(00:00):
So then I said, what aboutbreakfast at Sicinys. Well, that's one
thing we got time to sit back, relax and indulge in your weekly tea.
Welcome to breakfast at Sicens. Hello, and welcome back to another pod.
It is Siciny and Erica. Andwhat a week. I am still
(00:20):
in disbelief from something you posted.Yeah, we got a puppy, Like
I was literally with you a weekprior a week there was no mention of
a puppy. There was no talkof maybe we're going to get another dog.
Nothing. We did not know thatwe were going to get a dog,
(00:42):
although we have. It's been adiscussion just throughout the last few months,
probably only because we do have welove our two dogs is that we
have right now, or that wehad before Go Diego but is getting older,
and we always have that discussion oflike, what's going to happen,
(01:03):
and we will like get another dogone day, this and that, And
I always thought that maybe we wouldwe would obviously cross that bridge when we
have to, and don't want tothink about it, but I don't know.
I believe in the universe. Ibelieve in things that are meant to
be. I believe in signs Ijust and the way we got Gypsy,
(01:29):
our second dog, was very similarto how we got Diego okay in a
sense, So tell me the storyof the day. So we were going
to Sugarfish, And for people thatif you don't live in California or La
Sugarfish is a very well known sushirestaurant. I frequent it quite often,
(01:52):
and it's goetty close to my home. It's also in a shopping center with
other retail shops and other restaurants andwhatnot. It's almost like a mini grove
essentially. And I actually was alonebecause I was coming from work, I
think, and I was picking upMichael at the house and I was like,
(02:12):
hey, let's do lunch and he'slike, I'm down. So I
was driving, Michael hopped in andwe drove over there. So as we
were driving sugar Fish, Kid's like, so backed up with if you don't
get there like before noon, andit was like eleven so thirty maybe eleven
forty and you're like in the lunchrush and it'll be an hour. Wait,
so he's like, let me getout while you look for parking.
He's like uncle parent our name inSo that's what he did, so,
(02:35):
and I was coming up. Iwas by myself, and I saw the
adoption They had like a whole thislike shelter had set up a pop up
outside of fred Siegel, Okay, and which is kind of across the way
from where the Sugarfish is. Allwithin the same shopping center. But that's
the same shopping center you and Iwent to the other day. Yeah.
Anyways, I saw the pup fromlike the minute I started getting closer and
(03:02):
closer, and I was like wow, because it was just it's a dalmation,
Like how do you It's yeah, how do you not see adultmation when
you're looking at a bunch of otherpuppies right right, white and beautiful?
And he was in his own pen, And then there were some other smaller
dogs, terriers, chihuahuas, thingslike that, mixed in different pens.
(03:25):
There's probably like four or five pensaltogether of like dogs that need to be
adopted. Wow. And I glancedat him. I was like, wow,
so cute. I can't believe there'sa little puppy dolmation. But moved
on right because we get inside andthen I the minute I walk in Michael's
already like sitting waiting for us toget seated, and I was like,
did you see the dog outside? He was like, we're not getting a
(03:46):
dog and I was like, aha, so I sit down. We had
started having lunch, and the wholelunch, I'm like looking out the window
behind me and just like talking onthis dog. And I was like,
nobody touched it dog and and I'mtrying to like work Michael. The whole
lunch, right, I was justlike, you know, I was like,
it could be my birthday present. This, you know, have my
(04:11):
birthday next month, and this Iwas just we've been talking about getting a
dog, like you know, thesethings just kind of happen, like I
It's it's not like there's never aright time, but there's kind of like
never a right time. I mean, you guys have so much going on
anyway that like you're always going tobe a right time. We're always gonna
have so much going on, We'realways gonna So I just say, I'm
(04:33):
a very much and this is theAriaeson me or who knows, because I
don't know if you're you're as impulsiveas I am, but probably not.
Yeah, but I'm very much likejumping the deep end type of person and
you know, figure it out andI always do. So we're working through
(04:54):
it and getting through the lunch.I'm just kind of like feeling him out.
