(00:00):
So then I said, what aboutbreakfast at Siceny's. Well, that's one
thing. We got time to sitback, relax and indulge in your weekly
tea. Welcome to breakfast at Sicinys. Okay, I felt like that was
a short week. But we're backagain. Well did we do the episode
later last week? We did?Okay, that's why. That's why,
(00:21):
Hi, what a treat you getus? You know, within a week,
within a very very short week. It's Sistney and Erica, Welcome back
to another episode. And I'm like, I am loving the start of this
year, or you I am.I don't know why, but it feels
nice. It feels as if Iam enlightened and I am motivated for I
(00:46):
don't not necessarily change, but Idon't know. I'm not overwhelmed. I
feel like I'm always overwhelmed going intoa new year. Bless you did?
I coughed. Yeah, I'm fightingsome like throat things. So okay,
so you have good vibes going intothis year. I guess you could say
that I have good vibes. Maybeit's because the children are getting a little
(01:11):
older and I don't feel as stressed. This is so weird in my head.
I was going to ask you ifit has started to get easier,
but I didn't even write it downanywhere, did I. It's no,
that's so funny. Okay, it'snot easier, because it's not. I
mean, there's still meltdowns, there'sstill all those things, but it's it's
(01:33):
just that I guess it's more. There's like, especially with the kids kind
of going back to school, there'sa sense of relief that I know the
routine, Like I know, Iknow what to expect for these next five
months, you know, because Ialready did it already. You know.
It's like they're gonna be in schooluntil May, and I know how.
(01:53):
I know how the show runs basicallyat this point, and with you love.
Knowing how the show's gonna run exactly, it really stresses me out when
I don't know what it's going tobe like. Yeah, and then with
Savellah, she's too and yes,we have the potty train her this year
and probably gosh, get her outof her crib and transition to her into
a toddler bed. So that's kindof a little stressful. But I've done
(02:15):
it before, so I'm not stressedabout it totally. I feel like that's
kind of where my head's at momwise and career wise. All that,
I'm feeling as if I'm in agood place at work as well. You're
totally Yeah, You're like you're inlike a I don't want to say you
weren't hitting your groove before, butit feels like you really are in a
(02:38):
place where like you know what's goingto happen and you know the fires you've
needed to put out and like allthat, like you can do it because
you've done it before. It's excitingnonetheless. Yeah, And then I think
it's also probably the fact that I'mturning a new decade. I'm well,
growing into a new decade this year, that might have litle something to do
(03:00):
with it. Well, not onlyare you going into a new decade this
year, but your marriage is Yeah, it's a lot, but it's exciting.
It's that same feeling that I hadten years ago when we got married
and I was to returned thirty.Yeah. Ooh, do you feel like
your marriage has changed a lot inten years? Uh? It's well,
(03:27):
we've matured in ways like that,We've had to you know, responsib wise,
like things like that. Fine,But no, like does Michael still
annoy me the same way he annoyedme ten years ago, by grabbing my
ass when I don't want him toand all that type of shit. He
still does that. But I feellike that's what, in a weird way,
(03:50):
that's what I love about him.You know, I was like,
why married? He still makes melaugh, he's still right, pushes my
buttons, he still does all thethings that I think is needed in a
relationship. You can't just have thislike lovey dovey relationship where it's butterflies and
roses and I don't. I think, to me, that's unrealistic. Good
(04:10):
on your life, that's the typeof relationship you have. But I think
it's healthy to argue. I thinkit's healthy to have your alone time when
needed and all that type of stuff. So you know, it's actually interesting.
We should Michael and I are celebratingten years on January eighteenth. We
should have them on the podcast nextweek. Yes, And I have so
many quicktions we can about ten years. Yeah, we can touch base on
(04:36):
some of these topics. I guesssort of speak perfect. So yeah,
I guess it's the big moments thatare happening this year for me that are
kind of making me excited for this. Well, are we going to talk
about what you're doing for your fortiethor do you want to do on a
hold back on that. Let's holdback on that because it's not it's not
finalized yet, and oh, Ithink once it's finalized, maybe we can
(05:00):
discuss it. But there's some somerumbling of what we have planned or in
store for my fortieth and I'm lookingforward very much to that. You know,
the Golden Globes are still very muchin the news this week. I
don't know, did you watch.I didn't watch a live but I basically
watched as an on TikTok and onthe internet. I didn't see, and
(05:24):
then I actually went back and watchedhis monologue, uh oh Jo Cooy's Monologuice
last night with Michael because I onlysaw the bits and pieces. And then
the Taylor Swift joke wasn't in hismonologue. I guess I was later in
the show, but he was makingsome other references to the Barbie movie that
didn't really none of his jokes wereworking, and you can tell he was
(05:49):
panicking because he started throwing his ridersunder the bus and it was Yeah,
which was weird. I'm like, own it if you're going to do them,
I know, but I do findhim like I do find some of
the jokes he does funny, likeI don't. It's not like I'm Hayden
on the Guy. But he didn'tneed to go the I don't know if
(06:12):
it's misogynistic, but he didn't needto go that route, Like he didn't
need to Like he's funny without that. Yes, and we've known that.
