Speaker 1 (00:00):
Football Coaches Show presented by First Daid Orthopedex featuring head

(00:04):
coach Ryan Cardy on ninety four seven w DSD and
iHeartRadio with your host Voice of the Delaware Blue Hens,
Scott Klaanskin, and now welcome to Klondike Kate's Restaurant and
Saloon at the heart of Main Street and Newark, Delaware.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's homecoming week for the Blue Hens. And while I'm
sure Klondike Kates will be full of Delaware alums this weekend,
we are here for the Blue Hens Football Coaches Show
tonight right here on ninety four to seven WDSDFM and
iHeartRadio by First Date orth Peaks. Thanks everybody for coming out,
great crowd to night. As we get started here in Newark,
Comscott Classkin, and tonight we'll look back at UNI's first

(00:39):
loss of the season of twenty eight to nine, setback
at Richmond, and get you ready for Albany on Saturday,
the first of three straight home games. Plus one of
the captains is in the building, Brock Gingrec is here.
Give it up for Brock and a newcomer we'll get
to know tonight at cornerback Nate Evans is in the
building as well. But first, the head coach of the
Della Blue Hens, Ryan car You is here, Ryan Coach,

(01:02):
Thank you so much for being here. Appreciate it. Looking
forward to uh to chatting with you. UH twenty eight
to nine loss at Richmond on the road, first loss
of the season after starting the year six and zero.
And you know, we we come on this show every
single week and kind of talk about all things that
went right and the things that make you, uh, the
team that you you are and will be, uh, but
those things just didn't seem to be there on Saturday.

(01:24):
And so we'll get into some some details of the game,
but kind of start with your biggest takeaway from the
contest down at Richmond on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, I think you know, even the way you worded that,
you know, the things that make you good at what
you do and and the team that you are, and
I think you know, we're also the team that went
down there and and didn't put on a great show also,
And I think that's something that we've had to reflect
on and make sure that we continue to, you know,
make sure that we we mind our attention to detail,

(01:53):
in particular during practice times and meeting times. And making
sure that you know, the things that have made us
really good. We can't take them for granted. We can't
go through the motions on those things, even if we.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Don't even know we're doing them.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Maybe sometimes it's human nature, you know, things that happen
subconsciously that we can get to a position where, you know,
we just think the good things are going to keep
coming because they've been coming, and we know that, you know,
as a team and as a coaching staff and anybody
involved in the program, we know the things that are
going to make us successful, you know, and it's the
foundational aspects and elements of our program that we really

(02:24):
believe in, and we've talked about them on this show,
and we just didn't do them well the other day,
and we certainly didn't do them as well as the
team we played. And anytime you're playing on the road
in this conference, in particular against a really good football
team like Richmond Is, you really have to to be
sound and you have to make plays when they come
to you in the one on one battles. And then

(02:45):
we have to do a better job at you know,
those coaching decisions sometimes too, and putting ourselves in positions
to be successful, and then when we're in those positions,
we have to become successful. And I think those are
the things that we just didn't do as well as
we had in the first six weeks. And you know,
put ourselves in a hole. Uh tried to climb out
of it, and uh, you know, we didn't, and uh,
you know, because we weren't a sound when we needed

(03:08):
to be, and we weren't winning our one on ones
when we needed to. Let's talk a little bit of
the details with within the game at rich now Richmond
and we talked about on the show.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
But they are built to stop the run. They are
a run first defense in terms of wanting to stop
the run. And uh, I know later on in the
game the score kind of dictated having to throw the
ball more and more. But in that first half only
four running plays, two running backs through to Marcus Yarns
and then one to Joe Nathan Silver. As you look back,
did you did you think, maybe, hey, we should have

(03:37):
tried to give those guys some more touches early on,
or did we we go away from from the running
game too early when the game was still in sight
in the first half.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
You know, it's it's always obviously in hindsight, I think
about everything, of course, you know, and and you know,
even immediately after I'm looking at the stat sheet. You know,
those things obviously come to you when you're in a game.
You're you're in it, and you're focused on the next
play call and what you think is going to give
you the best chance to move the ball down the field.
And they are run stopping defense. They did a great
job with it. And trust me, there were more run
plays called. That's not really how run plays work anymore.
They don't always get handed off, and so a lot

(04:07):
of times those were you know, they were doing the
things that would suffocate the run and so the balls
were being thrown outside and those weren't very successful either,
and so the things that had been very successful, I mean,
we've probably thrown seven touchdown passes this year on run plays.
If you know, we might not recognize them as run players,
but they are. And so like it's not like, you know,
we weren't calling plays that could have ended up in

(04:28):
their hands. And I think the thing that you know,
I recognized even postgame, I was like, you know, those
are the games that you know, you sometimes when you
need a spark, when you need an explosive play. You know,
sometimes you just got to get the ball to your
best players too, and you know, there are ways to
do that outside of it, and unfortunately our game plan
wasn't really built for that because of who we were playing,

(04:50):
and going down early kind of threw us a little bit,
and you know, we probably started chasing a little faster
than we needed to. However, of course, you know, those
three possessions could have grown also, and then we would
have been mad that we were slowing the game down.
And so it was one of those things that you know,
it didn't work out in our favor. And always I
think the answer would be, you know, we should get

(05:12):
the ball to twenty one and twenty seven more. I
think that's always an answer. So for sure, I think
there's there's certainly you know, reflections on that, and you know,
obviously some things I would have obviously, like any game,
I would have called differently had I known how the
outcome was going to go.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
And then I think, you know, the main part.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
You know that we've discussed as a staff, and we
discussed with the players, and the players would.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
Discuss with us.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
The players were out there to be made also, and
so if we if we did it, and if we
did it the right way, and if we called them
the right way when they needed to be called, and
all those things happened in concert, then you know, we
would have been fine, and we would have came back
just like we had in a couple other games when
we went down a little bit earlier. So, you know,
obviously all things to reflect upon and and make sure
that we're always trying to get better and try to
make sure that we're you know, we're growing, especially after

