Now that call.
Speaker 6 (02:15):

Will. It's th game.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
In sound.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
Saying your.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Well, and we need to examine ourselves.
Speaker 6 (03:45):
You know sometimes we wonder well why things happen the
way they do, and you know, maybe we're not praying
hard enough. Maybe went on examining hard enough. In Second Corintance,
chapter thirteen and verse one, it says, this is the
(04:08):
third time the apostle Paul talking and writing the writer
of the letters to the.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Church at Korn.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
He says, this is the third time I am coming
to you in the mouth of two or three witnesses.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Shall every word be established I told you before.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
I tell you as if I were present the second time,
and being absent now I write.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
To them which heretofore have sin, and to all the
others that if I come again, I want to aspire
since seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which
to you you word is.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Not weak, but is mighty in you.
Speaker 6 (04:48):
For though He were crucified through weakness, yet he lives
by the power of God.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
For we all so are we in Him, but we
shall live with Him by.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
The power of God.
Speaker 6 (05:02):
Toward you, examine yourself, whether you be in the faith,
prove your own self.
Speaker 5 (05:10):
Know you not.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Your own selves.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Know you're not your.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
Own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you accept
you be reprobated.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
But I trust that you shall know that we are
not reprobates.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
Now I pray to God that ye do no evil,
but that you should appear approved, but that you should
do that which is honest, so you be reprobates.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I looked that word up. I remember one.
Speaker 6 (05:42):
Time tam brought a listen about reprobates and I look
that word up.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
And you know, by the selves and that reprobate, that.
Speaker 6 (05:51):
Word means worthless, not worth any But you know we're
not reprobates. And we realize that we all have worth
to somebody, but most importantly we have worth to God.
You know, God created man, He breathed into the nus
(06:12):
for the breath of life, and he became a living soul.
And he created man to produce after his own kind,
just like he did everything.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
And we're here because of the grace of God.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
And we are what we are, even though we live
in the world where people want to be something that
God didn't send him here to be. But in regardless
of the day of judgement, we're going to be what
we was when we come out of our mother's room,
we're going to be judged by the things that we do.
After we come to the age of accountability. I ain't
going to have to answer for what you do, and
(06:46):
you ain't going to have to answer for what I do.
But we're all going to answer to God by the
same rule book, and that's the Bible. So we need
to examine ourselves. First of all, have.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
We old way to God?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
You know me?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
And they said they have? And how they're written.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Many say that they're saying, are they ready?
Speaker 6 (07:07):
You know, we obeyed the gods for plant of salvation
that we've been read about in the Bible. We heard
God's work almost ten seventeen says, so then faith cometh
by hearing it in the word of God. We believe
that this is God's work. We had faith in it
and had enough faith in it to move us. And
without faith, it's impossible to please Him. For he that
(07:28):
come to God and believe that He isn't that He's
rewarded of them that diligently seek him Hebrews.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Eleven and versy.
Speaker 6 (07:34):
We were really willing to repent, change our minds and
doing what we wanted to do.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
And do what God wants us to do.
Speaker 6 (07:41):
In Look Chapter thirteen, verses three and five, it says,
I'll tell you except your usual all likewise prayers at
seventeen and verse thirty.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
At the time of the signments, God wake up.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
And now cometh all men ever were to repent.
Speaker 6 (07:54):
We repent it. We made that good confession. Eth Ope
in Munich made the eighth chapter. He said, seeing here's water,
what the enemy be baptized said, if I believe it's law,
thy heart, thy math. He said, I believe that Jesus
Christ is the son of God. Matthew ten thirty two
and thirty three. Jesus said, Who's said with our force
confessional before men? He will also confess before my father,
(08:16):
which is never. Who serves other nine men?
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Four men?
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Him will also tony before my father, which is never.
We need to realize the importance of making that.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Confession with the mouth.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Confession has made with the salvation with heart, men believe
with under rises. With the mouth, confession has made into
salvation Roman nine now nine and ten. H Paul writing
to the church at Rome. He tells us the importance
of making that confession and confessing Christ and doing it
(08:47):
with our mouth and understanding what we're confessing to, and
then being buried in the water grave of baptism for
the remission of our sin. You know, dealing with death
and people they live, People tell you, well, it's good
(09:07):
that they're gone. They had a good testimony. Well, the
Bible says that we're the letter of light. Shine the
four men, they may see their good works of GLORI
FORI our Father, which is in heaven. We are a
light to someone every day, you know. But most important
that God. Uh, we're living and he is our judge.
