Speaker 1 (00:01):
Do you all new All Book Striker podcast? All right,
here we go Booker and Striker locked in on All
ninety eight seven. Weirdly enough, not planned, we played Joe
on the radio. Strangely, he's in the room with Booker. Strangely,

(00:22):
I did not even pick up on that.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Horsetmate ultimate tie in.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
What'd you think about hearing your song in a radio
station blasting on level seven out of ten for the
last two minutes.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
I gotta say it is not lost on you. How
funny and weird it is. The song barely made the
record and to hear it on the radio is still
like crazy. How so well, it's just like, I don't know,
it's like this little pet project that you work on
and you know, eventually it kind of like leaves, you know,
kind of leaves your hands and then it goes out.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Into the world.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Did you not like it?

Speaker 4 (00:57):
No, not that he didn't like it, just said it
was kind of like a last minute, like we needed
one more song, and.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
It's just kind of funny.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
If you would have you know, been asked before all
of this, out of all of the songs on the album,
which one do you think could have been or should
have been on the radio or you would have led
with yourself. You know, I'm not the asked.

Speaker 4 (01:21):
I feel like I'm not very good at choosing a
single obviously, so we just let U let out of
other people do that. I feel like also in this
day and age, if a song is gonna like do well,
you know, people can kind of like find these songs
a little bit more easily now and they can like
use them in ways that they couldn't before. I think
like that's kind of like the beauty of TikTok. I
guess is that people if they're into something, they can

(01:42):
kind of like use it so and share it. So, yeah,
it's the world we live in.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
That's the voice of Joe Carrey from Stranger Things and
of course the artist Joe dj O, fresh off his
performance last Friday at Coachella.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
I was there. It was awesome, all.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Right, Listen, I'm exhausted from going. I didn't even do
anything there except walk around. How are you feeling?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Man? There was a layer of dust.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I think within.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
One's it could look like a dusty year though no
it didn't. I but it was also that day was hot.
I was when we arrived.

Speaker 5 (02:13):
We woke up.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
We drove all night because we played in Oakland the
night before. Woke up there opened the bus door and
it was like baking. So I instantly just thought of
all the people camping and just you know, just all
the young people.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I don't know, I've been. I've camped at.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
A festival before, back in the day, and it's hot
and unpleasant.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
This is your you said bus, this is your first bus.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Yeah, we have a bus.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
What's the bus like? The bus is like everything you
thought it would be, or it is a kind of sock.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
I gotta tell you, it's actually amazing. It's like it's
like a barracks. It's you know, there's a lot of guys.
There's you know, nine ten guys, and what we keep
it clean. We have a no shoe policy.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
No sho no tool policy.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
No, they're oh, yeah, that's a that's an unspoken policy. Okay,
We've got a very good bus captain. Teddy Matthews, who
plays drums in the band, is our bus captain. So
he keeps it very he keeps us in line. He's
our real sergeant.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Do you find it easy or difficult when you're on
the road to be healthy? Because when I drive to Vegas,
I've driven an Idaho.

Speaker 5 (03:12):
I love truck stops.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
I love picking up crap along the way. I'm not
doing shows like are you making? Are you enjoining? Cruising
around the country.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
So far we are all ginger shots, we're all hydration. Yeah,
we are pretty. We're pretty, you know, pretty group of
good guys. So we're not having We're not going too crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know where I thought Striker was going with that
was away bowl? Like are you you got home bowl advantage?
You know what I mean? On the road and you
can't go on the bus like the army do you do?
You kind of just learn how to like, you know
what gotta go.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
You gotta go sink or swim man swim.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
So what are you doing the rest of today? In LA?
You want to like come over and watch TV? You're
like like what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Like, what are you doing?

Speaker 4 (03:56):
I'm gonna see my friend Neil, who is from Atlanta.
I'm gonna go to a shop with my pal Jake.
I might see some friends. We're gonna get up early
and we're cruising back out to coach. Also, the plan
for today is to just relax and have a nice day.
And maybe take a little hike or something.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Nice, very good Joe Kerrey.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Everybody go, Joe Carrey, thanks for joining us, for having me.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Thank you. Two days in a row.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
We had Jared letters at this time yesterday exact same time,
and now we have Joe Kerry on with us.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Today Weekend number two which will be streaming this weekend
on YouTube. Again if you want to see him live
and check out the performance or maybe you're actually going.
I have one last question finally.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
You had told us before that you do watch Stranger
Things and your family watches.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Do they like the music more than the show? Where
do they fall when it comes to you and your art?