(05:57):
our losses, you know, but also after our wins. We
always want ask the same questions, what could we have
done better? How can we improve and how will this
affect us weeks from now, not just next week? Right,
everybody's so reactive in this sport. You know, it's like, Okay,
well we lost, so now we got to get better. No,
we've had to have gotten better throughout this week this year,
or else we're not gonna be able to beat the
next team and the next team the next team, because

(06:18):
trust me, everybody's trying to get better.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah, and we sat here and talked about just how
good I always come up with a stat or brag
about how how well the offensive is doing and making
plays just those were there to be made sometimes on
Saturday and didn't come up with it, or a drop
or just a misfire, whatever it might have been. But
then also I think defensively, Richmond probably played their best
half of football their offense of the season. They only

(06:41):
scored twenty eight twice an entire game. They did that
in the first half. As you discussed with your staff
and coach Rojas, what did the defensive side of things
think that they could have done better perhaps on Saturday.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
You know, you won't be surprised probably to hear that.
It's very similar to the offense. Right, we were unsound
a couple of times. I think we pressed a little
bit too much. I think there were you know, probably
three specific plays that we tried to do too much.
Somebody got out of you know, their responsibility trying to
make a.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Play and we didn't.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
You know, we we created an explosive play for the
other team by doing that. You know, we have to
be sound and play with eleven hats to the ball
in our specific job, and you know, we didn't do
that a couple of times. And then again similar to
what we didn't.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
Do on offense.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
There were one or two times that they just made
a play in a you know, in a situation where
they needed to, you know, in a in when we
were in good position, you know, and and we didn't
always do that on the offensive side, and we had
been and so those are the ones that you know,
we've come on here and you asked me the keys
to the game most of the time and things like that.
It's going to be turnovers. We had two turnovers and
we created zero. It's going to be havoc. We had

(07:42):
our worst havoc raid on defense in the season. And
it's going to be winning our one on one battles.
And we were not as good this year this week
as we had been. And so, you know, credit to
the team that we were playing against. And then obviously
things that we need to continue to work on and
believe in and trust in the foundation of what we've built.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
I've given up Ony, that's next thing. Yeah, it is.
I get to say I know the same three I.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You hear them every Saturday pregame show about tenants for
a kick.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
We get to hear all that.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
No, but they're they're good and obviously, this, if anything,
shows how important those keys are because when you don't
do them, you could be on the other side of
the victory that we've had six times previously. In this game,
you talk about being unsound. I think there was some
some uncharacteristic plays as well in the game. I think
back to there was a pivotal I thought penalty in
the beginning of the game where there could have been
a third down and seventeen for Richmond, there was a

(08:32):
personal foul and then they go on to score on
that drive later on, and then later in the game,
I believe you converted on a third or fourth down,
but there was a couple of penalties that brought that
one back. And it's just like, that's not typically what
your football team has performed like in that game. Do
you where do you think that comes from? And then
is it just guys, like you said, maybe trying to

(08:54):
you're down for the first time and then suddenly you're
trying to do too much or what's your thoughts?

Speaker 5 (08:58):
One?

Speaker 4 (08:58):
I think for sure that's part of it.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
I think there's you know, there's an intensity that needs
to be had in this game in order to play successfully,
and I think we have to make sure that we
temper that with you know, being poised, and there's sometimes
that we you know, we kind of step outside of
ourselves in those situations when you know, when things are
going wrong, it's when we're going to step outside of
those and that's the that's the maturity that we need,
that's the poise that we need, that's the you know,

(09:21):
the belief that we don't have to step out of ourselves,
that our our teammates are going to get us, that
our coaches are going to get us, that we're going
to be able to make those plays when they come
to us because they're going to come to us because
we're doing our job, not because we're trying to do
too much. And uh, you know, and then sometimes it's
just circumstance. You know, Like one of those penalties on
offense was a chop block that's gonna happen once or
twice a year based on the way that the protection

(09:43):
works out, where the running back's cutting because his linebacker came.
The offensive lineman falls back off his his because he's
trying to help and he's supposed to not because he's
trying to do too much, because he's supposed to help
and he's up high, he goes low. I mean, those
things happen. They're so unfortunate when they happen on successful conversions,
but they do happen, and those are ones that you

(10:03):
kind of just have to, you know, shake your head
out and say, this is what it is. You know,
I think, you know, for the most part, you know,
we played okay in the discipline side of things when
it comes to you know that stuff. I think the
discipline really was more about, you know, can we make
sure we just have one hundred snaps If we have
one hundred snaps or we're doing our job.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
I don't think we always did that.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
And what what has happened? And you're I was putting
together the show and as I always do, think of
you know what, I'm going to ask about it, and
it felt different this week obviously coming off of a loss.
So but I was looking back, We've only had five
shows coming off of losses so far, so it is
it is rare that we have a first segment conversation
where we have to reflect on something, uh that didn't
lead to a victory, but your team has so has

(10:49):
done so well in the few losses that you've had
in the regular season, your teams are six and one,
bouncing back the next week and getting ready and putting
in in the past and getting ready for uh in
this case, all you know. I was watching one of
the many shows with the talking heads this week and
somebody was asked, Hey, you think the Chiefs will go
undefeated this year, And one of the guys just said, no,

(11:09):
it's it's too hard. It wasn't no, the Chiefs aren't
good enough. It's just it's too hard to sometimes go
undefeated during a year. But you got to bounce back.
So where are you guys at for practice this week?
How things have been going, and do you feel like
your team is ready to focus in on on homecoming?