Yeah, he's like he's not likehe's like he's basically saying no,
but like I know, Michael, right, We're gonna work through it.
And then I I feel like he'slistening outside the door. Is he?
I don't know. It was likeI was hearing his guitar earlier and like
(05:14):
now I'm not hearing it, andI'm doing the podcast from home today.
I'm curious. Anyways, So Ihe was saying something like we're just gonna
go home. We're not gonna evengo look at the dogs type of thing,
and I was like, fine, you could walk because I have the
keys. And so after we're donewith lunch, I was like, hey,
I'm gonna go and wash my hands, and he's like, can you
(05:36):
give me the car keys? AndI was like rolled my eyes. I
was like fine, here thinking inmy head like this is it, Like
we're not gonna look at the dogsand he's gonna be lining it to the
parking lot. And so I washedmy hands and I come out of the
restroom and he's nowhere in sight inthe restaurant. And so I was like,
all right, he left, notleft, but like, you know,
(05:57):
he went to the car exactly. And so I opened the door and
I opened the door to go outside, and I don't see him like nearby,
and I was like, okay,he really left. And I look
across and he was at the adoptionagency. He was like already like holding
the puppy, Oh my gosh, petting him and stuff. And I was
like, all right, we've gotsome progress here. So we're I'm just
(06:19):
like observing him, right, I'mnot really like I'm petting him. And
everyone is infatuated with this dalmatian, right, and there's a bunch of other
dogs, but I didn't even lookat any other dogs. I was like,
this is it? If not whatever. So at that moment, Michael's
phone rings and it's his dad,and I was like, oh, ask
your dad what he thinks. Ohmy gosh, And that's kind of could
(06:42):
go either way. And so hegoes off and talks his dad and at
this point I'm like, really,I'm just staying with a dog, petting
him. This is that? Andhe comes back and he goes, well,
that was no help, and it'slike, oh, he's like,
I asked my dad what he thinksabout dominationis because he actually grew up with
a Dalmati when he was like,oh in Argentina and he was like,
(07:04):
hey, what do you think aboutDalmatians? And his dad was like,
oh, they are the best dogs. It's like you can't go wrong or
something like that, right, Andhe's like, oh man, So at
that point, I'm like filling outthe application already. Oh yeah, yeah,
this is happening. And you know, we were there probably like an
hour and a half. Like thewhole process of them they interviewed us.
(07:25):
We showed them aerial views of ourhome, like we showed him like,
yeah, like we have a yard, just like. It was like very
thorough. It was Dogs without Bordersdot org. If you want to check
out their website. They obviously havea bunch of dogs that still need to
be homed. And I that wasit, And so I couldn't believe that
(07:46):
within those few hours we were bringingthis puppy home. Wait, so you
brought the puppy home the same dayyou went to lunch and you ended up
coming home with a puppy. Thekids had no idea. They were at
school whatever exactly the kids are atschool. When we got back, that's
when like, you know, realityhit. We're like, we don't have
any We have two dogs already,so obviously we have like a few things
(08:09):
here, but I need to getthe proper equipment for this dog that's going
to turn into a mini big horsedog. Like yes, it's gotta be
a big, big dog. Andthat was kind of the wild part because
we have like the crates that wehad like for Dakota and Gypsy when they
were puppies and we still have them, but there's no way like the size
(08:30):
of those crates are basically what howmuch he would need like right now for
like the next month. But thenit's just right, he's going to grow
huge. So we had to gethim like an extra large crate to obviously
create training him, and then weattached like this this fence to it so
that when we do take him outof the crate, like he has a
whole play area and we're slowly introducinghim to like the house, like it's
(08:52):
been a week at this point,so yeah, it's you know, he
doesn't have full reign of the home. Yet it's he and if he does,
it's very supervised. And then he'sa puppy. It's like you,
I haven't had a puppy in likeforever, because even Gypsy was nely a
puppy. We think he was likemaybe six or seven months old when we
got it. I guess that's stilla puppy. But but like baby,
(09:15):
baby, this is baby. Thisis like he's twelve weeks old, so
oh my gosh. And so justso anybody knows, like when you have
a puppy this small, it's likehaving a newborn. It's like finding out
you're pregnant and having the baby thatsame day. Like it, oh,
instant, it hit us because we'retaking shifts downstairs. Michael's been sleeping on
(09:37):
the couch downstairs for this entire weekbecause he's doing overnight feeding, not overnight
feedings, all the overnight potty breaks, right, and it is like NonStop.
