Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's now time for kickoff.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
They have done it two out of the last three years.
The Crusaders pour out onto the field. There the twenty
twenty four PIAA five A.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
State champions Cruz Sader Football is brought to you by
Constellation Energy, Tim Decker of Green Spring Advisors and Select
Physical Therapy. Now let's head out to the field with
your game announcers Art Selby, Rob Puglie and Marty Bowman.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
All right, welcome back to Chili. Rocker attends you stadium
here at Bisha mcdebit High School. Art Selby, Marty Bowman
and J. C.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
Floyd. Back into WHP five eighty studios covers.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
We're over on WHP five eighty tonight with the Hershey
Bears taking on the Lehigh Valley Phantom that we're on
Fox Sports fourteen sixty Fisher mcdebit doing in final preparations
before kickoff. Here, as are the Crusaders as I mentioned
here tonight on Senior Night, twenty eight seniors football players
and twelve senior cheer leaders or Saders in their gold helmets,
(01:02):
gold jerseys with the blue numbers, gold pants and the
State College Little Lions. We'll come into tonight with that
eight and one record, six game winning white jerseys, maroon
numbers play maybe white or gray pants tough to see
from here and the run Helman's Marty, Marty boom and
back in the press box here surely because we're just.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
About ready for football here.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Fans stressed normally here tonight is it's the regular season finale.
Hard to believe. Ten weeks ago mcdebit played in New
York Bros. World Classic, and here we are as we
finish up the regular season tonight. Here mcdebit playing for
a first round by and a top seed here in
District three to five A in State College. Also want
(01:46):
to advance and then have a great running at the
six A level, Marty, you.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Know the nice thing since they started in the districts
having the championship game at a neutral site, which you know,
everybody knows, me knows it should have been that way
all the time. To take that away from a team
that loses by a few percentage points. We'll review the
coin time mcdebitt won the toss deferred State College will
uh well receive mcdebit's gonna be going from right to
(02:13):
left on the radio dial from Union Deposit Road towards
Darius Street. Anyway, right, the uh, just the whole idea.
A one or two makes it no different, right, makes
it until you get to the as long as you're
winning it, of course, But if it gets gets to
the final four, one is playing four to two is
planning a three.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
It's as the color of the uniform you're were and
might might be affected.
Speaker 5 (02:36):
Besides that, yeah, exactly exactly. But yeah, so that's uh,
you know, the top two is what you really want
to do. This this should be you know, everybody's anticipating
it to be a great, great game. I don't know
how much. Last year, I mean State College they came
out like lasers. They were throwing the ball over the field,
(02:58):
they were beating mcdebbit up, went up twenty one nothing
and then you know, and I'm sure you probably told
the fans about that, and then it ends up mcdevin
claws all the way back, only to have State College
go up again, buy a couple of touchdown, claws back
again and loses by three.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
One of the most exciting high school football games we
probably have ever called together.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
I mean, I think the Airy.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Cathedral Prep game out and the boys, especially since that
was a playoff game, was pretty exciting. But fifty eight
to fifty five hard the top it. We'll see if
they can find a way to do it tonight if
they If they do, it's going to be quite a story.
Rell is gonna kick off towards the Union Deposit end
of the fraction, actually the Dairy Street end of the field. Here,
Marty and their two men back deep for State College
(03:42):
and he drills this one high and deep, and this
one will sail out of the back of the end
zone for a touchback back deep that time that was
a code.
Speaker 4 (03:51):
And he just watches that sale out of the zone.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Marty, Thank you ever pick that up. Can bring back
a quarter pounder from McDonald's down on Darry Street. We
haven't seen Aiden for a few weeks now, and really
look good on that one.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
And now Milch did a really nice Campbell Milch. It's
a really nice job the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
For Fish and mcdevin.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
It's great to be back at Rocker Attenzio Stadium. We
were getting used to doing games over the landers Field
as we were over there the last two weeks, and
I think coach Rector said in all the years he
had been coaching football that he had never coached at
the same stadium as a as a road team two
weeks in a row. All right, here we go State
College going left to right on the radio, Dowt from
(04:30):
the home side of things here at Rocker Attenzio Stadium.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Quarterback Kolka back there.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
He's got two white outs to the near side, one
back in the backfield.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
And now.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Officials blew the whistle here and I'm going to have
a time out. State College.
Speaker 5 (04:48):
They had to call it that they were going to
get a delayed game penalty. They had to call him.
Not sure what State College was seeing there. They had
plenty of time, but just not really seeing it.
Speaker 2 (04:59):
Stay tuned in our post game show tonight we'll have
our game Day Men's Health Player of the Game, defining
a new era in men's health. And so many of
these games as every year. Bish mcdebbit is tough to
pick just one guy. If last week I went with
three players, but there's so many guys that put up
big numbers on this Bishop mcdebit team.
Speaker 5 (05:20):
Up front, Art the Crusaders, Sir, going with Jack Dawson
and they're going with the big guy up front there
at one of the tackle spots. Looks like they're gonna
play Zach Brown as a stand up defensive end.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Ark it doesn't appear to be the key. So we're
about ready for football again. First down and ten from
the twenty yard line, Little Lions go left the right
to bring a man in motion. Here's a quick pass
to the outside. This one is complete the lustic and
he takes it up over the thirty yard line to
the thirty one for a game of eleven and a
first down for the Little Lions.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Smith and they're in that tackle, but not before they
get a first down. So also up front from the Crusaders,
this Jakai logan.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
This time.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
They'll come with two white outs to the fore side
this time, and back to pass is Calk. He'll fire
one down the field and this one's almost intercepted by
Reinhardt up around that fifty yard line, just out of
off his fingertips and incomplete.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Yeah, rein Harder got a pair last week, had a
great opportunity there and just missed it.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
Just missed it, yep, just off the fingertips over in
the far sideline there. So it'll be second down and
ten from the thirty one yard line for the Little Lions. Again,
two white outs to the fore side, a bunch of
two guys on the end. Now they'll run this one
to the outside out here and mcdeviit defends it well
(06:53):
and they take them down out of bounds over here
in the near sideline.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
So they got about one on that one, and that
was Fie on the carry.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Patrick right in there for Bishop mcdebitt along with the
killing Smith. So the rest of the up front art
we have Chris Thompson at a tackle spot and at
a near sight tight end. We have Jack Dawson.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Cheffy accounted for four touchdowns last week and their victory
against Carlisle was fifty eight to eight.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
There's a path that's tapped up.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
In the air and incomplete and the mcdevon defense gets
it down an Avin Mary that was number seventy three
to Kay Logan in there to bat that one down.
Speaker 5 (07:36):
Yeah, it's one of those that it bounced off his
hand away because that was one of those ones where
if it would have went up in the air, there
have been a lot of yellow shirt, golden helmet guys
that it would have had a shot.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
At to Stay College gets the first down and then
mcdebit shuts him down after that. To Stay College will
have to hunt here and we'll bring Markowski onto the field. Here,
Ish Palmer beck deep at his thirty yard line. It's
getting started. Ten fifty six left to play. Late substitution
for State College and here's the snap. Debit does get
(08:09):
some pressure on there. It's just gonna let this one
go out of bounds over here in the near side.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
You should get a good field position because that really
came to the right to the near side.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Official still walking, he's at the thirty eight yard line now,
still walking, and he'll spot it at about the forty
yard line, So excellent filled position for Bisa mcdebit, Marty
is a proceders will drive towards Staerry Street now and
the offense comes out into the field. John Tate quick's
still out tonight for Vish. Mcdebbit optimistic. We'll have him
(08:43):
back for playoffs.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
Shoot slow still out for the Crusaders tonight also.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
Well.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
David Smith will probably be near at the center. It
looks like Devott two white outs to the far side.
One of the near Sebastian Williams back to pass as
time guns one of the outside and when is incomplete
around midfield as he I think he tried to hit
Holton Junior that time.
Speaker 5 (09:07):
If Coach Wector goes right to the air a little
uh puts four four receivers out in the pattern and
might have just been a little bit too tall for Holton. There.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Swoops in there running back for Bisho mcdeviitt leam Fuller
in there at tight end and the Gage Ruth and
Ish Palmer out on the far side. Holton Junior on
the near side. Swoops lines up in the backfield to
the right of Sebastian. They'll give it to Swoops cuts outside.
He's got the forty five and dives forward up to
(09:38):
about the.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
Nine yard of mind. Those spot it. Those spot it
at the forty eight, so it'll be thirty two.
Speaker 5 (09:46):
A big pick up there. I was kind of curious
is to see how State College reacted with a first
down in completion. You're almost guessing the run, and it
was the run. But Swoops able to find that hole
and pick up eight.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Bolton Junior goes out on the fore side as the
receivers to switch sides. Here Swoops still in the backfield,
they're going to run it to him. Swoops up the middle,
pushing forward, and he shows some serious power on that one, Marty,
and the bulldozes his way down to the forty seven
and the mckevin first down.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Hey, we'll give him five on that art and to
carry thirteen yards already for Swoops, And as you said earlier,
he was the workhorse last week for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
That was an impressive run by Swoops because they usually
could have stopped him there before he got to the fifty,
and he just kind of was like a buzzsaw in
there to push forward to get three more and leave
no doubt whether or not it was the first down.
Three white outs to the far side. Here's another handoff
to Swoops cuts outside. He's got the thirty eth penalty
flag comes flying in though, because he gets down to
(10:49):
the twenty.
Speaker 4 (10:50):
Five and there is a flag back in the forty four.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Yeah, gotta think that's holding. One of the players from mcebbit,
one of the linemen was actually on the ground and
I think he's the one who got called for the holding.
Maybe just try to hold onto the guy as as
he was going down, so a big pickup for Swoops.
But it's all or not. It's coming back.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Something we've talked about, and I know you've really talked
about it, Marty, as mcdebbit has got to cut down
on the penalties.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
It's just Tommy Ayre.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
When you're playing teams like State College, Pin Richland and
so forth, you just cannot have these penalties.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
Swoops will get credit for three yards on that pickup
and then the penalty is marked off from there.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
So it'll be first down and twenty two for mcdebit.
Back at the elips, it's the most of the forty
one yard line, three wide outs of the far side,
one of the near Sebastian back to pass. Here comes
a pressure dumps the screen pass off to Swoops. He's
got the forty five fifty forty five is State College.
It gets down to about the forty four yard line
(11:59):
as we're a little bot it, so that's about a
gain of about fifteen.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
I think, okay, well we'll do fourteen on that art.
Fifteen nine and six is fifteen art. Why don't you
say that?
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Is that I'll make it second and seven for mcdebit
from forty four. Now swoops checks out. Sam Fuller is
going to come back into the game as a tight
end for a fish and mcdebit. There Holton Junior out
on the fore side, Fish Palmer on the near side
(12:34):
from the Crusaders, one back in the backfield's a fashion,
awaits a snap and he'll hand this one off up
the middle, and that's Maurice Barnes. And Maurice picks up
about a yard and that's it. So mcdebit now facing
a big third down and five here. But the opening
drive of the game for them, I think the score
(12:58):
was already like twenty one seven by this time last year.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
It seemed like it was for sure.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
It was twenty one nothing. But I think it became
that with like a minute or two left in the
first quarters.
Speaker 4 (13:12):
Just felt that way.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
All right, here come the Crusaders now, two white outs
to the near side, one to the far that's Ish
out on the far side, one back in the backfield.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Stapelitz come in here.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Spires one outside. He's got his man for a first
down inside the thirty. That's Holton Junior. And that's about
a twelve yard game and a first down. Vision Mcdeviitdy
was wide open, mind was.
Speaker 5 (13:34):
Wide open, absolutely right right pick up at twelve. It
doesen for Holton, wide open, turned it up field, got
some yards after catch and mcdebitt comes through on third
down with that, It now has a first and tent
on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Zach Brown checks into the game for mcdeviit. See if
they try that little shuffle pass that they ran with Zach,
See if they can come up with that.
Speaker 4 (13:59):
Here, Gage Ruth my foreside.
Speaker 5 (14:00):
Zac actually coming as a wide on this one.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
Sebastian waits a snap. Now they bring Zach and motion here.
Now they'll pitch this one to the outside. That's Larrue Jr.
Cuts around to twenty five. He's got the twenty. He's
got to fifteen and pushed out of bounds around the
ten yard line. Gave him about twenty and another first down.
Bish mcdebit.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
What they did there are with Zach Brown near side
to the far side of motion, stopped, turned, came this
way and then turned again and led the blocking on
that play.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
So that puts it at the ten and first and goal.
Bishop mcdebit seven half minutes left to play.
Speaker 5 (14:45):
First quarter.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
NOWS score in the game where Sader's driving towards the
Dairy Street end of the field, the rude junior in there.
They have Zach Brown in there. It's a power eye
formation for Bishop mcdebbit. Dawson goes in motion in this
one to LaRue. LaRue puts the ball on the ground
and I think State College is going to recover it
(15:07):
and they do.
Speaker 5 (15:13):
Just really nothing there are I think it was pre contact.
I don't know. He was making a cut looking to
turn up field, downfield if you will, from that position
and just drop the football the way it looked they should.
Speaker 2 (15:27):

