, and also a Sebastian's
ran the ball a couple of times at night no
one was called back by penalty. Probably his best run
out of him. But he's able to do that with
a quarterback draw give him the option to run the
ball and he's he's very effective at that. So that's
definitely a nice weapon, you know, in his arsenal for
Bishoon McDevitt as well as we see Cumberland Valley now

(01:20:41):
appearing a tour left. As we mentioned many times tonight,
there white jerseys with the red numbers, the white helmets
with the CV on him and the red pants Nebraska.

Speaker 4 (01:20:53):
According to Marty, they just reminded me of Nebraska of
the eighties. I think they should have a little gidda
up in their step coming here out at halftime after
that touchdown and knowing that they're going to get get
the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:21:09):
Oh, they're pleased with, you know, their wins the last
two weeks against CD and CD East and last week
they had four sacks in that game. They had some
turnovers early on, you know, to jump out to a
lead in that game. So they came in here feeling
confident the night that they could hang in here a
little bit and they've done a nice job. As we mentioned,

(01:21:29):
and we said it again. The first possession of second
half obviously key. And we'll see what mcdebitt's defense can
come up with if they can make some adjustments here
and get get the ball back quickly to their offense
and then try and get it back to a more
comfortable score situation. All right, we're gonna take our final
break at tonight's halftime show. Mcdevit's up twenty to seven.
Want to thank Eli Wessler for the scoreboard update. Back

with the SEC. So we're just about ready to get rolling.
Here Marty as our Crusaders will kick off going right
to left from the press box side things. You're at
Rock Partenzio Stadium and still know Gorilla as Campbell Milch

(01:25:09):
will kick off for Bishop mcdebitt. Pines back deep along
with Hackenberry for a Cumberland Valley. Here's a wine drive kick.
This one will be caught at the eight. They return
it back to the twenty and get up to about

(01:25:30):
the twenty four yard line, and that's where Cumberland Valley
will set up shop. And that was Pines on the
return for the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (01:25:43):
Xavier McFarland on the stoppart and he made a really
good tackle there and would not let go and kind
of keep Cuverland Valley back a little bit at the
twenty five.

Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
So here come to Eagles. They go left to right
from the press box side of things here at Rock
Ortenzie Stadium. Three white outs to the near side, one
to the far and here's a pass over the middle,
and this one is knocked down. He tried to hit
a number two Collins on that one and for Bishop mcdebitt,
Patrick Wright knocked that one down.

Speaker 4 (01:26:17):
Marty, great defense by right uh. The receiver had the
inside position right, did not go over his back, did
not go through him, did not put that offhand around him.
He just able to reach over and knock the ball down.
A good job in his secondary by Patrick Wright.

Speaker 2 (01:26:35):
Three wide outs again for the Eagles to the near side,
one to the far and Wolfe will keep it himself,
takes it up the middle of a penalty flight comes
flying in from the backside of the play and.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
The near side. Refue would think that usually means the receiver,
but he'd actually pointed to the mcdebit's side, and I
thought thought it was a right on the line of scrimmage.
On the snap, the flag came out really.

Speaker 2 (01:27:05):
Quick, so it's against mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (01:27:15):
Couldn't quite see that signal.

Speaker 2 (01:27:20):
Personal foul against Bishop mcdebitt, you know. So I'm not
sure what happened there.

Speaker 4 (01:27:29):
Just that had to happen interior. That's what we won't
know until we see the video. Because that happened it.
Like I said, it happened to be in the interior
of the defensive line.

Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
Balls at the forty one yard line. He goes have
a first down and ten now three wide outs bunged
up on the near side, one white out in the
fore side. Wolf awaits a snap. Here comes the pressure
fires when over the middle of tenth and it's intercepted
by Bishop mcdebit. Crusaders down the sideline. I think that
was Ryan Hart and he's run out of bounds inside
the thirty five yard line.

Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
I didn't see who got the tip. Ryan Hart doing
what a safety should do, laying back there sort of
the center fielder. The ball gets tipped and it gets
tipped up and Ryan Hart gets it on the run
and mcdebitt setting up at the thirty five yard line.

Speaker 2 (01:28:20):
So opportunistic defense by Bishon mcdebitt. That's one way to
stop the Eagles offense. And bish mcdebitt, now we'll have
it at the thirty five yard line of Cumberland Valley.

Speaker 5 (01:28:33):
I cannot see who got the tip.

Speaker 4 (01:28:35):
Might and we'll try to find out for you might
have been right, all.

Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
Right, Crusaders have it, and here's a pitch to the
outside and Nazier Jones Davis gets down to the thirty one,
got four the second down and six.

Speaker 4 (01:29:00):
And Brody Pines gets the original hit in the backfield
art and that was huge for Cumla Valley. He's fighting
off a block, gets enough of Davis as he goes
by to keep it from turning into a really big game.

Speaker 2 (01:29:17):
Two white outs to the foreside for Bishop mcdebit, one
to the near and another handoff to Jones Davis and
he powers his way down the middle of the field
there down to about the twenty two, gain a nine
and the first down Bisho mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (01:29:31):
Thirteen quickyards here for Zier Jones Davis as he gets
the first two carries of the second half for the Crusaders,
and as we mentioned he carried nine times in the
first half for eighty.

Speaker 2 (01:29:45):
Ish Palmer and Gage. Ruth go out his white outs
for mcdebit over on the forest side, and mcdebitt's going
to run it again up the middle to swoops swoops
inside the twenty down to about the eighteen give him
about three and a half, so officially they'll get him

(01:30:13):
three yards could be second and seven at to nineteen
for Bishop mcdebitt, A Dish, Palmer and Ruth go out
on the far side. It's Holden Junior on the near side.
Sebastian working out some warders here and now Maurice Barnes
will switch sides of Sebastian Williams in the backfield. They
fake they hand off here as a pass over the middle,

(01:30:33):
the Holton junior inside the five down to the two
first and gold mcdebit, Marty. That's the same play they
ran at out Tuna last week.