So a good rule of thumb is, however many months the puppy is,
you add and you add an extrahour. So if he's three months
old, he can maybe hold hispea from anywhere to three to four hours,
(09:58):
and then you go up like that. And then whenever you're not as
soon as he wakes out from mynap, as soon as he's done eating,
as soon as you're done playing withhim, you have to take him
outside. It's like any of thoseactions, you have to take him outside.
He was just constant, like he'shad one accident inside the house that
this time I know, and andthat was my fault because it wasn't I
(10:22):
went to take him out of hiscrate and I should have taken him outside
to go pee, and I messedup, and I gave him his food
right away, and so I tookhim out and I was like, oh,
maybe I'll just eat real quick andafter he's an Etai'll take him out,
because he gobbles down the food sofast and it wasn't enough. But
like as soon as he was done, he turned around and then he just
like squatted impede and I was like, oh my gosh, So totally my
fault. But other than that,he's like really really smart and I'm super
(10:46):
excited to like, you know, get the training process down and go down
that road and he knows how tosit now and it's just ready. Yeah,
Like it's really good to like trainthem with these little, tiny like
treats. They're like almost like littleballs, and every dime he does something
good, we just reward him witha treat. And he's getting the hang
(11:09):
of it, you know, Iknow it's been a week, Like talk
to me in a few months, but right right, it's just that's it.
He's part of the family where itwill figure it out. There's no
turning back now. A couple questions. One was his name Diego before you
got him, No, his namewas dice dice oh, because he looks
(11:30):
like spots on the dice uh huh. And then we were like really going
through it, like trying to figureout what should we name him, and
so we were really playing on thefact that he's a Domatian and so we
were looking at you know, cheekykind of names like that, and then
we called him Domino for maybe aday and a half, okay, and
it just kind of wasn't sticking.Plus the fact that the word no is
(11:52):
in the name made it difficult.Yeah, So then we were like trying
to be like, okay, Dominostop or Domino off, like and then
we just it's just so natural forus to say no as humans. To
anything that is bad. So that'ssuper interesting. I didn't think of that.
I didn't think of it either untilwe were like in it, and
then we were like Domino, no, no, and it was just like
(12:13):
so confusing, I think so.And I just kind of wasn't feeling the
name. I just feel like it'sso common for Dalmatians. I was just
to say, it's almost like twoexpected, especially for you, like your
children's names are very much not thenormal. Yeah, I really have to
protect my reputation here exactly. Sowe were going through so many it felt
(12:39):
like naming a baby obviously, butbecause we got him President's Day weekend,
I was really leaning towards a presidentialname I want, and so we were
going through like old presidents. Butthen like you really want to like,
you know, not have I'm sure. I mean every president has, like
I feel like dirty secrets or justlike being bad still about of president's No
matter how we went through the list, it's like, oh, I don't
(13:03):
know, And so I was kindof feeling Franklin for a minute. I'd
like you Roosevelt. I like Ithought like it was kind of just like
really because you have to picture he'sgonna be a big dog, so big.
Naming him something like Bingo or evenlike Domino. It was like two
cutesy. Yeah, and when he'slike eighty pounds and so I feel she's
(13:26):
going to be eighty pounds anywhere fromlike sixty to eighty and wow, I
mean, if if it's crazy,he could be up to a hundred.
But yeah, I don't think he'dbe a hundred. I mean, I'm
crossing my fingers that will be inlike seventy to eighty. You never know.