Speaker 5 (15:43):
Okay, the ref is taking Zach Brown out of the game.
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Okay, yeah, Zach Brown came out of the game and
he's not hurt.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
This could be a a knee pad thing that he
might not have won.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Or Milch comes into the game for them and State
College this time the quarterback will take it and Kolka
will keep it themselves, takes it up the middle for
about a yard.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
That's it.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
Maurice Barnes big on that plate. Creighton Milch also in
there at that linebacker spot for the Crusaders, trying to
keep an eye on Zach Brown to see if he
can find knee pads. I didn't see him come back
on yet.
Speaker 2 (16:26):
Art Kolka in the shotgun. He's got two white outs
to the near side. Mcdebit comes with the run blitz
and they get there and hit him in the backfield
for about a three yard loss.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
Looks like r. J. Duffy and Maurice Barnes again, always
around of football.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
Now mcdebitt read that with well, Marty and that makes
a third down and they'll say twelve. I think that's
a generous spot.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Probably third down and twelve for the little lines as
they drive towards the Union deposit end.
Speaker 4 (16:56):
Of the field. Big play for the mcdebit defense to.
Speaker 5 (16:59):
Yeah, a good chance to it off here and maybe
get the ball a decent field position again.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Going in motion as Lukach two white outs to the
near side, one to the far.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
Chef.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
He's in the backfield to the rate of quarterback Kolka.
Speaker 4 (17:15):
Playclock was down to one.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Kolka snaps at fires one down the field and a
jumping catch and I think he's gonna be at a
bout of bounds.
Speaker 5 (17:24):
Yeah, it made it a great catch, a great throw
over the defender to the sideline, but the momentum just
carried him out of bounds. So it'll be a fourth
down for State College. Fourth than twelve Isham.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
Homer will go back deep and Stay College about to
punch from their own end zone.
Speaker 5 (17:41):
Here's one thing that they're gonna have to remind ish
on these high punts. You've gotta make sure if you're
gonna catch it, that you have time.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Markowski punts one.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
This one will be bounced and it dies right at
the forty yard line. So vision mcdevin without standing field
position to start this second drive here, just forty yards
from the end zone. Five point forty nine left to
play here in the first quarter, Forsaders, the opening drive
got down to the ten yard line and fumbled the
ball to ten. But the defense rises to the occasion. Martin,
(18:15):
we'll get the ball back here now for mcdeviit's a
second offensive possession of the night.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
They had a really nice drive, very balanced, which was
I made it up here a little light was Mike
key to the game was balanced on offense for mcdebit.
But we'll see what they want to do here. See
if they want to take a shot.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Early Dawston goes in motion. They give it to Swoops again.
Swoops up the middle. He's got the twenty. He's got
to fifteen, and he's tackled down from behind it about
the eleven yard line. A nice tackle there by Anderson
Bryan keep him from taking it to the house.
Speaker 5 (18:48):
Take a twenty nine yard game for Swoops did a
cut there in mid in the mid run. They're going
to mark it the twelve, so we'll give him twenty
eight and he did a cut there, and.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
So first down mcdebit at the twelve yard line of
State College. Jack Dawson checks out gage roof, goes out
to the far side along with Ish Palmer. It's Holton
Junior in the near side from mcdebit. Swoops in the
backfield to the right. He'll give it to Swoops again.
Takes it to the outside and this time State College
defends it pretty well as they take them out of
(19:25):
bounds Anderson Fry in there again with other players, look
like Rowan Walker in there as well, and Hank Lustig
over there on the outside as well for the little line,
so he'll lose a yard. He'll be second eleven from
the thirteen gage roof goes out on the far side
(19:48):
with Fish Palmer Holton Junior on the near side. See
if mcdebit tries that play action fake that worked the
Holden Junior a couple of weeks in a row, and
they do it, they'll fire one of the outside. They
tried to hit Liam Fuller out on the outside and
just mixed up in communications there. Ball was a little
too far outside for Liam there.
Speaker 5 (20:09):
Marty, Yeah, and it was. There were two receivers on
that side. Liam was the short one. I wasn't sure
where Sebastian was going with that, whether he was going
to Liam coming off that tight end spot, or whether
they had a man down around the goal line. So
it wasn't quite sure exactly what they were doing there.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Three white outs to the far side for mcdebit. One
of the near swoops in the backfield. On third and
eleven from the thirteen, Sebastian back to pass there comes
a pressure of fires one towards the corner and this
one is incomplete good coverage out there for State College
and with Devin see if they attempt to field go here.
Now here's Marilla coming out here.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Guys. Yeah, I think that was.
Speaker 5 (20:54):
Harold Holton out there and sub just couldn't get it
over the defender and down enough for Halton to look
at that. So two great chances for mcdebitt. You don't
want to come away with less than three here.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Now counter Raff, the holder for Mcdebitbrella onto tempest field
goal and the kick is up and it is good.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
So that's a thirty yarder for Abrella.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Who's been injured the last couple weeks, comes back and
he puts mcdebit on the board of four fifty three
left to play. In the first quarter, mcdevon goes up
three nothing over State College. And you're listening to Bish
mcdebit football. You're a news radio WHP five eighty and
iHeart radio.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
This is Bishop mcdebit football twenty twenty five on news
radio WHB five eighty.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Eight and Grella with a thirty yard field goal has
put bish m mcdebit up three nothing over State College
four fifty three left to play here in the first quarter,
Marty mcdebbitt with some golden opportunities to put some points
on the board.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
They left some points out there as.
Speaker 5 (22:29):
Here zone with forty three yards on five carries already
art but again no touchdowns to show for for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Grella will kick off towards the Dairy Street and the
things here Rocker Attendzeu Stadium. This is fielded at the
four Little Lions will return this from back on the
forest side out there. That is number six for them
that time. That's code and he does not get back
to the twenty yard line, so mcdevin continues with the
green special teams coverage Martin that we've seen the last
couple weeks.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
It was a good job there. I'm not letting him
get outside. That was a line drive type of kid
to gut down there in a hurry. But mcdebit really
rallied to the football on that too, like I said,
prevent him from getting outside.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
So the market at the eighteen yard line first intended
State College going left to right from the press box
side of things. Here at Rocker Attendeeth Stadium, Xader's up
three nothing now in the game.
Speaker 5 (23:24):
Here Austin mackins Jamison crumble at the corners for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Two white outs on the near side here for the
Little Lions, and this time the quarterback's going to keep it.
Halka takes it over on the far sideline for a
nice run to have a first down in war for
the Little Lions.
Speaker 5 (23:42):
Yeah, I mean, coach did tell us that he could run,
so he certainly got outside in a hurry there, And mcdebitt,
first time they saw him run tonight, really didn't have
anybody to, you know, account for him.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Two white outs to the near side for the Little Lions.
One of the fore side Kaulka in the shotgun formation.
He's got it back to his left, that Chefy Kalka
is gonna spin up the field to about the thirty.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Six yard line.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Got about we'll say three to four yards on that one.
He'll be second down and six for State College.
Speaker 5 (24:16):
Yeah, it was definitely more like four year right art
and a good first down pickup for the Lions.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Second and six from the thirty six already down the
four or twelve left to play first quarter, mcdebit's up
three zip. Two white outs to the near side for
State College. Lustig is one of them. It's like Fry
is at here as well. And one while out to
the fore side, Kalker will hand this one off to Chefy.
He's up the middle and gets up to the fifty
(24:44):
yard line. First down in ten State College. They got
fourteen on that one.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
Kiln Smith finally had to get the Chefy, but not
before he got to the fifty yard line. So mid
stripe and now they're going tempo. Here are the little Lions.
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Getting two white outs in the nearside. Polka back to
pass fires one down the field and this one's too far.
And that was about four to five yards ahead of
the receiver. Good coverage for Bush mcdevon on that one.
Speaker 5 (25:11):
Jamie and Crumble over there, really good coverage.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Art, So three forty two left the play, first quarter,
clock stops on the incompletion, second and ten from the
fifty yard line. You're on Senior Night at rack Pertenzio
Stadium again. Two white outs to the near side, one
to the far. We'll give this one to Chefy and
he takes it on the left side for a small
(25:37):
gain of about two to three and we'll have a
third down and seven for the little little Lions as
they get into mcdebit's territory.
Speaker 5 (25:44):
Here r J Duffy in there once again for the Crusaders, art.
I almost got to think fourth down if they don't
get it here is going to be contingent on how
how far they have to go on fourth down. Yet
I would think they might already be in four down territory.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Same formation, two white outs to the near side, one
to the far. Calco back to pass as time fires
went down the meadow and.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
This one's almost intercepted.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Smith was in there on that one as they tried
to get it to Lustic and it's incomplete.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
But keitland Smith was a really great defense. He'd play
there and Kaulka had all day that line formed that
pocket and it just was surrounding him.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
An interesting decision here is it's fourth down and eight
from the mcdebit forty eight yard.
Speaker 5 (26:30):
Well, it looks like it's decided unless they're going to
do one of those you know, pooch kicks.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Poochcacker, try and get mcdebitt to jump off side to
make it a little bit more manageable.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
Hukick goes in motion.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
And Kulka will do that pooch punt, Marty, good call
on that one. Nobody back deep for mcdebitt because this
one will keep rolling inside the ten and we'll finally
stop it about the seven and a half yard line.
Will a Colco with a nice punt there, Marty. But
mcdebitt's defense does the job, gets the ball back now
with a three to nothing lead here with two point
(27:08):
fifty two left to play here in the first quarter
here a rock Pertenzio stadium.
Speaker 5 (27:13):
Yeah they did. Mcdebit defense did do their job. There,
a great break up by a killing Smith without you know,
holding the defender getting an interference to anything. It was
a great call.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Mcdebit football brought to you by Constellation Energy, producing clean,
reliable energy, empowering new opportunities for families and communities across
Center Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
We bring the energy.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
And as there Jones Davis has brought the energy early
on here for Bishop mcdebit. Tonight, Sebastian Williams will hand
this one off off the middle and it is swoops
with a nice run again up there the fifteen yard
line to about the seventeen and I'll make it about
second and we'll say second and one.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
You will call that nine.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Swoops in playoff mood here already for mcdebitt Crusaders with
a second down and one two and a half minutes
left to play in the first quarter, and mcdeviit will
run it again, swoops off a first down, he's outside,
he's got the thirty thirty five and he'll be tackled
down at the thirty four yard line. Who's at number one?
Anderson Fry again makes the tackle for the little.
Speaker 5 (28:28):
Lions seventeen from the swoops on that one, and Art,
you've got to give Fry credit on that. He did
exactly what you're supposed to do. He made Swoops, made
the cut first and instead of going at him, and
he kept a good angle. He was able to get
Swoops in open field. If he doesn't get him, it's probably.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
Six Anderson Fry making a lot of big tackles for
the little Lions, and if he's the one having to
make the tackles, it's.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
Not a good sign for the little Lion.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Says he's at the TB and Swoops will run up
the field again and they spot this one at the
forty four and they're going to give them the first down.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
Swoops.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
We'll check out now and take a break, so it'll
be first in ten. Mcdebit at the forty four. Gage
roof goes out on the far side. It's like Holton
Junior in the near side debit with multiple backs in
the backfield. Sebastian waits a snap. We'll give this one
the Barnes. Barnes with a nice run, but penalty flags
(29:29):
come flying in on the far side. We'll see if
this is another hold on mcdebit is. Maurice got about
eight on that Kerry.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
Yeah, I would think that'll be a procedure. It is
probably on the wide over that far side. I think
Art jumped it.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
So they stopped the clock a minute twenty two left
to play. First quarter. Mcdebit up three nothing over State.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
College, and it's going to be a legal procedure against
deba that's better than the whole so that it'll cost
him five. It'll be first down and fifteen. Back at
the thirty nine, you start to clock again. Here Merceader's
(30:14):
heading towards Darry Street. Gage Ruth again. Gage has played
really well, and John take Quick's absence the last couple
of weeks, Sebastian and the pistol here. They'll give it
this when the Barns Barnes comes on the near side,
he's got the forty five all the way down to
the forty yard lineas Day College. Great run by Reese
there in a first down Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 5 (30:35):
Eighteen yards there by Maurice Barnes and just came off
the left side.
Speaker 4 (30:43):
Art.
Speaker 5 (30:44):
One thing that we've noticed already with State College, their
secondary is quick and fast. Yeah, you know there's been
probably three plays when you think Art that mcdebitt would
have ran away for.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
Any other team, right, Yeah, They caught swoops on that
one from behind.
Speaker 5 (30:58):
And they got Barnes there. Normally you know they're blowing
by everybody.
Speaker 2 (31:03):
Here's Barnes again, this time some more resistance, has got
about a yard and that's it on that one. It'll
be second down to nine for bish mcdebbit at the
thirty seven.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
And we're starting to see a little bit of a
high snap consistency.
Speaker 8 (31:19):
Unfortunate, not high high, but enough. Thing the timing on the.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
Play Prsader's break huddle.
Speaker 8 (31:28):
Now see if they go play action here, clock.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
Is down to seven seconds. They do not have to
snap the ball, but they do elect to do it.
Play action fakers a pass to the outside, and they
tried to hit Zach Brown, had him at about the
twenty eight, just not able to catch it. And that's
how the first quarter will end. As bish mcdebit leads
three to nothing, over State College will switch the ends
(31:55):
of the field and be back with the second quarter.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Thanks for listening to Bishop mcdebit football.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Now back to the field, all.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Right, Welcome back to rock or Attends Stadium Here at
Vision mcdivid High Court, Selby and Marty Boom and mcdebbitt
with a third and nine from the thirty seven yard
line of State College.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Say College showing a five man front.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Art they have LaRue Junior in the backfield, Sebastian Williams
back to pass buyer's one of the outside. This is
complete inside to thirty for a first down and more
to Gage Ruth and all the way down to the
twenty one yard line first down and ten bishon mcdebit.
Gage has really been playing well Marty lately, and that's
a big catch.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
That's a real big catch by Gage Ruth. And then
he gets the extra yard he's by doing a little
bit of a a swirl out there. And credit there
also to Sebastian Williams. Art he stood tall in the
face of the rush and drill it to Gage Ruth.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Holton Junior out on the far side for a bitch
and mcdebbitt looks like they have swoops back in the game.
Ish Palmer goes in motion, they pitch it to him,
tries to turn the corner. He's got the twenty and
goes down at about the eighteen yard line, so he'll
get about four on now it'll be second and six
for mcdebitt, and.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
That'll actually be considered a pass that'll be a completion
for seb Williams.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
So the spot it in nineteen Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:32):
Art, once again we're used to on that. We're used
to seeing Palmer get the outside and maybe walking into
the end zone. Say, colleague, very good.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Defensively, Palmer and Ruth out on the far side. Ith
lines up a little bit behind Palmer. Now he comes
in motion from the far side to the near and
Sebastian's kind of keeping himself takes it inside the ten,
down to the eighth. I'd love that play call, Marty,
you get so worried about all that speed for mcdeb it.
The Sebastian keeps it and gets a big play.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
He did it. He put it into h Palmer's belly
and pulled it back out, read it perfectly, had the
hole there on the uh behind the right tackle, and
took it down inside to ten for a first and goal.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Anytime coach Wector pulls that play out, it always seems
like it's good for nine or ten yards and a.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
Good decision here by Sebastian Williams.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
First down and ten for Yeah, it's actually the nine
first and goal from the nine swoops is in the
game from mcdebit to the right, Sebastian back to pass
fires one of the outside and this one is incomplete
as code was out there. And for second Marty, I
had visions of a ninety nine yard picked six.
Speaker 5 (35:44):
Yeah, he didn't get a handle on it. And then
I guess it really I got lost because the windows here,
but it appeared like, uh Holton would have had a chance,
but uh, good defense by State College.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
It did get through, but of course was tipped and
it was a tough catch for holding to make at
that point. So second, go from the nine swoops still
in there to the right. Let's see if they run
swoops here and they do tries to cut out side
and he will be tackled down in the backfield back
at the fifteen yards on. That's the first time the
night State College is slowed. Swoops down and swoops slow
(36:24):
to get up.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
Marty.
Speaker 5 (36:26):
Yeah, he got got his ankle there, and I don't
know how much that was got stretched out.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Let's take a time out here. Mcdebit up three nothing,
nine fifty four left to play. First half. You're listening

