we're on medicine or different things.

You see, I'm responsible for preaching the word this morning.

You're responsible to seeing to it that I do.

And in a lot of places, people they don't care
what to hear as long as they go through the
motions of coming and singing and listening or pretending to
listen and protecting the body of other Christ and lay
by the store and get them go home. They gone,
and they think that's all there is too. Well, if

you're just going through the motion and this don't mean
nothing to you, then you better think again, because this
is the Lord's day. This is the Lord that he's
the day that the Lord set aside for us to
worship him and to worship him in spirit and in truth.
We're here for one another. And when we sing, we

sing together.

We sing for one another, and we sing to the
God of Heaven. And when we pray, we pray together.

And when brother Johnson leads us in prayer, or whoever
it might be, when we assemble.

And we need to ask the Lord as the congregation
to answer those prayers and the thanking for the things that.

do that better? And whenever we say amen, do we
really understand what.

Trained the younger generation in a way that they should
be trained, giving them these opportunities to preach the gospel.

you always a congregation?

Have you got very many young people?

Well, I've told him, you know, me, Donnie, Charlie, Monnie
and Bug Cave and Barbara, all of us that you know,
we're getting up in years.

But he said, have you got any young I said, well,
we've got Joe and Dylan.

We got Glenna and Nathan and uh Danny, Danny's one
of the older one.

But Thomas brother uh junior brother Ben, you know, and
and uh we we we've got prospects, you know.

And we we those that are working and and and
interested in working in the church. I can remember a
time when we were.

Over one hundred. And I can remember a time when you.

Went to Cannisburg and the house was full and there
was a lot of young people.

And and maybe we want the example that we ought
to be. Maybe they wasn't the example that they ought
to be.

And why this younger generation has not hasn't the fear
of of of the after life where they're going to
be an any for an eternity. They don't think about that.
And Brother Ron said last night, he said, you know,

the other generations have been taught that there is no God.

I can remember even when we were going to school.

And look at all the different religious organizations that are
out there. They're saying there's salvation in him and his

He was never satisfied. There's always something wrong with with
with anything and everything that you talk to him about.
You know, we're none perfect. The Lord will be a
lot better than what what we We sometimes act like

issues of life. Hebrews Chapter four, verse twelve talks about
the power of this book. Hebrews, chapter four, verse twelve.

nation and protecting the world.

your prayer this morning, this right here would bring peace
to the whole world. It's powerful enough to do that
if men would let it.

And you know, it all falls back to when uh

Mob was was uh uh saying crucify him, crucify him.

And they're getting their wish. They're getting their wish.

There they didn't want, they asked for.

And they just they won't accept him, then, they won't
accept him now, and they won't accept him in the
day of judgment.

We ought not to be that way.

We need to open this book and read it, study
and apply the teachings of it to our lives.

He says, through thy precepts I get understanding. Therefore I

And in a lot of places, people they don't care
what to hear as long as they go through the
motions of coming and singing and listening or pretending to
listen and protecting the body of other Christ and lay
by the store and get them go home. They gone,
and they think that's all there is too. Well, if

you're just going through the motion and this don't mean
nothing to you, then you better think again, because this
is the Lord's day. This is the Lord that he's
the day that the Lord set aside for us to
worship him and to worship him in spirit and in truth.
We're here for one another. And when we sing, we

sing together.

We sing for one another, and we sing to the
God of Heaven. And when we pray, we pray together.

And when brother Johnson leads us in prayer, or whoever
it might be, when we assemble.

And we need to ask the Lord as the congregation
to answer those prayers and the thanking for the things that.

do that better? And whenever we say amen, do we
really understand what.

We're saying amen to? Or it was going through the motion,
and yeah, I hear Brother Johnson the word of prayer.

Everything he said amen, And ninety percent time you don't
know half.

These things are are practice, and we put them into practice,
not only here, but at home and wherever we are.

We can show people that we're sincere about going to

Trained the younger generation in a way that they should
be trained, giving them these opportunities to preach the gospel.

But you know, he asked me, he said, what about
you always a congregation?

Have you got very many young people?
Speaker 11 (17:42):
Well, I've told him, you know, me, Donnie, Charlie, Monnie
and Bug Cave and Barbara, all of us that you know,
we're getting up in years.

But he said, have you got any young I said, well,
we've got Joe and Dylan.

We got Glenna and Nathan and uh Danny, Danny's one
of the older one.

But Thomas brother uh junior brother Ben, you know, and
and uh we we we've got prospects, you know.