Speaker 4 (01:30:42):
Yeah. I didn't want to interrupt you because they when
I saw the single coverage, I knew that they would
go to that. Not only did they do that, the
safety even backed out of that area, okay. And then
not only that, the defender gave him the inside. I
watched the defender turn his body, did not want to
get beat in the corner, so he gave him that slant,
which I can't understand. You'd have to see the film

(01:31:04):
from last week how you could do that.

Speaker 2 (01:31:06):
I formation for Bisha mcdebitt behind Sebastian Williams of Jack
Dawson in there, o'hann this one off the Maurice Barnes
and he gets in. They do finally signal touchdown Bishop
mcdebit a one yarder and the Crusaders, with nine h
eight left to play in the second half, go back
up twenty six to seven.

Speaker 4 (01:31:28):
Just power football. There they and a very good call
by coach Rector or if Sebastionion Williams did that. The
line of scrimmage saw I had the single coverage with
hoard Howard Holton and drilled that post in there to
Holten and he gets to the one yard line. The
Crusaders take it in from there.

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Milch the kicker for Bishop mcdebit Quintraff. The holder kick
is up and it is good. So the Crusaders go
up twenty seven to seven. Now nine oh eight. Let's
to play in the third. Let's take a break. You're
listening to Bishop mcdebitt football here in Fox Sports fourteen
sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 10 (01:32:08):

Speaker 3 (01:32:43):
The twenty twenty four five A State Jam play right
here on Fox Sports fourteen sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:32:52):
All right, welcome back to Rocker attend to you stadium. Here,
Fish mcdeviitd High School Crusaders back up twenty seven to
seven after the Ryan Hart interception, the nice pass to
Holton Junior down to the one, and then Maurice Barnes
takes it in from a yard out to put Visha
mcdebit up twenty seven to seven with nine to eight

(01:33:12):
left to play in the third.

Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
Here, Marty and we always talk about that first possession,
and in this case, we've talked about Cumberlo Valley having
a chance to get two for one after scoring late.
Not only does the mcdebitt defense get off the field,
they get off the field by securing a turnover and
putting the Crusaders in shape to drive in for a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:33:36):
So Bish mcdebitt will now kick off going right to
left from the press box side of things here at
rock Ortenzio Stadium. Back up by twenty now so Milch
will kick off two men back deep for the Eagles
standing inside their ten yard line. It's a line drive
kick that will bounce and this thing will roll into
the end zone as Pines tried to build that one

(01:33:59):
and it just went by him into the end zine
for the touchback.

Speaker 4 (01:34:02):
It's a good kick for the Crusaders to have that
no return.

Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
A lot of NFL kickers now are like working on
instead of just kicking it straight up in the air,
they kick it with some sort of a spin and
it's tough for the return guy to return it. I
kind of looked like that right there at the high
school level. So mcdebit's up twenty seven to seven. Now,
Cumberland Valley has it three wide outs to the near side,

(01:34:30):
one of the far and that wolf will keep it himself.
And mcdebitt's defense showing some adjustments as they shut that down.
Maybe your gain and that's it.

Speaker 4 (01:34:41):
RJ. Duffy, you kind of suspected he was there, art
because when they came up off the pile, RJ. Duffy
wasn't standing there for mcdebitt, and you just did it
by subtraction that it would be r J. Duffy once
again on the tackle.

Speaker 2 (01:35:00):
I suspected because he's always there's always he's like in
every play. That's how Lucas Lowler was. He just seemed
to be in the mix every play for Bishoon mcdebit
last year. Three white outs to the near side for
Cumberland Valley mcdebit threatens the blitz wolf back to pass.
He's kinna air went out on the near sideline and
this one is incomplete over here. Patrick Great on the

(01:35:22):
coverage for Bishop mcdebitt, and ball would have had to
have been perfectly thrown to drop in there.

Speaker 4 (01:35:32):
Yeah, it would have been was overthrown, so not a
chance for a completion air for the Eagles.

Speaker 2 (01:35:40):
Patrick Great, A lot of fun to watch play last week.
Just a spectacular interception up at Altuna where he went
up and came down. We went way high up into
the air and came down with a one handed pick
last week. You know, he's a lot of fun to watch.

Speaker 4 (01:35:54):
Ja Kai logan off and will Yost one of the
defensive ends out for the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
Three white outs to the near side for the Eagles
on third and nine, one to the far wolf back
to passer comes a pressure, he's hit as he releases it,
and this thing just falls harmlessly down the center of
the field. Closest receiver was Bet Collins, but he had
no chance. Had to get rid of that immediately. Marty No, and.

Speaker 4 (01:36:18):
Credit him for standing in there and taking a hit
and trying to complete that downfield.

Speaker 2 (01:36:24):
I think that was Maurice Barnes coming in with the
pressure on that one that time, and he got there quick.
And now Cumberland Valley will have to punt is Andrew Orterman,
we'll go back deep and he's a senior for the Eagles.
He's been busy tonight. Ish Palmer standing back at his

(01:36:45):
forty five. Eight eleven left to play in the third.
Mcdevin up twenty seven to seven. Now the stop at
your play here, and I think Cumberland Valley took a
time out here. Eight eleven left to play in the third.

(01:37:07):
Let's take one as well. You're listening to Bish mcdebit
football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio zero.