Speaker 2 (37:27):
HLLI right Welcome back to Rocker Attenzio Stadium. Here at
Bisho mcdebitt High School Art selby Marty Bowman. Crusader's up
three to nothing, nine fifty four left to play here
in the first half as I mcdebitt as a third
down and sixteen and on that last play, Nazir Jones
Davis tried to take it to the outside. He's been
down ever since. Now they are stretching his leg, which
(37:49):
would indicate a cramp, but I you know, I don't
can't really speculate for sure what's going on. A swoopy
is still on his back.
Speaker 5 (37:56):
Trainer Rachelle Blakeley, like you said, art working on it
like it is a cramp, which would be a sigh
relief that it wasn't like any kind of ankle pulled
out or anything like that on that shoe string tackle.
Speaker 2 (38:10):
The swoops has played really well for McDevitt here tonight.
The running game has been really solid for mcdevn. So
Ashton's had some nice passes down the field as well. I, Marty,
we were talking about defense as you felt this was
the best defense with debit's seen so far this year.
Speaker 5 (38:28):
Yeah, I really, I mean, I know it's only a
quarter in a few minutes, but yeah, I absolutely think
he's the uh oh he got up started walking cramped again.
Speaker 2 (38:43):
Yeah, that's a not a fun feeling. Now a couple
teammates will help him off here, so and hopefully that's
all that is is a cramp.
Speaker 5 (38:52):
So yeah, he started to talk about you two steps, Yeah,
and you could see like on the second step of
that left the left leg, did it looked like it
cramped up again, so.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
They will help him off the field here, mcdebitt. Now
if at third down in sixteen, so.
Speaker 4 (39:16):
Swoops is off on the sideline here. Now Crusaders have it.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Now Liam Fuller is gonna come out of the game
here late play clock plenty of times though for mcdebitt.
Speaker 4 (39:26):
Play clock's down at fifteen.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Three wide outs to the near side, one back in
the backfield.
Speaker 4 (39:31):
That's ma Rice Barnes.
Speaker 11 (39:32):
So that.
Speaker 4 (39:37):
Catch by Halton Junior, and they're.
Speaker 2 (39:39):
Gonna say he's out about at the one.
Speaker 5 (39:47):
What a what an outstanding throwing, an outstanding catch by
Howard Holton Jr.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
So I mean the key thing though, is it's now
fourth down and goal from the one for mcdebitt. But
what a what an unbelievable passed by Sebastian and Holden
Junior an even more unbelievable catch. And now, of course mcdebit,
we'll see if they run Maurice Barnes here. Now swoops
out of the game's big stop. All right, there come
(40:15):
the Crusaders. Maurice is in there. It's a power eye
formation and they will give this when the Maurice.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
Up the middle. Anything to the end doing for a Bishop.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Mcdebit touchdown and the Crusaders go up nine to nothing
of nine twenty seven left.
Speaker 4 (40:31):
To play here in the first half.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Waited there for a second as the official on the
near side didn't call it, but the official on the
foreside did come running in with the touchdown.
Speaker 5 (40:43):
Yeah, that was It wasn't even work because it wasn't
even like a pile up at all. It was just clean.
He just got in there, very clean.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
So Grella, well, come on to attempt the extra point
for Bishop mcdebit couldn't raft the holder for the Crusaders
since Raff gets it down and the kick is blocked
by State College is flying in. There was number four
(41:13):
that was Walker in there anyway, So we'll take a break.
Nine twenty seven left to play in the first half
ofic debit up nine nothing over State College. You're listening
to the Bish mcdebit football. You're a news radio WHP

Speaker 3 (41:58):
This is Bishop mcdbit fall on news radio WHP five
eighty and iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
All right, welcome back to Rocker attends Stadium. Here at
Bisha mcdebitt High School Crusaders score great pass from Sebastian
Williams the Holton junior and put it at the one,
and then Maurice Barn's on the one yard run put
mcdebit up nine nothing. The extra point was blocked as
that was a thirteen play drive ninety two yards for
Bisho mcdebit.
Speaker 4 (42:24):
Here's the kick by.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Grilla and this one will sail in the end zone
for the touchback. So the little Lions now will take
over from the twenty driving towards the Dairy Street end.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
Of the field. But more importantly, mcdebit up nine nothing now, Marty.
Speaker 5 (42:38):
Yeah, are one the block Corella. That's a great kicker.
At the high school level, you can't take extra points
for granted at all, and you have to work and
I'm not saying they don't, but you have to work
on those in practice. That all the blocking assignments, and
that particular time State College had two guys coming in
from the far left side, and either one of them
(42:59):
would have.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
Got So here come the Little Lions, Colca with two
white outs to the near side. They'll run this one
to the far side and Sheffie gets about two and
that's it. As mcdebit defends it well to be second
and eight for the Little Lions. Stay tuned in our
(43:23):
postgame show for the game day Mensell Player of the
game defining a new here in Menzell.
Speaker 5 (43:29):
Jameison Crumwell is cramping up. Tried to get off, he
can't make it. He sat down once the refstyle need
to get off, but he's barely able to walk. It's
kind of funny, gosh.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
So second down and eight, first take Hodges. The clock
ticks under nine minutes left to play in the first half.
The boar chance down here at corner on the near
side from mcdebit. Coca awaiting the snap and hand this
one off up the middle to Sheffy and he's going
to be just short of the first down. As he
(44:05):
gets to the twenty nine, it'll be third down and
went for State College.
Speaker 5 (44:09):
Yeah, that's been one of the best carries by Sheffy
thus far. Picked up seven and gets a short third
and one.
Speaker 2 (44:19):
Calca under center and he will push forward and took
a late surge there by Qualker to pick it up
as he gets up to the thirty one and RJ
Duffy a little banged up after that.
Speaker 4 (44:35):
One, Marty.
Speaker 5 (44:36):
Yeah. RJ Duffy holding his left shoulder and he is
in paying heart.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
RJ had a shorter issue a couple of games earlier
this season. Here's Calca's passed to the outside and a
diving catch by number six code As he had to
come back and dive and scoop that one off the
turf for a first down for State College.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Yeah, that was a fantastic catch to come back and
get that. He just created the funnel with his hands
just right above the turf and just allow the ball
to you know, go into his chest. Really great play.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
Cock of the snaps flying in the backfield.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
Cocka is still a bolbing it and he's tackled all
the way back at the seven yard line. We're gonna
spot it at the eleven. But a huge loss by
State College, and they were very fortunate mcdebit didn't get
that one.
Speaker 5 (45:29):
Timbell Milch finally tackles him down. They are very fortunate
that mcdebit didn't get that. It's uh.
Speaker 2 (45:40):
They have to get to the mcdebit forty eight yard
line and they are all the way back at the
ten yard line forty two yards second in forty one,
Calca's passed to the outside to Chefy and Cheffy does
a nice job getting back to about the twenty one
yard line.
Speaker 5 (46:01):
Very important here are defense cannot let a big play here. Yeah,
you know, you gotta get field position.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
This should be a backbreaker if they even if they
give up a big chunk. So it's third down and
twenty eight under seven minutes left to play in the
first half. Crusader's up nine to nothing and a big
opportunity to get the ball back again.
Speaker 5 (46:22):
The bar Chanson for and at a corner for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 2 (46:26):
Two white outs to the near side for State College.
Kalka back to pass steps up fires one down the
middle and debits saying they might have picked it off.
There are two players there struggling for the ball. I
think Code was.
Speaker 4 (46:42):
One of them.
Speaker 5 (46:43):
No signal yet.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
The officials haven't decided what they're gonna do. I think
they're gonna say it's a catch for State College up
to the forty seven yard line.
Speaker 5 (47:01):
Carlos Smith with a great play. And now it's fourth
down and the play that they couldn't give up they gave. Unfortunately,
they gave up.
Speaker 2 (47:09):
Art Markkowski on the punt. Now, if you're McDevitt, you
gotta watch for a fake punt here because it's only
four and five. Mish Palmer back at his fifteen yard
line and they do punt it away. It's a very
high punt and this one will bounce at the thirty
one yard line. Takes a little bit of a State
College role. It's inside the twenty five yard line. So
(47:32):
after all that, mcdeviitt takes over at the twenty five.
But the good news, Marty is the defense once again, does.
Speaker 5 (47:38):
Stike do this get the stop?
Speaker 4 (47:39):
They get the.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
Ball back up nine nothing with five forty two left
to play.
Speaker 4 (47:43):
First half.
Speaker 5 (47:45):
They a little surprise there Art at State College and
go for it on fourth and five.
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Yeah, I mean you're down nine to nothing. You need
to change the momentum a little bit. I mean you
you picked up all that yardage back, you know. I
mean you were like second down in forever you had momentum.
I probably I'm with you, Marty. I think I would
have gone for that, But we'll see how it works out.
The Swoops is healthy again. That's the good news for
Bisho mcdebitt. LaRue is the running back though I did
(48:13):
see Swoops on the sideline and he is standing down here.
Now see if they get him back into the game.
Here's a handoff to LaRue for a short game of
about one where he's Barnes is going to come in
for Bishop mcdebitt. Zach Brown checks out for the Crusaders,
as does LaRue.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
Junior Swoops. They're not working on him or anything.
Speaker 2 (48:37):
He's on the near sideline here, so that's positive news
for mcdebit. Three wide outs to the near side, one
of the far Sebastian as Liam Fuller go in motion
and they will run this from the Barns Barnes to
the outside and Reese has a first down in war
and Reese crumbles up to the forty six yard line
and a first down. Bishop mcdebit gain of about nineteen.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
Yeah, Maurice Barnes just really went wheeling out of there.
Liam Fuller went in motion and then turned up as
the lead blocker.
Speaker 4 (49:13):
So four forty five left to play.
Speaker 2 (49:15):
Really big drive here in this game is mcdebit's up
nine to nothing. Sadyers would love to make this a
two well, it is a two square game now, but
go up sixteen nothing, four and a half left to play.
Crusaders will run this one again. It's Barnes again, gets
up to midfield and again of five. He'll be second
(49:37):
down and five for Bishop mcdeviits.
Speaker 5 (49:39):
And credit there to Barnes.
Speaker 8 (49:41):
I mean he hit that hole really quick as he
usually does.
Speaker 5 (49:44):
Art and what didn't look like a big hole turned
out to be a five yard game. Now, Barnes comes
out Jack Dawson. Jack Dawson goes in for mcdeviitt.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
Liam Fuller checks out for Bishop mcdebit swoops his back
in the game. So that's great to see if you're
a mcdabit fan. We're under four minutes left to play
second and five for mcdabit from the fifty and they
give it to swoops and swoops up the middle. He's
got a first down and more cuts outside.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
He's got the.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
Thirty five and down to the thirty two yard line.
Gaina eighteen for Nazir Jones Davis.
Speaker 5 (50:18):
Swoops look really good. It looked healthy on that and
beat the initial secondary man with a nice cut and
able to get on extra eight ten.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
Yards and now.
Speaker 2 (50:32):
Officials will take a time out.
Speaker 4 (50:37):
So three forty five.
Speaker 5 (50:40):
We got a mcdibitt player down off the field on
the far side, and I do think it swoops and
once again Rachelle Blakeley, the trainer is working on him
like it's a cramp.
Speaker 2 (50:54):

and remember to listen to Financial Freedom of Tim Decker
tomorrow morning at ten right here on news radio WHP
five to eighty and Swoops making his way over here
to the near side under his own power.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
Unofficially art we have him with eleven carries for one
hundred and eleven yards, so really impressive.
Speaker 2 (51:57):
Monster first half for Swoops, and he gave mcdaby it
a first down on that last run. First and ten
at the thirty two yard line of State College. One
white out to the near side for Bishop mcdebitt. Sebastian
waits a snap, Zach Brown goes in motion and they
fake the handoff fire one.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
Of the outside.
Speaker 2 (52:16):
It's tipped and intercepted by State College.
Speaker 5 (52:23):
They were gonna throw the motion man out of the backfield,
and honestly, I think Sebastian took out a little too casual.
Speaker 2 (52:31):
Art, so that was picked off by a trace Brennan
for the Little Lions, and unfortunate for mcdebit's there Little
Lions take over the twenty six yard line. That's a
huge play here with three thirty seven left to play
in the first.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
Half, and a huge play with the defense having to
go right back on the field arc.
Speaker 2 (52:56):
So two white outs to the far side for the
Little Lions, one of the near calc awaits the snap
and now palty flags come flying in and I think
this is false starting against State College, and indeed it is.
It's just unfortunately for mcdebit, swoops is playing so well tonight,
(53:16):
and you had to delay there as they had to work.
Speaker 4 (53:19):
On swoops of the gramping issue.
Speaker 2 (53:21):
And then mcdebbit unfortunately after the game slowed down, they
turned the ball over, so first and fifteen back into
twenty one. Kolka awaits a snap going in motion is
Lukach and now Caulka under pressure and he's just gonna
fire one out to the near side out here and
(53:41):
no one out here at Offers State College and incomplete.
Speaker 5 (53:46):
And when I say that Sebastian took that to casualr.
It just didn't seem like he even took account of
the big lineman there at the end being out there
and had a chance to deflect it.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Second and fifteen, at the twenty one they have two
wide receivers bunched up out here in the near side.
Speaker 4 (54:08):
We'll bring a man in motion from the foreside. Paul
go back to pass.
Speaker 2 (54:12):
Then a fire went outside here and going up and
trying to catch that one. A penalty flight comes flying
in either way. I'm not sure who caught it. It's
another one of those fifty to fifty balls.
Speaker 5 (54:28):
Either way.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
They were going to call interference on Vic Devin Austin
Mack was out here on coverage you click. Just good
coverage by Mac to be honest about it, but I
mean he's got as much right to that ball as
the state college receiver does.
Speaker 5 (54:50):
Look checks, there's segment holding.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
So the officials still talking things over here at the
thirty eight yard line. It was second and fifteen, a
nice pass, but good coverage by mcdebon, and both players
had a right to go for the ball. So they
call pass interference on mcdebit, which will be declined because
(55:21):
they did catch the ball, and that'll be a first
down for the Little Lions.
Speaker 4 (55:27):
With three twenty four left here in.
Speaker 2 (55:28):
The first half, three white outs will come out here
to the far side for the Little Lions. Caulco waits
to Snap's got Cheffy to his right in the backfield
and now Coulco with a play action take up the middle.
Pass is knocked down by Maurice Barnes and a nice
play there defensively by Reese Art.
Speaker 5 (55:51):
Whether it's splitzeing, whether it's picking up on the run
game in this case, dropping into coverage one of the
slant Maurice Barnes is just where.
Speaker 2 (56:01):
A great play there, and that makes it second and
ten for the Little Lions. Clock stops three ten left
to play first half. Mcdevid up nine nothing. Caulka again
chuck information Chefy to his right. Three white outs to
the far side for.
Speaker 4 (56:16):
The Little Lions.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Now they'll come to the near side and Anderson fry
one of those white outs.
Speaker 4 (56:23):
Caulka back to pass.
Speaker 2 (56:24):
There comes a pressure Cauca fire is one down the
middle of the field, and this one is caught inside
of twenty five and down to the twenty that's Anderson
Fry again, who's playing a big game for them. Austin
Mack on the coverage and the tackle for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 5 (56:39):
Yeah, Anderson Fry, big Mac on that one, and the
ball was just laid out there for him. Now mcdebit's
defense has to make us stand here.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
Two white outs to the far side for State College
going in motion, bluecatch and they will run this when
the chefy chffey up the middle and mcdebit defends it
well again.
Speaker 4 (57:03):
Marty is not gain no gain there.
Speaker 5 (57:07):
Maybe one is Zach Brown and uh In on the
attack of for Bishop mcdebitt.
Speaker 2 (57:14):
Two and a half minutes left to play on it.
Taking clock here in the first half. Mcdebit up nine nothing.
Speaker 5 (57:19):
Patrick Bright also in there on that tackle for mcdebitt
Little Lions.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
Two white outs of the far side, one of the
near and Calka back to pass and he will be
tackled down. Got back to the line of scrimmage and
that's it. So mcdebitt with good defense on that one
and now a big third down for the Little Lions.
Speaker 5 (57:39):
A big third down. Mcdebitt needed to make that stand and.
Speaker 2 (57:44):
Nine clock under two minutes left to play here in
the first half. We'll see if mcdebitt and stop him here,
and we'll see if State College elects to try and
kick a field goal. Cog goes out in the far side.
They got two wide receive he was on the near side.
Cheffy in the backfield to the left of rolls to
(58:05):
the near side, fires one and this one is complete
inside the five yard line down here to Lustig and
they'll have it at the sixth first down and goal.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
State College chamis and Crummell on.
Speaker 5 (58:17):
The tackle, but not before the completion. In a game
at twelve stak Pallege in business here, plenty of time.
Speaker 2 (58:27):
Nice job there by Colca, just rolling out there and
just a great pass down to field to Lustig and
now a first and goal. Though even spotted at the four,
Cheffey to the right of Kulka, they give it the chefy.
Cheffy cuts outside and he will be tackled down at
the five. Might have lost the yard on a one.
Marty Jack Dawson was in there for mcdevin along with
(58:52):
I'm trying to see who that other number was in
there for the Crusaders, might.
Speaker 5 (58:55):
Have been r. J.
Speaker 6 (58:55):
Duffy.
Speaker 5 (58:57):
Miss Chris Thompson. Okay, Chris Thompson in there, had a
good hold on Sheffy.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Under a minute left to play, clock ticking, they give
it to Sheffy again, cuts out side, pushes forward and
he is in for the State college touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (59:12):
Five yards and if nine or forty.
Speaker 2 (59:16):
Four seconds left to play here in the first half,
mcdevid's lee trim the nine to six.
Speaker 5 (59:22):
You have a look an amazing turnaround art just they
get the interception.
Speaker 4 (59:29):
In cramped up again.
Speaker 2 (59:35):
You had a delay of a long delay and then
an interception off a tip pass. Extra point is up
and it is good. So forty four seconds left to
play here in the first half, and mcdevin's lee trim
to nine to seven. So have our halftime show coming
(59:56):
up here shortly over forty four seconds away.
Speaker 4 (59:58):
Is just a huge a turn of events there, Marti.
Speaker 8 (01:00:01):
As you mentioned in the game.
Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
That could conceivably be twenty eight tonn serve Bishop mcdebbit, Yeah,
we just we're not able to finish a couple drives
in that first quarter. Unable to finish one here and
then the bomb. It's the forty four yard pass down field.
Cott mcdebitt and stay College able to get it in
from there.
Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
Swoops cramping up here tonight has been a massive factor.
He's dominated every time he touched the ball, and then
it's cramped up at a couple unfortunate times here for
Fish and mcdebbitt. Now State College trying to on site
kick here, I think not, probably because you give them
momentum right back to mcdebbit. If you don't succeed, we'll
(01:00:47):
see Markowski on and he will kick this one deep
two men back deep for Bishop mcdebit. They take it
at the five, they bring it back to the ten,
to the twenty. That's Ish Palmer and he'll be tackled
down at the twenty two yard line thirty seconds left
to play. The State College is saying they got the ball,
(01:01:09):
and didn't they give it to them.
Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
Now they do give it to him.
Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
I saw fighting for the ball, but I think they
like I just thought the whistle bleuw.
Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
Ish Palmer down for mcdebit. After all that.
Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
So jury with the fumble recovery according to the officials
for State College.
Speaker 12 (01:01:38):
And.
Speaker 2 (01:01:42):
Certainly a rough ending to the first half here for
a vision mcdebbit, As you said, Marty, A game that
felt like mcdebit had well under control under its belt.
Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
They just didn't put a lot of scores on the board.
Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
League nine to nothing, and so I mentioned swoops cramped
up the turnover in. State College goes down the field,
answers with a touchdown, and now they have a going
to have the ball to mcdebit twenty yard line with
thirty five seconds left to play in the first half.
Speaker 5 (01:02:10):
That'll be interesting to watch on video that art. The
interesting thing is is normally you see a ref throw
the chip on the fumble, and I didn't see any
of that, and State College started to indicate that there
was a fumble and they had it, and then the
refs walked in and determined that they had it, and
(01:02:32):
I actually thought, uh the play, the play had run
itself out and was over.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Now Isah Palmer getting some help from his teammates to
get over here? Devid already of course with how John
take quick and now you don't want to see your
best return man. We're down right before the playoffs here.
So State College with it at the mcdebit twenty yard
line or call it the twenty two two, and kalka
(01:03:02):
back to pass gonna go for it all and a
diving catch for a State College touchdown over in the
fourth corner and a J. Fry, who's been playing a
huge game for the Little Lions has put them up
thirteen to nine with twenty six seconds left to play.
Here in the first half.
Speaker 5 (01:03:22):
Could not have been a better pass, could not have
been a better catch. That was just a fantastic throw,
and a great diving fingertip catch.
Speaker 2 (01:03:35):
And Markowski on to attempt the extra point in the
first half. It just won't seem to end, Markowski if
a line drive extra point is up and Good State
College has the lead fourteen to nine, twenty six seconds
left to play. Free streaming of tonight's game and the

Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
Stay tuned tonight in our post game show for our
Game Day Men's Health player of the Game Game Day
Men's Health, defining a new era in men's health. So mcdebit,
I think at this point you just want to get
this game, this first half over with, get into the
locker room, and regroup with just twenty six seconds left
on the clock. The good news is somehow bish Palmer's
(01:04:26):
back in the game for Bishop mcdbbit.
Speaker 5 (01:04:28):
After all that Gayla ruined Palmer deep back at the
UH at the eight maybe backing up now of the
five yard.
Speaker 4 (01:04:36):
Line to State College.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Shane Markowski on to kick off towards the Dairy Street
end of the field and they do it on side
kick and Bisho mcdebitt is able to recover it at
the forty two yard line and Ethan Miller was able
to come down with that for mcdebit.
Speaker 5 (01:04:57):
Marty, And now this is interesting five seconds.
Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
Yeah, especially if Grella back.
Speaker 5 (01:05:02):
Yeah, are you taking a shot or as you said,
you know, you just want to get off the field
before half without any more damage.
Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
I think they did mcdebit a huge favor. There's twenty
five seconds left. I mean, I think you can get
two passes down the field and you do have it
looks like three times four time outs.
Speaker 5 (01:05:25):
I like your idea, and I like maybe throwing across
the middle here. Uh, maybe run a guy deep down
the middle and then a crossing pattern across the middle
and see if you can't get down like you said,
with the three timeouts, you can do a lot here
in twenty five seconds.
Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
Three white outs to the near side and they will
run this one the La roue and the roue gets it.
Speaker 4 (01:05:52):
And no time out coming from Bishou mcdebitt.
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
So that's how the first half is going to end, Marty,
a little surprising situation there and maybe coach Wector with
the mindset of what we were talking about just to
get this thing that halftime maybe is hopin LaRue can
break one for some DC yards there. But that's how
the first half ends. Rough first rough ending to the
(01:06:22):
first half for mcdeviit is a game they felt like
they were well ahead. They actually trail fourteen to nine
at a half. However, haftime show coming up next. You're
listening the Vision mcdebit football.

Speaker 2 (01:10:47):
And Marty Foeman, and a stunning turn of events for
Bishoon mcdebit here at the end of the first half.
Try and recap this.
Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
Rom for you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
Mcdebit would get their first possession after State College. I
had to fund little Lions to get it for but
had to punt. Mcdebit would drive down to the ten
yard line and then bumble the ball on the exchange
there between Sebastian Williams and LaRue Junior. So Stay College
would the NYE mcdebit. There they would punt it. Mcdebitt
would get the ball back again at the forty great
field position, go down the field, and now this time
(01:11:17):
it would end with an Aden grell a thirty yard
field goal. Crusaders were up three to nothing. I'm sure
they felt like they should be up by a lot more.
At that point, Crusaders would get the ball again. This
time Maurice Barnes with a one yard touchdown run made
it nine to nothing. The extra point was blocked, and
even still further with mcdebit ut none nothing, State College
would have a terrible snap. All would go all the
(01:11:39):
way back to around their ten yard line, and they
had like a second in forever and they were able
to actually get it back to fourth down and five
a couple of nice pass plays, but mcdebitt, with a
golden opportunity there then possibly jump on that ball and
really grew up big, but they weren't. State College would
punt the ball and then mcdebitt basically at that point
(01:12:01):
would turn the ball over. They would have a nine
to nothing lead, and the big play Swoops would run
the ball down to the thirty two yards. When play resumed,
Sebastian Williams pass was deflected and intercepted by State College,
and then they were able to go down the field
and score in a one yeard run by Dante Sheffey
(01:12:23):
to make it nine to seven. That was stunning enough,
but then mcdebbitt would fumble the kickoff and State College
would recover it, and then Calco would hit a fry
for a touchdown to make it fourteen to nine.
Speaker 4 (01:12:36):
State College.
Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
The Little Lions would try and surprise mcdebitt with an
on side kick. Mcdebitt was able to get that around
the forty two yard line and he still had three
timeouts and.
Speaker 4 (01:12:49):
Balls around midfield.
Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Of course, a Grella back, you thought maybe mcdebbit would
try and get field goal range for a long kick
by Grella, but they'd like to run the ball, don't
get much and just let the first flock tick off.
So the Crusaders go into the locker room down fourteen
to nine. Now we always talk about that first possession
of the third quarter. Mcdebbit is going to get the
ball to start the second half, and that is obviously
(01:13:11):
a huge situation here now for the Crusaders to try
and regroup and I'll possibly get the lead back.
Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
To start the third quarter.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
All right, well, we'll take a break, We'll take a

Jac and a WHPE Studios taking a look at a
full night of action in mid state football. We're gonna
start at York Suburban leading Northeastern Netscore is thirty nine
to nothing. Longe Catholic leads York Catholic ten to six,
Mannheim Township over Wilson ten to seven. At the half a,
(01:15:33):
Central York is all over York thirty five to six.
Dover and West York are doing battle. Dover is trailing
that one thirty five to nothing. Warwick and Mannheim Central
Warwick having their way twenty eight to seven. Juniata leads
Upper Dolphins seven to nothing. Middletown and Trinity, they are
in a battle. They're nototted up at fourteen to fourteen.
(01:15:56):
In the third quarter. Lion Mountain and Susquineida right now
Lime Mountain forty eight suspen need to nothing. No score
with Southwestern and spring Grove, Mifflin County Leeds Redland. That
score is twenty one to seven. No score of McCaskey,
penn Manor whereas Ottra leads Donegal fourteen to seven. Northern
(01:16:17):
York and Paul Myray are doing battle right now. Northern
York leading that one twelve to nothing. Still don't have
a score yet on Steel High Newport, while Eastern York
is trailing New Oxford. That one is fifteen to seven.
New Oxford, Connestoga Valley and Muhlenberg started out close at first,
but right now at the half it's Connestoga Valley twenty eight,
(01:16:38):
Muhlenberg nothing. Shippingsburg and Mechanicsburg right now the Wildcats. They're
leading that one seventeen to nothing. Bermudian Springs and Littlestown.
I'm sorry, Art, I don't have a score for you
at this moment. We will keep an eye on that one.
Schuwkll Valley and Lancaster Catholic are noted up at ten.
No store yet on wild missing Lampeter, Straussburg. Other games.
(01:17:01):
We're looking at Waynesboro and Hershey. Don't have a score there,
but West Perry and Greencastle. Antreym are knoted up at seven.
Governor Mifflin is trailing Efrida Efforta leading that one twenty
one to ten. Gettysburg and Lower Dolphin. Right now, the
Falcons of Lower Dolphin are leading that one twenty one
to six. In the third quarter, Garden Spot is trailing,
(01:17:22):
actually leading Solanco. That score is seven to nothing. Exeter
fourteen Etown nothing. Other scores. Dallastown leaves Red Lion. That's
a big battle down in York County, fifteen to twelve.
Dallastown's on top. Cedar Cliff and Cumberland Valley. That's a
good one right now. Cumberland Valley leading that one six
(01:17:43):
to three. Columbia is leading Hamburg twelve to nothing. Other
scores called Calico is leading Fleetwood that scores twenty eight
to seven CD and Chambersburg the Rams. The Rams are
rolling fourteen to nothing. No stior yet. On East Pennsboro,
Big Springs, Anvil and Burks Catholic are nodded up at seven.
(01:18:05):
Carlisle is trailing al Toner. That score is ten to
seven in the third quarter. And finally Cedarcrest and Lebanon.
That score is forty one to seven. Cedarcrest is on top.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
State College scored two touchdowns late to take the lead
fourteen to nine. And as we mentioned, it is senior night.
You can take a second and run down the name
of senior.
Speaker 5 (01:20:32):
Right down these twenty eight seniors. We certainly can't killing Smith,
Zach Brown, Zira Jones, Davis, Brandon Darling, Maurice Barnes, Ish Palmer,
Carlos Smith, Shaheed, Clement Campbell, Milch, Tyler Reinhardt, Aiden Grilla Gage,
(01:20:53):
Ruth Patrick Wright, Jamison Crummell, R. J. Duffy, David Maloton, Estic,
will Yost, Jack Dawson, Fernando, Arius Mondragon, Gabe Bropson, Chris Thompson,
Jude Slover, David Smith, Jakai Logan, Aiden Milch, mctishams are
(01:21:18):
Aiden mctisham filling this without my reading glasses are Joshua
Thomas dangerous, Yeah, Spencer Musty and Liam Fuller And uh,
it's kind of strange, arn't. We talked about it, I
think a week or so ago when they count up
to seniors because we're used to mcdebitt, no matter what.
It seems like they only graduate twelfth senior, but this
(01:21:39):
is a big year for seniors. A lot of uh,
you know, D one players there for mcdebitt, you know,
going on to play at some D one schools, and
I know those twenty eight seniors want nothing more to
come out here and grab the momentum back on the
first drive of the second half.
Speaker 2 (01:21:59):
A couple of notes here for you the Hershey Bears,
which are on Fox Sports fourteen sixty tonight. That's why
we're over here on news radio WHP five to eighty
Hershey Bears trailing Lehigh Valley three two in the second
period there tonight. Bears off to a little bit of
a rough start to start the year. They were able
to get a win last Saturday night and then a
(01:22:19):
tough four nothing loss on Sunday at Giant Center. So
the Bear's hitting the road for the first time tonight
and they will return home tomorrow night at Giant Center

Speaker 5 (01:23:24):
We did our best to try to find out, you know,
how it plays out. I think there is a possibility
the evenf mcdebit loses, they could actually only drop the
fourth which would give them that buy next week. But
I can't say for certain.
Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
Marty will give a complete breakdown of that in the postgame,
Sea'll do the math and everything.
Speaker 5 (01:23:45):

think Silanko is losing and that would that's a big
big game for mcdebit fans from to be watching.
Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
You know, Connstuga Valley was up twenty eight and third
number two right now in their game. So all right,

Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
All right, welcome back to Rocker Attendi Stadium, Here, Vision
Stividiz School or telby Marty Bowman. Rob Glize is here
to our right doing PA tonight. We'reb doing a fantastic
job as always here on Senior Night announcing all the
seniors before the game tonight here at rock Pertendzio Stadium,
and probably some interesting discussions in the mcdeviit locker room
(01:26:16):
here at the half at senior night. An important game
here for mcdevid. Crusaders really had control of this ball
game and then just kind of let it slip away
there in the last couple of minutes. But great opportunity
to get the ball, try and re establish the run game.
Go down the field here, get the lead and then
start playing some defense again. And that's the formula mcdevid's
(01:26:37):
going to hope for to start the third quarter.
Speaker 5 (01:26:39):
Marty, Yeah, just real quick as here Jones I have
eleven for one hundred and eleven. Just fantastic Gazar it
is said here and all for sample has been a
tremendous first for swoops. Maurice Barnes three carries for twenty
six yards, seven eleven yards and a quarterback keeper. It
(01:27:03):
was a very good read by seven on that one
and he picked up eleven What is what car so?
Harold Holt Junior has two catches for twenty six Jones
Davis fifteen yards with one reception, Gage Ruth sixteen yards
on one reception, it was.
Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
All right, they're about a minute away here, so is
up with teams completing their warm up drills here as
we're about ready to start the third quarters. We mentioned
mcdebit tonight with the gold jerseys, gold pants, dark blue
numbers and gold helmets. State College a little lions with
the white jerseys with the maroon numbers, the white pants
(01:27:46):
with us, the maroon trim and the maroon helmets. As
we mentioned State College eight and one here tonight, they've
won six in a row. They're only blemish the double
overtime lost to Harrisburg in a game they trilled by
twenty one points Orange back and would ultimately lose in
heartbreaking fashion to the Cougars. Versus mcdebitt themselves started off
(01:28:07):
the year zero to two and they have won seven
straight as well, so both teams playing good football.
Speaker 4 (01:28:13):
Heading into the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (01:28:16):
Crusaders looks like they did dodge a couple of injuries
in the first half. A Swoops and Ish Palmer were
both banged up and down on the turf for quite
a while, but both seem to be all right, so
hopefully that's the case. And of course we mentioned already
in the night, Dugede, Slover and John take quick out
(01:28:37):
for Bishop mcdebitt. Aton Grella making his first appearance back
on the field here in a couple of weeks for Bishoon, mcdebit.
Speaker 5 (01:28:45):
Mis Sevastian Williams. We have five for nine for sixty yards.
So mcdebitt taking the field to receive the second half
kickoff and LaRue and Ish Palmer back deep but around
a five yard line for the crew.
Speaker 4 (01:29:01):
Is Marque Well.
Speaker 2 (01:29:03):
Yeah, Markowski will kick off towards the Dairy Street end
of the field here for the little Lions. They line
up for this kickoff. You're just about ready for third
quarter action here at rock Portenzio Stadium here on Senior Night.
Here's Markowski's kick and again another short kick. This one
(01:29:25):
will be caught at the twenty six yard line for
Bishop mcdebbitt and they will run.
Speaker 4 (01:29:29):
This one up the field.
Speaker 10 (01:29:30):
Here.
Speaker 2 (01:29:30):
That's number twenty one Patrick right down the sideline thirty
twenty fifteen ten touts down Bishop mcdebbitt.
Speaker 4 (01:29:39):
Just like that.
Speaker 2 (01:29:40):
The Crusaders go up in this game, fifteen to fourteen.
It's eleven forty six left to play in the third quarter.
Speaker 5 (01:29:47):
Had one man to beat Art. There at one blocker.
A killing smith does the job, gets a hand on
that return man specialist and freeze it up at the
last twenty yards for the mcdavit touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:30:09):
So the Crusader's up marty fifteen to fourteen now with
eleven forty six left to play here in the third quarter.
Speaker 4 (01:30:16):
It's just like that.
Speaker 2 (01:30:18):
We talked about him getting the ball, and I thought
they'd have to put a harder and drive together. Instead
they run return the kickoff for a touchdown. So Grella
on to attempt the extra point counter raft the holder
and here's the kick. This one is up and this
(01:30:38):
time it's good. The Crusaders go up sixteen to fourteen.
After the seventy five yard we'll say seventy five yard
kickoff return. Crsader's up sixteen fourteen. We should mc debit

Speaker 5 (01:31:09):
What stands out about that return Art is Patrick Wright
did not take that like an up man. He took it,
and he was a jet from the very beginning, came
angled crossfield towards us up here in the press box.
The hole was there, and it really was just getting
around that first corner. Nobody with a shot. There was
one guy, as I said, on the kickoff team and
(01:31:33):
Akil and Smith able to get a hand on him,
knock him down and Right takes it in for the touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
We've seen Right do some great things for vision mcdebit
this year. Great interception almost looked like Peon tenders a
couple of weeks ago over at Landos Field.
Speaker 5 (01:31:51):
You really got a chance to see his speed on
that art.
Speaker 2 (01:31:53):
Yeah, oh yeah, so mcdebit changes the momentum just like that.
They're up sixteen to fourteen eleven forty six left a plane.
The Grella will now kick off towards the Union deposit
end of the field. Two men back deep were the
little lions. Here's Grella's kick. This one is high and
deep and this will go into the end zone for
a touchback. And that is such a weapon Marty to
(01:32:15):
have him back.
Speaker 5 (01:32:17):
It really is. You really want to see that. That's
that's fantastic. That's his third one in the end zone
out of four tonight.
Speaker 2 (01:32:27):
So now we'll see, uh, if this mcdebit defense can
maybe get a turnover or get this fall back quickly
and really change this momentum of this game. As the
crusader's now at sixteen to fourteen. You know, you could
not have asked for something better than that to start
the second half for mcdebit after they were whole difficult
ending of the first half.
Speaker 5 (01:32:48):
And I will look for, say College to really just
try to go deep with something here right away, try
to grab this momentum back and maybe you know, put
a little bit of a dagger in mcdebitt.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Paulka's got three wide outs to the near Cheffie in
the backfield. They'll run Cheffy up the middle and he's
able to pick up about four as mcdebit folly stacks
him up. He'll be second down and we'll give him
the twenty five arts.
Speaker 5 (01:33:15):
It'll be second and five. Did not hear much of
Steffie in the first half, so we'll see if they
want to establish him here in the second half.
Speaker 2 (01:33:26):
Getting three white outs to the near side, Kolka is
gonna run it and mcdebit gets in there and knocks
him backwards. No gain on that one. It'll be third
and five. R j duffy in there as well as
Shahik cment the third and five and a big opportunity
for mcdevin's defense to get this ball back.
Speaker 5 (01:33:48):
Big play by r j duffy.
Speaker 2 (01:33:53):
Two white outs to the far side for the Little Lions.
Fry comes down here in the near side.
Speaker 4 (01:34:00):
Jeffy in the backfield.
Speaker 2 (01:34:01):
Calco if a third down and five from the twenty
five looks towards the Dairy Street end of the field.
Fry goes in motion. Here comes the pressure pass over
the middle is incomplete, and he tried to hit Bustig
uping around the thirty seven yard line and Devit was
getting some pressure there. He had to get rid of
it and incomplete.
Speaker 5 (01:34:21):
Maurice Barn's and cuverage there for mcdebitt, just a little
upset that he was just a hair away from getting
that ball for a pick.
Speaker 2 (01:34:32):
So Ish Palmer is back deep for mcdebitt. Markowski on here.
It's fourth and five for the Little Lions and Markowski
does punt it. It's a high punt, but Jordan takes
a good role for State College and they will down
this at the thirty three the thirty two yard line,
so Fisher and mcdebitt will take over though with the
(01:34:53):
lead back sixteen fourteen.
Speaker 5 (01:34:55):
Art very fortunate on that punt as one of the
mcdebit blockers going down. When that ball came down, it
did not miss him by very much.
Speaker 2 (01:35:05):
So mcdebitt a minute forty one into the second half
now has the lead and the balls they will drive
towards the Union Deposit end of the field here at
Rocker Attendo Stadium here on Senior Night twenty eight mcdebit
Football Seniors twelve cheerleader seniors. It's a power eye formation
for Bishop mcdebitt and they never run this. When the
(01:35:27):
Swoops swoops up the middle, Swoops pushing that pal forward
and close to a first down. We'll see if they
give it to them.
Speaker 5 (01:35:34):
They are spoted for a first down, so we'll pick up.
Speaker 2 (01:35:38):
Ten and Swoops has been just solid tonight. Now they're
going to substitute the Rue junior into the game. Actually,
Jack Dawson will check out, so we're gonna keep Swoops
and the Roue in together.
Speaker 4 (01:35:53):
It looks like.
Speaker 2 (01:35:57):
So first and ten from the forty two.
Speaker 5 (01:36:01):
I'd maybe look for one of those Jets sweep tap
passes here at Art.
Speaker 2 (01:36:05):
I think you're right Gage Ruth is out here. Well,
he'll go out on the far side now.
Speaker 4 (01:36:09):
With Houlton Jr.
Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
And Liam Fuller all by himself as a white out
down here on the near side. Both backs in the backfield.
Sebastian back to pass dumps one of the outside and
this one was caught by Holton Junior over at the
forty seven, maybe the forty eight yard line. Game up
about six.
Speaker 4 (01:36:29):
Interesting play there for mcdebbit.
Speaker 2 (01:36:30):
You got both backs in the backfield and they go
with the pass of the outside. Now LaRue will check
out for Bush mcdebbit. Jack Dawson in there again for
the Crusaders on second and four.
Speaker 5 (01:36:43):
Good strong thrill by Sebastian Williams with that Art really
had to put a lot on that ball, throw it
across across half the field with the of the field
and got a lot on it.
Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
Second and four from the forty eight. Here's another run
for mcdebbit and Jones Davis. He's got the first down.
A lot of pushing and shoving afterwards, and even some
guys on the ground. But Jones Davis with another determined
run and he's got the first down.
Speaker 5 (01:37:11):
Fifteen yards here in his first two carriages here in
the second half puts him over onred over one hundred
and twenty five yards want thirteen carries.
Speaker 2 (01:37:19):
State College has really not shown any ability for the
anything to slowed them down tonight in the cramping mcdebit
at the forty seven, they have Zach Brown in the
game for vision mcdebit. They have two blockers, one to
the right and run to the left in front of
Sebastian and they're kind of run this one again to Swoops,
(01:37:40):
and Swoops gets over the forty balls on the ground
and it's take College. He's got to come out of
there with it again. Another unfortunate bouncer.
Speaker 4 (01:37:55):
He recovers the fumble.
Speaker 2 (01:37:56):
Again thirty six yard of line once again.
Speaker 5 (01:38:04):
Now the defense gonna be called one ear to, you know,
to stand tall against the State College offense. Four turnovers,
that's far tonight art two picks and two fumbles. Three fumbles,
so that's five turnovers.
Speaker 2 (01:38:24):
State College takes over now again, down sixteen fourteen eight
twenty one left to play in that they're just when
you think mcdebitt's taking over, you just don't see that
very often. Twoop's putting the ball on the ground. We'll
give this one the chef E and mcdebitt does well
to get in there and stop them.
Speaker 4 (01:38:41):
After a to your game. Just if it couldn't go wrong,
it has so far tonight for mcdebitt.
Speaker 5 (01:38:49):
Jack Dawson in there for Bishop mcdebitt. A lot of
orange helmets there see the killing Smith.
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
The second and eight for the little lions Fry out
here in the near side. They got two white outs
in the far side out there. Now Fry goes in
motion from the near side to the far and rolling
to the outside. They're going to fire one down the field.
It's tipped and still complete into mcdebit territory up to
the forty eight yard line, and as Calko.
Speaker 4 (01:39:28):
Was able to complete the.
Speaker 18 (01:39:29):
Pass, killing Smith on the tackle there and Caulkin, Troy's
done a great job or extending plays with his legs.
Speaker 5 (01:39:40):
He really had.
Speaker 10 (01:39:42):
Well.
Speaker 2 (01:39:42):
I was at the forty nine yard line and a
first down and ten for State College seven nineteen left
the play in the third mcdebit's lead at sixteen fourteen.
Two white outs to the near side for the little Lions,
and I'll give this from the chefy up the middle
and he's able to wig was way forward for about
two and that's it. It'll be second down and eight
(01:40:03):
for State College.
Speaker 5 (01:40:07):
Jeffy Priso.
Speaker 2 (01:40:09):
Six fifty six left of playing the third. Mcdebit's lead
us too at sixteen fourteen. For a how to momentum
swings in this game. It's been a crazy game.
Speaker 5 (01:40:17):
David maltessinik with the tackle that with the Crusaders big
second and eighty or first State College.
Speaker 2 (01:40:24):
And Sheffie again to the right side, and mcdebitt says,
no R. J. Duffy among others in there to swing
them back. I don't think you got anything on that one.
Speaker 8 (01:40:36):
Once again, Patrick Bright also went there.
Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
Look, I Kalen Smith was over there. He's been very
active tonight with this Crusader defense. And here we start
talking about big third down plays, hard.
Speaker 4 (01:40:50):
Third and eight or third and seven. They'll get me
the yard.
Speaker 2 (01:40:53):
Actually, so it's at the forty six yard line of
mcdebit six ten left to play in the third, LUSTI
gets out here on a side. It's one of the whiteouts.
Two white outs and the near side for State College.
We'll bring a man in motion callcome back to pass.
It's pat it down in the air and incomplete. And
mcdebit got in there and knock that one down, Marty.
Speaker 5 (01:41:16):
Yeah, that was Zach Brown and got in and just
it was a screen. I mean they let four mcdebon
rushers come, but Zach Brown able to read it, able
to get his hands up and knock that down.
Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
So stay College on his fourth down and seven electing
it's too far to go forward, and Markowski will come
on the punt standing back at its forty two lest
they appear to punt here, and he does punt it.
It's a line drive kick and Ish Palmer will fill
that one. It's a ten ish running backwards. Now it
(01:41:49):
comes along the sideline here, it's still going and goes
down at the sixteen yard line.
Speaker 4 (01:41:55):
After all that, so still it.
Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
With the lead sixteen fourteen, five thirty seven left to
play in the third quarter. Now the Crusaders with a
long field to drive towards the Union deposit end of
the field.
Speaker 5 (01:42:11):
Breath up here on that uh return.
Speaker 2 (01:42:14):
The way you think he's gone anything for the way
things have gone, and I'm scared he was going to
drop that one on the earth and stay. College would
recover early in business. The Crusader's got to regroup again
offensively again able to move the ball, but just turning
the ball over it the worst possible time. Jack Dawson
(01:42:35):
in their power eye formation with swoops in the backfield,
one wide out to each side of the field. Crusaders
will run this one with swoops, then swoops, trying to
push the power forward. They'll give him about a yard.
It looks like it'll be second and nine.
Speaker 4 (01:42:54):
Carriage stop on floor.
Speaker 2 (01:42:56):
Tony had more than that, Say just your gain second
to nine for Bishop mcdebbit. Sebastian comes over partially to
the sideline to get to play.
Speaker 4 (01:43:07):
From coach wect Or.
Speaker 2 (01:43:08):
Jack Dawson will check out for Bishop mcdebbit. Iam Fuller
in there as a blocker for Bishop mcdebitt now now
will end up on the far side of the line.
Two white outs to the near side. Sebastian has time
fires one of the outside the gauge. Ruth Gauge tries
(01:43:29):
to put a move on the defender and gets to
the twenty five and he'll say s the first down
by about a yard where they market so third and
one for Bishop mcdebbit.
Speaker 5 (01:43:46):
That was a very brave throw there by Sebastian. He
got a lot on that. That was again and once
again across the field. Just say quick turn and come
back by Gage.
Speaker 2 (01:43:58):
Ruth Dish Palmer checks out age to the near side
Holton Junior of the forest side. You'd have to think
this is going to be a run of swoops, and
it is. He hits the whole quickly as a first down.
In more swoops cuts outside. He's got the thirty five
and a first down Bish mcdebit, Geena ten on that one.
Speaker 5 (01:44:16):
He had ten ten big yards for swoops, only had
one guy to beat and he was able to get
him around the ankles and pull him down or swoop
was going.
Speaker 2 (01:44:29):
Swoops hit that hole like a runaway train and State
College did a great job of just containing him with
the ten yards.
Speaker 5 (01:44:37):
Well, you talk about a film that you want to
send to college is art. This is the one right
here for swoops.
Speaker 8 (01:44:43):
I mean this has been highlight after highlight.
Speaker 5 (01:44:47):
Maurice Barns will be the running back.
Speaker 2 (01:44:50):
Here three and a half left to play in the third.
Mcdebit's going to take a time out. We'll take one
as well. Mcdebit up sixteen fourteen over State College. You
listen in the Vish mcdebit football here in news radio
WHP five eighty and iHeart Radio.