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Absolutely, you're right. I'm winning as hard. It's one of
the messages that we try to instill as much as
we can, and you know, we again until sometimes we
have a loss. You know we're gonna win, and then
we're going to do our best to correct. Sometimes we
have a little bit more of a great audience when
we lose and try to make corrections because it's a
little bit more poignant, it's a little bit more purposeful
at the time and those are the things that we

(11:46):
need to continue to get better at maturity wise, and
know that we have to keep going forward. But we
did have you know, it's something we talked about with
the team. And we have an inflection point in our
season right now, and it's going to go one of
two directions, and we have to make sure that the
direction that we hues is about preparation and toughness and
you know, going forward in a positive way. That we
know is that, you know, we know what's going to

(12:07):
make us successful and it's how we how hard we work,
and you know, and we talked about it as a team.
Winning takes what it takes. You know, it's not choosing
whether or not you want to work hard. Winning takes
working hard, and so you're choosing if you want to win.
And so we had a great week of practice on
Tuesday and Wednesday so far, and we're going to continue
that tomorrow and Friday, and you know, we'll see a

(12:28):
prepared football team on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
And I'm sure one of the captains is helping it
and getting that team prepared for Saturday. We're gonna talk
to one of them when we come back brock ingrig
this year we'll take a time out. We come back,
we'll talk to one of the team captains. Ninety four

Thanks so much for being here.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Appreciate you having me on.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
Thank you so much. You're you're two time lacost Upon.
That's the guy we learned. This is your first Klondike
Kate's Coaches Show, so welcome, welcome.

Speaker 5 (16:05):
I appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Not your first time up here at Clini Kate, So I'd.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Say, I don't know if I can answer that.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
There were all right, any off plenty of off seasons.
All right, well, you are a two time captain and
we know your captain last year, captain again this year.
What does that mean to you? I know that the
players vote for that, so to be picked amongst your peers,
it's got to be pretty special two.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Times in a row.

Speaker 11 (16:24):
I mean, just the history of this program and what
all it entails being a captain, I mean, it seems
a lot harder than well, I mean, it is a
lot harder than what people think it is. It's definitely
a privilege, and I appreciate everybody that put their vote
in for me, and I think I had to show
them in my actions and my words and every day

(16:45):
bring it every day.

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Well, what does it entail to they take us through
this week, especially coming off of a loss, to get
everybody kind of refocused. I'm sure they turned to you
for advice and motivation.

Speaker 11 (16:54):
I mean, some of these guys coming into the program,
they never lost the game in high school. So I
mean I'm not one of those people. And I think
you gotta just reset, and I think you need to
bring extra juice to practice and just do all the
things that you do on a regular basis. I mean,
I think you can't change the way you practice because

(17:14):
you just gotta rely on all the things that you've
already instilled in yourself.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Absolutely, I worked at the first six weeks of the
season getting to six no record, and go back to
to getting ready for Albany this week. Take me back though,
to to win number one week number one. You know,
you start your your senior campaign here, you're ready for
your final season, and then you go down with a
knee injury. We're so glad that you're back and healthy now,
but take me back to that moment of what's going

(17:40):
through your mind.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
There.

Speaker 11 (17:41):
I mean, I've never been injured before, so I mean
I had a couple of bruises in high school.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Not nothing, biggie.

Speaker 11 (17:48):
But I think just going down on the field, I
think one of the things that people always say to
you during football is you never know when you're next,
when your last nap is gonna be. And just being
the last year and being out there and I don't know,
it did not feel very good. And one of those
things is you got to just rely on your teammates.
And I think when I got up, I mean, it
didn't feel great, but just looking at everybody out there

(18:10):
and just realizing that they got my back, that's just
one thing that just kept me going.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Well, we were so glad that you worked your way
back and you're here to finish off the season. But
your teammate, Stephen Dembrossi comes in in relief, and you
must be so proud of your teammates to come in
and see how well he played well.

Speaker 11 (18:28):
I mean absolutely. I think when he came in on
his recruiting visit, I didn't know exactly all he had
and just being around him and his work ethic and
just the way he goes about his business, it's just
top notch. And you think about all of those times
where you're out there playing on the field and you
realize the guy behind you it's just as good at

(18:48):
everything that you do. And I definitely think he's pushed
me to my limits, and I think I've pushed him
to his limits as well.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Well.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
He's learning from the best. Talk about the guy behind you,
But how about the guys that are with you on
that offensive line. I mean, you have played forty one
games here at Delaware Bradley and Yahoo forty six games,
Patrick Shop forty one Bros. Thirty nine. Sparks is the
young man at thirty five games, but that's two hundred
and two combined games for the veterans of the offensive line.

(19:17):
How close knit is is this group both on and
off the field.

Speaker 11 (19:20):
I mean, Blaze Place Sparse is my roommate, and I
mean that's as close as you can get.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
I think our room.

Speaker 11 (19:27):
Just being able to get through all the things that
we've gone through these past couple of years has just
made a stronger and just made our group and just
show that we can do so much before this team.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
For those guys that I have mentioned, you are a
combined one six eleven pounds across the offensive line. Do
you guys just ever roll up altogether to a restaurant
and just like hey, sit down at the table and
just watch the fear of all of the chefs and cooks.

Speaker 11 (19:53):
Well, we kind of started a thing where it's Thursday
night O line dinner. And a couple of weeks ago
we went to Longhorn Steakhouse, and let's to say, I
think we took down a whole cow.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
So I feel bad for all the cows that I
bet you did. But no, it's great that you guys
are so close knit and been playing for a long time.
I have been saying Bradley's name wrong for all forty
six games. I will continue to say it wrong. I
said yours wrong for about thirty one or so. I
think we corrected that. How often is your name mispronounced?

Speaker 11 (20:21):
Well, I think it was early last year. I was
going to weigh in and Austin er nutritionness is like
ging Rich, and I was like, come on, Austin, my
last name is ging Rick. And he never knew it.
And I don't think I ever told anybody about it.
I just kind of whatever I mean it.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Would I mean, I write it incorrectly, just to make
sure that I say it the right. Have you ever
thought that maybe you're saying it wrong? No, Well, it
is brock Gingrick and we love having you on a
two time team captain. Game forty two is coming up
for your career here at Delaware against Albany. I know
that that's the most important one because it's the next one.

(20:59):
But as you look back on all of those games,
is there a moment or a game that that stands
out on the top of towards the top.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Of your list.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
That's a tough one, Scott, and that is real tough,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
It's not fair too to guys that are so focused
on the Great Danes on Saturday. But sometimes I throw
it out to the veterans that you'll have time to reflect.
I guess after the season is over, unless unless you
got something on top of.