(09:31):
And you know, if we're a disciple of his, we're
encouraging those that are not members of the church to
become members of the church. If we we're encouraging those
that are members of the church to live closer every day,
and you know, uh, then they'll come along and say, well,
you know, uh, I've seen the light. Well, I can
(09:55):
tell you a man that's seeing a lot, A very
important man the life.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
The Paul of Tartin was a man to see the light.
Was he saved? No, he wasn't say he was pold.
Speaker 6 (10:09):
He was stricken blind and to get rid of his blindness.
He was told to and ask the question, now.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Why terry is there?
Speaker 3 (10:18):
Arise and be baptize, worshing away thy sin. You know,
it's all right to see the life. But the light
that we need to see is the light of the glorious.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Gospel of Christ. You know that's the problem. Was the
problem with the church at Rome.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
They couldn't see the light.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Of the gospel.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
And that's the problem with the majority of the world today.
They can't see the light of the Gospel.
Speaker 6 (10:45):
They can't understand the simplicity of hearing God's word, believing
them with all our heart, repaying past sin, and confessing
our faith in Christ. And the Son of God had
been buried in the water grave of baptism. That it
only does one thing, and that makes us such, he
should be saved. And when it becomes such, he should
be saved. The Lord adds us to the church, his church,
(11:08):
the one that he built in Matthew sixteen eighteen. He
set upon this rock, I'll build my church, and the
gates of health shall not forfail against it. And I'll
give him to lead the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
And what's server that shall find on her should be
found in heaven. And whatsoever thy shall lose them, there
shall be loosed in heaven. And that's the second chapter.
Peter tunk those keys, and he opened the door of
(11:28):
the church, and he stood before that angry mob that
the crucified and slamed the Lord of the morning, and said,
you have taken and was looking hands crucified and slaming
the Lord of Lord.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
And when they heard this, they were pricking the heart.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
And they said, men and brother, what shall we do?
Speaker 6 (11:42):
And he said, repent and be baptized every morning in
the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sin,
and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
As many gladly received their word. We're baptized. And they
were adding that day about three thousand souls.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
And that's two of verse forty seven.
Speaker 6 (11:57):
The Bible said, the Lord added to the Church of David,
such you should be, said, the Lord add this to
the church, when we have repented and.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Confessed and been baptized for the remission of our sin.
Speaker 6 (12:10):
Now there's those that believe that baptism is not necessary.
You know, Jesus said John twelve forty eight. He that
rejected me and receives not my words hath one that
judged them the words that I spoke in the same
to judgment in the last day. People are not listening
to what Jesus says.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
Jesus said in Matthew twenty eight eighteen, beginning all parents
given me in heaven and earth.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
Go you therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and to them the Holy Ghost,
teaching them to observe all things once every I have
commanded you, and will with you all the.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Way, even to the end of the word. Jesus said
that this is the word of Christ. And he said,
all paris given to me in heaven and earth.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
You know.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
And John twelve forty nine he said, these study that
I say.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
This is what the Father sent for me to say.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
He said, the Father gave.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
Me a commandment. Why is it saved? What do is
to speak? You know?
Speaker 3 (13:06):
When we read the read letters and understand that this
is Christ speaking, you know, do we understand?
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Do we understand this is Jesus speaking?
Speaker 6 (13:21):
Some medical along and said, well, I don't believe baptists
are necessary.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
I don't believe the name is necessary. I don't believe
we have to do this. I don't believe we have
to do that. Well, let me tell you something. You
can believe whatever you want will, but you can't go
to heaven doing that. You can believe what the Bible says.
Speaker 6 (13:41):
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, the person of
that ungodd the sinder appeared.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
You know, if we don't do what the Bible says,
you can believe whatever you want.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
To you and have told you many times.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
You go out here and put your name on a
board and now it's a building and open the doors
and says something.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Religious and you will have to have a follow like those.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Folders said this morning he his brother coming to hold
a meeting one time. They want very many there.