High school football at its best. This is Bishop BGDBIT
football on news radio WHP five eighty and iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (01:45:56):
All Right, welcome back to Rocker attends stadium here at
BISH mcdebit Hig School, Selby and murdy bowman mcdebit up
sixteen fourteen and a first down attendant a thirty five.
Speaker 5 (01:46:05):
Yards took that time out on it seemed like, I mean,
the clock was running down, so they had to take it.
Don't understand what happened there, but they didn't get to
play called quick quick enough. You'd like to see that
time out be up there for later.
Speaker 2 (01:46:17):
Iam Fuller goes in motion from the near side to
the far from mcdebit Sebastian Williams back to past has
time fires went down the field and it's caught inside
and actually it came out looked like it was going
to be caught inside the twenty five yard line, and.
Speaker 5 (01:46:34):
They put Tyler Reinhart in here, which we expected to
see it a little bits. It just didn't get it
out far enough. Tyler had to just kind of hesitate
a little bit and allowed the defender to get in
there and get some contact because it was uh yeah,
he had a beat.
Speaker 3 (01:46:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:46:54):
Even still that's the ball that yeah caught.
Speaker 5 (01:46:58):
You get two hands on it like that. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:47:01):
So to be second and ten from the thirty five
to the bashing back to pass again, dumps went outside
to Maurice Barnes.
Speaker 4 (01:47:07):
He's got the thirty five puts up Pail got the.
Speaker 2 (01:47:10):
First down and more down to the forty three yard
line and a first down in ten.
Speaker 4 (01:47:14):
Bishop mcdebbitt to.
Speaker 5 (01:47:16):
Nineteen twenty one yards for Maurice Barnes on that pass.
Speaker 2 (01:47:20):
Play took a while to develop there is didn't look
like there's going to be much there and Maurice finally
turned it up field in traffic and was able to
explode to get down to the forty four.
Speaker 4 (01:47:35):
So first and ten.
Speaker 2 (01:47:36):
Mcdebit at the forty four yard Lina State College, Gage
Ruth and Ish Palmer to the far side, Horton Junior
to the near side, Jack Dawson to the right.
Speaker 4 (01:47:45):
So give this one the swoops.
Speaker 2 (01:47:47):
He's got the forty swoops up over the thirty five swoops,
spun down down to the thirty that picks up about
fourteen and another first down.
Speaker 5 (01:47:55):
Bishop mcdebit down, and there's a penalty there in that area,
well not necessarily in the area holding we will see.
Speaker 2 (01:48:08):
Sebastian comes over here in the near side.
Speaker 4 (01:48:12):
Officials are talking things over here.
Speaker 5 (01:48:16):
Maybe a face man that's going to State College, and
it is yes.
Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
So when you're thankful the penalty. He's finally not against
mcdebit this time. And then it goes down the field
five yards further as it's a twenty five yard line
of State College. Two forty four left to play here
in the third Staders have two white outs to the
near side, Swoops in the backfield. Jack Dawson back there
(01:48:47):
as well to give it the Swoops. Swoops up the middle.
Swoops has got the twenty and he burrows his way
down to about the sixteen yard line.
Speaker 5 (01:48:55):
Kate of nine for one again. He's just having a
tremendous night. Zach Brown comes in for Ish Palmer.
Speaker 2 (01:49:08):
Second and one from the sixteen clock down, the two
minutes left to play in the third Gay Ruth out
on the near side. It's like Quolten Junior in the
far side.
Speaker 5 (01:49:19):
I don't think mcdebitch can afford to come up with
anything less than a touchdown here.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
I agree, go Hen this one off to Swoops. He's
got the first down, gets down to the ten yard line,
maybe the eleven, so it'll be first down mcdebit, so
they can get a first down here this minute, forty
seven left to play in the third mcdebit with the
lead sixteen to fourteen. They tried fourteen nine at the half.
Speaker 5 (01:49:46):
All right, I will put it this way. You can't
keep going to the well and putting the bucket down
in and coming up empty. You've got to have a
full bucket here. You gotta get a touchdown.
Speaker 2 (01:49:56):
Sebastian waits to snap another hand off to swoop, swoops
up the middle and swoops inside to five, gets close
to the goal line, cut all the way down inside
the one. The boy didn't look like there was that
much there, but swoops creates it.
Speaker 5 (01:50:13):
You see how many did He just looks like he
got it up for the first down, but it was.
Speaker 2 (01:50:20):
So the balls at the two is where they'll spot it.
Minute left to play in the third. Now, no reason
to go anywhere else from this is working for mcdebit.
Swoops in the backfield still, They give it to him
up the middle and he is for the Bishop mcdebba
(01:50:41):
touchdown and the forty eight seconds left to play in
the third Crusaders brought up twenty two to fourteen. University
College huge.
Speaker 5 (01:50:51):
Once again, swoops just powers it in there for Bishop mcdebbit.
A great job by the left side of the offensive line.
Speaker 2 (01:51:02):
And real interesting decision here, Marty. You make the extra point,
you're up nine. If you don't get this, you're still
only up by eight.
Speaker 5 (01:51:15):
Uh yeah, And you know we talked to Coachwactor the
other week. He will not chase points. They're gonna end
up having to take a time out here again.
Speaker 10 (01:51:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:51:25):
Play clock is down.
Speaker 5 (01:51:28):
Unless they have to reset it. I don't know. Yeah,
they have to reset it back to twenty five. So
we're good.
Speaker 2 (01:51:35):
There, unless they think swoops can power this one in
I forty eight seconds left to play in the third
mcdebit of twenty two to fourteen.
Speaker 4 (01:51:46):
They go for it, se bashing them back the past.
Speaker 2 (01:51:48):
Fire is won and it is incomplete, so we need.
Speaker 5 (01:51:57):
Mary. He wanted to go to his tall target in
the back of the end zone, and that's Gage Ruth,
but a little too tall for gauge.
Speaker 2 (01:52:07):
This is still a one score game, twenty two to
fourteen with forty eight seconds left to play in the third.
Speaker 4 (01:52:15):
We'll keep things here.
Speaker 2 (01:52:16):
Bishop mcdebbitt Football is brought to you by Tim Decker,
a Green Spring Advisor's attentive advocacy. Their clients come first.
Always check out their website at GreenSpring Advisors dot com
and remember to listen up on Financial Freedom of Tim
Decker tomorrow morning at ten right here on news radio
WHP five eighty.
Speaker 5 (01:52:33):
I'm thinking, if you're doing the math, is they get
to two points, it's a ten point lead, that way,
a touchdown and a field goal camp agn.
Speaker 2 (01:52:44):
So it's twenty two to fourteen leads. Now with forty
eight seconds left in the third quarter, Dreller will kick
off here now towards the Union deposit end of the
field with the two men back feet from the little lions,
and here's the kick. This one will go sail on
(01:53:06):
into the back of the end zone for the touchback.
Speaker 4 (01:53:09):
And now penalty flag comes flying in.
Speaker 2 (01:53:15):
And I hope there's not too much chatter by mcdebit
on this one.
Speaker 4 (01:53:21):
We'll see what they call.
Speaker 5 (01:53:26):
Well. I've actually talked about this this week that you
you cannot get any kind of unsportsmanlike in a in
any game, but a game like this, when every yard,
every point matters, you cannot get an unsportsman like.
Speaker 2 (01:53:44):
We'll see it's a dead ball personal foul against mcdebit.
So forty eight seconds left and the third mcdebit leads
two fourteen, so that'll bring it out to the thirty
(01:54:05):
five yard line. Thirty State College dodgers a bit of
a bullet there. It's still a one score game. And
now they start over from the thirty five yard line
and we'll drive towards the Dairy Street end of the field.
Here forty eight seconds left to play in the third,
and let's.
Speaker 5 (01:54:24):
Hope those fifteen yards don't matter on this drive.
Speaker 4 (01:54:27):
Ar two white outs to the far side.
Speaker 2 (01:54:30):
Here's a pass down the field and this one is incomplete,
and I was looking for a flag but I didn't
think there should be one there.
Speaker 4 (01:54:38):
It just looked like we'd coverage by mc devin're going
to get.
Speaker 2 (01:54:47):
Aired one out over on the far side, and the
dB was right there and the receiver had to kind
of jump up and catch it with one arm. But
I don't really feel like there was any contact there
that require a pass interference WAG.
Speaker 5 (01:55:01):
I think State College will mean they definitely feel like
they could.
Speaker 8 (01:55:05):
Throw and throw deep against this mcdebit secondary.
Speaker 2 (01:55:07):
Well, Coca fake's the pitch and takes it up the
middle and runs into a brick wall of mcdebit defenders.
And that'll make it third down and about nine.
Speaker 8 (01:55:17):
Yeah, really a long well, I say set the stick again.
Speaker 5 (01:55:23):
It's a gain of one good reaction here by the
mcdevit defense. Coca fake to pitch and wanted to take
it himself, but mcdebitt was right there.
Speaker 2 (01:55:34):
So they do not have to snap the ball again.
Here's third and nine from the thirty six down, the
five seconds left to play. Play clocks at twelve. Coca
surveys at mcdebit defense and he will not snap it.
So that's how the third quarter ends. Here at rock
Pertendio Stadium, it's Bish mcdebit twenty two and State College fourteen.
Switch ends to the field and play the fourth quarter
(01:55:56):
four he After this, you're listening to Bisher mcdebit Football

Speaker 2 (01:56:48):
All right, welcome back to rock Ortenzie Stadium here at
bish Mcdeviit High School. Crusader's lead twenty two fourteen. As
we start the fourth Stay College now drives towards the
Union deposit end of the field here from the on
press box side of things here Rocker Tennesee of stadium
Mcdevit trail fourteen nine and a half and that Patrick
Bright ran the kickoff back for seventy five yards. Your
(01:57:09):
Saders would score forty eight seconds left in the third
on a swoops two yard run. They would go for
two and miss it, so they only lead by one score.
Big play here back to pass, caulca fires one and
he's got it for the first down up here to
midfield to Fry and the little little Lions convert.
Speaker 5 (01:57:30):
Gain of fourteen the var chance on the coverage there
and Fry did a great job of you know, digging
in there and coming back for the football.
Speaker 2 (01:57:40):
Two white outs to the far side. Caulc go back
to pass hit as he throws it and it is incomplete.
And now flags came flying in on the near side
and no chance of that ball being caught. And there
were Patrick Rutger, Rian Hart was in the area.
Speaker 5 (01:58:02):
Here's where the head reff needs to tell the back judge. No,
you can't because the ball is actually almost hit the
turf before the player was hit. Huh. They're gonna call
a hold on mcdebvon And that's a tough one there
(01:58:24):
for the Crusaders. They they got to the QB caused
the ball to be thrown short.
Speaker 2 (01:58:34):
You can hear the confusion, and he announced Rob McLeish's voices.
He announces that call two wide receivers of the far
side for State College and they will run this one
the chefy and mcdebic gets in there and shuts it
down quickly. Smith in there, r J Duffy in there
for mcdevon.
Speaker 4 (01:58:54):
They got two. It'll be second and eight.
Speaker 2 (01:59:00):
Crusader's lead twenty two to fourteen, eleven and a half
minutes left to play in the fourth quarter of this
one second little lines.
Speaker 4 (01:59:08):
With two white outs to the far side.
Speaker 2 (01:59:10):
One of the near Calco waits to snap Calco back
to pass. Here comes the pressure. Kaulka gets out of
their fires. One down in the middle the field, and
this one is caught where a state college touchdown down
the middle of the field and we were a two
point men version away from them tying the game, and
the mcdebnth player down as well.
Speaker 5 (01:59:38):
Once again, Kalka able to keep the play alive with
his uh his legs goes to his left, stops plans,
has time and the mcdevin secondary was beat at the
goal line.
Speaker 2 (01:59:52):
So eleven oh nine left to play here in the
fourth quarter. Now mcdevin up twenty two twenty because they
will work on the mcdebitt defender in the end zone
down there. Free streaming of tonight's game and the Game

The penalty art on the kickoff is huge. And on
a kickoff that goes in the end zone, no chance
to be run out and that ends up a huge penalty.
Speaker 4 (02:01:00):
And believe that.
Speaker 5 (02:01:03):
Is killing Smith's up on his feet. He's been everywhere
tonight for the Crusaders. He's done a really good job.
So certainly Stay College has had plenty of time to
come up with whatever two point conversion play the day.
Speaker 4 (02:01:21):
I'd like to go with.
Speaker 2 (02:01:22):
So mcdeviit's Lee twenty eleven nine left to play in
this game is State College will run this play towards
the Union deposit end of the field. See if mcdeviitt's
defense can get a stop here. They'll come with two
white outs to the near side, Kuka and the Shaku information.
(02:01:43):
He's got Cheffey to his left and one white out
over in the far side. Now Cheffey switches sides goes
to his right.
Speaker 5 (02:01:50):
Defense needs to make a play. Somebody needs to stand
tall for mcdebitt.
Speaker 2 (02:01:54):
Here's a little pass to the outside, and there's the
play you're talking about, Marty. Yes, I believe that was
twenty when Patrick Raich gets in there and knocks it
down to the Crusaders keep the lead. Twenty two, twenty eleven,
O nine left to play and this one will take
a break. You're listening to Visha mcdebit football here on