Yeah, and it wasn't funny. And the world we're living in it's like
read the room too. Yeah. And also Barbie was like the biggest film
of the year. If it hadflopped or something, I think it could
have been room for those jokes exactly. But you literally have the entire cast
(06:36):
there, the director, everybody, and you're missing the point as to what
the movie was even made for.Yes, so, and he was sing
here, Oh. I locked myselfin the room on New Year's Eve and
I watched all these movies and allthese shows. I was like, no,
you didn't. It doesn't seem likeyou watched Barbie. Yeah, no
way. You wouldn't be making thosejokes if you heard America Ferrera's speech at
(06:57):
the main point of the film exactly. The Taylor Swift one I just didn't
think was funny. I just thought, like, everyone loves her right now,
so like, don't take a digout her right now. It wasn't
that big of a deal. Shewas obviously annoyed, yeah, and but
okay, so so was she annoyedor was she just taking a sip of
her champagne. I think for herit's always best to basically not react because
(07:19):
people are gonna think she's dramatic ifshe reacts. So I don't know.
She didn't seem pissed, but shedidn't seem thrilled either way. Yeah.
Fine, I don't think she hadmuch time to react, like I think
it happened, and I don't knowlike she did, you right, she
didn't seem like super pissed. Butyeah, it also was just not a
(07:41):
good joke. I don't know hecould have said anything else, Like he
could have said, you could havesaid something to like say how much like
you know money, Like she's likehere's something about like how much money she
makes? You know, like sure, Taylor Swift's the richest person in this
room, or like you know somethinganything, right, I don't know talk
about the friendship race. That's notyou didn't get one, or like there's
(08:03):
just there was so much fuel onher this year that was all not just
about her boyfriend. So exactly,I was so kind of holding out hope
that Taylor was going to show upat the Chiefs Chargers game. Were you
there? No? We didn't endup going, Okay, So honestly,
it was like at first, earlierin the week, I was saying,
(08:24):
Okay, you know, maybe weshould go, it's the last game of
the season, and no, it'sa throwaway game. The Chargers stuck anyways.
But the more we kind of startedgetting more information that for sure Taylor
was going to be at the GoldenGlobes for sure, Like Patrick Maholmes wasn't
even going to start. I don'teven think. I don't even know if
(08:45):
he played. Like it was justlike it was basically a worse than a
preseason game. Yes, I don'teven know. We were just we sold
our season tickets. We didn't go. Yeah, because the playoffs start next
week, is that right? Ibelieve tomorrow this week? Oh this week?
Yeah, so they're not playing theirstarters if they already know they're in
(09:05):
because they don't want to get hurtthe whole thing. Okay, exactly,
that's what usually is the smart moveto do. Yes, Yes, well
maybe next year you guys can goto a Chargers Chiefs game and Taylor will
be there. That would be thehope and she would we form at halftime
for fourteen minutes for us. Fordoubt that would happen, no apparent reason.
(09:26):
Okay, so I think the likethere was a few takeaways also just
to touch just to put a bowon the Golden globes. Okay, we
are an awards season, and itkind of excited me how many celebs were
there. I was a little taken. Aback. I was like, wow,
this is just a glimpse of whatis to come this year for a
(09:48):
war shows. I'm kind of downbecause it seemed like every A list celeb
was there. Yeah, like theGlobes this year were a big deal.
Yeah, for the first time ina while. Right. There was a
moment with Larson and Jennifer Lopez onthe red carpet, so cute. It
went viral and I it was there'sa few clips. I don't know if
you guys have seen the full versionof it. But if you watch the
(10:09):
full video, it is so genuineand so cute. Brie is getting interviewed.