Speaker 7 (14:11):
And you know he said he just soon speak uh
the gospel to to us there is a hospital.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
No man this morning said he just soon to preak
two or three has to speak us out. And he said,
if that to us.
Speaker 6 (14:26):
Real, listen, and our worshiping God is spiriting truth, and
you know that's that's the purpose.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
But if you're speaking to the.
Speaker 6 (14:34):
Thousand that don't want the truth, and you don't want
it either, then you're wasting your time. You know, we
need to examine ourselves and understand that. Uh Paul said
that he'd have to speak five words.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
With his understanding. They tend to us in an unknown tongue.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
You know, there's a lot that I'm going to coast
going on in our world today.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
You know.
Speaker 6 (15:06):
In first printed chapter nine and in verse sixteen, he says,
though I preach the Gospel, I have nothing the glory.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Of for necessity is laid upon me. He wo wasn
to me if I preached up the gospel.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
And he says in verse twenty seven to the same chapter,
but I keep under my body and bringing a subjection,
lest that by any means, when I have preached to others.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
I myself be a castaway.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
Understanding the importance of preaching God's work and understanding the
importance of examining ourselves. As I said, if we have
to remember the plan of salvation, and we have to
remember what God has commanded of us. Matthew the seventh chapter,
he said, not everyone that saith in to me, Lord
(15:54):
Lord y'all in of the kingdom heaven.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
But he either doeth the will of my Father, which
is in heaven.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
You know, there's many, he said, that will say to
him and the day, Lord Lord, having that prophesied in
thy name and thine name, cast out devils, and I
named them any wonderful works, he says. And then will
I professing to them, I never knew you depart from me,
you that were connected. Therefore, who's ever hear these saves
(16:20):
of mine and do with them? I like him into
a wise man which built his house upon the rock
and the range of sin. The floods came and went
blew and beat upon the house, and it fell not.
It was founded upon the rock. And everyone that hear
these things of mine and does them not shall be
liking to a foolish man which built his house upon the.
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Sink and the range of engine.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Floods came, and the wind's blue beat upon that house,
and it.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Fell directly to fall up. You know, I told you
many times there had a lot of.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Emphasis put on sports in the world we live in today,
and uh.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Being on the winning team, being on the winnings side,
and that's all in the world. The matter that's in
things that don't mount the whole lot.
Speaker 6 (17:13):
If you gain the whole world and lose your soul,
what would you given exchange for.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Playing?
Speaker 6 (17:19):
And but everybody wants to be on the winning team.
Everybody wants to finish the best, you know, when it
comes to sports, But when it comes to religion, you know,
just any old team will do. And April one team,
one winning team, and that's christ team, That's God's team,
(17:40):
and everybody is invited to play on that team.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
You know.
Speaker 7 (17:44):
I know what it's like to be the last one chosen,
you know, for the team.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
And I have to be very good sports.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
You know.
Speaker 6 (17:54):
We all have our several abilities when it comes to
teaching God's work, and and we all have a responsibility
to carry the gospel to all lost and nine work.
And we're playing with the team that's a small in
number that's gonna beat the whole work in the day
of judgment when it comes right down to it, the
(18:16):
church that Jesus built is the only one that's gonna
mount hill of being. All the rest of them are
gonna they're gonna ask that question, Well, Lord Lord, haven
up prophesizing that name.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
And I ain't cast out devils, and that ain't known
many wonderful work.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (18:31):
I don't know you.
Speaker 6 (18:33):
You never was working meeting from the beginning, Like I
cold you that story that time about the father of
the total son, and went house and the barn and
the well, put on a piece of property, and and
exactly how he wanted it done. He went the house
and barn on this side of the creek, and and
the well on the other side of the creek.
Speaker 2 (18:53):
And he went off on his journey. When he come back,
the house and barn.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
Was where they were supposed to be, but the will
was in between barn in the house on the same
side of the tree. He said, I've done just what
you told me. He said, You've never done nothing that
I told you to do. He said, if you'd wanted
to barn somewhere else, you'd put it somewhere else. If
you wanted the house somewhere else, you'd put it somewhere else.