Speaker 4 (02:03:01):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 2 (02:03:02):
Here's the kickoff, as mcdebit w we'll return this one
from the two. They bring it outside. He's got the fifty,
takes it outside forty thirty five thirty twenty five, twenty
fifteen ten five touchdown.
Speaker 4 (02:03:15):
Bishop mcdebbit. Actually that was LaRue and Bisha.
Speaker 2 (02:03:21):
Mcdebit goes up twenty eight to twenty with ten fifty
four left to play in this with.
Speaker 5 (02:03:25):
Marty party Pike. He took that from about the two
yard line.
Speaker 8 (02:03:29):
Did the art I believe run around there ninety eight yards?
Speaker 5 (02:03:32):
We'll get an official on it. But LaRue just incredible,
makes the cut what he needed to around the forty
five yard line and he was going.
Speaker 2 (02:03:43):
So now mcdebit in the same position of twenty eight
twenty ten, fifty four left the play.
Speaker 4 (02:03:48):
Do you kick the extra point here? Martyn? Touchdown?
Speaker 2 (02:03:54):
Here comes Grella onto the field. So LaRue takes it
to the house and the Crusaders back up twenty eight
to twenty and what a change in momentum again, or.
Speaker 4 (02:04:09):
To answer immediately the State College. So mcdebit huddling up
here on the near side.
Speaker 5 (02:04:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:04:16):
They officials over here on the sideline talking to coach Wector.
Speaker 4 (02:04:24):
And now.
Speaker 5 (02:04:30):
I think there was an injury on the play Art,
but and I think the injured player it's kind of
doubled over in that huddle. Mcdebit's at about the twenty
yard line.
Speaker 4 (02:04:44):
Sound, So Crusaders now up. That's the big news. Twenty
eight to twenty.
Speaker 2 (02:04:49):
With ten to fifty four left to play, the Room
runs this one back to the house, thinking about ninety
eight yards or so. So much action happened in this game.
I was just writing down the last play in Room
takes it to the house.
Speaker 5 (02:05:07):
I think the official actually is injured Art. He's down
here on the sideline. Yeah, yeah, I think he cramped up.
I think that's what the LA is.
Speaker 2 (02:05:18):
Helping the offisher over here to the mcdebit sideline here
and he'll have a seat on the mcdebit bench.
Speaker 6 (02:05:29):
Here.
Speaker 2 (02:05:31):
They out blocked, so this time m will kick the
extra point up by eight, make this a two score game.
Speaker 5 (02:05:41):
Hopefully take it and Traff hold they've had a block
tonight and they've been in one just about every kick
very close.
Speaker 2 (02:05:52):
Brella on the attempt the extra point it's twenty eight
twenty mcdebit and Grella's kick is up.
Speaker 4 (02:06:00):
It is good.
Speaker 2 (02:06:01):
So Bishop mcdevic is up twenty nine to twenty and
fifty four left to play, and this one will take

left to play. After State College hits the touchdown on
the great pass from Lustic to make it twenty two twenty,
they get the big defense to play on the two
point conversion by right, and then the roof takes it
to the house for a touchdown, and they make the
extra point to make this a two score game of
(02:07:17):
twenty nine to twenty. Grella will kick offf towards the
Dairy Street end of things, and this one will go
into the end zone for another touchback, and we just
can't say enough, I'll make that.
Speaker 5 (02:07:27):
I just wanted to say, that's what I was going
to interrupt you and say, you absolutely do want it
into the end zone here. You don't want any danger
of a return.
Speaker 2 (02:07:39):
Ten fifty four left to play in this one, and
it feels like eternity right now is like debit up
twenty nine to twenty is both of these teams with
lots of firepower to explode with debit with two kickoff
returns in the second half for touchdowns. Cheerleaders almost threw
one up here in the press box. Was that when
(02:08:00):
Marty sat out of the corner of my eye. I
think somebody in the road right in front of us
caught that one. As they're tossing footballs into the stands.
All right, Calca back in there. He's got one white
out the each side of the field. Chefy in the backfield.
They give it to Chefy tries the far side and
McDevitt will get in there and knock him down, but
not before he picks up about four be second down
(02:08:21):
and six for State College.
Speaker 5 (02:08:26):
Now we got another injury over there, art more penalty.
Speaker 4 (02:08:36):

Yeah, they're breakfast putting the flag back in his pocket.

Speaker 4 (02:10:20):
A lot of momentum swings are now.
Speaker 2 (02:10:22):
It looked like a mcdebit player might have jumped off sides.
Speaker 4 (02:10:30):
I believe that's the key. So that happened.
Speaker 5 (02:10:32):
It was Zach Brown and he pointed to his helmet
and said it was me. And that's going to be
a first down.
Speaker 2 (02:10:38):
First State College and thirty three left to play in
this one mcdebit of twenty nine to twenty Devid's defense
needing a big stop.
Speaker 4 (02:10:48):
Two white outs to the near side, one to the far.
Speaker 2 (02:10:55):
Paulca looks over, still looking over, and he looks at
the mcdebit defense. Caukle will give this one a chefy
actually up the middle.
Speaker 4 (02:11:04):
In State College.
Speaker 2 (02:11:05):
Walker takes it up over the forty for our first
down for the Little Lions.
Speaker 5 (02:11:11):
State College finding some success on the ground that they
didn't have in the first half.
Speaker 4 (02:11:19):
It was Rowan Walker for the Little Lions on that carry.
Speaker 5 (02:11:22):
Devin a little confused Little Lake getting in a defensive set.
Speaker 2 (02:11:27):
Two white outs to the near side for the Little Lions,
this time one to the far Ron Walker still in
there running back. A fire went down the middle round
on the outside and State College was able to catch
this one out on the outside.
Speaker 4 (02:11:42):
I think that was code.
Speaker 2 (02:11:45):
Fourteen of fifteen for the Little Lions and it's first
down at the forty four yard line of mcdevon.
Speaker 5 (02:11:50):
Mcdevin's secondary art not really getting their turned around and
seeing the ball coming. And that was a case here
that he was able to get it by the defender
because he had us back to the ball.
Speaker 2 (02:12:06):
Two white outs to the near side again for State College,
one of the far and the Lions will run this
one up the middle, and that's Walker.
Speaker 4 (02:12:14):
Walker scrambling up the middle for about three.
Speaker 2 (02:12:18):
He's second down and seven for State College. Nine and
a half left to play in this game. State College
has all three timeouts left. Mcdebit has two two white
outs to the near side for State College. On his
second and seven, Paulka, looking over at the sideline again,
tries to get mcdebit to jump, and they will run
(02:12:41):
the ball up the middle again, but mcdebitt this time
defends it well and they knocked the running back walker
back this time. Nothing there and a little Lions will
have a third down in about seven.
Speaker 5 (02:12:55):
Duffy Milch on the tackle for the Crusader his third
and a short seven or long six.
Speaker 2 (02:13:07):
Two down territory here for State College. Two white outs
to the near side. One of the far Cauco waits
to snap back to pass. Here comes a pressure calcock
kind of air went out down the field. He's got
his man and a diving catch attempt by Fry. He
had it, unable to keep possession of it as he hit.
Speaker 4 (02:13:26):
The ground and he's shaken up.
Speaker 2 (02:13:31):
And Fry had mcdebit secondary beat badly on that one.
Speaker 4 (02:13:35):
Paul was right there for a play.
Speaker 2 (02:13:37):
He dived fool body length out to try and come
down with it, and when he crashed violently to the turf,
he was unable to hang on to it.
Speaker 5 (02:13:45):
Devin dodging a bullet there art is at h at
best for mcdebit, it would have been no touchdown and
one first of goal to five. Yes, yes they did.
Speaker 2 (02:13:59):
Mcdebit foot brought to you by Tim Decker, a Green