(01:37:36):
We're here Rocker attend too. Stadium art selby, Marty Bowman,
Rob Hoglise doing the PA announcements tonight up here in
the press box, and Eli Fssler back in the Fox
Sports fourteen sixty studios bish mcdebit up twenty seven to seven.
In this game, was twenty to seven at the half
and Tyler Reinhart with a interception and then I'm Reese

(01:37:59):
Born into a one yard run to put the Crusaders
up twenty seven to seven. The Eagles with a fourth
down and nine from their own twenty one yard line.
They took a time out there before the punt and
mcdevit applies some heavy pressure. They do get that thing off,
but it dies and Ish Palmer comes in and fields

(01:38:22):
it at the thirty yard line, takes it down inside
the twenty five down to the twenty two pass break.
Got a piece of that, Marty.

Speaker 4 (01:38:32):
Okay, Yeah, he came up the middle, and he came fast.
Couldn't tell whether they got anything of it or not.
And his Palmer decides on that really high and long
bounce to just gear up take out at full speed.
I almost as soon as he caught that punt, I
thought he.

Speaker 5 (01:38:51):
Was going to the house.

Speaker 4 (01:38:53):
Yeah. But fortunately for Cummon the valley, they were kind
of spread across the field, so I really didn't have
I have a return.

Speaker 2 (01:39:00):
Lane balls at the twenty three yard line of Cumberland Valley.
Seven to fifty eight left to play in the third
is twenty seven to seven. Mcdebit. Two white outs to
the near side, one to the far Crusaders will run
this thing to LaRue Junior. LaRue cuts inside, now spins
around and finally taking out of bounds at around the

(01:39:21):
seventeen yard line. It looks like.

Speaker 4 (01:39:23):
Pick of about six for LaRue.

Speaker 2 (01:39:26):
LaRue just kept spinning there and then, and finally they
were able to run him out of bounds. Clock stop
seven forty eight left to playing the third mcdebit's up
twenty seven to seven. Crusaders break cuddle gauge roof to
the far side, Liam Fuller in there at tight end,

(01:39:49):
Howard Holton Junior on the near side. I think LaRue
Junior still in the backfield to the right of Sebastian.
They fake the handoff. Now Sebastian looks outside, fires one
out there to Liam Fuller. He's got it inside to
fifteen and rumbles down inside to five for a first down.
Bishop mcdebit, game of about twelve.

Speaker 4 (01:40:10):
Damn four comes off that tight end position. Sebastian Williams
just lays it out there for him, holds onto it,
turns up Field gets the ball down to the five.

Speaker 2 (01:40:21):
So first and goal. Bishop mcdebbitt, Campbell Milch checks back
into the game along with Jack Dawson, Zach Brown's coming
out along with Gage Ruth for Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (01:40:34):
Really a chance for mcdebbit to really kind of I
would think put this away here.

Speaker 2 (01:40:38):
Art power, eye formation, Jack Dawson behind Sebastian Williams and
swoops in there. They'll give it to Swoops. Swoops tries
the initial play up the middle, doesn't have anything and
cuts out to the left, takes it into the end
zone from five yards out, and Bishop mcdebit goes up
thirty three to seven with six fifty seven left to

(01:40:59):
play in the third quarter.

Speaker 4 (01:41:00):
Marty nice run there by Swoops.

Speaker 5 (01:41:02):
Is it like you said?

Speaker 4 (01:41:04):
It was not there on the inside. He bounced a
little bit to the outside and able to take it
in from there.

Speaker 2 (01:41:11):
So the Crusaders go up thirty three to seven. Now
milchawing to attempt the extra point. For Bishop mcdebit, it's Countraff.
The holder kick is up and the kick is good,

(01:41:33):
so that makes it Bisho and mcdebit thirty four Cumberland
Valley seven six point fifty seven left to play in
the third. Let's take a break. You're listening to Bishop
mcdebit football here on Fox Sports fourteen sixty and iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (01:42:17):
Stronger together, unstoppable as one. This is Bishop mcdbit football
on Fox Sports fourteen sixteen.

Speaker 2 (01:42:30):
All right, welcome back to Rocker. Attend to you stadium
here at Bishop mc devid High School. Crusaders have definitely
answered in the third quarter here, Marty, they led twenty
to seven at the half. Cumberland Valley would get the
ball first, but would throw an interception as Reinhardt would
pick it off and then Barnes took it in where
one yard run the d would stop. Cumberland Valley quickly
get it back again Swoops with a nice punt return

(01:42:53):
on a punt that was deflected by Patrick Walker, and
then eventually Swoops would take it into the house from
a five yard out to make it thirty four to seven.

Speaker 4 (01:43:01):
Mcdebitt a turnover if they take advantage of and then
a partially tipped kick, who's not a good kick. Mcdebit
takes advantage of that also and be an opportunistic here
in his third quarter for the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
And now milchaw on to kick off for Bishop mcdebit.
Now two men back deep for Cumberland Valley. This one's
more of a high kick with short that'll be caught
at the twenty by the Eagles, and they will bring
this one back up to about the thirty yard line.
And I think that was the number five Hayden Johnson

(01:43:40):
to the chance.

Speaker 4 (01:43:42):
I want to stop when they kick off for the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
So we wondered if mcdebitt would make some adjustments at
the half, and they certainly have Marty. They get the
interception and then stop Cumberland Valley quickly on their next
possession and get it back. Eagles have it, but now
down by twenty seven with six fifty left to play
in the third Cumberland Valley comes from three white outs

(01:44:09):
over on the far side, one of the near.

Speaker 4 (01:44:12):
Eagles go back to Colton Steamy here art at the
QB and it was a little different was that the
McDevitt defense was able to stop that quarterback.

Speaker 2 (01:44:22):
This quarterback runs dam He's gonna fire one out here
on the near side, and it's incomplete. A penalty flag
comes flying in. Patrick Walker, the defender in the area.
But we'll see if that's a hold there. We wait

(01:44:43):
for the call and it is past interference against Bishop mcdebitt,
so they'll move that out to the forty five yard line.
Six left to play in the third quarter. Mcdebit's up
thirty four to seven.