Speaker 5 (04:46):
Is there one they like more?

Speaker 4 (04:47):
A man, they've been so supportive, honestly, and I feel
like every step of the way they've just been Yeah,
in my corner.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Do they come to your shows? And do you like
when they're there?

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
You get nervous, Yeah, nervous.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
And my dad has given me some really good edits
for lyrics and record you know, order suggestions.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
He'll be like really good to know.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah, or even on the album.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
When we were doing the album, I would send him
the music all my family, and they had some great
notes and stuff.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Give us two sentences on basic being basic. We're about
to play that Joe in with Booker and Striker.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Sure, it's just, I guess, kind of like a challenge
to myself and to anyone else to be as basic
as possible.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
Basic being basic.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Here we go, Tuna, Fish, Booker and Striker a couple
letting it's Booker and Striker hanging out with you today.
It is all ninety eight seven. Thanks for punching in, Striker.
With everything happening in the world.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
When the NFL Draft begins next week, the La Rams,
I don't know if you heard about this. They're converting
a room at the LA Fire Department's Air Operation site
to serve as the team's draft headquarters. The air Operation
site is still going to be right, but the Rams,
to show their appreciation for the Fire Department, we'll have

(06:05):
their headquarters there.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I wasn't looking at it that way. I was like,
I was like, what's the advantage of that. It's more
of just like showing them some love.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
And it's already I'm sure exciting around those parts for
a variety of reasons. But to have the Rams in
there an NFL team, And then Sean McVay already said,
I don't know before the first day or second day,
meet and greet, hang out, look at the chalkboard, get
behind the scenes. So that's happening next week neat. And

(06:33):
of course we're the home for the Chargers, the fantastic.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Four, such enthusiastic, the fantastic.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Jim harblas got some khakis on. I love Jim Harbaugh.
Come on, Harbaugh, let's go. We got who's the quarterback? Herbert?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Justin Herbert, six foot six, great hair, no playoff wins.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Let's go.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Maybe he's got playoff wins. Hey, what happened in that
one game?

Speaker 3 (06:59):
But we were at Alter Ego and the Chargers were
up by like thirty, and you said to me.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Striker Chargers gonna win this playoff game.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
You and I went to do some on stage announcement,
and I'm like, Booker, what are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (07:10):
They lost? Do you remember that?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
No, Justin Herbert has not wonof.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
So I was right, Booker corrected me incorrectly.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
I thought that they had Wait a minute, he won
a wild card game a couple of years ago, didn't.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Maybe that's the one they were up by like twenty
points or something, twenty seven nothing. I think probably playing
like Jacksonville or Caroline or something.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Am I right? Who are they playing.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Jacksonville Jaguars twenty seven nothing? How about that? Yeah?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
I remember that, Yes they did.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Well, that's why they bought Jim Harbor and I love Harball, gotcha?

Speaker 5 (07:41):
Well?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Him and I so back in nineteen ninety four, Harbor
and I used to go to a TGI Fridays together
and get those hurricane drinks.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
He was so fun, good guy.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
The Fantastic four four Steps trailer dropped today. Our uncle
Pedro Pascal is in it. Julie Garner also the dude
from the Bear, not the main star, but the cousin,
Evon Moss back Rock cousin, who is like that guy's
on fire right now?

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, that guy's good. He's the best part of the Bear.
If you ask me. I love him.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Here's a story which again I forgot if this was
on air yesterday or off, so sorry if I already
mentioned this, But the new robotaxis that Amazon is testing
on our streets this summer? Did you know that's happening
with the small fleet of cars. Now here's something that
I didn't get them, like, how do they map out
the city. There's gonna be safety drivers in the cars
in the beginning to manually map the city, and then

