The teflon Don will discuss as we take a bite
out of history with Ingles Markets. John Joseph Gotti was
born in the Bronx, New York in nineteen forty. Climbing
the ladder of the Italian Gambino Mob, he became the
boss in nineteen ninety five. He became a celebrity, constantly
in the tabloids and known for his snazzy dress, giving
him the other nickname Dapper Don. His lawyer, Bruce Cutler,
was just as famous for defending the mob Boston court

and in the court of public opinion. John Gotti won
acquittals three times during the eighties, remaining a free man.
The teflon Don, a jur in one of those trials,
was convicted of accepting a pride from the mob. This
ended in nineteen ninety when John Gotti was arrested at
his club for murder and racketeering. His trials started in
nineteen ninety two, and the key witness against him, Sammy
the Boll, was one of Gotty's top soldiers and made

a deal with the government to testify against him. On
April second, nineteen ninety two, Gotty was found guilty on
all counts and sentenced to life in prison. After the sentencing,
the Assistant director of the FBI said of the Teflon
don that don is covered in velcrow and every charge stuck.