Speaker 4 (01:45:05):
Umble Valley trying to come quick now getting up to
the light of scrimmage in a hurry.

Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
Three white outs to the far side, one of the near.
If Devitt threatens the blitz and they will hand this
one off and Cumberland Valley goes nowhere that time is
they try and spin up the middle that was Bushman.

Speaker 4 (01:45:27):
Campbell Milt's the first one to make contact and then
Jack ky Logan finishes it off.

Speaker 2 (01:45:38):
The second down and nine for the Eagles, six point
fifteen left to play in the third and running clock.
Crusader's up thirty four to seven. Eagles come with jade
nebro out. Here on the near side is a white
out along with Brudy Pines. Two white outs on the
far side, and here's a quick pass to the outside

(01:45:58):
out there and well designed, but mcdebit defends it well.
Patrick Walker in there for Bishop mcdebit. Also, it looked
like Zach Brown was out there as well.

Speaker 4 (01:46:08):
All su Maurice Barnes came out of his linebacker spot
to help close that down in a hurry.

Speaker 2 (01:46:15):
So they have a third down and six now from
the forty nine. As they picked up a couple just
trying to go to the outside there, but mcdebitt just
with too much speed out there to make a big
play that might work against some teams that Bishop mcdebitt
isn't one of them. So third down and six from

(01:46:35):
the forty nine, two white outs to each side of
the field. Stamy back the passer comes a pressure hit
as he throws and it's complete out here two Pines
at the forty yard line. Ball comes out late, but
they're going to rule it a catch. Stamey just took
a beating on that. When Marty is he released a.

Speaker 5 (01:46:54):
Huge hit and put it on the money out here.

Speaker 2 (01:46:59):
I don't know how he can completed that pass.

Speaker 4 (01:47:01):
I don't know how he got back up. I mean,
he was absolutely love him.

Speaker 2 (01:47:10):
So that'll make it first and ten at the forty
of McDevitt is under five minutes left to play in
the third, three white outs to the fore side for
the Eagles, one of the near one back in the backfield.
Mcdebit threatens the blitz Namy back to pass again, fires
one of the outside and tries to hit Brody Pines
over there, but just too far down the field two
mcdeviit defenders there Marty and.

Speaker 4 (01:47:32):
Yeah, and kind of a communications thing there. Coach Pines
might have had an opportunity, but the pass reallyers had
more towards the sideline from where he was.

Speaker 2 (01:47:45):
So it'll be second and ten from the forty for
the Eagles. They'll go with the three white outs over
in the far side. This time one of the near
that's Smith down here. One back in the backfield again.
Colt and Steamy chuck in formation back to his left again.
Here comes the pressure, fires one down the field, and

(01:48:07):
Reinhart was in the area to possibly pick that one.
Office Davey had to get rid of it as a
several mcdebbit players were bearing down on him.

Speaker 4 (01:48:16):
Yeah. Three crusaders and near Zach Brown, Maurice Barnes, and
Campbell Milch all converge on the quarterback and he takes
another hit.

Speaker 2 (01:48:28):
And then makes a third down and ten from the forty.
You got to give these Cumberland Valley quarterbacks credit hanging
in there as they're big. Tevitt is getting there and
hitting them right as they're releasing it. Three right outs
to the far side, one of the near one back
in the backfield again. Stamey waits a snap. Here comes

(01:48:49):
that pressure again, fires one. This one is high and
off his receiver's hands. Tried to hit Jane Niroll and
it is incomplete. This would be the NFL. I think
they would have called a penalty because they spun the
april down to the ground after he clearly didn't catch

(01:49:10):
it in The flag came in.

Speaker 4 (01:49:12):
Yeah, Carlos Smith seen some actioneer at one of the corners,
and he makes the defensive play.

Speaker 2 (01:49:25):
State College ahead a Cedar Cliff twenty three, twenty one.
Surprising score there a little bit. Not that State College
is winning, but but it's that close. Three white outs
to the far side, one of the near and they
will just do a pooch punt on four and ten
here and this one will do the job as it

(01:49:46):
dies inside the ten yard line at the nine, and
that's where McDevitt will set up shot. Now up thirty
four to seven, with four sixteen left to play in
this third.

Speaker 4 (01:49:57):
Quarter, still some time leften deep in their own territory.
I would think the coach rector would stay with the
first team offense here.

Speaker 2 (01:50:09):
Yeah, you think they'd maybe want to put one more
touchdown on the board here if you if you got
the touchdown and the two point conversion, you could make
it the mercy world situation.

Speaker 5 (01:50:21):
Point conversion to do that and not even the touchdown here.

Speaker 4 (01:50:28):
You're in a position where you want to get the
ball deep out of the out of your territory, in
the deep hole that you're in right now.

Speaker 2 (01:50:36):
Crusaders will come with two white outs to the near side.
They had two backs in the backfield with Sebastian and
uh Jones. Davis will run this one up the middle
for about three yards and it'll be second down and
seven for vision mcdevin. Second and six, they'll get them four.
Officially three point fifty left to play in the third

(01:51:02):
it's thirty four to seven. Mcdebbit. Crusaders break cuddle. It's
like Ish Palmer. I think that's Gage Ruth had here
on the near side, probably Holton junior in the fore side,
two backs around Sebastian Williams. This is Maurice Barnes, and
Maurice brings it up to the sixteen yard line. Mcdebit's
gonna be facing a third down and along three here.

(01:51:26):
As the clock takes under three and a half to
play in the third quarter, the Rue junior's gonna check
into the game for a vision mcdebbit, along with Chance Holmes.
Sebastian comes all the way over to the sideline to
talk to coach Westter.