(08:34):
eventually those safety drivers will be out of there, okay,
And so that's going to be happening this summer on
the streets of Los Angele.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Don't they just borrow the stuff from Google Maps? You
know they got those Google cars that drive around with
the camera on the top and they check out your neighborhood.
Just ask them for their stuff.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Well, I believe those are two separate, multi multi zillion
dollar companies.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
That's what I mean. Somebody's already done the legwork. Just
say hey, hey, Google, hook us up, let me browse cars.
We borrow your maps.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Angel are in Texas. The La Kings play the Flames.
Also the Kings kickoff hopefully a nice Stanley Cup run
of their first playoff game will be Monday at seven pm.
Go Kings, Go, I'm Striker. That's all I got.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
It's Spooker and Striker, Booker and Striker on All ninety
eight seven. You're minutes away from the Woody Show's takeover
of California Adventure Park. We have five passes coming up.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
Is there a.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
Brand out there that you would be sad if they
ragged on you? Because, as you know by now, Wendy's
put out this tweet about Katy Perry when she got
back to space, and it was basically, can we.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
Send her back?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Like?

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Why did Katy Perry get this shrapnel from Wendy's? And
I don't know if she cares about Wendy's. But there
are some brands out there that all of a sudden
they kind of threw some shade my way.

Speaker 5 (09:49):
It'd be a little sad.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Right. There's a a Jeep commercial now that has Harrison
Ford in it.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
Yes, I love that.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
I love the commercial and the final line is like
you know, he says, and my last name's Ford. You
know It's it's like, oh, it's the ultimate like shade.
You know. I love that it's patty. I think it's great.
But if like Jeep ragged on me for something, I
would be heartbroken. I love Jeeps, love my Jeep.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
What about you if Fat Burger? No, what's if the
City of Las Vegas just said who knows?

Speaker 5 (10:29):
Whatever?

Speaker 3 (10:29):
They but it's just something that was smarty or smarmy.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I got it in Vegas or what happens in Vegas
stays in Vegas. But we wish Striker would stay home.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Yeah, I would never come back here anymore, so Booker.
So my list is fat Burger.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
I'd be sad.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
I'd be sad if the city of Las Vegas said something.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
Uh, I know the restaurant that has ten thousand cheesecake factor,
if they hated you.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
If you put I ever put out anything, I would.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
Know that would just be the worst.

Speaker 5 (11:01):
Do you think Katy Perry? Who you know?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
She's a zillionaire, she went to Space, She's got so
many fans, She's been famous for a long time. Do
you think she at all is phased by the Wendy's tweet?
Because I have a take on it, but I.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Will know yours. Here's the thing. I think it's such
a pylon. I think so many other people like to
get a little deeper in the bushes and the weeds
of this. Kesha went to Wendy's because she doesn't like
Katy Perry, and she posted her having a or she
posted herself having a frosty. You know what I mean.
It's like a lot of people are attacking all of

(11:41):
those ladies and and mostly it's other ladies. It's other
women that are attacking. So it's fun to sit on
the beach on this one and just be like, hey,
you popcorn, I'm not gonna get involved.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Yeah, I'm not getting involved either, but I just like,
I believe Katy Perry can read a thousand negative things
and be fine. But that Wendy right, like right, so random,
some random woman in Utah doesn't like it.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
She doesn't care.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
But it's like, oh, Wendy's just sending me back to space.
What did I do? Kenny? Just keep me there and space?

Speaker 1 (12:20):
What that wasn't space? Yeah? That was space light?

Speaker 5 (12:25):
Okay, right, that was not space.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
It was a diet space, diet space.

Speaker 5 (12:30):
We just said we weren't gonna say anything.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Well, I guess we did give us long enough with
the leash. We will hang ourselves. Let me tell you
it's Booker and Striker. It is all ninety eight seven,
Booker and Striker. Booker and Striker, it is all ninety
aged seven on the iHeartRadio app and of course on
the good Old radio as well. Thank you for joining us,
Striker right there. With everything happening in the world.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I've been following the Menendez brothers case since the day
had happened. I'm born and raised in LA and I
will keep discussing it until this case is completely finished.
There's more new today when it comes to Eric and
Lyle Booker. They had a recentence seen hearing today in
Los Angeles. They were not in court, but they were
on the TV. They were beamed in via satellite from jail.

