Oh, the humanity we'll discussed aswe took a bite out of history with
English markets. It was a threeday trip from Frankirt, Germany to Lakehurst,
New Jersey on the Hindenburg class airship. It was contracted by American Airlines
and this trip on May third,nineteen thirty seven, was the launch of
its second season. It was nothingbut first class elegance in the sky,
with white cloth dining rooms, loungeon observation deck, writing room, and

but did have a strong headwind thatslowed the airship. It was hours behind
schedule when it reached Boston and hadto waste even more time circling the New
Jersey shore while a thunderstorm passed bythe landing zone. Finally, Hindenberg came
to Lakehurst, New Jersey, droppedits lines and began the docking process.
Then at seven twenty five pm,and explosion began the back of the airship
