I'm going to tell you where I bought the tickets.
So when it's announced that somebody at Circus Liquor in
North Hollywood is the winner, it's your boy, Ted Striker.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I like the sound of that Circus Liquor. That sounds
dumpy and.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
You need it not but you know Circus Liquor though, yeah,
no exactly, but it sounds dumpy. Is the point, because
whenever you're listening to the news, it's always like, you know,
Dave's cigar and uh tobacco and Tim bucktoo, and Tim
bucktoo is the winner. Circus sounds pretty uh pretty like
you got a chance.

The guy behind the counter when I said can I
get three rows of tickets please, He's like, let's make
us famous. I said, I really like that plan. I
like that attitude, even though Circus liquor has been in
some movies. But that's what I was thinking, And so
I responded with are you the owner? Yes, I am
no kidding, and I started clapping. You know when you
get blackjack and all five. I'm like, let's do this,

pat Riley. He's a Laker legend. He coached like the

Laker legend. And while he's not been with the Lakers
in a long time, the Knicks and the Miami Heat, he's
so loved out here.

I think it's a good move that the Lakers are

giving you Oasis tickets next week with Booker and Striker
and The Woody Show and Kristal Lemon. They are launching
a pop up store in La on August twentieth. And
this is what you get at the pop up store.

We've seen some of this stuff. It's so nice. Our

the shows are going incredibly well, but this collaboration with
Adidas seems way out of left field. And it's so good.

They're geniuses.

They're like Taylor Swift level geniuses.

Slowly they sound really good. Yeah, I think people are
going to Oasis shows. You know that some of the
prices are really crazy, but just to say that you
went to an Oasis show, right, They're one of those
bands in twenty years from now you want to tell everybody, Yeah,
I saw always.

But it's while the crowds are like jumping up and down,
like you know, raging against the machine shows, and these
are you know, guys in their forties, fifties, whatever, jumping around.
I heard that they're they're giving away water because a
lot of old guys are getting the hundred.

of some Grammys Carol g very very talented, very popular. Yes,

she is doing she's doing the halftime show Angels swept
the Dodgers as you now, as I predict her and

They're called Almost Monday Hooker and Striker screw. That is
almost Friday on Saturday. We're having a pool party at Yamavon.

New Heights the podcast Jason and Travis Kelcey, how many
followers have they gotten in the last I know that's

had two thousand new followers the previous twenty eight days. Okay,

and they did the podcast together in a debut last night.

New people now following the podcast. I would say it's
something obscene, like two hundred and fifty thousand people more
more Wow, the.

Last forty eight hours, three hundred and twelve eight hundred
new followers. Next question, The Taylor Swift on the Jason
and Travis Kelcey podcast dropped twenty two hours ago on
YouTube full length. It's very long. Just on the full
length interview the chat they did? How many views on YouTube?

And the fans are picking this thing apart because they're

a bunch of different philosophies.

theories online. I was like, we should even pull her

the Sphere. Right, that's what I'm I'm getting back in
my wheelhouse right now. But how about all those views
we got? She moves the needle more than anybody, but
probably in the last twenty years.

It's truly unbelievable.

people are lazy. And I'm saying lazy, lazy striker.

So I go to Whole Foods and I.

Want to paint you the picture because you know it
across the street there's an escalator that when you leave,
it's a sort of at a slant.

It's not very steep.

But it is you know, it's there's no steps, it's
just a conveyor belt almost you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
Every there else it's a people mover.

It's a people mover right, and it's.

Got it's like at a twenty degree slant, barely a
slant right and very rubbery. By the way, if you
noticed how rubbery the surface is.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
I did not notice that. Probably for grip, I imagine,
so they don't get sued. But there are three people
and there, I would say, they're all under the age
of twenty five in front of me. Don't you think
people should be walking on that thing?

Speaker 4 (08:07):
Did they have a cart with them? Now? Because the
carts on that conveyor belt will not roll, you cannot
push them, so no cart. Yes, you should walk a
little bit.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Do people think it's a ride at Disneyland? It's like walk,
it's not a resting spot. You just walked around the store.
You can walk down the conveyor belt. I think people
are just ultimately lazy.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Or you just get in the right hand lane of
the conveyor belt. You can do it and just walk
right by on the left.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
All three people were right there in the middle, like
just standing there, standing there.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
I don't get that. I'm not a fan of doddling,
as you know that. It's one of my favorite words, doddlers.
I don't like doddlers and doddling, especially at an airport
and on one of those people movers conveyor belt things.
If you don't have a cart, take short, slow steps
and you'll be surprised how fast you're right. It's kind
of like ice skating on those things.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Do people need to rest after all that walking around
the grocery store? I mean, once you get to the bottom,
you then have to walk to your car. I just
don't understand the laziness of people.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Just because it's moving you, it doesn't mean you have
to let it move you one hundred percent. How about
that conveyor belt, it's twenty four to seven.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
If you are under the age of let's just say
it in one hundred and seven, it's fine walk walk,
it's not a ride.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Or if you want to let the conveyor belt do
all the work for you, lazy, move to the right
right and let the non doddlars go by.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
Don't stand there like cattle in the middle. Is it
okay to give them one of those when they're you know, walking.

Speaker 4 (09:38):

Have been smelling good for at least thirty five years,
So I'm gonna say thirty five.

You know what, I'll give it to you even though
it's forty. The best smelling item in the world everybody
knows is a Cinnabon, and I want to let everybody
know that they're going to celebrate their fortieth anniversary with
prices from nineteen eighty five. Real that would get me
into a Cinnabon and go grab one. It's only for
one day, for four minutes during the day, it's the
entire day. August twenty second, a dollar twenty five for

there's about seven to eight dollars.

memoir Fahrenheit one eighty two that'll drop November eighteenth.

second book of photographs. There's a signed Mark Hoppus print
and a one two guitar pick very rare that he's
going to throw ink for Mark Hoppus. And I just

the book.

Marty's Supreme is the name of the movement movie Timothy Shallomey.
The teaser dropped today When I tell you the plot,
you're gonna say, I don't know, but the trailer is awesome.
It takes place in the nineteen fifties and the Timothy
Shallome character is chasing a dream to become a professional
ping pong player.