(13:12):
The hearing ended for the day, but will not be
continued on Friday as originally scheduled. The next hearing will
be on May ninth and will address the admissibility of
a risk assessment report. So Mark Garrigos very famous attorney.
He represents the two brothers. He is expected to file
for the LA County District Attorney. That's Nathan Hawkman. Everybody

(13:33):
knows he's the new LA disspict attorney. He wants him
personally recused from the case. Why Hawkman grew up in
Beverly Hills. He also went to the same high school
as Manetta's brothers. And there's we can get deep into
the weeds. I went to law school, I didn't decide
to take the bar, so I don't want to get
too deep into it. But May ninth is the next

(13:55):
day where something potentially could happen.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
That is an interesting point. It really is can you
be too close to something like that here in Los Angeles?
But then again, if any court case is tried in
your town, it's a jury of your peers and it
is people from Los Angeles. So I don't know what's
the difference.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
Listen, we could go on and on about this, but
I want to get into the five second rule.

Speaker 5 (14:19):
Food falls on the floor.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Okay, let's talk about that.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
A scientist and this has been happening for years. Everybody
knows the five second rule. If you drop food on
the ground, if you pick it up within five seconds,
not enough bacteria will be on the food to affect you,
so you just eat it right away. So this microbiologists
tested the five second rule and this person said it's

(14:42):
total bs. Of course, the person the scientists dropped the
food on the floor and every single time it developed
a ton of bacteria.

Speaker 5 (14:51):
Whether it's for one second or one minute.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
See, I was going to say, I always thought the
five second rule was rubbish. If it was like a
one second rule, like it just almost even bounces, I
was like, it's.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Fine, right See to me, the one second rule seems fine.
I think I'm like a zero second person.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
To be honest.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
Yeah, if my silverware at a restaurant goes from napkin
to table before I wipe the little part of the
table off with the napkin to put the silverware, I'm
on tilt the rest of the Oh.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Absolutely. Speaking of meals.

Speaker 5 (15:26):
How about a broccoli cheddar pazuki?

Speaker 3 (15:30):
You know who created the pazuki at Bjay's Giggity of
the restaurant in Bruehaus, there's one here in Burbank.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
Yeah, like the ice cream they're famous for that dessert.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
The pazuki is a dessert zuki.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Yes, it's a dessert.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (15:41):
So the broccoli cheddar pazuki is the following and they're
getting a lot of action online with this, and for.

Speaker 5 (15:47):
Them, I love that place.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
It's a broccoli cheddar cookie on the bottom and then.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Two perfect scoops.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Of mashed potatoes that look like vanilla ice cream, and
then there's cheddar sauce drizzling on top of all of that.
This sounds horrendous. And I'm a big BEJ fan, if
you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
I love so this does not sound good to me.
What about you.

Speaker 1 (16:12):
It sounds great to me. It's absolutely sounds great. I
love broccoli and potatoes and gravy and all mashed together
like that. That sounds great.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Now, I will give them on their presentation because I've
been staring at the photo and a.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
Plus, neither one of you have. Neither one of us
has eaten today, though, so we'd probably eat just about anything.

Speaker 3 (16:33):
I did not eat since yesterday. I had a great
ravioli meal, home cooked, thank you, Britt. And then I
had to starve myself for a physical today and give
all these vials of blood then speed here, and then
we got to interview Joe.

Speaker 5 (16:44):
I'm about to.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Kill over on the air.

Speaker 5 (16:45):
You guys help me out.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, I have no excuse. I worked this morning and
I just did not have time to eat. I ran
in here and there you go, I'm starving.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
You didn't have time to eat?

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I did not.

Speaker 5 (16:55):
How do you not have time?

Speaker 1 (16:56):
I didn't have time. I walked the dogs, I did
a podcast, I had to do another show. I came
in for that interview. I just did not have time
to eat today.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Fair enough, fair enough, you get that, thank you, you know.
Jared Leto was on with us yesterday Booker and Striker Instagram.
It's a great little video there. They are doing a
show at the Form on August sixteenth. It's one night only,
celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the album A Beautiful Lie,
and we'll be giving away tickets on the Instagram page.
Actually on ninety eight seven FM Instagram.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
I think there's a pre sale and if you you know,
are eligible to get those tickets. However, the pre sale
is done, you could get some tickets if you don't
want to wait till tomorrow morning or new or win
them on the Instagram. Yeah, win them there.

Speaker 3 (17:36):
So go to the nine seven FM Instagram. You don't
have to follow that, but then go to Booker and
Striker and give me some follow my boss, our boss
who we loved.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
You're like, what what's going on Instagram? Which is actually
we're doing pretty good.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
Sorry, Yeah, we're up to two point five million listen follow.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
Thank you for all two of you.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
We've been showing to a lot of thirst traps lately
on there. Shirtless pantless, it's wonderful. We're doing Feet of five.
Angels are in Texas. The King's La Kings are playing
The Flames.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Where they Calgary.