I forget which outlet, Maybe maybeEntertainment tonight, I forget has an
extra ye sure, oh I'm notthe same Yeah, And she couldn't even
focus on the interview because they're preppingthe next celebrity to come up. And
the next celebrity is Jennifer Lopez andso she's technically on deck and she's going
(10:33):
to be the one that's going tocome up next after Bree, and so
I think at that point she's like, oh my god, there's Oh my
god, there's Jlo. And thenshe just starts like hyperventilating and couldn't I'm
just losing it. And so theybring up Jlo. Well, it seemed
like the guy interviewing didn't realize howbig of a deal that was about to
be. Oh I know, Iknow. She's like, no, you
don't understand, yes, and shelost it. And that's so funny.
(10:58):
She said at the end of likewhat she told Jaylah, she said like,
oh my god, I I watchedSelena and like you're the reason that
I started acting or wanted to actor something like that. But I think
she meant to say, like, your work ethic is so beautiful, so
like impressive or something like that. She's like, your work ethic is so
important. I don't know sure,I'd be panicking too in the moment.
(11:22):
Okay, I get it. Iloved it so much. It was just
so cut and they're both in tears, like crying. Yeah. Well,
and did I hear correctly? Didj Loo say to her I'm such a
fan? Oh? I didn't seethat. I think she said that,
like right as Bree was being likeYou're the reason I gone to acting and
Selena and everything. Oh And Ijust like can't imagine being in that position
(11:45):
of like the person I idolized islike, oh, I'm a fan of
you. I would race Oh mygosh, I am like such a Jlo
fan that I I feel like,oh you are. She would be cheeredy.
She kind of like can be honest. She's such a weird personality.
Though she's she's weird. She's notoften very warm. Oh. I look
(12:07):
into her on the phone before preppingher for an interview. Oh well,
I mean that's different. I don'tknow how I'm a warm Do you want
her to be on the phone, not cold, But what did she say
to you? You know, itwas the night that American Idol was ending
for the first time, so Ithink she was super emotional. But she
(12:28):
just seemed like she didn't want tobe prepped. She's not going to be
sitting there chit chatting with you,no offense. I know, this is
so many years ago. This islike my first year in radio with you.
I only had very amazing, genuineexchanges with j Low and I she
(12:48):
has lived up to every expectation ofwhat it is to meet an idol or
like someone that you idolize. Okay, it's been complete opposite. Then that's
what matters, because you idolize herand I think she's j Lo. She's
fine. Yeah, No, she'syou can't touch j Lo you, No,
She's insane in a good way.It's crazy. I mean that she's
(13:13):
in her fifties and she looks likethat. We'll just leave it at that.
Yeah. And then Kylie and TimothyShalla May they're in love. Like
the video of them kind of justsmooching and yes, so cute and cozy
together, just talking so delicately. They're just and like their little clean faced
and like like it's a different, this is a different Kylie. Yeah,
(13:35):
I love it. I think they'regoing to get married. Okay, you're
just thinking everyone's gonna get married thesedays. I think, yeah, it's
just it was really good. Butthen he, I guess TMZ caught up
with them somewhere out and about andhe's just like, please, nobody listen
to those rumors that we were meanto Selena or whatever it was. Yeah,
and then I think Selena's team alsowas like she never spoke to them
(13:58):
that night, so like it go. So I don't know what that was.
She and Taylor were obviously gossiping aboutsomething. I know. I want
to know what was said. Iknow, I know, I mean,
who knows. I think that Selenahad Benny there with her. Maybe she
was just filling her in on Idon't know, because there's like photos of
Selena and Bennie making out in acoat closet somewhere that was like the very
(14:20):
last one in her carousel see it. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah
all ye. So the new yearmeans new fashion trends and oh we need
to do our ins and outs,so yes we do. That's more important
than anything else. Well, thiskind of ties in like fashion trends and
whatnot. Okay, I actually madea list. Let me pull that up.
(14:41):
I hope my computers in crash becauseI have that. We've been having
issues today, so no opening upwhat word docs? I ever relax?