You put the well where I told you not to
put it, he said, the one of the well on
(19:18):
the other side of the creek, to keep the run
off from the barn the house from running in the well.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
So you know, James says, if we keep the whole law,
and you have offendom.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
One point, we're guilty of at all. Study show thyself
approved under God the.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Word one that needed enough to be ashamed rightly divide
into the Word of truth.
Speaker 3 (19:37):
Paul told him, studies, show thyself a proven under God.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
Each one of us have that responsibility. Each one of
us says, obey the gospel.
Speaker 5 (19:46):
How the power within us to convey that to somebody
else else?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
We didn't know what we obeyed to begin with.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
We understand the Gospel plan of salvation. We obeyed the Gospel.
Speaker 6 (19:59):
Plan of salvage, and we understand the consequences of doing that.
And I think that's sometimes that's the problem. People obey
the Gospel plan of salvation, but they don't understand the
consequences that goes with it.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
After obedience to.
Speaker 6 (20:13):
The Gospel plan of salvation, we're supposed to add to
our faith, virtue of virtue, knowledge and all this temperate temperature.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Pacis pacis godless, godless.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Brother kind, his brother count is Charokee.
Speaker 5 (20:22):
And he says that these things be in you and
the man they will make you that you need a
brand or unfruitful.
Speaker 3 (20:28):
See, God don't want us just obey the gospel to
sit out and do nothing.
Speaker 5 (20:31):
He wants us to add add, add, add, and and
and and carry the Gospel to the lost and dying world.
We're working on the winning team. We're carrying the gospel,
the truth to the lost and dying world. We're working
against seem like insurmountable.
Speaker 6 (20:49):
Odds, but we we can win, and we're gonna win
if we do nothing other than savor our soul.
Speaker 3 (20:58):
And that's that's our our responds Vinity Ben begin with
save yourself from us underward generation, letting.
Speaker 6 (21:06):
Our lights shine before others that they may see their
good works, and glorifying Father, which.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
Has never been the example that God would have us
to be the example of the believer in word in
conversation every day as we come in contact with people,
talking to him about the Lord, talking to him about
the Bible, talking to him about the Church.
Speaker 6 (21:31):
You know, the so called religious world is going from
door to door, knocking on people's door, handing out their material.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
You know, we send a box full of stuff the Philippine.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
And that's what that old man does when he got
it down there, he went from house to house, door
to door, handing it out, and on his journey baptized
three people. You know, maybe we're not carrying it door
to door, Maybe we're not doing what we need to
be done. Maybe we're not working like we ought to
be working. You know, we have the material, you know,
(22:09):
the you turn the TV on and seem like every
registation is one of them. So called preachers are teaching, uh,
not teaching the gospel. And you know, people got all
kinds of money for false doctrine and they'll accepted just
(22:29):
hook man sinker. But when it comes to the Bibles
and he ain't good enough, I think I think it
means this, or I think it means that it's of
no private interpretation, says what it means and means what
it says.
Speaker 3 (22:47):
People just don't want to understand. They don't They got eyes,
just like Jesus said that they got ice.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
We came here.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
They got eyes and they can't see them. They got
ears and they came here. And the reason they they
got eyes got slumber eyes. It is they don't want
to see it.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
They don't want to hear.
Speaker 7 (23:06):
I tell you.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
It's time that there was a great awakening.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
You know, we're.
Speaker 6 (23:14):
We're sending every day they get closer and closer every
day death on each each one of us has door,
and we done have the promise tomorrow. Don't make a difference.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
How all we are.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
You up the graveyard and you look on the two
stones and you find the young and that that old
guy like.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
It's like Joe Hill.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Said about our life, it's in between the dashes, from
the day we're born to the day we die. What
happens in between those two days, that's what we're going
to be judged for. We're born, we don't have a
hang in the world to do that, and we're going
to die. And they ain't non stopping that.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
People who's nine twenty seven sis disappointed other men wants
to die.
Speaker 5 (23:58):
That to this the judgment, they're gonna die or we're
gonna be changed in a moment.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
In the twinkling the life.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
And when God gets so tired of what's going on
in this world to say enough enough, he'll send your
son when he comes to the clouds of heaven. He's
coming taking vengeance on them that know not God and
overy not the Gospel were the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And they will be punished with everlasting destruction from the presidence.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
Of the Lord and from the glory of His part.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
And if we are among they, then we'll be punished.