Speaker 5 (18:08):
I think.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
The Hollywood Flow.

Speaker 5 (18:13):
Okay, I'm striker.

Speaker 4 (18:15):
The Afternoons and striker on.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
Hooker Striker Lincoln Park, Heavy is the Crown is on
all ninety eight seven.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
My question for everybody is the following. So I went
to the doctor to day. It was a physical and
guess what he told me when they took the blood.
I'm wondering if you watch the needle go in, or
if you keep your head turned the entire time when
they take the blood, and they did either four or
five vials of it, and in between they need to
take one off and move the other. And do you

(18:46):
look at it filling up? So there's like two questions
in one there.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
That's simple. I never look that direction. I have mastered
the yard of somehow looking forward and almost looking like
I'm kind of staring at my arm, but I'm not.
I'm literally looking in another direction. It's not that I'm squeamish.
It's not that blood even bothers me or anything like that.

(19:11):
It's just seeing that needle go into that vein.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
No, thank you, Okay, there is a sick o part
of me that enjoys seeing it go in. Really, but
I don't and I don't care about blood. The pain
is zero percent. But I get there's like I can't
believe that's my arm, that this nurse is sticking that needle.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
And I get a little bit of a rush.

Speaker 3 (19:37):
And then I do the turnoway oh, and I'm like, okay,
I got it. I know what's happening here. And every
now and then I'll do a glance like it's the sun,
a little peak and turn away. When she, it was
a she this morning was changing the vials. And then
what I loved is they put that rubber band on
your arm, you know what I'm talking about, And her
form was just exquisite. She had the needle in the

(19:59):
arm and then with one arm took that thing off
and it was like an explosion of excitement.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
That snap after the fact. What weirds me out is
sometimes when you have a physical and they do so
many vials and then you think about, like all that's gone,
Am I gonna be okay? I walk out of here
like you just took a pint of blood.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
I have one more question for you, and it had
to do with at the doctor's office. Before I left,
they said, oh, you need to hope this isn't TMI
for everybody?

Speaker 5 (20:26):
You need to leave it.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
You're example, she says, don't fill it all the way up.
She hands me at napkin. I'm like, what's this for?
It's like to clean yourself off and I and I
wanted to say, we don't need I can hold it
in the middle, not comfortable, but I can stop on
command and then start again. Yeah, but I did, and
I took that napkin threw it away when I went

(20:47):
in there.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
But what did they think happens with us? I don't
Did they think we don't have the control to do
the dead stop on that?

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Correct? That's what I think.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
So then we're gonna whip out some napkin, right?

Speaker 5 (20:56):
It was like one of those napkins.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
It's one of those long paper towels. Yes, yeah, they
give you one of those. Like, what are you supposed
to do with that?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Mate?

Speaker 1 (21:04):
You know what I know what to do with it.
You always wrap the it's to wrap the cup with
a I asked the question booker. I couldn't help myself.
And then here's something else. You want to talk about?
Pressure stopping halfway in that cup? That is because I'm
not holding it at eye level. It's down below below

(21:25):
my waist.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
As everybody knows, not very far below the waist. But
I'm like judging and once you stop, it's one stop.
You gotta stop to start up again, and then the drip.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
See, I never go in fully loaded, like prepared for that.
I think I could go whenever. Like I think I
could go right now and give you the perfect amount
that would go into that cup without even asking. If
you handed me that, that Dixie cup whatever it is, yes,
that plastic whatever, I think I could fill it exactly
to the line.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Even more pressure and be finished. That's see, that's a skill.
Put that on your resume.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Now, how do I print that out?

Speaker 4 (22:02):
Wait?

Speaker 5 (22:02):
I have one more quick thing.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
We got twenty of twisting the cap on the urine lid.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
It wasn't a smooth twist, you know. Sometimes when you
twist it like clicks clicks list, you have to like
really find the groove. Found the groove, open him a
secret window and placed it there and walk the hell out.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
And how careful are you when you put it in?
At it? Drop right? Fine, China, But thanks for listening
to this Hall of Fame show booker and striker booker
and Striker get that payment in Now Boys, Booker and
Striker All Night Lock. I totally forgot that I won
our NCAA bracket pool between.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
A djul from me and ten bucks from Regulate Hot
twenty coming in Baby, Coming your way, Booker. We're gonna
be at Dave and Buster Saturday from two to four pm.
This is Striker speaking here. We have a producer named
DJ Regulate. He's a DJ in Long Beach. He's a
great producer. He's a Latino fabio. He says he's great
at Papa Shot.