And no, it was Yeah, you had to like try out a
bunch of names. Oh I likedwhat was what I really like? I
(13:48):
like Harrison. Harrison was like whenthey were out street from Harry, for
sure, But Diego feels more bright. Yeah, I mean I think we
were just stuck on the regal LikeI wanted something that was very like regal
sounding, because oh, okay,Dalmatians kind of give me that vibe,
you know, they were like properand like beautiful dogs poised, yes,
(14:09):
and so I was kind of leaningtowards that. But none of those names
were sticking. I don't know.Did the kids have any say in the
name. Oh yeah, the kidswere like all involved and they what was
someone name that they really liked?Oh, there was one that Maxidon really
liked and I liked it too.Asa was like absolutely not. I forgot
(14:30):
which one it was. Was itApollo? Yeah, we were I was
liking Apollo too, just because itkind of like he's like, you know,
has white coat still and I justI don't know. It sounded like
cool. But then in Spanish youlook at it when when it spelled and
it looks like a boil, whichis chicken, he would become like the
(14:52):
cowardly Dalmatian or something. I don'tknow what was the meme that we were
all like on board with. Ican't even think except for a Yeah,
let me go to the list.Actually, this is fun. You have
it in your phone? Yeah, because we were like writing them down because
I was we couldn't think of aname. Were the kids giving suggestions as
(15:13):
well, or were you guys givingsuggestions they were like chiming in, like
were they at any point like dinosauror one name? I really liked what
Winston? I really wanted Winston.Oh, Winston is a good I know
a couple dogs named Winston. Yeah, And I feel like when he's bigger.
Winston would have been like a propername. Yeah, but it's still
(15:35):
at the end of the day.Wasn't us Kingsley was on the list?
Cute? What else? Remington andcall him Remy for sure? Oh?
I like that. I know you'regiving away so many good dog names,
right doesn't. Yeah, you're bigabout getting a puppy Mike. So Michael
was really pushing for Gibson. Iwas like, guitars, guitars. I
(15:58):
was like, I don't know.Dante was on the list for the children
because the dog in Coco is namedDante. Oh, okay, what else?
Maui came up because of Malana andI was like, oh, yeah,
I have a friend whose dog isnamed Maui. But it's it's because
they like fell in love and Mauior something. They went on a trip
to Hawaii. Yeah. I waslike, I can't see, he's not
(16:18):
a Maui. He's not a Maui. No. Griffin was another solid choice,
and like that was like my highschool mascot. So I was kind
of like, I love Gryffin andMichael was like, no, what was
another Rlow Harlow? Like do GusNapoleon, Oh, Krestin, Preston.
(16:40):
I really liked Preston. I waslike, what was that? After I
have like friends named Preston. Yeah, I don't know. Sterlin was on
my list, A Tank. Wejust called him tank Tank, Wilson and
Walter, Oh and Vinnie. Ireally liked Vinnie. I thought Vinnie was
like a solid, like because like, Vin, did you like that?
(17:00):
Like, isn't there a guy onJersey Shore named Vinnie? Oh? Yeah,
exactly? But no. Ultimately welanded and actually, Diego is not
even on this list. And I'mbecause we were like obviously looking on websites
and trying to get ideas and all, and I didn't even see Diego pop
up on any of these lists obviously, but I just shouted it out and
(17:22):
I was like Michael, I waslike Diego, and he was like Diego,
yes, and like to like ofcourse, that was the first thing
that we both were like, yes. And then when we tried to backpedal
and second guess it, I waslike no, I'm like this is it.
We literally considered Diego as a namefor Maxon really yes. Oh,
and because San Diego obviously holds avery special meeting to us. Yeah,
(17:45):
and that's where we met. Imean officially we met del Mar, which
is in San Diego, but andwe both went to college there, and
it's just like special, like weat the end of the day, we
we love San Diego. And Iwas thinking of it like San Diego.