Speaker 15 (01:51:41):
This time.

Speaker 2 (01:51:43):
Play clock at twenty. Sebastian Williams takes his playback to
the huddle. Crusaders break cuddle. At play clock's at ten.
The Rue will go out on the far side as
a wide out out there for a bishoon mcdebit. The'll
bunch up three wide out and the near side. Now
Larugo's back and lines up as a running back in

(01:52:03):
the backfield. Sebastian's gonna run it, takes it up the
middle and he's gonna have the first down. Sebastian did
a lot of running here party not eve they during
the play. He came over to the sideline to get
to play from coach Wicktor ran right back out to
the huddle brocuddle and then took it up the middle
for the first down.

Speaker 4 (01:52:23):
Yeah, he was looking to flare that out something quick
to the flat on the right side and it was
just all covered, so wisely tucked it, ran, secured the ball,
made sure he got the first down.

Speaker 2 (01:52:38):
Two point fifteen left to play in the third debit
up thirty four to seven. Two white outs to the
near side from mcdebit. One of the far Jack Dawson
in there the blocking back as the Crusaders are going
to run this one, and they will actually go to
the right side, and that Cumberland Valley defends it well
they do. Crusaders do pick up about two or three
yards on that one. That was LaRue Junior on the

(01:53:01):
run for the Crusaders. Second down and seven clock takes
down to a minute forty left to play. Here in
the third Bishop mcdebitt, he's trying to run some clock
here and pick up some first downs on the ground.

(01:53:24):
Here Gage Ruth out here in the near side along
with Fish Palmer. Holton Junior goes out on the far
side for Bisha mcdebbitt and they fake the handoff. Here's
a pass to the outside and this is incomplete. They
tried to hit Ish Palmer out here on the near
side and it's just unable to come down with it.

(01:53:46):
Just a walter and ball by Sabastian Williams.

Speaker 5 (01:53:50):
It's kind of turned up the field there.

Speaker 4 (01:53:52):
It was a well thrown and a long pass, I
mean from the almost the far hash all the way
to the sideline here and like I said, I should
kind of wanting to turn up feel too quick and
by my calculations, you're only the second incompletion of the
night for Sebastian.

Speaker 2 (01:54:12):
Third and seven for mcdevid at the thirty two white
outs to the near side, one to the far spashion
Williams back to pass. There comes a pressure. He's going
to come to the near side, trying to allude to tacklers.
Now goes to the opposite side of the field, throws
one toward Dish Palmer's direction over on the sideline. As
it's incomplete. Sebastian definitely the pressure was on in that time,

(01:54:34):
so it's incomplete. There'll be four and seven from the
thirty in mcdevid will after punt, Yeah, then forty four left.

Speaker 4 (01:54:40):
I think you could say he safely got rid of
that and just threw it out of balance.

Speaker 2 (01:54:47):
Showed a lot of athleticism to not take the sack
on that when Cumberland Valley was bearing down on him.

Speaker 4 (01:54:52):
When he turned the first time towards the near side,
he stumbled almost and he would have been oh back
about eight ten yards, but he able to maintain his balance.

Speaker 2 (01:55:05):
Crusaders will have to punt here now and it's a
high punt that will come down at the forty six
yard line and they'll down at it about the forty six.
That was the Ish Palmer plane for Bishion.

Speaker 5 (01:55:22):
Mcdebe David Smith.

Speaker 4 (01:55:23):
Yeah, Is Palmer got off the gut, got some some
hang time on't it cover the valiant good field position
with some time left on the.

Speaker 2 (01:55:33):
Board fifty three seconds left the plane the third it's
thirty four to seven vision mcdebit is the Eagles will
take over at the bisha mcdbbit forty seven yard line
going left to right from the press box side of
things here at Rock or Attendso Stadium. Otherwise you could
say they're heading in the union deposit direction. Eagles have
three white outs in the near side, one of the

(01:55:54):
far that's Zeton Smith over there again. They went back
to Colton Steamy here in the second half, stami back
to pass. Here comes a pressure tries one out on
the far sideline and this is incomplete as it sails
harmlessly out of bounds over there and.

Speaker 5 (01:56:10):
Waist short on there.

Speaker 4 (01:56:11):
Good pressure by Tron Dennis for the Crusaders.

Speaker 2 (01:56:19):
Stamey just having to get rid of that thing quickly.
So the Beck Collins number two for Cumberland Valley talken
to the coaches over on the other side to relay

(01:56:40):
this play in. It'll be second down to ten from
the forty seven. As the Eagles rush up to the
line of scrimmage, three white outs to the near side
one to the far Stami back to pass. Fires, one
down the middle of the field and in and out
of the hands to Beck Collins. He has it. That's
a touchdown, Marty, and somehow he's unable to catch it.

Speaker 4 (01:57:00):
Well, possibly on the coverage was right for the Crusaders
Patrick raight Art, and I'm thinking maybe him getting that
hand up. I don't know that he touched the ball,
but just getting that hand up kind of just kind
of played with the vision there, as you said, because
if he holds them into that, it's a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:57:20):
Third and ten now from the forty seven yard line
for the Eagles, three white outs to the near side,
one to the far Stami back to pass. There comes
the pressure. Fires went over the middle and they're gonna
call pass interference on vision. Mcdevit and carlu Smith dove
in there and knocked that out of there, but they

(01:57:40):
will call pass interference.

Speaker 4 (01:57:44):
I mean, they went made sure that everybody came to
the party on it.

Speaker 5 (01:57:48):
There's like four flags. It was just sort of weird.