But yeah, we had our insand outs list from last week. They
were kind of doing on the fly, and then I was like, oh
wait a minute, I need toreally kind to think about this, so
(15:01):
give me a beat, and thenI came up with mine. So do
you want to how many do youhave? I have like six, but
I can do less. Okay, let's do five each because I only have
that. Okay, so I'll gofirst. So for these are our ins
and outs for twenty twenty four.Sure, an in for me is more
(15:22):
braw lettes and and oukay is underwirebros. Okay? So are your ins
and outs like like one for one? Yes, there are. There doesn't
matter that you can do whatever yougotta do. Great you, so I
guess, so I can elaborate ifyou want. I just feel like underwire
(15:43):
bras are just uncomfortable, and Ifeel like they're kind of bad for you
too. If you wire get wrong. So I want to try to find
more supportive bra lets. I knowthey're out there, and I know companies
make like crazy good ones, andI just need to research them more.
And I want to buy really good, comfortable braw lads that don't have any
underwire, Like I don't think it'snecessary. I feel like, I know
(16:06):
this is silly. Will you shareon your journey as you find the best
one? Thanks? Okay, yeah, because I feel like, yeah,
I would love I freaking wire.The wires suck. I'm over. I
only wear the wires when I likeneed to exactly wear too. Yeah,
but also crappy bralets also suck.Like right now I'm wearing a crappy bralette
(16:27):
like it's doing nothing for me.Like it's very like saggy doodle. Look
up. I think it's like HeyHarper or something. I think my sister
told me about that bright Okay, hey Harper. Yeah, okay, Okay,
it's been a very educational two minutes. It has been. Now do
you want me to go or doyou want to keep going back and forth?
Okay? Well, one of myins is actually budgeting, because I'm
(16:51):
trying to buy a home and I'venever budgeted before in my life, and
then my outs is. The firstone is life milestone timelines and like feeling
behind or feeling stressed out by notbeing where everyone else is, it doesn't
matter anymore. Also, I cansay that because now I'm in a happy
place and I don't have to worryabout them as much. But yeah,
yeah, but you know what happensyou adapt is not adapt to how you're
(17:15):
feeling at that moment. So true. So let's go back to budgeting.
Oh, have you figured out away to successfully accomplish this? No,
I literally don't know how to budget. Just clapped and smiled. I have
never once set a budget, andI have never once tracked what I'm spending.
(17:37):
And I'm scared to let me tellyou something. I am not the
girl to talk to. I shouldtalk to your husband. Yeah, he's
really good with budgets. You know. My dad, when I was in
college, made me keep a spreadsheet. He made me keep an Excel spreadsheet,
and I had a budget everything becauseI was fortunate enough for him to
(17:59):
provide me with some sort of anincome while I was in college and also
working at the radio station which paidpeanuts and not You can you know what
I mean. I'm not going toelaborate on that. Yeah, like literally
nothing. Yeah, and so hewas like, Okay, I need to
know where you're spending your money, and it was your rents here, cable
(18:19):
here, I had an entertainment category. I had. Entertainment could be anything
from like dining out or a concertor fun stuff okay whatever, probably going
to clubs at that time, bars, and then what else maybe gift category,
travel, et cetera, et cetera. Yeah, so that's a good
(18:41):
starting point, I guess, isto create some sort of list of all
of the things that you actually haveto spend money on and then go from
there. My boyfriend has a goodbudget, so I'm I'm gonna ask him
to help me. But I alsoget annoyed when people tell me what to
do. So yeah, welcome tobeing in aries. Yeah I know,
(19:06):
yeah, the same way. Allright, what's your next one? My
next one is in adding more colorto my house. Ooh, like I
was. I kept seeing this popup on Instagram that red is the in
color for twenty twenty four. Nowthat is a frightening color. If you
(19:26):
ask me, It's not for me. I find it terrifying. But the
more and more I see images onInstagram, I'm telling you look it up,
and you're gonna be like, Okay, I see what you're saying,
Sissy. Okay. What's out forme when I'm gonna try to be out
is neutral home decor. Because Ibecame very Kardashian over the last two to
(19:48):
three years. Try six, whenthe twins were worn. You wanted everything
to be neutral. Sure, Soeverything in my house is neutral, Okay,
And I think that's a much majorityof people. A lot of people
like it, just the neutral tones. It's very crab, pretty good with
color. I have color in myhome, okay, okay, but red,
(20:10):
I mean, you know what itwas. It's before this, so
like before I went neutral, Likewhen I first moved to la and like
my single Era, I had ajewel I was like a jewel tone.
Era told me this. You know, it's a freaking plum velvet couch.