Speaker 11 (21:20):
Me, I'd say probably this year versus Monmouth. I think
one of those things is I think we took another
step as an old line. I think we had we
battled some injuries. People were cramping and colluded myself. There's
a lot of guys that were going in and out,
and I think a couple of times during that game,
We've looked at the sideline and everybody's just staring at
the Old line.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
Just you got it.

Speaker 11 (21:42):
And it's one of those things where having that pressure,
that's that's something that the old line has always strived
to want and uh, just having that it's just something
I can't even.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
It was a great ball game for sure, came back
and got the victory. Talking with Brock Gangrick, I want
to talk about your dad put some pretty neat this year.
We've talked about. He is a high school head coach,
but inducted to the Pennsylvania State Coaches Association Hall of
Fame this year. It must have been pretty special for
you and your family.

Speaker 11 (22:10):
Well, you see, I know my dad's listened to this
right now, and I'm sorry for not being there. That
is the first thing I'm going to say. Unfortunately, I
had other plans. It was a It was my brother
in laws bachelor party that weekend too, so I'm not
going to disclose any information about that, but let's just
say when I got home, I this is a crazy

(22:32):
story about it. So during that this past winter, he
got a random phone call from a four to one
to two number. Everybody knows the area code is Pittsburgh,
and I was like, D like, I get it, Like
you're all famous and stuff. You don't have to answer
the phone all the time, but I think you should
answer this phone call right now. Turned out it was
the head guy from PSFCA and they told him he

(22:52):
was inducted in the Hall of Fame. And it was
one of those things where it's just being in the
car listening to that.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
That was that was something else.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
That's pretty cool now I undert and that it doesn't
work out that you can go there. Probably not great
for a brother in law to have to not allow
the family. That's probably a whole other episode though, to
go to the induction ceremony. Lastly, for your final five,
I can't go without a mentioning you're famous now. Spring
game hairdos. We talked about Cheetah print in twenty twenty three,

(23:20):
went Tiger Print this year. What goes on to the
decision making of.

Speaker 11 (23:24):
That, Well, you see, I was telling Brennan all week.
I was like, Brennan, there's I'm getting tool. I don't
know if this hair is grown back. I didn't want
to do it. People were telling me, oh, you gotta
do it. You gotta do it, so last minute choice,
I said, I'll do it. But the problem was when
the girls were doing it to me, I took the
guard thing off and I didn't realize how short it was.

(23:46):
So if you see the picture, that's a huge strip
right on the right side. That's a little bit shorter
than everything else.

Speaker 2 (23:51):
But it looked good. It always looked good, and You're
always look good out there on the field. We appreciate
you playing for so many games that we look forward
to you finishing the season strong. Let's finish this segment strong.
Final five questions. Your mom Sue one, and we talked
about your dad, but your mom was quite the athlete.
Three national championship at Elizabethtown in basketball. Your sister Marissa
played there as well. Game is two eleven, who wins

(24:14):
versus you versus Marissa?

Speaker 5 (24:16):
And I'm taking her to the paint. I think I'm
winning eleventh ten.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Wow, I was gonna phrase that, how much do you
lose by? But I like your your your confidence. Your
Twitter hit handle says you're a barstool athlete. That was
something that came up when when that became available.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
What do you get?

Speaker 2 (24:31):
You get like a t shirt or a hoodie. What
does that mean?

Speaker 5 (24:33):
Well, you get a sweatshirt, you get sweatpants, and you
get a shirt.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Dave Portoy doesn't know you're you by name, though, does he?

Speaker 5 (24:39):
No, he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
All right.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
There was a question on Blue Hen's social where after
practice everyone picked their favorite emoji. Which emoji did you choose?

Speaker 11 (24:49):
I like the the smarty pants one where it's like
the glasses and the little squinty eye, like.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
That one you're about to make the face. It doesn't
work on radio, so I appreciate. But a good show
for those in attendance. Your high school Wikipedia page, I
like to do some research on everybody in their hometown.
Your high school Wikipedia page has the least amount of
information I've ever seen on any player. That's everyone on
the show. It basically lists the varsity sports that are available.
So tell us something interesting about your high school or
your hometown.

Speaker 11 (25:16):
Well, the one thing that I tell everybody about my
hometown is there's one red light.

Speaker 5 (25:21):
So I mean you're getting in and out of that
real quick.

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Well, there we go.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
Maybe that's why the Wikipedia page Joe was so small.
And then lastly, Brock bouncing back on Saturday. What the
hell's need to do to get a victory get back
in the win column.

Speaker 11 (25:32):
Well, I mean we just got to go back to
our core values and committed rell in, listen, finish. I
think if we do those things and we have a
hot start and that's all we need to do.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Rock always love talking with you. Thank you so much,
appreciate it, Brock Ginggrick. Everybody will take a time out
and we come back more with our head coach Brian Carty.

this week will be offensive line coach Chris Rodgers, as
well as Haley Aliota and Michael Armstrong from Football Operations.

(29:25):
Don't want to miss that I'm Scott Glaskin here now
once again with our head coach Ryan Carty and coach.
You have been asked, in multiple ways by multiple people
kind of the motivation or in some version of the
of how it works that you can't have the playoffs
and you can't be ranked, and how that works going
into a game. In terms of, you know, motivation to
win a ball game. I'll kind of flip it, because

(29:47):
you know, in every season, it's only human nature to
think after a loss, and I know I do it.
I'm sure some fans do it. Well, Okay, we lost,
but if we still get to eight wins or if
we still do you start doing some math and you
start thinking about okay, well well now you start making
projections and just just looking ahead, and how does it
affect the playoff picture, et cetera, et cetera. You know,

(30:08):
with a loss in this season, it is literally just like, okay,
let's let's get ready for for albody, like, let's literally
it does not affect next week at all. So you've
been asked about how it affects maybe trying to win
a game. How how is the feeling different, if at all,
after losing a ball game in this type of season.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
Yeah, unique outlook. You know, I think that for sure.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
I I mean, I've only had this will be the
first year of my coaching career where I was not
worried about exactly what you were talking about the FCS
playoffs and how many how many wins are we gonna
need this year and and what is our seed going
to be and all that. And you know, we're lucky
enough this year to to have four playoff games left,
and that's that. You know, we know exactly how many