Decker tomorrow morning at ten and every Saturday morning at
ten right here on news Radio WHP five to eighty.
Green Spring Advisors. It's a fee only registered investment advisor
with the SEC So Fry will walk very slowly over
to his sideline over there. Now the biggest play of
the game. It's fourth down and six for State College.
At mcdebit's forty eight thirty two left the play and
(02:14:41):
mcdebit up twenty nine to twenty. If you can get
a stop here, Marty, you might be able to bring
swoops back on the field and eat up a lot
of this clock. But if you're State collegey, go down
and put seven on the board. It's going to be
a real interesting ending.
Speaker 5 (02:14:55):
Yeah, exactly. And keep in mind that, you know, State
College does not have to go for the whole bundle here.
They can do something short across the middle or whatever.
Speaker 4 (02:15:10):
Four round six.
Speaker 5 (02:15:12):
Do a quarterback keeper just get to six yards.
Speaker 2 (02:15:14):
Quorfin six from the forties. They have two white outs
to the near side, one to the far.
Speaker 5 (02:15:22):
Devin defense needing to play.
Speaker 2 (02:15:24):
Paulka waits a snap, war comes out here in the
near side. Paulk is gonna fire one and it's incomplete.
Threw it behind his receiver too high in the air
as he tried to hit Williams out there and mcdevin
fortune in Austin.
Speaker 5 (02:15:38):
Back out there for mission. Mcdebittt and they hold. They
got the rush, and there a.
Speaker 2 (02:15:47):
Lot of conchoose players out there. I was searching for
a flag, but fortunately there is nine and mcdeviit will
take over now, Marty, eight twenty seven left to play.
Speaker 5 (02:15:57):
Zach Brown and another mcdeviitth defender and all right, I
didn't get it art. We're up in on that play
playing pressure on the QB and causing to uh throw
it a little high.
Speaker 2 (02:16:11):
And Swoops is going to be in there running back
for a Bishop mcdebitt Holton Junior goes out on the
far side as a white out. They have Zach Brown
in there for mcdebitt, Gage Ruth out here on the
near side. Swoops all learn in the backfield back there,
and they give it to Swoops comes out on the
near side and Swoops powers forward for a couple I'll
(02:16:34):
give them two second and eight for mcdebit at the
forty two yard line. Mersader's lead twenty nine to twenty
here at Rock Partenzio Stadium here on Senior night, with
eight o eight left to play in this game, stay
college will all three timeouts left now, Swoops gingerly walking
(02:16:54):
his way over here on the near side. He just
has not been able to stay healthy here tonight.
Speaker 5 (02:16:59):
He just can't can't stop cramp it up. So Maurice Barnes,
it's gonna have to be big for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (02:17:08):
Seven forty five left to play play, clocks down to four.
Speaker 4 (02:17:12):
And they snap it.
Speaker 2 (02:17:13):
They give this one them Maurice, and Maurice burrows his
way up the middle and not much there. State College
or shut it down. It'll be a third down and seven.
Now for mission. Mcdebbit ish Palmer back into the game,
LaRue Junior and back Maurice. Barnes is gonna check out.
(02:17:35):
Seven eighteen left to play again. Another husu play in
this game. Mcdebbit can pick up the first down, it'll
really be in great shape here. But if State College
can get it back, things still very interesting. As we're
down to seven minutes left to play. Third and seven.
Two white outs to the far side. One of the
near Sebastian waits a snap back to pass as time.
(02:17:59):
I'm still the nearest sideline. Fires went up the middle.
He's got LaRue and l Arue goes backwards. Now tries
to get the first down. He's gonna be We'll see
where they spot at the ref a midfield.
Speaker 4 (02:18:11):
It is real close and they.
Speaker 8 (02:18:14):
Moved the sticks on the other side.
Speaker 2 (02:18:16):
They do somehow get the first down. Now the room
was wide open, Marty like right around the forty seven
yard line. Sebastian did a great job of getting it
to him, and then the root tried to come around
the corner here and he just apparently snuck up enough
for the first down.
Speaker 5 (02:18:33):
They brought LaRue from underneath and he had it almost
and then came back to make a big play, but
able to get to the fifty.
Speaker 2 (02:18:43):
Two white outs to the far side for McDevitt and
they'll get this one. The l Arroo again takes it
to the outside, gets down to the forty four yard line.
They'll say the forty five clock will continue to run
further and mcdeviit picks.
Speaker 5 (02:18:58):
Up five exactly five here and now you're holding onto
the football. And if you notice, even on the big
third down play, Sebastian calmly letting the clock, the play
clock run the entire way down.
Speaker 8 (02:19:15):
And he just did on that first down there.
Speaker 2 (02:19:18):
It's usually this point of the game where mcdebit's up
by a lot and they try and milk that clock.
Now they're just trying to run this one out in
a two score game. Second and five from the forty
five and now not what you can have there. They're
trying to give that one little rude junior. But mcdebitt
with a false start and that's huge. State College makes
(02:19:42):
a second and five second and ten.
Speaker 5 (02:19:45):
Wish that will change the play there. Sebastian Williams coming over.
Coach Wector gives him the play.
Speaker 2 (02:19:56):
Five point fifty and the clock ticking here and this
mcdevid up twenty nine to twenty second and ten from
the fifty. Olton junior out on the far side. One
back in the backfield with Sebastian Williams and they will
give this one off to LaRue Junior who gets down
(02:20:17):
to the forty seven.
Speaker 4 (02:20:20):
He got three and he did well to get that.
Speaker 5 (02:20:24):
Yeah, I mean just stay college pechnically in the backfield
on the snap.
Speaker 8 (02:20:30):
So third and seven, big play for Bishop Devin.
Speaker 2 (02:20:36):
Clock still ticking five to ten left to play in
the play, clocks down to twenty and they can run
this down to Lake four fifty before they snap the ball.
Speaker 5 (02:20:44):
I would not be surprised if he runs Sebastian on this.
Speaker 4 (02:20:47):
This would be that'd be a great call right here.
Speaker 5 (02:20:49):
Yeah, little fake the handoff of Sebastian turns if it's there,
and see if you can't pick.
Speaker 2 (02:20:56):
Up Barnes is in the backfield Sebastian as time fires
one and it looked like the receiver was hit from
Ish Palmer absolutely tackled from behind and no call. That
is ridiculous, speechless of that one. dB was clearly over
(02:21:17):
the top of Ish Palmer on that one and no
call just brutal.
Speaker 4 (02:21:24):
I mean that wasn't even close.
Speaker 2 (02:21:26):
I mean clearly ish Palmer had no chance to catch
that ball as he just came right over to the
top and took him out of play.
Speaker 4 (02:21:35):
That should have been a first down.
Speaker 2 (02:21:36):
Mcdebitt and said the Crusaders will have to punt and
Grella if a high punt that will bounce at the
twenty takes a mcdebit role in State College catches it,
but immediately tackled back at the twelve.
Speaker 4 (02:21:51):
Still just stunned by that one.
Speaker 2 (02:21:52):
I mean Ish was wide open and the ball he
was literally run over well before the ball was there.
Wasn't even close and somehow new flag homes. He's an
officiating crew. Definitely will not be on coachwack for Christmas
card list this year. I can assure you that not
(02:22:13):
a lot of calls going mcdebbit's way, and this one, folks,
minute ten left to play here, or actually four thirty
seven left to play. It's first and ten from to twelve. Yeah,
I was looking at them. Yeah, I wish it was. Yeah,
So mcdebit's defense is gonna have to rise to the
occasion one more time, at least here State College or
three wide outs to the fore side.
Speaker 5 (02:22:32):
State College has been able to throw the ball downfield.
Speaker 8 (02:22:34):
I don't know why they would change Kalka back the pass.
Speaker 2 (02:22:37):
Here comes the pressure, Calca running, he'll keep it himself,
takes it up the middle, gets up to the twenty
one yard line.
Speaker 5 (02:22:46):
Pick up of eight or nine. Calka does a nice job.
He was able to spin spin by Duffy.
Speaker 2 (02:22:55):
The little lines hustle up here. As the clock ticks
down to four twelve left to play, two white outs
to the near side, one of the far Kulka back
to pass at. Caulka fires one of the outside out
here as he was about ready to be tackled in
the backfield, and he did have a receiver Lustig in
the vicinity that the row. I don't think he really
(02:23:17):
believed he completed. He was just throwing it at his feet.
Speaker 5 (02:23:21):
Yeah, crazy philps really good in there. And Caulka got
it off within a split second of being being sacked.
Speaker 2 (02:23:31):
To third and one from the twenty one four or
two left to play. One white out to each side
of the field for State College here and they will
run this one the chefy up the middle and Sheffy
will have the first down for the little Lions as
he gets up to the twenty five yard line.
Speaker 5 (02:23:50):
Big play there for State College arc to you know,
pick up the first down. They can't do anything if
they don't have the first down. So now they get
a first set of helms and three fifty left to play.
Speaker 2 (02:24:03):
Three fifty left to play and three timeouts left. Mcdebit
up twenty nine to twenty.
Speaker 5 (02:24:07):
Debit needing a big defensive player, It's probably gonna have
to come for the secondary.
Speaker 2 (02:24:11):
Caulcalkina air went out down the field and this one's
way too far down the field. Good coverage by Bishop
mcdebit out there this time.
Speaker 4 (02:24:20):
Austin.
Speaker 5 (02:24:20):
Austin Mack has really been very acting out there for
mcdebit tonight at that current spot. Does a nice job
step for step with the receiver.
Speaker 2 (02:24:30):
Three thirty six left, it's second and tenth for State
College at the twenty five as they drive towards the
Union deposit end of the field, dev up twenty nine
to twenty.
Speaker 5 (02:24:40):
Good to see Fry back there for State College. He
was really good.
Speaker 2 (02:24:47):
Two white outs to the near side for State College.
One of the far Caulka back to pass fires went
over the.
Speaker 4 (02:24:54):
Middle, intercepted by Bishop mcdebbit. It's Ryan Hurt.
Speaker 5 (02:24:58):
Twenty five p.
Speaker 4 (02:25:00):
Fifteen and done.
Speaker 2 (02:25:01):
Of the nine yard line and the Crusaders take over
with three.
Speaker 4 (02:25:05):
Twenty three left to play in this game.
Speaker 5 (02:25:08):
He just fired at too high, right hard in the
right spot playing center field for the Crusaders. The big pick,
the defensive play out of the secondary. Then we just
talked about a minute ago art.
Speaker 2 (02:25:21):
The officials out there. I think there's going to be
a penalty on mcdebbit. But after the pick and you
we'll see Ryan Hart gets the job done there three
twenty three left to play.
Speaker 5 (02:25:37):
Well, the State College player that was in that ref
fuddle walked away looking disappointed. He's like, there's sickly a
sick at a facements.
Speaker 2 (02:25:49):
See what the call is, personal foul. It's a chop
lock against me. Devin Caladies continue to be called here
against Crusaders here three twenty three left to play in this.
Speaker 5 (02:26:10):
One, and we went from what we were about the
nine art or somewhere around there yep, inside the ten
I think, and mcdebitt with what was relly in great
position field position wise to put this away.
Speaker 2 (02:26:28):
So mcdebbitt will have to continue to work here for
a little bit. Three twenty three left to play. They're
up twenty nine to twenty at first down and ten
at to thirty two.
Speaker 5 (02:26:36):
It is Barnes at the Tailbeck.
Speaker 2 (02:26:39):
Spot, one white out to each side of the field
for Bishop mcdebitt. They give it to Maurice, takes up
the middle and pushes forward inside the twenty.
Speaker 5 (02:26:49):
Five seven and art. I don't know you've noticed, but
as soon as Barnes got the ball, we covered it
up with both hands yep, both arms wrapped out the football.
Speaker 2 (02:27:01):
Smart football there by the Crusaders. So we're down to
three minutes left to play now and at second and two.
Speaker 5 (02:27:08):
And if m debit gets a first down, I think
State College will have to use the timeouts.
Speaker 2 (02:27:15):
Crusaders have one white out on each side of the field.
They have two blocking backs in there, set just slightly
forward of Sebastian Williams Reese in the backfield, Crusaders taking
their time. They give it to Barnes up the middle.
He's got the first down and more down inside to
twenty pack, and I thought I saw the ball rolling
(02:27:38):
out there again and it happened too much tonight. But
Devin hangs on to it and gets the first down.
Two and a half left to play in this one
state college or three timeouts left, they don't use them yet.
Speaker 5 (02:27:52):
Yeah, I think I would have started calling year as
soon as medebot. But the ruin the game, Barnes came
off off, so neither Barns or swoops. Swoops up here.
Speaker 8 (02:28:03):
In the sideline waiting to guin.
Speaker 5 (02:28:05):
I think on the next.
Speaker 2 (02:28:06):
Play mc devit just waiting for that clock to tick down.
They give it to you, LaRue, and the Rue takes
it to.
Speaker 4 (02:28:13):
Up the middle.
Speaker 2 (02:28:14):
LaRue with score and he sings the Little Lion's a
good night story. As bish mcdebach go is up thirty
five twenty. It's a minute fifty seven month to play
in this game.
Speaker 8 (02:28:28):
The Rue really having some big carries in this game.
Speaker 5 (02:28:31):
Sophomore. We're doing a great job for the Crusader.
Speaker 2 (02:28:37):
So bish and mcdebit now up thirty five, twenty minute
fifty seven left the Playbrella on a tempt, the extra
points come to raft the holder. I snap a little bit.
Grella's kick is up and it is good. So Bishop
(02:28:59):
mcdevach goes up from thirty six to twenty with a
minute fifty seven months to play. And what a game
this has been here, tonaymooroard a lot of momentum swings
in this one.
Speaker 5 (02:29:11):
Yeah, you're absolutely, that's a great definition of with the
momentum swings and are we talked, you know, really all
year about this game after what we you know, the
wheel of the game that we saw last year up
at State College. It's just a was a pleasure to
treat to watch that call that game, and we were
(02:29:32):
excited about this one and we have not been disappointed.
Speaker 2 (02:29:35):
We State College really had hung around in this game,
and mcdebit could have knocked him out in the first
half and Stay College with some opportunistic plays, they took
the lead into the locker room, and then mcdebitt with
a big kickoff return, really started taking momentum back.
Speaker 5 (02:29:50):
And needed two defensive plays and we got one one
that two point conversion from a response knocking that ball
way and we needed a big play here and we
get the big pick.
Speaker 2 (02:30:06):
So we have a minute fifty seven left to play,
still only a two score game.
Speaker 5 (02:30:10):
Tyler Reinhard, who just dogs at football, makes the big
pick and sets up the touchdown for the Crusaders.
Speaker 2 (02:30:17):
Brella will come on the kick off here from mcdebitt
now as he kicks towards the Dairy Street end of
the field, and this one is returnable. They will catch
this one as Lustic brings it back over the fifteen
and he's tackled down in the backfield. A great special
team's play out there by Ethan Miller.
Speaker 4 (02:30:34):
Ethan Miller had.
Speaker 2 (02:30:35):
That nice onside kick call myster recovery, but it was
a high pop up kick short at the end of
the first half.
Speaker 5 (02:30:43):
Ethan Miller, with a great tackle and return man was
close to getting outside on that arc and Ethan Miller
are able to get enough for the leg to get
him down on the ground.
Speaker 2 (02:30:55):
So mcdebit's up thirty six twenty still minute fifty left
to play in State College or three times ounce left.
I won't mention the game that we.
Speaker 4 (02:31:06):
We all know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2 (02:31:08):
If you're a mcdebit fan, that was a playoff ending loss.
So here comes State College. Now balls at the fifteen yard,
lind they drive towards the Union deposit end of the field.
I'll give this one to Chefy up the middle, and
that's not going to go anywhere. It's just going to
eat up some clock and make it second and ten for.
Speaker 4 (02:31:29):
The Little Lions. Not the play I had on my scoreboard.
Speaker 2 (02:31:38):
Here State College lend me down by I mean, it's
a two score game. With the athletes they have, you'd
think they'd be throwing the ball down the field.
Speaker 5 (02:31:47):
At this point, specially with the success.
Speaker 2 (02:31:49):
In three timeouts. If you're mcdebit fan, you'll take it.
Kaulk is rolling for his life. Fires went down the field.
Oh man, this one is incomplete. Tried to hit Lustick
up there and it was almost intercepted as well.
Speaker 5 (02:32:06):
And what else. Tyler Reinhardt was the one who just
missed another pick just a little off to his side,
couldn't get it.
Speaker 2 (02:32:15):
So it's third and ten for the Little Lions, back
at the fifteen yard on a minute six left to play,
and this one he debbed up thirty six twenty here
on senior Night at rock Artenzio Stadium.
Speaker 5 (02:32:26):
Austin Mack and s clement In there at the corner.
Speaker 2 (02:32:29):
Spots, Lusty gut here is a learned white out on
the near side. And again State College is going to
run the ball up the middle here or out to
the outside.
Speaker 4 (02:32:46):
Rowing walker and uh.
Speaker 5 (02:32:51):
Rolling stars fourth.
Speaker 2 (02:32:54):
About two for State College with forty nine seconds left
to play in the game, and just kind of bewatering
ending here, Marty.
Speaker 5 (02:33:01):
You take State College very CONTENDU here.
Speaker 2 (02:33:07):
There any eight seconds left to play? Work in three
and just letting the play clock take down to ten
twenty four seconds left in the game.
Speaker 4 (02:33:23):
They'll bring one man in motion.
Speaker 5 (02:33:27):
And now.
Speaker 2 (02:33:29):
Lake clock will run down the zero fourteen seconds left,
and now State College will take a time out.
Speaker 5 (02:33:39):
Well part, I mean, I don't know their playoff situation,
but like McDevitt, they were not going to not be
in the playoffs if they lost, and at this point
maybe not risk another injury. Feeling like you know that
the game is over, so let's not get anybody hurt.
Speaker 2 (02:33:56):
That's the only explanation that you can come up with here.
I mean, you have a high powered offense who's showed
the ability to score quickly on big plage. Have three
timeouts left and two minutes left. It's only a two
score game. And they came out with less urgency than
I have at three am in the morning and let
my dogs out the peas. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:34:16):
So if you were planning on coming to see Bishop
mcdebit next week, I would suggest to go out to eat.
Speaker 4 (02:34:26):
You have a nice dinner.
Speaker 8 (02:34:27):
It'll be a yeah, have a nice dinner.
Speaker 13 (02:34:34):
This is your captain. We are going to be experiencing
some select turbulence.
Speaker 16 (02:34:38):
Please fasten your oh hold on, just got a video
mic cat.
Speaker 7 (02:34:43):
Imagine the pilot of an airplane was as confident as
you are Texting and driving.
Speaker 13 (02:34:48):
Seems kind of crazy when you put it like that.
Speaker 1 (02:34:51):
Visit stop tech, Stop rex dot org.
Speaker 12 (02:34:54):
A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
Speaker 19 (02:35:03):
I'm a beautiful park you'll never see. I'm a crippled
road that'll go untouch. I'm a public school waiting for
funding that isn't coming. Oh a Dolphin County foster kid.
And I'm costing you a brighter future because.
Speaker 5 (02:35:18):
You're ignoring mine.
Speaker 4 (02:35:20):
When we fail them.

Speaker 2 (02:38:39):
Hi Raight, Welcome back to Rocker Attend to you stadium
here at Bishop mcdebitt High School on Senior Night where
mcdevit wins an entertaining game here tonight, thirty six, twenty
over State College. Try and recap this game as best
as I can for you. Mcdebit drove down on the
opening possession, would fumble the ball with the ten yard line,
would get it back again settle for Aurella thirty yard
fieldbo Crusaders up three to nothing at that point. They
(02:39:02):
would score again nine to twenty seven left to play
in a half on them Reese Barnes one yard run.
The extra point was blocked. They led nine to nothing,
had a chance to open.
Speaker 4 (02:39:10):
It up even more.
Speaker 2 (02:39:12):
They would turn the ball over and State College would
come down and score on a Sheffy one yard run
to make it nine to seven. Then they would recover
the kickoff as Ish Palmer would fumble the ball and
this time Anderson would Anderson Fry would catch one from
Kalka to make it fourteen to nine. State College. At
that point we were at the half.
Speaker 4 (02:39:33):
Mcdebit.
Speaker 2 (02:39:33):
Patrick Wright would return a kickoff from seventy five yards
to start the second half. Mcdebitt's up sixteen fourteen at
that point, and then Crusaders would get it back again.
Speaker 4 (02:39:44):
After a long third.
Speaker 2 (02:39:45):
Quarter, Swoops should score from two yards out the extra
point attempt as they went for two was no good.
Crusaders led twenty two to fourteen after three, and then
Lustig would catch a touchdown pass from Kulka, a highlight
row pass to make it twenty two twenty. Patrick Wright
would knock down the potential at two point conversion. Mcdebit
(02:40:07):
was up twenty two to twenty still and then LaRue
Junior of a ninety eight yard kickoff return to make
a twenty eight twenty extra point made it twenty nine
to twenty. Crusaders defense would have to get a couple
of stops here at the end, and then finally LaRue
Junior a touchdown run put mcdebit up thirty six twenty
and that was the final score as the Crusaders go
(02:40:27):
to eight and two in State College falls to eight
and two to end the regular season.
Speaker 4 (02:40:32):
Will take one more break, We'll be back if our game.

Stake College thirty six twenty time for Game Day Men's Health.
Player of the Game. Game Day Men's Health to finding
a new here in ment.
Speaker 4 (02:42:47):
Health and all that that. Marty Boman go first.
Speaker 5 (02:42:51):
I really got to go with Zerra Jones Davis swoops.
I mean throughout the entire game art first half, second half.
It's fast, and he's got so much strength and it's
like he's like cutting when somebody's hitting him and he's
able to escape. And uh, I mean there were some
(02:43:14):
great contributions in the second half by LaRue and by
Maurice Jones in the running game. In the end, McDevitt
was able to run the football. They fled out. We're
able to run the football tonight. Uh unofficially, because you know,
I'm not good at this art. I never never did
well in man. But I have Jones at twenty two
(02:43:36):
for three, and I'm not sure about that one in
the neighborhood.
Speaker 2 (02:43:41):
I think, all right, well, I'll do my I'm going
to continue my hockey theme here, Marty with.
Speaker 4 (02:43:46):
My three stars. The three stars, Okay, I can't hell,
there's too many guys.
Speaker 5 (02:43:50):
There's a block art.
Speaker 4 (02:43:51):
Okay, okay, all.
Speaker 2 (02:43:53):
Right, So my number three start of the game to
night will go with Patrick Raight. You ran the kick
off back to start the second half for a touchdown, a.
Speaker 5 (02:43:59):
Huge and it was that pooch kick and as soon
as he got it, he was jet speed. Two steps
and he was jet speed.
Speaker 2 (02:44:07):
And with the score of twenty two twenty he knocks
down the two point conversion to Key mcdeviit had another Yeah,
So he's my number three star. My number two star
of the game will go with f Learue Jr. He
runs the kickoff back for a touchdown when it was
twenty two twenty. Immediately after mcdebit stops the two point conversion,
a huge momentum changing kickoff return to put mcdeviit up
(02:44:31):
twenty nine to twenty at that point, and then he
he puts the game away with the touchdown late to
make it thirty six twenty. So I'll do that, and
then obviously from the majority of the game, swoops just
just too good. Unfortunately, cramped up to night. If he
didn't cramp up, we might even been having a different
discussion on some of those turnovers. Yeah, so he just
(02:44:51):
cramped up of all nights tonight and in any event,
he had another monster game. But mcdebit gets out of
here thirty six twenty anything, I m tire right now,
ma Is, we will not be here next week. I
would think we'll be here in two weeks and we'll
see who we're gonna play. Stay tuned, folks, I'm sure
we'll have that out. We'll post it on social media
and you'll see it everywhere. But mcdebit wins thirty six twenty.
(02:45:12):
Any final thoughts, Marty, just.
Speaker 5 (02:45:14):
A huge win, a huge win against the game that
I mean, did they absolutely need it? No? But you'd
have never know, not for a second that these seniors,
well the whole team were nobody played like, oh we
don't really need this, you know. And you could talk
about the buye, you know, whether it's a good thing
(02:45:35):
or a bad thing. But in the end, you want
to win football games, and.
Speaker 2 (02:45:40):
We can be thankful we're not driving home from State
College today, Martyr.
Speaker 4 (02:45:44):
All right, great job, Marty.
Speaker 2 (02:45:45):
Thanks to Rob mcgleese, coach Wector, and JC back in
the studio mcdebit wins thirty six to twenty. You've been
listening to a radio, a news radio WHP five eighty
and I are radio. Good night everyone,