(20:30):
I had a plum accent wall. All of my pillows were like jewel tone
teals and like yellows and ruby redsand all this stuff. It was just
like a very bright colorful It wasjust you know, you got burnt out
on it. I think so Ithink just to I did too much color
then. So anyways, when Italk about the red, it's not like
McDonald's red. This red is avery almost like a deep burgundy, think
(20:56):
about like a blow wine bit, yes, lips. And it doesn't have
to be like you walk in andlike every wall is painted that color.
It could be like you have atan couch and the pillows are that red,
so you're putting like little pops ofthe red into your home decor.
I look, I haven't done ityet, but apparently it's in for twenty
(21:19):
twenty four. I support you.And my sister, who's an interior designer,
was already trying to get me onthis bandwagon, like a few months
ago when we were buying stuff forthe house. She was like, yeah,
she's like rust is going to bereally in this year, and she
was trying to get me to buythese like orange rust pillows and I was
like, barf, no way.And now I'm like she was kind of
right, like I'm kind of nowleaning towards the rusty reds and all these
(21:44):
like deep oranges and red colors. So just hear me out, okay,
like there's something there. I amexcited for you. Okay, my next
in is yoga and weightlifting, andmy out is hit workouts only. And
that is new for me because Idefinitely was an Orange Theory girl, hardcore.
And now I go to yoga everySaturday because I have it in my
(22:06):
apartment and I'm lifting very heavy weightsand I actually my body feels great.
Yeah, so that's awesome. I'mkeeping up with that this year. That's
so nice. You have yoga inyour apartment for free. Wow. I
know, three times a week ifI wanted to, but I'm not that.
I'm not a three times a weekgirl. Got to six months from
now, I'm like five days aweek and era your incense in your apartment.
(22:32):
All the podcasts are like hello,I'm like playing one of those like
sound bad things as we start theshow. All right, another inn for
twenty twenty four for me cooking athome and out food delivery. I realize
so much on Postmates and Caviat anddoor dash and you name it uber eats.
(22:56):
Oh my gosh, it's a problem. You are Postmates girl, at
least on the weekends. From whatI know. With you, I know
and I'll probably Postmates when you comeand visit me because it's just easy.
It is. But I just,at least for the day, let me
try to be more realistic and tryto do like a Monday to Friday,
(23:17):
yeah, you know, like orlucky Sunday to Thursday. Sure. Yeah,
but it's just I'm so exhausted sometimeswhen I get home from work,
and it'll just be it's just thatquestion, you know, Michael's like,
what's for dinner? What should wedo for dinner? And I can't just
do you know, mac and cheese, or we have no vegetables to do
(23:37):
with something else, and so I'mjust like, I don't we have no
food in the house, or andeven then that's like I should get in
the car and go to the grocerystore, but then I depend on Instacart
to just deliver the groceries. Ilooked at the bill because actually they never
usually put the receipt, but thelast time, like the Instacar guy put
the receipt and oh my groceries.Oh, And it was like, I
shit, you not, like,oh, I was buying a lot of
(24:00):
groceries that day, but it wasone hundred dollars difference from just going to
the store or getting it instacratic. What I paid it was a fifty dollars
difference of the store price, andthen I tippedhim fifty bucks because it would
be a big order. Yeah,and so I'm just like, that's a
that that's up, like yeah, out, you know, I don't do
(24:22):
that big of an order always thatthat probably wouldn't happen, Like that's probably
like once a month I do abig order like that, right, But
I was like desperate. It waslike late at night and met my brother
and his girlfriend were coming the nextday, and I was just like,
okay, you just need to havefood in the house in the bright in
the morning like whatever. But soanyways, yeah, cook more at home.
Okay, my next in is cogoing home by midnight, and my
(24:45):
out is taking shots. I goton a weird are you gonna how are
you gonna do both? No,my inn is going home by and my
out is taking shots. I goton a weird shot train. Towards the
end of last year, I wasjust having fun with my boyfriend and we
were going out with our friends,and I got this, I can't I'm
the thirty almost thirty one. Ican't do them anymore. So I feel
(25:08):
you all on the shots. IfI do a shot, not, how
does this end well for me?I honestly don't get drunk that easily anymore.
So shots are just like making menot enjoy things. Yeah, I'm
with you, Yeah all right.I'm a wine and beer girl right now.
Cool. Yeah, it's a wineand beer season. It's such a
(25:30):
wine and beer season, even morebeer than wine for me, which is
weird right now. But yeah,it's good. I need to drink some
water. Hang up. Okay, okay, do we have two more?