(30:51):
games we have, and we have a you know, a
playoff game this weekend against Albany, and we're excited about it.
And that's that's the biggest game of the year for us,
and so we are able to kind of wipe it clean.
I said it to you guys today on our media call.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
You know, I.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Understand the fans' perspective of you know, losses are tougher,
you know, for longer. You know, they're probably harder on
the people involved in them, but they're tougher for longer
for fans, for support staff, for media members, for people
who are invested in the team. But they got to
wait a whole week to get the taste out.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Of their mouth.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I mean, we've been practicing for Albany since Monday at
about ten ten am, so you know, we've kind of
moved past it in the right way and trying to
make sure we learn from it, and you know, but
we're on to the next one and we get a
chance to kind of immerse ourselves into the next week
where you know, i'd understand, like we're still talking about Richmond.
It's it's kind of past me and I get it,
but it's it's you know, it's something that you know,

(31:42):
we're trying to do our best to you know, learn
from it and then work on you know, our again.

Speaker 4 (31:48):
Like I said, our our big super Bowl this week
against Albany.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Well, there are four games left now in this season,
and so I want to ask at this point in
the year, there are some players that have played two
games or three games. May there's some players that are
at four games, and are there conversations and even about
maybe I'm sure there's some some players that are high
on on fans radars or media members radars, but maybe
there's some guys that you think could be a future
starter and you don't want to that are further down

(32:12):
the depth chart, but you want to make sure they
have that red shirt year. Do conversations start to take
place in terms of maybe managing a roster for some
red shirts at this point of the season.

Speaker 3 (32:20):
Yeah, I mean those conversations happen every year, you know.
I think, you know, maybe a little bit more heightened
because of the fact that you know, this is a
transition year and then there's no we know there's a
final won't be of games and so it's a little
bit easier to say, hey, this is the amount of
games we have left on our schedule. Can we figure
this out? And you know, the way we deal with
red shirts and it hasn't really changed this year. You know,

(32:43):
it may the outlook, maybe the perspective may be different,
but the way we deal with them is gonna be
the same. It's gonna be conversations had with each individual
player about what's best for them as student athletes, uh
and their futures and what's best for the team and Kent,
is there a way that we can, you know, do
what's best for both of us at the same time
and do our best to make sure that you know,
we're treating everybody correctly.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
But we're also looking for.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
You know, what's best for you know, the outcome of
the doll or Blue Hens as well on Saturdays, and
so you know, those conversations are are constantly happening. It's
not happening now more than it was in the beginning
of the season or preseason or you know, two to
three games into the season, but yeah, there are you know, obviously,
each week we're going to get reports that say, this

(33:25):
is the status of all the players in your program,
and you know, participation reports and how many people have
played this many games and so those things are all
you know, being kind of conversed about throughout the season.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
You've made it this far in the year with really
since Week three, having multiple quarterbacks questionable each week and
kind of just gauging availability. We know Ryan O'Connor and
Zach Markery's is so tough going out there and playing
hurt probably or not at one hundred percent, I'll say
all season long. Nick Manacuci went out against Sacred Heart

(33:59):
on the first play. It was good to see him
be available against Richmond. With probably all quarterbacks getting a
questionable getting que next to their name this week. Again,
this is not an ask about who the starting quarterback
may be, but I thought about this. We've discussed Ryan
O'Connor on this show at length. We talked about Zach
Marker at length, you know, last year on this show

(34:19):
at least. Nick Minicucci came in after the Villanova game.
Had a good game obviously against Sofiette, But we haven't
discussed him on the show. So kind of introduce him
a little bit to our listeners. And what you like
about Nick and what gives you confidence that he can
go in there and do the job if need be.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
That's a great question. Yeah, Nick's you know, he's outstanding.
He's such a great kid, you know, really athletic, really tough,
you know, really unfortunate that he got heart of the
first play that start. He was going to have kind
of forsack into action maybe Bill before he was ready, and.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
And then you know, obviously good to have him.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
He got cleared right around the time of preparation for
last you know, for for that on Saturday, and so
he was available as what he needed to be basically
an emergency.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
Guy, uh last week.

Speaker 3 (35:05):
And he's getting better as time goes on. But what
we love about him, you know, he's got a really live.
Arm played it at a high school at Don Moscow Prep,
that you know, obviously prepared him for big games. He's
played in in you know, Met Life Stadium a couple
of times, in state championships. He's been in big time
situations and uh, and you could see that when he had,

(35:27):
you know, with the confidence that he had to go
into a playoff game in his first start ever as
a true freshman. And you know, I was thinking back,
it was that's the first true freshman and I've ever
played with at quarterback. And you know, it's not easy,
especially in this offense. This is not one of those
offenses that you can just roll out. And you know,
kind of anybody who's talented. Now, we do our best

(35:47):
when we know somebody is gonna be playing to build
it around them, you know. And in the unfortunate times
in the last couple of years we've had is that
we haven't necessarily known that it's coming and and so
you know, we've been able to to adjust and improvise
and and uh, it takes really talented people and and
uh and tough people and smart people to be able
to pull that off. And next, one of those guys

(36:08):
that you know, I think has all the tools to
become a really good quarterback, and uh, it's been fun
to see his progression too, in in knowledge of the
offense and in his preparation techniques, which is really important
at that position.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
It's not easy to just roll in on.

Speaker 3 (36:22):
A on a on a Tuesday and not have not
have watched your own film and not have prepared the
way you need to prepare, and I think he started
to realize that, and it's it's great for him to
be in a room with people like who prepare as
well as any quarterbacks I've ever coached, like Nolan Henderson
and Ryan O'Connor and Zach Marker and those guys that
are just so detailed oriented make sure that they know

(36:43):
all of the answers to the test on before Saturday comes.
And it's good for our young guys to be able
to see that, and hopefully eventually he'll be one of
those guys that's passing that technique and those that that
detail and attention to detail in the meeting rooms along
to the next guys.

