now is our good friend Bill Martinfrom the Lamphoma Society. Bill, how
you doing. I'm doing great,Bill. We got some big events coming
up before we get to that,though, If you would a brief background
yourself, I understand you had abattle yourself. Yeah. So I got
involved in this not out of choice. In twenty ten. I was diagnosed

with leukemia and I had a bonemarrow transplant in June of twenty ten.
And if you survive two years aftera bone marrow transplant, because it is
about a coin flip chance, butif you survive your officially survivor, you're
not in remission, you're actually curedbecause at that point they say something else
will get you. So I gotsomebody else's bone marrow in my system,

change my blood type. I hadto get you know, all new vaccines
sort of start fresh, Okay,And so I've just been, you know,
one of those fortunate people who madeit through one of those eye openers.
And that's how you became involved withthe Leukemia Numphoma Society. That's correct.
Okay. Now, speaking of which, as I mentioned, we've got
two events that are going to benefitthe Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. So let's

talk about those though. We gotthe South Texas Cancer Shootout, yes so,
and that takes place on May seventh. We're gonna have a nine am
kickoff. Get they get the gunsblazing. We're going to be in a
really neat place near Encino at theGlick Ranch. If you know my friends
over at Glick Twins. Yes,Bob and Alicia Glick offered to host.

And he's just got the coolest setup. You know that area in and Sino
that's got the sort of rolling areawith oak trees and mesquite and it's just
sort of that it feels a littlehill country in South Texas's Bob's an excellent
shooter and he's got dozens and dozensof these throwers out there and just sets
up cool targets and we get todrive from one area to another and just

have a blast pardon the pun,breaking targets. It'll be fun. Now,
this particular event takes place when andMay seventh. May seventh, which
is a Sunday in the morning,and so you can go to llls key
for a Cure dot Com and that'llactually take you to our fundraising page and
so if you would, you canmake a donation there. So there's different

sponsorship levels, or five thousand dollars, you can get two teams and lots
of other great goodies and stuff andprovide a golf card side by side whatever
you need to to get around theranch. Silver sponsor will get you one
team. Bron sponsors fifteen hundred dollarsfor a team, and then there are
individual tickets if you if you wantto put together a team, you know,
you you and three other buddies canput together a team. So that's

a team sponsor of seven fifty.A station sponsors three hundred bucks. So
there's you know, a lot ofdifferent ways to participate in this thing.
Our friends at Barbecue De's are goingto be making the meal that day.
Kind enough to to step up tothe plate for that. There'll be some
prize money. It's just going tobe a great time. And then then
you mentioned that before that, actuallyThursday, May fourth, we're having rock

and Tacos, so it being theday before Cinco de Mayo, we're going
to have a little Mexican inspired celebrationwith gourmet tacos made by some awesome restaurants
that are going to be putting togethersome some special stuff. So Bodega,
the Delgado's Espagna, Tac Ocean,which is a new a new place that
we're all gonna need to go checkout once once those doors are open,

Azzoli's Neuri. We're gonna have somelocally made wine. I don't know if
you know Turner right, doctor Turnerright, he's in your nose and throat
doctor. Him and his wife Ninahave been producing grapes and now making wine
near Lafaria. That and then HowlingRabbit which rabbits is a new brew house.
It's in North McAllen. Gonna opentheir doors soon and so we're gonna

have local beer, local wine,local restaurants, local band. My my
buddy Doug Martin at Martin Farman RanchSupply. Yes, he's got a group
of great guys who get together andplay, and so we'll have live music.
Jamie Yees as a good, greatguy with the guitar. He can
really he's got an amazing voice.He's gonna be playing. So it'll be

a beautiful night outdoors under the starson some little hills that we that we
live on outside of Edinburgh. SoI'd like to invite folks to participate in