One more each? Two more?Okay, two more, two more?
Okay. Another end for me isencouraging our kids independence. Ooh, out
(25:52):
is fixing our kids problems? Okay, tell me more about that. So
I think that there is a generationof parenting that happened in the last maybe
decade or so, kind of helicoptery, and I am I don't think I'm
(26:15):
a helicopter parent, but sometimes Ican. I could see myself going that
route, even just in the waythat like as it would do an R
project or you know whatever, LikeI just be like, do you really
want to we really want to likeglue that right there? You know,
It's like I need to just likestop. You know, that's not you
(26:37):
know, that's like calicoptering. Yeah, let them do what they're going to
do. So I think I justwant to be better at encouraging their independence
and really letting them. My parentsdid that with me, and I I
find that I was a very independentand creative Yeah, like I love Sometimes
(27:00):
I can be in the other roomor in the kitchen, or doing my
own things, sometimes working in myoffice at the house, and then you
know, the kids are in theplayroom and twenty minutes later, Aza comes
to me and shows me this beautifulmural art that she created, like drawing
for me, you know, withoutyou standing there being like what if you
(27:22):
put that over there exactly? Youknow, And she's using her creative mind
without anybody telling her what to do. And I think that's just great.
That is great. Okay, Ilove that. That's my two cents,
all right, I love that verymuch. My next one is in celebrating
friends wins, little and big,so not just weddings, babies, those
(27:48):
things out is saying yes all thetime those don't necessarily go together. But
also, you know, prioritizing myselfwith you, but also I feel like
all I've ever done is traveled forweddings and bachelorette parties and bridal showers,
and I'm like, what about myfriend? What about me? Kind of
who hasn't gotten married yet and hasn'tdone those things. And I had my
(28:11):
friends show up for me in abig way when I turned thirty, and
I felt very celebrated when I gotthis job and made this move, and
it made me realize we need todo more of that. So that's the
very big focus for me this year, especially because everyone's already married except for
my couple single friends, so thosegirls get the love this year. Nice.
Yeah, I like that, Thankyou great? Okay. And then
(28:33):
my final in and out now Iwant in and out? Okay. No,
I'm gonna cook at home tonight. No, you're gonna get home.
It's so in, damn it tohell. This is hard, Okay.
Getting to know thy neighbor. Uh, really getting to know our neighbors is
really in for me because you havenew neighbors, yes, and out is
staying inside our house being hermits, not that we were really hermits before,
(28:56):
but just it has been such agame change moving into this new home,
our other house we lived on itfor six years, seven years, I
don't know, and we knew liketwo neighbors, like the ones directly across
from us, and then the oneslike Caddy Corner, and that was basically
it or not like our next doorneighbors, but this place or this street,
(29:17):
I swear we know almost every houseand there's like twenty houses on our
street, and we all are onan email chain and we all communicate and
everyone kind of hangs out in theirfront yards on the weekends. Oh cute.
It's just like, yes, it'slike this fun little community. And
everyone's obviously different ages. There's likeseniors like senior citizens to people our age.
(29:41):
I have kids, so it's justlike across the board all age groups.
And just last weekend, Michael andI were cleaning out the garage and
he had these big, giant likewood planks that were trying to get rid
of because they were in the garagethat we didn't need and they didn't fit
in the bin that we have totoss all the junk that we rented,
and what of our neighbors was there, and he was just like, oh,
I can bring my saw over.Just give me ten minutes. You
(30:03):
know, it's just like we Idon't know, and it's all because like
everyone is always out walking their dogsand they stop and talking the driveway and
we talked to twenty minutes. Likeyou know, I found out that one
of my other neighbors, you know, is her sons in the music industry,
and like he's one of the musicdirectors for someone that's on tour with
Taylor Swift. It's just like, you know, there's all these like crazy
(30:26):
connections. I feel like you askhow I know your neighbors. Yeah,
Like I feel like we knew ourneighbors when I was growing up, But
I don't know a single person inmy apartment building. I mean, you
just also moved there, so giveit some time. Been here almost six
months. I think that's okay,still new, I guess I'll give it.
Yeah. Yeah. But also apartmentbuildings are a little bit trickier,
(30:48):
yeah, because you know, becausein the front yard you get it and
you shut your doors, like unlessyou're in their hallway. Right. I
don't know how your apartment set up. Is it like hallways? Yeah?