Speaker 3 (24:30):
If we're among the righteous, He'll say, come you blessed
to my Father. Ever heard the kingdom of prayer from
you from.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
The foundation of the world.
Speaker 6 (24:37):
Well done, thou good and faith sir Inverna and the
joy of thy Lord. Examine yourself whether you be in
the faith? Are we doing what God has commanded us
to do? Are we working in the venue of the
Lord like we should? Are we worshiping God and Spirit
and the truth? We're not destroying to a ritual for
(24:58):
me as symbol on the Lord's day. This is the
Lord's take and this is his body and his blood
on this table that we're told to remember his death
and suffering on the cost by protecting of the body
of blood of cry. Are we examining ourself?
Speaker 5 (25:15):
You know.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
I can't examine you.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
You can't examine me.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
I don't know your life. You don't know money. But
as I've told you many times, God knows both of us,
and He's going to be the chap and he tells
the first drink, that is the leven chapter.
Speaker 6 (25:34):
If we eat of this bread and drink of his
blood unworthily, we're eating and drinking damnation.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
To our own soul.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
See you know, I don't go around this morning to
say Are you worthy? Are you worthy? Are you worthy?
Are you worthy?
Speaker 6 (25:53):
I'm telling you you better examine yourself. I better examine myself.
I better ask myself the question, is there something in
my life that.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Will condemn me from partaking to this? You know, Brother Johnson,
let us let us end our prayer while ago. You know,
he said he.
Speaker 6 (26:14):
Asked the Lord to forgive us of anything that would
stand between us and him. You know, when we pray,
do we pray and in our bible sadden this morning,
I don't know whether we got completely down to it
or not.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
We will, good Lord willing next week. He talking about
our prayers and repentance. If if we.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
Ask God to forgive us of something, then we must,
as brother Johnson says, we must truly repent. And truly
repentance is turning away from whatever we've asked God to
forgive us all, whatever that we've done, that we'd realize
that that's against God's will.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
We repent of that, we turn away from that.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
If we pray to God to forgive us of something
that we know, we're going to turn right around and
do it again. We're wasting our time because we ain't
never repent and God won't forgive if we don't repent,
but if we truly repent, like brother Johnson says, he
will forgive.
Speaker 3 (27:18):
And it's great to have those that we will pray
with us and for us.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
And we need to understand the importance of having our
life in such a manner, in such order that someone
asks us to pray for them.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
That God will hear our prayers. God will hear our prayer.
Speaker 6 (27:41):
Prayer is important, and it's only to those that the
Lord knows He's them, were the ones that he is is.
Speaker 3 (27:51):
His ears are open to the righteous.
Speaker 6 (27:54):
The prayers are the righteous, and it's important that we
realize that.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
And it's important that when we repent.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
And pray God, that we understand what was gone is
wrong and we're turning away from that.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
We're not going to go back and do that no more.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
And sometimes maybe that's the problem with our prayers not
being ancient. Maybe we are having decided to quit what.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
Was to done. Like I used to say, I'll.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
Say again this morning, to quit your mean us, you know,
And that's the same way with obeying the Gospel.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
You gotta quit your meanness.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
You got to.
Speaker 6 (28:35):
Understand past has passed. The son under the blood of Christ,
and we don't remember that no more. If we've got
it under the blood of Christ, we forgot about it.
God forgot about it, and everybody else needs to forget
about it too.
Speaker 2 (28:50):
And move on, press on.
Speaker 3 (28:52):
Towards the mark of the high colony and Christ.
Speaker 6 (28:54):
Tesus, you know, we don't look back, Sister didn't said
we're not of them in policy, we're not of them
that draw back into tradition.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
We don't look behind.
Speaker 3 (29:06):
We're pressing forward, looking for heaven when.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
This life is over.
Speaker 6 (29:11):
We're wanting want to do what's right in the sight
of God and all men, and if we do that,
heaven can be ourns. But we need we have great responsibilities,
and we must be about our father's business, his time
(29:33):
and his high time. Jesus at a very young age
realize the importance of being about his father's business.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
And you know, most of us in our lifetime, you
are you. We