Speaker 4 (01:57:50):
There was some stumbling going on, some contact, kind of
hard to tell what was what. I mean, I wouldn't
lose sleep on it if I was a coach until
I saw the video, and well, if I had a
good look at it, maybe I would. But it's kind
of hard to tell there. But all I know is
that the flags all converge at one spot.

Speaker 2 (01:58:13):
Would you really lose sleep on it even if it
was past interference? Marty No, all right, So twenty nine
seconds left to play here in the third mcdevit up
thirty four to seven. It's first down and ten at
to thirty two after the pass interference call on vision mcdebbitt,
there come to Eagles. Now Wolf will go out here

(01:58:34):
as a wide receiver. He was playing quarterback for a
good bit of the first half. I'll send three white
outs over in the far side. Now the penalty flag
comes flying in and I think that's a false start
against Cumberland Valley of twenty nine seconds left in the
third quarter. Here four. It's been a great atmosphere to

(01:58:59):
night rock into your stadium. Homecoming here tonight for the
festivities and honoring the nineteen eighty five district champion team
and the nineteen ninety five state champion team. Ricky Waters
is in attendance here tonight. Great mcdebit running back the
Notre Dame, a national champion from nineteen eighty eight. Pass
over the middle is incomplete, and Ryan Hart dove and

(01:59:25):
he's able to get up. That's the good news out
of that pass is incomplete. Cumberland Valley just trying to
air some passes down the field. Some of them are
almost prayers, almost, you would say, because there's so much
pressure on the quarterback. He's just trying to get rid
of it. And that one was one of them right

(01:59:47):
there as it fell to the ground. Twenty two seconds
left to play in the third quarter. Eagles have a
second and fifteen at the mcdebit thirty two. Crusader's up
thirty four to seven, two wide outs to the far
one of the kneel, and now they'll come with the
reverse here as they give it the wolf Wolf's got
a fire one down the field and this one is caught,

(02:00:09):
but they're gonna ruar it out of bounds and I
think there is a flag down. Zayden Smith came to
the sideline. Actually saw the Cowboys Green Bay game the
are night. There was a pass Dack threw deep down
the field and his receiver came back and just made

(02:00:32):
an unbelievable catch. And was able to stand bounds. That
play looked similar to that. It was ruled out of bounds,
but in any event, it's gonna be a penalty against
Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 5 (02:00:42):
Another passinger.

Speaker 4 (02:00:48):
It's hard to even describe what's going on in the secondary.
It seems like there's one or two receivers beside each other.
There's four or five, you know, blue plaid crucide here's
covering them, contact and.

Speaker 5 (02:01:02):
So on and so forth.

Speaker 4 (02:01:05):
That play there a lot of they had to double
reverse and then the pass out of it and catches it,
but unfortunately out of bounds.

Speaker 2 (02:01:13):
But they have Wolf in there coming onto reverse. Who
played quarterbacks the first half. Now here's a pass to
the outside to Brody Pines. He comes back forward and
makes a diving catch inside the ten down to the sixth.
So gain is sixteen in the first a goal for
Cumberland Valley with five seconds left to play in the
third quarter.

Speaker 4 (02:01:33):
Yeah, well, thrown ball there and Pines beats his man
on the far side on the deep out and the
balls just laid right.

Speaker 2 (02:01:41):
In there, and that is going to end the third
quarter of Fisher mcdevid up thirty four to seven over
Cumberland Valley was switch ends of the field with the
Eagles threatening in the red zone but the Prusaders ahead
thirty four to seven. Take a break. You're listening to
Bish Mcdevit's football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and
I Heardia.

Cru stady for another rag. This is Bishop mcdebit football
on news radio WHB, and I heard radio.

Speaker 2 (02:03:15):
All right, welcome back to Rocker. Attend to stadium here
at Bishop mcdeviit High School. It's home coming here tonight
and Bishop mcdeviit up thirty four to seven of the
Cumberland Valley Eagles putting together another drive here as they've
moved deep into mcdebit's territory. We switch ends of the field.
Is Cumberland Valley now driving towards the Dairy Street end
of the field here now as they'll have the ball

(02:03:36):
at the MCDEVIITD six shard line.

Speaker 4 (02:03:38):
Marty interesting there. During the break of the quarter, Coach
Josh oswald Art got the entire team together in dull
hot on one of those I think you know, whether
we win or lose, let's let them know that we
were here with this fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (02:03:53):
Stami in the snap's low. He's gonna fire one of
the outside and this is just too low as he
tried had to hit Brody Pines inside the five, and
it's incomplete, so to be second down.

Speaker 1 (02:04:13):
And goal.

Speaker 2 (02:04:15):
Scoreboard says balls on a twenty two, but it's certainly not.
It's at the six. So two three white outs to
the far side for Cumberland Valley, one of the near
Stamy rolls to the right, fires one in the back
of the end zone and it is incomplete. They're gonna
call pass interference. So I'm Patrick Wright, it's enough pass

(02:04:42):
interference calls up. Yeah, the last of the rest of
the season for my money.

Speaker 5 (02:04:45):
Again, hard to tell.

Speaker 4 (02:04:46):
Again, we'll see video. Look like right just got there
in time to break it up. But uh, you know,
art interesting and we knew that Cumberland Valley would throw more.
They're downfall has really been third inability to connect with
the passing game.

Speaker 5 (02:05:07):
They just haven't really.

Speaker 4 (02:05:08):
Had any kind of real continuity with the passing gay whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (02:05:14):
So the Eagles have it. Two white outs to the
near side, one back in the backfield. That is Johnson
back there, and they give it to him. He takes
it up the middle, pushed it forward and he's in.
I think how they're gonna say he didn't get in
and that was.

Speaker 5 (02:05:32):
Marty making a bad call.

Speaker 4 (02:05:33):
I thought he was in, did you not?