I was thinking of it as likea Spanish name, and it is a
Spanish name, and so it justmakes sense for our family. It fits
(18:08):
and cute. That's the story ofhow we named Diego. I know,
however, we totally skipped apart. You didn't tell me how the kids reacted
when they came home from school. So the kids were coming home separately on
that Friday because they have different afterschool programs that day, okay, and
so Maxon came home first and wasjust like couldn't believe it. He's like,
(18:30):
this is really our dog? Isthis really our dog? And so
he went to piano class. Andthen I picked up Asa with the dog
at school, and so I wasjust like holding him, and she almost
didn't recognize me because she'd seen thedog, but she didn't like, look
at who was holding it. Icame out, and so she didn't think
that it was me, and Iwas like, ASA's mommy, look at
(18:51):
our dog. And She's like,so, I mean I videotaped both of
their reactions, so I should postthem or something. They need to see
them. She was like, well, Maxim was like smiling and like ran
ran to the dog. Asa wasmore like in shock, like she was
just like there was like no reaction. Almost was like are you excited?
She was just like is it?Like is it really our dog? You
(19:12):
couldn't believe it, basically, andshe was so happy, like in the
car, like she got to shegot to go Petta with me, and
so we were picking out all thestuff together. That was exciting. It's
always fun to pick out the dogstuff for the oh so fun? Did
saveya have any sort of Saveah wasnapping this whole time, so she hadn't
(19:33):
met the dog yet until we gothome, and then she woke up her
nap, and you know, she'svery much like okay, like it's just
like snoggy exactly. And she stilllittle, you know, too small to
comprehend. And I think he's like, it's like a big deal that we
have a new dog, right.I think she's kind of like, whoap,
this is just what it is now, well, here's another thing.
(19:57):
And our dogs, yeah, andGypsy we you know, of course,
are like, okay, this needsto work out. Dakota is so old,
she's like she'll be fifteen this year, and so she is just you
know, like whatever avoids him ifneed be and really doesn't you know,
care otherwise. And Gypsy being thathe's a male, and we brought in
(20:18):
another mail probably like look if wewould have had if there was like a
he has a sister, actually DiegoDiego does, but the sister was not
up for adoption because the owner, like or the CEO of the shelter actually
is keeping the sister. Oh wow, Yeah, I guess like she got
(20:40):
hurt a few months ago and eitherlike fractured one of her paws or her
legs or something like that, andso she was like rehabilitating her back to
health and either fell in love withher during the process or because she was
injured. She's like, I'm notgoing to put up for adoption and whatever.
It was right her going to ahome that isn't they're keeping her.
(21:00):
But yeah, in hindsight, likemaybe a female would have been better so
that she doesn't like clash with Gypsy, But so far, Gypsy's still holding
his like alpha and like he's justbe like smoking, like you know,
he's a he's a senior dog.Like I know, how old is Gypsy
again, He's like gonna be tenthis year. Okay, so yeah,
he's nine and a half. Andit's very Yeah, he's very much like
(21:23):
I know, they are the samesize right now. So it'll be very
interesting to seem like once like thisDoalmatian starts becoming like Clifford the big red
dog to Gypsy, like, wait, Diego's that small right now? Yeah,
oh my gosh, Okay, yeah, it will be interesting when he
becomes like a big dopey dog totally. So he's you know, he wants
(21:45):
to play, and my dogs justlike are not like his. He there's
no chill about Diego right now andso right when, and my dogs are
super chill and trained and seasoned andgot it all down. And so when
he tries to play with them, they're literally just like either bark back him
or just you know, stand theirground or like walk away. They're like
no, thank you. Yeah. But I think what's really interesting if you
(22:06):
do get a dog and introduce theminto your family and you already have previous
dogs is to not not like notlike because obviously you're not going to neglect,
but like when you come home, you say hello to the other dogs
first. When it's dinner time, you feed the other dogs first, and
then he's like it's like seniority andlike all that stuff matters. And so
the fact that like Diego is stilllike being great trained and all this stuff,
(22:30):
like he doesn't have full privileges likethe other dogs do, but he
sees that they do so eventually, and he's really getting this and we do,
like we do have him like, you know, freely roaming the house
because we like can barricade the stairsand we barricade the kids play room,
and then he has like a freeroam of like the whole downstairs area.