Speaker 2 (36:57):
Well, thank you for that, and we look forward to
to seeing Nick's career continue to grow here at Delaware
and we'll find out on Saturday who may be in
at QB as Rhin O'Connor, Zach Marker. The good news
is you have three guys that seem very capable of
doing the job for you on Saturday. We've got a
guy that is doing a great job here at Delaware
in his first season. We're talked to him in the

(37:17):
next segment, Nate Evans. He's a guy that you got
over here from NC State. There's multiple guys on this
team that have come over from FBS programs or even
other transfer positions. Jake thawfer Michigan, Jason Scott from bost College,
Max Patterson from Rutgers this year, but they all come
from the transfer portal line. I thought it would be
interesting to kind of learn your perspective. There's thousands of

(37:39):
names out there on the transfer portal, and sometimes you've
got to be in there first. I think getting ready
for Jake Thaw to come on the show, you guys
might have been one of the first to offer. As
soon as he like hours after he goes into the portal,
he posts on his Twitter feed that he hasn't offered
from Delaware. How do you navigate it? I'm sure it's
more than can be discussed within a five minutes of

(38:01):
a show. But just tell us a little bit about
how the transfer portal works to get guys in this program,
great guys like Nate Evans.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Yeah, it would take a long time to discuss the
whole ins and outs of it. I mean think the
crazy part that you know is a little bit. You know,
probably something that's more interesting to the casual observer of
it is the differences in every single person that we've taken.
I mean, you're basically recruiting. If there's a thousand kids
in the portal, there's a thousand different types of student athletes,

(38:31):
you know, And whereas you know, there's a process usually
for a high school recruit, right, it starts in this
year and their junior year they do this, and then
you go spring recruiting, and then there's home visits at
this point, then there's signing day, and those kids are
usually very similar patterns and similar recruiting tactics. Whereas I
feel like most of the transfers we've taken have been
I mean, it's a whole new, unique snowflake of this

(38:53):
is this person, and this is this person because they
come from such different backgrounds. You know, we have student
aulets on our team from Division three schools, Division two schools, juco's,
Juco's from four different states. We've had kids who went
from junior college to four year schools to US, four
year schools to junior college to four year schools to US.
I mean, it's it's completely crazy. Then we have kids

(39:13):
from you know, FCS schools, FBS schools, Power for schools,
and so everybody's been through different experiences. Everybody's had, you know,
some guys have had a ton of film, some guys haven't,
you know, some guys have practice film. Some guys have
high school tapes still because you're recruiting, you know, like
Jojo Bermudez for example, I mean he didn't even play
in college. You know, he went to college and then

(39:35):
transferred to US without playing because he was injured, and
so like you're just recruiting him as a high school
player again. Would he be a take out of high school?
Absolutely right, he was. Whatever, he was a four star
recruit or something, we would have taken him. And so
then we have to find out, you know, for us,
the biggest difference, I don't know, I shouldn say difference.
The thing that is most important to us is the

(39:55):
off the field stuff. We can recruit the tangibles outstandingly,
going to recruit for character, and we're going to make
sure that this person is going to fit in our program.
And so will this person not only indoctrinate into what
we believe, but will they elevate our culture? You know,
these people that are going to continue to consider themselves

(40:15):
two years from now, great Blue Hen Ambassadors, are they
going to be coming back on homecoming here because this
is their place. And so we want people to, you know,
to really believe in what we're doing and where we're
going in the direction that we're in. And so that
takes a lot. It takes a lot of questions to
be asked, and there are gonna be times when we're
first on somebody. There's also gonna be times or worse,
we're dragging our feet on somebody because we want to

(40:37):
make sure that we're getting the right people in this
program because that's what's gonna help us win championships.

Speaker 2 (40:40):
Well, it seems like a lot. I know there's a
whole lot more, but you did a great job of
kind of describing that. Do you ever get any sleep
and the obviously what time when do coaches go to bed? Ever,
not not much. Yeah, yeah, if it's not film, it's
the portal, it's something. But I'll tell you what, all
of us we appreciate all that effort that that you
put in.

Speaker 4 (40:58):
That's for sure.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
And where exp to talk to one of those transfers
that came in this year, and Nate Evans will be here.
We'll take a time out, we come back, we'll talk
with him in ninety four to seven. W dst.

And Welcome back into Klondike Kates Restaurant and Saloon. Check
out the menu at Klondi Kates dot Com. I'm Scott
Klatskin and now join for the first time on the show.
Newcomer to Delaware quarterback Nate Evans. Give it up for Nate. Everybody.
Thanks for having me. Nate, thank you so much for
being here. Welcome to Delaware. How have you enjoyed your
your time in New Arc so far?

Speaker 19 (44:43):
I'm loving it so far. Man the school, the fan
based community, everybody's treating me. Every made me feel like home.
So I'm glad I came here. I'm glad I made
this decision.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
Well good, I'm glad. I wish our radio viewers could
see the smile on your face when I asked that question,
so you can tell you're generally enjoying your time here
with the Blue Hens so far, and we're enjoying a
watching you. You lead the team with five pass breakups
on the season. You have an interception on the season. Already,
take me through that outstanding interception that you had earlier
this year. It was it was just a fantastic play.

(45:17):
Take me through it out from your perspective.

Speaker 19 (45:20):
So the crazy thing about it was during that drive,
I actually gave up a catch, you know. So it's
kind of the side I live on. You gotta have
short term memory. Know, I played fifty snaps in the game.
I give up two bad I have two bad plays.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
You know.

Speaker 19 (45:37):
I'm still looking at those bad plays I gave them.
So it was kind of I give what that.

Speaker 4 (45:41):
Pass, you know.

Speaker 19 (45:42):
And we had caught a time out and I came
to the sideline. I'm just thinking to myself, I'm like, okay,
I'm like I know what he's gonna do.

Speaker 4 (45:48):
I'm like, I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna get him.