Speaker 1 (22:58):
I didn't say all that you did.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
He doesn't argue if you said you're great or not.
He wants he wanted to challenge me and Papa Shot.
And I would like to accept that challenge and do
it at Davenbusters, but I would like we need some steaks.
We can't just say, oh, we're gonna play Papa Shot.
I'm looking at him and I don't know if he's
hustling me because I'm am I good at Papa Shot.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
He's magnificent. Thanks to the point when we spoke about it,
we never played Papa Shot before, and he told me
on the air like he was bragging about it. Right,
and I was like, typical Striker, he's great at everything.
He went to school for nine hundred years for every
different thing in the world. No way. So we go
out to some event somewhere and he's just drilling them.
And by the way, he was even going up against

(23:41):
like our old boss, just taking him down, didn't even
care how wesh.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
Swish, and he kept wanting to go, let's do another round.

Speaker 1 (23:48):
And I got fired after Striker beat him up like that.
I think he did embarrassment, rand him out of here.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
So regulate, Yes, how good are you?

Speaker 1 (23:57):
And Papa shot before before you answer, I want to
remind you the conversation, Striker, because I don't believe you
remember the conversation at all. Our conversation on the radio
was is there anything you're really good at? That's kind
of shocking that nobody else is. And he waddles in
here and he's like, I'm really great at Papa show.

(24:18):
That's the conversation. And then I was like, remember that.
That's how it went down. So now he's you're being
hustled because now he just went backwards and said I
never said that, and I forget everything about my idea
recalled that that was the topic conversation.

Speaker 3 (24:33):
Striker said he was really good at Papa shot, and
I said I was going to say the same thing.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Oh, you're right. He did say that. He said, you
stole my answer because I'm great at it too.

Speaker 3 (24:43):
How about this, let's just go head to head. We're
going to be at David Busters two to four on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Go ahead, are we going to do a one off?

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Or I think it's out of three or three out
of five or something?

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Right?

Speaker 1 (24:56):
Three out of five?

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Yeah, three out of five.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
You guys a gonna be shooting all day.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
It's one minute. Did you bank it in?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
It depends? I don't know. Yeah, I don't know if
I do either.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
I think I'm a banker. Yeah, I think I'm a banker.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Regulate or actually, let's ask Chris Booker. What should they not.

Speaker 5 (25:15):
A money wager?

Speaker 1 (25:17):
That's dumb.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
It should be like food. It should be like a
bottle of something or something embarrassing. What should we wager
on this?

Speaker 5 (25:24):
And who are you picking?

Speaker 1 (25:26):
Oh? Man, I've seen you shoot? But then I swear
I think he's kind of hustling. I got this weird feeling.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
He's very good at a lot of things.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
He could get in your head too.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
No, that's not gonna help.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (25:43):
I don't get nervous at those things.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
I just thought about the psychological game.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
You think it is.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Yeah, barking up the wrong psychological head tree, my man, Giggy,
take you down, Take me down.

Speaker 1 (25:59):
I don't know. I mean, I I want to wait,
I want to kind of read him a little more, Striker,
I'm not you want to.

Speaker 5 (26:05):
Read him a little more?

Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah, because I already know you're good. I just don't
know if he's a ringer here. I mean, I want
to get a bed into I want to be able
to you know, we should have a whole tournament there. Look,
David Busters and Torrents. We're doing this this weekend, Saturday,
Saturday two to four. Yeah, he's so.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
He's like, look at this guy.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
I know, he's got this s eating smile, like he's
gonna school you.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
You know what, he's trying to be, Like Denzel Washington,
the quietest person in the room is the strongest. We listen,
we have Mike's we're doing a radio show. We can't
be silent over here.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Like you cool like.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
A cucumber, Yeah, yeah, cucover right, cool like an egg plant.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
He's sitting there like you just ate the canary, telling
you the cat that ate the canary.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
You gotta wear your Kobe jersey for this.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Please dress. I wear a headband, me too. Booker Striker