Yes, And I'm starting to teachhim like because he has his own bed,
it's like go to your bed,and so he's he's starting to figure
(22:52):
it out because I think he seesthe other two dogs like they're in their
bed, this is your bed.I don't know, it's like it's a
whole new thing, a whole newthing happening over here. I just can't,
like I was at your house twoweeks ago. Now, it was
chaos, because it's always chaos ifyou're gonna have three kids, right,
and then you just said, let'sadd a puppy, Like it's another level
(23:17):
of chaos. It's like you knewyou weren't ready to have another kid or
maybe everard, so you're like, what about a puppy? Yes, and
no, I see where your thoughtprocess on that, yeah is. But
at the same time, like Isaid, it's in my head like Savey
is going to start school in likea few months, and so she is.
(23:40):
I didn't know this, I know. So we're gonna get her enrolled
in like these next few months, and then it's really going to be an
empty house from like seven thirty inthe morning until three o'clock, four o'clock
in the afternoon. That's and Mike'sworking from home right now, and so
it's just really this is like thistime, yeah, to do it with
(24:02):
Michael working from home right now,It actually is definitely the time because I
think about getting a dog all thetime, and I'm like, with my
schedule alone too tricky butt, Likegetting a dog that's like Diego size,
and like that requires the amount ofattention that Diego needs. I wouldn't recommend,
but getting a dog like Dakota,a smaller dog, is a lot
(24:26):
I think, you know, easierbecause it's one of those things where you
could, well, I don't knowwhat your boyfriends schedule is, but you
know, either he could like home, wake up and like walk her and
walk him or her in the morning, right and then if you both had
to like not be available or beworking during the day. What I did
with Dakota is I hired a dogwalker and so she remember I was living
(24:48):
in a condo at the time, and so the dog walker would come at
noon or one o'clock and let Dakotaout. She would walk her for an
hour and then feed her, andthen you know all that she kept the
log we had, like the logbreak just like she's like literally the schedule
you had with the babies, Ohmy gosh. And even with Diego we
got on like the twin baby schedule. Again we're like, oh, he
(25:12):
said seven, eleven, three andseven, like we were just getting it
down and then we realized, I'mlike, I don't think we need to
feed him four times a day. That might be well, we were reading
different books, and it's like he'ssupposed to have two to two and a
half cups of food a day andit's said to spread it out four times.
But then we were, oh,my gosh, this is like too
(25:32):
much. We're doing three, we'redoing I think we're doing seven, one
and seven right now. Oh okay, And then seems to be okay,
and then eventually we'll drop the lunchand then he'll just do morning at night.
But it's again, it's like it'sit's exciting. I'm happy. No,
I'm so excited for you guys.I wish you had him when I
was there. Yes, And noyou don't. I mean we're not going
(25:56):
to have any guests for a while. Oh that's true. The crate alone
takes up the entire entryway, youknow, like oh when youn't even walk
in, and you're like, I'vehad like that big round mirror, and
I was saying, I was like, oh, eventually I'm gonna get like
a little credenza here, like anentry table. It's like, no,
you are not. No, Iam not, because we have this whole
(26:18):
set up there. But you know, I feel like we're a few months
away from where we're like he won'thave the pen anymore, and then it'll
just be the crate for when we'renot at home, right and then and
then eventually he'll be like our dogswhere it's just like there's no crate and
then we just carry on with ourlives. But that'll be a probably a
year from now. Yeah, it'sso exciting that the kids are like still
so young and we'll grow up withthis dog that grows up with them.