Speaker 2 (02:05:35):
I agree with you. I don't know how he didn't
get in. So Hayden Johnson has stopped inside the one
eleven and a half minutes left to play. In the
third mcdevid of thirty four to seven, Cumberland Valley trying
to put some points on the board. Stami under center
and he tried to keep it himself, gets pushed backward,

(02:05:55):
ball on the ground. See who came out there with it.
I think Cumberland Valley recovered it. S Stamy just try
and take it up the middle there, Marty, and you
could just see him get pushed backwards. And now that
sets up a fourth down and goal from the one

(02:06:17):
for the Eagles. So we'll see if the mcdebit defense
can get a stop here. So we're down to ten
forty three left to play. In the fourth mcdefit's up
thirty four to seven Cumberland Valley. Two wet outs to
the far side, one of the near Stamey not lining

(02:06:38):
up directly under center, Wolf goes in motion. Now lines
up on the end. Stamey waits to snap go hand
this one off up the middle to Hayden Johnson who
takes it into the end zone for a Cumberland Valley
Eagle touchdown and if ten nineteen left to play, mcdebit's
up thirty four to thirteen.

Speaker 5 (02:07:00):
It was just good power football there. Hayden Johnson just able.

Speaker 4 (02:07:03):
To just get up a good burst of speed and
take it into the end zone.

Speaker 2 (02:07:15):
So Johnson takes it in to make it thirty four
or thirteen.

Speaker 4 (02:07:21):
And you would think that they would be going for
two here.

Speaker 2 (02:07:28):
All sorts of substitutions here, and it does appear they're
going to go for two as it's like Wolf's in
there now at quarterback again. He rolls to the right,
has pressure, fires a bullet over the middle that's deflected

(02:07:50):
and incomplete his look like number ten Carler Smith was
in there for Bishop McDevitt to knock that away. The
score remains mcdevid thirty four Cumberland Valley thirteen, ten nineteen
left to play. Let's take a break. You're listening to
Bish mcdebit football here in Fox Sports fourteen sixty and
I heard radio.

Speaker 6 (02:08:11):

Speaker 2 (02:08:50):
All right, welcome back to rock Or attends to stadium here,
Bisihon mcdevidd High School, Selby Murdy, Booman, el F Fsler
back in the studios. Cumberland Valley on the board, Haydon
Johnson a one year touchdown run. The two point conversion
is no good. Cumberland Valley cuts mcdebit's lead to thirty
four to thirteen with ten nineteen left to play, and
Cumberland Valley will kick off.

Speaker 4 (02:09:10):
Marty Yeah art uh Carlos Smith a second breakup for
him when that pass into the end zone, probably the
first in about eight passes. It's not eight, but it
seemed like eight that there wasn't an interference call on
as a matter of fact, forty seven yard drive it

(02:09:30):
did not, you know, finish with any points, but thirty
three of those were on penalties.

Speaker 2 (02:09:37):
Wow, all right, So Cumberland Valley will kick off here
now is Chase Snyder will kick off going right to
left on the press box side of things here at
Rockertendee Stadium, Ish Palmer back deep form, mcdebitt standing at
his six yard line and Ish, we'll catch it at
the ten. He's got to twenty cuts to the left side,

(02:10:00):
twenty five, tries to turn a corner thirty up to
the forty and is knocked out of bounds at around
the forty two yard line, and he is just electrifying Marty. Yes,
so fair, I would.

Speaker 4 (02:10:11):
Say it was safe to say that he did turn
the corner all the way out to the UK. Just
take the spot out to forty three.

Speaker 2 (02:10:18):
So mcdebitt will take over there up thirty four thirteen,
with ten oh eight left to play in this game. Sure,
Cumberland Valley is gonna get a big Toasa mcdebit's running
game here to try and eat up a lot of
this clock. Bishom Mcdebit's football brought to you by a constellation.

(02:10:42):
We bring the energy and stay tuned. In our post
game show tonight, we'll have our player of the game,
brought to you by Game Day Men's Health, defining a
new era in men's health. Shaders have it with two
white outs to the near side, one back in the
backfield with Sebastian and they will run this one. I
think that's the rude junior and he is able to

(02:11:05):
get up to about the forty seven yard line, got
about four. It'll be second down and six for Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (02:11:12):
For not much there, Art, he was at him, get
four out of that.

Speaker 2 (02:11:18):
He did a nice job for sure.

Speaker 4 (02:11:21):
O LaRue Junior coming off favoring his shoulder the way
it looks. Yeah, it's about the third one of those
that we've had tonight.

Speaker 1 (02:11:30):
Art, Yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:11:32):
R J.

Speaker 2 (02:11:32):
Duffy had one of those earlier tonight. Came back and
played well though. Since two white outs to the far side,
one of the near for mcdebitt. They line up two
running backs to the left of Sebastian Williams. Interesting formation
there and now they will hand this one off the
swoops who tries the left side and he will run

(02:11:54):
up the middle to about the fifty. They get three
yards and it'll be a third down and three for
Bishop mcdebitt.

Speaker 5 (02:12:02):
Mcdebott using all the play clock there, Art, you.

Speaker 2 (02:12:06):
Don't see that a lot in the football where you
have two backs line up both on the same side. Yeah,
you do not see mcdebit. A lot of times through
the years will have a back on each side of
the quarterback, but not two on one side like that.
I'm sure I've ever even seen him do that before.

(02:12:27):
So here come the Crusaders now on third and three
from the fifty eight and a half left to play
in this one, mcdebit's up thirty four to thirteen, one
wide out to each side of the field, one back
in the backfield to the rightest. Sebastian. Now he'll fire
one of the outside the Gage roof. He's got it
for the first down down to the thirty nine yard line.
Walter and ball by Sebastian Engage doing a nice shot,

(02:12:47):
catching it and securing it for the first down.