Always? Oh yeah, it's coldhere. Don't open like a dorm,
no picture like a hallway. Anyways. But yeah, just the other like
(31:08):
yesterday, whatever neighbors is trimming theiravocado tree and emailed everybody and said,
hey, we have an abundance ofavocados if y'all want to come over.
Michael went over there and came backwith a big old bag of avocados.
How many avocados did they have onthis tree? Like? So many?
We have, like twenty avocados.I was like, what are we gonna
(31:29):
do with them? I feel like, are we making guacamole six days a
week? Like, honestly, they'renot ripe yet, and I feel like
they could be right by a SuperBowl Sunday. So maybe a big old
Super Bowl vardy with big old bowlof guacamole. Yeah, that's several weeks
from now, isn't that like inthree weeks? Oh yeah, Okay,
it's three weeks from now. Okay, could be ready by then, could
be could be my last in andout. My inn is a long haired
(31:55):
docs and I'm getting a dog thisyear. I want a long haired dogs
in so badly kind of like Gypsy. Gypsy is like a longer stacks and
adjacent totally a longer mix of whateveris happening there, and my last out
is worrying about the size of yourjeans because I feel like I get caught
up on the number versut how Ifeel. Oh yeah, I forget about
the number, so like number wasjust number. Set it off honestly.
(32:17):
Yeah, it's not a bad idea, and that's it for me. I
love that. Okay, So thoseare ins and outs. I feel like
we really crushed those. I feellike we did too. I'm pretty proud
of us. There was a fewfashion trends that I was going to touch
on, which is they're not There'snot many, but apparently white and white
on white is like in the morewhite you can wear, like, don't
(32:37):
listen to the after labor day rule. I don't look great and white.
I don't mind white, Like I'mwearing white right now. I like it,
but I'm more also wearrying like atan sweatpant, so it's kind of
white all right. What about shortsuits, I'm okay with them. I
feel like like a like a blazerbut not with like pants, but like
(32:58):
shorts, I feel I think I'veseen that at award shows, right,
Yeah, really really full maxie skirtsare going to be in It's all for
me like very almost like poofy. The fuller the skirt the better, and
then the no pants look. We'veseen this on the red carpets a few
times even last year. Apparently it'sgoing to be even bigger this year.
(33:20):
And it's like where they were thebriefs and then either just like like like
a sheer dress under or are yourdress over? Oh okay, I did
know what I mean. Sister's bacheloretteparty. I wore a sheer dress with
like a broad undiase under it.We'll see if you did it. I
thought, what did you think? You're just like your pa. I know
(33:45):
what we were talking about. LikeI want to say, Page from the
Giggly Squad Girl. She's from oneof the Bravo shows. She wore like
Bloomers on the on the Red carpetat Bravo Con and I was like,
what are we doing? Yes,that's also the look. Though, yes,
I'd rather do the sheer dresses thanthe Bloomers, but I think it's
(34:06):
all of that ghosts. It's eitherthat or the sheer or it's basically just
no pants. Can I just goback to the full MAXI skirts? I
hate that that only works on certainbody types. For me, it's very
tall. That's I know, becauseI was being styled for jingle Ball and
I tried one of those on andit was not. I looked like a
(34:30):
very lost, uh middle child, gosh, like the crazy teachers who would
wear the big skirts, very confused, like middle school teacher like. They
paired it with like like a collar. It was like a collared shirt with
like a few little like yeah,I don't even know. And it was
supposed to look like chic, verylike Chanel Shee. Just was not.
(34:54):
It was it was a satin longfull snow and it just did not look
me for my body type either.I'm probably tall enough to wear it,
but you gotta be like like realthin to wear those. I feel like
maybe look or or real confident. You're so right a boy that I would
(35:14):
love to see other body types wearingit, and I will applaud you.
I will not personally be putting themon my body. Okay, that's going
to do it for us. Enjoythe rest of your day, your week,
your weekend, akend, go seeMean Girls this weekend. That movie
looks so cute and seeing wait,I'm hosting a screening. Oh You're so
(35:37):
lucky. Oh my gosh, letme know how it is. I cannot
wait to see this movie. AndRenee Rap is incredible and she has this
new song called not My Fault, which is on the movie Best Workout Song
by the way. Yeah yeah,it just came out like it came out
actually over winter break, but sodefinitely check it out. Yeah bye.