Speaker 19 (45:49):
So, you know, I seen information they came out in
and I kind of already knew what they was gonna
try to do. So, you know, I just I just
trusted my technique and did what I did know and
I played through the hands, you know, and I just
kind of seen the ball and I'm like, it's mine.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
Yeah, it came.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Up with it was fantastic hand eye coordination. I mean
it kind of ricocheted, I think right the wires. Stat
got his hand on a little bit, but you were
able to come up with it. So that's fantastic. It was,
I believe and correct me from your first interception since
twenty eighteen, your sophomore year of high school. Only not
for lack of talent, but just in twenty nineteen as

(46:28):
a high school junior, you were injured, is that correct?
And then twenty twenty comes around and you don't have
a season because of COVID, and then you play a
few games each season at an NC state. Now you're
in the mix of Delaware. How fun is it for
you to just be back to playing in games and
playing football and playing the game that you love here
at Delaware.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
I love it, you know.

Speaker 19 (46:48):
It just made me go back to my rooms, just
like my passion for the game of why I chose
to play this game, you know. So I love just
waking up every day going to practice, seeing my coach,
is seeing my teammates, you know, and just get into
it at every and each and every day.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Well, we're happy that you're here. Do you feel yourself,
you know, getting more game reps? Right, because that's the difference.
We practice it in game reps. As you get more
game reps, you fear yourself getting better and improving every
time you're out there. Yes, sir, of course.

Speaker 19 (47:16):
I always say practice makes perfect, so you know, so
I always try to home in on a different technique
every day that I want to work that I think
can help me on Saturday, you know. So if I
feel good about that, you know, I'll feel good good
about it during.

Speaker 2 (47:29):
The game where we are looking forward to you continuing
your career here at Delaware. Talk with Nate Evans. Team
I five pass breakups on the season, you have three
more than anybody else on the team. You're batting those
balls away, leading a Delaware in that category. No surprise though,
because you were a top seventy cornerback in the country
coming out of high school, so you are used to
the recruiting process of plenty of offers once you hit

(47:51):
the portal as well. We talked about that transfer portal
teams were after you. So how did you land on Delaware.
Why did you land on Delaware?

Speaker 19 (47:59):
So I have two older brothers, you know, and my
middle brother he had went through the same situation.

Speaker 2 (48:05):
He had hit the transfer portal.

Speaker 19 (48:06):
But one thing he told me that I had stuck
with me kind of was that whatever schools contact you first, like,
that's the schools that want you and you kind of
want to go where you want it and need it,
you know. So when I got the text from the coaches,
you know, I'm like, okay, And as overtime went, the
coaches and the coaching staff like they were very consistent,

(48:27):
you know. So as over time, I'm just thinking like, Okay,
this might be it.

Speaker 5 (48:31):
You know.

Speaker 19 (48:31):
So I came down here to a visit, to my
official visit, and I'm like, Okay, this might be home,
you know, but I couldn't really show it. But in
the back of my head, I'm I kind of knew.
I'm like, like I could see myself here, I could
see me making the plays, you know. So that's kind
of what it was.

Speaker 2 (48:46):
Well good, That's what I was trying to tell Coach
card You gotta be first, That's what I say, you know,
stop dragging you feet on some of these guys. You
got in first with Nayton and now he is uh here.
You did have three seasons at NC State. It's in
that research triangle NC State. You went se dude. Some
people say it's the best basketball in the country. You
get to go to any games when you're in NC State. Yes, sir,
you were able to to Now you were Were you

(49:06):
on campus for the Final four run or you were
you were here at Delaware?

Speaker 19 (49:10):
No, sir, I wasn't here all right.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
I was gonna say DJ Burns you could probably use
him on the offensive line. It's six ' nine to
seventy five. Could help everybody on the offense line. We're
glad that you're not there anymore. You're with the Blue Hens.
What if you like so far on campus or your teammates,
what if you enjoyed the most maybe your time here
at Delaware.

Speaker 19 (49:26):
The thing I love most about this team and my teammates,
you know, is that we're all super close. We're all compact,
you know, Like I can walk around the locker room,
I can talk to anybody. It doesn't matter like freshman, sophomore, junior, senior,
doesn't matter if they just got here or they've been here,
Like it like we all close knit, So you know,
that's one thing like I really took personal because I
could feel the love in the locker room. And I

(49:47):
think that having a good team, it starts from within,
you know, And if you have a good team that
can trust each other and love each other, then that
the results that a coach want is gonna follow.

Speaker 2 (49:57):
I got a feeling in some of that is coming
from you. You seem like somebody that could be approached
to by anybody. A great personality. We appreciate you coming
on the show. You mentioned as we get to our
final five questions, you have two older brothers that played
FBS football. What did you learn from them? A lot? Yeah,
too too broad of a question. How about on the
football field, any advice that they passed out about playing

(50:17):
at a high level.

Speaker 19 (50:18):
Yes, just not making the same mistakes twice. And if
you make a mistake, make a mistake going one hundred
per hour, you know.

Speaker 4 (50:25):
So I try.

Speaker 19 (50:26):
I watched my brother's tapes a lot, you know, and
I try to home in on the things they're good,
but also the things they didn't bad, you know, So
I'm not making the same mistakes when it is my
turn to go.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
So who talks more trash wide receivers or cornerbacks. I'm
sure they lead the team in that category on both ends.
Cornerbacks are wide receivers who like to say cornerbacks? Cornerbacks?
Do they back it up more than wide receivers? Got
to absolutely, well who is the best trash talker on
the team? Then I say me, yeah, exactly. Well, welcome,

(50:56):
that's fantastic that you take the title there. Your high
school was about six miles away from Virginia Beach. What's
your favorite thing about going to the beach.

Speaker 4 (51:06):
Just sitting in the sun.

Speaker 19 (51:07):
You know, I got two dogs at home, so I
love just taking them on the beach, just going for
walks and just laying down in the sun.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
Man, there you go. Good for you.

Speaker 2 (51:13):
Did you go to Virginia Beach a bunch growing up?

Speaker 19 (51:16):
Yes, sir, I live like five minutes from the beach.