And we we those that are working and and and
interested in working in the church. I can remember a
time when we were.

Over one hundred. And I can remember a time when you.

Went to Cannisburg and the house was full and there
was a lot of young people.

And and maybe we want the example that we ought
to be. Maybe they wasn't the example that they ought
to be.

And why this younger generation has not hasn't the fear
of of of the after life where they're going to
be an any for an eternity. They don't think about that.
And Brother Ron said last night, he said, you know,

the other generations have been taught that there is no God.

And that's about the truth.

I can remember even when we were going to school.

You know, they didn't believe that.

In the creation that God created the heavens and the earth,

Made woman, and they don't believe that. They believe in evolution, that.

We come from monkeys and all all the other theories
that's and men will continue, and the Bible even says
that man will continue to try to figure everything out
and he will never be able to why because he's
blind when it comes to this book, when when it's

so simple, Well, it just can't be that a way.
And look at all the different religious organizations that are
out there. They're saying there's salvation in him and his
deal and said in their Bible said, listen this morning,
you go back and ask four and verse twelve he says,
neither is there salvation in the other, for there no
other name other having given among men?

Why are people so so confused?

Well, you know, confusion begets confusion. You take people that
don't want to know, You take people.

book says. It's a simple book, James said.

He that looked at into the perfect love of liberty
and continue they're in perfect love of liberty, and continue
they're in. Then there's a condition he being not a
fordictable here, but a doer of the word, this man
shall be blessed.

In his deeds. You know, when we look into it
and we see what it says.

If we do it, then we'll be blessed in our deeds.

But if wish well, I I said that, but I
don't believe I have to do it that way.

to go to heaven, you do it. If you'll get
to heaven, we're going to do it quiet.

You know, Jesus was perfect. There was no sin in it,
neither God found in his mouth.

And he walked here among men, and he's seen all
manners of evil, and how evil men can be, And
how I'm angry mob could.

Take one man and crucify.

That had done nothing, that had raised the dead, that
made the blind to see, that death, to hear in
the darn, to speak the lame.

To walk, raise the dead, and they crucified him.

But we need to all remember one thing. The Bible says,
vengeance is mine saith the Lord.

as long as we are in our right mind.

To study this book.

Obey become a servants of God, obeying from the heart
form of doctrine that's been delivered us, the plan of salvation,
and being baptized into Christ. And then in adding the
Christian vertures to her life, faith to her faith, virtue,
virgin and allie and all his temperate, temperate patience, patience, godness, godness,

brother kindness, brother.

Kindness, charity, love, love for one another.

You know, we don't love one another.

Then it shows us if we love one another, it
shows we care for one another, we are interested in
one another, and we help one another. Probably chapter four
and verse twenty three, the Bible says, out.

You know, we're none perfect. The Lord will be a

issues of life. Hebrews Chapter four, verse twelve talks about
the power of this book. Hebrews, chapter four, verse twelve.

And spirit, and of joint and mar and is the

The thoughts and the intents of the heart.

Neither is there any creature that does not manifest to
his sight. But all things are naked and open to
the eyes of Him.

With whom we have to do. You know, he said,
and we say all the time.

You know, I may do things that you don't see,
I may say things that you don't hear it. But
God sees everything I do and everything I say.

And he's the judge and the wonders.

When we ask God to forgive us of those things

He'll save the souls of every human being on the
face of this earth. That's how it's desire. You know,
they all talk about safety and cars and protecting our
nation and protecting the world.

This right here would would do away with the atomic bomb.

This why right here, brother Johnson, as you prayed in
your prayer this morning, this right here would bring peace
to the whole world. It's powerful enough to do that
if men would let it.

But men have decided that they know more than God,
and they're going to have their way.

And you know, it all falls back to when uh
that angry.

Mob was was uh uh saying crucify him, crucify him.

Let him bluff be on our head and on our
children forever.

And they're getting their wish. They're getting their wish.

There they didn't want, they asked for.
Speaker 7 (28:52):
And they just they won't accept him, then, they won't
accept him now, and they won't accept him in the
day of judgment.

We ought not to be that way.
Speaker 7 (29:04):
We need to open this book and read it, study
and apply the teachings of it to our lives.

Sons one nineteen.

And one eleven says, Thy words that have I hid
in my heart that I might not sin against thee
Proverbs one nineteen and verses one O four, one O five.
He says, through thy precepts I get understanding. Therefore I
hate every false way.

Thy word is. However, my feet and alive my pathway.
That's what we need to need to be done. That's
why it needs to do. And James four and verse eleven.