Speaker 5 (02:12:51):
Yeah, for sure, Art, first reception of the night for
Gage Ruth.

Speaker 2 (02:13:01):
Fall comes down to the thirty nine yard line. Liam
Fuller checks out for Bishop mcdebitt, as does Zach Brown
comes out of the game for the Crusaders. Gabe Roofe
will switch ends to the field. Here will go out
in the foreside as a wide receiver of Fish Palmer.
Jack Dawson lines up as blocking back. Now goes in
motion and they will hand this one off up the

(02:13:23):
middle to Swoops who burrows his way down to the
thirty one game to eight for Bishop mcdebitt and a
second down and two Bawl's right at the thirty one
yard line's Bishop mcdebit up thirty four to thirteen. With

(02:13:45):
seven and a half minutes left to play in this.

Speaker 4 (02:13:47):
One, Thesign Jones Davis with one hundred and eighteen now
aret on set sixteen gears.

Speaker 2 (02:14:00):
Ruth will go out on the far side along with
Ish Palmer. Jack Dawson lines up on the end for
Bishop mcdebit. Maurice Barnes in the backfield Harold Holton Jr.
On the right side. Dawson goes in motion. They give
it to Barnes and Barnes pushes forward up to about
the twenty eight yard line. It'll be a first down.
Bishop mcdebbit is the chains will move and we're under

(02:14:25):
seven minutes left to play here at Bishop mcdebbit up
thirty four thirteen. Clotte continues to roll here. Wow, Crusaders
break cuddle here. Barnes will stay in the backfield at
Ish Palmer and Gage Ruth out on the fore side.

(02:14:49):
Holton Junior to the right. Sebastian waits a snap. Crusaders
let that play clock run down a little bit. They
give it to Barnes and mcdevid will run this one
down to the twenty six yard line, so that would

(02:15:11):
be second and eight with six' ten left to. Play
Maurice barnon's will check. Out Jack dawson's gonna check out
For bishop, mcdebitt and looks Like Ish palmer will check
out For bishop mcdebit. Too His Gage roof goes out

(02:15:32):
on the far. Side out there along Was Zach brown and.

Speaker 4 (02:15:35):
Is Zach brown line up in the slot for The.

Speaker 2 (02:15:37):
Crusaders sebastian shotgun. Formation he's got swoops in the backfield
and they will give it To. Swoops Cumberland valley gets
some movement into the. BACKFIELD a little bit is not
a whole lot there For bishop mcdebit as we're down
to five minutes left to.

Speaker 4 (02:15:57):
Play tried a different look there are we're a a
sprint sprint out handoff.

Speaker 5 (02:16:07):
By Sebastian.

Speaker 4 (02:16:07):
Williams there To Jones Davis art really didn't full cover
in the valley at all on that, one.

Speaker 2 (02:16:14):
Correct, Fine so we're down to five minutes left to.
Play here it's third and ad For bish mcdebada at
a twenty six crusaders breakcuddle gage roof to the far.
Side crusaders hustling. Around Holton junior comes out in the near,

Speaker 4 (02:16:38):

Mcdebitt now on third and eight from the twenty six
Ma Reice farns to the right Of Sebastian. Williams three

(02:18:07):
white outs to the far. Side, Now sebastian's gonna keep
it himself and he will get down to about the
twenty yard. Line so mcdebit will have a dwarf down
in two situations.

Speaker 5 (02:18:19):
Here, yeah we're gonna have a hold on that. One
it's the only thing it could be with the flag
in that.

Speaker 2 (02:18:23):
Location so holding against mcdebitt.

Speaker 4 (02:18:27):
One of two, Guys i'm not, sure SO i won't
point it.

Speaker 2 (02:18:30):
Out, So, lisa your thoughts on the game here.

Speaker 14 (02:18:34):
TONIGHT i think it's been a pretty good game so.
Far you, know a couple of.

Speaker 13 (02:18:39):
INJURIES i don't think that they're gonna be long, injuries you,
know out long. TIME i See John tay walking, around
moving around a little, bit so that's.

Speaker 14 (02:18:48):
Good that's a good. Sign BUT i think we're playing
a pretty good.

Speaker 2 (02:18:52):
Game you obviously follow the offensive line very. Closely what
are your thoughts on the development of line the line
play this.

Speaker 13 (02:18:59):
Year you, know these guys from the, beginning they just
wanted to build a bond right from the. Beginning and
that doesn't happen just on the. Field that happens off
the field as. Well so these guys are doing things
off the field that people really don't know. About getting
together after school, hours eating, together talking, together, texting and

(02:19:23):
encouraging each, other holding each other accountable in. School you've
got a really good group of kids out, here and
this group of seniors is pretty.

Speaker 14 (02:19:33):
Special there's a lot of them and they're really.

Speaker 2 (02:19:35):
Special Maurice barnes takes that one down to the twenty
nine yard, Line So bishon mcdebvon's gonna have a fourth
down eleven from the twenty. Nine, YEAH i, mean those
guys deserve the. CREDIT i, mean you don't win championships
unless you get the line play and you got to
give your quarterback and the skill of players time to
make the moves and do. Things and, YEAH i, mean

(02:19:55):
mcdebit was having to replace some guys this, year some
fort new. Guys, obviously you came back that the line
just continues to get better each week.

Speaker 13 (02:20:05):
They, do and a lot of people were talking about,
that but you, know the older guys stepped up to
mentor those younger, Guys so you, know that's what it's all.
About it's growth in that line and encouraging each. Other
and one of the things they wanted to do is
bond early. ON a lot of people said they picked
their momentum up later on in the, season but they

(02:20:25):
wanted to bond really early and that's exactly what they're.