Speaker 4 (51:17):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Well, I asked the same question to Brock that I'll
ask to you. Give me a defensive minded responsor this
time around. What does the team have to do to
bounce back and get a victory on Saturday?

Speaker 19 (51:29):
I think we just have to go home in on
our basics, just being committed, relentless and finishing.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
You know, just do what we do best.

Speaker 19 (51:36):
Do what we do we do to gotta to what
got us here, you know, So that's all we need
to do.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
Great answer. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys bounce
back against Albany and work your way towards the seven
and one record. But more importantly want to know on Saturday, Nate,
thank you so much for being on. Great to meet you,

The Blue Hens Football Coaches Show with Delaware head coach
Ryan Carty is presented by First State ORTHOPEDICX on ninety
four to seven WDSD and iHeartRadio live from Klondike Kate's Restaurant.

Speaker 2 (55:15):
And Saloon and welcome back into Klondike kate S. It's
the Blue Hens Football Coaches Show. Some great guests, says
always here tonight and that includes the head coach, Ryan
Cardi Coach Show. We are gonna wrap this show up
and get our fans and listeners ready for Albany and
So I'll start with that Albany defense. They always seem
to have guys with big numbers. Albany just always has.

(55:37):
It's Dante Loonin leading the team this year second in
the FCS in solo tackles. But you know, they had
Jared First, who was a first round pick in the
NFL this season, Dylan Kelly was Defensive Player of the Year.
Even go back guys like Nate to Tulsky, Mike Nicastro,
they always have just guys to put up numbers defensively.
What is it about their defense that allows uh for

(55:57):
guys to shine and do such a good job year
after year? It seems.

Speaker 5 (56:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (56:00):
I've played against them for quite some time now, you know,
and in the time when they started to get when
they got into the CIA, I was, you know, calling
plays against them when I was at New Hampshire and
and played them since and then watched them, you know,
uh in the last couple of years and finally getting
a chance to play them now as the head coach
of Delaware, and I think they uh the thing that
you see it comes across on tape. They have a
lot of confidence in what they do and the and

(56:21):
the you know, It's been passed down from you know,
a couple of coordinators over the years, but you know,
coach Catuso obviously has a hand in in the presence
in certainly the programmatic things that you can tell, you know,
really ring true in defense. You know, they're gonna play
really fast, really physical, they're fairly well but their sound
and you know, I think that they have this thing

(56:44):
about them where they're very confident and and they they
want to get after the quarterback like that's who they are,
it's who they've been. They really believe in in themselves
when it comes to that, they believe, uh, and that
is the way to help win a football game. And
and they've done it. I mean they have I think
sixteen sacks this year and eleven forced fumbles. I mean,

(57:04):
that's those statistics are are pretty impressive. And uh, you know,
I think you know, regardless of who's out there, you know, uh,
and and maybe even what kind of talent they have,
they've always been able to put up great defense at numbers.
And so obviously there's a programmatic belief in what they
do and uh, and it's probably just because they're really

(57:24):
well coached and sound and tough and they recruit really
well for their system.

Speaker 2 (57:27):
Brocks all fired up. He gave those sack numbers. He's
ready to protect his quarterback. He's all fired up. I
can see his eyes light up there over there at
the table. Let's talk. Let's talk about their offense. They
lose a guy like Reese Poffenberger who's down at Miami. Uh,
and he's behind he's not getting much burned under a
Heisman candidate in cam Ward down there in Miami. But
they do bring in a transfer quarterback from Wisconsin. They

(57:48):
featured a couple of different running backs seemingly at different
times throughout this season. They've got a pretty dangerous slot
wide receiver who comes from from Oregon. So, well, what
about this offense could be cause for cons for Delaware?

Speaker 3 (58:00):
Yeah, I think, you know, you see flashes for sure
of elite level talent, and I think that's something they
necessarily haven't put together every week. When they do, it
looks pretty special. And so I think that's what would
concern you, right is is putting it all together and
having a great game against you. Because they certainly have

(58:21):
the talent out there and and the coaching. We you know,
we know what they are capable of. And you know,
it's really about being disciplined and making sure that you know,
a player can beat you here and there, we got
to make sure that the team doesn't. And so you know,
we have to make sure that, you know, individually we
do our best and do our job, and then obviously
collectively run to the ball and good things are gonna happen.

Speaker 2 (58:44):
And you guys are undefeated at home this season. It
is the first of a three game homestand you guys
aren't on the road for another month from today. It's
gonna be a while. Saying that's not even too far
up the road, so you guys can get settled a
little bit. What do you tell you guys about just
getting this home stand off on the right.

Speaker 3 (59:01):
Nos, As you can imagine, it's really just about this
one for us, And you know it's uh, I mean
you just said that. It's the first time I thought
about it for a while, but it's awesome and I
can't wait to be home, and uh, in particular in
front of a homecoming crowd. And you know, I think
the games that we've won at home have have been
you know, because we've played really clean, because we felt

(59:22):
comfortable and because we've had an unbelievable fan base and
so that won't change.

Speaker 4 (59:27):
Uh. And luckily we get a chance to do it
this weekend against Albany.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
And can't wait to have an unbelievable crowd, great environment.
Can't wait to see all you guys and and and
obviously everybody coming back. And you know I you know,
as a person who just loves this place and and
it is my home to the core. I love when
we have a chance to invite everybody back.

Speaker 4 (59:49):
That also feels that way.

Speaker 2 (59:50):
And I should say we've got Matt from a Delaware
heiring company here. They sponsored the uniform report each week,
and so I should say for all fans, I know
they're always very concerned about we We'll be wearing blue
and yell the traditional jerseys everyone I know, everyone loves
I don't. I hear more about the jersey combinations than
anything else. So it'll be a traditional homecoming fit on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
They're all thrilled about that we got an appointment on Friday.
Right here we go. All right, I'll see you there.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
That's said book it. We are looking forward to homecoming.
Always a fun week, always a fun weekend, and always
fun watching you guys play. We look forward to the
game on Saturday at three o'clock against Albny.

Speaker 4 (01:00:28):