(26:41):
Like I love that. I lovethat too. I think it's really cute
to see them so especially Asa.She's really taken on like big sister role
and helps every day, like withthe feeding and understands like the play schedule,
like if she goes into the penwith to play with him, and
then after he then like how hehave to take him out to go body
because otherwise, oh my gosh. She's so organized. But it's good for
(27:04):
them too, because it's like Iwas reading and I'm sure it's with any
dog, but I bought like aDalmatian training book. I think I was
like, of course, Michael wasgiving me shit about it. He's like,
worry buding that everything's on the internet. It's like I don't know,
like I want like a physical book, and then this guy reading it every
night. Now I'm like, oh, we want the book. Well the
(27:26):
book said, I was like, yeah, I know. But anyways,
it's they did say like the firstespecially the first two weeks are like the
most crucial when you get a newpuppy. It's all about trust, like
they're learning to trust you and viceversa. So I think it's good for
the kids to also be in thatbecause it's he's just gonna get bigger and
(27:47):
the more he keeps like jumping andit's like trying to nip the jumping because
he can't. It's cute now becausehe's puppy fine, but when he's eighty
pounds jumping on someone, that's likeit's gonna he's gonna knock them down,
Like totally, there's no like yoan me. The kids do not discredit
Savella, who nearly ripped your pantrydoor off its hinges when I was there.
(28:08):
Yeah, it's true, she's gonnabe like I got you. Yeah,
we're super excited. I highly recommendanybody if you're thinking about getting a
puppy to look at your local sheltersbecause they're there, like it's you don't
need to go through a breeder. There's so many dogs any homes, and
(28:29):
that's what I was so shocked whenyou like posted and it was clearly a
rescue and such. I was like, I just don't think that people are
aware that all kinds of dogs andpuppies are available to rescue. So it's
definitely worth looking into. I've like, I'm going to look up that site
you mentioned. Was it Dogs WithoutBorders dot org? Dogs without Borders dot
org. And then there was anotherorganization that partnered with them that day because
(28:55):
they did like a whole thing becausethey were outside of fred Siegel. So
then there was like another like Ithink if you shoped at a sequal that
day, the per percentage went backto the shelter or whatever. But oh
cool, I think it was.It was called Rescue Spot, so if
you looked them up as well, they I think that's like an umbrella for
maybe like multiple shelters. So atthe end of the day, we ended
(29:15):
up just going directly through Dogs WithoutBorders because the CEO was there and she
was just like, let's just getyou into our system this way. Yeah,
and it was great and it includedin his because he needs to get
nuted in a few months, andso it included that fee included all of
his first round of vaccines. Likeit was just he was basically ready to
go except for he needed like thenext round of vaccines. So we took
(29:37):
him to our bet that same day. Her vet like couldn't believe it either.
She was just like, oh mygod, you were just here went
to go to gypsum. Like Iwas like, yep, what is happening?
So exciting, It's very exciting.Did not expect this podcast to be
all about Diego. I thought wewould cover other current events. We had
so much catching up to do.But there you have. There's your puppy
(30:00):
one oh one. If you areconsidering, I say, rip the bandit
off and go for it. Ifyou have the means and also the space
in your home. Yes, you'rereally You're a bad influence on me now
because I've been thinking about it fora while now, and I'm like everybody
said that. Like I came towork and Tanya was just like, oh,
(30:21):
I'm really using you as leverage rightnow, Robbie to try to like
get a second dog. I waslike, she has dog and she's planning
a wedding. She has three kidsand now she has three dogs. Like,
look, we can do it.We do this, I know,
Like, look, it's totally possible. Oh my god. No, it's
a lot of work. But he'she's very loved. Yes, there's no
(30:45):
doubt about that. But love. There's too much love to go around at
this point with this dog so cute. Please post those videos of the twins
meeting him. Yes, I will, And for anybody listening if you do
want to have your fix of puppycontent, yes, I'm officially a dog
owner that has an Instagram for herdog. Never thought I would see the
(31:07):
day. I always low key madefun of these people, and yeah,
I've I'm that person now. Idon't know why. What's his instagrament?
His Instagram is Diego dot the Dalmatian. That's right, that's all right,
Diego the Dalmati. But put aperiod after Diego. He's only got three
(31:30):
posts so far, and he's alreadya third of the way to the same
amount of followers that I have.So people, that's cool. People love
puppies. He's so cute. Andif you are a dog talent agent,
he's looking for representation. So youare out of control. You never know.
This guy's the limits for Diego. You just never know. A powerful
(31:53):
name and a powerful mom. Diegothe Dalmatian, Here he comes. All
